This is Fantasy Football Today from CBS Sports.
What a play!
Can you believe this?
Can I know I can?
It's time to dominate your fantasy league.
Off to the races!
And he stays on his feet!
He's just going to go the distance!
Now, here's some combination of Adam, Dave, Jamie, and Heath.
All right, we're in the fantasy playoffs, baby.
Or maybe you're in a 10-team league and you have another week left.
I know that's the case for me in actually two leagues.
So, important week here, week 15.
Welcome to the show.
Welcome to the Waiver Wire.
A lot of names to talk about today.
Do we have a great name out there?
We'll find out.
Adam Azer with Dave Richard and Jamie Eisenberg.
Dave eliminated me on the Derrick Henry touchdown last night.
That was pretty messed up, Dave.
Which league?
FFT.
That helped me secure a bye.
That's great.
Congratulations.
I hope you root for me.
Please root for me.
I need the help.
Yeah, I'm in seventh place.
Great.
One, two, three.
Oh, man.
That's such a bummer.
Yeah, congratulations, Dave. Way to go. Anyway, so we in seventh place. Great. One, two, three. Oh, man. That's such a bummer. Yeah, congratulations, Dave.
Way to go.
Anyway, so we've got every position.
So many quarterbacks.
Deep league quarterbacks.
We've got some injuries at running back, so it's kind of an interesting week.
And you know what?
We will get right.
Oh, and by the way, we also had probably the most improbable comeback,
or possibly the most improbable comeback in NFL history last night.
Imagine being a Hurricanes fan and a Dolphins fan.
What's so bad about being a Hurricanes fan right now?
Well, after the Georgia Tech game, right?
Oh, yes.
You're right.
That field has seen two of the most improbable comeback wins
in football history in a span of three months.
All right.
Anyway, let's get to the waiver wire.

Jamie, top three priorities this week.
I'm going to put Ty Chandler first,
just with the opportunity to replace Alexander Madison.
I'm going to put Antonio Gibson second,
just the opportunity to replace Brian Robinson.
And then it's a toss up of your favorite Ravens player,
but I'll put Isaiah likely first just because of the position that he plays.
So likely over Odell Beckham.
But those are the three slash four top priorities
you should be looking at for this week.
Okay.
Gibson is more rostered than Chandler is about 62% roster.
Chandler is about 44% roster.
Chandler is a great matchup at Cincinnati and Gibson has the Rams,
which hasn't been a great matchup.
Um,
are you at this point,
do you feel confident in knowing the status of either Madison or Brian Robinson for this week?
Or are we just kind of guessing on this Tuesday morning?
We're guessing.
If it's a high ankle sprain for Madison, he's not going to play on Saturday.
If it's a low ankle sprain, he still has a chance.
But you should go with the idea of not having Madison, which opens the door for Chandler.
I haven't seen anything on Robinson to suggest that
he is a playing or be sitting so there's there's just no news but the fact that he left their last
game and nothing positive yet has come out from Washington you know you should just again speculate
on on Gibson at this point and and yes it's a tough matchup but we know that he's able to work
in the passing game and that sort of goes even if Robinson plays that you can get some value out of Gibson,
knowing that if you lost Jacobs and you lose Madison for this week,
Jacob's also dealing with an injury or need to flex and Gibson can
potentially help you in PPR.
All right.
And then Isaiah likely would be the third one at Jacksonville,
but obviously it's going to depend on what you need.
Don't forget to play a little defense this week to take a look at what
your opponent needs. And I'll try to forget to play a little defense this week to take a look at what your
opponent needs.
And I'll try to help you out a little bit for week 16.
If you have a buy Dave, who are your top three priorities?
I agree with Chandler.
I'm curious why you didn't put Jarek McKinnon toward the top of your list,
Jamie.
Well, we don't know if the check was coming back and he's still splitting
with, with Clyde Edwards.
He had less touches.
So he he's, I would take Deontay Foreman over the chiefs guys.
If you're looking for another running back.
Sure.
Because it looks like Foreman will play the most, but I wonder if McKinnon, first of all,
I was surprised that McKinnon like cat, he was almost even in snaps with Clyde.
So yes, fewer touches in Clyde, but he did more with his touches.
And I wonder if he starts to eat into Clyde's work a little bit more.
So I'm kind of intrigued by him, especially if I can't get my hands on Gibson
and or Likely.
Those guys are available in less than 40% of leagues.
So if I threw out Gibson and Likely, my top three would be Chandler.
Let's go with McKinnon, and then Foreman is my top three.
Okay.
How do we feel about Beckham?
I like him.
How do you turn yourself away from 10 targets in a game where the Ravens put it all on Lamar Jackson in the rain, no less.
So I'm very, very encouraged by what I saw from Odell. It just doesn't play that much. It's
really strange. You can't get that snap count up to even the sixties, I think. I think it was around 60% of snaps.
Bizarre.
But he still draws so many targets.
So to me, he's easily the best wide receiver to pick up
because the next best guy, I think, is Curtis Samuel.
But they're both anywhere between 40% and 50% available.
They both might be rostered in your leagues.
But to me, wide receiver is kind of weak.
Running back, there's more.
Tight end, there's a little more.
So I have to ask this question here,
and hopefully I think it will be the only time we discuss this.
Probably an easy answer, right?
But we know that CBS roster percentages are higher than on the other websites.
We have more 12-team leagues.
I think Yahoo and ESPN trend to 10-team leagues a lot, and maybe some of you are in 10 on the other websites. So we have more 12 team leagues, like Yahoo and ESPN trend to 10 team leagues a lot.
And maybe some of you are in 10 team leagues.
So if Ezekiel Elliott,
who I believe is 82% rostered were available.
Number one by far.
Okay.
Number one by far.
That's not even close.
That's all.
If,
so if Zeke is available,
go get Zeke.
Otherwise we're looking at Ty Chandler and let's talk about Ty Chandler and
Antonio Gibson here, because Chandler
he
44% roster, as I said. He had 12 carries
for 34 yards, 3 catches for 7
yards. He ran a lot of routes in the
second half. He's just never been involved in the passing game.
It's always been a Madison thing.
But he's got the Bengals, who are actually
good against passing. Well, the first game after Cam Akers, he was
involved in the passing game.
He got 4 catches, but he didn't,
but he never plays on third down,
I guess is what I should say, right?
So it's going to have to come on first and second down,
and he was always splitting first and second down.
So those catches seem a little fluky,
but in the second half, we saw a better roll for him.
And by the way, just throwing this out in case I forget,
Deontay Foreman led Bears running backs
in routes run last week.
So that was interesting.
Not a third down guy, but he ran a lot of routes.
He looked like he was their primary rundowns back.
I think my question with Chandler is, is this a trap?
You know, yes.
It's like, is he much more appealing than like a Zamir White?
Or is he just kind of a not so good running back?
He's much more appealing than Zamir White.
You have a Bengals defense that's, you know, for the most part,
struggled.
They did a much better job against Zach Moss,
but I don't know how much of that is Moss.
Four of the last five running backs against them,
15.9 PPR points or more.
So you're looking at a guy that's going to get,
he got 15 total touches in a game where he didn't start.
And so you're looking at probably 20 total touches with more of a drop back
pocket passer and Nick Mullins as the expected starter,
then Josh Dobbs is going to escape the pocket and may not throw to his
running backs as much.
So design throws to the running backs.
I think we'll be there.
There's a lot of play with Minnesota,
obviously because we don't know who the quarterback is.
We don't know if Justin Jefferson is fully going to play.
And now you have the Madison injury.
But I think if you just tell me right now, Chandler starting,
I would take him over the Raiders guys for sure. I would take him now you have the Madison injury. But I think if you just tell me right now, Chandler starting, uh, I would take him over
the Raiders guys for sure.
I would take him over Gibson as the expected starter.
If he is that guy in Washington, just because of the defense that he's facing against the
Rams.
But those two are very close.
Uh, I would take them over for him and I would take them over the chiefs guys.
I just think you're looking at while the, the running back in Minnesota hasn't been
great because the lack of touchdowns, he does have a rushing touchdown more than Madison, which is surprising.
But I think, again, 20 total touches against the Bengals on a short week.
I don't mind that.
Would you start him over James Conner against San Francisco?
