Hey, this is Austin Eckler and you're listening to the fantasy footballers podcast.
Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore and Mike Oh, welcome in. Tuesday, November 5th, 2024.
The Fantasy Footballers,
happy to be with you on this fine day.
Good morning.
Good evening. Good afternoon.
November 5th was actually the I believe that's the day that Marty went back to 1955.
Is it really goes November 5th, 1955.
I thought it was in October.
No.
Back to the future day?
Yeah, take a look.
Take a look, see.
Back to the future.
I'm usually going to side with Mike on these things, but.
Back to the future day is celebrated on October 21st.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Not what day is it celebrated.
I want to know the day that Marty-
That's the morning to commemorate the day Marty traveled to the future.
Okay.
On November 5th, 1955, Dr. Emmett Brown invented
the flux capacitor making time travel possible.
Well, on November 5th, 2024,
we had the NFL trade deadline.
We do. Thanks, Jason.
Moves are already happening.
Big time moves.
Guys that, you know, people liked in college.
It's the NFL. What is the actual time today when that will be over with?
4 p.m. Eastern. Thank you. You're welcome.
So we've got a few hours left. We've got Monday Night Football to talk about difference makers
on the show today. News, including the trades thus far and the
waiver wire and the waiver wire so oh and full stream ahead big show so much
to talk about mr. Moore yeah it's gonna be great we also have can I just yeah
yeah do you mind sharing why you were late today I don't
mind I mean nobody knew I was late today until I just announced it well we had
the benefit on Sunday that the time switch happened and Arizona doesn't
have Arizona does that right yeah I mean we don't just about we don't have
daylight savings time and so for all of you know the East Coasters like we're an hour earlier than we used to be
or in this case fifty minutes earlier
because Jason Moore bought a shed for his house in the most unusual way
well some people buy they hear some other ways you buy sheds you
pay a company to come and build the shed on your property
you can go purchase a shed kit and build it yourself. I'm not going to do that
on your own property or or you can have a shed flown in by a crane. So Jason, Jason
sends a picture says he's coming in hot today. It's a picture of a crane and you've got,
I mean, you were you there for the whole delivery? Yeah, yeah, I was there. So there was a house?
It was full Wizard of Oz.
I mean, I'm seeing this thing and it's like Dorothy's house
just spinning.
Did your kids go on a ride in it?
No, danger, dangerous proposition.
They don't let you do that.
No, but it was wild.
Yeah, we needed a shed quickly.
This was a pre-built shed, and then it was too big
for our gate.
It's because it's a two-bedroom full bath, right?
Yeah.
Double-decker, two-story, you know?
You know, a shed.
Some people call it a house.
And so they had to bring a crane to get it over the wall,
which it's just, it's crazy.
Watching it happen, I was like, human beings
can do the craziest stuff. I like I'm literally watching this
very large
Piece of furniture how little tiny house just fly through the air on a crane that is and it worked out
Yeah, yes, perfectly got it. You got a fully built. We've got a shed now today. Is there a is there a witch underneath it?
I hope so. I should put some legs out.
Yeah.
There you go.
Congratulations.
It was thank you for the congratulations.
It did get my mind off of last night's Monday night football
game, which was important for me.
Well, I mean, we could tell Jason's stories all day,
because we got pictures of Jason last night trying to deal with,
like you needed, going into the night, you needed a miracle.
Yes, I know. I needed a miracle yes I know I
needed a mirror Jason was down five points with the Kansas City D and I had
Kate awesome Kate awesome Kate awesome I knew I was gonna lose who was
continually awesome eight for 77 and a touchdown but watching it happen did you
end up sticking with it yeah of course it's my job I watched but I wouldn't
have watched it wasn't my job of course watched but I wouldn't have watched if it wasn't my job. Of course my butt.
I mean I did. I might have gone out to the, you know, to chill out outside but I watched it on my phone. So what were your takeaways from the game the Chiefs managed to win yet again?
14 receptions on 16 targets for Travis Kelce. Yeah, I, the big takeaway, well, like, Kate Otton, I think, is one of, like, this
version of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kate Otton is going to be so unbelievably useful for fantasy football.
The other one is just, what do we make of Deandre Hopkins?
8 for 86, two touchdowns.
You know, like, it was basically a goal line slant,
if I'm remembering it correct, a true circus catch
into heavy coverage that fell right into Hopkins' hands.
And he was like, I feel like we've
seen that a few times over the past,
but they haven't had a player who could actually bring that
in, and Hopkins can.
So it's do you
Are you upgrading Hopkins after that performance? Are you sticking with I'm 100% upgrading I think he is legit a weekly must start player going forward the reason why is because we saw this with Rushie Rice
Rushie Rice was in the role that is the primary wide receiver target and
Patrick Mahomes can find a way
to get, you know, you get a little bit of space, he can get you the ball. When you've
got great hands like Hopkins, he's going to catch the ball. That triple coverage deep
down the field throw, it's just Deandre Hopkins has Deandre Hopkins hands. He's great. And
then you saw when Rushie Rice unfortunately got injured, they brought back Juju Smith-Schuster. And
he was 8, targets 7 for 130 and was a wide receiver 1 for that week and then he got injured.
Now they've got Hopkins, they need him and so I do think he's going to be the primary
wide receiver option here and that's an important role.
I got a lot of flack for my initial thought that he'd be like around wide receiver 16 with Patrick Mahomes coming over
Obviously they have to get him more acclimated the beginnings of that were last night
This came down to also what you fundamentally believed Xavier worthy was capable of which I don't think he's a very well-rounded wide receiver
At this juncture of his career. He is good on a gadget play again. McCall Hardman is so much worse
Than almost every player in the National Football League,
but regularly utilized with Kansas City.
They play to a player's strengths.
Worthy had a couple of opportunities last night.
He shoulda had a humongous touchdown.
But that's exactly the point.
Yeah, that is, I agree.
That's literally why I didn't believe in Xavier Worthy,
is because his should-ofs won't be good enough,
which is why they went and got Deandre Hopkins.
That play was one where it really showed me
the difference between really, really good wide receivers
and the great wide receivers, and your Jags,
who I realize that Xavier Worthy has.
Still new to the NFL.
Yes, he's new to the NFL, and he still has elite,
world-class speed, literally the fastest 40 time ever.
But there was no reason, there was no reason
the defender did not cause, the ball did not cause,
there was no reason for him to go down the sideline
and run out of bounds before he caught it
and not know where the boundary is
other than it just, you know, as a mental mistake.
We're nine weeks in, right?
They haven't had their bye week.
19 for 235 is the total in nine weeks for Xavier Worthy.
They have had their bye week.
