Starting point is 00:00:06 to the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in. I told you. I told you he wasn't going to do it. I thought for sure we'd get something. I told you that there's no way he's doing it today. He knows that this is not.
Starting point is 00:00:36 No. I thought about it. Can you picket, Carson Beck is not the day for it. I thought about it. It's Larry time. Oh. That would have been great. I'm wearing his Hall of Fame hat.
Starting point is 00:00:44 But then it kind of meddles the real. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I'm with Mike. It is Larry time. Welcome into the show, Thursday, August 6th. Amazing show today. We have a new segment to debut. We got news.
Starting point is 00:00:58 We got the Hall of Fame game tonight. We've got a mock draft episode. It's going to be awesome. Jason's got a fresh Larry Fitzgerald cap upon his head because he gets inducted. His Hall of Fame cap got it at the Pro Football Hall of Fame a couple weeks ago. It's just for today. That's how into the Cardinals you are this year. It's just for today.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Well, I can represent Larry. Representing the Cardinals feels disgusting. So this is not a Cardinals at. This is a Hall of Fame Larry. I have a goal. We've had an O in like a winless team before. Detroit. We did it one time.
Starting point is 00:01:33 Have we had in, oh, I mean, the Cardinals have a chance at something special. They have a chance at Owen 21 because they're in the Hall of Fame game. They get the bonus preseason game. then they could lose three more preseason games. I see what you're saying. And then run the table in the lost column. They usually do pretty well in the preseason. Teams that suck try hard in the preseason while teams that are good are like,
Starting point is 00:01:57 we're going to try some stuff. Yeah. We're going to work on things. I will say, yes, we have seen the video, the Cardinals video that is making the rounds. You can keep tagging us if you want. It doesn't hurt my feelings. We are getting tagged. We are getting tagged a lot.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Like, I have told you. I don't care if this team succeeds or fails. Yeah. Yeah, there they are. The offense looks... We have seen... Really bad. If you haven't seen the video...
Starting point is 00:02:25 Time for the Hall of Fame game, everybody. You need to see it because it's pretty amazing. At least we get to see Carson Beck, and he gets to see... Everything? So much of the field. Everything. He can see the field better than any human alive. That's about his eyes.
Starting point is 00:02:40 No, it's just... He's got good vision. Periphero. Yes. He was built to the field. see a lot. You know, but the, uh, I don't know if you all remember. We are out of control. Do you remember, uh, the movie Pitch Black and the monsters had a, a blind spot right in the middle? Yeah, that's, don't throw to the middle of the field. There might be. He might not be to see it. Do you remember hit Pitch Black with Vin Diesel from 30 years ago? Bro, it spawned a trilogy,
Starting point is 00:03:04 man. Respect Riddick. Pitch Black rules. Those were good movies. Thank you, Josh. If you haven't gone down with Pitch Black in a while, you really should. It's so bad. it's good. We never tied a theoretic joke into that movie back in the day. Hmm. Yeah, we made mistakes. Yeah. We have a big announcement.
Starting point is 00:03:22 You could have been pitch black. Big announcement to start things off. You can mouth trumpet, Mike, if you want to. This is the last time we're going to make this announcement. But we want to see you there. It has almost sold out the Megalus show in Phoenix. End of the month, August 28th, Friday at the Van Buren in Phoenix, Arizona. We have just released about 50 tickets that we had held back as comps and things like that.
Starting point is 00:03:51 We just released them. So there are some prime seats available at ballerslive.com. If you want to come to the live show, they are amazing. It's an opportunity to hang out with probably 800 other foot clan fantasy football fanatics. We've got a great show plan. It's going to be an awesome time. We've got some great things planned. It's about three weeks from today.
Starting point is 00:04:12 So make your arrangements. Come on out. Come see us. There's still some tickets left now that we open them up. Betsy will be there. You should sell out. It should sell out pretty soon. Do not forget presented by our friends at Sirius XM sponsored by GMC and PetSmart.
Starting point is 00:04:26 Absolutely. We're so excited. But yeah, like we're going to have, there's going to be a bunch of crew there. And I don't know what the crew are planning. Like, I don't know if they're trying to be Waldo Incognito. I don't know if they're, well, Brian, Catchman, the Biggest Luzer will probably have a giant arrow. pointing at himself probably to make sure that everyone knows who he is and then uh yeah
Starting point is 00:04:48 julia will be there doing pushups if if you if you want to do a pushup contest oh yeah julia yeah yeah she will crush you yeah we'll take 10% of the takes she can keep the 90% and uh no it'll be great so ballerslive.com if you want to get in there's a few tickets left the time is now go grab them we're looking forward to seeing you at the end of the month All right, let's get it going. Leader of the Pack, presented by PetSmart. All right, we are kicking off today's episode with Leader of the Pack. We are going to look at some situations at running back and wide receiver over the course of the next few weeks.
Starting point is 00:05:36 This is useful stuff, people. There are competitions. There are situations that a different player could end up being named the Leader of the Pack, right? And that's going to matter when you're deciding between some options. options, and this is a great one to start off with, we're going to look at the Packers' Wide Receivers. Because I think you can make a compelling argument for all three guys to be the one you're interested in this year,
Starting point is 00:06:02 for one reason or another. And maybe, you know, obviously one of those arguments is going to be more compelling to you than another. Yeah. But, you know, this is a really weird wide receiver room. In the past, you know, we've had a rotation here. no wide receiver on the roster surpassed 725 receiving yards last year
Starting point is 00:06:22 dealt with injuries Matthew Golden wasn't really a factor Romeo Dobbs was part of this team Dontavian Wix was a part of this team to start this year it could be a very confusing tough decision for fantasy players so what are you thinking about the Christian Watson
Starting point is 00:06:37 6 round pick Jaden Reed 10th round pick Matthew Golden 11th round pick how are you breaking this down Yeah it's it's very interesting because if you get it right I think you're going to have great fantasy success. The way that I view it, the upside for each one of these, right? You've got Matthew Golden first round pick.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Should be on the field in two wide receiver sets. However, early in this off season, there was some reports that it was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed working in two wide receiver sets. Now, that's been the knock on Jaden Reed is he's just a slot guy. And if you're, we want wide receivers to work in the slot, that is great for fantasy. but if you only work in the slot, you pretty much aren't on the field enough to be very relevant. Now, I do think Jaden Reed might be the best wide receiver of the three personally. He is very, very good, but they like what he does. He's also been good for fantasy in the past.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Rookie year who's the wide receiver 23. He followed that up with fewer snaps and yet was, you know, a decent wide receiver. I think wide receiver like he was top 25. And then last year was just gone, poof. So if he works into the field and two wide receiver sets, he's, great. The highest upside is Matthew Golden. But in my, I think the upside case of being a, so he's, the camp reports have been very glowing on Matthew Golden that he's finally showing what, you know, he's been making plays all over
Starting point is 00:07:58 the place. He is a great athlete, obviously has the draft capital to where the team believes in him. But I'm saying all that to work to Christian Watson, which is who I am putting my chips on, who I think is the, for fantasy football, for scoring fantasy points, the way they use him and the, you know, assurance that he will be on the field, barring injury, which is really his big problem. Yes. But if he is healthy on the field, which is the only thing we can work with, he's going to score the most fantasy points of these three.
