Let's get those lineups set for Fantasy Week 10.
A lot to tell you about right now on FFT in 5.
What's up? Good morning, everybody.
Ready to get a win?
Big, big week.
Adam Azer and Heath Cummings here.
We got so many injuries to update you on,
but Heath, let me get your take on the Robert Woods ACL tear.
Unfortunately, out for the season.
They've got a Monday night game at San Francisco.
Odell Beckham is going to play.
Jamie and I kind of talked about it
from a season-long standpoint
on a bonus show yesterday.
It's only on YouTube
if you're looking for that.
It's not a podcast.
Only on YouTube.com
slash Fantasy Football Today.
But just give me your thoughts
for Week 10 on the Rams.
Yeah, I mean,
if Odell Beckham's going to play,
then I think you view him
as a borderline number two
wide receiver this year
and rest of season. If there was ever a hope for him to getting back to being a top 12 wide receiver that's
exactly what Robert Woods had been this year I believe number 12 in full PPR and there's now
target opportunity there's now offensive creativity there's now a quarterback who can get him the ball
it's it's everything Beckham could have asked for. And what about Van Jefferson? Who do you like better this week, Jefferson or Beckham?
I would probably go Beckham over Jefferson.
I don't get the, and this could be wrong,
I don't think Jefferson's going to find himself
in a high-volume role.
He might have a week like that where that's what
the defense gives them, but not regularly.
So I'll still view him as a boom-bust flex.
He's only 63% rostered Van Jefferson. So
I think it's at least worth adding him and seeing what happens. 63% roster and Robert Woods,
69 targets in nine games, 19 in his last two games. But there were a lot of games where he's
getting four to six targets. In fact, there were five of those games throughout the season.
Okay. We turn our attention out of the Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger out this week.
How does that change things for,
for,
for Deontay Johnson and Pat Frymuth?
Well,
Vegas does think it matters a little bit.
I think they lost two and a half,
three points off of their implied total.
So maybe Vegas thinks Mason Rudolph is only 90% of Ben Roethlisberger.
It didn't have a huge impact on my projections.
Roethlisberger, you know how much I love yards per attempt.
He hasn't been above 6.7 yards per attempt since 2018.
That's really bad.
Mason Rudolph for his career at 6.4 yards per attempt.
I think it's a slight downgrade for Johnson, but I'm still starting him everywhere.
It's a slight downgrade for Friar
Ruth, but he's a tight end. If you were planning on starting him, you probably still are. I would
start Friar Ruth over Dan Arnold, Tyler Conklin, that type of borderline number one tight end.
What about Noah Fant? I got that question last night. It was a tough one. First,
I said Friar Ruth. I said, nah, actually, let's go with Noah Fant. But I mean,
Fant's got this dream matchup, but we haven't really seen a lot of him, Sutton,
Judy, Patrick. So who do you go with there? I would probably just still go
with Fire Muth. I feel more confident in Fire Muth's targets than I do Fant's right now.
Alright, Zach Moss is going to play. Let's do some running backs here. Zach Moss is going to play.
Chris Carson is out. And Clyde Edwards-Ziller, unlikely, but that is
a Sunday night game. So you could kind of get hosed there, but it seems like Clyde Edwards-Zehler, unlikely, but that is a Sunday night game.
So you could kind of get hosed there,
but it seems like Clyde Edwards-Zehler is going to be out.
Damian Harris is out, but we'll do the Patriots a little separately
because they have a kind of if situation.
But you look at Buffalo, you look at Seattle, you look at Kansas City.
What's your level of confidence in the running backs there?
I'm probably going to start Darrell Williams
as a low-end borderline number two running back I
think in full PPR these guys all rank somewhere between 23rd and 31st for me and I would go
Williams over Moss over Collins um I would like to think that I have two better starting running
backs but they're not bad flexes you like so you like Williams better than Collins? I do. Okay. Uh, Collins over Moss.
No, I like Moss over Collins. Like Moss over Collins. Okay. Uh, it's, I mean, it's been pretty
bad lately for the bills running backs. Hopefully they catch a lot of passes against the jets. They
all do that. Hopefully they score a touchdown against the jets. Pretty much all of them do
that to all the running backs. They face aris godwin expected to play would you start him
and any interest now in tyler johnson much less interest in tyler johnson i would put him behind
van jefferson i've got him behind james washington so i i would rather start those guys i i'm probably
i'm kind of treating godwin a little bit like deontay johnson if he's out there i'm going to
play him all right mark ingram i'm assuming, is a must-start.
Yeah. There's so many now of the running backs that have jumped up into that group that
I could definitely see a situation where you're not starting him.
But I would start him over... I've got him in full PPR ahead of Deionis Johnson.
And non-PPR, I have Johnson ahead of Ingram.
I got to ask you about... By the way, we just got an update on remand. Ray Stevenson. That'll be
the last thing we talk about, but what do you think about the Jaguars backfield right now?
Cause that's when we don't know about James Robinson status. Yeah, I've, I've got currently
Robinson projected to play, but he's not a must start. I've got him around RB 20. Um, I would
start Mark Ingram. I would start
Dearness Johnson. Depending on
what you tell me about Ramondre Stevenson, I might
start a Patriots running back over him.
Okay, Ramondre Stevenson is in.
He's expected to play, so he's going to play.
If Stevenson's playing
and Harris is out, which is what we're expecting
now, I
think we'll see Stevenson
behind Ingram and Dearness johnson but ahead of
james robinson josh jacobs uh melvin gordon giovante williams so a mid-range number two
running back now i haven't run the projections yet but that's that's my best guess okay it's
interesting because you know when when harris and stevenson have played lately brandon boldens had
basically no role uh because ste Stevenson gets some catches.
But now I wonder if Stevenson is more Damian Harris,
maybe gets one catch, and Bolden is a viable PPR flex at least,
but I'm not really willing to risk it.
I have Bolden in several leagues.
All right, that is your Sunday morning update.
A lot of stuff going on here.
Good luck to you.
Get those lineups.
You're going to need like 45 minutes to do it. And good luck. We'll talk to you tonight, 8.15
