Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Oh, welcome in.
Jason's alive.
Yeah, baby.
L-I-N, but barely.
Oh, my goodness.
You're kidding.
Welcome in.
Cloud 9, brother.
Tuesday, December 2nd
Oh my goodness
That game
We have all three of us here today
Which I wasn't sure was going to be the case
But everything went well for Jason
Everything went well for me
I only shared the Hunter Henry side of things
Which was the primary thing
I needed Hunter Henry
Which he tried so hard to score a touchdown
Right off the bat the beginning of the game
It's like well I'm dead
He's going to get a huge bomb touchdown
Thank you for stopping that
Touchdown
Was that right off the face mask
Or is that another one?
No, that was another one
There was several huge opportunities here
But
And he still had a good game
He still had a great game
He scored about half a point
Less than he needed to
Hunter, great work
Wait, did you only win by like half a point?
Oh yeah, I think it was one point something
Unbelievable
Yeah, it was a very close victory
Now, it's so important for you to remember moments like this
Yes
Because these are the ones fantasy players forget
They forget their narrow wins and their good fortune on a Monday night.
They only remember the devastating losses.
Well, I've had so many like one point losses this year.
So this was great to have some luck, some fortune on my side.
But then not only did I win and get median because Theo Johnson just barely didn't do enough,
but then there was one other.
Yes, he dropped a touchdown.
He makes that.
I don't get median.
But then there was another, my opponent who was changed.
after me for the playoffs, was playing against Papa Josh's team. And unfortunately, my opponent
went off, scored like 150. He was the highest score in the league and was going to win.
And so I can't clinch. And Drake May, baby, without throwing a touchdown to Hunter Henry,
goes and puts up. Yeah, you had a perfect night. She has to enough. I think they,
did you guys even win by one point? It was like a razor's edge. So I walked the tightrope.
And you, and I did not fall. You did not fall. I would like to share some of the
stuff I can share from our company Slack.
Okay. But
you were just, we're, Jason
was stressing out. I mean, we're
all on this ride together.
Watching, you know,
the touchdown that gets called back, all
these end zone targets that just keep
narrowly missing. And
Jason's talking about, he's like, I
can't be more clenched than
I am right now. And we got to
the point where he says,
my butt hole is no longer
openable. Oh my God.
He said that?
He was so close.
He's like, I'm going to have to get a surgery just to reopen.
I've been clenched so hard for so long.
And you were, I thought you weren't going to watch.
My family couldn't talk to me.
Oh, my gosh.
I was just like, I couldn't have emotion.
Even after the game, when everything went perfect, I couldn't really celebrate because
I was so locked down.
I was just like.
So unbelievable that it worked out.
It was impossible.
The narrow.
misses yeah yeah it was awesome yeah so i'm i'm taking this week off because it doesn't matter anymore
jason is locked in and uh we are locked in we got a waiver show for you today we have an announcement
here we've got our megaladon winners and there's a lot going on i mean we have our streaming
quarterbacks as well one week left to the fantasy playoffs for the majority of leagues i did
notice on twitter somebody somebody made the comment i noticed you guys have been noticeably quiet
about your chopped league lately
that's because we're all
chopped what league what is dead camp
talk no I was trying
to hold on to it for a little while
I don't even remember that these two guys were
chopped early we were led to the guillotine
the revolution did not work
I think I was like it was 17 team
league and I think I was the eighth
to last or something like that and then
the league's gone when you lose
and you're out that league never existed
to begin with I literally don't know what you're talking
so Kyle has up
us. Kyle is still active.
We have, Betsy just went down
this past one. We have our writers, Joe and Marv
still alive, and Schneider.
Schneider, the, one of our
developers. Oh, my co-manager.
That's right. You should
have co-managed. And those teams are super
stacked at this point. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Let's go ahead and
let's announce
these Megalodon winners with some fanfare.
Do we have an announcement?
We had a Jamar Chase
signed jersey. By the way, thank you to
everybody that got hashtag triple-gobble into the trending topics on Twitter.
It's really kind of the pinnacle goal of our lives every year.
So Jamar Chase signed jersey.
That one goes to at in Shandradat.
Mm-hmm.