Starting point is 00:08:29 I don't believe in Matthew Golden. Yeah, I'm very in on Christian Watson. If you've been hanging with us for the entire offseason, he is ranked extremely high for me. very bullish with the other guys gone, the talk of fewer rotations at the wide receiver position. Yeah, I think these three guys
Starting point is 00:08:48 are going to be out there a ton. The, my the question comes down to because I got Watson is on the top here. But like Reed and Golden, we had a brief moment in time. A tweet came out and said, here are the starting this is the starting offense
Starting point is 00:09:04 for the Green Bay Packers. Got down to wide receiver. There was two of them. It was Christian Watson and Jaden Reed and it was what? Jaden Reed has been only used in three wide receiver sets by by Coach LaFleur. So that was
Starting point is 00:09:20 like this weird interesting nugget I think that that kind of shook what was going on for fantasy football. But then just a few days later you had the interview with Jordan Love I think he was talking to Kay Adams and he's like Matthew Golden's the X. He's taken over for Romeo
Starting point is 00:09:36 Dobbs and it's like. And that makes the most logical sense. Yes. That was so You kind of have to project that. You have data here. I mean, with the number of routes that Jaden Reed has run with two or fewer wide receivers on the field. He ran two of them in 2023, five of them in 2024, and one route in seven games last year. They like him. They gave him an extension, $20 million guaranteed.
Starting point is 00:10:00 But they like what he does. Why would they change what he does? He's a slot wide receiver. You know, they have obviously the departure of the two other big names in the offseason, and maybe, I mean, it's not too dissimilar than Josh Downs in Indianapolis, where most of the experience of that player has been in the slot, but they like the talent of the player, so they may give them more opportunities on the outside at times.
Starting point is 00:10:22 Obviously, if an injury happens, which, look, Christian Watson has happened a lot. Sure. But if an injury happens to any of these guys, you get a lot of target consolidation that you haven't seen in Green Bay in recent years. It's tough. I mean, I think that, I think this is a situation where we're saying, who's the leader of the pack. in fantasy perspective, we all agree it's Christian Watson.
Starting point is 00:10:41 However, I think all three players are good picks. I think all three are good picks in fantasy. I don't see any consequence with shooting your shot on Jaden Reed in the 10th round. He's a player that I feel a little bit burnt on because for years I've said, I believe in the talent of this guy. They don't give him enough opportunities. And then Matthew Golden in the 11th as a first round wide receiver, who I know it was a rough start to the year,
Starting point is 00:11:03 but against Chicago, four for 84 and a touchdown in the playoffs, I just don't see how any of them are bad pitch. Reid ahead of Golden is... Yeah, I think that's pretty interesting. I agree. Read to me is the only one that I am starting to be out on. After that conversation where it was kind of confirmed that because the whole the whole concept for Reid to have success is that he is going to finally be using two wide receiver sets with Dobbs being gone. But when that conversation came out and said, yeah, Matthew Golden, the guy that they did draft to play the outside is replacing the X.
Starting point is 00:11:35 then I don't think Jaden Reed can be good for fantasy if he's not on the field and two wide receiver sets. So to me, I think it goes Christian Watson. That's the leader of the pack. Leader of the pack is Christian Watson to me. But I would love to take some shots on Matthew Golden with the camp reports that he's great. Because I will say, if you were to say which one of these players next year will we just feel really foolish? Like, duh. The first round.
Starting point is 00:12:01 The first round. Matthew Golden. No, sure. But the first round NFL draft pick that they had the guy in his way depart on a good offense in year two. If he ends up just being a really good player, next year we'll feel foolish. And it doesn't cost you anything in the 11th. Mike, how do you feel about this frame of thinking here? And yeah, I would put Matthew Golden in as the underdog that can have that relevant position.
Starting point is 00:12:26 You've always loved Romeo Dobbs. Yes. I think we've all respected the talent of Dante Ben Wicks. he's had drop problems, but right now he's the two in Philly. And then you have Reed, and then you have Watson, and then you have Kraft. Like you look at that. That's five names, not Matthew Golden. Is there a chance that the Matthew Golden storyline is just not that much opportunity?
Starting point is 00:12:47 I know we say targets are earned, but as a rookie, those are five names that are pretty big names. And they ran the ball. It was a Josh Jacobs offense. Sure. It's the, I think Jacobs and like the question of, what, is this offense going to be? Does Jacobs still have enough? You know, things kind of petered out
Starting point is 00:13:07 at the end of last year. Yes, there were injuries, of course, but Jacobs is an older running back and wasn't super efficient. I mean, he was scoring tons of fantasy points. It's just can, you know, is there a step loss? That's
Starting point is 00:13:23 a, it is a fair question, I think, to ask. I've got Christian Watson by far as the leader, and my second choice, assuming you're not counting Tuckercraft because we're just talking to the wide receiver. Yeah, yeah, just wide out. It's, I would.
Starting point is 00:13:36 I'd take the shot on Golden. Yeah, it's surprising. Jane Reed's in year four. Matthew Golden only played 53% of the snaps last year. It felt like, oh, he was out there and not doing anything because he played most of the games, but he was not a full-time player. No. So he has a huge opportunity to improve.
Starting point is 00:13:51 That was. Oh, you got hit. Matthew Golden got. I feel like I just got smash in the face. I was trying to transition there, Al. Yeah, the timing wasn't ideal. I just feel like when Packers are being brought up on this show, you kind of lose your head a little bit. Is that fair?
Starting point is 00:14:11 My figure was hovering over that button for a long time. You were just waiting for... But then I was too patient. Then you're like, he's closing the segment out. It's now or never, boys. You were hovering over the button and found the worst possible time. Yeah? How did you do that?
Starting point is 00:14:25 Let's try it again. That was Leader of the Pack presented by PetSmart. Visit your local PetSmart. store or go to pet smart.com today. PetSmart, anything for pets. News and notes from around the league. Gosh, he hits the drops like Josh shoots a basketball. You know what I mean? All right.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Dude. Can we get it on the back wall? Oh my gosh. No. No. This is. I hate you guys so much. The problem is the video is so much worse than the photo, which is too.
Starting point is 00:14:59 terrible. I mean, it's not great. This is a pod. Oh, no. I mean, most people listen. Josh, I'm on your, I wouldn't. Oh, I don't. You know, you can show it. I got no shit. We need to shame. I just surveyed our audience. The majority still listens, Josh. So you're in good. We can't really convey. Oh, we can, we can convey it. It's bad. I can convey it. You know how bad Jeremy's timing was with that button? Josh's shot is worse. Way worse. We were filming something for the Phoenix Suns yesterday and we had to do a little. A little, uh...
