Welcome to the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Friday, December 5th, 2025, the Fantasy Footballer's podcast, Mike Wright, Jason, Jason, more, Andy Holloway.
Welcome in, one and all.
The rest of the fantasy forecast on today's show, we'll play a little fantasy face-off, we'll talk some news, and we'll recap what happened last night, which he got off to a little bit of a slower beginning, and I started to,
wonder, oh boy, here we go. The big game, everybody's asking for with the, what, 53 and a half
point over under, and, um, you know what? If it was a 73 and a half, it would hit the over.
I know, maybe. I know whose fault it was. Just lost. No, that was on when Ross St. Brown's fault.
He ruined the magic. We don't, you didn't, you weren't content with 74 points. We had it going.
Yeah, do it. Imagine if they started off hot. Imagine. Oh, my God. Could have been a
Look, look, it was a surprise.
I said earlier in the week, there is, he's like Baker-Mayfield.
Amon Ra is a tough son.
He's just so tough.
And did you see the...
People were like he'll be a decoy.
I'm like, no, he won't.
Do you see the note that he is like, yeah, he knew Wednesday.
Yeah.
Ammira knew Wednesday was going to play him.
Yeah.
Insiders. Where are you at?
No, you don't get to...
Where are you, insiders?
No insiders with...
sun gods.
I mean, 44 to 30, the Lions win.
Somehow in a game with 74 points, there were only two passing touchdowns.
But there's, Jemir Gibbs, three touchdowns, he caught seven passes, the leading receiver
for the Lions, Jameson William, seven for 96, inexplicably didn't score on an end
around.
Oh, man.
I don't know how.
Oh, lost his feet.
He was coming around the edge, and it was just a clear path.
and then I'm in Ross six for 92 there was Mike's uh
mention's blowing up with the touchdown for the slah the Tesla touchdown was awesome
the missed touchdown on the right side where the like the defender fell down and it's like
Jared Goff how do you miss that throw I think how do you miss that throw I think there's a
good answer for that which is that was pretty much a play made to throw
the ball away. And by the time
he was letting go, he didn't realize the guy fell down.
I think it was just, they had to stop the clock real quick.
Perhaps. But man, he was, I mean, he was
wide open. It was, even if you started Montgomery,
who only had six carries on the game.
You were fine. You were very happy.
Javante Williams, you're happy.
There was just one.
Just one disappointments.
George Pickens.
George Pickens. Yeah, five for 37 in a game in which
C.D. Lamb, who got his
I should say massive disappointment. Like the
quarterbacks, it's salvage. With 300 plus yards, you're okay. Yeah, almost 700 passing yards
between the two. You're okay, but when there's 70 plus points on the board, yeah, I get it. I could be,
you could be a little frustrated, but George Pickens was the frustration of the night. Yeah,
and he deserves all of it. A tough lion's rush defense was very good, 67 yards and a touchdown on
the ground. They basically had to go to Ryan Flannoy, who had nine for 115 and a touchdown on
13 targets. Picken's only having
nine targets
in a game that C.D. Lamb was knocked out of.
If he didn't watch it, C.D. Lamb, he was
concussed. Yeah. The bad
news, it's
the week before fantasy playoffs.
The good news, it's Thursday.
Yeah. So you hope and pray.
And look, they're seasons on the line.
He's also a pretty tough player.
They're 6'6 and 1.
They're not out of it. They need him
on the field, especially if George Pickens
is going to leave his brain at home.
The Picking stuff is honestly, it's very difficult for me because there was,
like he's getting just dogpiled on social media.
Richard Sherman let him have it in terms of effort.
And there were definitely plays where you, especially late, a deep shot that the ball was
misthrown, but I mean, it's like it's underthrown, it's a little bit to the right,
but Pickens didn't even try to come back to the ball, which was, that one was, that one
was like egregiously bad to me but at the same time as soon as cdie was out it was just
full double cover george pickens make flanoi or whoever else beat us now super star wide receivers this
happens and you got to rise above it so i'm not i'm not letting george pickens off the the hook
here at all for it but it was i think a a combination of factors and there's got to be stuff we don't
know about there there is like what he was doing last night
than I prior.
Maybe.
Maybe.
I just, he's got the physical talent to be a premier number one highest paid record breaker.
This is why he went in the second round of the NFL draft to begin with.
It happened in Pittsburgh.
The ones that bother me the most, it's not necessarily even that deep ball if he doesn't think he can get to it.
It's just the plays that you know somebody like Aminara would never do, which is like giving up at the point of impact with the ball or not challenging.
So you give up an interception.
it just makes your
it makes your brain very confused
because it's all out in front of it.
He's been a dominant receiver almost all year long
and this contract that's on the table,
maybe it'll just be a franchise tag for a year.
Maybe that was it.
Maybe he got told this week.
We're going to franchise you.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
That was weird.
C.D. Lamb, 6 for 121,
before the injury, which was fortunate.
And Javante, 17 for 67 and 1, it's Friday.
Put Clan Friday.
Every Friday all year long, we give $100 away to Fantasychamps.com.
It's a great time to get it because you have your championships coming up, trophies, rings, belts,
all your swag for your leagues
or if you want to show up on draft day
fully swagged out. Fantasychamps.com is the place.
We're giving $100 a way today to P. Conley
453.
Pekonley-453. Congratulations.
Pecon.
Pecan.
Peacone. Lee.
Peacone pie.
Okay. Thank you.
Mike.
We'll get into the news.
News and notes from Around the League.
Presented by Progressive Insurance.
Well, we already talked about C.D. Lamb, so let's talk about T. Higgins, who was upgraded to a full practice with the concussion.
I thought it was a very good sign that he was limited on Wednesday.
Oh, for sure.
And it seems like with the season on the line and a big game coming up for the next two weeks for Cincinnati, T. Higgins is on the path to return from a concussion.
Dalton Kincaid remained limited on Thursday.
He was added to the injury report with a knee issue.
