This is fantasy football today from CBS sports
It's time to dominate your fantasy league
Here's some combination of Adam Dave Jamie and he
Overtime game winner what a way to finish off the 1 and 4 p.m. slate here
on week nine, Fantasy Football Today,
presented by Bet MGM, the sportsbook born in Vegas.
We are four guys wearing blue and not feeling blue.
We're feeling good about Fantasy Football.
This was awesome.
I had this horrible feeling going into the day.
I was like, yeah, today's gonna stink.
I didn't like it.
I just wasn't, I was in a crummy mood
or something like that, but I am energized.
Great stuff and we welcome you.
We're talking about our winners and our losers,
our injuries, the Cowboys are bad.
You should hear Dak Prescott say it himself on the sideline.
Anyway, Adam, Dave, Jamie Heath, here we go.
The biggest winner, I'm not even gonna throw it to you guys.
Let's talk about Jackson Smith and Jigba.
37 fantasy points.
I don't think that would make him QB1. I feel like someone outscored him. I feel like Burrow
outscored him today. But other than that, whoa, hey Heath, what's up? How about JSN?
He was awesome. Now, Adam, you don't normally pick the winners. So generally we try to
choose guys who are winners because not because somebody else was hurt and that person's going to come back next week and they won't be
great anymore.
Incorrect.
Bye bye next week.
So even worse, but no, it was, it was nice to see him take advantage of the
opportunity.
He made some spectacular plays in this game downfield.
Like there is no rule against throwing the ball to JSN more than five yards in the line of scrimmage we found
out. And it was it was really exciting from Seattle sent they
they won the game and they lost the game. Then they won the
game. Then they lost the game again and the Rams were just
kind of hung out and watched.
Or does anybody think that this is the start of something here
for Jackson Smith and Jibba like, you know, you can't put that back in the box.
Is he? Yeah, I feel like that's what we were saying after week two.
Right. Do you need a reminder of what happened after week two with JSN?
Do you need a reminder of who wasn't playing today?
I know. But I mean, like, throw the guy the ball.
He's obviously really good.
That's what I'm saying. All right.
It's three targets and three catches the week after his first
blow up game where you can't put it back in the box.
All right. Well, you know what? I was just excited. He had a
great game. Good for him. All right. He's an awesome player.
Jamie, why don't you give me another winner?
Yes, Thomas. He did just say that. The guy that for me was
Mike Isecki. I mean, I was very excited about him coming into the week.
If T Higgins wasn't going to play and my gosh, he was, uh, stay away.
T Higgins.
This is, uh, this was fun.
Well, okay.
But now how is that not the same thing as JSN?
Like who has more obviously when T Higgins is back, he's not going to do that.
not the same thing as JSN. Like who has more-
Obviously when T Higgins is back,
he's not gonna do that.
Okay, there we go.
He's gonna double sample size.
But if you do need a tight end for next week
and T Higgins stays out again,
clearly Mike Gasecki is not three or four games
where he's been absolutely awesome.
All right, yeah.
Wow, I mean, I knew you were excited coming in,
but yeah, this has been quite a start to the show.
And really, Gasecki, basically the same as JSN, right?
Exactly. I'd like to address something. I didn't say that I know
But I was just talking really fast and I tried to say forget it and I just forgot the or get
But I did not do that. But this time, I don't
want to say you're gonna yell at me. This time, I actually heard
what people were talking about. Sometimes I'm like, what I
didn't know. Okay, anyway, let's go. You didn't say it. I mean,
no, I did. I know it sounded like that. But I didn't actually
say that. I saw it. It's like when you rush saying start and
sit show. Sometimes you say the wrong thing.
Yeah, exactly.
Dave, who's our big loser this week?
Well, what was last week?
Last week was tight end week.
Yeah, this was tight end sucks week.
I mean, listen, Kisiki was awesome.
I'll give you that.
And there's other tight ends that did well too.
But Laporta sucked.
Pitts sucked.
Najoku double sucked. Kraft st sucked. Najoku double sucked.
Crafts stunk.
Ingram stunk.
Kin kids stunk.
We still got three more to go.
So let's hope they don't think too.
They'll stink too.
But all the momentum, all the excitement that we had after these tight ends went
crazy last week, it's like they can't do it two weeks in a row.
So they all fall off again.
And now we're going to have questions over half these tight ends.
And we've already had 10 tight ends score
at least 11 PPR fantasy.
Name them.
How many of them were started?
Some were.
Now Mike Gassicki, Taysom Hill, Brock Bowers,
Jake Ferguson, Trayman Bride, Hunter Henry.
Hey, Bride's going to touchdown.
This was a bad week for tight ends though.
Chitavian Sanders?
Oh yeah, everybody's got three more to goian Sanders? We still got three more to go.
Sanders.
We still got three more to go.
Don't we have four more?
No, the Colts don't count.
The Colts have four themselves.
That's true.
Let's go, Hawkinson.
Let's go, Kelsey.
Let's go, Kate Otten.
Yeah.
Well, last week we had, let's see, we had nine, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven,
eight, nine tight ends score more than 16 fantasy points.
That was National Tight Ends Week.
Right now at National Tight Ends Stink Week, Mike Kosicki is the only one that scored 16
or more fantasy.
I'm sorry, 16 or more.
Let's be fair, the originator of it did not play this week, so that's part of it.
That is true.
I think they're all...
They're all Stinkies.
They don't play any week.
And I think just, you know, just going back to a couple shows ago, if that parent was
mad at you for some of the things you said before.
I know.
But I honestly didn't say that.
Like I know it sounded that way, but I really did.
Plus I'm going to take it out of the audio version, but no, leave it.
Come on.
No, absolutely not.
I put a Twitter poll up and I think if I had done it again, that little child that's driving
to school tomorrow that's going to say, I can't wait to hear what Adam has to say.
No.
No, no, stop, stop, stop.
What was the best play of the week?
I said I could only fit four options here
and I think I accidentally stole these from NFL Red Zone,
but Drake May ties the game
with an awesome touchdown throw.
Saquon Barkley backwards jump.
That was dumb.
Devontae Smith touchdown catch.
Rico Doudotto crazy catch.
What was the best play?
What would you guys have voted for?
There was only one of those that my 15 year old
texted me about.
Barkley.
Barkley.
Yeah, and my son did too.
But I thought.
What'd you say?
The shot that Barkley took after was not worth it.
Yeah, that's true.
I thought Devontae Smith's touchdown was insane.
Okay, but if I put the Marcus Robinson's touchdown on there,
then what?
Does that jump?
Drake May's play was great.
Yeah, it was a pretty good play.
Which play?
Drake May?
All right, so what's your vote?
What's your vote?
What's the best play?
Drake May was mine.
I mean, Daniel Jones was responsible
for three touchdowns in his own building.
And none of those three make the top five plays.
What are we doing here?
All right. I think I would have voted for Devante Smith's catch.
I thought it was pretty incredible.
No, the Barkley thing.
When do you ever see something like that?
That was amazing.
Um, all right, let's, uh, get into some news and all this.
I'm in super Mario.
Yeah.
So news and notes, uh, we'll talk about the Cowboys, pretty ugly situation there, but first,
if you have not signed up for BetMGM yet,
use the bonus code fantasy, let's do it.
And you're gonna get up to a $1,500 first bet offer
on your first wager with BetMGM.
Here's how it works, you download the BetMGM app,
you sign up using the bonus code fantasy,
deposit at least $10 and place your first wager
on any game, and you'll receive up to $1,500 in bonus bets
if your bet loses.
Just make sure you use the bonus code fantasy
when you sign up.
Your news and notes.
So the main quarterback news is Dak Prescott,
I'll get that in a second,
but they bench guard your minchue for Desmond Ritter.
They're going into the bi-week evaluating everything
in Las Vegas, but said he was just looking for a spark, but let's get to Dak and CD Lamb.
Dak left with a hamstring injury, CD Lamb can-
Can you, since you have a potty mouth, repeat what Dak said?
No, but Dak was caught on the sideline.
I mean amateur lip readers, we stink basically is what he said.