Yes.
Okay.
Ty Chandler, would you start him over Devin Singletary at Tennessee?
They're very close.
I would lean towards Singletary, but it's tough just because we've now seen two games of Pierce being back.
Man, it's just hard to say that they're going to definitely give Singletary a touch.
I'd be surprised if they didn't, but that could be an awful offense.
Absolutely awful offense for for the texans it's true but i it's not like the vikings
offense is suddenly gonna be amazing with with what they've been going through i like the matchup
for chandler because the bengals have given up a touchdown to running back in literally every game
except for four this year 4.4 yards per carry. It's just Chandler's been given opportunities to go and be this,
at worst, the 1B in the offense,
and he really has never had the chance to do it.
I just think they're out of options now,
and that's what you have to kind of buy into with Chandler
is that he's going to get a big opportunity.
And they're all must-win games for pretty much every contending team
in the NFL at this point.
So I think that's what you're hoping for with Chandler.
Close call with him,
for him between Connor and Singletary.
They're all going to be ranked in the same range for me.
Um,
Brian Robinson,
I'm just snooping around the internet looking for news on him.
Uh,
there's a,
there's a story on the commander's website campaigning for him to make the
pro bowl.
That's the only thing I saw.
I saw that too.
It's six days old.
Uh,
I don't think there's anything about his injury.
There's nothing.
So I don't know.
I asked somebody who's close to the commanders if they know anything,
and I'll let you know if he gets back to me.
All right.
So I know I don't usually do this for Waver Wire
and talk about just rankings at this point in the week,
but I think it's obviously important.
You're not picking up Chandler for a speculative
ad here. You need to know, do you start him?
So I'll read some chat questions. Chandler or
Mixon this week in PPR?
Mixon.
Chandler or David Montgomery?
Montgomery. David Montgomery.
Chandler or Jalen Warren?
Chandler.
Yeah, I think that's a safe bet.
All right. We'll also remind people that we have...
That took a huge turn in quality at running back.
We have three Saturday games.
We have a Thursday game, Chargers at the Raiders,
and we have Minnesota at Cincinnati,
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis,
and Denver at Detroit on Saturday.
Okay.

Oh boy, just a really terrible day
for Jordan Love.
He was so off.
I think it may have been the wind.
It was only like
seven mile per hour wind
or something,
but it seemed like
it was much worse on the field.
The kicks were off.
The throws were off,
but I'm sorry to those of you who started Jordan Love. It seemed like he was going to have a good. The kicks were off. The throws were off.
But I'm sorry to those of you who started Jordan Love.
It seemed like he was going to have a good game, and he could have had a good game.
He just missed so many throws and played horribly.
We'll get into that later.
I feel like he was being reined in through the first three quarters,
and we've seen this before from the Packers.
I kind of thought that they were over this, but lots of short passes.
You could tell that they were worried this, but lots of short passes. They, you could tell that they were worried about the giant splits.
And so he he's the whole game.
He had a season low 5.9 yard, eight on 15.4% off target rate.
And he didn't throw deep as much until the fourth quarter.
And in the fourth quarter, he came alive.
He looked, he looked at his best.
Then his ADOT jumped to 9.1.
He was off target on 7% of his throws over a quarter of
his throws went 15 plus air yards played better in the fourth quarter when he just seemed more
loose and free i think that that's the key um but it that that's hand in hand with coaching
so he was off target early footwork wasn't great early passes were short early and he wasn't
connecting them it's a bad combination yeah and I think he was missing Christian Watson, right?
I mean, he's missing his best vertical threat.
All right, news and notes.
Tyreek Hill hurt his ankle yesterday,
was kind of in and out of the game.
To me, won the MVP last night.
Yeah, sure.
A lot of people felt that way, yeah.
Yeah.
Justin Herbert's going to have,
probably going to have finger surgery,
unlikely to play this week,
could be out for the rest of the season. Are you comfortable dropping Justin Herbert or you want
to hold on? Not dropping him in super flex or two quarterback leagues yet. Um, one quarterback
leagues. If you're in a roster crunch, then yes, you can drop them because look, you have to pick
up maybe two quarterbacks to figure out what the rest of your season looks like, especially if you
might have a buy, you know, trying to figure out, okay, can i pick somebody up maybe to play defense this week or pick up somebody that
i'm going to use for next week and then maybe for the week after that so he's definitely droppable
in one quarterback leagues if you need the roster spot plus isn't it like logical he's got a broken
finger on his throwing hand how could he play through that it just seems it seems like crazy
that he would come back and play if i'm the chargers i'm shutting down all their stars
like what's the court yes don't do that just don the Chargers, I'm shutting down all their stars. Like, what's the point?
Of course.
Yes.
Don't do that.
Just don't do that.
We all need their stars.
No, no, no.
It's not a fantasy thing.
I'm just talking about if I'm the Chargers general manager,
looking at this situation of we're firing our coach,
we have a franchise quarterback that we're not going to play
because of a finger injury.
And if we want to get maybe one more year out of Keenan Allen
at a high level and maybe bring back Austin Eckler
and see what he has left, why play those guys?
Time to see what you've got in Easton Stick and Quentin Johnson
and deactivate the access card for Brandon Staley.
All right.
As you all know, Aaron Jones did not play last night.
Hopefully he'll get back on the field next week.
Justin Jefferson, good news.
There's some optimism that he'll be able to play this week.
We'll call him day-to-day for now.
CJ Stroud's in the concussion protocol.
Nico Collins, calf injury.
The Vikings have not announced the quarterback yet.
That will be later in the week.
I think we're probably going to expect it to be Nick Mullins,
but we shall see.
They have such a good schedule.
Cincinnati, Detroit, Green Bay coming up.
So, you know, I was, I think a few weeks ago,
we were thinking Josh Jobs is going to be a league winner.
Jerome Ford, he, x-rays were negative on his hand or his wrist.
And we'll see what his status is.
But, you know, if Kareem Hunt, if Jerome Ford were out,
would you rather have Chandler or Kareem Hunt this week?
I'd rather have Kareem Hunt.
Chandler, because that Bears defense is good.
It is, but you're getting two running backs that are going to get a lot of work.
One of them has proven that he can play moderately well, even at his advanced age.
That's Hunt.
Okay.
Josh Jacobs is going to be questionable
for Thursday's game. He was listed as
a did-not-practice.
Let's see.
Alexander Madison, we talked about.
Joe Flacco is the starter the rest of the season.
Dontavian Wicks may have a high ankle sprain.
Josh Palmer was
listed as practicing in full.
Oh, how excited I would be
for Palmer, if not for
the Herbert thing.
Gerald Everett was listed as limited.
Tutu Atwell's in the
concussion protocol. I haven't
seen an update on Dalton Kincaid. I think he's
fine. He played...
Day-to-day.
Day-to-day? Okay.
And on
defense, Buck's
secondary is a mess.
That's Jordan Love's matchup this week.
Texans are super beat up.
Maybe Will Levis can put together a nice game.
I thought Kyle Hamilton was definitely going to miss the game
for the Ravens this upcoming game.
He has a sprained MCL,
but he has not been ruled out.
They're at Jacksonville.
The 49ers defense got very beat up.
Are you guys going to trust them?
We don't know who's going to play,
but Charverius Ward and Javon Hargrave,
Eric Armstead, all injured right now for 49ers.
DST at Arizona, do you trust the 49ers this week?
I'll trust the 49ers, of course,
because they still have a lot of great playmakers,
but it does open the door for James Conner
to be a low-end RB, too.
It's one of the reasons why currently
I have Conner ahead of Chandler in my
rankings.
And then Buffalo, more injuries.
Micah Hyde, their safety, he left with a
stinger, and A.J. Epinesa, edge rusher,
left with injured ribs.
It's a good time for them to be hurt.
Good time, right? Facing Dallas.
Miami State.
Although they can see the division now. They might be able
to steal it.
What are they?
They play them in Week 18. And they've already the division now. They might be able to steal it. What are they? Two games back.
But they play them in Week 18.
And they've already beaten them once,
Bills versus the Dolphins.
This is kind of a big one.
Denver edge rusher Nick Benito is questionable.
He got hurt last week.
He's their sacks leader, I believe.
