Fantasy football today presented by FedMGM, Megan Legendary. Jonathan Taylor. made it pretty legendary nearly 50 points most fantasy points for a running back since you know he Jonathan Taylor no good good guess Devon A. Chan so how about this 2023 week three

Devon Ait Chan scored 51.3 fantasy points the next week Christian McCaffrey scored 48.7 fantasy points today Jonathan Taylor came just what do you have 49.6 I believe believe uh 244 yards three touchdowns plus three catches for 42 yards in the game not too bad did you did you by any chance beat jonathan taylor this week i don't think i faced jonathan taylor this week i honestly don't i know i don't think i faced a chance either who also had 40 points i faced gibbs in three or four leagues okay i faced just a real quick i faced jonathan taylor but the guy who started jonathan taylor also started patrick behomes kareem hunt and tis Higgins.

So I am going to win that week. Now, one more stat for you. Matthew Stafford. This was on the CBS broadcast. He's the first player since the merger to have four touchdowns and no interceptions in three straight games. Oh my gosh, Matthew Stafford's playing out of his mind. I'm kind of mad at myself because Matthew Stafford was number one in the projections this

week. And I was like, I can't rank him ahead of Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen. So I ranked him at number three and I put Alan and Jackson ahead of him. And why? They're not any good. he has scored 34 point what did he score today let's get 34.9 okay so that's 34.8 I got him at 35.2 but maybe there were some deal downs I missed 34.8 or more in six point for passing touchdown in three straight games I wonder if Loire Jackson's ever done that if Josh

Allen's ever done that I wonder have you taken a look at the top 12 quarterbacks this week not yet actually usually that's what is so Stafford was one golf was two Davis Mills is three, Mac Jones is four, Dylan Gabriel's eight, Tyler Shuck is 10, Marcus Marriota's 11. Yeah. Remember I did a by herself weeks ago that said something like there's no positional advantage to having any quarterback, really. Right.

And Lamar Jackson was the only one that I felt there was. But I don't know, man. I don't know anymore. All right. How about a big winner? Well, the biggest winner, Trey V on Hendon. Can we call him Tray B. N. Henderson? Maybe we should give this guy the football.

Holy cow. Two, both two runs of over 50 yards, right? At the 68-yard touchdown run. 69 yards and 55 yards. And then a lot of one and two and zeros. But still, you cannot put that back in the box. Don't put it back in the box. Heath, I'm going to give you a movie reference.

You're not going to get it. Dave, maybe you'll get the movie reference. What's in the box? What's in the box? Seven. Yeah, there you go. Travion Henderson, let's hope they don't put him back in the box. He was tremendous.

He was started in 71% of leagues, and he's RB2 for the week behind Taylor. And Dave, I think you submitted him as a winner. You think is here to stay or what? Yeah, I think he's at minimum. I'm going to split reps 50-50 when Ramadre comes back. I'm a little worried about him having goal line carries, but this is an awesome offense, and he's an awesome player.

He really showed what he could do. This is all stuff that we knew. I don't know what clicked today. Like this will take watching film to figure out, but just crushing it on the edges, getting in space, hitting the gas, where was this the first nine weeks?

And I think part of it is he just didn't get enough. opportunities and in the last two weeks he's gotten some opportunities he's done great with it this is a great offense and i would imagine that he's still going to be in line for at least half the carries and depending on game flow two to five targets per game so we're getting closer to him being a must start i'm glad he was started in 71 percent of leagues he's a big loser oh there were a lot of them but i would say from my loser list DJ, you need to give me more. Because they gave you zero.

I think they call this a Roma dunce, except he had one more targets, four targets, zero catches, zero yards. This team, like I hope Ben Johnson happens to catch SportsCenter or something tonight and see, oh, look at that fast rookie. Look what happened when they gave him a bunch of touches. Maybe we should do the same thing with Luther Burton. Because Luther Burton picks up 15 yards every time he touches. of football.

And DJ Moore and Alameda Zakias turn eight targets into one catch for 15 yards. Well, I think Zakeas had three drops today. He was almost the reason they lost, basically. He was so bad. I thought that time stood still in the first half because they dropped the same pass in the same place in the end zone. Like I think they were standing on the same pieces of grass dropping the ball. in the end of it.

Yeah, I thought Caleb was playing actually pretty well and had almost nothing to show for it. And then here come the Giants. And they let the Caleb Williams have a pretty good game. But all right, Davey Moore, yeah.

Do you think that DJ Moore was a little bit different in the second half? Because I know he missed a chunk of the second quarter with an injury. I know he came back in essentially finished the game. Wasn't there at the tail end of it. But we're the same number of fantasy points. Yeah. I couldn't say. I couldn't say.

That's fine. I'll just say that he only had, I think he had about a 66% route participation rate. It's usually in the 90s. So just missing some time did hurt him. You know what I'd like to see in 90% of the routes? Alameda Zakiya's on the sideline. Actually, his drops may open the door for burden. I don't think that's out of the question.