Oh, that's not good
Like we are
But he was still practicing
Maybe this is compensating for the hamstring
What's really tough here is I do have a bunch of leagues
Where I have like Dalton Kincaid and Kyle Pitts
And so
You know Kyle Pitts
I think he's good this week
I think it's fine
But then Mike made Buffalo
Tight-ins the start of the week as well
Well Cincinnati did that
Yeah, Cincinnati
Honestly I didn't do very much guys
So there's part of me that wants to hedge in some leagues
At least and have Dalton Kincaid in there
I mean, you'll know the bills are the morning game.
Yeah, to me, if Kincaid is active, I'll play him over the pits tier players.
Chris Olivae returned to a limited practice with the back injury on Thursday.
Alvin Kamarana not practicing.
Mike Evans, Jaylen McMillan, still limited on Thursday.
Jaden Daniels trending in the right direction to return this week.
Well, this is going to mess up my price picks.
Oh, yes.
Did you not see the Jaden practice full yesterday?
I just didn't put the pieces together.
I might have had a Marcus Mariotta.
Maybe.
Well, we'll find out.
Well, no one else in this office put it together either, because I sent it to multiple
people.
Not me.
I don't send it my lineups to you.
But also, if you had sent it to me, I sent them to the garbage.
If you sent it to me, I would say, this looks incredible.
Great lineup.
Yeah, great.
You should definitely go forward with approval.
Don't even think about it.
Ship it.
This is Monday, right?
Full cent.
It's a Monday game?
Yeah, yeah.
I think so. Perfect. Let me get my phone out. Why don't you guys cover some of the news here?
All right. Let's see. Burn $25. We got injury updates. Lamar is the interesting one. He did not practice Thursday. He got stepped on in Wednesday's practice, but he's still expected to play. It was funny because it was reported all week. Like, hey, finally, we're going to have a full week of practice for Lamar. These last couple weeks. The commanders are Sunday. They were Monday last week.
Yeah, you know, the last couple of weeks, Lamar's been really, really bad for fantasy,
not scoring like nine fantasy points, and he has not been practicing in full.
And this was like, oh, good, Lamar's healthy, he's going to practice him full.
They got stepped on, misses an entire practice.
They're saying he's expected to play.
I don't think it changes anything.
We think he's banged up and you're rolling the dice when you start him.
I still think you can, you know, to me, he is like the quarterback 10, 11 on a week where
if there are other really good options
like I think Stafford is a good option this week
I would I would do that
but Jacoby is the default
Yeah Jacoby for sure
I would do Jacoby but then
Yeah I'm still gonna play Lamar over over I'm not
I'm not going down to like a tier
Four quarterback
All right
Romadunes day still sidelined on Thursday
A lot of people last night they were like
Oh man now that I'm not going to play to Sla
I got to play Rome and I'm like
Rome's not playing I think
And so third option or leave to slaw in there?
Get some information.
Marvin Harrison, not practicing again on Thursday,
giving a little bit more of an upside for Michael Wilson.
And then Rams wide receiver, Devante Adams,
returned to a limited practice on Thursday.

four of the seven
matchups between teams
with the exact same record
which is kind of weird
two palindrome games
fantastic those are the best
inverse records they're not that great
and one featuring a current
non-playoff tent-seated AFC team called
the Chiefs. Wow
so there you go
man
all these teams are going to
figure it out
I know we're still way
we get closer and closer where now
for the first time you go
well, maybe there's a chance they'd miss.
Like the bills, the lions, the chiefs?
Yeah, but then in the end, they're going to figure it out.
We'll start with a same record matchup.
It's, we're here.
I mean, the Colts, 8 and 4, Jacksonville 8 and 4.
Oh, baby.
Battle for the number one seed.
Well, it's a home game for Jacksonville, but they're not favored.
Indianapolis minus 1.5 on the road.
Over under 47 and a half, tied for the third highest of the week.
You know, what I think is, I think Jacksonville wins the ballgame.
That's my opinion.
With the injuries on the defensive side for Indianapolis,
with the fact that Daniel Jones is playing through this injury,
with the momentum that Jacksonville has built, them at home,
I do like them to win the game.
Sounds like an almost upset to me.
I don't know.
I mean, one and a half points.
It just sounds like an upset to me.
This is the kind of game, though, where you talk about,
about Jacksonville in a positive light and they could beat 35 to 3.
You know, that's kind of the way that it works with them sometimes.
You know, the three division leaders right now, like one of these teams is Lee is going to lose
the game because that's how games work.
And that team might be tied with Houston at the end of the day because Houston's seven
and five, they've won four straight, Colts have lost two straight, Jacksonville's won three
straight, Titans are apparently still in the NFL.
You got Dunez there on the bottom.
so Jason you know
Mike had Trevor Lawrence just start of the week
you feel as confident as he does
I think he is
a fine start this week
this is a matchup I do want pieces in
Lamar or Trevor Lawrence
I won't go to Lawrence from Lamar
I would stick with Lamar okay that's
basically like the tier break to me where you're
going from like top 12
and four of five weeks no I
versus Lamar's four points
Trevor Lawrence was my stream of the week
that was my pickup to play off of the waivers
this week. I like it. And it makes sense. This is a great matchup with a high over
under. They're at home. Andy believes they're going to win the game. I think you could start
Trevor Lawrence, but I'm still in the side where I don't think Lamar forgot to be a great
quarterback and doesn't know how to do it anymore. Man, I think that's a really tough
decision. Mike, would you go Trevor Lawrence? I would. I think I would too.
that way well actually i said i'm not answering lamar questions this oh that crap you take that back
edit that but in general change his voice to one of those deep voices i would play crever words
thank you in the pitch black over there yeah we need that as a bit if you can if you could
shut one side down and just like turn them into a black a backlit camera with no light on the front
yeah black silhouettes and you can just tell your darkest truth i would start kyle pitch this week
You should look into that.
Carry on Johnson is a my guy again.
These things happen.
Jonathan Taylor, you play him.
It's amazing the lack of confidence I've seen
in the fantasy community about Travis E.T.N. right now.
You know, it's weird because there have been...
Because he's weird.
I mean, Travis E.T.N. is a top...
