Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, Mike Wright. It is the official footy awards episode. We'll be dishing out some awards. Big time here today, fellas.

Lots of footies will be in the mail after today's show. We have your votes. We had a week worth of voting. We've got the winners, and we're going to reveal them on the show today. I had just an unbelievable amount of requests from celebrities. Sure. Like, they were all, they were all trying to get in. Right.

They're like, dude, we were at the Golden Globes, Yon, or whatever. Is that the one that just? That's the one that's, yeah. Like, who cares? Yeah. Who cares? They were like, we want to be on the footies. And I said, unfortunately, we have very limited seating in the recording.

Yeah, it's very similar to us. We had wanted to be on the Golden Globes. Yeah, yeah. They were like, seating is limited otherwise. They're like, you're no smartless guys. You're no Amy Polar. Amy Polar, first ever podcast winner. No, this is the more prestigious.

We were nominated for that, right? The Golden Globes. Yeah. I didn't check. I stay focused on... That's what it was. I stayed focused on football. It's what it was.

This weekend I was busy. If I had been invited, I would have declined because there were some good games on. Yes, the playoffs. There were some very good games on. Oh, man, there was. What a great weekend of football until the night time. And then the Patriot game. Yeah, that game was terrible.

But also, it wasn't just terrible. It was terrible because of how incredible every other game was. Yeah, it was wild. Honestly, we asked, Al Borland not to be here because he's not in the studio today. Because he would have just taken the Poopias Pants Award from the actual winner, but he's not here. As a Packers fan, I don't know if he ever comes back. He was unwell.

He was genuinely unwell. I had to text him to see if he was okay. Here's the thing is we don't remember what that's like. No idea. To care about our team? To care about an NFL team. Like, we've all been unwell for fantasy. purposes. Jason's pretty much every week.

But, like, the last time, when's the last time you were stressed out for a Cardinal game? Years. I don't. Well, they didn't, they didn't stress this out the year they got clobbered by Aaron Donald, the one playoff appearance that Kyler made. They didn't stress this out then because it was over before it started. Yeah. Yeah, it's been all the way back to.

Super Bowl, 2000. No, no, no, no, no. We had the Carolina Conference Championship game with Carson Palmer and and that green bag. No one cares about the Cardinals. Yeah. But Packer fans, I mean, he was in a bar. So he's on vacation.

He was taking his son and wife to Universal, but they drove out early enough to make sure they could be in a bar to watch this game. He was surrounded by Bears fans. Which started real well for him. So he had talked a big game. He had talked a lot all the way into halftime. So I don't think that that helped. 21 to 3, Packers lead.

Yeah, it should have been more. Should have been more. But, yeah, the games are crazy. We'll talk about it in the next. news and notes because we'll talk about some of the injuries as well, which will have fantasy implications on into next year. But we do have a quick question before we get to that. Dude, I totally forgot about George Kettle. Yeah. Yeah. We'll forget for another minute or two, and then we'll remind you. Now I'm sad. If you had to make one hot take now for the next season, what would it be?

Because it's never too soon for a hot take, right? People love them hot. This is like boiling hot, right? I'll hop in because mine is, it feels extra hot due to what just happened last. night, which was due, do, do. After completely embarrassing himself and the Chargers in a playoff collapse, again. You Herbert people. I know.

You Herbert people. My hot take is Justin Herbert. He wins MVP next year. Throws for 4,500 and 40 plus touchdowns. Has the best record. And I think that next year, and for fantasy purposes, Justin Herbert's going to be a monster next year. So this is just your way of saying that.

Slater and Joe Alt would be okay. Yes, exactly. Their offensive line is going to be good. And Hampton will be okay. And yeah, the weapons, the team I think that... Gero. Gero might be gone. Gero and Hardog are on on the outs with each other. I don't know that that's bad, Mike. I don't know. Historically, we were not like the biggest fans of Gero. Greg Roman. So TBD on whether Greg Roman retains his job, but there is no way that that offensive line stays as injured.

going into next year as it was this season. I think that what we saw from Herbert through the course of the year was him overcoming a lot to be pretty darn good for most of it. And next year, if he doesn't have to overcome so much, I think he'll be great. That team does feel like something always happens. Yeah. Towards the negative side. The finality of the playoffs, it always hits really hard when you've got, you know,

we hyper-analyze every moment of this long season and then they're just gone. I think that Herbert is a very, very good quarterback. But, dude, it's been a long time. Oh, yeah. He has not thrown more than 26 touchdowns in a season since 2021. We were asked for hot takes, Mike. Yeah, I mean, I have just the, I'm just pushing back against the Herbert people who just support him no matter what. It does feel like when you see greatness ever, you're always.

making excuses as to what's in the way of it again, because there's the potential for it to come back. And that's tough. I mean, like, we'd all say Matthew Stafford's an amazing quarterback. Yes. But there's long, long stretches of his career where fantasy-wise it wasn't, like Stafford might win MVP. He also had a 40 touchdown year with Calvin Johnson.