All right. So good game for Romo Dunezay, terrible game for everybody else. Colson Loveland was all right. And Caleb Williams does come through. And Jackson Dart came through. And I really think, I don't really think the weather was much of a factor, maybe a little bit. But thankfully, we got, we got the quarterback fantasy points. That's what we were looking for.

Obviously, we'll talk about Dart in a moment. okay look he's gonna lose some touchdowns to Alger it's gonna happen but it hasn't I just want people to know it really hasn't been the case throughout the year they've had very very few carries as a team from that distance so it's not like he's Aljur's the goal line back no sometimes Bijan's there

All right, zero to 10 on Kyron Williams, who, yes, had a great game. 14 carries, 73 yards, and two touchdowns, but Blake Wharham had 13 carries in the game. Zero to 10. 0.5.0. I'm going to go a little higher. I think it's just inherently bad that he's got a guy who's getting a lot of carries. I mean, it's unusual. And obviously, look, this is arguably the best offense in football, right?

I mean, they're right up there. They have incredible efficiency. But there could be some weeks where it gets a little frustrating as you're going, hey, why is Blake Corum getting the goal, getting some goal line work, which he did this week. And I don't know. I mean, look, if Kyron doesn't score, maybe it is a cell super high situation, I guess is what I'm trying to say.

to acquire him or get them on their team and so I don't he came into this game averaging 19 touches per game how many touches he had 17 16 16 16 in another kind of blowout runaway win

in this environment it's not great that he has Blake Corum with this big of a war Seems pretty great. It's going wonderful. 16.7 or more PPR points in four of his last five games. I know. And like 40 in its last two.

And in the first half, he had, hold on, hold on, hold on, 73% of the snaps. No, I don't want to hear this. It had nothing to do with the score. I don't want to hear this. He was the one who was running out the clock. Blake Corum got a lot of work early in the second half. They still used quorum a little bit more than usual, especially in the same. He was still fresh.

She wasn't tired because he didn't have to do all the carries earlier. All right, zero to ten. Jamie, did you get a haircut like a half hour ago? No. Look very sharp. When was this haircut yesterday? Friday. Friday.

Jackson Dart left with a concussion. They get the Packers next week. Giants have a very late buy, so that's not like they would buy any time soon. They would buy week 14, I think. Green Bay next week for the Giants. We'll see. A lot of people are saying it should be James Winston next week

and not Russell Wilson. I could not agree more. No, no, no, no, no. It's going to be Russell. They got the memo. Lose games. No, they're going to have a new coach. They've done a lot of that with Dart anyway.

They've got a new coach. You missed it, Jamie. Azer is calling Brian Daiple will not be employed by the New York Giants 24 hours. That's bold. It's not that bold. Basically, Giants, Twitter, whatever, I mean, there were some rumblings that he's been pretty close to losing his job. I don't know if it's true, but he's, it's it's it's it's, I just, someone tweeted that he's, he's lost three games with a 90 plus percent win probability this year. It's insane.

He's doing his job. Stop, stop. That's so heath of you. He's not losing. Why? Explain to me. Listen, the players want to win. He obviously is trying to save his job.

But what good does it do to win those games? That's a different conversation. He's obviously, they're all trying to win. I mean, you could argue it's better for the franchise for them to lose, but they're trying to win. He's not doing his job. They're trying to win. He's doing his job poorly.

They tell the punter shank the kick. You're not going back. You don't be funny if you kick it with your ankle. The last time, when the season was still, they had a chance to maybe be competitive, he ran into the tent and was ready to fight a trainer to get Jackson Dart back in the field. Yeah, well, now he's kicking field goals

on fourth and goal from the half-yard line. All right, Chris Rodriguez left with a shoulder injury. Terrell Jennings left with an injury in the first half that probably helped Trayvion. And Zonovan Knight left with an ankle injury. Garrett Wilson, hopefully this isn't bad, but he left with a knee injury. That's the same injury that he had earlier.

Same knee, anyway, that he had an injury on earlier. I don't think he played even 20 snaps in the game. Yeah. Well, they barely had the ball. in the first half. And he got hurt early in the third quarter. Some minor wide receiver news. Zay Jones has an Achilles injury.

That could be major news. I just spent for fantasy purposes. And Rashad Bateman has maybe a high ankle sprain. He was in a boot. He doesn't think he'll miss much time. They have Cleveland next week. And then there's Devante Adams. I don't know.

I didn't sense it was serious for Adams guys. We don't know. But he was on the sideline. It was a back issue. Keep our fingers crossed because huge game next week against the Seahawks, baby. Fired up for that. Dave, that's the game of the week.

Just be ready. Yeah. On that subject, someone asked me, what was the origin of the game of the week? And I remember what the first game of the week was, and I've been scouring that week's episodes to find the original clip. I will try my best to find the original game of the week.

I thought the origin was you got banned from doing the bonanza because you run to so many good games, so you came up with a new name to call it. And Heath, one of the clips I, heard was me saying, oh, this is the game of the week. This was back in 2022. And you going, is this your new bonanza? Okay. So I'm trying to find, I think I just sort of imprompt to hit that music and started singing the song. I remember the game and everything. And by the way, the game was 42 to 38. I nailed it. I haven't got it close since. But I'm trying to find the

clip. Dalton Kincaid left with a hamstring injury. And there were some off, not really a lot of offensive line or defensive injury. Thank goodness. It wasn't a bad week in that regard. Well, I mean, the line's got two scares, but they're fine. Yeah. Oh, Graham Glassnow came back? Yes.

