Back in the building, a Monday episode. We have one game left until your fantasy playoffs. But we're a year-round show, so you hang around with us, and we keep talking about football. Yes, yes. It's never too soon. I, you know, we're all monitoring all of our leagues and some of us are fighting for the last spot in a couple of leagues.

And, you know, I was in the playoffs in the listener league. Yes. Like as going into the week, going into last week, you were a current playoff team. If the season ended in the listener league last week, you're in the playoffs. So I'm like, what is my job this week? You just got to go to an O. Just go to it. We got the median in there.

I just need to go to. Did you go to an O? Easily. Boom. Playoffs. Playoffs, except not. Huh? Except not, because somebody behind me scored more points than the system allows.

Than reasonable? Like an unreasonable amount of points? Passed me in points because we had the same record. So now I'm sweating it tonight. I think I need, I still got a good shot. Okay, what's your situation? I need one of the teams ahead of me went 0 and 2, and so they're going to tie me in record.

And they did not score many points. That makes sense. So they need Ladd-McConkie to score. score like 17. So you're, anti-lad. I'm anti-ladden. Okay. And then I think we'll all three be we'll be three of the six spots

in the listener league playoffs. That gives people if one of us is the champ, then that's a whole other spot open and available for next year's listener league. That's it. That's it right there. And I think Jason, you're in kind of a fight in one of our leagues trying to grab that last spot. There were like eight or nine

teams at seven and six or six and seven in this league. The most parody ever. Yeah, the league we play with Rich Eisen. That is the weird, the whole season, like all of the league was tied. Everyone's record felt like the exact same. I'm like, my team is really, really good. Yeah. And I'm the same record as half the people in the playoffs.

But I don't think I will get there in that one. If people want to join us in rooting against Rich Eisen. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Look, simultaneously great friend and arch nemesis. Terrible, man. Of the show. Just the worst.

Oh, wait. we're going, we're going personal. Because we love Eisen. Yeah. We can do this. I have Kuge and A.J. Brown. Uh-huh. And they will be facing off against Ladd. So Andy's anti-Lad, and I have my two guys versus Ladd.

It's just a heads up. Whoever scores more points will win. Oh, and it'll bounce him from the playoffs? If he, if Ladd does not outscore those two guys, then I can't get in the playoffs if Eisen's in, right? Right. Okay. So I need you to boot him so I can get in. All right. So we're all really anti-Leyloners.

There were some injuries that are going to have ramifications into the fantasy playoffs. Dude, I was having such a good morning. I totally forgot about it. Yeah, I'd wipe those out. Genuinely, is it worse right now to be a Cardinals fan where we know, like we're so used to living inside of the poop that we don't smell it anymore? If you live on the farm,

climbing that dirt. There is no scent. There's no smell. Or is it worse to be, so a Cardinals fan with no hope and the worst coach and all of this drama. I know where you're going and it's way worse to be a Colts fan. It is not fair to Colts fans. It is the worst most brutal. Let's trade for sauce because we're going to try to close out this maybe buy week type of team. Trade two first for sauce, not just to close it out and be a by week team, but to be a legitimate Super Bowl contender, not a playoff team. Oh, we can make the playoffs. This is. is we might finish the year hoisting the trophy. And now I genuinely do not believe they make the playoffs.

I don't think they're the eighth seed right now. So they're not in the playoff. And they're not going to be better. The tiebreaker, Houston has the tiebreaker. Oh, man. The team's ahead of them, Los Angeles. It's a big game for Los Angeles. And for those who didn't hear, Daniel Jones tore his Achilles.

So he is done for the year. The situation is done for. a year, really. It's insane because Daniel Jones was on a one year. Yeah, he's a free agent. They trade two first rounds because they know that we're going to lock up Daniel Jones as our franchise quarterback.