And so he's got a hamstring injury.
He said, I think he said he never felt anything like this before. And
CD lamb has a shoulder injury. So he's going to have an MRI. He
came back in the game. But Dave, your thoughts on the state of
the Cowboys offense, I think one of your winners was Rico
Dowdle, right? He was a winner because I thought he played
really well. He looked like a guy that hasn't played football
in a couple of weeks.
And he took advantage of that zone coverage that Atlanta plays and had a lot
of catches and that funky touchdown was, uh, cool, I guess it was fine.
People who started them are thrilled.
Obviously this whole offense changes if it's Cooper rush the rest of the way,
but I think we can finally put to bed the whole Dallas doesn't have a running
back thing. They've got their running back and it's someone that fantasy managers might be happy
to start. Hopefully Dak isn't out too long. Hopefully. And hopefully lamb is not out too
long. We'll see what happens. Uh, he, he looked hurt even when he caught the two point conversion
late in the game, he left, he got, he earned a shoulder going for a touchdown, didn't catch it,
came back in and, uh, caught a two point two point conversion. He was like sore even after that.
Jonathan Brooks is expected to play in week 10. He's one of Dave's losers.
We'll talk about that in a minute. Isaiah, you met one more quarterback news.
Caleb Williams apparently has an ankle injury. We've got to keep an eye on.
Oh, okay. I didn't see that. Yeah. He limped off the field. I guess the,
he got his butt whipped. He said, here's what the field. I guess the- He got his butt whipped.
He said, here's what it was.
I guess he was asked about, should he have been in the game?
He said, that's not my call or something like that.
This is from Omar Ruiz, who said,
Bears quarterback Caleb Williams says he's okay
after tweaking his ankle at the end of the game.
He said, quote, not my decision on whether he should have
been in the game late. And Eberfuss said he limped off there a the game. He said quote, not my decision on whether he should have been in the game late and he refused
sled. He limped off there a little bit. He came in, he looks to be fine.
So it's just something to keep in mind.
Okay. So he scored 9.2 fantasy points at Arizona and he'll be in the show a
little bit later as one of Jamie's losers. All right.
So Jonathan Brooks expected to play next week, but I really, I mean, I said this,
I think, uh, they say it on the air.
I feel like he's going to be on the most drop list soon.
Well, anyway, I'll get into that theory a little bit later.
We'll talk about that Brooks.
Isaiah Pacheco hoping for a late November return.
Raheem Mostert fumbled for the second time this season.
I was curious to see what would happen.
They still have faith in him, but a bad fumble for him.
Wide receiver news, this is where it's at.
Other than CD Lamb, we got Drake London
leaving with a hip injury.
Chris Olave carted off, taken to the hospital.
He's doing fine.
That's good news.
Don't know when he'll be back, but that's Chris Olave.
They also lost Cedric Wilson Jr.
in the first half to a shoulder injury.
So tough day for New Orleans.
And they also lost to the Panthers.
Puka Nakua was ejected.
AJ Brown left with a knee injury. New name, new name by thethers. Puka Nakua was ejected. AJ Brown left with a knee injury.
New name, new name by the way.
Puncha Nakua.
Puncha Nakua, okay.
Yeah, he was ejected with one catch.
So AJ Brown with the knee injury,
London hip, Olave is officially a concussion.
Yes. Yes.
And CD Lambshava.
The London injury is weird because he did the stupid TG celebration.
Yeah, I didn't.
OK, the one that the college kid yesterday was still in his head.
That's what I'm on.
I'm around it. Yeah.
So he lands on his hip.
He does the touchdown celebration.
He's riding a bike and then he couldn't go back to you.
All right. Well, we'll check on him. Nice game for.
And you see what a lot of his brother said in the wake of the injury?
No. Okay. So real quick. So a lot of I obviously got hurt, went to the hospital
during the game. His brother, Josh, a lot of a tweeted bro just called. He's up and active.
And so somebody responded and said, it might be time to have that quote. Is it worth it? Talk.
And Josh, a lot of a replied, ain't worth it. And Nola, I'll tell you that.
Ooh. And then I'm sure you guys saw what Michael Thomas was tweeting during the game.
No, I did not see that. He was trashing Derek Carr talking about how they fired all these coaches
for Derek Carr and Derek Carr's stinks. And this is that like, it was not looking good.
There's more Sean Lattimore on the chief shit.
Anyway, more news and notes.
Eric all left with a knee injury and there were a lot of typical offensive
line and defensive injuries.
But the big one to me is, uh, one team had three offensive linemen go out with
injuries.
Why can't I find it?
Um, oh, it was the Raiders.
They, they, they are going into their bi-week with three offensive linemen left with injuries. Why can't I find it? Oh, it was the Raiders. They are going into their
bye week with three offensive linemen left with injuries for them. And Tennessee lost
Lloyd Cushinberry. It could be for a while their center. They had a lot of problems,
I think, with the snap after that. And the Saints also lost center Lucas Patrick to a
calf injury. All right, we're going to go take a quick break here. When we come back,
we got a game called It's Over dot. Who is it over for?
We'll tell ya.
Oh, we'll discuss.
We'll debate after this on FFT.

DATA SOURCED FROM THE ORCGA 2023 DIRT REPORT.
I love that.
The guy just texted me tonight. He said, thanks for the advice.
Get the JSN for those of you watching on YouTube.
Get the JSN promo out there on JSN day.
All right.
It's over for dot dot dot.
I don't necessarily believe all this, but just tell me, is it?
Oh, look at this.
Jamie Erdahl is ringing the thing, the horn at the Vikings game.
We used to work with Jamie Erdahl.
She's the best.
Good for her. Ringing the horn? Whatever they do. Blowing the horn. Jamie Erdahl, she's the best. Good for her.
Ringing the horn?
Well, whatever they do.
Blowing the horn, what do they do?
Ringing the horn?
For a second I was like, wait, they have a bell.
And then I was like, wait, now they have a horn, sorry.
But that's great, good for Jamie, she's awesome.
What do you do with a horn, Adam?
You ring it.
Don't you ring the horn?
All right, anywho, it's over for Malik.
That transition really rang.
Thank you.
Malik neighbors as a top 10 wide receiver.
It's over for Malik neighbors as a top 10 wide receiver.
No, they get the Panthers next week.
Didn't he just score 15 fantasy points?
What is this 15?
This is good.
This is good.
We're happy with this.
This is three weeks in a row,
8.1, 14.1, 14.9 PPR fantasy points,
all since losing Andrew Thomas.
We're happy with this?
He gained some ground.
That horn was dinging, I'd be very happy about it.
You're gonna rank him in the top 10 next week?
You're going to your Star Trek shirt again?
Yeah, I'm told you.
I don't think he's taking it off.
I'm not letting you ruin it for me.
Hey, neighbors had no catches at halftime.
Daniel Jones had zero passing yards.
But Dayball was a dingling for not giving neighbors a chance to even have.
Daniel Jones had zero passing yards at halftime.
Zero and a touchdown.
Zero passing yards and a passing touchdown at halftime.
But he, I think he threw four passes in the first half.
They came out, they ran, they ran, they ran.
It was actually working.
Then they fell behind. They had to throw a great game today.
He had just short against one of the best teams in football.
Yeah. All right. So you guys think Malik neighbors is the top
10 wide receiver rest of season?
Ish? Yeah. Okay. I mean, they're all look, he's alive. He's
breathing. He's walking. He's healthy. Like, yeah, he's
getting double digit targets. Yes. He's breathing. He's walking. He's healthy. Like, yes. And he's getting double digit targets.
Yes.
In a half.
Okay.
It's over for Jalen Waddle as a starter.
Yes.
Jalen Waddle as a must start wide receiver, certainly.
Do I abstain from this conversation?
Yeah, it's been over for days.
Oh, you've been right on it.
You said, absolutely, Chyman.
No, I wouldn't.
I didn't want to draft them.
Yes.
Good call.
Why would you, why would you abstain?
Cause I wanted, I don't know.
Cause I didn't want to think I was biased against him.