So they're at Detroit,
and we know how good their defense has been.
Dallas defensive tackle Jonathan Hankins left with a sprained ankle.
Good run stuffer for them at Buffalo.
And Reid Blankenship, I talk about him every week.
He's got a concussion.
So, you know, maybe not starting him this week in IDP.
All right, take a break here.
When we come back, top three players at each position.
We'll be right back on Fantasy Football today.

All right, welcome back, everybody. We have not talked about quarterbacks really just yet.
Jamie, who are the top three quarterbacks to get this week?
Well, get ready for this list because it's going blow you away i'm it's just terrible the position
uh joe flacco is the number one guy to add now look jake browning is just above the threshold
of what we talk about so he's at 67 you could certainly put him at a flacco if you want to both
have difficult matchups this week with browning against the vikings and with flacco against the
bears uh but flacco is number one guy of the guys that we put in the range to add at 16%.
Then I'll go Drew Locke second just because of his matchup against Philadelphia.
If Geno Smith is out, I thought Locke actually handled himself well against the 49ers.
A couple of bad throws late in the game, but you're banking on matchup here.
And the Eagles, as we know, have been terrible against opposing quarterbacks.
And then Tommy DeVito, number three, ran for 71 yards.
That was impressive.
Not an easy matchup against the Saints, but we know the Saints defense still a bit banged up.
So he's done well, you know, 19.4 fantasy points or more in two of his last three games
and hopefully continues to use his legs. He now has got, now has at least 41 yards rushing in
two of his starts. So he's, he's there, but you know, you can really put Will Levis in this group
too. He looked good against the Dolphins,
gets a good matchup against a beat-up Texans defense.
Zach Wilson looked good.
He's playing a Dolphins defense that we know is a little bit banged up as well
that just gave up over 18 points to Will Levis.
And so really it's just kind of like Flacco and then, okay,
I'll take my chances with whoever else.
These are all super flexing 2QB guys.
Really, really tough to trust them in one quarterback leagues
unless you lost Stroud, you lost Herbert. And in that case, like I said,
I lean towards Flacco. Where did you put Nick Mullins on your list? I put him behind those
guys for a couple of reasons. One, I don't want to necessarily trust Nick Mullins fully. And two,
he's not guaranteed to be the starter for even this week because you could see a situation where
Kevin O'Connell wanted to go to the veteran in the middle of the game, but could go to Jaron
Hall to start if they want to go back to the guy who had the job
before he got hurt. If you knew that Mullins was going to start, it doesn't change anything.
No, I'd still take Will Levis over him. I would still take DeVito over him and I would still take
Drew Locke over him if he starts for Seattle. I agree with Locke. I think I like Locke the best.
I kind of, I kind of like joked when you talked about starting Locke
over some of the players that we mentioned on Sunday,
but you were right, dude.
He actually played pretty well against the Niners,
stepped down in matchup against Philadelphia.
I think Drew Locke could be okay.
I think I like him better than Flacco, actually.
And if Matthew Stafford is available, that's the layup.
He's got the commanders, and he's playing really well.
He's about 80% rostered.
And look, the same thing with Drew Locke.
If Geno Smith is available, if he starts.
So just keep that in mind.
That's a fair point.
Okay, so then that would make Flacco the safest one to go and get right now.
I don't think a lot of people in one quarterback leagues
are going after Drew Locke.
I think if you lost Stroud or you lost Herbert, you're going to go after Flacco first because, A, you know he's starting.
B, he's done well in the two starts and seemingly should continue to get better as he gets more command of the offense.
The other part of it, though, is, like you said, Drew Locke not guaranteed to start.
In super flex in two quarterback leagues, I'm going to guess Flacco's probably rostered already.
Most of the playoff league playoff, um, in any of them, whereas a lot of these other
guys, you know, Flacco, DeVito, these guys are already rostered, but like if you're
and Levis, but if you're chasing somebody this week, you're looking at potentially
Mullins, uh, lock still maybe Zappy.
I don't know how many people would, would, would be going after him.
Um, and, uh. And Easton Stick.
So these are the guys that you're looking at for Superflex
and two quarterback leagues, and most of the competitive ones.
How do you guys feel about Jake Browning in general?
I know you mentioned him.
He's not quite in the 65% threshold, but a little bit above that.
But Minnesota's just been a really tough matchup,
and just curious how you feel about Browning this week.
He makes me nervous just because he hasn't made a lot of amazing throws.
I feel like he's gotten a little lucky with some of his – like the Chase Brown touchdown last week, a little short dump off,
and Brown takes it to the house.
You can't argue with the results.
The numbers have been great for Browning.
But I feel like,
I feel like the other shoe can drop with him and he could end up delivering a bad game.
And this Vikings defense is good.
You mentioned that the pass rush is good.
Secondary,
I think is good.
I,
I,
he makes me nervous to,
to trust him when you could have Flacco.
And then you look at the other names like lock and DeVito and Levis and all that, like those guys made me nervous too. So it's all in the same boat,
but I just, I like what I see from the other quarterbacks before Browning.
I like what I see from Browning more than the other quarterbacks, but the matchup is definitely
difficult. The thing that I like about it is, and you know, it's, it's a byproduct of this tree, this Kyle Shanahan tree, is that they make a lot of throws easy for players and put the ball in their hands, the playmakers that are going to help them.
So, you know, it's like I'm watching the Bengals and the things that they're doing.
It's like that was a little Brock Purdy-ish there, you know, of just getting the ball out to your playmakers quickly and letting them make plays.
And that's not to say that he's in Brock Purdy level because Purdy has been awesome, but you saw it two games ago.
Let's just get Jamar chase as many opportunities and options as we possibly
can.
And it was great.
And then you saw last week,
it was two screenplays that were just fantastic and well-designed and letting
two speedsters one, one really, but a mixing also,
but letting those guys get the chance to make plays.
And so I don't think he's going to do great against Minnesota,
but I would trust him before I would
even drew lock against the
Eagles just because he could always
drew lock and be terrible.
Would you start browning
over Tua this week? Tua's got
the Jets. No,
unless Tyreek was out. As bad
as he looked against the Jets, as bad
as he performed against the Jets with his production,
and look, that offensive line is a disaster.
That was a huge part of what happened last night.
They lose their center.
It was basically four replacement guys on the line
by the end of the game last night.
So that's a huge problem against a Jets defense
that they got a little inspired.
They see the Dolphins lose, and they're like,
are we back in it?
No.
But I did get some messages from Jets fans.
Like we have a chance.
No, you don't.
But they can win that game.
And if, if the Dolphins offensive line is that bad, you know,
two is going to be in trouble.
He's, he's not a slam dunk this week to a biting stretch.
Okay.
Let's go to our top running backs on the waiver wire.
Dave, who are the top three running backs?
Ty Chandler's at the top, just because he's got the opportunity to be the lead back for Minnesota.
That's on the assumption that Alexander Madison's ankle keeps them out for their game this week.
I like McKinnon, uh, at 63% available. I think that he's got a chance to find the end zone again,
Kansas city, tough matchup against New England. We saw that Patriots run defense. They've been good all year long, pretty much, but McKinnon's used in a different way.
And I was encouraged by him playing almost as many snaps as Clyde Edwards, he layer,
not as many touches, but he gets a lot of the valuable touches working near the goal line,
third downs, all that stuff. Foreman would be next for me. That, that doesn't include Gibson
who's 37% available. We don't know about Brian Robinson.
And it does include Clyde Edwards-Hilaire, who's 38% available.
If you want to take a shot on the other running back in the Kansas City backfield,
the one that might get more touches than McKinnon.
Okay.
So if you are in the fantasy playoffs right now and you had to start Chai Chandler,
are you happy about that or are you...
No, I'm nervous.
You're nervous.
I'm nervous about any of these running backs.
But again, though, you just lost Pacheco two games ago
or prior to last week's game.
You just lose Josh Jacobs.
You just lose Alexander Madison.
