It's backup quarterback week.
Let's get those lineups set on Fantasy Football today in five.
Good morning. We got a game coming up in about an hour, 25 minutes or so.
Adam Azer and Heath Cummings here helping you with your week nine lineups.
And let's just go through all the quarterback news. Deshaun Watson's going to start.
What does this mean for Watson and Cooper, et cetera?
Yeah, I would view Watson as the lowest of low end QB tws, not someone that I'd really want to start or trust.
He's an injury risk,
and he's not been particularly good this season.
But if you have to, it's fine.
What about Cooper?
It's a slight boost for Amari Cooper
and a slight downgrade for David Njoku.
Okay.
Clayton Toon starting for Arizona.
Marquise Brown?
I'd rather not.
Cooper over Brown.
Cooper and Brown is a low-end No. 3 wide receiver.
Trey McBride's a low-end tight end one.
This team has an implied total of 12.75, the lowest I can remember seeing.
My goodness.
Brett Rippin likely to start.
And that game is in the early window, I believe.
Yes.
One o'clock at Green Bay.
And Puka Nakua is expected to play.
But Kupa and Nakup, those two guys.
I've basically just taken Devante Adams, Jacoby Myers, Puka Nakua, and Cooper Cup
and ranked them 21 through 24 in my wide receiver rankings.
I'm trying to start all four of those guys,
but I have very, very little confidence in any of them.
Interesting. Okay.
Jaron Hall, to start for Minnesota,
could be without his left tackle, Christian Derisaw.
Where's Addison in that group?
Addison is behind all of those guys.
He's not Cooper Cup or Devontae Adams.
He's not played quite like Jacoby Myers.
Low end number three, behind Marquise Brown.
I'd rather sit Addison if i can okay and no
connell's gonna start for the raiders we talked about that so let's get to some running back news
here aaron jones you know it's it's certainly not definitive it's a little fuzzy but he could be off
his snap count um i forgot the quote that uh matt lafleur had but something like he's
i he's gonna blah blah blah like's going to play him more basically.
And I read another report that said that the snap count might end this week.
So are you more optimistic about Aaron Jones?
I am.
And part of it's about Aaron Jones.
And part of it's about like, we talk about the running back blob or I did earlier this
week about the guys who like, I mean, who knows that Jerome Ford and Alexander Madison
and Daryl Henderson and Chuba Hubbard and all those guys. Jones ahead of the blob for me now.
So that makes him a top 20 running back right behind Rashad White and Ramondre Stephenson.
I think those three fit perfectly.
You don't know if you're getting any efficiency at all.
You don't actually know the number of touches you're getting, but they've got a lot of PPR upside.
Okay.
Apparently they, quote, ready to cut him loose.
That's what Matt LaFleur said.
Well, I hope that doesn't mean that he's going to be a free agent.
Amari DiMercato is out.
Do you want to start an Arizona
running back at Cleveland?
I do not at all, John, even a little bit.
Keontae Ingram is my favorite.
He's got right around RB36 for me.
He's behind the blob.
So you'd start Aaron Jones over Jerome Ford?
Is that what you said?
I would, yes.
And I've got them projected very similarly.
I have more concerns that Kareem Hunt and Pierre Strong are involved,
and that's another 300 monster.
Okay.
Josh Downs is expected to play,
but he's going to test his injury in pregame warm-ups.
And he's been a pretty reliable guy.
So if he plays hurt at Carolina, do you start Josh Downs?
I would start him over Marquise Brown and Jordan Addison,
but he's behind the Raiders and Rams.
And Josh Palmer is out.
Jalen Guyton could make his season debut,
but how do you feel about Quinton Johnston at the Jets on Monday?
I'd like to have him stashed on my roster.
I have zero interest in starting him.
He's not a top 48 wide receiver for me.
And then we've got a Heath criticism in the chat here.
Good.
Scott White originated the blob.
How dare you?
What do you mean?
Is it a credit, Scott, every time?
Or isn't it just honoring him by using something he created?
I love it.
All right.
I didn't mean to click on that one but we'll read it anyway
roshan johnson kenneth gainwell or jeff will really oh thanks thanks adam thanks for that
one definitely gonna get that one right roshan johnson uh amari cooper or cooper cup i'm going
cup trey mcbride or tasem hill i'm going trey yeah it depends i will go Trey and full PPR, Taysom Hill and everything else.
Romeo Dobbs or KJ Osborne?
Ugh, Dobbs.
T. Higgins or Aaron Jones in PPR?
I don't have a whole lot of confidence in either.
I'm looking at the projections.
11.89 for Higgins, 12.30 for Jones.
Let's go Aaron Jones.
All right. Romeo Dobbs. Did's go Aaron Jones. All right.
Romeo did that one.
Did we do that one?
Puka.
Okay, Puka.
Puka or Godwin?
Godwin.
And last one here.
I drank a seltzer water the moment I woke up this morning in honor of Heath.
It's going to be a great day.
You're making an impact on people's lives.
Great stuff.