Okay. That's good. And the Seahawks Center. The Seahawks at the goal line when he got hurt? Yeah. Okay. All right, so not such a bad injury week. Thankfully, fingers crossed.

Who? Jailen Naylor is currently the number three wide receiver in fantasy. Yeah, you could chase that. Go ahead. Parker Washington? No, we should talk about him a little bit. No, we shouldn't. Jalen Naylor?

Jalen Ehler, last two weeks, has had some good chemistry with McCarthy. All right, well, we talking about him. Now, obviously, the numbers weren't great last week. He didn't even have three fantasy points. But he's on the radar. I'm not picking him up. No, I'm not picking him up.

I'm just saying, like, I feel like he's been doing well with McCarthy, better than Addison. I didn't need to type this into the translator, but I'm going to say, no me gusto Jalen Naylor I'm not again not saying

to pick him up just saying to keep an eye on them but we talked about my talk out of my Tuesday there you go all right that's a it's a I don't know

well I've been asking I think Parker Washington is he was number but one of the top guys last week he had a big game a big is game as of now he's 43% rostered

Darius Slaten let's see what Slaten's roster percentage oh well if it darts out, 44%. So those guys could be a bit. Not if it's James.

If it's James, then, yeah, all systems go. All right. Let's talk about the winners and the losers. Davey, Trevianne Henderson, we talked about. How about Woody Marks? Give me those snap counts for Woody Marks. Impressive stuff. The snap counts for Woody Marks were awesome.

78% of the snaps, 10 of 15 on third down, all four of their snaps inside the five. Houston still is using four running backs every week, but Chub only played 14. percent of the snaps, Ogunbo Wale and Brooks combined for 10 percent. This was Woody Mark's backfield. And it was great, and he was efficient running the football and had a great game overall. I am hoping that it keeps up for the Texans.

Let's hope so they are at Tennessee next week. So that could be good for Woody Marks. Jamie, so you always put your start of the week in this segment. I know it's a little weird to call Jackson Dart, a winner with the concussion, but he did come through. I mean, he was having a great game, 26.3 fantasy points in about. three quarters and hopefully back for Green Bay, if not at Detroit, at New England, not easy stuff, but it doesn't seem to matter with him. And then you also had Kate Otten as a winner.

I got to tell you, I was so nervous with the weather that it was going to be a bad day for DART. And even for Caleb Williams, too. And look, they did great things with their legs. Clearly, this is another strong game for Darts rushing totals. It's now every start, either 55 yards rushing or a touchdown under the case of today over that number for both. So, but I thought he threw the ball well. You know, at one point he was, I think, 11 for 12 for $199 in the first half. He's just, he's a great fantasy quarterback. We'll see what, you know, continues to, you know, go for him, go well for him the rest of this season. But, like, you got to be thrilled as a dynasty manager.

You got to be thrilled as a long-term keeper league that what he can be with, with Malik neighbors and whatever the coaching staff looks like next year. Like, there's just a huge upside, huge future for this kid. Cade Otten, 44% started, 71% rostered. He had a 28% target share. That's higher than what we usually get from Kate Otton. But man, did he come through? Nine catches, 82 yards on 12 targets.

Still hasn't scored a touchdown yet. So we'll see when that starts to happen. But, I mean, look, as long as Mike Evans remains out, it's kind of been the formula for him in the last two seasons. And obviously, Chris Godwin, not coming back for the rest of this month, most likely. So he should continue to be heavily involved. It was good to see Ted Johnson get the two touchdowns. It was good to see a Macabuca score and have a big game.

So you know what the pass catcher is going to be for this buck's offense. And the run game has really been struggling for them. So defense has been struggling for them too. So we're going to get probably a lot of Baker-Mayfield passing performances, and that's going to benefit all three of those guys. But clearly K.D. Now is in the must-start conversation at this position. They're at Buffalo next week.

You don't think that's going to be a high-scoring game? Yeah, absolutely. Buffalo is really good against tight ends, though. I don't care with him. Okay. Matcha proof. Heath, your winners. Alvin Camara, I'm actually surprised he was 55% started.

It felt high to me. He's going into a buy, but nice game for him. He got one chance near the goal line. Then on the next play, Tassum Hill was in. That's always going to be an issue. But tell me what you want to say about Alvin Camara. And then Joanne Jennings is only 69% rostered, and he had six catches. 71 yards and a touchdown.