Yeah, bragging.
I mean, you made the right call.
Yeah, boy.
I think you drew more attention to it by saying, should I abstain?
I think what's really, I mean, just the fact that
in four games with two A-chans had what six or seven
or more targets in every game, that's why.
Oh, A-chans is their best receiver.
Yeah.
All right, it's over for the Jacksonville running backs.
Yeah.
There's a little bit of an asterisk
because what happens if they trade ETN?
Who's trading for them though?
I don't know.
Someone might give up a callback.
He almost had a good day.
Yeah, I know.
That would have been so annoying.
Yeah, you can't, you can't start them with confidence.
It's over for you.
Say Dierdres Johnson.
Yeah.
Did he make fun of me today?
Please.
No, I didn't actually. I had to fix Jamie's roster on Saturday because he dropped Deontay Johnson accidentally.
He thought he was dropping Deurness Johnson.
He was not actually on his team.
He does not have Deurness Johnson on his roster.
Well, okay, I'll make fun of myself.
I got the notification on my phone, and we were frantic like right before we were going on the air for the 1130 Q&A
that Brian Robinson Jr. was out.
So I picked up Antonio Gibson in the IDP league.
I immediately realized he's not on the team anymore.
I wonder why you did that.
Yeah. Then I dropped him for, I think, for McNichols.
I started the John Wiggins roster.ichols. I started McNichols.
John Riggins rostered.
Great stuff, what's that?
Nevermind.
All right, John Rodney, is that what you said?
No.
I mean, what'd you say?
No, continue on with your dumb game.
Riggins, whatever.
Okay, so, oh, it's over for DJ Moore as a top 30 wide receiver top 30.
Yeah, it might be.
Again, he's, he's not hurt.
So I will agree to it's over for him as a top 24 wide receiver.
Take me back to three weeks.
What was working for Chicago's offense when we were fawning over Caleb Williams?
The schedule.
Anything besides that?
Was there anything else that was good in that offense besides the run game?
He played the Colts, he played the Jaguars, he played the Panthers.
Over for Jonathan Taylor holding onto the football.
Put that one on flacco, I really do.
Well, let me just check the pressure rate here.
This week, so this is crazy, right?
So last week I gave that stat and I think the pressure rate, it might change.
I think it's a little early right now, but I gave the stat that Caleb Williams last week
was pressured on 62% of his drop backs, which was the most for any quarterback in any game this season. But the Cardinals had a really
bad pass rush. Well, right now, as I'm looking at true media, they have the fourth highest
pressure rate of week nine.
Yeah, that sounds about right. They were all over Caleb Williams. It was a combination
of a bad offensive line, good effort from the Cardinals, and Caleb Williams holding the ball
for five seconds minimum every single play.
Just like like Joe Flacco initially got credit with fumble.
So excellent.
So Patriots and then Packers up next for Chicago.
No, if I'm painting an optimistic picture picture for DJ
Moore, it's that their offensive line gets healthy, right?
Cause they're pretty beat up.
Are they not?
Or am I?
Yeah, but now we've got all these different qualifications for Chicago's offense to do well.
Their offensive line needs to get better and they need to run the ball better.
And then Keenan Allen has to be out. I mean, there's a bunch of things that make me very nervous
about DJ Moore moving forward.
You got four teams on a bye. You got him facing the Patriots. I mean,
it's not horrible to go back to him next week.
He's going to hate me for this one, but it's over because he's one of his losers. So I'm facing the Patriots. I mean, it's not horrible to go back to him next week. He's gonna hate me for this one,
but it's over because he's one of his losers.
So I'm stealing your content, but.
Well, no, you already sold one of my losers.
Yeah, no, I sold them both actually.
But I did this before you sent them.
But it's over for Alexander Madison as a fantasy starter.
For another week until somebody else,
like we need to buy into somebody else first.
So somebody else has to have a good game first.
No one's buying into Zemir White,
who did absolutely nothing as a rusher today.
Well, he also didn't play much into the second quarter.
I wonder if there's an injury there.
He did score the touchdown though.
He got in for the goal line work.
Yep.
Madison was started in 54% of leagues.
He did not have a catch in this game
at nine carries for 36 yards.
And how many people do you think like this week
there was some reason to buy into him,
but like most weeks,
how many people are actually starting Madison?
54%.
Well, no one's gonna do it next week.
No, I'm saying this week I understand it,
because he was facing a good matchup
and coming off a decent stretch of games.
I think he's, you know, I think he was looking like a flex.
His guy was getting about 18 touches a game.
He was catching a few passes
and he was getting Miami after the bye.
So I think-
It's just so frustrating
because even when Zameer White was the lead running back,
Alexander Madison was getting a lot
of the short yardage work.
And then-
I told you though, I don't know if I don't know
the last time I said there were these weird circumstances
surrounding those plays is like, Oh, Alexander Zemir White just
broke off a long run Alexander Madison comes in and gets the
touch. It was like it was kind of fluky. I don't didn't really
think that was his role. But they obviously they're obviously
going back to the drawing board. This basically what Antonio
Pierce says like we we gotta fix everything.
Well, not sure he's gonna use that.
Unfortunately, he's gonna start with
who's in his office.
By the way, just to go back to finish up this
it's over for segment,
this is about over for this segment.
Oh, stop it.
What, what'd I do?
Nothing, Minnesota throwing to the tight end,
not the only one.
All right, then come on now.
Waddle or Moore, who are you more concerned about?
DJ Moore or J.M. Waddle?
Waddle?
Waddle.
Yeah.
Okay.
All right, let's go to our winners and losers then.
Jamie, your winners are Mike Kosicki,
you talked about him, but well, to wrap that up,
are you just not going to even bother with him
if T. Higgins is back?
Most likely.
Okay.
Then let's talk about Xavier Liggett, who's 47% roster gets the Giants next week, then
a bye, four catches, 33 yards and a touchdown after four catches, 34 yards and a touchdown
last week and only one game this year with more than 42 yards, but he keeps scoring.
So thoughts on Xavier Liggett.
You know, it's going to take more volume for people to trust them. this year with more than 42 yards but he keeps scoring. So thoughts on Xavier Liggett?
You know, it's going to take more volume for people to trust him but again, you know, you're looking at guys that have a chance to hopefully continue to improve and we know how
rookie wide receivers tend to, you know, build into something. I don't know what they're going
to do with Adam Thielen when he comes back, if he stays on the roster, if they trade him or not, but
I can't imagine that he's not going to be a focal point of the offense in some point moving forward.
And so, like you said, facing the Giants,
that's a matchup I think you can consider using him.
Four teams on a bye.
I'm glad he was able to play through the injury
that he had, hurt his wrist.
So it's now four touchdowns in his last six games,
and hopefully it continues to just get better
from this point forward.
Okay, and Dave's winners.
All right, here we go.
Jacoby Myers and Rico Dowdell.
You talked about Dowdell.
Does Dowdell need Dak Prescott to be worth starting?
Yeah, I'd prefer it if it's gonna be Dak for obvious reasons.
Okay, so then talk to me about Jacoby Myers
who had eight catches, 105 yards and on
11 targets at Cincinnati. And he's kind of on fire right now. Back to back big games started in 57%
of leagues. A lot of questions about him at 1130. I think in full PPR, he's going to be a top 24
receiver the rest of the way. And we talked about Waddle and DJ Moore. If I had to line those two
up against Jacoby
Myers, knowing what the game script is going to be for the Raiders every single week, I'm
taking Jacoby Myers. I think he's going to continue to be a good producer of yards and
catches until the season is over.
I wonder if the Raiders consider trading him.
You know, I can double check the contract, but I think you could be onto something.
I think that they could end up moving Jacobi Myers and get something for him.
And then he's going to a contender.
Hopefully it would be a team that I don't know which team would want him, but he's a
good receiver.
If he's traded, it's absolutely worse for him.
Yeah.
Well, you know, here's the thing.
I think he really needs to be an outside receiver.
So for weeks four through nine, that's when Devontae Adams got hurt and then eventually
traded.