Starting point is 00:15:30 We did a little basketball competition in the office with one of those behind the door basketball hoops. And we all took took some shots. And then everyone did pretty well. Mike, got to go close. Mike is like, for Mike to maybe say he doesn't want to show it. It's that bad as much.
Starting point is 00:15:44 It's telling you that Mike's sense of, Mike doesn't have a sense of protecting somebody's shame. It was like the first time anyone has ever thrown a ball. He tried to shoot it like he throws an axe. If you ask yourself. The ball hit the wall on the right. If you ask yourself, hey, what happens if I shoot with the opposite hand? It's twice as bad as that.
Starting point is 00:16:06 So if we get it, we'll throw it up on the screen. Oh, gosh. I'm sorry for the audio. Oh, yes. I mean, the hoop is right in front of it. The hoop is straight. Can we run that back please? Let's see this one more time.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Oh, in YouTube. I don't even know if they understand where the hoop is. YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. That's the experience and share in the shame of it. of Papa Josh, who we love. Goodness. First bit of news, the commander signed Stefan Diggs to a one-year deal
Starting point is 00:16:34 worth up to $12 million. He's 32, almost 33 years old. That puts him in the nearly Devante Adams, Mike Evans category, age-wise. Diggs is not the player he once was, but he did have 102 targets, 85 catches, 1,000 yards, four touchdowns in New England.
Starting point is 00:16:52 It's wild to think that he, you know, it's like, I already knew it, so it's not surprising now, but when I was going through the stats early in the off-season, it was like, wow, Diggs had a thousand-yard season. He did. Just felt like, where was that? It started slow. And if you drafted Diggs, like, I did.
Starting point is 00:17:09 I drafted him late. And we got to like week three. And it was. He was the wide receiver 16 in fantasy football last year. Is it going to catch on? And then it did. Are you drafting Diggs? I'm not drafting Diggs.
Starting point is 00:17:22 Well, I'm not opposed to it. Here's what I love about it. I love it for Jaden Daniels. I've been so worried about, I mean, the departure of, you know, you bring in a Conquo, we don't know what that rapport is like. He had a rapport with Zach Kurtz. McCloren, he's also, I mean, they have, they've got some age. Sure.
Starting point is 00:17:42 At the wide receiver room, Antonio Williams being there, this feels like the necessary kind of like stabilizing piece of a wide receiver room that gives me more confidence that Jane Daniels can perform week and week out in the past. 100%. This is year two off of the. ACL. I was statistically high on Jaden Daniels, but like emotionally scared
Starting point is 00:18:02 out of my mind. Yeah, yeah. So I mean Jaden's really high in our ranking, so this is good, and I don't mind you taking a shot on Diggs later in the draft. I think that he could have some PPR value. It's probably not going to be, you know, 1,013 yards and 17 games.
Starting point is 00:18:18 That is not a high number, but it's not irrelevant either. I think it really hurts the, if you were... It's about 59. yards of gain. If you were in Oconquo bro, I think that this is a massive down arrow for that situation. Or an Antonio Williams
Starting point is 00:18:36 truth. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. No, you're right, Mike. The short area targets, the stuff that they're going to fight over it now. Washington had the highest, second highest, vacated target share in the NFL, so there's room for digs. Jonathan Taylor and the Colts have reached an agreement on a two-year extension includes $39
Starting point is 00:18:52 million guaranteed. He had... Good for you, man. He had been paid, and then he wanted to get paid some and they said, all right, we're not going to fight this time. Get dash money. Yeah. I mean, two-year extension, a bunch of guaranteed money. That means Bijon, Jonathan Taylor. And then the latest report on Jemir Gibbs is that he is both going through the walkthrough
Starting point is 00:19:08 and when someone asked him if the contract extension was close, he threw him a thumbs up. So I think today, tomorrow, this week, Gibbs should get paid as well. Josh Jacobs. Oh, that was violent. Wow. He's not practicing because of
Starting point is 00:19:26 of a groin injury, a severe one according to Jason. Yeah, well, I hadn't seen this news yet. And the fact that he's on my League of Record team, it hurts me in my groin. It's unsurprising. So that was, that was just guttural. Yeah. So so far just to be clear, let me just count
Starting point is 00:19:42 down the League of Record running back room for you. Lost Jonathan Taylor. Lost Jonathan Taylor, who got that money. Yeah, you lost him in the Keeper Lottery. Just got paid. Correct. You have Travis A. Chan Jr., who we just found out Camara's going to take their down Yeah, I'm not a big fan of.
Starting point is 00:19:57 And then we have Josh Jacobs who, he's had an off season that's led to a, yeah. Okay, you're doing great. 2027, here we come. Yeah. Todd Bowles says he's unsure when J. Limelman will return to practice, banged his knee a couple days ago. Tess Johnson. Tess Johnson.
Starting point is 00:20:18 This is just a reason for Mike to, okay, what is that? Oh, we got a drop? Yeah. Okay. Oh, we got multiples. Hey. Oh, so we got Ted Hurst all up in this place. Ted Fred, Durst, Hurst, there I am.
Starting point is 00:20:34 So Ted Hurst. The only reason I don't like the drop books is I enjoy saying. Yeah, I don't know if I'll go. Yeah. Ted Hurst is, I mean, he's a talented, big-bodied, outside wide receiver. He's going to compete with Jamie McMillan. Come on. If McMillan is hurt.
Starting point is 00:20:50 It's just an interesting name to keep your eye on. I don't even know if you should be necessarily. drafting him with your last pick, but if he... You know what happens if you draft him? You get to do that. Yeah. It is fun. And I really liked the tape. I was a Ted Hurst believer before the draft and I thought he landed...
Starting point is 00:21:09 Even before the bit. I thought he landed in a great spot in trying to replace, you know, not replicate, but come into the place where Mike Evans just vacated. So it's interesting because McMillan was having a good camp and Tess Johnson was having a good camp. But there have been positive reports from Todd Bowles, from others about Ted Hurst. So just pay attention to that. Do we call him? Not what you said.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Do we go Ted Fred Durst Hearst? Yes. So I wrote it this morning both ways. And I was like, I don't like Ted Fred? I don't like Ted Hurst, Fred Durst. Oh, come on. Ted Durst? I don't know, man. Fred Durst.
Starting point is 00:21:47 There it is. I think we keep workshop. You know what time it is. Keep on rolling. baby. We're going to take a break and then we're going to mock draft. The fantasy footballers mock draft. Dude, I just got a reel of Limp Biscuit this morning. They're still out there crushing.
Starting point is 00:22:19 I don't think crushing. I think your phone's listening to you, Mike. You are mistaken, dude. This was a big crowd. They're out there crushing. And that's why we partnered with them this year on this. Mock draft time. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:22:36 12 team, half PPR, one quarterback, two running back, two wide receivers, one tight-in, one flex, four bench spots, randomly assigned draft spots. I got the number one, I got the number one spot in the draft. I don't know if I've had a mock at the top like that. Kyle and Betz right after me, Mike and Jason back at eight and nine in the draft, and we've got the writers and the editorial staff and team here on board. Papa Josh, Al Borland, also in the draft. All live picks here.