Also known as Navin.
So congratulations on that.
Josh Jacobs signed jersey.
That one goes to Airy B-93.
And Colston Loveland signed mini helmet.
That one goes to Noah at Mastow 1332.
Mr. Loveland.
Mr. Loveland.
Somebody said the only Colson Loveland would have two of the best nicknames of the year.
He's Mr. Dogland.
Yeah, and Mr. Loveland.
Mr. Loveland is.
That's Mr. Loveland.
That one is top tier.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's pretty fun.

One slight other update from Monday night football
before we break it down and get into the waivers.
Well, yeah, there's some stuff to talk about in the game.
Yes, yeah, yeah.
I meant breaking the game down.
But I just, one other thing that was going on last night
is that we had our prize picks fantasy face off last Friday.
Jason and I picked...
Well, Thursday.
Or sorry, on Thanksgiving.
Oh, yeah, so Wednesday.
was when we predicted them.
And then Thursday the games played.
Jason and I ended up tying.
So we're like, well, let's tie break this.
Let's go into Sunday.
We tied again.
And then we're like, let's tie break this.
Let's go into Monday, but let's pick five picks on Monday to figure out who the shame is.
Jason went three for five.
I went two for five.
So I am the shame.
I had the one that broke me was Wondale.
I had him eight and a half targets.
he had eight targets in the beginning of the fourth brutal and just never got another target so jason
wide open all yeah jason like literally threaded the needle there too like you won the shame it was a
perfect on top of everything but the patriots 33 the giants 15 giants now two and 11 Patriots 11 and 2
Drake may 282 and 2 in a clean whoopin that's what I call it it was clean whoopin it was and then yeah
I mean, you disagree?
Well, the clean part.
I feel like it was, you know, there was some hits that were so violent.
I feel.
They were clean, though.
I didn't understand.
Can you guys explain to me the one that knocked out Gunner, the punt return?
Yeah, it was Shevsky.
You just didn't want to say that.
Yeah, thank you.
The hit that knocked him out that caused the fumble that really at that point in the game just really turned the tides.
the special
you know
ref helper came on and said
well he was a runner so he's not protected
from hits to the head but it was straight helmet to helmet
Yeah but you can do that
You can straight helmet to helmet guys?
Yeah yeah yeah what?
Yeah if you're a runner
I was unaware that you could spear someone
in the helmet with your helmet
You can't do it to a quarterback and you can't do it to
someone catchless receiver
Someone catching the ball right as they're catching it
Yeah
but I mean helmet to helmet
happens all the time.
Yeah, the Jackson Dart hit on the sideline, which was an annihilation.
Dude, I mean, yeah, it's just on Dart.
Jackson Dart.
Well, he doesn't seem ready to make a change.
He said, this is football.
I've played this way my whole life.
We're not playing soccer.
Turn on my high school tape.
Turn on my college tape.
This is not a shocker to anybody.
It will be a shocker to your future self.
Yeah, okay, a couple notes on that.
Like, yeah, you could get away with it in high school and college.
because you were the 1% elite athlete.
Everyone in the NFL is the elite 1% athlete.
Even the guys who suck.
You were the Cam Newton of your high school.
You were the Cam Newton of your college.
You're not that with...
And we're not saying don't run.
Yeah.
Look at the guy.
Lamar.
We say this all the time to our kids.
Choose your battles.
You got to know when to not have to fight for the extra yard.
And on that one, he wasn't going to get the first down.
He was just trying to get closer to the first down.
step out of bounds, man.
Just step out.
Yeah.
Instead, he went to outer space.
He got, I mean, that hit was awesome.
That was borderline helicopter level.
That hit was awesome.
Because it's like we're all, especially New York fans, but I believe NFL fans in general, maybe not their division.
You want Jackson Dart.
We all want Jackson Dart to be great.
We want all these new franchise quarterbacks to be.
It's like, even with all the weird talk of Shadour, if Shadour's the start,
we want him to be great.
Tyler Shuck, we want him to be great.
We want a great NFL product
and you will take that away from us
if you don't protect yourself
at least a little bit.
Trayvion and Ramandre.
Oh my gosh.