And then there was all the years in between then and now. He was still the same Matthew Stafford. Yeah. It's just weapons, timing, situation. He was at least getting over 4,000 passing yards. Okay. It's Herbert has not done in the past three years. All right.

Look, it's a hot take. It's a hot take. It's not a cold take. Cold take would have been like Herbert's going to stink again. It's Piscy. Here's the one I'm going to get into because it deals with the hometown team, which, look, the Cardinals are very good for fantasy this year on a lot of fronts. They're going to hire a new head coach.

The new head coach is going to have a press conference and talk about how important it is to make Marvin Harrison a superstar. And so my hot take is that. he won't be and that it'll be Michael Wilson again. What we saw from Wilson over the back half of the year was awesome. I wouldn't say this is the hottest take to say that Wilson's going to outperform Harrison, but I'm going to tell you right now that the pressure, the pressure to buy into Marvin Harrison will be strong again. He will be the Kyle Pitts of the wide receiver position going into year three. He was hurt. He should be great. So the draft capital. Just wait a couple of years on Marf.

For one good game. Yes. For one really big game. Yeah, I just think that there's no way that, like, I'll probably fall victim to this. At some point in the off season, I'll be like this is, it's going to finally work for Marvin Harrison. And what I'm saying right now is I think Michael Wilson proved what kind of receiver he really is. I like that you said he outperforms Marvin Harrison. So even if he's not great, he's got a chance to come. He just has to be the best wide receiver in Arizona. Yeah.

Fantasy-wise. Exactly. You were not here for the footcast last week. Mike and I kind of got to talking about Michael Wilson a little bit, a little bit deeper, just because what was the skinny. I was pouring a little bit of cold water on the outrageous awesome Michael Wilson breakout only on the basis of basically from week 11 on when when the whole breakout happened. Jacoby Versette was on pace for 700 pass attempts. Like that's not, that's not normal, not sustainable, not going to be what the offense

is, and even if Michael Wilson were to retain his target market share, his percentage of, you know, everything. Everything percentage-wise stays the same, but you're like a team that throws 525 times. It's like nowhere near as relevant. Yeah, I mean, it's just my... It's probably a fair argument.

All right. I don't like the fact that this man was still using a cane after recovering from his knee being torn up. But my belief I mean, started a couple months ago. I think that Jackson Dart, the Jackson Dart, Malik neighbor's stack will be the league winning stack of next year.

This is full stop. This is wonderful news. I have both of those players. And Mike, I don't know if your premonitions ended after Gen 1? Well, I don't, I mean, it was, I already had it. But I would be. I'd be thrilled if you were right about this. Like, you have been about it.

everything else. The, well, I got, I got the Jacksonville game wrong. That's true. You both did. You both, you both, you both did. Yeah, we did. We did. I like the swag and confidence. Yeah, after.

Should have seen my man in slack. Oh, I was sweating. You were about to have a stroke. That game was so close. Listen, Foot Clan, it's offseason. I'll just give you the skinny here. On the show, I've been very vocal. This is Josh Allen has to do it this year.

Yes. There's no choice. My whole argument about him beating Jacksonville was that at the end of that game, he just has to win. Which it kind of played out that way. Now, if they had lost that game, not only would you two have been right, which is terrible. Just terrible. Like one of the things I live to not have true.

Understandable. Which is a hard life to live. It is. It happens so often. It's been one of the worst parts of my life. But then like, then Allen's out and what I thought about Allen is over with. And I may have bought like some pretty good Josh Allen sports cards that I really need. You are invested.

I'm invested in Allen because I believe I have strong. conviction about the bills. Now they're going to have a tough task against Denver. But we'll get into all of that. So we've got news to break down and all the games before we get to the footy awards. Lots coming up. News and notes from around the league. The weekend started off with the Rams.

Oh, man. The Rams barely squeaking by the Carolina Panthers, who their fans would like us to give them a tremendous amount of credit, which I will. If you can push the Rams to 31-34, give up a crazy touchdown at the end. Both things can be true of the Panthers, in my opinion, didn't deserve to be in the playoffs because of what their record was in the regular season. They weren't a bad team by any stretch. They had some truly elite performances on the defensive side of the football during the regular season.