We're looking for touches at this point. There's not going to be a lot of superstars. Like you could
say, okay, in my, in my 10 team league, and I'm just being speculative here. There's Ty J Spears
who just had back-to-back games of over 12 PPR points. Is that a guaranteed situation that you
can trust? And the talent is certainly better or would you trust ty chandler getting
all those opportunities so you're going to take a chance on ty chandler with all those opportunities
so that's what you're looking at here like zamir white situation is just tough to trust because
you just haven't seen him get any opportunities and it could be like the chiefs where they're
splitting touches and amir abdullah is the better of the two but he doesn't score a touchdown and
then you're getting an empty stat line for both of them. So I think in the case of Chandler,
at least you've seen the Vikings coaching staff trust him
over the last month since Cam Akers has gone down.
And he just got 15 total touches.
So 15 total touches in a game where Madison started
and had, I think, 10, 12.
Those probably look like 20 total touches.
And I think against the Bengals, that's worth buying into.
Top three wide receivers, Jamie? Beckham is definitely number one. Uh, you look at what he's
done when he's had at least seven touches. Um, and that's happened three times since week seven.
And in three of those games, he's gotten 14 and a half PPR points or more. So when he's
gotten opportunities, he's been successful with them. The next guy for me would be Zay Jones.
I mean, he just got every opportunity in the world from in the first game without Christian Kirk. And that I think is going
to continue because I don't think Parker Washington or the other receivers that they have, they're
going to take Zay Jones off the field. And you go back to last year when he was featured in this
offense, he was awesome. And I think that will be the case moving forward. The third guy would be
Curtis Samuel, just with the hope that coming off the bye, he continues to do what he was doing the
last two games. I don't imagine that would change.
And I especially could expect to see Sam Howell continue to throw 40 plus times, which has just been the norm more times than not.
Demario Douglas, somebody we talk about every week.
Yeah.
Right back into the mix.
You know, figure you get 11 points PBR.
Definitely in the mix.
Has clear concussion protocol first, though,
and not an easy matchup, obviously, against the Chiefs,
but he's definitely somebody that you want to pick up at this point.
Just feels like we've been telling people to do it,
and understandably so as roster percentage has gone the opposite direction
because you can't trust him.
So I'm guessing a lot of people pick him up Tuesday,
and then they drop him on Thursday or Friday when he's been ruled out,
and that was the case last Thursday when he was not able to play.
Yeah.
And look, he's probably not going to score a a touchdown he's a full PPR play anyway I think maybe half
PPR Damara Doug it's not he's a stud but uh I'm curious to see curious to see a few things like
what happens to Zeke's catches if Douglas plays if Parker plays and the Chiefs have been a really
tough matchup but I feel like I feel like Douglas I don't want to call him matchup proof,
but for just to get five for 50, I feel like he could do that.
Should be.
Yeah, if you're looking for 10 to 12 PPR points without a touchdown,
he'll get you that.
But I think there's no question that Beckham, Samuel, and Zay Jones
have much higher ceilings than that.
That's why they're ahead of DiMario.
Speaking of Zay Jones, he's facing the Ravens.
So Beckham and Zay Jones facing off. The Ravens, they're great. I mean, they're ahead of DiMario. Speaking of Zay Jones, he's facing the Ravens. So Beckham and Zay Jones facing off.
The Ravens, they're great.
I mean, they're ninth best against receivers,
but they do see the second most wide receiver targets in the NFL.
So you usually have opportunities.
Teams struggle to do much with them.
Tight ends, Dave.
Who are the top tight ends?
And I will ask you a follow-up on Isaiah Likely
after you say Isaiah Likely.
Well, go ahead.
Isaiah Likely's first. He's available in 38% of leagues on CBS sports.
I think that he's, um, going to continue to be a factor in the passing game. And I love the
matchup for him this week against Jacksonville. I've got Logan Thomas, second 55% available.
He's got a great matchup against the Rams. They've been terrible against tight ends lately.
And then I don't know if Darren Waller is going to play. You guys can tell me if you've heard about him being ruled out
in week 15, but he's still available in 46% of leagues. That's another type of player. If,
especially if I'm streaming tight ends, I'll stash him with the hope that I can get something
decent out of him when he does eventually come back. Plus I'm encouraged by what I've seen from the Giants passing game over the last few weeks.
DeVito, hi. I think that they've got something
interesting with DeVito.
It's not huge, but it's something.
But this is actually important for Darren Waller.
I mean, DeVito,
his passing yards are
175,
86, 246
at Washington,
which doesn't even count,
191 and 158.
But I mean, like, he's been fairly efficient.
They don't throw the ball much with him.
But how can I trust, like,
because Wandale's coming off a great game, you know,
but I hope I don't have to trust
a Giants pass catcher in the fantasy playoffs.
Well, I mean, when you're talking about
trying to find tight ends, though,
and a guy with as much upside as Darren Waller
may still have, it's a big if
because of the quarterback,
because of his injury situation,
and just the fact that this Giants offense
feels as if there's been a lot of flukiness to it.
But still, I mean, again,
when you're talking about,
hey, let's go get Logan Thomas.
Does that really inspire you to get
a great fantasy production there just because the matchup may be good against the Rams? you're talking about hey let's go get logan thomas does that really inspire you to get you know great
fantasy production there just because the matchup may be good against the rams like no we've seen
logan thomas it's a good matchup before and he's struggled like i'd rather take my chances with
darren waller if i don't need a starter not if i need a starter obviously you got to go get logan
thomas because there's no likelihood that waller plays but when you're talking about upside for
maybe week 16 and look you have a buy this week,
Ross is about to play with,
that could be a difference maker for you.
If you've been streaming the position.
And when he's been healthy,
how many times has he been the leading target getter for the giants?
Well, when he's been healthy,
he's,
he's been tight end 12 per game,
but that includes the jets game where he played on like one drive or
something.
So without that,
he's probably something like tight end eight.
He's had three absolutely terrible games with less than seven points.
He's had two or three big games.
He's been up and down.
Uh,
and the latest I heard latest we heard on Waller was they ruled them out for
week 14.
Obviously he was hopeful to play in week 15,
but let me ask you about likely.
So you're in the playoff race again.
Yeah,
right.
They're a game out of the playoffs,
but there's five teams ahead of them,
I think.
Um, and they placed the Eagles twice. So they're not really in the playoff race again. Yeah, right. They're a game out of the playoffs, but there's five teams ahead of them, I think. And they placed the Eagles twice,
so they're not really in the playoff race.
But likely, he had five catches for 83 yards
and a touchdown on seven targets.
54-yard touchdown catch on horrible busted coverage by the Rams,
who, by the way, are facing Logan Thomas this week.
And they have given up 13 or more points to a tight end
in five of their last six games, I believe.
Yeah, five of their last six games.
Anyway, should we be buying into likely?
Because if you take away that play,
he still is a guy who does nothing downfield,
not getting a huge target share.
You saw a season high in pass attempts from Lamar Jackson. So he's usually around 30 pass attempts, not getting a huge target share. You saw a season high in pass attempts from Lamar Jackson.
So he's usually around 30 pass attempts, not 43 like he was last week. Um, you know, it is a good
matchup. I do get that, but I think if you, I know you don't want to just take away a 54 yard
touchdown catch, but that was more on the Rams that unlikely if, if you take that away, he's
still not doing a lot of exciting things for fantasy.
How aggressive should we be?
Should he be a number one claim if you're tight end
desperate?
If you're tight end desperate, yes, he should be a number
one claim. But again, if you're talking
about who's the best player to add for
this week, I'd put him behind Chandler. I'd put him behind
Gibson. I would put him behind
potentially Beckham if you need a wide receiver.
There's not necessarily the he's got to be your number one guy, but you know, again, we, we
don't know how much Dallas Goddard can still produce, especially after just one game. You
know, I would, I would trust Goddard more than I would likely, but there's, there's questions there.
You don't know if Taysom Hill is going to play. You don't know if Dalton Schultz is going to play.
And so when you're talking about trying to replace those options, like this is a guy that you'd want There's questions there. You don't know if Taysom Hill is going to play. You don't know if Dalton Schultz is going to play.
And so when you're talking about trying to replace those options,
like this is a guy that you'd want to buy into because of,
it's not just what you saw this past week, which was, okay,
he took advantage of the busted coverage.
Let's give him some credit for that,
that Lamar Jackson actually saw him open and threw him the ball.
We see plenty of guys wide open that don't get the ball.