Kansas City?
Yeah, they had it in week six.
Okay, so 19 for 235 in eight games for Xavier Worthy.
When you look at the, what, the combo of receivers there,
39 targets for Worthy, 32 targets for Adonai Mitchell. The teammates, Worthy has 235 yards, Mitchell 140.
And then what do you do with Patrick Mahomes? Hey, we had a QB four on the week is what I'm seeing in a half point four point
quarterback scoring format through the ball 44 times
That was the first time throwing the ball over 40 times this year to 90 three touchdowns
Hopkins looks like he still has some juice. I mean is this and Kelsey was great and and this is this is a Baker thing
Yeah, this is Baker and the offense for Tampa Bay on the road,
going out there and delivering offensive effectiveness.
They looked so good.
I mean, the fact that you have lost Chris Gowland
and Mike Evans, Baker is,
like he obviously is not going to be in the MVP running.
Yeah, you can't, they're foreign.
That award goes to what team is the best,
whose quarterback is that.
But he is absolutely worthy of being the most valuable player
in the NFL.
He is playing outstanding football, piecing it together.
You could argue they maybe should have won this game.
I mean, they forced overtime.
I think the majority of our age people wanted them to go for two when they got down there
at the end of the game.
And then they did stop them to force overtime.
So if they had gone for two and got it, that's game over.
Yeah, I mean.
I don't blame them either way.
I don't care about that call.
My point is they took Kansas City to the limit with injuries.
And I agree with you, Mahomes was great because Baker made him have to be great
They played a good portion of this game from behind it kind of went back and forth
So I'm just really impressed by Tampa Bay even in the loss 23 touchdowns leads the NFL for Baker Mayfield. He's playing great
he's playing as
as well as I've ever seen him play and so you know that
we're gonna get into some things about that offense Kate Otten right now when
you look at that I'm gonna read you a name okay you tell me whether you'd
rather have them rest of season over a Kate on yeah kiddle no kiddle yeah okay
right Bowers Bowers?
Bowers.
Bowers.
Okay.
McBride?
I would take McBride.
I would too.
That's it.
Yeah, that's probably.
Kelsey, Kelsey.
Yeah, yeah, I'm still gonna take Kelsey.
The rest of season is hard of,
like when is Mike Evans back and.
Right now K.Dotten is sitting as the tight end
four in points per game, but behind the three names
that you guys said you'd take out.
I think tight end four or five.
So I mean it's just.
He's in that next category with Evan Ingram and Najoku
where they have, the team around them has caused them
to be so important to their role.
And Kate Otten has really balled out.
He's looked great, he's in sync with Baker
and if you have to look at those three,
Evan Ingram, David Njoku and Kate Auten,
it's hard to not just go recency bias
and take Kate Auten because he's the best
but I think I do, you know, he's been getting it done.
It's not just like he is rising to the occasion.
Like we see plenty of guys who are like,
oh here's the opportunity,
and then they just fall on their face
because they can't do it.
And they're running the offense through him.
I mean, you look at a seven game sample for a K-Dot,
so the first two weeks, not involved.
Last seven games, on pace for 141 targets,
105 receptions, over 1,000 yards, and 10 touchdowns.
And it Baker.
That's what I was gonna say.
That's like, I'll take,
You want Baker or Trevor Lawrence or James
Winston? That's easy right now. Alright, let's go ahead and turn the page here from the Monday
Night Football game. It's a little bit of a shame that the Buccaneers couldn't get it
done just for their season and what they're playing for and the trajectory. They've had
some close games this year and they're definitely missing those wide outs
but impressive performance by Baker.
Welcome to Difference Makers presented by I'm Sped Food.
On today's Difference Makers we're keeping it simple because look it's time to take out
some insurance policies.
I've seen way too many teams out there riding dirty at this point of the season.
At the beginning of the season we talk about it's pretty rare that we draft these insurance
running backs this year. It was like, okay
I'll take like Blake core because I know and then it turned into Jordan Mason once the news all eventually fell out
But you just you can't be 100% sure who the backup will be you can't be sure that if they get the opportunity
They will be able to handle the the situation
but we're at the point now you have to have the insurance running backs. Like I picked up Ray
Davis this weekend. Like if you have James Cook and you're riding without Ray
Davis I think that's insane at this point. Which is crazy that you were able
to pick him up. But it's just like, and not, I'm not talking about the
production of Ray Davis this week, and I'm talking about
Ray Davis has shown the Buffalo Bills multiple times
that if James Cook goes down, Ray Davis is gonna be great.
So we just want to remind people of this,
this is the time that you need to be picking these guys up,
and if there is a tiebreaker where you're looking for,
well, you know, who do I insure besides my own backups?
It's looking at the strength of schedule.
Braylon Allen, this one is, we've talked about this
just over and over.
The running back schedule for them is so great.
It's great for Bryce Hall, but you
need to have Braylon Allen on a team,
because if Bryce Hall misses time,
Braylon Allen will go right into the role and he will succeed immediately.
They do not have a single difficult matchup the rest of the season for running backs.
They don't have, it's not like, oh, they've got a good three week stretch or their playoff
stretch is good. Everything's good. It is completely phenomenal from here until the
end of the season.
And then the playoffs are even better than the next few weeks, but there's no tough matchup.
So if Breeze goes down, Braylon Allen will be a league, he'll be a true difference maker.
And then Blake Coram is right in there. The schedule is quite good for the Rams.
They do have a week 12 matchup against Philly. And then 16 is against the Jets,
which is actually, it's pretty close to a neutral matchup
for running backs at this point.
But the way that Kyron is being used,
Blake Corum needs to be on roster.
If I have Kyron, it's Blake Corum is a priority ad
this week, especially, you're gonna hear us
go through the names.
There's not a ton of plug and play options right now
who aren't heavily rostered.
So you got to
prioritize those backups. And then I wanted to have the conversation about
the Arizona Cardinals because James Connor is the motor of this offense.
But would you take the shot on... this is where insurance can be a little bit difficult, would
you go with Trey Benson or would you go with DeMarcato?
I made this decision, I mean I had the choice of them to-
And you have Connor.
I have Connor and I'm certainly on the Trey Benson side of this equation.
And I was really impressed with Trey Benson in this last week's game,
because he got some more opportunities,
he had some nice runs, and he scored.
DiMarcato will be the change of pace to Benson,
but I want the goal line opportunities.
When this team moves the football inside the 10,
those are gonna go to Trey Benson, I believe.
And so that's the side that I lean on.
I'm looking, you know, to,
DiMarcato's a better week to week,
Randall shot right now in a committee,
but Benson would be the takeover guy to me.