I mean, they beat this Rams team earlier. It was just when you're 8-9, you shouldn't have, you shouldn't have. have a playoff spot. You shouldn't have a home game for sure. But they, they took them to the brink. The Rams and the Jags game kind of did, it was the same thing. It was, you know, just got real tight and then the best quarterback on the field won the game. And Bryce Young was unfortunately unable to, I mean, there was a whimper that final drive. It was a bummer. The fantasy implications of this game for me were the comments by Rico Dowell, leaving, you know, leaving this performance. He came out. I mean, he only had nine yards in this game.

He was one of my prize picks was under, and they just didn't run the ball well at all. Right. A lot of it had to do with the Rams defense. But he said, like, basically the lack of opportunities, it's going to play a huge part in where he goes this off season. He says he wants to be somewhere where he gets the majority of the work. I hate to break it to you, Frico Dowdell. That's not going to happen. It could happen. I think it will happen. It's not, it's not, have you seen the list of free agent, say nothing of. Okay. There's free, like the free agent running back market? Yeah. I mean, I'm just saying Rico is not in the top two or three. There's there's Kinbone Walker.

There's Breece Hall. There's Travis E.TN. Like if a team is going to go out there for a bell cow and say, hey, opportunity, we need a running back that we're going to give a ton of work to. They're not going to go out and get Rico. So I just, I agree with Rico's hopes and desires. I'm happy that he feels that way. But there's a lot of quarterbacks out there that want to start where they just can't. I suppose he had the same ambitions leaving Dallas last year.

Right. But my pushback would be there he's not he's not in the same tier couldn't he go and be the New York jet starting running back next year? Couldn't Rico do that? I'm looking at teams right now. I'm saying there's there's going to be teams

that don't want to pay the Breesall price that don't want to pay well Briseall is the only one I think you're like that guy's getting paid. Ken Walker should get a decent contract. He might just go but right back to Seattle over Walker. Yeah, that could happen. I

I think Rico ends up with a starting job, but he is, he's 28, so he's not like Brees Hall and Walker, but what about, what about Kansas City? Sure. Just go, just be the new Cream Hunt, just soak up a bunch of touchdowns. Tennessee, Kansas City, New York, the Jets. It's funny about this statement. I feel like the Panthers, the Panthers are only going to be in the running for Rico

if he goes out and no one's offering him stuff. Correct. Because the Panthers have all the money in Chuba. You can't. And Jonathan, Brooks should be back. Yeah. You can't give two guys a starter contract. No, no, no.

That would be a waste of money. The Packers. And you got Giovante. As a free agent? Yeah, yeah. Who showed better than Rico this year. Yeah, yeah. The Packers 27, the Bears 31.

Oh, brother. One of the greatest games I've ever seen. That was. How did they keep getting away with it? the one crazy stat. I mean, there's a million crazy stats on this game. But on the course of the season, the Bears ran zero offensive plays while in the lead.

And they won two-thirds of the games. Wild. That seems impossible. I know. That's what it's crazy. That just means you take the lead on the final possession and don't touch it again. That's the only way for that to happen. So,

McMannis? The Jake. Oh, man. Kickers, kickers be kicking this weekend. Tyler Loop was thrilled with McManus's performance. Yeah.

And the, I mean, this is why we got to get kickers out of football. It was a really far kick for Cam Little, you know, and high stress that are right at the end of the hurry up, go kick this field go. They probably shouldn't have been allowed to kick in the first place.

But it was a, what, a 50 plus? And if he drains that, it's a tie game. You do like, expect every kick no matter what to go in in the playoffs. Yes. Like you need to be a hundred percent as a kicker. The Bears, the fourth down play.

Oh my goodness. By Caleb Williams was un, nobody can do that. Nobody can do that. His leg was hit as he's like jumping out of it. And then Rockets a ball 30 yards downfield on the button. It's, it was and that play doesn't happen and they don't.

I mean, really, it's one of those. 27 to 16 at that point. That game is over if that isn't incomplete path. There's like 12 plays where it's like if this one play didn't happen, they can't possibly win the game and all of them happened, which has been happening for the Bears all season long. Like it's the exact opposite of what you're used to from the Bears. They just keep winning these games from behind.

Here's the top five teams in percentage of the game that they're trailing. The Giants. For offensive snaps. Yeah. So offensive snaps. in the lead, are they trailing? The giants or the only one team made the playoffs, and it was the Bears at 49%.

Vikings, Buccaneers, dolphins, giants or the other ones. And they just overcome. And now you go into this next game. Look, everyone's going to say the Rams are going to run away with this game. They're not. They're not going to. Well, they might for three quarters, but watch out. The Rams

have to go to a 15-degree soldier field. California boy, Matthew Stafford slash dome boy, Matthew Stafford in the elements. This is going to be, I don't, I'm not saying that the bears are going to blow them away or anything. I just think it's going to be an amazing game again. Yeah, it should, it should be really fun.