And then he had six targets the game before. So he's going to be a part of this offense to a a significant degree is he going to be the featured guy well no zay flowers and beckham had more targets and probably will continue to
but it's a tight end friendly offense still at least my opinion and he's going to get chances
to get production here so i don't mind him as a as a low-end starter this week in his matchup
against jacksonville which oh by the way just gave up a huge game to david jokic who had a big catch here. So I don't mind him as a, as a low end starter this week in his matchup against Jacksonville,
which, oh, by the way, just gave up a huge game to David Jokovic who had a big catch on busted
coverage himself. Don't you think likely floors eight PPR points? And that's what he gave you
two games ago. Yeah. And five games ago as well, when he had four targets, I think that's the
floor and the ceiling is much higher than that. And there aren't a lot of tight ends.
I think Logan Thomas's floor is a hell of a lot lower.
I would say that anytime you have a team that might be last in the NFL
in pass attempts, I mean, they're down there,
and you expect two other players to have more targets than him,
I do not think his floor is eight PPR points.
I don't hate likely.
I'm coming off negative.
I'm just presenting the other angle here.
No, I get it.
And to your point though,
about them, you know,
being a low volume passing team,
the MVP race is wide open right now.
And Lamar Jackson
could easily steal it
with winning the one seed
and playing the way that he played
this past game against the Rams
where he ran for 70 yards
and threw for three touchdowns.
Like he could put the Ravens
on his back.
We seem to do that plenty of times
and they get the top spot in the AFC in a
conference right now.
That's really a little bit Jacksonville struggling,
Miami struggling chief struggling.
You know,
I mean,
it's,
it's basically Baltimore is to lose.
And a lot of people will look at Lamar Jackson and say,
he's the MVP for the second time in his career.
And the Ravens are certainly looking at him that way.
All right.
I mean,
they've been looking at him that way for years.
That's not a big statement,
but the fact that they let him throw as much as they did last week tells you.
Yeah.
I hope I'm not facing Lamar Jackson this week.
That would make me feel very uncomfortable.
All right, Jamie, DSTs and kickers, please.
DSTs, there's a lot of different ways you can go here
because I think you're looking at a lot of bad quarterbacks.
So a lot of options available. But I'll take the Rams first against the commanders at home.
Just how much the commanders give up sacks, uh, Broncos against the lions right now.
That offense is reeling.
Certainly Jared Goff is struggling, uh, losing their best pass rusher might be something to keep an eye on, but just, you know, looking at the Broncos defense right now, they're playing great.
Cold still against Mitchell Trubisky.
That's always a favorable situation.
Falcons against Bryce Young.'s always a favorable situation. Falcons against Bryce Young.
That's a favorable situation.
And the Titans against Davis Mills, if they don't have Nico Collins.
And obviously no tank Dell.
So if Stroud is out, then that could be good for the Titans.
The DSTU played really well against Dolphins.
I know Dolphins made a bunch of mistakes, but still.
I'm sorry, kickers.
Matt Gay, I'll go back to him, even though he was miserable.
But he's back at home against Pittsburgh.
They give up a lot of fancy points to kickers. Lucas Haversick, I think I'm pronouncing that right. Matt Gay, I'll go back to him even though he was miserable, but he's back at home against Pittsburgh. They give up a lot of fantasy points to kickers.
Lucas Haversick, I think I'm pronouncing that right,
against the Commanders.
They're second in fantasy points allowed to kickers.
And Nick Folk against the Texans.
Again, another team that gives up a lot of field goal attempts.
So I like the situation there.
And there's one more guy to keep an eye on just because he was good,
and if Stroud does play, is Kiamir Fairbairn.
He's expected to come off IR.
He's eligible to come off IR this week and, uh, they would give him, I hope the job back if he's
healthy. All right, let's recap here. Quarterback Flacco, Drew Locke, maybe Tommy DeVito. Of course,
if Browning is available, you can go pick him up. And obviously Matthew Stafford, Gino Smith would
be headliners if they're available. Running back Ty Chand Ty Chandler, Antonio Gibson, Jarek McKinnon, Deontay Foreman.
Those are the big guys who have opportunities this week.
We don't know about Pacheco's status.
The only thing we saw on Pacheco was that he's unlikely to go on IR
and should be back sooner rather than later.
Wide receiver, Beckham, Zay Jones, Curtis Samuel, Demario Douglas.
Tight ends, likely Logan Jones, Curtis Samuel, Demario Douglas. Tight ends, likely
Logan Thomas, Darren Waller.
I think there was someone else
on Jamie's list ahead of
Cade Otten.
What about Tyler Conklin?
Yeah, not bad. The offense
were pretty good against tight ends.
DST's got the Rams against the Commanders,
the Broncos against Detroit on the road, the Colts against the Steelst's got the rams against the commanders the broncos against detroit
on the road uh the colts against the steelers and the falcons against the panthers and do we have
any idps yes we do do you know me i do you down at the defensive line has been playing well for
several weeks he just had one of his best games of the year, but he's out there in only 58% of leagues. So DJ Wanham would be the alternate play at defensive line.
Adam, I think this might be your second favorite IDP player, Ivan Pace. The world has not caught
up to what Ivan Pace has been doing the last few weeks, at least nine total tackles, each of his
last three games, at least 10 fantasy points in those games. And he's out there in over 80% of them.
Why would he be my favorite?
Well, read Brankenship.
Blankenship is the one you talk about a lot.
Oh, yeah.
So Ivan Pace would be second best for you.
Other linebackers, Ernest Jones, Christian Harris, Landon Roberts.
Defensive back, P.J. Locke, we mentioned him last week,
came through seven tackles, tons of other stats to go along with it,
should be a factor for Denver moving forward.
And another defensive back, D.J. Reid,
not necessarily getting a ton of tackles,
but just being involved in that secondary for the Jets.
He gets a lot of opportunities.
Three of his last four games, he's had at least nine fantasy points
in leagues where tackles count.
I'm trying to look ahead to week 16 and
maybe Aaron Rodgers against Washington. That would be really fun.
Geno Smith is at Tennessee. What about Zach Wilson against
Washington? I could not ever put my
face. He has another game against the Dolphins. Would you still feel the same way?
Probably. I bet you would have said the same
thing about Joe Flacco or Drew Locke being in your fantasy, or Jake Browning
being in your fantasy lineup. It's a bad, I mean, we have some of the
worst quarterback matchups. Forget about just individual players. Some of the worst
matchups coming up. I mean, think about Thursday night, what you have to watch. Aiden O'Connell
versus Easton Stick. We are
subjected to that game. Then you get
Nick Mullins against Jake Browning, which again,
not to disrespect Jake Browning. He's played
well, but it's still backup quarterback.
There's
two more that are just absolutely awful.
Will Levis and Davis Mills.
That's another one that could be a stinker.
How about Mahomes versus Zappi?
That's true.
Two terrible quarterbacks there.
All right, let's take a break.
Sorry.
I like Mahomes.
I do.
I always dump on him, but it's all in jest.
I'm a Mahomes guy.
If I needed a jersey, I don't think I'd buy it.
I wonder if the Chiefs are struggling right now.
I don't think I'd buy a Mahomes jersey.
That's a little boring.
Whose jersey would I buy? I have to think abouts are struggling right now. I don't think I'd buy him a Holmes jersey. That's a little boring. Whose jersey would I buy?
I have to think about that.
DeVito.
No, I like a non-Giants jersey.
Whose jersey would I buy?
I love it.
Blankenship.
All right.
We'll be right back with shallow leagues, deep leagues,
and players to drop and more on Fantasy Football today.
Welcome back, everybody.
Here we go. Jamie
shallow league players who are the best ones to get. You mentioned, uh, one quarterback and
Matthew Stafford obviously has been fantastic the last three weeks. Hopefully it'll be good for
a fourth week in a row, uh, taking on the commanders and Gino Smith, I think is worth
looking into in case you need a quarterback just based on the matchup against Philadelphia.
I believe Pete Carroll said, quote, we'll see if he's able to return from his groin injury.
But he also gets the Titans the following week, so he could be a good two-week option against Philly and the Eagles.
At running back, it's not exactly the greatest list.
