I'm Adam Azer with Heath Cummings here.
Heath, I'm going to start with a question.
I think I'm going to start with every week.
Are any games in jeopardy of being postponed?
I don't think so.
I think we discussed last week.
We're not doing that anymore.
The Bills did have an outbreak in their tight end room.
Thankfully, one of their tight ends, Tyler Croft, wasn't there when it happened.
So they have a tight end.
I suppose if the Bills had a positive test come back on Sunday morning,
then it might be a problem.
But as of right now, I think it's all systems go.
All right.
So let's talk about Josh Jacobs then.
His offensive linemen have been cleared, four of them anyway.
How do you feel about him?
I'm not really downgrading him that much based on what I was thinking before.
It's a very difficult matchup,
but he's going to get 15 to 20 touches,
and you're starting him.
Maybe not as a number one this week.
Maybe he's your number two,
but still, you're starting him.
Are you starting him, Josh Jacobs,
ahead of Giovanni Bernard
or Jamal Williams if Aaron Jones is in fact out?
I would say yes to Jamal Williams. I would expect
more of a split there
and full PPR. I
would definitely start Giovanni Bernard over
Josh Jacobs. Talk to me about the Packers situation.
What are you thinking with Jamal
Williams and AJ Dillon? I really
thought it was going to be when we went to bed last night that it
would be clarified for us that Aaron Jones
would not be playing, but he did make the
trip to Houston. He is pushing to
play. We saw this with Devontae Adams where he pushed
to play and the Packers training staff just didn't
let him. So I would still say
it's less likely that Jones
is going to play. And in
that case, I would view Jamal
Williams as a low-end
number two running back with A.J. Dillon
as a touchdown or bust flex.
You might put Jamal Williams in that
Devin Singletary range.
Okay, and if Aaron Jones does
play, are you going to sit him?
I would have a hard...
I mean, it's going to depend on who you have. Yes, for
Giovanni Bernard, obviously.
But there's
not 24 running backs I think I would start over
Aaron Jones if he plays. No, I'm going to
have to make a decision if he plays James Robinson,
David Montgomery, and I think that would be an easier thing to do in PPR.
It's a non-PPR league.
I think I'm probably going to sit him.
I don't think I'm going to start Aaron Jones if he plays.
I'm just nervous about it.
The problem is it's such a great matchup.
It's so incredible.
It's one of those matchups where he could have 200 yards
and four touchdowns if he was right.
He might have just talked me into it.
So, yeah, I don't know. It's going to those matchups where he could have 200 yards and four touchdowns if he was right. You might have just talked me into it. So, yeah, I don't know.
You're going to be a tough call.
Are we concerned about Justin Jackson's availability or workload?
It sounds like...
I think there's valid reasons to be concerned about his workload, even if he was 100%.
Because it's going to be some sort of split between he and Joshua Kelly.
And there's a chance this game gets out of hand.
And so he doesn't play as much in the second half, I suppose.
But it sounds like he's okay.
It's not like he's a game-time decision or anything.
So I would still view
him as a low-end number two
running back. I'd rather start DeAndre Swift.
I'd rather start Antonio Gibson.
But he's still a top 24 back for me.
So Justin Jackson or Jamal Williams?
If Aaron Jones is out?
Probably Jamal Williams.
Jamison Crowder is doubtful.
Do you like any Jets?
I kind of liked Rashad Perryman a little bit as a sneaky flex
before it was announced that Jamison Crowder was out.
He had eight targets in his first game back,
and the Bills haven't exactly been world beaters against the pass this year.
So if you need a desperation flex, I like Perryman better as like a punt in DFS.
Very, very cheap on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Who do you like better, Brashad Perryman or Traquan Smith with Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders out?
Probably going to say that I like Perryman better.
I think that the Jets probably throw more passes than the Saints do this week.
DeAndre Hopkins and Julio Jones are expected to play.
Are you buying the reports that Gardner Minshew could be benched?
Yeah, I mean, there seems to be more.
They seem to want to do nothing more than play Mike Glennon.
So I am very, very concerned about starting Gardner Minshew.
Hopefully he comes out and has a type of day that makes him look silly,
but this is a tough matchup.
And if it's really a short leash,
he's probably going to have a bad play or two.
They're probably going to lose by double digits.
He's probably going to get bitched.
Does that mean we have to sit DJ Chark, Keelan Cole, LaVisca Chenault?
I am not starting Chenault.
A little worried about the workload.
Cole, I think, is in that Perryman boom-bust number three range.
And I'm probably still starting DJ Chark.
I mean, they're still going to throw the football.
Right. All right.
Well, that's going to do it for Fantasy Football today in five.