So far, the playoffs. Do we have a line yet for that game? I'll check. I bet we do. Kyle would probably chime in if you have it, Kyle. What do you think it is? What do I think it is? I think it is, I think it is the Rams minus one and a half.

I was going to have one and a half. It is the Rams minus three. a half. Wow. Keep doubting them. That's probably fuel for Chicago. I'm just, it's exciting.

It's fun. Colston freaking Loveland. Oh, you're going to talk. Whoa. Missed Loveland. They're only, only Tray McBride and

do I want Brock Bowers with a rookie or do I want Caleb Williams with Colston Loveland next year if I had to choose? Mike, which would you choose to go into the season? That is. I know we're riding high. We can, we got the whiffs of,

of excellence. I've got the vapors. I mean, I need a fainting couch. Jason, you made the comment this afternoon. It's perfectly appropriate. Stop worrying about all the other wide receivers. Just say who's the best pass catcher on the team. It's Colson.

It's lovely. I prior to this game, and I'm, I said this last week, which really made Jeremy unhappy, but I was hoping the Bears won because I want to see one more game with this offense to just get clarity when Rome is healthy and DJ Moore is out there and Luther Burden breakout as happened in the rearview mirror. You just got that.

Yeah, and it was like, oh, so it's Loveland. So now we get another sample this coming week against the Rams. It wasn't just all the targets in the yards. I mean, it matches. 15 targets. Loveland had the most routes, like the most snaps out there.

I mean, ahead of Rome, ahead of burden. How'd full come at, dude, Jay? That was. How many you catch this did you need? Nobody throws more random names into their prize fix than you do. From every once in a while you, that was the one that hurt me this week.

Tommy Trimble, baby. They were running a lot of three wide. Honestly. And then it was just, there was Mr. Loveland. Cole Comette was not out there. Cole Comette was out there towards the end of the game. You ran in motion and was wide open.

Colcomat is a good player. Yeah. But yeah, you kind of. So is Michael. Mayor. Michael. It's irrelevant. All right, we'll take a quick break

and then we'll come back and talk through the other matchups and get into the footies. All right, we're on the other side. We're talking, man, did I sweat? The Bills, 27, Jacksonville 24. In this game, Gabe Davis suffered in a season-ending knee injury. Same knee, right?

Same knee looked very bad. We also found out before the game, Josh Palmer's on IR. So for the bills, to keep going on, it's going to be Brandon Cooks getting involved. going to be Shavers getting involved, which Brandon Cooks with the huge catch.

Yeah. It's like what? Yeah. I mean, that play was crazy too. That was the big time type of play. At the line of scrimmage, changing the play, back foot throw before a Cook's breaks open and just chucks it. I would say the big time play was a

quarterback sneak for 10 yards and a touchdown. What? That was unbelievable. What happened on that play? There wasn't even a defender who just was that turned around and watched it happened. Was that a like huddle thing of like if he gets the first down? Do you just let him roll all the way in? I don't sure felt like that from 40 yards out. Dude, it really, really felt like that. I don't know if that was actually the call because

well, look, they definitely. I think it was the only play for the Jags at that point. There's always, there was the great debate, the never ending debate of do you take. You got to get the guy by getting the sword through yourself. It's the only move you had left. Oh, to be able to get the ball back. To be close enough to get to the neck. But then look, a minute left on the clock. Trevor Lawrence had an opportunity, first pass. I mean, that one was not Trevor's fault.

I thought a lot was Trevor's fault. I thought that pass was Trevor's fault. Did you? I hit him in the hands. You got to catch that ball. It was a little, it was a tight, tight window. And so there was just a high risk throw on your first pass attempt. Yeah.

But I mean, whatever. Look, Jacksonville had an amazing season. It's over. Yeah. It's over just like that. You had Brian Thomas Jr. score here. You had Parker Washington.

Parker Washington is apparently really, really, really good. The highest likelihood is all four of those guys are there next year, and we all have to be like, uh-oh. That's the high, I mean, Parker Washington was a six-round pick. He's on a rookie contract. Brian Thomas Jr. is on a rookie contract. Travis Hunter, obviously brand new rookie, rookie contract. And Jacob Myers just signed an extension. So it seems like all four of those guys are going to be.

It feels like they should be playing Travis Hunter at cornerback. Well, that is one thing that'll get brought up, but he was also breaking out a wide receiver and as a weapon. Like if you make a, you can make an authentic argument why each of those four is the best wide receiver, fantasy wise next year at the end of the season. Yeah. I think you can.