You mentioned Zeke. He's at 82% rostered. Kareem Hunt is also at 80%
rostered. So could be the starter there for the Browns. And obviously we'd put him in the number
two running back range just in case there is no Jerome Ford. Hopefully Ford does play because
he's been a very solid fantasy running back, but Hunt has now scored seven touchdowns in the Browns
last nine games. And that includes a three game stretch where he did not score. So that tells you
how many touchdowns he scored in the initial part of that nine game span. Wide receiver is not great, but Noah Brown is worth looking into if
Stroud plays and if Nico Collins is out. I know he's got seven targets in his last two games and
no catches, but I still feel the best about him compared to Robert Woods and John Meche if you're
looking for a Texans receiver and it is a good matchup against the Titans.
And then I think Jackson Smith and Najigba is worth taking a look at as a sleeper for this week.
Did have seven targets, didn't do much with it last week.
That was from Drew Locke.
That was against the 49ers,
but we know Philadelphia,
most fantasy points allowed to the position.
So someone to look at there.
And then I think a tight end,
if you just have a roster spot to play with
in a shallow league,
hopefully Dalton Schultz does return.
He's 80% rostered. So a lot of people dropping him, understandably so.
Did practice at least once last week,
so we'll see if he's able to get back on the practice field
and maybe play this week and, again,
could be the best pass catcher for the Texans
if Collins is out along with Tank Dell, we know, out for the season.
You got to love the opportunity for Dalton Schultz.
Jamie said 80% rostered.
His next three matchups are against teams
that rank first and second against tight ends.
Tennessee twice and Cleveland.
Tennessee is not allowed a touchdown
to a tight end this year.
So I feel like I'd favor just the idea of
if Stroud came back and no Nico.
I think I wouldn't ignore the matches.
I'd prefer the player over the matchups here,
but I did want to bring that up,
you know,
you know,
cause you,
you figure honestly the way the offense had been humming,
if Nico misses some significant time,
I felt like Schultz could step in and,
and be a real factor here,
you know,
maybe a league winner,
you know,
but I don't know how you guys feel about that basically,
but player versus matchup player slash opportunity versus matchups.
I don't think anybody was mentioning the,
the running backs against the Falcons.
Cause they haven't allowed a touchdown to a running back on the ground,
you know?
So,
um,
in this situation,
like Schultz versus Logan Thomas,
I'll take Schultz.
All right.
I would agree.
It's just the opportunity for those targets.
They're not going to go away.
They're just going to go to someone else,
as someone once famously told Jamie and I.
Now, Schultz versus Logan Thomas,
what if it's Davis Mills at quarterback?
Then it's Logan Thomas.
All right.
I still go with Schultz just because Davis can throw the short pass to Schultz.
All right, Dave.
Deep leagues.
Sure.
Well, quarterback, there's a ton of names that we already went over.
Guys like Locke and DeVito Mullins, Zach Wilson,
they're all available in 80-plus percent of leagues.
Flacco is available in 84% of leagues.
And I don't mind if you go Flacco over Locke.
It's probably the safe thing to do for week number 15.
Running backs, McKinnon's available in 63% of leagues. Let you go flack overlock. That's probably the safe thing to do for week number 15. Running backs.
McKinnon's available in 63% of leagues.
Let's go a little bit deeper.
There's Chase Brown, who's available in 88% of leagues.
The highlight is probably going to push him to be a popular ad off of waivers.
He just doesn't get a lot of playing time behind Joe Mixon.
Maybe that changes as we move forward,
but we've already talked about the matchup for Cincinnati against Minnesota. It's not going to be that easy for him. A wide receiver, some deep names. Demarcus
Robinson just is coming off of 10 target game for the last two weeks. He's shown speed on the field.
Stafford's throwing the ball like crazy. I'm talking very deep leagues where all the receivers
that we've talked about are already rostered. You can't get any of those guys.
You can't get Beckham, Samuel, Zay, Douglas.
Can't even get Rashid Shahid or Josh Palmer.
Then maybe Demarcus Robinson would make some sense.
Maybe Juju as well.
I don't know if his eruption on Thursday night was just because he was playing his old team
and he wanted to get a little revenge against them.
His old team again.
What, this week against Kansas City?
You're right.
So maybe there's another revenge game.
Revenge, revenge for Juju. Darnell
Mooney's available in 82% of leagues.
Malik Heath,
not Malik Cummings, Malik Heath.
And Samari Touré,
those are wide receivers that could
replace Jaden Reed and
Dontavian Wicks. We've got to find out if Reed's in the
concussion protocol or not.
If he misses, listen, he could be
in the concussion protocol and still have a chance
to clear. And Christian Watson could come
back. We don't know. But a lot of moving parts there.
You're probably not going to bother getting near
those guys. One other name to bring up,
and I probably should have mentioned him
first among the deep league guys, is
Parker Washington with Jacksonville.
It's not an easy matchup going up against Baltimore,
but he's 91% available.
He's got a touchdown catch each of the last two weeks.
Small guy, but fast.
And he should see more than three targets against the Ravens,
especially if we see the Jaguars trailing in the game.
Okay, Giants 24, Packers 22.
Any thoughts on this game?
Actually, my question is,
how much do you trust Jordan Love at home against the Buccaneers this week?
If he has at least Christian Watson,
then I would start him as a low-end number one quarterback.
If he has Watson and Reed, then he's a slam dunk.
If he has Reed and Romeo Dobbs,
I think he's still a low-end starter too.
I agree.
Okay.
Hopefully Aaron Jones comes back.
That'd be nice.
Jaden Reed, man.
They will give him the ball.
He had four carries.
He had a rushing touchdown.
That's the second time in the last three weeks, four weeks maybe.
Maybe Debo.
Yeah.
He's 51% started, 83% rostered.
Is Jaden Reed an easy start for you guys 100 hopefully
he's helping especially if there's no christian watson and that tampa bay secondary took on some
serious injuries last week they've been bad to begin with but they could be without both starting
cornerbacks one of their starting safeties and vita vea not giving them a push up the middle it
could be a really good situation for Jordan Love to bounce back.
Another tight end to look at, especially with Andrew Tucker Kraft.
Yep.
He's a deep league guy.
I didn't even talk about the deep league guy's ad.
He's on the list.
Brevin Jordan is also on the list, but that would mean no Dalton Schultz.
Yeah.
And Wandale Robinson, six catches for 79 yards and 36 rushing yards.
What a route he ran on basically the most important catch of the game.
Anyone want to pick him up?
I'm excited about him for next year.
For next year.
All right.
Yeah, remember, he's about a year removed now
from the ACL injury.
Yep.
It's just hard to trust.
It's funny.
I offered in the baked burger.
You know, Dan has an affinity for the Giants,
if you haven't heard.
Oh, man.
And so he was tweeting about Wondell a few weeks ago,
and I offered him Wondale for Cortland Sutton,
who he doesn't need because he's tanking.
And he said no.
And then last night I said, are you sure you didn't want Wandale?
Because he was tweeting about him again.
He's like, I should have done it.
All right.
And over to – but, yeah, you can't really –
I mean, I don't think you really trust Wandale right now.
It's just last week it was Jalen Hyatt, you know.
Sure.
It rotates around.
Is he that much different than Demario Douglas?
Yes.
Douglas has done it five weeks in a row.
Robinson just had one of the best games of his career, you know.
But they're used similarly, short area targets.
Yes, that's true.
And the Saints struggle against that.
Obviously, I'm starting Douglas over Wondell Robinson,
but I wonder if Wondell is going to be the high target getter again next week.
And you can pencil him in for 10 PPR points.
Tennessee 28, Miami 27.
How about the Dolphins running back splits here?
You know, they both got a lot of work,
but, you know, carries went to Mostert.
I think nine targets for A-Chan
could have had an 80-yard touchdown,
but Tua missed him.
But A-Chan ended up being kind of disappointing.
Mostert was awesome with the two touchdowns.
I'm just going to stop even doubting Mostert.
It is what it is.
He doesn't catch passes, really, but whatever.
No, keep doubting him.
You're doing a good job of helping him out.
I start him every week, just so you all know.
It's not like I sit him. It felt
a little unsustainable.
Through the last two games,
it really seems like he is
their running back when the game is competitive.
What do you guys make of him
and A-Chan right now?
You've got to start Mostert over A-Chan if you're
looking at the two of them.