I agree, I think Amari DiMarcato, he has a role.
And I think his role doesn't change if Connor goes down.
He stays in that role that he has been on the field for,
and then Trey Benson kind of moves into that Connor role.
But rest of season for running backs,
the Jets, the third best scheduled,
the Cardinals are fourth, the Falcons are fifth,
and the Rams are sixth.
Well yeah, what do you do if you need to trade for one?
Like Tyler Alger is probably on a roster.
Braylon Allen might be on a roster.
If you have Breece Hull and you have Bijon,
are you going out and making the, maybe it's a pick trade,
maybe it's a swap of bench players,
but you're going out to actively pursue that?
Personally, I'm not trading a starter from my lineup
to go get the backup, but I'm going to try and trade
some bench guys and help that other team get better
and take on the guy that's only good should
my running back miss time.
Let me throw two names out here.
These are guys that have been kind of waiver wire or at least bench players who kind of
now they're going to be talked about like, oh, you know, we should be starting them.
Would you trade if you are, let's say you're the Breece Hall manager, Braylon Island's
across the pond,
and you can trade either Quinton Johnston
or Jacoby Myers, those are players that can start.
I would personally do that.
Yeah, you are locking down a top five or six
running back schedule in a starting spot
when you have the insurance for those particular guys.
That's part of the equation here.
It's not just, you know, no matter who you have,
you go get them.
It's also locking down.
I have a starter against a great, with a great schedule.
It's, we're at the time of the,
in your league, like you know,
there are two or three teams of the league.
These, you're definitely going to the playoffs.
You should be looking at that right now.
I'm not saying shift your entire thing.
We have a playoff primer next week to talk about
guys that we wanna add for those particular schedules,
but it's the future proofing of your team.
You need to start doing it now.

News and notes from around the league presented by USAA Insurance
The Cowboys Dak Prescott is expected to miss several weeks with his hamstring strain got an MRI
Now expected to be placed on injured reserve
Cooper Rush presumably taking over at quarterback
But don't worry CDLM also dealing with a week-to-week AC joint
sprain expected to have a chance to play but don't worry they found their
solution they sure did I mean this was even teased you know Jerry was coming
out saying like don't worry we are trading for a wide receiver that we and they went and paid up for Jonathan Mingo. They did. I know the contracts not
not the same but they paid more to get Jonathan Mingo than they received for
Amari Cooper. That is factual information and I am not excited by this move. I am not endorsing Jonathan Mingo, but I do think that some franchises just have no idea
what they're doing.
Maybe the Carolina Panthers drafted a good player, perhaps, and the coaching staff and
everything around there just ruined Jonathan Mingo.
So I'm saying I'm not just throwing.
It's what Terrence Marshall believes.
I'm not just throwing this information into the garbage
and just completely writing off Jonathan Mingo.
I'm gonna leave a small window open to say,
maybe a change of scenery can fix things for him.
The complication here is that he is currently just a guy in an offense where you have a
bunch of other just a guys outside of CD Lamb, Turpin, Tolbert, you know, this is who you're
throwing the football to.
Hasn't been part of the offense, doesn't have his quarterback, and for fantasy purposes
this means nothing.
Like when Jerry Jones was teasing this move,
I'm like, ooh, maybe it'll be something that helps fantasy.
This doesn't help, Dak.
You know, this doesn't help.
I mean, he's not playing.
So this doesn't help your fantasy situation at all.
It just, you know, it's bewildering to me
to make a move losing a fourth rounder
in the situation you're in.
I guess I'm happy they think they can still win. That matters to me. I want CD Lam. I don't know what kind of
contract incentives he has. I hope he has some so he can go out there and play or
wants to, you know, keep his stat line rocking because he can still be
productive with Cooper Rush because who else are you gonna throw the ball to?
I think that I'm speaking I guess more for dynasty.
Oh, just like, it's possible that Mingo was just thrown
onto a waiver wire, or if you've been stashing him,
maybe there's a little bit of hope.
These situations have to be one in a million
for the short to work out.
From a dynasty perspective, if I had Mingo,
I would be so thrilled right now.
To try and trade him?
To try to get a second.
If I could go find.
You're not getting a second.
No, there's a cowboy fan.
There's a cowboy fan in every league
that you could be like a second rounder for the future.
I mean, look at what Brandon Cooks did.
You can spin that narrative.
I don't think it's gonna amount to anything.
My point is, if I could get anything from Mingo,
I would do it.
The Bears have traded away the unused,
yet seemingly somewhat talented.
Kaleil Herbert, he heads to Cincinnati to join the Bengals.
Zach Moss gonna miss the remainder of the regular season and maybe beyond.
The quote was-
With a neck injury.
The quote on Zach Moss was at least the rest of the year.
That was not great.
What is your reaction to this news?
Chase Brown has been good.
Obviously they wanted to add depth
but do you like would you consider Herbert to be a
Cursory what happens at yeah, I mean he's I think he's now the backup running back here
You saw 100% of carries go to chase Brown last week. They needed it. This is just a smart move for everyone
I feel Herbert wasn't playing hardly is like 5% of snaps for the Bears.
He's a good player.
He's certainly-
Seventh rounder?
Yeah, it costs you nothing.
I think it's a win, win, win for everybody.
I don't think Khalil Herbert comes in
and really hurts Chase Brown,
but I do, you know, we're talking about insurance policies.
Yeah, if I had Chase Brown,
I would pick up Khalil Herbert for sure.
100%.
I mean, Khalil Herbert's on today's episode.
Sometimes you're picking up these insurance
backs when you aren't the manager of that running back.
If Braylon Allen's out there, I'm going to pick him up no matter what.
Right.
Khalil Herbert, not to that degree, but still, he's one injury away from being a relevant
player.
Adam Schefter reporting that Christian McCaffrey is expected to play football in week 10. Return to practice on Monday as the team officially opened up his 21-day
window. All the two and seven teams with Christian McCaffrey rejoicing. No, I mean
what does this mean for Jordan Mason in his roster spot in fantasy and his role?
Like are you shopping into the McCaffrey manager? Are you holding in
the same vein that we're talking about these other insurance backs, only he's better?
I feel like he is as good an insurance back as exists, not to mention you have the added
benefit of the fact that you, the starter is currently injured and we're expecting to
be back. I do think he will be back, But when you are injured and you come back, oftentimes
you re-aggravate an injury. Now they took their time here. My expectation, I think Christian
McCaffrey comes back and has his role. I do. I don't think this is going to be some 50-50
timeshare where Jordan Mason has earned enough. And Jordan Mason's dealing with an injury
of his own as well. I think they're going to pivot right to McCaffrey and just give him the workload.