Well, he's at 13 right now on the year.
But that's with a bye week.
And he's had, like, what?
One, two, three, four, five,
six, seven of 13 weeks, he's a top 12 running dead.
So you've had these like prolific games.
And then even when he's struggled, 1830, 23, 32, it's not been bad.
And then last week you have one really bad game, worst finish of the year.
And everyone's like, do I even play him?
Well, I think it comes in concert with the work that Bachel Tutin's getting.
And you just, you are fearful that the takeover will happen where Tutant ends up at least in a 50, 50 time share, if not getting even more work.
That's the fear. But Travis E.TN is definitely a playable running back. The last six weeks, the Colts are 24th against running backs. I don't view this as a terrible matchup for him. And they're going to need him. I mean, this game is so important for who's going to be playing at home in the playoffs.
And then the Brian Thomas Jr. questions, I mean, look, I understand the narrative and storyline and why it could work.
I just think there have been a lot of times that the same conversation has happened over and over again.
That conversation is, it's pretty true against Tennessee last week when he did nothing.
It was pretty true against Las Vegas before the injury when he did nothing, right?
It's been true against Cincinnati when they had no defense and he did nothing.
So that, you know, this is the hardest player type in fantasy to deal with.
it's the player that's done it
it's the player with physical gifts
skills and abilities it's the player with high draft
capital that isn't doing it now
and those players you always see the path to them doing it again
and it might happen
yeah I mean I'll tell you where I have him
in my personal rankings like kind of
who I would play over him
and who I would play you know him over
I'm going to play Michael Pittman
and Cortland Sutton and Alec Pierce
ahead of Brian Thomas Jr.
three guys I was going to ask about. Well, there you go.
I would play all three of those guys ahead of
Brian Thomas Jr. I got
DK Metcalf. So I've got
DK, it feels
bad, but I've got him behind
Brian Thomas Jr.
Khalil Shakir behind Brian Thomas Jr.
Terry McClure behind
Brian Thomas Jr. Although that one, if
you want to roll, you know, in the heat
Troy Franklin. Would you play
Kobe Myers over him in the same game?
No, I would not. Because I would do that.
I would. And I don't, I don't fall
anyone for choosing to play Myers
over who's looked good with an early
connection with Trevor Lawrence, but
also that early connection with Trevor Lawrence
has been while, you know,
Brian Thomas was dealing with the Anglicer.
Brian Thomas is their number one wide receiver.
He's also their best wide receiver.
So you believe that Jacoby Myers
is a better wide receiver than Brian Thomas.
I think there is a chance.
The, what you kind of get, you have
to remember, you know, because
Jacobi Myers has
had multiple good seasons.
for the Raiders.
I mean, he was paid a lot of money.
Week one is quite good.
And then he falls apart.
And while you don't know what the truth is yet,
you don't know whose fault it really is
as everything just completely fell apart.
And it's Gino Smith and the offense.
Like this is, he was in an impossible situation.
He gets traded immediately is commanding a target share
and it is producing.
So I just, I'm my confidence with Chico's,
is it's coming back yeah it's just what is brian thomas at this point you know there are players
in the league who none of us would save Xavier worthy as a worse wide receiver than juju
in kansas city right in previous year but we'd also go into a week and say you know it can just
go really weird for worthy whereas you're going to get what you get with jacobi like
Jacoby's going to catch five or six passes.
He scored in two straight weeks, one of them with Brian Thomas Jr.
I don't know.
I just don't have any.
I'll summarize it like this.
I don't have any confidence at all in Brian Thomas Jr.
I would have...
None.
I would be more surprised if Jacoby had one of those, just, you know, a nuclear game.
At 8, 120 yards and two touchdowns.
I'd be more surprised at that than if Brian Thomas did it.
But at this point, I'd be surprised.
prize that Brian Thomas does anything for the remainder of the season.
I don't think anybody could have seen.
48th and points for game, Brian Thomas Jr.
So you take away the injuries and you just look at his performances and 48th is
incomprehensible.
Really hope he figures it out.
This is a great matchup to figure it out.
I mean, a game where you're going to need to score because the Colts are going to be
scoring.
They are down their number one corner.
And this is also a matchup where we've seen Brian Thomas do well.
Last year against Indianapolis, wide receiver 9, wide receiver 11.
Who's throwing the ball?
I don't know if that was Mac or I would imagine one of those.
What weeks did you just say?
No, he just said the two performances against Indy.
One was T-Law.
One was Mac.
Okay.
All right.
Yeah, I just, nothing makes sense and precedent for me this year with Brian Thomas Jr.
Because all year has been awful.
I will say, again, I don't know if I brought this up on this show.
I talked about it on the Dynasty show.
I went back and watched every on-field Brian Thomas Jr. snap, not just the three targets, obviously.
and he looked very healthy.
In the last game?
Yes, this last game.
He looked very healthy.
He was open.
He looked fast.
He was down.
I mentioned he was the reason
Jacobi had that 66-yard reception
because he went down and took out that guy
that was coming to chase him,
blocked the heck out of him.
He was helping every teammate up after every play.
He was like a big part of the game
even though he was only three targets.
So I am confident he's healthy.
I will say this.
Parker Washington came back to practice.
Yeah, that's fair.
The ball can get spread around there.
Yeah, Brinton Strange, your start of the week at tight in, Tyler Warren, you keep playing him.
He leads the team in targets per route run, yards per route, run,
fancy points per route run versus zone defenses, which is basically Jacksonville's defense is his own defense.
They play at 80 plus percent of the time.
Alec Pierce, I think you can start with excitement because you always get big playability
and he's just on the field and doing enough.
Michael Pittman, I think, was it last week?
That was a really bad disappearing act.
Yeah.
But he's playable.
a high over-under matchup here as well.
Daniel Jones is not so much
in the conversation anymore. No, not with
the leg injury. You don't expect to see
him scrambling a lot and
he's not playing the same.
All right, we'll take a break and get into some more
matchups.