And they get the Jets. Mostert scored two touchdowns against them last time out.
But A-Tan didn't play in that, or he left early in that game, right?
I don't think he played.
Yeah, it was Jeff Wilson, and Jeff Wilson had a pretty good role in that game, actually.
All right, so Jalen Waddell, six catches for 79 yards on eight targets.
If Tyreek Hill is out,
is Waddle a must start against the Jets?
I think
he's pretty much a must start against the Jets anyway,
even in a tough matchup, but you're talking about
a top 10 guy if Tyreek's
out or a top 15 guy for sure if Tyreek Hill's
out versus a borderline top 24
guy because of just how well the Jets
secondary has played. So you're
still starting Waddle in
most situations. Obviously you can pick apart Puka versus Waddle or some of these other guys
you picked up along the way versus Waddle. I get it, but it's very difficult to sit somebody
off his upside. And Dave, how much confidence do you have right now in DeAndre Hopkins,
who has started in 69% of leagues and ends up with seven catches, 124 yards and a touchdown
on 12 targets? I'd hate to have that on the bench, especially in a matchup against Houston
where I don't know how much Levis is going to have to throw in that game.
If Houston's offense is totally neutered, they don't have Stroud,
they don't have Collins, then this could be a massive Derrick Henry week.
And if that's the case, then there won't be a ton for Hopkins,
but you'd still start him as somewhere between wide receiver 20 and wide
receiver 28.
All right.
They're absolutely going to give him a chance to score against his former
team.
100%.
Sure.
That's a good point.
And Derrick Henry has historically just destroy the Houston Texans.
But this year,
the Texans have a great run defense.
They have a great run defense.
It's just a matter of how competitive
their offense will be. Yeah, you'll start
Henry for sure. Could be an ugly game.
And you guys didn't mention, I made
freezing cold takes for the second time
in less than 365 days.
Congratulations. It was a real
probably my worst
tweet ever, I'd have to
say.
I said, this was right after Barkley fumbled
and the Titans fumbled on the punt,
which was a ridiculous fumble inside their own 10.
I said, bad teams find ways to lose games.
Actually, it was right after the Packers scored a touchdown
to go take the lead.
Bad teams find ways to lose games.
Giants and Titans showing that tonight.
Giants still have a chance, but you know, they don't.
And what ensued was Tommy DeVito, the game-winning drive.
But not just that.
The Titans, I think they're the first team ever to win
when trailing by 14 or more points with three minutes left
to win in regulation.
It was like 716 games in a row, that scenario.
Unbelievable.
Didn't the Colts pull it off at some point against Tampa?
If they did, it was an overtime.
The Titans are the first team to do that,
or whatever they specifically did,
14 points in whatever amount of time it was,
about three minutes, in regulation.
Unbelievable collapse by the Miami Dolphins.
Yeah, very, very frustrating to watch that one and very frustrating to watch if you're a Dolphins fan
and if you're a Giants fan, excuse me, Packers fan,
because there's huge playoff implications for those two teams.
I mean, the Dolphins were looking at a potential shot at the one seed
and running away with the division, and now they've got to worry about Buffalo.
Look, if Buffalo beats the Cowboys,
the Dolphins have to then play their next three games after the Jets are against the Ravens, the Cowboys, and the Bills.
And like you said, the Bills have already beaten them once.
So it's not going to be easy for Miami.
And then for the Packers, you know, they were looking at maybe a shot
at challenging the Lions to steal a division based on how Detroit has played.
And that might be tough now,
you know, at six and seven.
So who would have thought
that the Bills could still win the AFC East
and that the Giants could still get in the playoffs
after what's transpired?
How about that?
How many NFL teams have been eliminated
from the playoffs?
I believe the Patriots have.
The Panthers have.
And I think that's it.
Yeah.
All right, let's go to the
drop-o-meter.
CJ Stroud, 0-10.
Zero.
Okay, I mean, you say that,
and I get it,
but he might not play this week,
and then he has Cleveland after that,
and he may not have Nico Collins,
but okay, fine, don't drop him.
Jared Goff.
Zero.
Three.
Josh Dobbs. Zero. Three. Josh Dobbs.
55.
10.
Khalil Herbert.
Nine.
Was that a 105?
Yeah.
Roshan Johnson.
10.
Nine.
Josh Downs.
Nine.
Yeah.
Ready for this one?
T. Higgins.
Three.
Three.
A couple of bad drops for Higgins in the last game.
Elijah Moore, 58% roster.
And a push off in the end zone.
Nine.
Four. All right. Nine. Four.
Damian Pierce.
Seven. Four.
And here's a guy who deserves his own music. And I don't know what
it would be. It would probably just be someone
screaming, ripping their hair out.
Drop-o-meter for Gabe Davis.
Nine.
Five.
You know, he has three games in his last five without a catch.
His next two games are Dallas and the Chargers.
I think almost all of his big games have come when the Bills have scored like 30 or more points.
They have to have an offensive explosion for him to be good.
But they could against Dallas and the Chargers. They could.
They're just running the ball more.
That's taking opportunities away from
Josh Allen throwing the ball a bazillion times.
Eight ball
throw you out the stinking window.
Back to the waiver wire for one last
run here. Quarterbacks,
the shallow league guys are Stafford
and Geno Smith. Baker Mayfield
starter sit this week at Green Bay.
Don't like him this week,
but I believe his week 16 matchup is favorable.
It's Jacksonville at home.
So not bad this week,
especially if they're still banged up for the
Packers, but
more so for next week.
And
Jake Browning, 67% rostered.
We talked a lot about him earlier.
Joe Flacco, Drew Locke, Tommy DeVito,
Will Levis against Houston.
Houston's actually allowed 22 or more fantasy points
to five of the last six quarterbacks they've faced,
including Zach Wilson.
And Zach Wilson is also on this list at Miami.
Nick Mullins, Bailey Zappi, Mitchell Chubisky
Easton Stick. Alright, if I'm in a 2QB league and I see Nick Mullins
Bailey Zappi, Mitchell Chubisky and Easton Stick, who am I
prioritizing?
Did you somehow made the playoffs? Yeah
I feel like you could get almost any of those guys
at any point during the week, especially now with half the
teams in the league not bothering to play because they're out.
Mullins is who I'd go for first
just because he's the quarterback
that's going to throw to that receiving core
in an offense that's typically been pass happy.
And if you pick up Mullins
and then you end up seeing that Dobbs starts
or Jaron Allstarts
or there could be some quarterback flipping
during the game,
then you move off of him.
And at running back, Kareem Hunt could be available,
Clyde Edwards-Ziller.
So would you rather have Kareem Hunt or Clyde
if both Ford and Pacheco were out?
Hunt.
Same.
How about McKinnon or Hunt?
Hunt. Okay. How about McKinnon or Hunt? Hunt.
Okay.
How about Gibson or Hunt?
Hunt.
Gibson and PPR.
Okay.
Gibson is another guy you could see if you can go get.
And drop or hold Ramondre Stevenson, who has not ruled out a return?
So I saw one report that says if he does return,
it would be in week 17.
So drop.
Okay.
That is a playoff game.
Would be.
It's at Buffalo.
So not a terrible matchup.
Would you trust him at Buffalo?
I mean, Buffalo gives up.
No, in your fantasy championship, you trust him at that point?
I don't know if he's going to get as much work as he had in the past
if Zeke keeps playing like he's been playing.
Again, Zeke averaged like three yards.
Zeke's been catching.
Right, right.
I know.
But I don't know.
I mean, Buffalo happens to be a great matchup for pass-catching running backs.
All right, fine.
I get it.
You can drop him.
And in the report
that i read about this suggested that why would the patriots rush back their number one running
back and that makes sense just runs you get to the ground of course all right so remandre is
droppable but you don't have to drop him he's not a he's not worth the spike cut or anything else
there there would have to be somebody that you'd really want off the waiver wire that you would drop Stevenson for,
and you don't want to drop anybody else off your bench.
So the running backs are actually fairly interesting this week.
Ty Chandler with an opportunity,
hopefully against Cincinnati,
Deontay Foreman at Cleveland,
which has been struggling.
They've allowed six rushing touchdowns to running backs in their last five
games.
Deontay Foreman,
is he a top 24 running back this week?