Yeah, I think for Camara, like he was, I think most people would have rather dropped him than started him this week. The last two weeks had been absolutely abysmal. They seemed to be looking for anybody else to play at running back or to hand the ball off to than him. And then they give him 22 carries and the offense looks functional. And there's a chance that he makes it to one of the greatest schedule stretches of all times where he gets to play the dolphins in week 13,

and then the Buccaneers, which isn't so good, and then the Panthers, the Jets, and the Titans. So maybe Alvin Camara will be a guy you want to start at Flex. And I'm changing it up

because we send in our winners and losers during the late games. And I think I missed a note, but Dan Campbell confirmed after the game that he took over offensive play calling duty for this game. And I don't know if you remember who the guy was this summer that just kept talking about the guy,

the guy they had to get the ball more, Jamison Williams. Well, guess what? James led the team in catches and receiving yards. Dan Campbell's calling place. Jameson Williams, big winner. Oh, interesting. You feel good about starting them, let's say, next week. Oh, I feel great if he's my number three.

Yeah, sure. At Philadelphia, tough matchup. Shootout, though. Broadway shoot out. Is he a top 24 receiver? I only got two teams on a buy. He's certainly closer. So I think Adam, we spoke about him, whatever it was, Thursday or Friday.

You had said, I think we all had him like around 36, 37 range. I led my sleepers column with him. I moved him up to the wide receiver right behind the Cleo Shakir spot. So I think he'll be in the top 30. Yeah, I'm just wondering if we should be thinking more along the cell high lens with him because it was the commanders in the, I think, I think the commanders are the worst past defense in football. I mean, they're right up there.

Currently, yeah. Commander's defense got past. That will exist. That's how bad the commanders are. I mean, they might be worse, but it doesn't matter. I mean, they're obviously one of the worst, if not the worst. Have we ever had three defenses that are just obviously this incredibly bad? Like the Cowboys, bingles, and commanders,

it's just like anybody that's playing against them, start them. Cowboys will be interesting to see moving forward now that they've potentially improved their run defense. I'm going to put the Jets in that category now because I know they didn't necessarily shut down the Browns, but they're going to be bad. The Giants are there too. Yeah.

Well, not until the fourth quarter, but yeah. Okay, Jameson Williams, let a ride. 63% started, big game. I feel like it was mostly in the second half. Maybe I'm crazy. Yes, no, you're right. A lot of it did come in the second half. half and they left for what it's worth they left him in with kyle allen yeah and whatever it's

worth two games since the buy 16.6 23.9 ppr just i i don't want to forget it but um you said about camara the schedule is the dolphins run defense still a pushover because two of their last three they shut down bison robinson and and james cook not to be that guy i feel like they haven't so much on a per carry basis. I'm not sure. I think it's been kind of like a low amount of carries. I could be wrong about that.

Cook was 4.1 today. And what was Bejohn? Whatever. 4.0.1 is bad for Cook, though. Yeah. Bejohn was terrible. Yeah, 9 for 25.

So I apologize. Nine carries for 25. All right, two question worth asking. Also, I would point out with Camara, he had a horrible game against the Bears. He had a horrible game against the Giants. he scored 11.2 fantasy points against Buffalo.

I'm not saying that I want to start him. I'm just saying like I was just actively searching for any backup running back. I could rank ahead of him this week because I didn't want to start him. I get it. And you got to feel a little better about him now. No, no, no. I'm not just when you said the Miami matchup, it just stuck out to me. Like they've potentially turned a corner to some degree.

If he had stunk again this week, we would have talked about cutting him before the buy. We're going into the buy. now I don't think you I don't think he's a slam dunk cut anybody would have picked him up if they saw him on waivers too all right losers you would have been okay with that if he had scored two points today and had five touches or whatever I don't know I went through some leagues and picked up Isaiah Pacheco just because

like just to see I know that name just because you want to torture yourself you know what Jamie once bought a couch from me now he's getting Isaiah Pacheco for me Sure. Talk about the couch. All right, losers. Heath, Kyle Pitts, and DJ Moore. He talked about DJ Moore.

Kyle Pitts. Oh, he was open. Pennix. Wide open, dude. You underthrew him. It was a touchdown. Come on. Yeah, I don't think Michael Pennix is very good.

Amongst other quarterbacks, Thomas may or not have been ranting about earlier. But, no, it was just a really disappointing game to have 5.8 points and get out targeted by Darnell Mooney. and we really kind of as much as Drake London dominates this passing game and as much as they want to run the football, I think we need pits to be the clear number two in Atlanta to be a clear fantasy starter. I think when you go back and watch this, it happened last week. They're using him a little bit more as an inline side end again. Oh, I don't like that. Yep.

So actually, no, well, that's not 100% true for me because I think he was being used out wide. too much in previous seasons. So they did put him in line, you know, in line, like on the line of streamage, basically. More this year than in the past. They shortened his A dot quite a bit. This, I can only remember two targets this game.

I know he had five or four or five. One was the deep ball that was underthrown. One was the ball he dropped right at the beginning of the game. Yeah. So he didn't get his typical really short area, easy catch, easy PPR, cheap points, uh, targets today. But I think the issue for me,

It was such a good matchup. The Colts were so bad against tight ends. And the Falcons were really good against tight ends. And look what happened. Warren had an amazing game. Not that we were sitting, Warren. All right. Jamie, your losers are James Cook and Rashad White.