He's on pace for 106 catches, which Kobe Myers was talking about, 106 catches, 1,182 yards,
four touchdowns, on pace for 157 targets. Okay, so he's getting about nine targets a game.
And he's out wide 76% of the time.
And we saw that earlier last year too.
He was out wide a lot.
The first six games of last year,
he's actually almost on an identical pace
as to what he's on right now,
except more touchdowns last year.
And then after they made the quarterback change
and went to Aiden O'Connell, they basically,
he just stopped throwing to Jacobi Myers. But I think Las Vegas kind of found something with him
is that he's almost the opposite of Christian Kirk. When Christian Kirk went to Jacksonville,
he started playing more in the slot and it unlocked Christian Kirk. I think maybe this is
just what we're seeing. Because if you're wondering, is this a fluke? Jacobi Myers,
it's not like he's a rookie. He's been in the league. He's never been a 28-year-old.
Right. So I think just his role, his target's obviously's a rookie. He's been in the league. He's never been a 28 years old. Right. So I think just his, his role, his targets, obviously nine a game. I think that they've unlocked a talented
player here. I hope anyway. Sure. And to Jamie's point, I don't know if there's a team that's out
there where he would continue to get nine targets a game. So maybe Tampa, who may be Tampa. Yeah.
You think Denver could take them? You think? No, they wouldn't try him to never nevermind. That's
a bad idea. Nevermind.
That's a bad idea.
Maybe Tampa.
That's a good call.
That would be a good landing spot.
He's got one more year left on his deal, so it's not that big of an issue.
So a team that trades them gets them for two more seasons.
I'm not sure if the Raiders are really going to let him go, but if he stays with the Raiders,
he's a winner moving forward.
Heath, your winners are Cedric Tillman and Quinton Johnston.
Tillman is 76% rostered and he had 11 targets today,
six catches, 75 yards and a touchdown.
So this is three straight games with 18.9 or more fantasy
points, 18.1 or more fantasy points for Tillman
and Quinton Johnston, four catches, 118 yards
and a touchdown on five targets at Cleveland.
Three straight games with at least nine targets.
I mean, this bad thing is now he goes into a bye and then maybe he gets Marshall and
Latimore if he's still on the Saints and then the Steelers.
So the matchups aren't great, but I think you just like, I wasn't even entirely sure
walking into this week that we'd come out of this game saying you have to hold Cedric
Tillman through the bye.
Like two good games for someone who came in with no expectations at all is a little
bit sketchy. Three in a row like this. There's just no question. And we're probably starting
him when he comes out of his by Quinton. Johnston was kind of right there with lad McConkey
before he went down with injury. And I was in McConkey had emerged since Johnson went
down. And so I was kind of curious what this would look like.
We're still two more targets for McConkey,
but Johnson making some really big plays downfield.
I don't know what his roster rate is,
but it needs to go way up.
50 does it though?
52, 53%.
And you think it needs to go up for Quinton Johnson?
Yes.
He could be a bench material for sure.
And a bi-week replacement and a boom bus flex.
The question on Tillman is
almost half of his targets, half of his catches, more than half of his yards and his touchdown were all in the fourth quarter. So first three quarters of the game, he was brutal.
Does that, does that slow you down or? I would care about that more if this wasn't game three
in a row or Jamis or how this team's probably going to look most weeks.
Who did I have that issue with this morning, Dave?
Jalen Coker, Jalen, but it was his first time doing anything. He didn't really do that. Well, I mean, he didn't do anything
like what Tillman was doing. It has been doing.
Listen, you know, you know, the Browns are going to allow Jamis
to throw out when they're down, you know, that they're going to
be down probably more often than not based on how this team has looked.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And you know that there's enough of a performance now,
you know, it's small sample size,
but it's enough of a sample size.
In three games without Amari Cooper, he's their guy.
Yeah.
All right, losers.
Heath's losers are already discussed,
Alexander Madison and Jalen Waddle.
So Dave's losers are already discussed, Alexander Madison and Jalen Waddle. So Dave's losers are Jonathan Brooks
and National Tight End Stink Day.
So we talked about the stinky tight ends.
Let's talk about Jonathan Brooks.
I think he's about 85% rostered.
Do you think he's gonna be dropped soon?
I'm not sure.
First of all, you should not drop him.
You've been carrying him this long
or you acquired him however long ago
you should hang on to him. But I don't think Chuba Hubbard's done anything to lose his
grip on the lead job for Carolina.
Right. Exactly. And not only that, obviously you're not going to start Jonathan Brooks
against the Giants because it's his first game and you're going to start Chuba Hubbard
against Giants. Then they have a bye. Then they have the Chiefs.
You're probably not gonna start them against the Chiefs.
Then we're in week 12.
So it's like, what are we doing here?
You're just gonna save him for a playoff run
where he's splitting carries?
Well, week 12 is the Chiefs.
Now we're in week 13.
Oh, week 13, I apologize.
We have to play Tampa.
Week 14, they're at Philadelphia.
So you could have kept going a little bit longer.
I'm just saying, what is gonna happen?
You know what I mean? A strong case for Chuba either.
Why? I mean, well, no, I'm just saying I don't know what the split's going to be,
but I can't see him just taking over the backfield that would.
No, I don't think so either.
But if he comes out and has a strong game against the Giants, then it's going to be
close to a 50-50 split. I mean, why would they not want to give him the opportunity
to get work as the season closes?
Yeah, I mean, yeah, you could definitely make that case.
So obviously they're out of it.
Big game, by the way, Giants, Panthers fighting
for the better quarterback in the draft.
Big game.
Oh, the Giants are gonna win this game by two scores.
I think I kinda figured that out.
For sure, yes.
And then you win one more, and then you win week 17
or week 18 against Philadelphia
when they're arresting their starters,
and you get the 11th pick.
Yeah, probably. Uh, okay.
Jamie's losers are a couple of quarterbacks,
Jamis Winston going into a buy and Caleb Williams going into a home game
against new England, three straight home games for Caleb Williams,
Patriots Packers in Minnesota.
Do you find any reason to hold on to either of those guys,
Jamis Winston or Caleb Williams? No,
you don't have to hold on to Jamis
in one quarterback leagues.
I mean, going into their bye week,
I would be interested in him taking on the Saints
because that's gonna be fun little revenge game for him.
And I don't think the Saints are very good.
And for Caleb, I mean, look,
it's not a tough matchup against the Patriots,
but how can you trust him at this point?
So, it depends on who you have at your
quarterback spot. Um, the only, there's just no way you should be dropping him any super
flex or two KB leaks, but who would do that? Are you sure? Cause it seems like I made a
pretty genius. Well, I mean, you helped him for Andy Dalton. So that was smart. Uh, I
picked up tank pigs. Me. It was awesome. By the By the way. We got one good game out of him.
I think we might not have started him that week though.
He was on our bench.
Well, really?
I don't know.
I'm gonna come up with, we did the winners
and losers pretty quickly.
So I'm gonna do an impromptu segment.
Rest of the-
We definitely, Sunday night shows, you're always saying.
I mean, you defined a little filler.
Yeah, three minute segment. Not even, not even. I'm going to,
I'm just looking at the top five running backs. All right. Rank,
rank these running backs. Rest of season.
Barkley H and Camara.
You just did.
Barkley Camara HN.
Barkley Camara H.
Jamie, we should talk about Chase Brown. He was your start of the week.
He's RB for scored 26 fantasy points, 27 carries, five catches.
What a game for him.
And we talking, we're talking League winner here, you think going forward?
Don't love the matchup against Baltimore.
Obviously, it's not going to be easy for him, but I love the fact that he was involved in
the passing game.
That was the thing that we were you know curious about with Zach Moss not playing
I don't know if Moss will be back on
Thursday but short week is probably not ideal for somebody that popped up late in the week with a neck injury
So yeah, I mean he's got that upside. You know, this is a this is a team that has the ability to be explosive as we saw today
Matchups are certainly gonna be you know how you you know view them
I think, just
in terms of must starts versus maybe starts and such, especially for someone like him.