Pittsburgh,
6 and 6, Baltimore, 6 and 6.
feel like
that's just begging for some sort of
Jason Mark of the Beast comment
It's tough because we're four
You know
I thought about it
It did the Beast get a tattoo
Yeah I don't know
It's like a mega mark
Vegas line Baltimore
Minus 5 and a half
Over under just 42 and a half
In this one
What a wild division
I mean Baltimore and Pittsburgh
Leading it at 6 and 6th
Cincinnati
Very fortunate for that
to be true and man it's it's going to be this is a big playoff game for both teams
Lamar we've talked about him at length terrifying on every level not just because
Lamar is obviously capable of giving you a great game at any moment but because it's a
divisional game with a low over under in a these ones can be dog fights these ones can be you
know, T.J. Watt is just got an extra pep in his step for a game like this.
You know, I think it's fortunate the games in Baltimore, but still, this could be,
like if you had to wager on 42 and a half, I'd probably go under.
Yeah, me personally.
I think the line is set perfect as it usually is.
This is a game where I agree, it could be a dog fight.
What happened last week where they got, the Baltimore Ravens got criticized for their use of Derek Henry?
Harbaugh came out and talked about how that happened, and it was pretty logical how it happened.
But Derek Henry was awesome, and when they used him, he was doing great.
And this matchup where, I mean, look, the Steelers, they're, you know, they're great, lauded, long-time, amazing, hard-nosed, tough, you know, blue-collar defense.
It doesn't exist.
They are one of the worst run defenses in the league.
uh if you adjust for scheduled their 30th in fantasy points given up to running backs on the season and
they just gave up a million uh this last week so to me i liked er kenry uh quite a bit
zay flowers is not really in the conversation for me anymore on a week to week basis i'd play
dkad play pity city i'd play really calil shakir yeah i have zero dot zero confidence in anything
meaningful for my fantasy team from zayflowers and then the over under
the Lamar injury, you just start stacking up the reasons why, you know, any player can do
anything on any week, but I- Are you playing D.K. Metcalf, Mike? I'm on break. Well, okay. If you had,
I mean, you have this matchup, right? You've got- Right, right, right. And I have these two guys.
I-Met-K. Metcalfe. It's, D.K. Metcalf is far more likely to hit the ceiling, but flower, I think
I'd still, honestly, would probably
still play Zay Flowers.
Like, if it, a small
sample, literally one game,
but the Tyler Huntley game,
should Lamar miss, it
wasn't incredible for Zay. He was
7 for 63, but he was 41%
of the targets. Like, he just
immediately would go to
Zay as the number one option.
I mean, it's been
it's been
average. It's been
average. He hasn't scored since week one.
Yeah, the touchdowns, well, he scored last week, and they said, no, we're not allowing that to happen.
He just, he is, his games are between 8 and 11 and a half points.
He's just been very average where D.K. Metcalfe has more ceiling games than he does,
but he has more just catastrophic games than Zayflowers does.
Jalen Warren?
Yeah, you play him.
Also, the thing with, with D.K., like this Rogers injury is,
weird
he's only averaging
190 passing yards a game anyways
which you feel every week
and now you add
Adam Thielen to the mix
in some capacity
I'm not worried about this guy
sure I'm not worried about seeing
if you if you're throwing for 190 yards
a game
and you're worried about Thielen's four yards
I'm worried about every four yard
feeling is so meaningless it doesn't matter
it's a game of yards
I believe the Steelers are the only
team this year that is not thrown for
250 yards in a game.
I mean, I think they've been incomplete on 25 straight, 20-yard throws, something like that.
I think they haven't completed a ball.
Over 20 yards.
What?
Yeah.
Kyle, you'll be able to track that down real fast for me.
Give me the actual number.
It's the amount of...
Like a 20-air yard pass?
Yes.
Any 20-air-yard passes, it's like 25 straight that they haven't completed.
Yeah, and there's like games.
They've gone games and games without completing a big.
play. This is in Baltimore. I don't think this is going to be a fun game for the Steelers.
I think it's not fun for either side. I don't even know if it's fun for Henry. I'm fine,
but Henry's still a top 12 start at worst. Jalen Warren just continues to get it done. And, I mean,
Kenny Gainwell, if you need him. Yeah, this is going to be a crazy, crazy, very, very meaningful
game that may not be as meaningful for fantasy. Yeah, I can agree with that. Did you find it,
You're on the microphone.
Do you end up finding the number?
They haven't completed a 20 plus since week 8.
Yeah, it's week 14.
It's a long time.
Dude.
Arthur Smith.
Aaron Rogers.
Yeah, you know, but I'm saying,
with our powers combined, we can be soup trash.
Just saying of like, he had Drake London.
Nothing.
He had Pickens.
Nothing.
Like, guy, I don't know, it's just, it's, it's crazy to me that you have guys who we now look at.
You're like, that's potentially a superstar wide receiver.
And Arthur Smith is like, nah.
Yeah, they've lost five of their last seven games.
Yeah, your dream's coming true, Jay.
I know.
It's like Aaron Rogers is going to show up and he's going to, for the first time ever, give them a sub 500 record.
Denver, here's your palindrome.
Denver 10 and 2, Las Vegas 2 and 10.
Yes.
Vegas line is Denver minus seven and a half
On the road over under is 40
But that gives Denver with the heavy favorite line
24 points Las Vegas
With a cool 16
competing with Tennessee for
Ew gross of the week
You remember this was the week 10 game
In Denver that was a horrific 10 to 7 game
The Broncos have won
Nine straight games
But their last four wins have been by 10 points
Every single
A combined 10 points
A combined 10 points.
That is the smallest margin of victory for any team in a four-game win streak in NFL history.
They are squeaking pie.
I really wanted them to lose to Washington just to teach them a lesson.
Yeah.
And they still won the stupid game.
It feels like every year there's a team that just the ball always bounces their way for that season.
Last year it was the Chiefs.
This year it's the Broncos.
And the ball bouncing their way even in before the game, Max Crosby.
who was limited on Wednesday, did not practice on Thursday.
Of course.
So if, I mean, if he's gone, now all of a sudden you can go.