12 carries for Ramondre, 11 for Trayvon.
Trayon with 67 yards
and a 26-yard run.
Ramondre with a 40-yard knight.
He did have three catches for 40 more.
He had three catches for 19.
He had a,
huge catch, great design play where he leaked out and got a huge gain. It was, like, Henderson
doesn't, probably doesn't score on that play, but if that plays Henderson, he burns the first
guy. He would have to simply beat one man and he would have scored. It's, it's going to be what
it is. They are a winning team. They're 11 and 2. They might be the best team in football.
Eight different pass catchers, seven of them with three or more catches. Spreading the
ball around and the one that didn't have three
was Kyle Williams who had a pretty sick
touchdown. Did you guys think
that was a touchdown? Which one? Yeah.
The Kyle William? The left foot when he
first caught the ball was already
down. I watched it like 10 times this morning
and I know what you're saying
Jay. Yeah, because his knee. The debate was whether
he had real possession at the time. Totally.
And I was not, man, I was not convinced
watching the replay. So my opinion on that
play because once he goes down
out of bounds, his knee touches out of bounds
before the presumptive second foot gets down.
So it's really just a matter of whether or not he had possession when that foot was down prior.
Yeah, and I thought it was very debatable.
To me, it was very debatable.
It was bang, bang.
But ruling on the field.
One, ruling on the field, so you have to uphold that.
And two, it was awesome.
Yes, thank you.
That was going to have my third point.
Like, when you do something awesome that's so debatable,
like, well, tie goes to the yes, tie goes to the.
cool. Ty goes to the awesome. Yes, tie
goes to the awesome. Yeah, that would be great if
they got out and they said, honestly, we looked at
it. Kind of 50-50 here.
Play. Play was pretty dope.
So we're going to let it stand. Touchdown.
Let's get into the news.
News and notes from around
the league. Presented by progressive
insurance.
One of my
tie-breaking prize pick
picks that I missed out on was due
to Tyrone Tracy
being injured in this game
I had taken a lower
number on Singletary. Tyrone
Tracy left with a hip injury, didn't return
makes Devon Singletary a very interesting
waiver pickup because of the by week coming up
for New York. We'll get into it,
but Singletary ran well actually.
He did. Justin Herbert
underwent surgery on Monday morning, which
is not necessarily what I like to do right
before I play another game. But the team is
calling him day to day ahead of Monday night football.
They say it's going to be a pain tolerance
issue for him to be out there on Monday.
for fantasy players, I do not have that kind of pain tolerance to play Herbert off of surgery against the Eagles.
So I'll just play somebody else.
I completely agree.
I do expect him to play right now from what I've seen.
The fact that he was able to play in the game with that broken hand,
now he's going to have some screws inserted and some security added to the hand.
Like people standing outside of it?
Right, exactly, making sure no one can touch that hand.
I thought maybe one of those tags that you get in the store that beeps if you go.
the magnet the banners yeah a little censor um but some of the um you know doctors that i look at um chow expects
him to play this week so it's good news for you get the extra day yeah you get the extra day
it's good news for the the other pieces like if if omarion hampton ends up active in this game
it's much better for him to have Herbert Herbert behind center i mean just mac jones would not have
gotten surgery on that one by the way oh no no mac jones
would have given surgery.
Would have turned it down.
If you're going to ride with Justin Herbert to pick up Traylance.
Oh, gosh.
And get your Monday Night miracle.
I just feel like Mike's invulnerable right now with his take.
So I almost brought this up.
So you were talking about the touchdown, whether it was Kyle Williams.
So Kyle Williams is kind of one of Mike's like, Mike had three.
He had three dudes.
His loss scored this week.
He was going to be starting every snap.
It was Pat Bryant against Dallas.
It was Pat Bryant, it was
to Slaw, and it was Kyle Williams.
Yeah, while CMC is dominating.
Luckily, he took some power
from Rico Douddle this week. That's the only thing that happened.
Ken Walker's okay right now.
Mike also... Mike, you need to buy
some lottery tickets. Mike also
in the League of Record
and the Main Dynasty League, which are the two leagues
we care about, the most. He has
double buy weeks. He's already locked up. Like, I've got
a buy week, but not really.