The dude has no more money left. He just tore his Achilles. It takes time to come back from that. Do you they'll pay him? Will you? That's what it will come down to. Do you think they'll franchise him maybe? I think they'll pay him. That would make sense. Now

that being said, it's tough for For the ownership, for the team, for the fans, you're in such a weird, hard position. The funny thing is he is a complete and open free agent, meaning, if they don't franchise him, he can go out and when you say they'll pay him, if I'm Daniel Jones, I'm taking the money. I don't know how I'm coming back from an Achilles injury. I test the whole market, not just Indy, and I go, hey, every team that needs a quarterback, because he just showcased himself. I mean, a franchise would make sense, but it's also like how soon are you going to be back? Is it going to be weeks into the season? It is the current timeline estimation is that he could potentially be ready for week one.

The hardest part about that is one. Part of his special sauce is running the football. So coming back from an Achilles injury and able to run is it's a tall task. Now, Kurt Cousin has got a big check after his Achilles injury. Yeah. But he was also much older. That's what I mean. Like he got a big check much older.

And look what that was. No, I know. I know. Achilles, you don't want to mess around with him. I would say Daniel Jones has made money Like do not forget He was a first round pick

So automatically he's made a good amount of cash Then he got that extension with the Giants That was like real controversy He doesn't have to take the bag He doesn't have to go get the biggest bag Because he's I think he'll be back with the Colts I think the Colts want him

He loves being a part of a franchise that wants him Yeah you had another win by New Orleans this week Which Tyler Shuck is playing well He's looking good I'm looking at the standings, like the big, I think one of the big changes this week to me is just the landscape of that top quarterback spot where, look, I don't think Tennessee

in any realm takes a quarterback. But now Las Vegas has a worst record than Cleveland does and is tied with the Titans. So Las Vegas could end up with potentially the number one picking the drought. They desperately need a quarterback. But they don't have the number one right now. Yeah, the Giants have the number one.

Like, if it's not going to be my Arizona Cardinals having their pick of whoever, I want it to be the Giants. I really do. I want the Giants to have the first overall pick, get just a haul. Oh, to move back. To move back. Move back. You've got your.

Move back, get a crazy offensive line in at like five with a hall of picks and be awesome. Yeah, you have a franchise quarterback. You have a number one wide receiver. You have a starting top tier running back. Like you have, and then you have some other ancillary pieces that are like, Gwondale and Slayton with neighbors? Yeah. Like that's, that is good enough.

They're made to be twos and threes and threes. What's funny is they could turn around so fast. They have the, uh, they have three or four games at home to finish the season against four teams with not, without raining. They play Vegas too. Yeah. That's going, that, our, uh, the tank, our tank bowl or whatever we call it. I think it's the dung bowl. I think we're going with dung bowl.

Dung bowl. That, that, that'll be it. And Cleveland, who, you know, because two of those people, picks. Tennessee probably won't take that quarterback. The Giants don't need a quarterback, assuming that DART doesn't kill himself on the field this year. Cleveland, man. Cleveland obviously does not need a quarterback now.

Right? By the end of the year, they may not. They shouldn't be talking about Deshawn Watson coming back and setting the table for that for us if they were looking at a quarterback. I mean, Shador went off. Shador had 46 fantasy points. Yeah. It was simultaneously like a great game for

Sanders, and yet I saw like the time of Like, he was holding the ball so long and... Stop backing up. Oh, yeah. Mike said this. Stop it. Stop it. Someone put a wall behind him.

Never. Just come up in the pocket. Ever, ever once seeing him step up in the pocket. He has stepped up to run. Like, if pressure's there and he escapes and goes forward, fine. Stop backing up. Outside of that, he's never once just taking that two steps forward in the pocket in his life, including college.

Yeah. And he's still, I mean, still a lot better than what they've had. Yeah. So we'll see. I hope he's great. I think it would be fun for all my sports cards. All right. We're getting into Monday Punday.

And then it's like, I don't know how to catch. It did. In all fairness to Abuka, it hit him directly in the hands. Right. So it's like maybe that was hard. Not the chest. Maybe they need, because all those amazing catches he made at the beginning of the year

that were difficult. Maybe when Baker sees him, he's got to throw it a little away from him. Like make it difficult. I feel like I have to defend him. Wait. This is how I feel how many targets do you think Emeka Abuka had? Well, it wasn't a lob. I just watched it. It's not a lot. If you were crushing Chris Olave

for two weeks ago, not catching that bomb pass, you need to put Ibuka into Davy Jones' locker. That was way easy. nine targets. Nine targets. It's a way easier catch.