They could win 11 to 7.
Yeah.
The wild thing about this, do you want your spanking now or in the playoffs, Denver?
Take it now.
Lose this game.
I don't think they can get a spake.
Go out there and lose.
Lose the game and get your spanking.
Motivate your team to know that it doesn't just always work.
Their defense is too good to really ever get blown out.
I can't imagine a team going out there and putting 35 up easily on the Broncos.
The part that's hard about Denver is like if Las Vegas, one great Brock Bowers play,
okay, you got seven points.
You return a kick because that doesn't involve their defense.
And you got 14 and then you're like, does Denver win or not?
I mean, that's how the offense feels.
It's why we have a hard time talking about wide receivers.
I mean, how many times in the last two years have we been like,
this week
it's Marvin Mims has finally really reached
the way it's Troy Franklin he's finally
going to be the Pat Bryant
is the guy you want to be Evan
Ingrams who's coming up and
Corland Sutton's sitting there touchdown or bust
and I don't know
it's just 10 and 2
okay congratulations
but I don't know who to play
yeah I don't know
it's funny because they should
score in this game
this is a good matchup
they also should have the first time. Yep.
Right. And so I would order it. I would put Corlin Sutton this week.
Yeah, I would put him first in the list. He does, you know, in the last three weeks,
which I think you've got to look recently because the Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims,
whoever the two is has kind of been rotating. And Corlin Sutton has the most targets,
the most receiving percentage of receiving yards, the highest fantasy points.
So I think to me it's Cortland Sutton and check out.
Keep your eyes on Pat Bryant and on Troy Franklin, but that's playing wise.
It's just Sutton.
If Pat Bryant, and who is now, of course, limited with a hamstring, but if Bryant got into this game, puts up, or is on the field for another 70 plus percent of the snaps, maybe the following week, all considered.
Even Green Bay is a tough matchup in two weeks.
But I'm with you.
I'm going to go, Cortland Sutton, Harvey.
It's so weird, yeah. Harvey should. Harvey, Gentie Bowers, you play all of them.
Yeah, Harvey should. The advanced analytics on R.J. Harvey are not good.
I think the biggest question is, is maybe Bo Nix.
I was going to ask you, Bo Nix or Lamar. I would go Lamar. I don't, Bo Nix hasn't especially big.
I would go Trevor Lawrence over Bo Nix. Okay.
Chicago's 9 and 3, Green Bay, 8, 3, and 1.
Green Bay, eight and a half, or sorry, six and a half point home favorites.
No respect to the number one seat.
Over under is 44.5.
That is wild.
This is the first time in 40 plus years that a number one ranked team is six plus point underdogs.
That's chalkboard material right there.
Write that up.
You think they have a chalkboard anymore?
That's whiteboard material right there.
And what a big.
Deal. I mean, this game, there's a lot of huge playoff games this week. They play again in week 16, these same two teams. So my goodness. 18 degrees is the current projection. When you start getting below 25 degrees, that's where you see an impact. So we'll have to pay more attention as we get closer to know whether or not, you know, that's going to hold. But usually when you worry about,
you know hourly like is this weather going to impact the game that's more specifically on
rain on snow like we got to be closer to know if that's going to come the temperature is pretty
predictable so this should be a for reason game uh big decisions for fantasy managers um i think
by the way i realize you never even hit your to slaw drop at the beginning of the show he caught a
touchdown i think people deserve one
come on i wanted the lights where the heck of the lights no i no no if he had if he had came down
with that second touchdown do we not have any lights i did i thought they were working i tested
oh wait we actually did you thought wrong uh kyle the borgogogan
he tried it again and it didn't work sorry kyle the borgan tweeted this one out
rookie wide receivers with four receiving touchdowns on fewer than ten receptions
Isaac Tesla
That's it
He should have had
At least one more
If we had one more
It would have been
It would have been pants off
Is that just become his position
Like you play wide receiver
You play tight in
You play touchdown
Like that's it
Tislaw is just
He's our touchdown
Touchdown guy
Yeah he's a touchdown guy
That's it
I'm just
I just wanted to see it man
I wanted to see if it would work
Oh I thought you meant the light
Yeah I did too
Oh no that you know
That will never work
Um, Caleb Williams, Jordan Love in this one, what a big game from Jordan Love on Thanksgiving.
I mean, that was, yeah, that was very nice.
Those are the games that really tantalize you and make you think that, um, you know, you could get that every week, but it doesn't happen that way.
And are you worried about him in the cold or do you embrace the Green Bay home matchup and think that, hey, at least on paper, the Bears defense gives it up to quarterbacks.
They give it up the wide receivers.
Yeah, I mean, I was really.
excited. Like, similar to Jordan Love, Christian Watson, his target share over the last three weeks,
20%, 33%, 36%, and this is a matchup where you want to throw on the bears. And so, yeah,
on paper, I really like the combination of Jordan Love, Christian Watson. The weather does scare me.
It usually, I'm having Kyle pull up the data. We've done the research, but, you know, I forget
every year when we come back to see how significantly it impacts the run to pass ratio.
so usually bad weather will be good for running backs and bad for wide receivers in the passing game
so I'll get that in a second is it good for a running back who's just been hurt nonstop for a month
I doubt it and Josh Jacobs maybe is that like a like an outdoor cold plunge where
recovery is nice right the the inflammation will be gone or does it just keep everything too tight
and you rip I don't know I don't know I'm scared I'm scared to every Josh Jacobs play
as the Josh Jacobs manager
this is he is the player
where every play I watch and I go
just get up fine
time slows down and you're micro
analyzing every movement I'm not
I'm not analyzing the movements I'm analyzing
how he stands up after he gets tackled
I'm like how are you standing you get
right up oh that you took a second
he's like no
Christian Watson
Target share is
balloon for three weeks starting that
Christian Watson or Brian Thomas
Junior, Jason. Oh.
That is really interesting.
Let me finish finding this data on the weather, and I'll get back to you.
I'd go Christian Watson. I'd play Watson.