But the potential is there. The production has been there, you know, in a moderate way,
you know, 11.4 PPR points or more in four of his last five, 13.4, I believe it was in
three of those games. He did score against Baltimore the first meeting
but it's hard to it's hard to say you're not starting him rest of season. All right, that's
Chase Brown. JSN Garrett Wilson, Zay Flowers, Demarcus Robinson and Cortland Sutton are your
top five wide receivers and in terms of Zay Flowers Heath, he only had six targets. He turned it into
five catches, 127 yards
and two touchdowns. Deontay Johnson barely played, played the 12 or 13 snaps. Do we do
anything here with Ze Flowers? Do we consider selling him or we just enjoy the ride?
I just really thankfully he's on my team because he's awesome and Lamar is awesome and this
team's awesome. And I want awesome players with awesome quarterbacks on awesome teams
on my fantasy football team.
Speaking of awesome quarterbacks, Dave, Joe Burrow,
Jalen Hertz, Lamar Jackson, Daniel Jones,
Josh Allen, Geno Smith.
Those are your top six.
One of these things is not like the other.
One of these things is just not the same.
Hey, but that was a bit called by you, Adam,
on the Rams and the quarterbacks that they faced.
Yeah, it was really the teams they faced, right?
They played all these run heavy teams.
So I thought a team that threw the ball a lot
could have success against the Rams.
And Gino was equal parts great and terrible today.
But yeah, I don't know.
There's not much to say here.
I mean, what do you think about Burrow, Dave?
Cause this was, he's been so good at home.
Do you, are you, is that it?
Or is that just a coincidence?
Cause home road splits are insane for Burrow.
I think there's a little bit more to it than just home and road. Obviously being at home
has been great and I'm super excited that he had this game without T Higgins. Cause
part of the concern was that without T Higgins, his numbers didn't have this type of upside.
And if T Higgins is back next week for a crucial game against Baltimore, uh, look, I'm going to start, I'm going to say to start Joe Burrow next week, no matter whether T Higgins is back next week for a crucial game against Baltimore, look, I'm going to
start, I'm going to say to start Joe burrow next week, no matter whether T Higgins is
there or not.
But if Higgins is back, then green light is on for Joe burrow to have another three plus
touchdown game.
And Jamie, we look at the tight ends here.
Gassicki Bowers, taste some Hill, Theo Johnson, Jake Ferguson, taste some Hill actually had
five targets. You know, it wasn't Taysom Hill actually had five targets.
You know, it wasn't a total shock that he had a rushing player.
Yeah, it's a must add player.
He scored twice against the Falcons last time they met.
It was on the ground.
They have no backup running back really right now.
You know, both Jamal Williams and Ken J Miller were out for this game.
Miller was on IR and so he's a he's an injury away to Camara.
You know, hopefully that doesn't happen to to becoming probably a
bigger part part of their their running attack, which we know that they're not afraid to use
And with the way that the receivers are now
injured if there is no
Alavi like he could have another five to seven target type of game
So given the tight end position and how it's been so up and
down, given the matchup against Atlanta, yeah, I mean,
I'm starting up next week.
All right. Let's taste some Hill and,
you know, we'll take a break.
We'll take a break and we'll get into all the games.
I also just want to update you according to Jordan Schultz,
Eric all has a torn ACL tough break there.
It's hate to see that. Yeah.
We'll be right back after this on fantasy football today.
Some of the goal line work
and some of the almost touchdowns you may have missed.
It was a little disappointing to see
Ray Davis working near the goal line.
Davis obviously had that big long touchdown catch,
but not the best game for James Cook.
Denver used Jaleel McLaughlin at the goal line.
They used both guys near the goal line,
but it's not exclusively Gavante Williams' role.
I had a nice Cortland Sutton Bo Nicks stack
in one of my leagues.
Didn't expect the touchdown catch to go quite the way it did,
but we'll take that.
You had De'Ernest Johnson actually getting in at first
to goal from the two yard line, not getting in the end zone,
but getting in the game on first. De'Ernest or De'Ante, which one? De'Ernest Johnson for getting in at first and goal from the two yard line, not getting in the end zone, but getting in the game on first.
The Ernest Johnson for the Jaguars.
So I think when they're playing from behind,
he's going to be on the field a lot and tank pigs.
We also was in on first and goal from the two yard line and second and goal from
the, from the actually from the four yard line in the fourth quarter, whatever,
almost touchdowns and some other things to know.
You know, Quinton Johnston and Josh Palmer,
they both had wide open touchdowns on coverage breakdowns.
And after the game, Denzel Ward said,
you can put those on me.
Keon Coleman dropped a pass that ended up as an interception
inside the five yard line.
Tough break there for Josh Allen.
Tony Pollard had a touchdown callback.
Jackson Smith, this is amazing.
JSN, 37 PPR fantasy points,
and he had two catches for 78 yards
called back on holding calls.
It was even better than the game,
one, then what the final game,
Wando Robinson had a touchdown callback
on a pretty weak pass interference penalty.
Bo Nix overthrew an open Troy Franklin
for what would have been a 33 yard
touchdown. I don't know how Kyler Murray did not hit Trey McBride in the end zone.
That was still wide open.
For the whole play. And then there were some others, but
Dontavian Wicks of course dropped the touchdown. It's not the easiest catch. And the weather was
definitely a factor in that game. Atlanta 27, Dallas 21.
And I don't, I mean, I don't know that there are any hot takes from this game,
but you know what?
Like what a crap game from Kyle Pitts.
Weird, right?
With Drake London getting hurt, he gets one target
and Kirk Cousins scoring 25 points, only 24 pass attempts.
But, and do we make anything of this Dave
or just chalk it up to a bad game for Pitts? Dave Korsunsky I think it's a combination of a bad game for
Pitts and Cousins continuing to look downfield and throw downfield when he's not pressured.
And he did that with Mooney. He got a nice little short pass to B. John Robinson that Robinson took
for 29 yards. And I think something to talk about is Mooney is a number two receiver moving forward.
And if the injury to Drake London is serious, then Mooney can really, you know, move up
in the rankings and be an easy must start type of fantasy receiver.
But it really does, it really does take the matchup and the lack of pressure for Mooney
for now anyway, to have the opportunity to have these big games.
When Cousins is under duress,
he's not gonna look as far downfield.
I mean, Mooney's been a starting receiver
for about the last month.
Mooney was started in 80% of leagues.
Yeah, yeah.
So I think, I mean, he could be started
in like 100% of leagues of Drake London is out.
I still feel like we got a lot of questions about him today. Yeah. He was going to be in that,
you know, wide receiver 18 to 30 range, I think in people's minds, you know, of those caliber of
receivers that, you know, should I start him or DJ Morris? I started him or Jalen Wilder. Should I
start him or, you know, JSN? Should I start him or, you know,? Should I start him or JSN? Should I start him or some of these other
Coraline Sutton, Jacoby Myers type of guys?
So he's not obviously set and forget it,
but I think since the week two game,
when he first emerged as a go-to guy for Kirk Cousins,
he's been building towards something
where I think people have just been
sort of starting him in that 80% range.
Sure. So now he could really be a go-to guy depending on what happens with London.
And that's done.
And then look at Ray Rima thought too.
You know, in the deeper leagues.
Buffalo 30, Miami 27, 61 yard field goal, a Bills record for Tyler Bass.
After missing an extra point.
Yeah. And I mean, I feel like...
And doink another one.
Right. You got it in, but off the other,
he's really, they've been talking so much
about replacing him, but not today.
That was wonderful stuff.
Okay.
Any, okay, any concerns about Tyreek Hill?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Go ahead, expand on that, Jamie Eisenberg.
I mean, look, you're starting him most weeks.
I don't think you're gonna have enough enough, you know, receivers, especially with the
injuries at the position to bench him with bi-weeks now upon us again, but he just
has not had the two, he's not had a blow up game in the two games since Tua has
come back and Tua is, you know, captain check down right now, just leaning on
Devon Achan and not necessarily taking some shots down the field to Tyree kill.