I'm looking at this thing, man. It is a drop of all drops. It is so not. That was a warm-up rip. All right. Well, how about the rest? Because he caught two of his nine. Well, this has been the problem.

He caught two of his nine. He had 15 yards. He should have had an amazing game. That's the story of the last eight weeks. There's no defense. Yeah. It's so weird because this guy, I mean, I love him. He was my favorite water receiver coming out this year.

It was a my guy. guts off to a hot start, has the hamstring injury in week seven, and then... You turned off the faucet at that point. I would go talk to whoever my friend is in my dynasty league and just crap all over a book and be like, I'll take them off my hands. Let me do you a solid. I hate when people crap on someone and then they try to trade for him. I'm like, dude, I see right through you.

What's been really wild is, yeah, we saw the catch percentage with him, but like, Let's not bury the lead here. Like, they lost to the Saints. Like, this is the division leader. Like Baker was an MVP candidate. And then it's really falling apart for the entire offense. Like Baker of himself has been more inaccurate, more mistakes. The team can't move the offense.

I mean, look at this. They have Godwin back. They lose to the Saints. They can't get enough points on the board. The Saints are playing well. I don't think that the Saints look like a two or three win team. It is what they are, though. No, I know, but they also started the majority of the season.

They, you know, they were with the Rattler. And to talk about Baker, I know, like, things were kind of rough before the injury, but it's reminding me, like, in Cleveland where I think it was, was it year two or you three, I can't remember, where, I mean, he was just beat up. He had a one shoulder that was just annihilated. But because he's so tough, he plays through it. And he plays through it. And then you're like, well, you're not very good.

And if you didn't play, well, you're a baby. He's in a tough situation. Breaking news, Egbuka went gloves first quarter, no gloves, second quarter. Oh, man. Gloves back on in the fourth quarter. You got to go double glove. No, I was going MJ. Did he have just a one glove?

Did he have a, I was thinking, what was the situation? Not just two gloves, like two gloves on each hand. Fourth quarter was gloves again? Dumb and dumber style. Like make your hand sweat. By the way, Baker, how many times in the last seven weeks does he throw him more than one touchdown pass? In the last seven weeks. Seven weeks.

Once? One time. That makes sense because there's one good game for a boca. He keeps throwing to Abuka. He's like, catch the ball, dude. Abuka in the last eight. It wasn't just him. Godwin dropped a wide open touchdown last week.

Buka in the last eight games. So that's like half a season. I was hoping we'd never talk about him today. Sorry. Half a season of a buca. This is the news section. This is breaking news. Half the season.

Eight games played. He is on pace for 153 targets. You can't ask for more than that. 60 catches. What? 40% catch rate? I can't remember. Well, he was catching everything in the beginning.

it's terrifying for Michael Pittman managers it is bad for all it's bad for Tyler Warren what if you oh for sure what if you have Jonathan Taylor

and Michael Pittman and you're heading into the playoffs as an underdog. And you're heading into the playoffs as an underdog. We obviously just asked you for a friend. It was like half a game or whatever. But Riley Leonard really hyper-targeted Michael Pittman.

No, no, no. I know he had 34% target share in the past steps from Riley Leonard. That's all fine and dandy. But if you, I mean, we were watching the game. That game by that time was such a blowout. The Colts were manhandled by the Jaguars. And so at the end of the game, I was watching those, getting those juicy, stanky garbage points

from Michael Pittman. But it was just it was like he'd take the snap the defense drops back like 30 yards and then he'd throw it six yards to Michael Pittman over and over and over sure. That's just not. I mean, I've got to give you some hope. But that's not the neutral case situation. Exactly. No, it's

terrible. Jaden Daniels also got hurt again. Oh, man. If you remember my prize picks was the switch from Mario to Jaden. If they had both combined for 200 points, would you have given me credit? Did they? No. Then yes.

Then yes, I would have. It was terrible. And again, this injury, we've at least seen Marietta a lot, but it's not what you want. Now, the good news is it appears that the game was kind of out of hand. They got so out of hand. And so they didn't put Daniels back in the game, but it was said that they basically could have that I think was a pain issue, not a re-injury issue. So hopefully he's back next week, but it's also one of those things where it's like, it's very difficult to be like, why is he playing football?