Roma Dunzee has not been practicing. It might open up a little bit of a window for
DJ more confidence. I'm not going to say Luther Burden confidence, but Luther
Burden's possibilities. Yeah, that's fine. And Mr. Love Land.
Oh, Mr. Loveland.
Averaging five targets for...
Over the last six weeks.
I can live with that with touchdown upside.
That's passable.
Although the Packers, may they shut that tight-end position down.
Over the past six weeks,
the Green Bay Packers are allowing an average of 4.1 points to the tight-end position?
That's not a lot.
That is...
That's not a lot.
And Matthew Golden still plays for Green Bay?
is that do we think he's is he on the team oh man him and worthy they can just no who hit that no no
who do you think the packer's bay boy back there green bay boy back there green bay boy no you work on
the lights you don't hit that drop no matthew i was answering your question matthew golden and
Xavier worthy could just hold hands skip down the lane and just be hey guys remember how fast we
work whoa both first rounders right yeah
Whoops.
Fast first rounders sometimes go sideways.
Yeah, what was?
What, Hayward Bay?
Yeah.
At least Xavier Worthy.
He was real fast.
Yeah, that's too fast.
Xavier Worthy.
Thank you.
No, I'm just saying Matthew Golden didn't even have college production.
Well, he still hasn't gotten any targets either.
Just like college.
All right.
I think we covered that one.
We'll take a break.
We'll jump into some more.
Los Angeles, the Rams 9 and 3, the Cardinals, 3 and 9.
I mean, why even play it?
Why play the game?
well I play this game
the Rams 8.5 point road favorites overrunners
47 and a half. I hate the Cardinal. You got to let
it go brother. I hate him. You got to release
I love Jacoby. Release that hate from your heart. I love Michael Wilson.
I love Trey McBride. Oh, I love Tray McBride.
And then I'm done. I mean, you could
you could start Bam Knight if you
had to start Bam Night. I, you know, the Bam Knight, Devin'Neil,
Bam Knight, Chris Rodriguez. They're close, you know,
Kareem Hunt, BAM Knight,
okay, we're in
RB3 decision-making territory.
Yeah, all of those
players, it's,
who do you, well, who do you think
scores?
Man, I think
I personally would play Devin Neal over
Bam, and I think
I played Rodriguez over Bam.
Yeah, Bam Knight's been top
20 in three straight weeks. He seems to,
I don't know,
we keep thinking he's hurt, and then he keeps
keeps having okay games, but yeah, I don't mind those.
Kiron, they're managing him for playoffs, you know, what they care about right now.
So Blake Korum, does that put him in a flexible category?
Is he not quite there?
The only reason that I think it could be flexible is if the matchup, if, you know,
the high spread of the week, if they end up just dominating, they might want to give
Kyron more rest and Korum more work.
It's the highest spread of the week?
I believe.
Cardinals at home?
Yeah. It's one of the best teams in the NFL against one of the worst teams in the NFL. So the math checks out. Yeah, it's tied for the highest spread of the week. Yeah, I mean, I would prefer to play someone else other than Blake Corum. He is getting involved and that is impactful for Kyron Williams. But I don't know that he's getting involved enough where you're not going to be happy if he doesn't end up with a touchdown. Opportunities. So it was ramped up there. I mean, you had three games in a row of.
13 opportunities for him, then it dropped to 10, then 7, and then 7 this past week.
Is Matthew Stafford your start of the week, Jay?
Yes.
Okay.
Yeah.
So Matthew Stafford, it should be pretty good against Arizona.
And the nice thing about Arizona, at least, they're going to lose.
I mean, we know that.
But they could put up some points.
You know, hopefully.
Jacobius found a way against even the best opponents to, you know, seven straight top 12 finishes.
That's incredible.
I mean, you brought it up sometime this week.
his, since he's been a starter, like his 17-game pace is 5,300 yards and 31 touchdowns.
That is fantasy goal.
He's going James.
He's going James.
Puka, Devante, play them.
Michael Wilson, great opportunity.
If Harrison misses, even if he doesn't miss, I think Michael Wilson's okay.
I agree.
And you can't run on, you just can't run on the Rams.
Houston.
Yeah, the only question I was just going to say, the only question is if Marvin
Harrison plays, do you view him as a good play or?
I just think the targets will be there. They've been there with Jacoby
Berset. He had seven last week before he got banged up. I think he's good for eight,
nine point minimum if he plays. Houston, seven and five, Kansas City, six and six.
Vegas line Kansas City minus three and a half. Another super consequential game. The
overrunner is just 41 and a half. Two of the best defenses in football. Kansas
City on the outside looking in. They could go sub.
500 in this game and huge for Houston right they will be tied with one of those other two
division mates if they win this game the chiefs have flipped the script on last year remember
how annoying always winning the close ones was they're one and six in one score games this
that's just not a mark of mahomes and reed in in recent history and the texas defense is so
tough. Yeah, they're very, very good.
This is sort of the kind of
matchup that I think is the worst for Kansas City
possible. You know, when you don't have
Tyree Kill and you don't have prime Travis Kelsey,
you know, I think Rashi Rice is a really, really
good player, but he's also not
like, he's not built
to function the way that a Jamar Chase, Calvin Johnson, Justin
Jefferson is. He's a different player.
And I don't know if he's enough
on this roster talent-wise to get through a defense like this.
Yeah, I mean, they need a lot out of Travis Kelsey in this game,
and it's not a good matchup against Tite.
This is not a good matchup against anybody.
I mean, you look on the season,
the Texans are hysterically their number three against quarterbacks,
number three against running backs, number three against running backs,
number three against wide receivers, number three against tight ends.
Who do you have winning the game?
I've got the Chiefs.
It's just like.
Just because they have to?
Yes, exactly.
It's the script.
I mean, they just have to.
They have to win.
They don't make the playoffs.
if they don't win enough games from here on out,
and the Chiefs are going to make the playoffs
and everybody in the world knows it.
So it's like they just have to.
I don't know how.
I could totally see how the Texans who have been playing great,
and their defense is outstanding could take it to them.