I think he's a bad game for Cook. The only thing I'm concerned about is, you know, we had the injury concern coming into the week. Is he 100%. This, I think everybody thought it should be a layout. If there is an encouraging thing, it's the five for 24. You get him more involved in the passing game.

So there's a bylaw opportunity here if somebody is upset about James Cook and wants to sell him because of this bad game. But, you know, just really, sometimes we've got to highlight the stars when they struggle, and this is just a bad game for him. In the case of Rashad White, you know, you expected him to struggle on the ground. I was expecting a much better game in the passing, much more involved in the passing game. So five catch is nice. 16 yards is terrible. Like, the Patriots have been so bad against past catching running backs the last month. And for him to be, to hit, for him to get five catches and only get 16 yards was just very, very frustrating.

So Sean Tucker is going to be a problem for him until Bucky Irvin comes back. I think they're going to use both guys. So we went from potentially, hey, here's the lottery ticket because Bucky Irving's out to now it's a mess. It's the second game in a row for Tampa where Tucker was near Rashad in terms of carries. but not playing time. Rashad White still dominated the playing time. 71% of the snaps dominated third down, two of three snaps inside the 10.

But you just watch these guys play and you can see that one is just clearly more explosive than the other. Tucker had a number of good runs today. And you just wonder if Tampa, if they make the switch and they lean on Tucker more on the running downs and white more on the passing downs instead of putting so much on white. I would be nervous about Rashad White moving forward for sure.

It could all be for naught if Bucky comes back next week. Yeah, but we don't know when that's happening. We have got no indication that that's going to happen. You're coming up by the fact that he hasn't practiced is not great. Yeah. All right, Dave, your losers were Jordan Addison, who actually had 11 targets. I know. Three catches for 35 yards.

And Daniel Jones, who scored 17.5 fantasy points in an overtime win against Atlanta. Well, I'll start with Jones. This is the second week in row where pressure really impacted him. Three fumbles, one loss. He had an interception at the end of the first half. I don't know if that's really that big of a deal. But here's the problem for fantasy managers. He's got to buy this week.

Then he's at Kansas City and versus Houston. And I don't know if I'm ready to start Daniel Jones as confidently in those games as I might have before two weeks ago. He's got Seattle a couple weeks after that. I'm going to need a quarterback anyway just to get through this week if Daniel Jones has been my starter. It might need to be somebody who I depend on for a while because I'm not sure if I'm ready to go right back to Daniel Jones after the buy, just assuming that he's going to work all these things out. Since you brought him up, this was going to be my Colts, Falcons, believe it or not.

So Daniel Jones is drovable. I think in smaller leagues, he absolutely is. It's the 12-team leagues. I think I still want to try to carry him. But it depends. If my bench is great, I'll drop Daniel Jones to get a quarterback who I think I can start rest of season.

Or another position. I mean, he could be one of two quarterback. You could have, there's so many good quarterbacks right now. The only thing I'll say is there's another team that is looking like just an amazing matchup for quarterbacks, and that's Jacksonville. Guys are killing Jacksonville. Matthew Stafford, 37.4, Gino Smith, 34.3. Davis Mills was about 30 points today, and Daniel Jones has them twice before the season's over, including, I believe, in the fantasy championship. So that's just something to keep in mind.

And Addison, yeah, what I do with him? And a little bit of J.J. McCarthy with Addison, although more people. we're starting Addison, McCarthy. 11 targets. You love that. I didn't like all the off target throws from McCarthy, not just to Addison, but throughout the game.

Addison had five of his targets in the fourth quarter, and only caught one of them. I thought McCarthy had taken a step forward last week, and he started this game strong too. He overthrew Justin Jefferson on deep balls twice for interceptions. Jefferson slipped on one of them. He missed Jefferson a bunch deep today. And between those targets and then the big play late by Jalen Naylor,

who I thought looked good with McCarthy the last couple of weeks. It's just more so this week than last week. I don't know how good I can feel about starting Addison as a high-end flex. We've already talked about Jamison Williams, how he's gotten more involved over the last two weeks. That's an easy guy to start ahead of Jordan Addison. And then the last point on Addison, his best games came when Carson Wentz was quarterback. And now here we are.

One of the biggest words we had about McCarthy was he doesn't throw a lot. Well, he had a ton of attempts in this game, over 40. and still not really a great game for Jefferson or Addison in the matchup because McCarthy himself stunk. So there's a lot of variables here that make me nervous to even start Justin Jefferson. I'm going to keep starting Justin Jefferson. And I told you, I'll keep an eye on Jaylen Naylor, maybe the deepest of leagues. I would consider putting them on a bench.

But Addison's the one that I'm not sure I'm ready to go back to as a flex next week. Weeks 14, 15, and 16 for Minnesota. Washington at Dallas at the Giants You know, it's enticing Personally, I don't think the Giants Are anywhere near Washington and Dallas In terms of that passing matchup But not when they're healthy

Not when they're healthy And yeah, not in New York And right and those teams right now Are 28th, 31st, and 27th Against wide receivers All right Well, this is a very interesting week for McCarthy Because he's getting the Bears at home

And the Bears are not a very good defense right now So, you know, are we going to see the three games that McCarthy had prior to today, where he was under 28 past temps in all three of those, or we're going to see him throw 42 times like he did today? And I would probably say we're going to see closer to under 30 at least. And so I didn't like Addison coming into this game because of the volume potential, because that's what we've, I think, seen enough of with what O'Connell wanted to do with. to do with McCarthy. And I didn't think McCarthy played particularly great last week. And he's very jumping in the pocket. And you saw that on the deep balls.