I agree, which is gross. That's terrible. Yeah. Well, it's just, you know. Draft Lawrence. You know who needs one. Buffalo. Yeah.

They could use one wide receiver as good as those four. I'll never understand wasting elite quarterback years and not. I mean, they tried. They went out and they drafted Keon Coleman. Was that a first round or the second? Shout out, Matthew Golden for his touchdown. When Golden and Coleman are making plays in the playoffs, you're like, oh my gosh.

Golden has never won a game that he scored a touchdown in. So that is. It's one of the hot stats from the weekend. The 49ers found away. George Kittle. Uh-oh. Oh, that's... If I had sad music to hit... Oh, it's confirmed. Yeah. It was actually

immediately confirmed by Shanhan after the game. It was before that. Mid-game, it was confirmed by the tequila bottle delivered to George Kittle. Yeah, I did see that. They were like thinking maybe it was for him. George Kittle out. 49ers, 23. He's... He's 32 years

old right now. So, let's say he makes it back halfway through this season and plays in 2026. You're not going to have the same George Kittle right off of an Achilles injury. Yeah, and he's not going to be there at the beginning of the year. Right. That's what I mean. So he's basically deleted this year. And then the following year when he's 34, still with an Achilles injury, this really does feel like that's the end of George Kittle as a very important fantasy asset. It would probably never happen again. Also means in San Francisco, we'll have to figure out some past-catching weaponry in this offseason,

more than they maybe thought they had to. No, Ayuk, who they thought was going to be under contract long time. Pearsall has not been good enough or healthy enough to be the only player you were lying. I imagine there'll be a landing spot in some discussions for free agent wide receivers. Although, Joanne Jennings. Jennings. Jennings. He's been the real deal.

He's good. I think Pierceall is good, too. Did the 49ers win or did the Eagles win? Eagles lose? I think I feel like both deserve credit. Both deserve credit. The Eagles deserve credit for losing in spectacular fashion with an offense that is so doggone bad. There's no pass rush from the 49ers. And that didn't matter. It just didn't matter. It was complete ineptitude. Obviously, we saw the in-game infighting between Siriani and AJ Brown, which turned out to be a great coaching decision because the second half, A.J. Brown really came on strong as he disappeared. I think he's,

and I don't know what they do with that contract. Obviously, their office of coordinator, this is the day after, and I can't believe we don't have news that he hasn't been fired yet, but it's coming. Everybody knows. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, he's packed. Yeah, for sure. He's 100%. I'm ready to go. He's ready to go. And look, it's just, it's wild. AJ Brown, big drops, man. You want the ball? Catch the ball. Eagles fans...

They agree. They're very impatient. At least the sentiment that I have seen from Eagles fans is they want to borrow our cannon. Yes. Because they want to load everyone into the cannon and fire them into the sun. Yeah. Well, we've got more guys to send out before they can borrow it. And then the boring one, Patriot 16, Chargers 3.

was the with the hot take immediate reaction. The Patriots still haven't beat a good team this year. Kind of true in this one. I mean, I wouldn't say that the Patriots played well. No. I would say the defenses for both teams played very well. The first touchdown pass, the only touchdown pass at the game came with nine minutes

left in the fourth quarter from either team. Drake May made plays with his legs. I thought that were awesome. I thought Ramandre was the best offensive player on either side of this game. They should have kept feeding him the ball. He was from the beginning to the end. He was so consistent and just a very... So good in the passing game.

Yeah. He was very good. The Patriot's defense was outstanding. Afterwards, after the game, there was reports that, like, Chargers were going and talking to, like, the Patriots defenders going, like, we had no idea what your coverage was. And so it's Vrable. Rable's a good coach.

It's really hard not to see them getting through this next round, too. Because they're just going to play the winner of the Steelers, Texans, and anything can happen, I know. But you're going to be at home, right? Yeah. So, I don't know, they look great on the defensive side, and if their offense can figure it out. I feel like a lot of our commentary on these games

is going to make other fan bases mad. That's what I realize while I'm talking. Yeah. Oh, of course. People are, this is a sensitive time for a lot of people. Yeah. And when we make jokes, they can hurt. And so.

We're recording this before the game is played. So we don't have a reaction. If I was going to have a reaction, I'd be like, Oh boy. I'd be like, that's what happened. Here's my reaction. That's what happens when you have a pass rush against Aaron Rogers. That's what happens.

Yeah. That's how I see it going to. Probably true. But this one might be pretty boring as well. Yeah. We'll see. We don't know. We're talking about it.

So last year was Josh Allen.