But the rules are the rules,
and they're not allowed to win the game.
Are you allowed to win a week with Woody Marks in your lineup?
Because this is a rough matchup.
I would really not want to play Woody Marks.
Bam Night Woody Marks.
oh two awful matchups that is like i know uh i would go woody over bam i think that's bam
nico collins has been a top ten wide out in three or four weeks he's he's big strong
fast good play him in your lineup and then just uh probably try not to play too many other
players in this matchup two very good defenses and um you know it will be cold outside
And Nico's going to sneak his way back
into the top 12
Sneco
Okay
I'll allow it
Okay
Yeah
Rashi Rice of course
You play him and Nico
But
I'm kind of nervous about everybody else
Including the quarterbacks
I would agree
Would you play Lamar or Patrick Mahomes
Oh
Oh
Houston still hasn't given up a top 12
Right
They have not
The entire season
And they've had a
Hoosh
And Mahomes was number one last week
I would go with Mahomes, but.
Kyle says he has the exact decision in our chopped league.
Oh, yes.
You have Mahomes Lamar decision, Kyle?
I would play the healthy quarterback.
Yeah, Kyle, which way are you leaning right the second, Kyle?
Right now I have Mahomes in, but my heart wants Lamar.
Don't screw it up.
Philadelphia, Monday night football, taken on the Chargers, both teams eight and four,
Philly two and a half point road favorites.
The overrunner's 41 and a half.
Since the buy week, the Eagles have scored 10, 16, 21, and 15 points.
Oh, Blarf.
All their games are hitting the under.
This was at 41 and a half, so it's adjusted.
This would be the lowest of any of those matchups.
Both teams are really good in one-score games, Philly 7 and 2,
Los Angeles 4 and 1.
The Chargers offensive line is a major concern,
but we just found out yesterday that Jalen Carter is out in this game for Philadelphia.
and you know this was uh it was the scataboo game right that scataboo had the three touchdowns against
philadelphia jalen carter missed that game well technically he played he technically played his
way out yeah he played a snap and then scataboo went crazy it does change one snap one spat yeah it just
changes the way i look at hampton because if you're talking about committee you know we we heard it
would be committee with bucky irving it ended up being all bucky irving i don't think hampton has the
the kind of established
right yeah yeah
that bucky had you don't have enough
you don't have enough film on him no but i do think that it does open the door
it cracks the door open to where i'm like okay
if i am staring down the devon neal if i'm staring down the bam knight
kreem hunt woody marks or hampton my heart wants to go hampton i would play hampton
at home good the question and jaylon carter bringing out confirms it can you play
vidal sasoon as well as as hampton i the they have come out and said that he's played like a
number one, he deserves what he's gotten because he's, I mean, Vidal's been playing very well.
You look at what happened last week against the Eagles, where you had Manungai and Swift
just run all over them. Yeah, but that was the, that was the line.
No, I agree. You're going from a great offensive line in Chicago to a just depleted,
injured, missing offensive line for the Chargers. Red light, Greenlight narrative says this will be a bad
one for Vidal. It's held true too long to ignore. It's held true since week six.
Great, bad, great, bad, great bad.
You just got the great...
Man, I want to play Hampton so bad.
Right, don't we all?
Yes.
If he comes back, I want to throw him out there.
Okay.
Sequin or R.J. Harvey, if you had that decision.
Saquan has been just kind of okay.
I would play R.J. Harvey.
It's a great matchup.
He's got the chance for touchdowns,
and Barclay is going to get more work than R.J. Harvey, for sure.
But the touchdown upside, I mean, man,
Saquan has not been very good this year.
The Chargers against running backs on the season is not great,
but they have tightened it up in the last six weeks.
You see the huge limited shoulder injury situation?
I see it now.
Yeah, Quentin Johnston was limited on Thursday.
We'll keep monitoring that.
I don't know if it was in practice injury or something he's taken care of,
but we hadn't seen that before.
You're always kind of looking for some insight, I think,
with the chargers in terms of can you bend?
towards Gadsden having a good game
or Keenan Allen being involved
like I think Glad McConkey is the one
that's confirmed solid, good to go
but in a matchup like this
that might be where you stop the conversation
yeah and Justin Herbert let's not forget
Justin Herbert if he plays in this game he is playing
in this game one week removed from hand surgery
and it's a little bit concerning
it's a pain tolerance thing
who do you have one in this game
I almost push the button
but I just don't
the push comes to shove of this offensive line
and then the defensive pressure from the Eagles
I don't have the conviction in this one
I see it really heads up
and I might even lean the Eagles
yeah I would take them
AJ Brown Devante Smith you put them in your lineup
yeah the offense has not been great
but you got to play those guys
and I'm not sure there's other start
decisions we haven't talked about
I mean yeah well Dallas Goddard
he stopped getting away with it
stopped scoring touchdowns like crazy
yeah oh we have updates
yeah we've got a worthy
breaking news
not about worthy but worthy updates
Marvin Harrison Jr. has been ruled out
oh my gosh also over under
18 targets
yeah
in addition to that Cardinals news
it was just reported Kyler
Murray not expected to play again this season
as he's quote not
progressed as they had hoped you see his uh his tic-tok yeah he said weird year never again yeah
and i don't know what the never again means probably cardinals playing for the cardinals it's definitely
in the realm of possibilities um also update um reminding myself of now that we're back into the cold
weather months if there is not wind and there is not uh snow and rain cold freezing weather does not really
have a big impact. Okay. So I
would, to answer that question earlier,
Christian Watson, Brian Thomas, I'd be on the Christian
Watson side. Don
Kincaid will be questionable for week 14.
T. Benson is ruled out for the Cardinals as well.
Oh, he is?
Yeah. Okay. On the Tray Benson
news, we've been saying
Well, we've been saying... You are like so upset about
Tray Benson's absence. It's a shame because
he had the opportunity. I think he would
dominate. Yeah, to be really, really good.
It feels like it'll be Connor again next year.
Maybe.
It could be after that contract.
He is not technically
unallowed to play again this season.
Oh, because of the when they started.