Like, I'm... Right. My seating
doesn't really matter this week. Playoffs
So I'm taking a mental break this week.
Next week, playoffs start, and I'm playing.
Mike is not.
Mike is on a true buy, but he's locked it up in both leagues.
Yeah.
What else is going right for you, man?
You jumped in my card stream last night.
You hit the best card in the break.
That's right.
You got a Jackson Dart on a Jackson Dart in the break.
So I just am so happy that-
Life owes me this right now, guys.
I'm so happy.
Summer was rough.
That this is happening now and not three weeks.
Oh, yeah.
No, there is.
there's pain to be had
there are very very large expectations
for me and my teams
good thing you bailed out on
Justin Jefferson
my goodness
T. Higgins in concussion protocol
still for the Bengals
we were talking about this
in the context of like
if you have the Burrow Chase stack
you're like do you want Higgins there
do you not want him there? Yes you want him there
because more volume will probably go to Chase without
Higgins but then Burrow himself
loses a weapon and Mike you just spoke to it
you would prefer him. What was
I'm embarrassed. I can't even
who was that third guy who kept taking
Yoshavoss's targets?
You're talking about Mitchell Tinsley.
Tinsley. Yeah, Tinsley and I was just
screaming and slack. I'm like, stop
throwing the ball to Tinsley. What are we doing?
He didn't do much with it. He was the preseason
darling for them if you remember. Yeah, I think he had nine
targets. DUD. Yeah, nine targets
only two reception. So yeah, it was like
why are you doing that? And I think it was maybe
to do with the Christmas season.
He is named for December.
So Tinsley is going to, you know, this is his...
Yeah, for sure.
That's for Tinsul?
Yes, wish.
I was trying to find the...
No, I knew it right.
It's like his last name's not mistletoe.
Rahim Morris said Drake London
has a chance to play this week.
Okay.
Yeah. Okay.
That wasn't a bad game for
for Pits last week. He had 82 yards.
J.J. McCarthy expected to start for the Vikings
in week 14.
they have no choice
when the janitor turned down the opportunity
Adam Schaefter
reported Aaron Jones not believed to have suffered
a serious shoulder injury day to day
monitor that for the Jordan Mason pickup today
and the Vikings
they basically
out of respect for Adam Thielen
Adam Thielen requested to be released
he was released it's his last year
and he's going to go try to find playing time
yeah he went into the organization
and said guys I've been watching
these quarterbacks I need to
Will you please let me go?
I would like to catch a pass before I retire.
Yeah, he said if you play me every snap, I still won't catch a pass.
Jaden Reed, yet to be medically cleared to return to action,
but the plan is to see where he's at the end of the week.
So he's in the 21-day window, Jaden Reed of the Packers.
Mike Evans, this is wild.
Buck's head coach, Todd Bull, said Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan could return to practice this week.
So you could end up with a team that has been so banged up.
No Bucky, no Mike Evans, no Chris Godwin, no Jailen McMillan.
no Jalen McMillan. None of these guys for large stretches of this season going into the
playoffs with a team that has had to overcome some of these things and now actually has
everybody back. Could be a fun offense here. I mean, that puts you, Taz is your five at that
point. Yeah. If McMillan's back on the field or you're four, whatever. Yeah, I was going to say.
I think he's better than McMillan. Jonathan, man, McMillan was so good last year, though.
Yeah, he was. He did the Amin-Raw rookie second half. Big news for the Cardinals.
will not open the 21-day window for Kyla Murray.
They will push him out of a window later this week.
Amon-Ross St. Brown did not practice on Monday with the ankle.
He'll be really questionable for this week.
He's Thursday, a reminder.
And that'll do it.
So that was News & Nodes, sponsored by Progressive Insurance.

And then we're talking big time.
Playoff waivers.
Welcome to the Waver Wire.
All right, well, nothing better than week 14 buys, right?
Like I popped into like my six teams this morning and had to switch players out of all of them in week 14 because, you know, that's when players really need a break, right?
Yeah.
When the season's whining down, hey, why don't you, why don't you take a break?
So the 49ers...
Mike is so thrilled about this.