Starting point is 00:23:05 on the show. It is time to get this thing going. And I'm going to take the guy that has not gotten the check just yet, but he's going to be my 101 this year. It is Jemir Gibbs, the differentiator to me between him and the rest. He's right in that prime on a great team. So I'm going to go with Jemir Gibbs. Yeah. Jamar Chase going number two overall in this mock draft as we kick it off. Bejohn Robinson coming in at one. 103. Unsurprisingly, we go running back, wide receiver, running back as we get this thing started. I mean, do you believe, are you both in the Jemir Gibbs at 101 camp right now? I am very, very, very much in the Jemir Gibbs 101 camp, unless it came out that it truly was not a contract issue and he's dealing with injuries.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Injuries would be a reason outside of injuries. He is projected to easily score the most points by a country mile. He's on the best offense that doesn't come close to the Atlanta Falcons offense, the scoring opportunities, the vacated rushing yards and touchdowns, the depth chart with, he's competing with Pacheco. To me, he is the clear 101. Well, the pick has been made. Pooka Naku goes 104. Jonathan Taylor at 105 and J.S.N. at 106. We went running back wide receiver back and forth for the first six picks. Amon Ross St. Brown goes 107 putting Mike on the clock. Mike and Jason back to back in this draft.
Starting point is 00:24:40 That should be interesting to pay attention to. I don't like it. I mean, it's very clear, I think, where Mike's going to go, but we'll see. What are you between? I'm just, I'm taking a back of, I haven't, of all the mocks we've already done this year, I have not been in a situation to take my sweet, sweet, sweet. Christian McCaffrey, which we'll see how hungry the power station is going to be. But I'm in as running back four at this part of the draft.
Starting point is 00:25:11 So it's like, do you take McCaffrey or, you know, C.D. Lamb, I think would be the other pick that I would consider there. But I'm playing to win. All right. So CMC off the board to Mike. Jason, you're on the clock as we get towards the back of the first round. Extremely easy for me. To me, C.D. Lamb is a tear break. If you want to throw Justin Jefferson in there, great. He obviously played last year with bad quarterbacks and wasn't great. AJ Brown, Drake London. They're good players, but they are a tier down from CD Lamb to me. If I look at running back, running back is like, okay, James Cook, awesome.
Starting point is 00:25:43 I don't think he's, I don't think he's, great, Barkley, great. I don't either, but I really like Hampton. I really like Kenneth Walker. I really like Chase Brown. Like there's whoever someone's getting me and Mike's running backs in League of Recru. Yeah, someone's getting back to me after this turn. So I'm going to take Lamb. He was the end of a tier for me, very, very easy pick for me.
Starting point is 00:26:01 All right, we are, well, we saw James Cook go off the board next. So C.D. Lamb, then it's James Cook, puts Brooksie on the clock. He went Barclay in the first round. This is interesting. Barclay, as a bounceback guy, there's been a lot of talk, the change of Petulow going to Sean Mannion. Sean Mannion has said they want to go under center. And I don't know if that's great for, I mean, Jalen Hertz has played well under center, but I don't know that he'll scramble as much, but it's really good for Barclay.
Starting point is 00:26:31 or if potentially the tank gets involved. I can see tank pigs be eating into some work this year. So Jefferson goes at the 112 to cash. How are you guys feeling about the quarterback competition right now between Kyla Murray and J.J. McCarthy? I think it's just inevitable that it's going to be Kyler. I think it's going to be Kyler by a lot. and it gives me a lot of optimism around Jefferson.
Starting point is 00:27:01 Okay, that's where it went. Like, if you are feeling like it's Kyle, which I agree, the news coming out from different places does seem to be uneven on both sides of the quarterback battle. I think it'll be Kyler, so it's just, if it's him, are we confident in Jefferson being a first round pick? I went on a little bit of a soapbox yesterday at lunch
Starting point is 00:27:24 when the three of us were out there. I really, really hate. Like, we've gone too far on the level of hyperanalysis at practice in OTAs in terms of completing. This guy went 10 for 11 today. This guy went 11 for 14 today. I don't care that much and I really don't believe. I mean, there's a level where I care if a guy goes one for 11 and throws seven picks. But the small, minute details and accuracy when a player,
Starting point is 00:27:51 Kyler Murray's never been in the system. You think he's going to be super accurate on day one? of OTAs, and that's going to be what Kevin O'Connell cares about. Is day one of OTA completion percentage? He's just a much better player, so he's going to win the job. He's going to win the job because he's better. And he'll get
Starting point is 00:28:08 the system down. So Jefferson rounds out the first round, though. He goes at 112. Hampton, Chase Brown, Derek Henry. I assumed I was going to get Hampton in this draft, but that's also because I did not assume Ash and Genty would get to me. So
Starting point is 00:28:23 it went in a different order. Very easy me, I would take Ash and Gentie here. So the tight decision making there for me is the Gentie Ken Walker decision. Yes. It would be between those two. Those two have bounced back and forth in my rankings a little bit. It seems like you were very convicted on Gentie. Mike, you are back on the clock.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I am equally as convicted to not have taken Ashti Genti right there. So that worked out for me because I will not be rattled when it comes to Ken Bonn Walker, baby. The draft starting CMC Ken Walker for Mike. When he has the eighth overall pick is... Very Mike.
Starting point is 00:28:58 I just don't feel like... People don't hand us those type of starts. No, not... In the mock draft, but Mike gets it. Well... The year of Mike continues. Is all I'm saying. CMC falling to eight. I mean, I think that's going to happen in a lot of leagues. Yeah, I think that's a totally normal 80P.
Starting point is 00:29:13 I probably would have picked him at eight and I wouldn't have picked him at seven. So that's where he should be going. Well, Ken Walker and CMC for Mike, building his super team. Brock Bowers goes 206. What could go wrong with Christian McCaffrey and walk? Nothing. Nothing at all. Devon A. Chan goes at 207. I think that is a steal. A.J. Brown, Tray McBride at 209. So Bowers and McBride, three picks apart, unsurprisingly. Nico Collins at 210, Drake London at 211. The Nico pick. Betsy took him. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:48 Why does Nico feel like the least sexy pick in the first two weeks? I am completely in agreement. You know, you're not inspired by the passing game of C.J. Stroud. This is going to be a slow offense. Nico is fantastic. I mean, when he's out there, he's scoring a lot of points. But last year, it wasn't a smooth ride. You know, had some down games. But, you know, he was the wide receiver eight.
Starting point is 00:30:14 So I think maybe if he keeps getting pushed down to the back of the second, you know, it could be a value. Yeah, I think there's, it's the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, The feelings about C.J. Stroud are not strong, and that's seeping over onto Nico. Who, like, yes, there were, there, Nico had more bad games for a top tier wide receiver than you really want. But he also had a lot of great games. So I'm still in on Nico. I still believe in his talent. He's 27, so he'll still be in his prime.
