Let's get those lineups set for week seven right now on Fantasy Football Today in five.
Good morning, everyone. Adam Azar and Heath Cummings here.
You know what? I'm just going to start out with an easy one, Heath.
What do we do about Christian McCaffrey?
It is easy. You should probably just wait him out.
No, you've got to take a look at your matchup and who's on your bench.
Obviously, if you have Elijah Mitchell or Jordan Mason, then you are waiting.
If you have, maybe you can put McCaffrey in your flex and you've got a KJ Osborne or even a
Jawan Jennings with no Devo Samuel. Anything I can do to wait and see, I would like to wait and see
because he has a floor of zero. Probably the guy you're thinking about starting him as a floor of like two.
Well,
I don't know what,
if it's,
what if it's a guy like Jerome Ford or Brian Robinson,
or,
uh,
if,
if you're,
if you have two,
if your third running back is Jerome Ford or Brian Robinson this week,
and you don't have somebody that you can wait it out,
then you absolutely start Jerome Ford or Brian Robinson.
If you have a top 15 running
back, or two of them apparently,
then yes, definitely start the top 15
running backs. Because
there is a very strong possibility.
I'm not saying that he's going to miss the
game, but it's not
like, oh, he's treading, he's
probably going to play. It's nothing like that. I mean, it's very
possible he doesn't play McCaffrey, right?
We've not, I've not received any indication of whether it's different than 50-50.
I'm viewing it as 50-50.
Fair enough.
Aaron Jones is expected to play.
He'll throw him out there, right?
Yep.
Jeff Wilson is coming off IR.
He's going to play tonight at Philadelphia.
Your thoughts on Jeff Wilson?
I think it definitely, one thing for sure is it makes
Sivan Ahmed much less attractive as a potential flex option and I thought he was a potential flex
option I Wilson is a low-end flex most are still a top five running back uh first game back I've
been a little bit cautious anyway and then there's the uncertain usage and the tip probably mean
potential of a terrible matchup yeah so stay away from him if you can.
He's a top 45 running back.
He's in the rankings, but barely.
Question from Darren.
Jeff Wilson or Najee Harris?
I'd go Najee.
I had a question this morning.
Jeff Wilson or Jaleel McLaughlin?
I said McLaughlin.
How about you?
I'd go McLaughlin, yeah.
I think that backfield remains a bit of a mystery.
I know earlier in the week, Jamie was more optimistic about Javante Williams than I am.
McLaughlin's my favorite Broncos running back this week. All right. Rashaun Johnson is out. So Deontay Foreman had, I think, 15 carries and one catch
last week. He'll get the Raiders this week. Kareem Hunt may not play. So that's, that could
be a very advantageous for Jerome Ford. Let's talk about the Rams running backs. Adam Schefter
saying that they're going to lean on Royce Freeman and Daryl Henderson. So if you picked up Zach Evans, you're probably not using
Zach Evans. Give me your thoughts on the Rams running backs against the Steelers.
I wouldn't go into this game with any expectations at all. I think I've ranked Freeman at 30 and
Henderson at 31 and Evans at like 48. Anything could happen. I would prefer not to start any of them.
I understand if you're stuck in a situation where you have to start one, there's not anybody who
knows, um, like which one's the right one or if there even is a right one. It's a complete disaster.
Yeah. And it's so funny. Cause I basically, I I'm so desperate this week for running backs
that I saw Daryl Henderson was already picked up by Jamie.
I was like, I'm going to get Royce Freeman.
I'm getting Royce Freeman right now.
Anyway, let's see.
Let's talk about the wide receivers here.
DK Metcalf may not play.
So what would that mean for Jackson Smith and Jigba?
He would go from a what the heck flex to a what the heck wide receiver three.
I mean, I would have some hope,
but he certainly wouldn't be a sure thing at all.
Debo Samuel out for at least two games.
Also, left tackle Trent Williams
is doubtful. So, did you
downgrade Brock Purdy with the Debo news
and the Trent Williams news?
I'm pretty much just ranking Brock Purdy
at 12th. Okay.
Every week, he's 12th.
He's pinned.
Yes.
Deshaun Watson expected to play.
Purdy or Watson?
I would go Purdy over Watson.
Watson's going to come in right around QB 15.
Josh Dobbs was my favorite streamer of the week that was available
in more than 50% of leagues.
I put Watson one spot ahead of him.
Brian Hoyer is going to start for the Raiders.
Daniel Jones is out. And just something, if you have Ramondre Stevenson, I put Watson one spot ahead of him. that to influence your decision at all. And several games could be affected by wind issues, mostly on the East Coast, so basically all on the East Coast. Looking at gusts of up to maybe 20
miles per hour, maybe even more than that. But I don't think it's going to be too crazy. But Detroit,
Baltimore, Buffalo, New England, Washington and the Giants, Miami and Philadelphia could have some
wind issues in these games. If you want to know more about it, you listen to FFT. You watch us at YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today,

just your fantasy questions, YouTube.com slash Fantasy Football Today.
Speaking of your questions, let's do that for 30 seconds.
Purdy or Gino?
Purdy.
Curtis Samuel or Rasheed Rice?
Samuel. Saquon Barkley or aaron jones saquon flowers london or jsn flowers um which broncos running back should i start
we don't really know i'm going with mclaughlin um tony said both i wonder if he meant that he
had p ryan and Javante Williams.
If that's the case, I'd go with Javante.
That could be.
Tony or Henderson?
Henderson.
And Cook?
James Cook, Stevenson, or Gibbs?
Like, really, if you're thinking about one of the Rams and you have a tell, just flip a coin.
We don't have any. Darrell Henderson might touch the ball two times.
Yeah, I know.
And he might touch the ball 18 times.
I have no idea.
Sorry about that.
No, it's okay.
Gibbs.
Gibbs over James Cook and Ramondre Stevenson.
And that's it for Fantasy Football Today in 5, everybody.
Good luck.