So TBD on that, but Jordan Mason would be someone that certainly you're not dropping
to the waiver wire at all because Christian McCaffrey is coming back.
If you want to try to get something for him from the McCaffrey manager, try.
Make sure it's worth it.
Okay.
Yeah, I was wondering if you'd consider him a flex play still I do not know
There's no chance I put Mason into the lineup this week
I want to see how much work he gets it because if it is like 60 40 and like or 50 50
If it's 50 50, I don't think you want to play Mason and if it's 50 50
I think you do want to play Christian McCaffrey
AJ Brown is expect is not expected to miss a significant amount of time. Doesn't mean he won't miss some time.
This reminds me of DK Metcalf like crazy.
DK Metcalf, it was great news.
He did not tear his ACL.
It's fine.
He's going to push to play.
He's not going to miss much time.
Well, he's missed two weeks.
He's still pushing.
They're on by.
We're hoping he's back next week.
So yeah, not missing significant amount of time, to me,
means missing time
Demeco Ryan's head coach of the Texan says they will quote continue to evaluate Nico Collins hamstring through the week
Shut up shut your mouth. I'm not talking to you Andy. I'm talking to Demeco Ryan's
Sunday night game against Detroit. I don't like this
And we were we were on pace. We were tracking for week 10.
We didn't really have any news.
Shut your stupid face.
But no, we did.
We had reports that were like, hey, Nico Collins is, he looks like he's going to be back week
10.
Yeah.
Yeah, they were saying that.
Oh, I saw multiple reports of that.
I didn't read those.
Oh, yeah.
They seemed like fake news.
The thing is about this report is like, saying that they're going to continue to evaluate
Nico Collins is not necessarily bad.
No.
This isn't news.
We shouldn't even be reporting it.
But it scares me,
because I just traded for Nico Collins,
and I need him badly, so.
It'll be watch the practice reports.
If he gets, I mean if he's limited all week.
Sunday night game.
He's probably playing.
Sunday night though. Yeah, probably playing. Sunday night though.
Yeah, you need to have a backup option.
He's eligible to be activated for week 10,
so we'll see if that happens.
Joe Flacco will continue to start for the Colts.
Shane Steichen announced that,
plays the Bills this week.
Jamison Williams, Jamison Williams reinstated
after the two game suspension,
back on the field for the Lions.
And then T. Higgins, unsurprisingly,
listed as DNP on Monday's estimated report.
However, they play on Thursday.
They play Thursday, and the way that-
They still like to estimate him practicing.
The news that came up before the DNP was like,
T. Higgins is gonna be working with the trainer all week
Hopefully getting ready to play for Thursday. So that this is not
It's not a surprise to me that he's estimated as did not practice and this it's not
Ruling him out. Yeah, anytime he practices will be a surprise to me. Yeah, I don't want to practice the season
I will be surprised if he practiced. The dude just hurts himself when he practices. Oh he hurts himself in games too Mike.
I'm not expecting him on a short week this Thursday if he's a DMP on Monday. I'm not gonna bank on him.
I'm not having a backup plan. I'm having a plan. T Higgins is the backup plan. Going back to Joe
Flacco, the report was that he will be the starter rest of season. I saw that but I didn't have it verified. Okay, Kyle or
Deucers, can you verify because we both saw it. I just want to make sure that's
legit because that's a that's a pretty big difference. Giving him the confidence
of rest of season or just saying... I think he'll be the starter rest of
season that the team can make to the playoffs. That makes sense actually.
Jonathan Brooks might make his debut this week.
Well, he has to.
Expected to be activated FIR.
So I mean, he could be up.
He could be a scratcher.
Yeah, I guess.
He could be a scratcher or something.
He has to be activated this week, or it's done skee.
He'll be out for the year.
We'll see if there's any more trades today.
I will be surprised.
We'll see if there's any more trades today. I will be surprised.
The report came from Jake Arthur, NFL.
Co-host of Lockdown Colts.
Yeah, he said he asked Shane Steichen
if Joe Flacco may have a certain limit
before getting pulled as a starter.
Just like Richardson, he said they're sticking with Flacco
for the season.
We're staying Pat with Joe going forward,
comma, right now.
So I have the same amount of confidence in that.
All right, that was today's News and Notes
presented by USAA Insurance.
Learn more at usaa.com slash insurance.
We'll take a break.
We'll come back with a waiver wire.
I mean, the way that the media cycle works with head
coaches the way that the scrutiny I mean two weeks ago the Bears on top of the
world won Hail Mary you're the worst team Hail Mary followed by loss in Arizona
which the catastrophic yeah I mean according to the announcers on the game,
that one play just carried over for the entire game.
It's the reason they lost to the Cardinals
was because of the Hail Mary.
And all I'm saying is, I mean, we saw this last year
with the commitment to Desmond Ritter in Atlanta.
Things.
Toxic group things.
Things have to, they just change. They just change they if the Colts go out and Joe Flacco throws three picks
Sack fumble and they score three points. You lied it because you don't
You're saying it on the presumption of success. That's how everything goes in the NFL
It's also a lose-lose. What's he supposed to say?
Like you pulled your rookie and you can't like, can't be like, well, we're gonna, we're gonna evaluate it. If he had said we're gonna evaluate it each and every week, we would be roasting him.
Of saying, no, you gotta make a decision. No, you're right. You're right. So we gotta be fair. It comes down to, we ask these coaches too many questions. We have too, we have too,
like for our job, I want the access
cause I'm trying to piece all the puzzle pieces together.
But we have way too much access
to these coaches and athletes.
And they just say dumb stuff that's not helpful
the vast majority of the time.
And then we get mad at them.
Welcome to the waiver wire
presented by NFL Sunday ticket on YouTube TV you're
afraid the spotlight was coming out I'm sorry yeah I didn't I didn't realize yeah
you were gonna keep going on my bad we've got the 49ers and Steelers back
off the by and then the next three weeks four more teams every week so the Browns Packers Raiders
and Seahawks taking time off this week and we turn to the running back position
there are two names majority rostered that are worth briefly mentioning just
in case Rico Dowdle and Jonathan Brooks people have been waiting a long time for
Jonathan Brooks and frankly a long time for Rico Dowdleell and Jonathan Brooks. People have been waiting a long time for Jonathan Brooks
and frankly a long time for Rico Dowdell
to be a player you could count on.
If they're there, survey the field.
They're at the top of the list.
But now let's talk about sub 50% roster players.
And who tops the list for you?
No one.
No, I mean, Jaylen Warren, we talked about him last week.