This year you got Gibbs, Henry, Jonathan Taylor, Trevor Lawrence, Pooka and Akua and Cow Pitts all had monstrous performances. Now I'm curious if you guys have thoughts on this. Who did you vote for? I wanted to vote for Derek Henry because he helped carry my team to a championship. I gave it to Kyle Pitts. I did too. Oh, wow.

I did too. I voted for that championship week, Derek Henry, because it was championship week. All right. And the winner is, drum roll, please. Derek Henry, week 17. The Yetty. Yeah, the Yeti scores 45 and a half fantasy points, 36 for 216 and 4, with 31% of the vote. And the runner-up was, indeed, the best tight-in performance of all-time Kyle Pitts in week 50.

I mean the 25% to 31%? Yeah, that's pretty close. But the king, your trophy, is in the mail. We... Do they ship to Cabo? We should... We ship everywhere, Andy. In the footies, we should see in the percentage of people, how many people are champs?

You know what I mean? I'm like, because, you know, the audience of the show, it fluctuates. Yeah. You should stick around because we're here all year long and we're giving out good content and good stuff, but I mean. A lot of the people who stick around, stuck around because they were, they were champs, yeah. So, I mean, you know what I mean?

Like, if I'm a champ, you might want to vote for Derek Henry because it's like the Jemir Gibbs week was bigger. Yeah, that was amazing. It was week 12. All right. However, this year, the nominees were Malik Neighbors, Jaden Daniels, James Connor, Sam Leporta, Garrett Wilson, and Mike Evans. Which injury hurt us the most? Drumroll, please. Oh, Malik Neighbors with a 70%. He ran away with it? I didn't run away, limped away with it, whatever. Or which way with his cane?

I thought Jaden was going to win. What? I did. No. Yeah, I don't know. If you have two canes, is that a, officially crutches? Or could somebody actually have two canes?

I think that's a walker. I think a cane looks really cool. If you have to have like a limp and walk with something, a cane is cool, but two canes. Would you rather look cool with two canes, but you still have to lift yourself the way you do with crutches, but you don't get the... Oh, that would be tough on the arms.

Yeah. Who won it? Malik neighbors. Yep. 70% of the vote. All right. Our third award, the Pupius Pants Award. This is the player who,

despite high expectations, let fantasy managers down over and over again. Filled their pants. Yes. In 2024, the winner was Travis E.T.N. who ended up bouncing back having a great year. This year's nominees were Justin Jefferson, of course, in the first round. Lamar Jackson.

Interesting. Brian Thomas Jr., Ladd McConkey, Marvin Harrison, Chuba Hubbard. And the winner is. It's a gross list. With 52% of the vote. Okay. Justin Jefferson. Oh no.

Whose pants have been filled in part by his quarterbacks. Yeah. 52% of the vote. There was a two-sum going number two there. That is not your poop, Justin. Take those pants off. Someone has pooped in my pants. That's right.

That's right. Do you want to guess the runner up? Several people pooped your pants, Justin. No, multiple people. Runner up was Brian Thomas? Brian Thomas. Brian Thomas Jr. 36%. I thought Brian Thomas

might take it. Jefferson had a few games for us. Yeah, well, too little too late. I mean. And too little even on the good ones. Yeah, for sure. Could you imagine like going into this season that if I said Justin Jefferson plays 17 games is not injured and will win the poopiest pants award, the putty for the poop. That seems impossible. That's right. All you got to do is play, but apparently you got to have a quarterback. All right. Next up, the waiver wire. wonder, this is always one of those picks that wins championships for people, which on drafted

WaverWire Stud was the best signing. He had a ton of options here. Trevor Lawrence, awesome. After he got picked up, Jacoby Brissette, we couldn't believe how often he was still allowed to be a streaming candidate. Rico Dowdle, Woody Marks, Kyle Munungai. Do, do, do, do, do, do Christian Watson. Once he returned from injury, was very good. Wondale Robinson, sneaky good this year. You had Cuge, Michael Wilson, Alec Pierce, and Harold Fanon, Jr. Do you know where Wondale finished? I want to say it was like wide receiver 17 or something?

19. And he didn't play in the final week. Crazy. All right. Well, let's see if he won. Drum roll, please. He didn't. Oh.

The winner was, by a wide vote, Michael Jerry Rice Wilson. Wow. Yeah, that was my vote. 84% of the vote runner up to give you an idea of there's a lot of different options here with that many names to have someone get 54% is surprising. The second highest vote getter, Rico Dowdell, at only 11% of the vote. Really? Michael Wilson just ran away with it. Michael Wilson was the best waiver wire pickup this year.