Because when they started, he has to Wednesday.
So if they activate him by Wednesday, he could still come back this season.
Okay, that's good to know.
That's good to know.
Yeah, so, because people are, should I just full drop Trey Benson right now?
I guess the answer is just keep on your eye are for now.
Wednesday night?
We can't possibly have enough time for another segment, do we?
Oh, we can do this forever.
Fantasy faceoff
Presented by prize picks
Any chance Al
wants to do the shame
just because of the whole
like massive lighting snafu
Not a chance
Okay
Will of shame
I tried pretty hard not to be the shame this week.
We went, we tied on Sunday.
Well, actually, no, we tied on Thanksgiving.
Tied on Thursday.
Then we tied on Sunday.
And then we almost tied on Monday.
Almost tied on Monday, but I, freaking Juan Dale.
You did it.
I'm the shame again.
Spin it.
Spin the stupid, stupid, stupid wheel.
And don't pick a mask that's going to cut my face open.
But you might have.
All right.
What does that say?
Happy little trees.
Oh, there's a little Bob Ross.
Hey. Nice.
Oh, do I get the, I got the beard?
Oh, yeah. Very nice.
The Grizzly Adams have a beard.
Yeah. Oh, look it good. Happy little trees.
That's going to be real comfy. Oh, that looks itchy. Oh, man.
It's very itchy. Wait, this is a Bob Ross?
Yeah, that's a Bob Ross. I mean, well, whoa, whoa, what's all this Bob Ross talk?
Yeah, it's just happy little trees. It's just a, it's a guy with some curly hair. Help him out. Help him out, Matt.
And you got a paint brush.
very nice
this is so stupid
it's pretty bad
you can step into the shot man
it's okay
no he's got his bare legs showing
oh
you actually look better
have you considered this look
um
I think my dad looked like this in the 70s
no joke
no thing the beard looks good on you
but that hair looks pretty good on you
I want you to understand how much
how much fake hair I'm ingesting
yeah yeah it's an incomprehensible
amount. Mind you, I also might not even have a good lineup this week.
Because let's start at quarterback. My quarterback pick of the week is Marcus
Marietta more than 211 passing yards. Stick with it. This is going to be just a live
pivot. Whoever starting, whoever's starting, whatever their projection is, whatever their projection
is, I'm taking the more. I like what I've seen from the Washington passing
offense with mariotta and i'm not going to lose confidence with jaden coming in if that's the
case so that's where i'm going to go let me just put that down yeah yeah uh mine is jacobi brissette
his projection is 248 and a half yards he has not not not hit that in forever not not not
who's there um oh yeah oh yeah slam dunk oh yeah so i'm taking more than that obviously
no marvin harrison uh some banged up people around him it it that one is that one is
my most fearful projection is Jacobi percent, but I'm taking more than 248 and a half.
I was very thrilled, Jason, to hear you say that cold weather alone will not affect things.
Jordan Love? No, Joshua Allen. Oh, but snow does affect things. Yeah, but it's just, it's a little
bit. It's fine. Okay. Josh Allen, 19 completions. We're taking the more. Okay. Okay. I'm willing
this into existence, but this is Burrell versus Allen for everyone. You're welcome. I'm going to go to the
wide receiver position just because I have a
oh my gosh
oh yeah
this is worse than the last one
Terry McLaurin is my green
goblin 3.5
receptions I'm taking the more
okay I have three and a half
receptions as well but
mine is not a green goblin it's Christian
Watson's projection and I am
happy to hear that the
cold weather does not I think three and a half
receptions for Christian Watson should be
very doable.
My wide receiver, it is my green goblin.
It's Alec Pierce, two and a half receptions.
I'm taking the more.
Running back, I'm going Chase Brown.
I'm taking the longest rush from Chase Brown against Buffalo.
I'm going more than 12.5 yards.
Okay, okay.
That'll be a fun one to monitor as the game goes along.
This one, I think, is, I love it.
I feel like it was broken.
Bad projection.
Two and a half receipts.
exceptions for Bucky Irving. I'm going more than that. I think last week...
Here comes two. Yeah. Of course.
Been here. Of course, whenever I'm fully bullish. But Bucky Irving, I mean, he came back and
looked healthy. So I got, I got Chase Brown as well, but I'm taking just his overall
rushing attempts. It's a 12 and a half. I'm taking them more. So you're both at 12 and a half
is just a temps versus yards on a play. I'm being distracted by Joe.
Jonathan Gannon on if Kyler Murray will be Cardinals quarterback next year.
His quote was, I'm worried about the Rams.
His quote should be, that won't be my decision because I won't be here because I suck.
That would be a great answer, Mike.
Just tell the, tell people the truth, Gannon.
You suck.
I wish. Oh, I hate that guy.
I wish, like, how you hate the Cardinals?
Like, I can feel, I'm, I don't care about the Cardinals.
I'm just, I'm so done with that coaching step.
My tight end this week.
Into the Canon.
my tight-in this week
Darren Waller
oh really nice
I'm going his yardage number
more than 28.5 receiving up
nice I almost pretty good
yeah no I like that a lot I was
I was really close to doing that but I saw this one
for my green goblin
Gunner Helm is
you're going with a gunner helm
what was the one guy
Tommy Trimble
This is your Tommy Trimble
This is a Tommy Trimble part too
You can pick any of the tight ends
I know let me hear it
Gunner Helm, the Green Goblin.
What do you, what do you think it's going to be?
It better be 0.5 receptions. No, it's not 0.5 receptions.
Is it receptions? It's probably,
better be one and a half reception. It's one and a half receptions.
Okay, that's fine.
Four, six, and six receptions last three games.
Yeah, okay, that's fine. That's fine. It comes one.
Yeah, for sure.
The, the news on Marvin Harrison Missing, that is good news for my projection.
Oh, no. It's Trey McBride, seven and a half receptions.
Okay.
We're going more.
Yeah. All right. Well, it makes sense. More, more, more, more.
You want to, I'm eating hair right now, so.
I got you. That was Fantasy Face Off, presented by prize picks.