I was not as high on Jaylen Warren last week because he was going into buy and he doesn't strike me as a player that
I need to go out there and spend fab on or my waiver priority to
Wait two weeks to get a player who hasn't scored ten fantasy points, but he's back back from by
He has been catching passes from Russell Wilson
He's available in over 50% of leagues the matchup against the Washington commanders is middle of the pack. So I'm fine. If I had
to take a shot of someone that I'm picking up to start this week, there's, there's very
few names out there. I mean, you're talking about you, you've got a trifecta of Jalen
Warren, Tyler Algier, and justice Hill. Those three guys are available in about half of
leagues. You
could pick them up and just hope you get a touchdown. Yeah. Because you're
probably getting six to eight points from any of those guys. Yeah it's really
it's really really thin this week. The only other name I think that could
be picked up right now as a stash in hope that they overtake the starter.
It's Audrick Estime for the Denver Broncos,
the rookie running back.
I think we're on a couple weeks now of Sean Payton saying
that Audrick Estime is gonna get some more work.
Yeah, he said it last week and then he didn't.
He's not trustworthy.
However, last year, every single week,
Marvin Mims was gonna get,
we gotta figure a way to get him out there.
We're gonna do it this week.
We did, Jerry Judy's in the way, and it was just.
He's a liar.
He's a 50-50, like if you look at Coach Speak Index,
that track test stuff.
That's what I was just going with.
No, he's 50% reliability on playtime.
Yeah, he's a liar, but it at least it it makes sense
it makes sense process wise. Is that because like Javante Williams has like 40 yards on his
last 19 carries or something like that? Yeah that would be a big part of it of
this offense is like they have to find a solution. Jaleel McLaughlin is getting
more more playing time these last couple weeks.
I don't personally think that he is the answer for the Denver Broncos. Maybe they don't have
one but it makes sense for them to at least give Estimé a shot to see if he can get a
hot hand and be someone that they can actually rely on.
The name that I would bring up that hasn't been relevant as of this season, but was just traded to Minnesota
a couple weeks ago, Cam Akers as an insurance option
to Aaron Jones.
And what did Ty Chandler do?
I don't know, but they stopped using him as much.
And then.
It's what he hasn't done, I think.
Perhaps.
But then the off season, O'Connell,
I think O'Connell's a pretty trustworthy guy with the stuff
he says.
Maybe they were just pumping up that this is their player
because.
They gave him eight weeks.
Yeah, they did.
They gave him eight weeks.
I mean, that's not being dishonest.
You gave him half the season to try to show you something
he didn't show you.
Most of the weeks for Chandler this year, 2.1 to carry, 1.9, 1.7, 2.1, 2.
He hasn't gotten it done.
They can't give him the ball.
It's a pretty good audition.
The last two weeks, there's a combined 4% of snaps for Ty Chandler.
So that role has now been given over to Cam Akers, who he looked okay when he was there.
So just as an insurance back,
someone that is widely available,
I'm not excited to pick him up.
I'd rather have Khalil Herbert, who is also 9% rostered.
There's just not a lot of names.
I mean, it's really like get your insurance policies,
go grab your-
This is, the second week has been like this,
now running back.
And it's good news because it means
there wasn't a
catastrophic injury it what it means one of the star running backs for two weeks
in a row hasn't gotten injured because usually we're coming in and we're
bringing up this name whatever it is as like he now gets to be the starter so in
in some regards I hope that it sucks the rest of the season no it's actually a
good point I mean we I hate you even bringing it up
because it feels like we're tempting fate or something,
but you're right.
And it's a good time to remind you
that we have a full waiver wire rankings
and we have them customized to your specific league
if you import it into the Ultimate Dashboard,
which just this past week, the in-season app,
so if you search the app store for the fantasy footballers and you download that app, the in-season app.
So if you search the app store for the fantasy footballers
and you download that app, it's free to download.
As long as you remember at jointhefoot.com,
you can get access to the Ultimate Dashboard
inside the app, which we have a custom waiver wire,
custom spot starts, everything with our rankings
that we put together on the waiver show
and throughout the week as we adjust them,
that gets reflected with your league
and who's actually available. So I encourage you to take advantage of
that and the fact that you can you can do that now in your pocket. And we've had
an app for for years but it has not been what it is. So if you if you've had it go
and update the app it is completely revamped. It is awesome having the
ultimate dashboard in your pocket for waivers and for spot starts and for lineup optimization
is truly awesome.
It's out right now on your iOS app
and it will be coming to Android.
Yeah, it's on Android, but the update is coming this week.
So if you wanna go grab it on Android
and then when the update comes through sometime this week,
you'll get the ultimate dashboard there too.
Drop candidates, Travis E. T. and Devin Singletary, that's a no and a no for me. I would not drop. Ultimate dashboard there too.
Drop candidates, Travis ETN, Devin Singletary, that's a no and a no for me.
I would not drop.
I mean, have you listened to the names we just mentioned?
Yeah.
I wouldn't do that, especially not ETN.
That would be dumb.
Singletary's job is gone, but ETN could get it back.
Now, wide receiver, the name that's going to probably fetch the most fab. Is gonna get it back. Now wide receiver the name that's going to probably fetch the
the most fab. He's gonna get the bag. Quinton Johnston 4 for 118 and 1 came off
of an injury he's only 28% rostered you know to me I don't know if I'm willing
to break the bank on it, but I'd be investing.
Yeah, they're throwing it more.
And Quinton Johnson looked good before the injury.
We brought this up on yesterday's episode.
Quinton Johnson, I mean, he's catching the ball, he's getting open, he's been pretty
good for fantasy.
He obviously got injured and that was bad, but they're also allowing Herbert to throw
the ball more.
He's a talented player. He was a raw prospect coming in with some development that was needed.
But if they gave him the development, I mean you look at the, I know in the early off season we were talking about the difference in coaching styles with Dennis Allen tearing down all of his players.
But you had Harbaugh just talking, like Qu Johnson goes out drops a couple passes in camp And then he comes out and he's just talking about how great Quinton Johnson is what what?
Attributes he sees that he loves out of this guy
He's just building them up and lo and behold Quinton Johnson is is developing playing better and is playing better and so
This is a talented human being a talented athlete that if he can actually develop could become a legit
You know weekly option for Herbert
Xavier Lee Gatt's probably the best thing that the Panthers have going in the wide receiver room right now
Lee Gatt and Jalen Coker. I think both of those names. It's important to bring them up again
Because maybe Coker had a lot of attention last week, got picked up,
didn't have as big of a game, so maybe he gets ignored.
These are going to be some ping pong type of situations and wide receivers at the top
are inconsistent, so certainly in this tier they're going to be inconsistent.
So like you should come back to the well is what I'm saying.