Like he doesn't set his feet. He's jumping on throws. We did today. Yeah. And that I don't know if that'll be an issue next week because the pressure won't be as much of a problem for him. Aaron Jones deserves credit as a winner. I don't know if you talked about him at the start of the show, Adam.

But he's playing a lot more in Jordan Mason. He's looking great as long as he's healthy. a must start running back. And the Vikings could end up using him a lot against Chicago. Okay. Let's take a break and we'll give you the goal line work, the almost touchdowns and a recap of each game. By the way,

there was one running back injury that I forgot about. It was J.K. Dobbins. J.K. Dobbins has this foot injury. That game was Thursday, obviously, but that's going to be potentially pretty impactful. We'll see what the scenario is there. But, yeah, I just want to bring that up. I get the Trevion Harvey League winners to close the season,

potentially i know all right we'll be right back all right big goal line stuff if i had a guess i'm going to say devon singletary is probably more likely to be working at the goal line than tracy yep it was that way today too yep i mentioned camara got one chance from the two yard line then tasem hill came in uh so justice hill had a one-yard touchdown run they went hurry up there so hill benefited and fantasy managers did not what about the one play with mark andrews lining up a quarterback and flipping it to mar jackson that was fine Oh, I didn't even see that. It wasn't a great flip or a great pitch.

No, not a great point. Yeah. Seattle. So Ken Walker, it seems like the three-yard line. Ken Walker owns the three-yard line. But once they get to the one, it's Zach Sharbon-A territory. So he better score when he gets those carries from the three-yard line. I think that's three of them in the last two games. Rams used both of their guys near the goal line.

I've sat there charting the Patriots at the goal line. Trayvion Henderson. He's in. He's getting this way. I didn't realize that Terrell Jennings had left the game at that point. And then Bam Knight, again, it seemed like Bam Knight got hurt, but it seems like DeMarcato might get more touches.

Might. Actually, I don't even think that was the case this game, but Bam Knight is in there near the goal line short yardage. Almost touchdowns. I don't know if I really want to go through all this, but I guess the biggest ones would be the bears. I mean, Caleb Williams had a few almost touchdowns early in the game.

Trey McBride had a huge game, but he had a touchdown call back. Michael Panix under through Kyle Pitts, drove me crazy. All right, that's it. Let's go to the games. Jacobi had one called back. Jacobi had, oh, that's right. And then Parker, Washington caught a touchdown two plays later.

That's, I knew I had that. Yeah, it was false start called back that penalty, right? All right. Indianapolis 21, Atlanta 16. We've talked a lot about this game already, but since they're both guys who could be on the fringe going in Dubai's, Pollock Pierce should be rostered in more leagues than Josh Downs. Would you say the final score this game was?

Didn't sound right when I said it. 3125? That's the final score. 2116. I was like, that's all the points they scored. Went to overtime and Taylor scored three touchdowns. Hard to win by five in overtime. Is there a game that had that score?

2116. As soon as I said it. All right. Say it again, Heath. Alec Pierce should be rostered in more leagues than Josh Downs, and he's not currently. Sure. Yeah. I'll believe it.

Okay. Should we hold? I think we need to sort of talk about what our hesitation is with Alec Pierce. And it's just season after season of occasional big plays helping them have good weeks. and then like long valleys of him getting two for 20 or three for 17 and just now as he's starting to finally break out in a way where fantasy managers want to trust him and so I have some trust issues with him I like the talent but it's I don't know if I'm racing to start him I don't think I can call him a must start guy well I think when you put him in the same category as for whatever you

think of these guys, but Tess Johnson, Darius Slayton, Jamo? Yeah, I'm right. Jamo, you want to put him there? Yeah, I was going to say, like, you know, what we've seen from two or three games of, of D.K., and two or three games of Iow Manor and maybe now Xavier Worthy, like these guys that are just not consistent, but have the chance to make big players or not.

The thing for Pierce is it almost as, it coincides when Josh Downs had the concussion. Three of his last four games, he's been very good. and so can it be sustainable? So to Heath's, believe it or not, like is this now where we're moving the, you know, the needles moving more toward Pearson away from Downs? And that's hard to say after Downs had scored two touchdowns each the last two weeks.

So I think it's just going to be inconsistent for probably both those guys. But if you're looking for who has more upside, I think Pierce definitely has more upside. We're playing who has more. Do you believe it or not? I'm sorry. Go ahead.

Oh, no, I was saying we're playing who has more. Who has more upside? Yeah. Believe it or not, Alec Pierce is going to get seven targets most weeks like he has in three of his last four. Because if you're going to tell, if you're going to believe that, then he's more than just one of these roulette wheel wide receivers. He's someone that you can probably start as a low end number two. Well, I mean, I think Slayton is in that category. I think.