No.
Jarek McKinnon,
Rico Dowdle,
Chase Brown,
interested in talking about him in Dynasty,
Zemir White,
Amir Abdullah. Would Zemir White or Amir Abdullah crack the top 30 this week?
No.
I do not have them in my top 30.
Chris Rodriguez could be getting some work for Washington if Brian Robinson is out. And then Jordan Mason, you saw him get the touchdown for the 49ers. If you had Christian McCaffrey, because Mitchell has a chance to play this week, would you rather have Mason or Mitchell? Mitchell it seems pretty clear that Mitchell is the number two guy when he's healthy but
Mason is somebody that they like but if Mitchell does not return you don't want to leave
the potential handcuffs to that sitting out there if you have a roster spot to play with
a wide receiver you can check on Noah Brown and Jackson Smith and Jigba we like Odell Beckham
Zay Jones although is Zay Jones more of a week 16 guy, or do you have any confidence in him in week 15 against the Ravens?
Oh, I think they're throwing a ton, and you saw that against Cleveland,
which is not an easy matchup either.
What do you have, 14 targets?
14 targets, five catches, 29 yards.
That's a bad day.
That's a bad day at the office.
It's a bad day at the office.
He just wasn't quite on the same page as Trevor Lawrence. And for maybe this is because the injury, I don't know enough about this, but Lawrence was overthrowing dudes a lot. And so if he wasn't overthrowing Zay Jones, there would have been at least one big touchdown between the two of them. So maybe they work this week to get on the same page. Lawrence is another week healthier, tough matchup, but I think there's upside for, for Zay.
Wasn't there a big game for him against the Ravens last year?
Why don't we try to say that one more time into the mic?
Can you say that without putting your face into a scarf?
I think Zay Jones had a big game against them last year.
Maybe.
Curtis Samuel, Wanda Robinson, Demario Douglas, Michael.
You've got three guys on the Cardinals,
Michael Wilson, Rondell Moore, and Greg.
I just put them there for my purposes,
just in case whoever's healthy.
And Michael Wilson looks like he's going to return.
So I do have some interest in him,
especially if Marquise Brown is out,
because Kyler will be throwing, I think, to him a lot.
Josh Palmer, I'm sure we would be more interested in
if he's in stick.
We're not going to be starting this week.
Quentin Johnston
coming off his best game, and
K.J. Osborne had seven targets. If Justin
Jefferson misses the game, you can keep an eye on that.
Dave mentioned Demarcus
Robinson and Juju Smith-Schuster and Parker
Washington. Does anyone want to add
Jonathan Mingo
against Atlanta this week?
No. I didn't
like the fact that he struggled as much as he did last week,
and Thielen was a little bit better.
Nine targets, but that's the only good thing.
Tight ends.
You can check on Dalton Schultz.
What about Kyle Pitts?
I haven't brought him up.
Do you keep him?
Add him if he's available.
You drop him for likely.
You drop him for Waller.
Kyle Pitts.
I would drop him for likely if I needed a tight end for this week,
I would drop him for Waller from not playing pits just to see what happens.
He had a nice touchdown catch,
but it's still too tough to trust.
And we know what this offense,
certainly what this quarterback has looked like on the road.
This season,
Ritter is not good on the road and they're playing Carolina.
This is a team that they,
this,
this is going to be the Arthur Smith,
like fantasy dream for him.
He's going to be able to run the ball 50 times.
Should have some good success running against Carolina and not bothering to throw.
Okay.
So add Isaiah likely Darren Waller.
Jamie likes Kate Otten.
Dave likes Logan Thomas.
I mean, they both like Dave likes Logan Thomas more than Jamie does.
And Jamie likes Kate Ot Thomas more than Jamie does. And Jamie likes Kate Otten
more than Dave does.
Green Bay has been struggling
against tight ends lately.
And Tucker Kraft,
Tyler Conklin.
Any interest in Hunter Henry
after the two touchdown game?
Moderate.
Well, first off,
if there's no Douglas
and there's no Parker,
then yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That'll help.
But we've seen it a bazillion times
from Hunter Henry,
where he has a big game
and then he follows it up
with a stinker.
First two weeks of the season,
he actually had good games.
Then after that,
just big thumbs down,
big fooled you.
Okay.
And
yeah,
that's okay.
That's about it.
Tucker.
I mentioned you guys. DSTs, Rams, and yeah, that's okay. That's about it. Tucker, I mentioned that.
DSTs, Rams, Broncos.
How confident are you in that one?
What if they're missing their sacks leader, Nick Benito?
Not so much, but I mean, if he does play and this Lions offensive line continues to look like it does
and Jared Goff continues to be a turnover machine
like he has been, I would not surprise me
if that's a good game for this Broncos DST once again I'm surprised you don't have the Falcons at
the top of the list is it because the injuries up front for them yeah I mean they're just not good
so they're they're they're on the list they're they're they're worth yeah like I said there's
you could throw the Raiders in there you know any of these teams that are facing these backup
quarterbacks the Chargers as well you, facing Aiden O'Connell without
Josh Jacobs. There's a thousand different
DSTs you can look at and say,
okay, this one has a chance to be good.
I'd say there's 32
DSTs that you could be looking at, not a thousand.
I just like the DST that's going up
against Bryce Young and the Panthers.
Sure. And kickers,
we got, oh, also the Colts,
the Falcons, the Titans are on the list.
Matt Gay coming off a zero, but he's still a good kicker.
Luke Havrasik and Nick Folk.
Well, thank you very much, everybody, for watching and listening to today's show.
Hope you're in a lot of playoffs.
Hope you have a lot of waiver claims to make tonight.
That's always a good thing.
If you've been eliminated, we'll have some content that sort of looks forward to next year.
I think on Wednesdays,
we'll talk a little bit
of Dynasty
and stuff like that.
Heath's Dynasty show
is great,
but if you're not in Dynasty,
we'll try to have some content,
at least on the Wednesday shows,
that might help you out
going forward.
Or we'll talk to you
in the off season,
but hopefully not.
Remember,
we have three episodes
every week in the off season.
Don't go away.
And I just wanted to say,
in our Big burger dynasty league,
one of our managers is donating $1,300 to St.
Jude.
So if you're feeling in the holiday spirit,
send a little donation to St.
Jude's way.
Did you make the playoffs?
I did snuck in,
snuck in succeed.
Going to probably get my butt kicked,
but you never know.
So who's in?
Thomas is in.
He's the two or the one?
Thomas, what are you?
I'm the one seed.
Thomas is the one seed.
I think I'm the five.
All right, let's take a look.
Thomas is the one.
James is the two.
Pepe, Sylvia, Eagles, the three.
Ritterby, this four. Jamie, five. Adam, six. I would have. Pepe, Sylvia, Eagles, the three. Ritter be this, four.
Jamie, five.
Adam, six.
I would have beat Pepe had you let me make my roster move.
Would you have?
Yeah.
Was that close?
Oh, my gosh.
What was the move?
So I was busy with coaching my kids
and wasn't paying attention to actives and inactives on Thursday.
So I left Devante Parker in my lineup because I was in a desperate
situation.
The guy would replace Smith with some Ajay Pirine.
And I called Adam like, I don't know, two minutes in the game,
five minutes in the game, something like that.
And I said, oh man, I forgot.
Can I take him out?
And he said, no.
And I said, all right, fine.
I appreciate you doing it.
I'm just gonna make fun of you.
And so, and you know, he did his job. He did his job as a commissioner. all right, fine. I appreciate you doing it. I'm just going to make fun of you.
He did his job. He did his job as a commissioner.
He didn't let me do it. The most amazing thing about this league is that Heath did not make the playoffs.
Heath drafted Jonathan
Taylor, Cooper Cup,
Travis Kelsey,
Justin Fields,
Joe Mixon. He had
Aaron Jones. He had Aaron Jones.
He went forward in year one.
It looked like he was the easy favorite,
and everything went wrong for him.
So it's just crazy how things work out in Dynasty. And he sold off a few of those guys, right?
He tried, yeah.
He's going to have the fourth pick in the draft.
All right, I got to go here.
Long show today.
Getting longer.
Thanks again, everybody.
We'll talk to you tomorrow on Fantasy Football.