Yeah, Liga has been double digits in fantasy points three of the last four weeks,
four of the last six weeks.
He's involved. He's on the field a lot, 83%, 84%, 77% of snaps,
and he's really used around the goal line. He's a
gargantuan man. So the the red zone opportunities have been there. You don't expect them a ton with Bryce young throw on the ball, but I mean he's had
Four touchdowns in the last six weeks now
I like manufactured touches when you have an office that you don't trust in too
and you're gonna see more of that like he has a rushing attempt in three straight games and
So I likely get more than coke or both to pay attention to I
Think fabs gonna get spent under Marcus Robinson this week, and I'm not sure that
I will be in that place.
I know he's a very, he's had effective games last year with both Cup and Pucca on the field.
This last week we didn't have Pucca for half the game.
He was on 30% snap counts the week before when Robinson was really effective.
It's not that Robinson shouldn't be rostered, but to me I wouldn't spend, I don't have the
confidence to spend Big Fab there when I have other players I like.
Not at all. DeMarcus Robinson has been good when the game script requires Stafford to
air it out and then he's the third on the field. That's his situation, but he is a streaming
option, a match up play.
This week he's playing against Miami.
They give up the third fewest points to wide receivers.
This doesn't strike me as one of those game scripts
that I am targeting the third wide receiver
for their opponent.
I got two wide receivers I would bring up.
Joann Jennings.
Yes.
San Francisco.
Please.
He's back.
He, they were on by last week. San Francisco. Please. He's back.
They were on bye last week. And Brandon Iuke is gone for the rest of the season.
They get to play Tampa Bay.
Oh, yeah.
Then Seattle.
So we have two good matchups coming up here.
And he's already balled out a few times this season.
So I think that him and QGE are my priority ads but Jennings a
little bit higher on the roster. Do you put Pearsall in the category with him as somebody that...
I think he should be. Pearsall is a player that should be rostered in
basically every single 12-team league but I would really prioritize
Chauhan Jennings. I'll take the guy that I know already has some type of
connection with Brock Purdy.
It's not a first round rookie trying to work his way in.
And then the other name is Pop Douglas.
It's DeMario Douglas of the New England Patriots.
It was the production only seven points in a half point scoring format.
But look at the outside numbers, nine targets. He of them it's only 35 yards look that's kind of gross
but he had seven receptions and in the other game where he played you know more
snaps than than not with Drake May it's like they've had a weird overlapping
thing where we can't seem to get him together at the same time. But in that first game with DeMario Douglas and Drake May, 6 for 92 with a
score. I think that he is a he's a more under the radar ad because he didn't
have a blow up the week last week.
Jaylen Paul's not playing football.
DeMario Douglas is a good player and he's I think the first read for the wide receiver crew there. Yeah, I think that's for me
I like everything you're saying but to me he is an on-the-radar
Pickup not a pick up and play this week. I just brought up Miami being top three against wide receivers
He's playing against Chicago who's top two against wide receivers. It's not like that. It's not the matchup
I want to play but he is a good player who's going to start developing more connection with me
So, you know next week after on waivers
Let's not forget that after a down week from pop Douglas and pick him up and play him against the Rams
Let me ask you this, you know, there's there's quite a few names Ligette Johnston Jennings
I'm gonna ask you this, there's quite a few names, LeGat, Johnston, Jennings.
Are you cutting Xavier Worthy?
Is it worth just not being,
like my worry with Xavier Worthy is that he is going to be
the one in six weeks, a big play touchdown,
but then we're living the McColl Hardman,
the Caderious Tony, the millions of different names
that we've seen in that role.
Are you cutting him for these names?
For those top names, yeah.
If I could swap Xavier Worthy into Ligette, Jennings, Quentin Johnston, I would do that
100%.
I'm not going to... Demario Douglas versus Xavier Worthy, I'd just hold on to Xavier
Worthy.
Okay, Jalen Watto.
No, I'm not cutting Jalen Watto. No, worthy. Okay, Jalen Waddle.
No, I'm not cutting Jalen Waddle.
He got a touchdown last week,
had crazy negative play that wasn't really on him
and then you've still got only two games back with two of us.
So no, I'm not cutting Jalen Waddle.
Deontay Johnson.
I have no redraft interest in Deontay Johnson.
None, none.
He's a really tough one because he is good
and he's on a great offense, but he can't be the one.
I mean, Zay Flowers, I don't think he can be the two.
His snap counts, I would have to see,
go way, way, way, way up from where I'd expect him to be.
I don't view him as a must drop.
If he was out on waivers I'd go,
ah, there's a path for a good player and a good offense.
But he's certainly not someone I'm playing right now.
I mean, this is like a,
it's almost like a developmental player
and that's hard to do when you're in week 10.
I mean, I would, I'd drop him for Judy,
Lee Gatt, Jennings, Johnston, Pearsall,
and probably Coker, honestly, because I want ceiling, man.
And I just don't know.
Deontay Johnson, when are you going to start him?
In a regular 12 team, probably never.
If you're in a deep roster, okay.
But it's disgusting.
And he's on bye week, bye this week. I'd rather have Elijah Moore than Deontay Johnson.
I'll take those targets.
He didn't produce but he's still got a whole bunch of targets.
Well, that's what he does.
That is his entire career.
Nine targets for 28 yards is what he's done for what?
I mean, literally.
30 games.
His entire career.
That's all he's ever done.
He had 104 targets last year and finished as the wide receiver. 30 games his entire career. That's all he's ever done if they had a hundred or in a yet
104 targets last year and finished as the wide receiver
That is awesome. Those are Watson target. I will say yeah Elijah more if you're in a four-year career I mean if you're in a PPT League, he's actually super duper point for target point per target
Yeah, if you get points for targets, then that's awesome. Pick them up.
Yeah, I mean.
Also send me a screenshot of your league,
because I've never heard of it.
I think I hate Alessandro Mori.
I think you hate Alessandro Mori.
He has four good games in four years.
Can confirm, you hate Alessandro Mori.
Yeah, I'm out.
All right, any other wide receivers worth throwing out?
The Parker Washington was the name last week.
Worth bringing up.
Maybe, like, we'll see how Drake London is doing,
but Ray Ray McCloud could be in for a spot start.
What do people do with DJ Moore right now?
Oh my gosh.
He had a bunch of targets again.
He also walked out the field in the middle of a play.
So I wasn't sure about that.
It's possible.
I was sure.
No, I watched the play and I was was like what in the world are you doing? He has he is six yards off
the field with his back to the field while Caleb Williams is still running around on
the play. My only thing that I said I'm not sure about is I wasn't sure if he stepped
out of bounds and then took himself out to make sure he wasn't a target. You can reestablish.