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I agree. But I kind of like them better than most of the names you said. I don't, you know, I think it probably comes down to a week to week basis. And we just got through saying how bad the short term schedule is for the Colts plus or on a buy. I just think in the case of the Colts right now they don't have DeForest Buckner for at least the next three games and while Soss Gardner improves the secondary like their defense could be bad

and so we could see more shootouts coming for the goal. Okay, by the way Soss Gardner yeah I mean I wouldn't really say he shadowed Drake London they did like Dave kind of mentioned earlier they moved London into the slot enough to get Soss off of him and on the other side, AJ Terrell,

if you're wondering what happened to Michael Pittman, I think it was just a bad game. It was not an AJ Terrell thing. He was definitely not shadowing him. So just kind of one of those games, I think, for Pittman. All right.

And on over to our next game. Baltimore 27, Minnesota 19. Zay Flowers is just a low-end, wide receiver two, and we have to stop ranking him so high. I don't believe it. He's a wide receiver three. Wow.

Yeah, he's not. definitely not that top 15 receiver that we thought he'd be. He'll have another big game at some point along the way. You know, I've thought a lot about this because we talk about him a lot and we argue a little bit about him. And I get your argument. It's like, this keeps happening to Zayflowers. He's having productive games, but he never scores. But there has to be some touchdown regression coming. Eventually, he's got to. In what year? But even if he ends up with four, what does he have now? One? right right is he going to have a two touchdown season i can't they throw enough touchdowns

where i just at least lamar does where i just feel like he could have three touchdowns over his last seven games whatever's left and that would that would be important impactful i mean look in in ppr he's probably right he's more more of a low end number two receiver i i don't nobody's benching him in three receiver leagues for sure and in two receiver leagues it probably depends on who you have in non ppr it's it's hard to say he's a must start guy by any stretch And in half PPR, he's a borderline starter. Well, who's more valuable in full PPR? So I think it's easier in the other formats.

Derek Henry or Zay Flowers? I'm starting Henry almost 10 out of 10 over Zay Flowers. It's getting a little frustrating with Derek Henry, though. It's very frustrating with him. I guess the disappointing game from Flowers today was better than Henry. Yeah, I mean, Henry obviously doesn't really care. In PPR, sure. But that Justice Hill touchdown was a real kick in the gut.

Dave talked about Eric Henry was not happy at halftime, by the way. Would you take Drake London over Justin Jefferson rest of the season? Yes. Yep. Yeah. Would you take Nico Collins over Justin Jefferson? Is Davis Mills a starter? No.

Nor do they playing Jacksonville every week. Yeah, but they're playing Tennessee this week. So yes, I would take Nico Collins over Justin. I think I would take. of season? Yes. Oh, interesting. I'm not quite there.

Oh, yeah. Believe it or not, Keon Coleman is back now. Believe it or not, I don't have a good one. Believe it. Believe it or not, the Ron A chance is the number one

running back in fantasy wrestling season. No. If you'd been number one this week, it would be a better one. Believe it or not. Khalil Shakir is worse than Zay Flowers rest of season.

I mean, okay, so Tahit's Henry versus Flowers to make Shakir was better than him today. Would you rather have? Flowers are Shakir? I mean, Flowers has more upside, but Shakir just continues to do what he does.

Why receiver 30? His neighborhood is perfect. Believe it or not, Tua is a startable fantasy quarterback for the next three games they have. To Washington, then who? At Washington, by New Orleans, at the Jets. Oh.

Yeah. And then Cincinnati in week 16. Could this be a quarterback that you pivot to to start replacing Daniel Jones? You'll have a conundrum in two weeks, but at least one week you'll be good. They had every opportunity to quit on Mike McDaniel, and they won their Super Bowl today.

Yeah, it was a big win with them. I think they'd lost seven in a row. I'd like to see where Jalen Waddle ranks since week five. That was his first game. I got it. I got you. Yeah. Where does he rank since the Tyree Kill injury?

Tyree Kill got hurt in week four. Total per game. Per game. He's averaged 16 fantasy points per game, including week five. Yeah. Which is wide receiver 15. That's great because, you know, we were pretty high on him after that injury, and it doesn't always work out.

And this team's a total mess. but they still give us H.N. and Waddle pretty much every week. All right. New England, 28, Tampa Bay, 23. I think probably the thing that we don't know, but I'm going to make everybody answer. Believe it or not, Trayvion Henderson took the starting job away from Ramandre Stevenson today. Believe it. I don't believe it. I actually don't.

Jamie, why do you believe it? Well, I mean, the starting job is irrelevant. Like, who gets the first carry is meaningless. Who's going to get more touches the rest of season? It's going to be Trevian Henderson. Rest of season when Stevens comes back. This was a very good run defense prior to the start of this game. All right, Dave, why don't you believe it?