This team has three wins. There's very little play for. And he's obviously still dealing with an injured arm. I wouldn't want him in that situation. Now, in that same game, there was a real injury, a sad injury, a brutal injury, but we should have seen it coming. What do you mean you should have seen it coming? Oh, stop.

Oh, my gosh. You're asking us how to fish. Keaton, Mitchell left with the knee injury. He had a big run. D.K.M.K. We're powered down. I don't know if you guys out there saw the run. It was Keaton.

It's Keaton Mitchell, whose calling card is speed. Fastest guy by. And he broke to the outside and got caught because he like, do you see the college play that happened last week? Oh my gosh, I showed Mike. He did. Where a guy's wide open, there's no one in front of him. And he's got, like, a defender six yards behind him.

And he's just got the sideline to run up. And he's at about the 30, he just runs out of bounds. Yeah. And the commentator's like, no one's going to catch this guy. He ran out of bounds. What did he do? There was no momentum. No, no moment.

He just chose to like, left turn. I want to end this play. It was so peculiar. I've never seen anything like that. DK Mapcalf stayed overnight in Baltimore after going to a local hospital following the game, experiencing stomach pains. We haven't heard anything else. The stomach pains were he got target volume and he didn't know what to do with it.

Let me just say this. D.K. Metcalf dominated. Assuming he's perfectly healthy and jokes are allowed, it's Skittles. Yeah, it's definitely skittles. David Nogoku left early with a left knee injury, Harold Manin Jr. Boy, he's a great player. He is. That's the player I would be targeting heavily in Dynasty Leagues because I still feel like his true value is not the value is now.

Oh, yeah. David Nogoku. I mean, even, even, we'll talk about it tomorrow on the Waiver show, but like Nojoku caught a touchdown, went down with an injury. Fanon rest of season is a great play. No, Joku's a free agent? No, I don't think so. I think he's got a contract. I'll look that out.

But I went and did some diving. He's a free agent. Because if you out there did not see it, it looked like Mason Taylor possibly maybe broke a tackle on a plate. But you're saying it didn't count as one? And so I was like, man, I want to see what the graders did. So it's like PFF, fantasy points. I went and I checked that out.

They did not give Mason Taylor the mistackle force or however they want to credit. But at the top of that list, Harold Fanon. This is PFF's great. Harold Fanon is credit. I mean, it's also like jukeing people and things like that. It's forcing a mistackleckle. So he's probably just got a few more. He's at 20.

Oh my. He's so good. Tray McBride is second with 13. Harold Fanon has 20. And McBride does it all the time. And by the way, Colston Loveland has more than Tyler Warren with two fewer games. this is just like this game is beautiful yeah it's awesome two great quarterbacks playing out of their mind I mean And the aesthetic was wonderful. Oh, gorgeous, man. What a great game.

It was awesome. I was like, this sucks. Man. This is terrible. It's perfect timing after I said you need a good snow game. Man, we got one. We got one. And you got two of the three top scores of the quarterback.

You do not feel good. He's been a top 12, three out of four weeks. He's playing very, very well. I'm just thinking Jaden Reed's back. Christian Watson is dominating. They have weapons now again. Yeah, I mean, his consistency rating is still an F. 29% of his games.

And I realize now he's, 17 weeks. I'm talking about right now. But if you're talking right now, he plays Denver, in Denver. In the fantasy playoffs? I don't know, man. I would be hard-pressed to, I wouldn't want to go into my fantasy playoffs with my quarterback playing against Denver unless he's like Josh Allen. Um, okay.

Ryan Flanoy, if CD Lamb misses this week, 13 targets 9 for 115, he could be worth a shot against Minnesota, but that'd be a scary start, a backup option situation. And that's a tough defense. D.K. Metcalf and Zay Flowers, who, where has this been? You had to start both of these guys. guys and they both had their best weeks of the year really. I've been starting these guys all year long. Where has this been? Now you're like this week didn't matter. You're basically on a buy, a pre-buy week because you're already locked up in the buy. And then get it out of the way
