We've got a lot to get to, so let's get to it right now on Fantasy Football Today in 5.
Good morning.
It has been a wild few days in the fantasy football world.
We're here to help you set your lineups.

We'd really appreciate it.
I'm Adam Azer.
I'm joined by Heath Cummings.
He has made a lot of projections updates.
It has been wild. But first of all, Heath, how are you
dealing with your Steelers
and Ravens? Are you putting them in your lineups and
expecting them to get the game in?
I am hopeful that I don't have
to. Like right now, I think
that there's a better chance they play on Tuesday
than don't play on Tuesday. So I'm not
saying that you definitely shouldn't use
them, but it's a matchup between two very good defensive clubs.
Now, they may not have all their good defensive players.
Both teams have been impacted offensively
by the COVID list in one way or another.
I really don't want to.
The hardest place, obviously, is with the tight ends,
Mark Andrews and Eric Ebron, and I'm probably just starting them. Although what I might do
is roster one of Jacob Hollister or Will Disley or Richard Rogers. And if you get to Monday and
there's still any uncertainty at all and you only need a couple points to win, just plug those guys
in. That's a great idea you
know kyle rudolph is only rostered in 13 of leagues but irv smith is out adam phelan is out
and i'm honestly i picked him up in a couple leagues this morning where i have mark andrews
and i might just prefer him to mark andrews i'm not sure how i feel about that yet heath because
rg3 is a quarterback so i i you know i'm i'm just less obviously less excited about
andrews to begin
with but i want to throw that name out there if you need a tight end kyle rudolph has a nice
opportunity against carolina this week uh all right kendall hinton could play some quarterback
will apparently play some quarterback broncos are hinton that he will be the start there you go he's
wide receiver eligible where is he in your wide receiver rankings um he is projected for nine fantasy points he has not worked his way into
my wide receiver rankings as you can tell this morning um he's going to be in the 40s still
this is this broncos team has an implied total of 10.5 this morning. I have never seen, like, through all the things the Jets
have pulled off over the years, I don't recall an over-under being that low.
He didn't get any practices, really, with the team as the number one
quarterback, and Royce Freeman is expected to play some plays
at quarterback as well. So I would like
to not use any Broncos.
Yeah, and he's not going to catch any passes most likely, too.
So in a PPR league, it's kind of weird.
It's like he's almost worse because you don't expect a ton of passing.
He's definitely worse in PPR than he is in non-PPR.
Yeah, no, I mean, he's just worse than you might think.
Oh, I've got to get this wide receiver in my line.
He's playing quarterback.
Well, he's not going to catch.
In all likelihood, he's not going to catch passes.
All right, so we've got Benny Snell, Anthony McFarlane filling in for Connor.
We've got Gus Edwards and Justice Hill.
We've got Naeem Hines and Jordan Wilkins.
We've got Brian Hill and Ido Smith.
We've got Nat Breida.
I don't know what they're going to do at running back for the Dolphins.
We've got Royce Freeman, and Kendall Hinton is not a running back,
but he's a wide receiver.
He's a flex option here.
Who are you excited about among these replacement running backs this week?
I'm pretty excited about Brian Hill.
He's shown a little bit more juice than Todd Gurley running between the 20s.
He's pretty good as a pass catcher.
It's a good matchup against the Raiders.
Both teams have, I think that game has an over-under of 54,
one of the highest on the slate.
And so I'm the most excited of all those guys about Brian Hill,
and I'm starting him as a number two running back.
Snell? Edwards?
Again, it's that Tuesday night game.
Let's say they play. Where would you be on that?
Gus Edwards would be a number two running back in non-PPR,
a good number two running back in non-PPR,
and a high-end flex in full PPR.
Benny Snell is a mid-range high-end flex in non-PPR
and a mid-range low-end flex in full PPR.
I thought you'd be higher on him.
I mean, you're just not sure if he's going to get all the work that Conor gets.
I don't necessarily expect.
I mean, what's all the work that Conor's got over the past month?
All right, fine.
So you think he's going to split with McFarlane, I guess is my better question.
Yes, I do think they want to get McFarlane more involved.
I think McFarlane has better pedigree as a running back.
He is someone that I think has a better chance of developing into a full-term
starter in the future.
Pick a Colts running back.
I'm going to go with nine minds.
He has at least shown the ability when he's received double digit touches to
be good for fantasy purposes.
We know he's going to be the primary pass catching running back.
He was good against the Titans as recently as two weeks ago.
He's not far behind Brian Hill for me, at least in PPR,
as a number two running back that I feel okay about starting.
We're going to fire through the rest of these now
because we're already past our five-minute goal.
I knew we would be today.
Julio Jones not expected to play according to one report,
game-time decision according to
another. Your reaction?
I really don't want to start Matt Ryan.
He's a number
a high end number two fantasy quarterback.
Austin Eckler could play
today. Won't get the full workload. Kalen Balazs
likely out.
Eckler is a low end number two
running back. Better in PPR, but I
do have him behind Brian Hill and Naeem Hines.
San Francisco has activated Mostert and Jeff Wilson.
Don't know what the situation's going to be, though.
Mostert is a low-end number two running back.
I prefer him to Eckler in non-PPR.
I prefer Eckler in full PPR.
Ryan Fitzpatrick starting.
Yeah.
I've had Devontae Parker as a number two wide receiver for most of the week.
I feel better about that call.
And Fitzpatrick is a borderline number one quarterback.
I would start him over Matt Ryan.
Would you start him over Taysom Hill?
I would start him over Taysom Hill.
Jalen Hurts will apparently play more,
getting first team reps at quarterback for the Eagles this week.
I really don't want to start any Eagles besides Miles Sanders and Dallas
Goddard.
And this is an Apple podcast question from JT.
Give me one in PPR,
Tyler Boyd,
Damian Harris,
or Kalen Balazs,
Kim Balazs,
not expected to play.
So Boyd or Damian Harris,
PPR.
I'm going to go with Damian Harris.
I don't feel that much differently about the Bengals receivers than I do.
The Broncos receivers.
Oh,
even in PPR.
I don't know. Brandon Allen
is their starting quarterback.
Yeah, I do that. That's true.
I'm surprised. I thought you were going to go with Tyler Boyd.
Thank you very much to Heath Cummings.