Understandably so with the way teams are playing them and taking away those opportunities. But you know, you thought, okay, two, it comes back and it's just easy, easy peasy for Tyree
killed, reproducing at a high level. Yes, you should be buying low on Tyree kill if
you can. As Heath has pointed out, you know, now we're in two games closer to the tougher
schedule and outdoor games as we approach the end of
the season of fancy playoffs. It doesn't seem like it's going to
be a very easy setup for Tyree Kill if you're concerned about
that. But also, you know, he's still capable of so is he going
to be a starter? Yes, he's not the same, you know, canoe,
kayak boat with a lotto, but he's, he's certainly
underwhelming for the season, you of that with two of his injuries, but
even the last two games.
I just want to, before I forget, update something I said.
Jordan Schultz, I said he reported that it was a torn ACL.
He has not exactly reported that.
He said they fear it is a torn ACL for Eric All.
So I'm sorry about that if I jumped the gun there.
Any concerns about James Cook Heath?
10 carries, 44 yards, he did have five catches.
This is coming off a brilliant 28.3 fantasy point game.
What do you think?
Yeah, I mean, it was a frustrating performance.
This was a game that Bills chose to go pass heavy
because the Dolphins are so good against the run
and so bad against the pass, right?
Apparently.
And it worked,
they won, but he still had more than half of the team's overall rush attempts, like 55%,
which is right about where he's been for most of the year. He got six targets in the game.
I think James, like you're not going to do anything other than start James Cook and then
start them again. Yes. The next week he had a, he had a bad drop in the game.
And it felt like when he dropped the ball, I didn't see him very much afterwards.
Oh, maybe only played 54% of the snaps.
Interesting.
Keon Coleman, terrible game.
One for 20 terrible game.
He did have a two point conversion.
He had two other targets, one in the end zone, one on a deep ball.
They went in complete and then there were penalties on Miami after
each of those plays. So you don't see those targets in the
stat sheet. If people drop Coleman, I'd consider picking
them up.
That was a huge, huge play because Jordan Poyer knocked
them out.
Yeah. Would you drop Keon Coleman for Xavier Leagate?
No, I don't think so.
Baltimore- Especially if Mark Cooper
is gonna miss time.
Baltimore 41, Denver 10.
Bo Nix with 17.7 fantasy points.
Javante Williams with 12 carries.
I mean, Javante Williams was still the lead back.
He obviously didn't have a good game because, you know,
but it wasn't that bad.
84 total yards.
Yeah, I mean-
He played 55% of the snaps.
And McLaughlin started.
So yeah, so what do we think? OK, so what are your thoughts on
that situation? Then obviously, you know, the score probably had
something to do with his snap share, but and it certainly is
touches.
We pretty much all had him ranked in that he's worth 10, what 10
fantasy points. He's playing the Ravens. That's probably what
you were hoping for when you started him.
And
Chiefs this week.
So right.
It's going to be bad.
Denver had a bunch of snaps inside the red zone
and inside the 10.
So it's, it's actually a little disappointing
that he couldn't find the end zone,
given all the work that they had.
It felt like early in the game
and you can clearly understand why,
like they gave up on running the ball, you know, like that's not the way you're going to be Baltimore. And so it may
have been to their detriment that they, that they didn't try a little bit more early in
the game. But look, he, he wasn't going to have a great game here without scoring a touchdown
or having a huge role in the passing game. And he did neither.
And bad game for Mark Andrews Lamar Jackson through only threw only 19 passes. Just, this is just gonna happen sometimes
with the Baltimore Ravens.
And probably happened to Zay Flowers at some point.
But I'll point out Zay Flowers has 111 or more yards
in four of his last five games.
And the only one he didn't was the game he hurt his ankle.
He still played a lot.
But he seems like he wanted to say something there.
It's really hard to use the excuse
that the quarterback only threw 19 times
for a pass catcher not doing well
when the quarterback threw for 280 yards
and three touchdowns.
Like the pie was enormous this week
in terms of fantasy points available in the passing game.
But not the targets though.
Not the targets.
Yeah, cause he's not like, Mark Andrews
is not gonna be making big plays downfield.
He also had two targets on 19 attempts.
So like an 11% target share, which is also awful.
It's a bad game.
13 snaps for Deontay Johnson.
No targets.
Chargers 27 Browns 10.
Anybody buying into Justin Herbert?
23 and a half points this week.
28.1 last week, six point per passing touchdown.
Lees gets the Titans, the Bengals, the Ravens coming up. I want to. I love what I'm seeing from him. I think he's,
I think he's throwing the ball well. It's, it's just having the, the confidence in the receivers
that he has. And you're always nervous that he's going to have a game where he doesn't throw a lot.
And then you get 200 yards, no touchdowns. And you wish that you never even considered starting them, but bi-weeks are coming
up. And I think we've seen enough from the Chargers since they're by where they've wanted to get Herbert
going. And look, this is a team, they're five and three. They've, they've got hopes for a playoff spot.
They're going to need Herbert. So I'm, I'm glad they're doing what they're doing.
And I think Herbert's looking good doing it.
You'll take a risk whenever you start them,
but I kind of buy into them a little bit.
Yeah.
I'm sorry.
27.
27, 18 of 27.
But now-
182 yards, two touchdowns.
So he was averaging 35 attempts per game
in his previous three.
So, you know, number drops down a little bit.
I think when you start to look at it, obviously the Dak Prescott manager is
going to be looking for a quarterback.
We'll see how Joe Flacco and Sam Darnold finished this game tonight.
You know, we'll see what Baker Mayfield looks like, you know, in another
game without his receivers, you have four teams on a buy.
Yeah.
I mean, he's, he's definitely back in the conversation of, you know, starter,
you know, especially, you know know like to look at the the
the quarterbacks we said as as sleepers or you know potential you know starters you know the the
two guys that were facing the Panthers the last two weeks Bownix was good Derrick Carr was bad you
know so there's lots of different ways you can pivot to say Justin Herbert belongs as a starter
and I think just based on what you've seen is receiving courts finally healthy again, DJ Chark may start to play at some point now these off IR. There's a lot to like about where
he's headed with the schedule. Here's one more thing to like his schedules great until week 14.
All right. Yeah, I don't think you know, he's not going to be a consistent, I won't rank him
consistently top 12. I don't know if you guys will, but you know, he's definitely going to be in that
okay, top 15 conversation for sure.
I, I just rostership. Do we know up top?
But he speaks 67%.
Go ahead.
Heath.
No, it's I, I think the 27 pass attempts also like is in a game.
They won by three scores and he was sacked six times.
They only ran the ball 23 times only ran 56 plays in the game.
So I, I, I'm probably going to project him over 30 pass attempts next week. Still, I
wouldn't feel negative about this. He's playing great
football. And if Quinton Johnston's helping out as well,
he doesn't have maybe the worst receiving coordinate I feel.
Okay. On the other side of the ball, Heath, who do you feel
confident in on the Cleveland Browns and including Nick Chubb
who had a none they're all on a buy next week. I know that but I
mean, going forward.
Okay, so I'm hopeful that Nick Chubb gets his bye week.
He's got his legs under him.
He comes out against a Saints defense
that has really given up a lot of production
to a lot of running backs lately and can get going.
I'll probably rank him as a low end number two.
I'm pretty hopeful on Cedric Tillman
and I'd like to hold Jerry Judy as well.
And a Joko?
Yeah.
Yeah, he's, he's fine.
All right.
But Elijah, Elijah Moore had nine targets and I hit like, I picked up Elijah Moore in
a few leagues.
I feel like if I drop him, I don't know that anyone's going to pick him up, but I do think
in a three receiver league, you don't necessarily want to just get rid of Elijah Moore.
He's got a ball going into their bye week.
He's dropped a ball.
But if I dropped him in the three receiver PPR leagues that we're all in together, I
think some one of you might pick him up.
Yeah, I don't think that's out of the realm of possibility knowing that, you know, someone
that is receiver needy would try to pick him up looking ahead to that Saints game.
But I also don't think that it's a slam dunk,
you have to roster him.
Okay, let's go to Cincinnati 41, Las Vegas 24.