Can you without a penalty? Yeah?
No, you can't be the first person to touch. Oh, you can't be the first person to touch the ball, right?
So I I thought maybe he was limping off. It was ridiculous. Yeah
Well, I still can still go block for your teammates gentlemen. Yeah. Oh, you don't know you don't leave the field
I'll leave it and he so... I'm actually really disappointed in DJ Moore this year.
He seems like a pissy pants, man.
Yeah, he seems like a pissy pants,
and he just got paid a bunch of money by this team
to come in and doubt your quarterback again.
I mean, I don't like the attitude.
I don't either.
It's not just his QB he hates his coach too.
One, but don't be a pissy pants.
But all of the Bears do, and they're not pissy pantsing.
If I didn't, if it was free, if it was pro bono, you can be a pissy pants. But all of the Bears do. And they're not pissy pantsing. If I didn't, if it was free, if it was pro bono,
you can be a pissy pants.
Absolutely.
You're not pro bono.
I am not defending.
Oh, I think you are.
I am not defending.
Team pissy pants over here.
You love Elijah Moore and you love pissy pantsers.
I am saying, DJ Moore has had a terrible,
he's well compensated.
He should be more in the game.
Finishing plays. But the dude has had a terrible situation Terrible he's well compensated. He should be more in the game finishing plays
But the dude has had a terrible situation like every single year of his life except for one
Yeah, the only other for the money part the only other
Taking the money that I would throw out there. I believe he's in concussion protocol
So you got to monitor the practice reports, but Darius Slayton?
Against Carolina. Yes. Yeah. yeah. He's one of those players you can pick up and play
because he actually has good games from time to time
and he's got a plus matchup.
No player, there's an unheralded player
that never gets any credit.
Darius Slayton.
Darius Slayton generally produces when asked to.
And yet.
He has been a successful NFL wide receiver for
six years and he has never wanted and never respected no it's opposite it's
impressive of Elijah Moore all right we'll take a break we'll hit the tight
ends
we'll hit the tight ends.
How much fab are you spending on Sticky? Sticky Gussicki's 20% rostered. You've lost Eric Hall Jr. T Higgins is forever doubtful and you've got a
Thursday night game against the single best team to throw the football against over the last five weeks.
If you look at who you want to start a wide out against, which, Gesicki, when he runs from the slot, that's a big, tall, sticky-handed wide out.
How much are you spinning up on Gesicki, because how long do you think this will last? I don't think it will last once T. Higgins is back,
but it is worth spending up, burning your priority,
or spending money to get a victory.
Oh, sorry.
Do you know what snap count last week?
I just want you to take a shot at.
Snap count?
Yeah, snap count for Gassiky,
number one overall tight end, five for 102.
What's a snap count?
Makes me wanna go 100%, but I don't know eighty eight percent Mike I'm gonna
guess like sixty something so Eric all jr. was knocked out right yeah thirty
six percent yeah okay so I mean look thirty six percent oh you were talking
about Eric all no no wait that's what, that's Sticky Gussicki. Sticky Gussicki.
That's not right.
That's inaccurate.
Strike from the tape.
Scrub it.
That's wrong.
You sound dumb.
I had to laugh because we're talking about the future.
The future was Sticky Gussicki, 36% of snaps.
What is he, 100% targets per route run?
His average snap count on the year is 41% on the season.
Yeah, that one's all about route participation.
Yes, it is.
Wow.
But I mean, the targets the last two weeks, eight and six,
it's just that, like K-Dot, compared to Mike Gassicki.
K-Dot plays every snap of the ball game.
Sticky Gassicki, you're like, uh, where are you?
I mean, if I've been rolling out Jake Ferguson
or Tay some hell or even Mark Andrews,
like, I think it's worth picking up
Gesicki for a one week start
because the targets have been there.
He's really talented.
Like, there are not a lot of...
You're saying sometimes you can't be picky.
You can't be picky when you gotta get sticky.
Right. Pick up Ges be picky when you gotta get sticky. Right.
Pick up Gussicky.
Thank you.
You led me there.
I didn't want to participate in that.
I was just yes-ing my man.
That's half my crickets.
He put the cheese right on the trap and you were like, oh, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Snap neck.
My neck just got snapped.
Thanks, Andy.
You just murdered me.
Walking you into bad jokes should be a thing. But you're right. You're right. Gassicki has
more upside with his quarterback throwing the way he's throwing it around the red zone.
And against Baltimore's.
And against Baltimore's. So that's a Thursday night.
But what, so what, it's just what happens if T actually plays I
Was I with Eric all his injury? I'm still I'm interested a little bit
Okay. Yeah, I'm interested, but he certainly would go down a notch like I would still play him over Taysom Hill
I'd still play him over Jake Ferguson without Dak
him over Jake Ferguson without Dak. But for instance, I think one of the big scary names is Sam Laporta.
Like Sam Laporta, if I had him and T. Higgins was out, I would play Gassicki.
Okay, I think Jawan Johnson might be hiding.
He might, But maybe not. Joanne Johnson, Taysom Hill, both the last remaining
targets for a team now without Olavi Shahid.
So, you know, they should receive targets.
Sure.
They really should.
And then.
John-u Smith.
John-u.
That would be the name.
Right now for me it's Gassicki and John who because John who Smith has been shockingly
involved last four games target pace 114 8 7 6 6 yeah I mean the last two weeks
where you got to take that six targets from Tua in in games where he's back I
mean it might not have been a great fantasy output in each one of those but
he is involved for a good offense.
And this week, the Rams, their 30th against tight end.
Oh my gosh.
I am just, please play T. Higgins,
because I knew this was gonna be the case.
Ask Kyle to grab me the splits of this season
with and without T. Higgins.
Double the fantasy points.
Jamar Chase is averaging double the fantasy points with
T Higgins. Jason and I watched the film on the Gassiki touchdown. I retweeted it. It's
outrageous. Like multiple Raiders defenders sprint full speed sprint at Jamar chase on
the play where Gassiki is wide open for a touchdown. It's like he already had the ball
and they were going to tackle him. I mean, he's just out wide, Chase is out wide to the left, the ball is snapped, and two defenders run at Chase
like they're literally about to launch a tackle him, and all the while
Gasicki just leaks and goes for 100. He averages more receptions total without
Higgins, but his production is a 1,700 yard pace
with T. Higgins or 824 without
because the defense focuses on you.
Circling back to tight ends,
I'm gonna throw the name out there.
He's a rookie, he's capable.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, sure.
And he's on an offense that needs targets.
Jatavian Sanders.
Both of them.
Well, Jatavian Sanders and Theo Johnson.