You know, all of those other names, literally every single other name, hot and cold from the point of pickup. Michael Wilson only hot pretty much. Yeah. Maybe that's why. That's why I gave him to Wilson. I'm surprised that Rico got that far up there. Boy, he had a beautiful little three game run. I mean, you won those weeks.

All right. The fantasy quarterback of the year. We're talking the draft position, the big game performances, the impact to your teams. Last year's winner was Jaden Daniels. I miss him. Yeah, please come back, Jaden and be good at football. This year's nominees. Josh Allen,

Drake May, Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, and Matthew Stafford. Drum roll, please. Your fantasy quarterback of the year is, of course,

with 52% of the vote. It's going to be Drake, isn't it? Drake, Drake, May, it's gonna, it's gonna be May. Matthew Stafford was the runner-up. with 21% of the vote.

You know what? He's very deserving of that honor. I mean, Stafford was generally undrafted. Yeah, Stafford was late round. Yep. And I think Trevor Lawrence is equally deserving. But the next thing about- I think Stafford could have been in the Waverwire wonder.

The best thing about Drake May is he was one of those easy to target. Like we talked about this going into this season, that our two later round targets. Later-ter. were Bo Nix and Drake May because they were young guys who ran the ball. They could break out. And if you targeted him, not only did you have a great season and he exceeded all expectation, but through the playoffs and especially championship week, he finished.

You know, he did what you dream of, which is help people win championships. Fantasy running back of the year, guys. Don't let me down. We know the story here last year. Don't let me down. Last year it was Sequin. We'll be quick here. McCaffrey, Taylor, Gibbs, A. Chan, Bejohn, Cook and Henry,

Cook leading the league in rushing yardage, by the way. It's going to be CMC. Bejohn's the only one that could... Barely need a drum roll here. But let's do it. It is... Oh, wow. Closer than you thought?

Bam Knight. Christian McCaffrey with 63% of the vote. Bejohn number two? Bejon number two. number two but with 11%. Oh my goodness. Man. That's a wider gap than the Michael Wilson. Can you imagine?

It took me so long to remember Bam Knight's name for the joke too. That's about how relevant he was. Can you imagine a fantasy team with both those guys on the roster? I can. It would be a person who won both of their leagues. Yeah, that's very, very helpful for fantasy. The fantasy wide receiver of the year, I feel like there's a two-man race here

between JSN and Puka Nakua, but also in the running are Amin-Raw-St. Brown, George Pickens, who, when you factor in, draft capital, where they finish versus where you draft them, he should be high up there. And Jamar Chase, awesome studs, but the wide receiver of the year

for the footie can only go to one. And I don't know who it's going to. Oh, pretty wide, pretty. I thought this would be closer. JSN was 62% of the vote. your footy is in the mail. Yeah. Pooka Nakuwa down at 29%.

There was no other choice for me. Their stats were so similar by the year. The draft spot was just better. That's fair. That's fair. You drafted Pooka in the first, really, in the back of the first to be what he was. And JSN was like you hoped, but as many people hoped, felt like he couldn't do it with Arnold.

You have a very tough category, Mike. This was going to be. Oh, the fantasy tight end of the year? This was going to be rough. uh tray mcbride and and then a bunch of jabronies oh i want to i want to guess guess goose this with the percentages oh okay assuming it's tray mcbride which we don't know i i don't know okay uh so i'm gonna we think so mcbride kiddle pits goddart warren fan and were the nominees i'm going to set the line at 86% of the vote okay i'll take the over 86 is a good

Egbuka, Fanon, Ann Warren. And amazingly, amazingly, one of the best fantasy rookies not even nominated for maybe the future in Colston Lovelin. Oh, yes. He's not even in the list. Yeah, he didn't deserve to be in this list. All right, the winner is. That's what I think it'll be. Yeah.

You're just pointing at me. with just 21% of the vote showing how tight it was. Trayvion. Yes. Henderson. 21% of the vote. Runner up was, do you want to take a guess? The runner up was Tetero.

Tedroa McMillan. With 16% of the vote. Hey-oh. Hey-oh. I voted for Kim Skataboo. You got to vote with your heart. That's right. The heart wants.

And honestly, when I went back and looked, the Scataboo run was longer than I remember it being. Yeah, NFL was better when he was playing, man. It sure was. I mean, the Cam Scataboo run, you felt like it was three games. He didn't get injured until week eight. Yeah. Man, that did. It felt shorter. He was awesome. He is awesome. I guess because there was a time period of like him becoming the dude. And it was rough. And then he was great. Yeah. All right. All right. We are up to breakout player of the year, a.k.a. last year's Brian Thomas Jr.