Starting point is 00:30:49 And, I mean, looking at the roster construction, Betts had Bijon. so it's the do you want to start your draft with two Atlanta Falcons some people are okay with it Betsy was not yeah I don't love the decisions I have to make here at the turn with such a long wait ahead of me I want to bring it up because if you are drafting it like 101 where you've got the turn in the long wait which is 22 picks like I I'm not going to take Colston Loveland here okay that's too early for me for Colson Loveland I'm also not going to get Colson Loveland those are that's a I have to accept it because I might want him,
Starting point is 00:31:27 but I can't get him at a spot where I feel like it's the right value, and the weight is too long. He's going to go in the next 22 picks. I've got back-to-backs here. My decision-making at running back here is Jeremiah Love or Josh Jacobs. I have Jemir Gibbs. You could argue hero RB situation there gives me some time for Jeremiah Love to ascend a little bit in Arizona.
Starting point is 00:31:51 I just don't trust that team enough to make the difference. difference. I'm going to take Josh Jacobs and go running back, running back. Okay. And then I am going to, it's between, go ahead. You could be the highest of tea? I could be the highest. You mean to take both of them? Yeah. I mean, gives Jacobs love, that's a, that's a unique, interesting start. It is interesting in the fact that, like, the wide receivers here, like Olives on the table and Pickens is on the table. But there's a lot of guys I like in a lower, I mean, I like Waddle. I don't mind taking a shot on Devonty Adams, Jameson, well, Jameson,
Starting point is 00:32:26 maybe not in the same team, but Abuka, McConkey I like. There's a lot of names I like there, so that's interesting, but I'm going to go Josh Allen at 301. It's a good pick. I'm going to take Josh Allen at 301. I wasn't going to obviously go two onesies there with like a Loveland Allen. So I'm going to go Gibbs, Jacobs, Allen to start the
Starting point is 00:32:41 draft. Jeremiah Love does go next to Kyle, Pickens, and Olave. Those are the three other names I was between. Putting Al Borland back on the clock. He takes he pulls the trigger on Rashi Rice. Yeah, hopefully he's healthy. Yeah, I find myself vacillating a little bit on rice where it's like...
Starting point is 00:33:02 The entire offseason, he's been this guy where you know what he is for fantasy. And now I don't feel that way. It feels... Yeah, he is a very polarizing, like, heart brain pick. Yeah. My heart doesn't want to take rice from my fantasy football team. My brain knows what the number. numbers are. He's not cheap enough to make it a guarantee.
Starting point is 00:33:27 But he goes at 305. Kyrin at 306. Jason loves that. Tet McMillan at 307. And the boys are back to back here in the third round. Mike has Christian McCaffrey and Ken Walker. I mean, if you want to just keep it going, Mike, you want to be high tea. I think there's a D'Andre Swift out there with your name on it. There is. And I mean, based off of this room of people. I think there is a low, if I pass on Swift, I think there's a low chance that he would come back. I think in your home drafts, I would
Starting point is 00:33:59 definitely push Lynn let Swift come back to me in the fourth. Running back wise, 80P, we're talking Breast, Giovante, Scataboo, A. Chan, Jr. of the Saints. And then at the wide receiver, T. Higgins is there.
Starting point is 00:34:18 You've always loved yourself some T. Higgins? I do love, love T. Higgins. I think it's honestly coming down too. So it's my wide receiver one. I want to know for sure that I'm getting a target floor, which Garrett Wilson strongly fits that bill. Jason, I don't know if you've been reading up on Gino Smith,
Starting point is 00:34:37 which that's obviously I'm lying. I know you've been reading up on Gino Smith. I think I saw Jason and Gino on the sideline of the Chargers practice. I bring it up because it's actually been, guys, it's been positive. He's wearing red. contacts now, okay, to stop the glare. He learned this trick. Wait, well, I have not done it. I knew you were locked in on Gino, dude. Of course I'm locked in on Gino Smith. No, he's wearing red contacts. What? To help. Do his eyes look crazy? I haven't been up close. Like a demon? Like in the
Starting point is 00:35:09 thriller video? It's, I'm hoping those red contacts just lock on to Garrett Wilson. So, I mean, they definitely will. But so it's Garrett Wilson or do you take the risk? on Malik Neighbors. That he's... That he's okay. I think it's a great value. You've got to ask yourself, are you okay with that being your wide receiver one?
Starting point is 00:35:30 I can't hear any of Jason's commentary. I'm going to... Right now without knowing he's picking next. I just can't... Yeah, all I wanted was Malik Neighbors. Oh, I knew it. I knew it. I couldn't hear it without...
Starting point is 00:35:41 I figured you would want... He was being the straight man. I love Garrett Dangerous. I love Garrett Wilson, but Malik Neighbors in the Third, if he ends up healthy, even if he gets off to a slow start 70% of what he would be. It's a phenomenal pick. It is tough though with like, I mean, he is his one.
Starting point is 00:35:57 That was the hope that I had was that I could talk him off of neighbors by pointing out that he is. You don't have another wide receiver. I have C.D. Lamb. So I would trade you. It sounds counterintuitive. It's my one. My wide receiver. I want him to be solid.
Starting point is 00:36:12 But I have two, in my projections, two stud running backs. So it's like I can now wait on the running back. position and I can kind of pad more wide receivers in the meantime. There's going to be value there next round. Jason's on the clock. I feel good about it. Lamb and Gentie. I'm on the clock. I think that running backs are going to die out quicker than the wide receivers that I like. So even though I really like Garrett Wilson here, he would be the wide receiver I would take. I'm going to take my man, Cam Scataboo. Oh, Garrett Wilson? Yes. Because of the position, I want to make sure I'm solid there. There's a lot of
Starting point is 00:36:50 wide receivers I like in this draft later on. Later on, I have not enjoyed running backs later in drafts this year. Four teams through the first two rounds went running back, running back. Two more teams added a second running back in the third round, and we are rolling
Starting point is 00:37:06 over to the fourth here. Abuka Flowers Higgins, great value wide receiver finishing out the third. Garrett Wilson, Giovante and Loveland, and it's back to Jason. Brooks has always been a man of exquisite taste. Was that, does they flowers pick?
Starting point is 00:37:22 Oh, did he take flowers? Just completely unrelated. I was just complimenting it. No, yeah. I mean, he, Faberjeet eggs. Yeah. So I am. He's a wealthy, wise man.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Brooks moves away and that bit goes away. I know, he moved the bit. You stole that from us, Brooks. Yeah. Just imagine how he's living, though, in Ohio. Those that cost of living. Oh, my gosh. He's king.