I think we've talked enough about Las Vegas,
but what about Jamar Chase?
Seven catches for 43 yards on 11 targets.
He's having a strange year.
He was on pace for 125 targets going into this game.
Now it's probably 130 something.
Who would you rather have rest of season?
Tyree Kill or Jamar Chase?
Chase.
Chase.
A lot.
Why?
First off, he's been a lot better this year.
Well, yeah, but.
He's been better overall.
He's getting a lot of targets.
When T Higgins comes back,
he'll be a little bit tougher to defend.
And he's got sky high upside.
He has wide receiver one on the weak upside. Almost regardless of Matt, he's getting 11 targets each of the last
two games with T Higgins out when T Higgins is playing, he's getting one. He had one game with
more than seven targets. I think it's a fair question. I just think there's more upside with
Jamar chase based on what we've seen with his quarterback right now. Plus you have the risk of what happens to him.
Let's play a game at him.
Yeah.
Where does Jamar chase rank and fantasy points at wide receiver?
Uh, fifth.
No, he's the lower third.
First first.
Oh, total points.
Total fantasy points.
I was thinking after number one, where is he on average?
He is currently on average fifth, okay. All right, listen, he's obviously awesome
But he had he's having a weird season just statistically
No No, but I think we're probably being a little bit too low on Tyree kill
I think he's still amazing an amazing player
Who's just gonna?
Has a great chance to just tear things up
Yeah, it's not it's not it's not crazy, but and look another thing in Tyree's favor is bangles other by way coming up
There you go
Carolina 23, New Orleans 22
Carolina had the ball for only 25 minutes and 41 seconds
So it's ain't had the ball a lot,
but didn't really do that much other than Alvin Kamara
with well over 200 total yards, six catches.
He was awesome.
Any interest in a pass catcher for the Saints?
Taysom.
Taysom.
Kamara.
How about Olave?
Well, I'm assuming Olave is gonna miss at least the game.
Fine, but I mean, he's a good by low right now, I'd say.
Okay.
And you can revise expectations
and put them in more as a number two.
We could have saved a lot of energy
by just recording that three years ago.
So Olavi has definitely been by low good by low player.
He's over and over and over.
Yeah, this is a shame.
Jatavian Sanders 4% rostered for catches 87 yards for the Panthers.
Any interest in Jatavian Sanders?
Yes, deeper leagues.
It's gonna be fun.
I'm curious.
The two rookie tight ends that showed up today, both did well and they faced each other next
week.
Theo Johnson and Jitayvon Sanders.
Yeah.
I love Theo Johnson.
All right.
Tennessee 20.
We're almost at that game.
Tennessee 20, New England 17.
Pretty encouraging usage for Ramandre Stevenson.
He played more third down snaps than Antonio Gibson.
He had two catches on third down, which is a lot for him.
He had five catches in the game.
He had the game tying touchdown catch.
He is remaining one of the strangest play.
I mean, what is this stat line?
10 carries for 16 yards and a touchdown, five catches, 30 yards and a touchdown.
Like Dave, where are we at on Ramon?
He had a goal line touchdown and then he had a fortuitous touchdown at the end of regulation
and everything else was pretty crummy.
I hope somebody can put the Drake May touchdown to Ramondre Stevenson with the Benny Hill
soundtrack.
Yeah, it was fun.
So alright, so Stevenson like it almost seems like a little bit of a coincidence, but his best games have been their competitive
games. What not a coincidence when they get when they lose, he
stinks. Yeah. So is that just like, how did they do against
Chicago? Chicago Rams, Dolphins next three weeks.
Competitive, maybe competitive, competitive.
I have no idea what any of those three teams
are gonna do on a weekly basis.
I feel like we're getting a good beat on that.
I mean, look, they were competitive against the Jets.
I don't think anybody expected that.
Today, you expect them to be competitive.
Next week, based on what the Bears have looked like,
I expect them to be competitive.
One of our YouTube commenters was giving me heat last week.
I guess I had been pumping up DeMario Douglas,
but each of the previous two weeks, you know,
Drake May got hurt, DeMario Douglas was sick.
So it was, you know, he was so disappointing.
And he said, hey, Adam, good call on DeMarco Douglas.
I was like, okay, it's DeMario.
But how are we feeling about the DeMario Douglas
experiment right now?
He did have nine targets, which led the team
and he had seven catches, but only 35 yards.
He's 32% rostered.
Why is it that he always stops at nine?
It's not eight, it's not 10.
That's not five games, I believe, with nine targets.
You're absolutely right.
At least four.
I'll take that, but he didn't do any,
he didn't do much with-
One, one Mario.
Yeah.
Wondell.
Okay.
So I guess not that excited.
Would you rather pick up league it or DiMario Douglas?
We get it.
Okay.
And Hunter Henry had eight targets.
That's cool.
He's 58%.
Another good game with Drake May.
How do you feel about Calvin Ridley who had two catches for
30 yards in overtime going in overtime?
You had three catches for 43 yards.
He was thinking of all of I think so.
I have to go back and watch, but I don't.
You assume so I would have.
I did assume that only in regulation.
One of his catches in overtime was on Christian Gonzalez.
But yeah, it's a good game.
It's 73 yards.
It's not bad.
Are we starting him next week against the chargers?
I don't love that matchup.
I love the targets.
I think as a bi-week receiver, you can roll with Ridley.
Yeah, we've got four teams gonna buy
and seven more receivers hurt.
He's gonna be a top 20 wide receiver. Who's the quarterback this week? Oh, that's a good question. Does that matter?
Yes. Yeah, it does matter. Tony Pollard's awesome. Pollard's great. He had a great touchdown run. They
got called back too. Four straight games with a touchdown for Nick Westbrook-Kakena.
Yeah, that's wild. And this time is actually a solid game. Six targets, 50 yards.
Washington 27, Giants 22, it was the game of the week.
Yeah.
Eckler was good.
So.
This wasn't the game of the week, was it?
No, it was Green Bay Detroit
before I knew about the weather.
You're making excuses?
Yeah.
Jamie, what are your takeaways
from Washington and the Giants?
Jane Daniels is awesome. Terry McLaurin got lucky today.
A little bit.
I'm curious what happens to Brian Robinson next week because of what he said and how
they were working him out for you. But look, you know what you have with the commanders.
You're starting the quarterback,
you're starting the number one receiver.
And then when Robinson's healthy, he's a starter.
If he's not the neckler's, the borderline starter.
What do we have in Tyrone Tracy Jr.?
16 carries, 66 yards, one catch for three yards.
And-
We have the Carolina Panthers in week number nine.
Right, you've got the lead back for the Giants
in a favorable matchup and he's a must start for us. Yeah. I did my early running back rankings and
he's in the top 12. 69% snap share, 7-11 on third downs, three or four inside the 10.
He's their best running back. If Daniel Jones, when Daniel Jones is still the starting quarterback
for the Giants next year and every subsequent season, you can just start him against Washington.
Jones is still the starting quarterback for the Giants next year and every subsequent season, you can just start him against Washington, Arizona 29,
Chicago nine, Deandre Swift with six catches.
So that was, it wasn't an amazing game for him, but he got that.
That's, that's like the only reliable player right now for the commander for
the, sorry for the bears.
All right.
Well, I am as good as he rummaged in, say step up.
Yeah.
Yeah. He got open for a deep ball,
a couple of long passes. It was good. 62% roster. So let's talk about Marvin Harrison Jr. though.
And this dud. Back to the moped. Two catches 34 yards on five targets. What do you think about
him? This is after coming off 111 yards in a touchdown last week. What do you think about
Marvin Harrison? It's every time he does not get six targets, he stinks.
Right.
But the thing is like he got seven targets the week before he got five
targets this week, that should not be an 80 yard.
No, there's a line.
There's a definite line.
Heath loves this.
There's a definite line.
Firewall there.
When it gets to that six targets, six plus he's awesome.
Sick five or less?
Stinks.
How about when the Cardinals don't throw a lot,
he doesn't get a lot.