The Christian McCaffrey managers are...
Oh, because you're guaranteed to have them for the playoffs now.
Fist pumping.
We are so excited that Christian McCaffrey is resting right now.
Right now?
As long as you have a playoff spot, you're happy.
And if you have Christian McCaffrey, you've got a playoff spot.
You have a good chance that you made it.
49ers, Giants, Panthers, and Patriots.
So the Patriots and Giants from last night and the Panthers and 49ers all going on by in week 14.
All right, gentlemen.
week 14 waivers let's start at the running back position there are a pile of names it is
this is the time of year i'll say this like i found it very difficult to put them in a certain order
this week in part because of what do you need like when we were talking about it in the office
there is do you want a player that has the highest potential to help you in the fancy playoffs
do you need a spot start situation for this week alone to get you into the playoffs that
really defines how I would order some of these players. Some count as both, obviously,
but that's the thing that made it difficult for me. We are waiting on Amari and Hampton to
see if he will be back this week. I think there's a good chance with the Monday night game that he
will be. When is his window? Is this week two for him or week three? He would still have another
full week if they don't activate him. Yeah, I do expect him back, but TBD. And then what is the
utilization and it's against Philadelphia? Trey Benson. That one,
is really concerning. So Trey Benson
last week
was back to practice. His window
was open. That was week two of his
window. And it looked like he was
really close to starting and then come
into the following week
and he goes from a limited participant
to not participating, not
active. And now
if he doesn't, if he's not activated this week,
he is done for the season, can't
return. It seems like
he had a setback. We don't
there has been no reporting that he did.
But, I mean, you don't go from practicing to now I can't practice without a setback, right?
So, like, right now...
In Arizona, anything's possible.
Yes, right now, to me, I'm like, there's a greater than 50% chance that we don't see
Trey Benson again this year due to a setback, and if he can't make it on the field.
So that pushes Bam Knight up a little bit for me.
It's worth throwing the name out there to start the segment.
Kyle Monongai, rostered in 66% of leagues, but he had another 130-yard game.
He would be the pickup.
Well, what's funny is I think, so he plays at Green Bay.
And I know that Chicago just manhandled the Philadelphia Eagles on the ground game.
The Green Bay Packers are a very difficult matchup as well for running back, really for everyone.
And then it's like Chris Rodriguez plays Minnesota.
Yep.
And there's a chance that Jane Daniels is back.
I feel like if you're talking one week.
week. You've got to get a win. I think it might be Chris Rodriguez. I think Rodriguez is a great
player to have on your roster. We've been saying it for a few weeks, 42% rostered. Do you like
him more as a spot start than Mason on the other side of that same game where Washington is
much softer as a defense? Because I have Mason ranked higher. It comes down to Aaron Jones.
If Aaron Jones misses this week, they're calling him day to day. He re-agravated his shoulder.
I guess I was presuming him missing. But if he's gone, I would I would rather have Jordan Mason
ahead of Chris Rogers.
I feel like it comes down to Jaden for me,
which we don't have that.
You won't have that info on when the waivers go through.
I don't think he's going to play.
You don't?
No, because he hasn't even gone through all of the contact-oriented clearances
that I just feel the cost-benefit for that team right now.
They competed again last week with Marioita.
I don't know if Jaden gets back out there this week.
But I do think what I don't like about the Rodriguez thing is just game script-wise,
it's tough sometimes.
You see Jeremy McNickles in on all,
Sure.
All two-minute drills, late-game stuff, passing downs.
They work JCM in a little bit.
Rodriguez is as good of a bet for a touchdown.
Then that's where I'm going.
Like with Mason, I mean, the Minnesota Vikings might just,
their offense in general might be so horrifically bad that you can't get going.
Like Mason's value is as a runner.
It's not as, you hope.
That's both of them.
If he's the only guy, he'll catch a couple targets,
but probably nothing special from him.
And then the other side of that is if I don't,
I mean, I'm a non-guidewithstanding, of course.
I like Rodriguez for this one week,
but long-term, I would go with Singletary.
Yeah, Devin Singletary is worth of a huge conversation with this injury.
Tracy has been so injury-prone.