Starting point is 00:37:43 He's king. He's the king of Ohio. Yeah, he's the king of Ohio now. That's the only state in the union that I like a king. he elected himself. I like the idea of electing a king. I mixed democracy with being the ruler of a nation. Jason, you're back on the clock. So it's a pretty easy decision because I've got Gentie and Scataboo. I'm looking between either wide receiver, which is a clear Devante Smith to me. I love Devante Smith. At this point in the fourth, I think he's going to be a top 12 wide receiver. Or I got Tyler Warren. Yeah, I figured he was on the... The dog. I haven't had enough shares of him,
Starting point is 00:38:21 so I'm going to swing on taking an elite tight end, someone that I do think is going to have 140 targets at the position. Yeah, we just talked about it, and they go back to back. Yeah. On yesterday's show, Mike, you are back on the clock. I'm going to give you a second to think about it. We'll take a break and come right back. All right, Mike's on the clock here at Pick 405,
Starting point is 00:38:48 coming around for, you know, the big decision on, you know, does it go back to wide receivers? Lamar Jackson is going to go here in the next couple rounds. Jaden Daniels and company. McCaffrey, Walker, neighbors, you're up. So the decision on tight end has been made for me, so I'm not even looking or considering that. Wide receiver-wise, it would be down to Devante Smith and also the Jalen Waddle is in that conversation for me.
Starting point is 00:39:20 I lean Smith right now. And then, so between those two and Lamar Jackson, I think that really is the decision to be made here. Running backs have thinned a lot. Yeah, but I'm cool. No, I know you're not. I'm just looking at the board. Sure.
Starting point is 00:39:35 We have a handful of teams like team four has no running backs, so they've thinned out quite a bit. I'm going to go with Devante Smith. It felt like a safe, comfortable pick. He feels a little bit safer than Jalen Waddle. Having him with neighbors, I think, is great because we know Devante Smith has always been a wide receiver one when given the opportunity. It's really hard to remember of like Devante Smith, just a true dominant college player comes in as a two is great. And yet you feel like because it took so long for him to get his chance to be the wide receiver one for the team, you're like, oh, can he do it?
Starting point is 00:40:18 Yeah. I have no doubts that he can be a one. But yeah, the feeling is definitely unsure because he hasn't been. Yeah, I'm upset. Devante Smith, Breeze Hall, Lamar Jackson, sorry. Yeah, Devante Smith, Breez Hall, Lamar Jackson, DeAndre Swift. Devante Smith and DeAndre Swift is part of the combo of names. Jalen Waddle, McCongy, and Burden go next.
Starting point is 00:40:45 I shouldn't have been surprised that the Betzborg combo would abandon the thought of getting a second running back when they're almost gone just to troll me on the two picks I would have made. I figured Ladd McConkey in a normal draft would get back to me. I should have been smarter here. I've got to go to the wide receiver position, I think. I do believe that Travis A. Chan Jr. here is a good deal. Bucky Irving's a good deal here. I'm going to take Bucky and see what. what that looks like.
Starting point is 00:41:16 And then I'm going to come back with Devante Adams. Okay. As my first wide receiver one. Yeah, I've got, I can, like, you know, like Mike's situation. I can, I can spend the next four rounds taking wide receivers that I like. Burrow goes next. Was that your disappointment, Mike? No, not disappointment, more of the, when this will happen in your draft,
Starting point is 00:41:37 and you will see someone take Burrow and you go, oh, they have Chase Burrow. Oh, yeah. The Chase Burrow stack. is a powerful thing. That's just devastating. We get a run of running backs. A. Chan Jr., Tutan, Henderson. DJ Moore off the board at 506.
Starting point is 00:41:56 You know, the DJ Moore decision is going to be a big one. Christian Watson off the board. We talked about him at the leader of the pack segment. Mike obviously had his eyes set on Christian. Oh, that would have been elite. But it's not. Well, now I have to actually think about stuff. McCaffrey Walker and Abramsmith. All right. Let me look at my, uh,
Starting point is 00:42:15 my rankings here wide receiver wise guys i would like jameson pierce evans oh man i hate that evans is hurt and i mean i have mcalfrey do i really want to invest oh man invest in the uh the sub station and everything that's going on there i'm going to take so i got two real strong target earners. I'm taking Jameson Williams right here. I want some Nitro as a wide receiver 3. Damn it, man.
Starting point is 00:42:51 You keep doing it. I mean. I didn't even talk to it. I just did it. I know, but it's like, I wanted the neighbors got one pick away and of course you did it. And Jameson is a player. Andy's loved. I've always been more hesitant because that archetype of the boom bust less consistent. But I was like, this is perfect for
Starting point is 00:43:07 my team. I've got the consistency of lamb. I need a boom You can blame Kurt because I would have sprinted to draft Watson. You know, you could have just, like, you get the chance to troll him on the way back. But you never take his players. You keep taking. Loveland won before me. I took Warren.
Starting point is 00:43:24 He was more into Loveland. I would have varied. I would have considered Warren there. All right. Jamison Williams off the board to Mike's team. Jason's got Lamb, Janty, Scataboo, and Warren. You're back on the clock. You will pick again here real quick at the turn.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Yeah, I definitely need a wide receiver. There's some that I like here. but it's a tier down. I'm actually going to pull the trigger. I'm going one, two, three second year running backs. I'm going to take Quinshan Judkins. I know Mike doesn't like him, but Andy and I do. He's looked great in camp so far, explosive.
Starting point is 00:43:56 I think that the Cleveland Brown's offense will be a little bit better. Good pick. Alex Pierce goes at 510. Roma Dunesay at 511. As we get towards the second half of this draft, David Mopportunity at 512. I don't know how to feel about him. I don't either.
Starting point is 00:44:14 It changes day to day. Oh, no, Jason. I spent a lot of this off. He's being really bullish on the fact that he will be a three down back. There's a team that will be in games. They're going to win 10 games. He might. I believe he will, but, you know, it's possible he's not. I just don't know if the offensive line is good enough to allow him to get the double-digit touchdowns that, like that's his upside.
Starting point is 00:44:35 His upside is he gets 10 touchdowns. And if he does, he's going to be a great pick. here. Is their line good enough? Carnell Tate goes at 603. I love that pick by Julia. I probably would have taken him at my next pick. I
Starting point is 00:44:48 think he is going to be a steal if he goes anywhere four to seven. Jason, you're back on the clock. You've gone a running back, running back tight in, running back the last four rounds. Yeah, I'm really thrilled here. I was between Judkins and Mike Evans
Starting point is 00:45:04 at my last pick. The fact that a sixth round, Mike Evans, I still believe he has enough to give. And when he's on the field for San Francisco, and let's say he misses three or four games, that will suck. But when he's on the field, he's going to be good for fantasy. He's going to score touchdowns. Brock throws him.
Starting point is 00:45:20 They need him. He's a red zone weapon. I don't think there's any doubt that he is good for fantasy. The way that you've got Devonte Adams, the old man who's going to score a bunch of touchdowns. As my wide receiver two, I'm fine with Evans in the sixth. All right, Mike, you're back on the clock. Who's it going to be? So I'm looking at the running back position, you know, Price, Warren.