And this was one of those games where they were able
to run the ball pretty well against Chicago.
I think I'm starting Calvin Ridley over next week.
Next week they have the Jets
and they only threw 20 passes. This game.
Marvin Harrison, man, 84% started. All right, Eagles Jaguars, Philadelphia 28,
Jacksonville 23, this ended up being a very exciting game.
And-
It was 22-0 at one point.
Yeah.
How many points did the Eagles leave on the field?
75.
Ask the crowd, a lot of boos. What's the game you played earlier?
Is it over?
Yeah, no, it's over for dot dot dot.
Oh yeah, the touch push.
Maybe, it wasn't very successful.
But I tell you what, man,
Jalen Hurts is winning people fantasy weeks right now.
He's on fire.
And he made, I mean, this team is what it is.
Okay, what's your thoughts on Brian Thomas Jr.?
He had a terrible game.
He had what two for 22 on four targets.
I just assuming he wasn't healthy.
He played a lot for a guy that wasn't healthy.
It was a chest injury.
It wasn't like he was running through an ankle.
I don't know.
They, they had, I mean, the Eagles defense is good.
Like the time to realize that, like they've, they've picked up Vic Fang is good. Like it's time to realize that.
Like they've picked up Vic Fangio system.
They have good players playing well.
It's not a matchup that you're gonna get
a lot of favorable production out of.
So no concerns going forward.
Who they have next week?
The Minnesota Vikings.
Yeah, that's number one in terms of fantasy points
to receivers coming into the week.
No, you're starting him.
And then they have the Detroit Lions starting him. No question. Yeah.
All right. Next game, Detroit 24, Green Bay 14,
they made on the rain, you know?
Yeah.
Jordan was saying November rain this morning. It would have been better.
When I'm looking to, I hate, I, it was it was, it was pretty miserable.
Tom Brady was like every time something happened,
he'd reference, so that's just hard to play
when it's like this.
I don't know.
Are there anything to take away from this game?
Jordan love needs a bi-week.
That's a excellent observation.
He looked terrible, looked uncomfortable.
He didn't, he just, he didn't look right throwing the football.
Like at times he was aiming it and at times it looked like he was throwing a shot put.
It was just, do you have drop numbers yet or you don't get those till Monday?
Uh, no, I could probably look it up and see what he's got.
He had a lot of drops.
We had an interesting conversation on, on HQ this morning with the Today Show. Logan
Ryan does it with us, former defensive back, played on a bunch of teams. And Darius Butler,
also former defensive back. And they both said, which is strange to hear from a player,
and I asked him about this, they both said they did not think Jordan Love should play.
And so I said, you know, how would you guys feel if you were, you know, practicing through
the week and dealing with an injury you want to play, right?
He's like, yeah.
But we also understand like the quarterback needs to be there for us when we have a chance
to be in the playoffs in December.
And if this guy re-enters is growing, they're in trouble.
And so it was just a, the perspective caught me off guard because you typically think of
players as, you know as gladiators.
You say this all the time, Adam,
player wants to play, right?
Whenever we say they want to shut him down
or don't play him if he's not 100%.
And these guys were saying, don't play.
And so he may have been better off for his team
if he didn't play.
That interception was terrible.
Did you think he wasn't moving well?
Because I thought he was moving pretty well.
No, the interception that he could have escaped the pocket
and it clearly was like he waited and tried to see if something was going to
develop and then tried to bail himself out with the throw to Jacobs, which he
couldn't make.
Okay.
You definitely saw more of the game than I did.
I did five drops for the Packers two by Don Tavian wicks.
Thanks.
I think one of those in the end zone.
Yeah.
Uh, I, I wonder, you know, clearly in the leagues
that you were referencing Adam about Elijah Moore,
nobody's dropping these guys,
but how many people in 10 team leagues
are gonna hold on to Romeo Dobbs?
No, not in 10 team, but I would pick up Dobbs
if someone dropped a minute 12.
I'm not saying that people should.
I'm just wondering if people will.
And Tucker Kraft, you know, this is,
you know, the targets have not been there for him. He's kind of
been saved by the touchdowns, you know, so I know for me, if we
get to Thursday and T Higgins is out and Mike asecki is on my
team, and I have to make a decision like I'm going to drop
Tucker Kraft.
I'm not so sure there wasn't some type of Josh Jacobs injury.
Maybe it was minor. Yeah, he kind of walked off a little
gimp yet. He came into the game with an injury. But it was minor. Yeah, he kind of walked off a little gimp yet. He came into the game with Andrew. He was
any game like, but he had he had almost all of his production
in the first half. And then Emmanuel Wilson scored a
touchdown, but they do have a bye week. So let's just say
everything's gonna be hunky dory for them. We check on Thomas.
Okay. Thomas Schaefer. Oh, yeah, the Vikings as we record this,
the Vikings are just having a miserable game, but the Rams
were also having a miserable game. And came back and they won it in overtime.
First of all, would you have kicked the field goal on fourth and one in overtime if you
were Seattle or you would have?
Of course, that was such a stupid decision.
It was a long yard.
It was a full yard.
Yeah, it was bad.
They weren't running the ball well.
I think it was a bad decision, kick the field goal.
And then the, you know, unbelievable.
If you were a Stafford manager and they get the ball back in
overtime and all they need is a field goal to win.
How could you possibly expect him to throw a touchdown there?
It just, they usually play so conservatively
and he just went for it.
It was awesome.
He scored a 21.9 fantasy points.
He got a little lucky there.
Obviously he lost Pukin Akua in the first half.
That wasn't a punch.
It looked like a weak punch.
It was a punch?
What do you mean it wasn't a punch?
Don't throw him out for that though.
I don't know.
Anything to say about this game?
Finish with this game.
I think, I mean look, DeMarcus Robinson is now finding the end zone quite a bit with
Cooper Cut back on the field.
So we might be back to where we were at the end of the season last year.
Do you keep Stafford on your roster for the Miami matchup?
If Puka's not suspended, which why would he be?
Yes.
Yeah, I mean, it wasn't even a punch according to Jamie.
No, he's not going to get suspended.
You're not
starting him against the dolphins. I don't know. He
didn't want to start him against the Seahawks. And he was pretty
right about it because Stanford had a crummy game. And so over
time, I mean, okay, puka plays the whole game. Is he gonna do
that? He was much better without puka than he was with him. He
did not play well. He was awful. He did not play well. He was
miserable in the first half. Both offenses were pretty gross
in the first half. And then were pretty gross in the first half.
And then they both kicked it into high gear in the second half.
And I think he would have figured it out.
This is a fair question.
Responding to Jamie's not a punch.
How many teams does Jamie have puka to Kua in?
10 of 30.
10 of 30? That's a lot. That's a lot.
Heath, thank you for convincing me to start JSN.
Oh, yeah. Good.
I said something right today.
Yeah.
All right.
We get great.
Good stuff.
All right.
I think I'm done with that game.
I don't really think there's much unless no, there's just not.
I mean, are you worried about Ken Walker?
No, not really.
So either.
No, I think there are offensive lines going to get healthier. And after they're by their team will get healthier. And hooray for the for these two teams.
Good fantasy teams. He had 13 fantasy points. If that's a bad day, if he scored
13 without a touchdown. No, that's pretty good for him. Yeah, it's not running the
ball great last few weeks. All right, we are out of here. Thank you so much,
everybody. Have a great night. Thomas. Okay I wanna know, is Thomas okay? He's fine.
Come on, look at that hair.
He's great, he made a great trade today.
Did he?
He traded that bum Jamar Chase for Rico Dowdle
and JK Dobbins and got somebody else in the deal too.
Jamar.
Yeah, remember when I got McCaffrey?
Remember when I traded for McCaffrey the other day?
That was pretty cool.
Yeah, was your trade better with Heath or mine?
Mine.
I think.
All right. Good night everybody.
We'll talk to you later.
Did you win an FFT this week Heath?
No.
Failed.
See you on Beyond the Box Sports.
See you on Beyond the Box Sports.
He's beyond my game. Later.
Oxford, excuse me, I'm on my way. Later.