Well, I just think Ramadre is going to continue to be the token starter. But it's going to be close in terms of carries from which we... Jamie's right. It doesn't matter who starts each game. But I think it'll be close in carries. I don't think it'll be close in carries inside the five. I think that's still going to be Ramandre's territory. And this was an example of a game where Travion was open in the flats a lot,

and I thought Drake May was going to check down a lot, and he didn't. Drake May just kept attacking downfield, and that just might have been an edict in the game or his guys were getting open. May obviously had a pretty good game for fantasy managers, but there will be future games. We saw one last week for Trayvon, where he made an impact catching the ball out of the backfield. They've got to just find ways to use them in space and get them the ball closer to the tackles and outside of the tackle box. And when they do that, they're going to have more games like this. And so Henderson isn't going to be a feature back where he's got whatever I said,

70 some odd percent of the snaps when Ramadre's back. But he's still going to be pretty good. I think you could argue that Trayvon Henderson could be a league winner or Trayvon Henderson is the best sell high in fantasy. You know, the guy I kept thinking of today and I hate to say, say it because of the turn it's taken for him this year. But it was Ken Walker. As in, as in he'll, no matter how good he is, he's still going to have the Charbonnet to him. Not just that, but he had 14 carries. Two of them went for 124 yards. 12 of them went for 23 yards. Yeah. A lot of them were one, two, negative. I looked at the yardage for every one of his carries. You were 100% right. And how many of them were between the tackles? I would imagine

it was a bunch of them. One of the big ones was. Yeah, sure. That's true too. I remember that play because he like kind of like paused for like a split second after he ran through the hole and like realized no one's touching him. And off he went. He hit the gas.

Awesome speed. I do think it'll be close between him and Ramadre from week to week. More upside. Would you more of a sell or a hold for Vermont for Trayvion? I wouldn't trade Trayvion away unless someone's going to give me a lot. for them. Not like a huge amount. We'd have to gauge that somehow. But high end

RB2 value at minimum in trade is what I'd probably have Swift rest of season. I'd rather have Swift. Swift. Okay. But I don't think Swift is a high end number two running back rest of the season. I think he's better than that. Interesting.

All right. So what about, let's say, what about Tess Johnson? Is this just, let's ride this out? I mean, he didn't have probably if you could sell him for a definite starter, I think that would be a really good move. Okay, he had two touchdowns today.

Only five targets. Baker Mayfield had through 43 passes. All right. Stefan Diggs, 70% started, came through, wasn't necessarily pretty, but he caught the touchdown. And, uh, right, I think that's it for that game.

Let's go to Chicago and the Giants. Chicago 24, Giants 20. The only thing, than Adam's backup running back wariometer was the fact that he didn't include D'Andre Swift on it. Yes. Yeah, good call. I didn't include Ken Walker because I don't even know who the backup is there technically.

No, but this was the backup. I was surprised because Ben Johnson said, we're going to go with the hot hand approach. And if you look at the touches, Henderson did have a lot more touches. But even in the second half after Swift had been much better than Monongai, it was right back to every other. their drive. Swift looked great in the first half. Yep. Sure.

Menangai looked good on one drive. I don't think Swift is better than a high-end RB2 because I don't think he's going to be a 70% snaps guy. It wasn't today. 61%. There you go. Well, it's interesting.

Yeah, Menangai, you think this kind of still has an important role? unfortunately. I don't know. This was a game the Bears were playing from behind in the second half.

They were down 10. So I don't have the second half splits, but I would imagine Swift played more. He had five catches. He had eight targets. But he was almost as bad

on his catches. Actually, he's worse on his targets than Rajad White was. Sure, but it's still five catches and eight targets that Kyle Mononga is not getting.

Menonga had one target, zero catches. And he had way more cares. This is the biggest discrepancy in touches between these two running backs in their last three games together. So I still think that Swift is the preferred back here. And I could see him being better than Monongai,

game after game after game, as long as they're together. It's going to take matchups where you just feel like going in, the bears are going to blow out their opponent, where you can feel confident starting Monongai. And I do think, I don't know if Swift is a low end RB1. Can I middle it in time? How can it be better than high in RB2 and not be a low in every one? I don't know.

Maybe I got a little too excited over Swift. But I do think that he's, let's call it top 15, maybe like exactly 12. Okay. Real quick on the Giants side, Theo Johnson had a good. You know what? I think let's just pause on the Giants because we've got to see if Dart. You know, let's assume Dart misses one game. Believe it or not, like that play lost in the game and his playing style is going to change

because of it. Well, I don't think it will that much. I mean, maybe a little, but he just can't, he just doesn't have right now. He's not Josh Allen. I mean, I read an article about him before his first start where his high school coach said something like, I tried, good luck in regards to him changing his, he's just a madman out there. And a lot of it is good, but he just goes too far. All right, let's go to, I shouldn't say that. Look, everybody can change.

Who would you rather have Romo Dunezay or Chris Olaave? Oh, Dunezay because it was quarterback, but I mean, I don't know what more Alave has to do based on his body work the season. Okay. 14 plus PPR points in four of his last five games.

If we don't hold week nine against him, I think we're putting him ahead of O'Donzei rest of season. And we shouldn't hold week night against Adunzee either. He had a dud, yet a donut. I'll hold it against both of them. Go ahead. Olave's been better. He's been better.