Starting point is 00:45:45 Those are the guys kind of at the top of the ADP. I think Price is interesting here. The value of a first round running back should pay off right there. But, and then a quick peek at the, oh, so Jaden Daniels is still there. That is interesting. Drake May went at 601, Kraft Tate in this round. Lamar's off the board, Burroughs off the board. So this would be the quarterback five off the board at 605.
Starting point is 00:46:13 You got a long wait for your next pick. And I got late round guys. I do like, funny enough, I thought I would be picking between Terry McLaurin, old man, or Jordan Tyson, rookie hotness of. Yeah, we tied to-to- Like, Terry McLaren as your wide receiver four seems pretty awesome. I'm going to take Jaden here. All right, Jayden Daniels off the board at 605. Judarian Price goes next.
Starting point is 00:46:41 And Jordan Tyson does finally go off the board as the wide receiver three for Papa Josh. Tyson's going to be a really interesting selection as well. You know, I like Tate a lot more for year one. But in the draft, talent-wise, I like Tyson the most. So that situation versus talent is an interesting one. It is. It's the, you know, the Cam Ward versus Shuck. Like the, so Andy, when you think about Ward and Shuck,
Starting point is 00:47:10 I know you guys aren't as in on Tyler Shuck as I am, but like when you're thinking through something like Carnell Tate or Tyson, which pick has the higher chance of failing? I think it's Tyson for sure. Okay. Yeah, just because Olave is the bona fide number one. You know, both of these teams didn't score a lot of points last year. I feel like the floor
Starting point is 00:47:35 falling on his face. I don't think he's going to fall all the way on it. I mean, he's not going to lose his job. No. I think he's going to hyper-target Carnell Tate, and I know that the target floor is going to be there. But I don't think it's a big difference. I really don't.
Starting point is 00:47:47 I think Tyson, if he's on the field, I mean, he's going to be a focal party of the offense, too. You know, we haven't even, probably the name we've talked about the least of anybody in this entire offseason, for no real reason other than Jordan Tyson, has been Juan Johnson. Sure.
Starting point is 00:48:02 who's had no conversation. Yeah, they, you know, he was working out with Shuck. Well, he's getting steamed. Yeah, I mean, he's. From the, uh, from the beat writers in New Orleans. Like, not ADP-wise. No one wants Joanson on their, their team. But he, he is frequently called out by, like, Underhill and Crew.
Starting point is 00:48:22 So that's where I'm like, I look at Tennessee and I know it's Tate, Tate, and all Tate. I look at New Orleans and I say, look, you've got two good backs. You got a pass-catching Camara, Juan Johnson. Alavi's going to get his. does it take Tyson more time? I don't know. I'm going to go Harold Fanon at 612. Okay. And Marvin Harrison at 701.
Starting point is 00:48:39 Marvin Harrison is 701. I can deal with it. Warren Stevenson, Harvey, and Brian Thomas Jr. go next into our seventh round. Papa Josh is on the clock. I thought it was Mike, but Papa Josh is sitting there deciding. Probably missed the button with that shooting hand.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Am I right? Chuba Hubbard. Chuba Hubbard might be the least sexy pick in the draft, but could work out. Michael Wilson at 707, same round as Harrison. Mike, you're back on the clock. It's a pretty weird. Jason, you shook your head.
Starting point is 00:49:13 I just saw how the draft was playing out, and I was waiting to see what happens on this pick. Oh. Yeah. We'll see. No, Mike, just do your thing. I have no idea where you're... I'm not. I'm not thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:49:24 I know. I don't think you're trying. I think we just agree. The... Chuba, Chuba's not usually going in front of Jonathan Brooks these days. So interesting to see how it fell there. Brooks is still on the clock. I don't love it. I'm looking at the running back position because I do need, we're in the seventh here,
Starting point is 00:49:47 so I will need to start adding some depth. Manungai and his, are we good? Does anyone know if Conlonung guy is good? He is okay. Nothing to worry about. It's August 6th. You've got a month. He's already back at practice, and he's got a month.
Starting point is 00:50:03 That's what I meant. Yeah, he's fine. Is it full practice? I don't remember what I heard. Rico Dowdell, I think, is a fine pick here. The last thing I read was that it looked like Rico was kind of cementing the RB1 spot. Yeah. Rico Dowdell?
Starting point is 00:50:19 Yeah. Wow. I've seen that one go back and forward and back and forth. I still haven't moved my rankings that way, just based on that one report. But I could see it. Jason wants me to draft Rico Doudal. I've got three running back, so that would be great. But I was not saying that for that.
Starting point is 00:50:38 I was genuinely just reporting the news. Boy who cried Wolf over here. Yeah. I'm actually, it's early, but feeling like what's going to happen on this turn, I might not get him. So I'm just going to take, hold on, I got to find the thing. Decorri Kroski Merritt. I,
Starting point is 00:50:57 I'm, it's getting sweatier, guys. Yeah, you like him. I'm getting sweatier for what's going on with Bill. And I don't necessarily like it about myself. Yeah, I mean, Diggs helps the offense, helps the commanders entirely. Going with Jaden. We'll see if that works out. This was good for me.
Starting point is 00:51:16 I really needed a wide receiver and I feel like there's one left that I like here. I like late wide receivers, but I'm going to take Mackay Lemon. I took the old guy last round of Mike Evans, take the young guy this time. he was the next name across all positions up on my board it's a good pick um it is interesting like you'll have uh you got lamb and evans and then you're going the youngster in lemon mason pitman laporta devastating jason great pick by oh you have warren cash there with john then brooks at the eight o one sutton rashad white and jason pulling the trigger immediately on dac prescott i i've been waiting i was wondering if bets who has george pickens would take that stack earlier he didn't and
Starting point is 00:51:52 So that's DAC over DART. That's Dack over Lawrence, Jack over Caleb. It's entirely with the stack. I wanted the C.D. Lamb, DAC stack. Yeah, that makes sense. I pulled an ADP rope-a-dope. I let Rico go through
Starting point is 00:52:04 because I thought Bill would get drafted. Rico made it back, so I'm going to take him as my RB4 here. All right, Rico Dato goes at the 805. Jackson Dart at 806, D. D.K.M.E.C.F. 8.07, and unsurprisingly, or maybe surprisingly, Kyle Pitts at 808, which I think is a great deal. Gets him about two rounds later than Fanon.
Starting point is 00:52:25 I told you I believe in Kyle Pitts. I wasn't lying. I'm not proud of it. Kyle Monongai, Blake Corum. I wanted Corum at 8, 12 or 901 here. Josh Downs off the board. Now I have to really do some thinking here. I'm going to take a wide receiver that I'll be out there every single down on an offense I'm kind of optimistic about.
Starting point is 00:52:45 I'm going to take Quentin Johnston. Yeah. And then I'm going to take a shot. Now, I need to pick a rookie. I want to pick a rookie wide receiver here. Concepcion, Stribling. I'm going to take a shot on Stribly. The substation may be resistant to youth.