I mean, I think I know... The breakout player of the year. There's an argument for a few of these guys. There is certainly. I mean, I would say there's an argument for everyone on the list. I don't even remember who I voted for. Probably George. All right. Let's find out. All right. Drum roll, please. The 2025 fantasy football breakout player of the year is Drake May with 42% of the vote. Wow. It was a pretty clear winner there.

Runner up, George, at 21%. I sort of, yeah, I get it. I mean, quarterback's a tough one because it's so impactful. but I feel like George was very deserving as well. Yeah, I mean, they both broke out into the top five at their position. What did Drake may finish? Remember he had that long run where he wasn't really finishing above nine or ten on a weekly basis? Yes, but... And then he finished so strong that it kind of wiped out out.

He finished the season as the quarterback three. Did he really? Yeah. Okay, that's pretty good. The issue with George was... George finished as the wide receiver five. We had the, what, the back-to-back weeks where it was... Like, oh, week 14, 15.

There he is. There's George who doesn't care about football and putting effort in. And then he was very good again. All right. The steal of the draft. Which player was the absolute best value in the draft compared to their ADP? Last year's winner, Brian Thomas Jr. There is no guarantee of future success.

This year he stole your draft. Yes. Oh, goodness gracious. The thief of the draft. Yeah. Brian Thomas Jr. All right. So the nominees this year

We had James Cook In the 3rd Tray McBride in the middle of the third J.S.N. at the back of the third. Devante Adams' back of the fourth. George in the 6th. DeAndre Swift also in the 6th. Chris Olive in the 7th, Travis E.T.N. in the 8th.

And Javante Williams at the back of the ninth round. So many good names. The steel of the draft. Drumroll, please. So many good names. Woo! It's tight.

I hope it's my guy. The winner was 20. 23%. The runner up was 20%. Oh. Jason and Pickens. Pickens? The winner of the steal of the draft was Jackson Smith and Jakeba with 23%. And the runner up was Giovante Williams with the 90%. Okay. Okay. Man, the steel of the draft being in the third round, that's tough to do. All right. He was very good. The comeback player of the year, which fantasy player amaze you the most in their return to relevance last year. J.K. Dobbins won this award in his great one.

Wow. You know who it was? It was Javante Williams. Yeah. The people were loving to Javent. Yeah. Story. Well, I mean, Chris Olave was unwanted and you assumed was one injury away.

It was like if I draft Olave, that's fine to get started at the course of the season. But like who do I finish the season with? Exactly. Yeah. But Javante was. Javante was a keeper for you, Papa Josh. Is that correct? We mocked that so profusely.

We were so happy. So happy. We're like, oh, man. A keeper spot? You had to waste it with Javante? And then he led him all the way to the quarterfinals. I heard an audible laugh from back there. Semi-finals.

Yeah, I know. Respect the man's third and fourth place finish. I like disrespecting it. Yeah. Sorry, the semis. Good job, Andy. All right, we are on to the Playoff King, who drove managers to championships during the coveted weeks 15, 16, and 17. Last year was Jemir Gibbs.

He did not do that this year. This year, you had the two best quarterback performances in the modern fantasy football playoff stretch of Trevor Lawrence and Brock Purdy. You had Derek Henry, including that week 17 championship. Christian McCaffrey, dog, Bijon Robinson, running back four, running back seven, running back two in those weeks, unbelievable. Mr. Olave had two wide receiver two finishes in the playoffs, Pooka and Akua, Trey McBride, dog,

and Kyle Pitts with, of course. And then Kyle Pitts. And I'm doing knees. He had the tight-in-one performance in week-old. I love all time. Tight-in one. I mean, almost everyone that played Kyle Pitts was an automatic win in that first week. Yeah, so you go on to the next round. Tide in three.

Championship week. Let's get it done. Kyle Pitts. Tide in 38. There are 32 teams. All right. Drum roll, please. Playoff King. Playoff King. I'm guessing was going to be on Mike's roster. Winner, Bejohn Robinson, of course. Yeah. That's my guy. When you are the running back four, followed by the running back seven, followed by the running back two on a week. And that running back two was like four. 40 points. I mean, Bijon was awesome, got 37% of the vote. Brock Purdy was 17% of the vote. It was great, but Bijon just did what he needed to do. It's going to be hard to win more footies this year. It really is. And then he's like, wait, wait, I can control my destiny if I suck so much. If I bum everyone out. Yeah, I can. I mean, comeback player of the year is in contention. Now it's easier for you. We do have a new award this year.

One more new award and it may be just, it may just be one year. I've been dying to know. I know a lot of people with anticipation. The new Meow Man of the Year award, nominees included players such as Mason Taylor, tight end for the New York football jets who had one reception all year while the Jets were leading and broke no tackles.