I knew you were going Theo, yeah.
Yeah, Theo Johnson, maybe no Slayton.
Theo Johnson, here's what I'm talking about.
It's the opposite of the Gussicki.
His snap counts, 89, 90, 97, 85, the last four weeks.
He's been an 84% snap count player on the year.
And if he earns more trust, he got into the end zone.
It's Daniel Jones.
If you wanna stay away, I get it.
But both him and Jusavion Sanders,
both rookie athletic tight ends with upside,
it's not, you know, it's kind of the opposite
of putting Zach Ertz on your roster.
This is a dangerous thing to say,
but the tight end waivers this week are.
They're all right.
They're okay, because there's also Hunter Henry,
who, like, Drake there's also Hunter Henry, who,
Drake May's been playing fantastic.
Targets of, if Hunter Henry is out there, that's great.
They used to be icky.
But now they're getting icky.
Yeah.
Look, 30.
Hit the applause button.
OK.
Oh, the people loved it.
I got you.
Here comes the boo.
Busted.
Hunter Henry, our numbers are 39% rostered.
Targets the last three weeks, nine, six, and eight.
Oh, that's outstanding.
I mean, you gotta get in on that.
Defensive options this week, the Giants,
who I picked up last week for this week.
Yeah, that was a good move.
They're going to sack the crap out of Bryce Young.
Yes.
Atlantis playing New Orleans in whatever they have left.
Arizona's at home against the Jets.
They're favored.
I'd be terrified to play that one.
I don't love the Cardinals.
Honestly, I don't think there's a bunch of great pickups,
but the Giants and Falcons are the two
that are widely available and great pickups, great matchups.
I think Detroit's gonna do pretty well against Houston
if Niko's not back because they shut down the-
Hey, watch your mouth!
Don't say that, I'm right next to you.
Earmuffs, Jason.
Yeah, if Niko's not back.
On top of that, I think that the Lions are,
they're a fine play this week.
They don't have the upside as the Giants,
but then the next week it's Jacksonville,
and then the next week it's the Colts.
So I think that you might wanna just pick the Lions up
for a three week stretch here.
It's worth noting Zedaria Smith.
Yes, yes, yes.
At the trade deadline, the Lions did acquire him,
so they lost Aiden Hutchinson.
Their defense has still been pretty good,
but obviously when you lose one of,
if not the best pass rusher in the league, that hurts.
Getting Zedariah Smith from the Browns
is a great move for the Lions,
and will help their defense,
so it's a good pickup for the future.
Patriots play the Bears, Bears play the Patriots,
so both sides of that might be okay.
I'm curious what the over-under of that game is.
I would love. I'm guessing it's 37? I think the Chicago defense would be great against the
Patriots offense. Drake May has looked very good to me considering the
situation. 39 and a half. But it's bad. Like his situation's bad. I don't expect
the Patriots to be good, especially on the road in Chicago. Tennessee put up 11 fantasy
points against them last week in our league against New England,
so you're right on that.

["Full Stream Ahead"]
I feel like embargoes are just like for ships.
That's all it is, this is, I mean.
Is that what that means?
That is what it means, yeah, it's saying like.
Terms and shipping embargoes?
Exactly, there are terms and then if you're traveling
from an ocean.
From, yeah.
There's gonna be some embargoes you gotta deal with.
Right, right, which is of course,
what is an embargo again?
An embargo is a contractual issue in the ocean.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, big, big ocean.
Big ocean.
I'm gonna stream Justin Herbert this week.
Justin Herbert's been throwing the football quite a bit.
They've upped their pass rate.
He was only averaging 23 pass attempts per game
in the first four weeks.
Now he's averaging 22 completions a game
over the last three weeks.
287 passing yards a game is quite impressive.
And with Quinton Johnston back, Lad McConkie,
I'm gonna put Justin Herbert appropriately into that streaming category.
And I feel like I'm doing something nice.
You know what I mean?
Like Herbert has taken the brunt
of the head coaching change problems.
Yeah, he deserves it.
He deserves it.
He's a good quarterback.
Stream that man.
It was a tough matchup, but he is a good quarterback.
I'm gonna go with Kirk Cousins, who's been on a heater. He's the quarterback 12 on the season.
He's a quarterback one, if you haven't paid attention.
And since week five, he's completing 72% of his passes and on pace for 5,000
yards and 44 passing touchdowns.
Over the last month, the Saints are 25th in schedule, adjusted fantasy
points allowed to quarterbacks.
And if you're paying attention to the back and forth,
Bijan running back market share, this is his down week.
So Kirk Cussins.
You're not worried about the coach one week bump
here for the Saints?
That is a real thing that is,
I think we looked this,
why did we look it up earlier this year?
One of the coaches, I don't remember who,
but we were like, oh it was the Jets.
Yeah, it was like, do teams actually get better
rest of season after they fire the coach?
And it was basically,
It was like the next game, their record is actually,
it was like above 500 I think.
And then after that, the rest of the season, it collapses.
So, at the, What's the the season, it collapses. So at-
What's the situation though?
Cause I'm sure there's like 50 examples
of coaches getting fired and also having Derek Carr
as a quarterback the next week.
Yeah, there's, there are several of those.
Yeah, you can see.
He has a few.
I'll have to look up the data, but there's at least four.
I don't think, I know one,
I know one man who is not picking the Saints this week,
for sure. And it's Michael Thomas.
Oh man, that dude hates Derek Carr.
I mean, there's a video of Michael Thomas
driving around New Orleans,
talking to strangers about Derek Carr.
I tweeted out the moment that pass that was way too high
and put Chris Olavi in a position
where he couldn't protect himself
and he got knocked out.
I tweeted that Derek Carr should be fined
for basically throwing him a hospital ball
and being the sole reason he's concussed.
And Michael Thomas retweeted it.
Almost instantly.
And then went on a rampage.
I think Michael Thomas might blame Derek Carr
for the injuries.
Yeah, and he's very bitter.
Very, very bitter.
The third streamer here, it's gross.
I was going to take it.
Everybody hold their nose.
Hold that nose.
I'm not holding my nose.
You're in.
I was going to pick this name, but you
had him in the dock first.
He's playing against the Carolina Panthers.
It's Daniel Jones, who?
How'd that go for Derek Carr last week?
I will be in more with Daniel Jones than Derek Carr.
Daniel Jones has four top 12 performances on the year.
He's averaging 27 rushing yards a game.
That's a nice four.
And you know that any given week, Daniel Jones can have a ton of rushing yards. Carolina 31st in schedule
adjusted fantasy points to the quarterback position.
You're not buying into the Carolina winning streak beginning here?
No.