Starting point is 00:53:00 I'm not sure yet. I'm going to take Stribling as a shoot a shot. I mean, it's not because he was already banged up. Yeah, Pierceall is not. He's not young anymore. Yeah, but he's been hurt since he got in. Tony Pollard, Kenny Gainwell, Zach Charbonnet, in the ninth round here as we get close to the end of the draft.
Starting point is 00:53:19 Al Borland on the clock with, He's got a good set of running backs on this roster. Just took Kyle Pitts and really can't decide what to do here. I gave him time. Yes, you did. Sorry, I was looking for a guy he's gone already. You're now, you're now officially the slowest. Just do it verbally.
Starting point is 00:53:39 You're officially the slowest person. I'm definitely faster than all three of you. We're talking. That's the point. Everybody else. You get to noodle out all your picks. But nobody else in the draft does. else takes their picks.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Jaden Reed goes next. George Kittle, Aaron Jones, and Mike, you're on the clock. George Kittle would have that would have delighted you. Yeah, that would have been my pick for sure. I think I'm set here at the running back position. I feel
Starting point is 00:54:11 good about those, that four pack. I need a tight end in these last three picks. Wish it was George Kittle. Man, have you guys I don't think I'm going to take it but I think it's worth the conversation Have you guys been reading the latest on
Starting point is 00:54:29 Boston? Yeah, I was going to say David Boston But Denzel Boston He's been dominated according to reports People are saying he might be the one Like I think that's probably hyperbolic I mean but that's Why wouldn't he be?
Starting point is 00:54:44 Well, Concepcion was drafted. I don't care about that. I thought you were talking about Judy Oh no. There's room for anybody to be the one on that team and they certainly aren't going to I mean we saw this in Green Bay years ago. The higher drafted wide receiver wasn't the one that established himself there. I mean it
Starting point is 00:55:00 best man for the job. All right. I'm taking, uh, I still think that that Chris Godwin has a little bit again, man. It's a good job. I like the pick. I think he has something left in the tank and I like a Buka but I don't think it's
Starting point is 00:55:17 crazy to say that at the end of the year, Chris Godwin has the most targets for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I agree, and some of the reports on him have been glowing on his health and explosiveness. Second year off of an injury, which multiple injuries that he gets throughout his career. Yeah, I'm going to pull the trigger on Matthew Golden here. Obviously, we talked about him earlier in the leader of the PAC segment. I think at cost, he is a value.
Starting point is 00:55:46 He's got the opportunity to be an every-down starter for a good offense. just please be good. I don't think you are, but just do it. Surprise me. Well, the other two are off the board, right? Reed. No, I think Reed was still there. No, he wasn't. Okay. Lynn at 905. Caleb Williams, Justin Herbert, Romeo Dobbs, Jacoby Myers, Chris Rodriguez. I was trying to sneak Chris Rodriguez on on my team. Tank Dell. Tank Dell at 1003. Jason back on the clock. Mike following Jason. All right. Wow. Tankdale going ahead of Jaden Higgins. I love Tankdell, but Jaden Higgins has also been doing some good things. I'm going to take
Starting point is 00:56:20 Jonah Coleman, a player I love. He's currently... That's an interesting pick. He's currently third on the depth chart. Obviously, you've got... I'm not sure he's worth a pick. You might not think so, but I believe that Jonah Coleman is
Starting point is 00:56:32 an excellent player. Everything that has been said recently about him is that he's basically like a veteran. He doesn't seem like a rookie at all. I don't believe in R.J. Harvey and J.K. Dobbins gets injured. Batman. That's funny. No? Batman? I don't believe. I believe in Harvey.
Starting point is 00:56:49 Oh. Come on. Keep up, baby. ADP has obviously not caught up here, but I'm going to take the ultimate late round sneaky stack here to go with Jane Daniels. I will take Stefan Diggs. He will not go here in drafts, I don't think. But also at the same time, his ADP won't get out of control. He's coming off a thousand yards. We have Stefan Diggs off the board to Mike. Jordan Addison goes next, and now we're waiting on Josh.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Casey Concepcion. the board. Travis Hunter goes next. Jaden Higgins in the 10th round back behind Tankdale, Trevor Lawrence and Dinsale Boston. I did want Diggs. I'm going to take a shot on Jacoby Lane right now in Baltimore. So hot right now. And so I've just been going wide receivers pretty much through and through. I'm going to take Debo Samuel as well with my final pick. Man, you run low tee. I mean, when you have Gibbs, Jacobs, and Irving, I feel pretty good. I, you have it. on my options at running back, I could have gone, Camara or Tracy or Woody Marks. Yeah, I'm happy with my choice.
Starting point is 00:57:59 That's fair. Dallas Goddard. I love the pick, Kyle. Great last round, tight end option. Brock Purdy goes next. Tyler Shuck in the final round here, Camara and Marks and Hearst. Oh, yeah. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:58:12 I'm on the board. Thank you, Kurt. Ted Hurst goes in the 11th, probably just for that. And Mike and Jason, final pick, Mike, you have to take a tight end. I stand up and shout. Dalton Cicade. That is a great last pick at tight end. I'm looking for...
Starting point is 00:58:26 That's over likely. That's over... It is. And it's... I'm fine taking Travis Kelsey here, like I've said, is the floor play. If you want a top 10 tight end, I think Travis Kelsey fits the bill for that. But I'm trying to do a little bit better than that. So here, I'm just swinging for the fences on a young wide receiver.
Starting point is 00:58:45 There's plenty of guys on the waiver wire I can get that could go out and get me eight points. I'm hoping that what we've seen from Zachariah Branch, rookie wide receiver for the Falcons. He's been making plays and the opportunity is there. I mean, part of why you like Kyle Pitts and you're embarrassed about it is because there's really a big void for targets after Drake London. All right, that is going to round out our mock draft draft draft. If you want to see the entire draft board, you can do that on YouTube.
Starting point is 00:59:12 My team ended up Gibbs, Jacobs and Irving at running back. Josh Allen's my quarterback. Harold Fanon's my tight end. I feel like I got some good onesies there. Adams, Harrison, Quentin Johnson, Stribling Lane, and Samuel at wide receiver. I kind of like that. I like the, it feels kind of hero RB, even though that's not what the strategy is, just shotgunning wide receivers later.
Starting point is 00:59:33 I started with Dak Prescott to stack with C.D. Lamb, my onesies, DAC and Tyler Warren, wide receiver, Cedie Lamb, Mike Evans, Mackay Lemon, Matthew Golden, and Zachariah Branch. And at running back, I got the young guys, Ashen Ginty, Cam Scadaboo, Quinchon Judkins, and Jonah Coleman. At running back, I got CMC, Ken Bone Walker, Bill Kroski, Merritt, and Rico Doudal. My wide receivers are Malik neighbors, Devante Smith, Jameson Williams, Chris Godwin, Stefan Diggs. And I got Jane Daniels to go with Stefan Diggs, and Dalton Kincaid is my tight end. Yeah, you got a good deal on Daniels in the draft and getting Diggs late as well. A good steal there.