Devin Singletary will get the week off,
and then it'll be Washington, then Minnesota,
making the most of his opportunities,
If you don't need it this week, he is high on the list.
I think I have them at three, again, trying to factor in the spot start
versus the immediate need or the long-term need.
Yeah, and then you have the backups that are playable,
which really that's Kyle Menongai is kind of that,
although he is now outworking swift in total opportunity.
So maybe he is the one A, a little hard to determine.
But you've got Tyler Al Jir and Bayshal-Tooten.
And Blake Corum.
Yes, but Blake Horn's been getting more and more involved.
The difference, I think, there is Tyler Algier is their goal line back.
He has used more often than Bejohn.
He's got a touchdown, you know, in two of his last four games.
Tutin, I don't know what's going on there.
He might be a goal line back too.
Yeah, I mean, they use him around the goal line.
They tend to take drives.
But what happened was a couple weeks ago.
carries inside the five, just to give you the context.
Three inside the 10, two inside the five
is last week, Tootin. And a couple
weeks ago, he
out touched ETN. And he looked
like, whoa, was this a hot hand approach?
We're not sure. But then he got injured in that
game. The next game back, it was like
all ETIN. But that was his first game
back from injury. Second game back from injury,
all of a sudden it was like, well, this is getting
back to where it looks like Tutin is
really getting more and more involved.
So he is a name to
look at, because if he ends up overt
taking ETN, which I don't necessarily anticipate.
I don't either, but he is on the field enough.
He's getting enough opportunities where you could throw him in there.
Should an injury happen to ETN, it's one of those flex with benefits and the schedule
the next two weeks, Indianapolis and the Jets.
And I don't want to miss Bam Knight there.
Bam Knight slots in right behind Mason and Rodriguez for me.
He's brutal with the Rams in Houston being the next two matches.
Yeah, 11 for 62 last week.
Also caught a touchdown pass three for 36.
like I don't know when you have a team that is I mean they're moving the football
Jacoby's always got 250 I just feel like having the starter is pretty valuable
but I put him behind Rodriguez and Mason ahead of the quorum Alger tier myself I'm okay
with that any other names you want to mention there we want to talk wide outs I mean
keep your eye on Chuba that he's on by this week he gets the Saints after that
Yeah, he ran well.
Yeah, the thing is Chuba is good.
Chuba is a good player.
Rico Dowdell went nuclear, and you had to keep him on the field.
Now that that seemingly has worn off that little couple game stretch,
it's going to be hot hand.
I don't know for sure in that New Orleans game if it will be a RICO or a Chuba game,
but Chuba is worth picking up.
It's a good mention and a quick update for the Blake Quorum situation,
because Kyran had left hurt, came back,
and then the most recent comments, moments ago from McVeigh,
nothing that we expect to restrict guys from being available this week
regarding both Kyrant and then there was a Devante Adams concern,
and neither guy looks to be limited.
And put your insurance backs on your bench.
For sure, please.
Or your opponents.
Yes, that's true.
If you don't need any.
Wide receiver options this week, help me sort through Tampa Bay
because I feel like I could see a world
where picking up and playing Tampa Bay wide receivers
like Godwin, who I thought was, you know,
he looked involved.
He was three for 78 and he dropped the touchdown.
That was an easy one.
You know, Mike Evans coming back.
Where does that put a book on the start-sit decision list?
Like, it's all good for Baker.
Like, if you need Baker to have a resurgence to close the year,
his opportunity is right in front of him.
Yeah.
But I do worry about consistency and snap counts
from guys coming back.
I mean, Evans had the concussion collarbone combo.
Not recommended.
No.
10 out of 10 doctors.
Do not recommend that.
Not even 9 out of 10.
It's a full 10.
So I personally, I like Godwin much more than picking up Evans.
I do too, especially if you're looking at the timeline of the season.
Mike Evans is eligible to return right now.
His normal timeline that we were looking at when the injury first happened would put him at like a somewhere week 14, which is this week we're going into all the way to week 6.
I don't think that he's going to come back and dominate right off the bat.
So let's say he misses this week and then plays next week,
but then he's getting kind of back in the midst slowly.
Godwin did the same thing.
When he got back, they didn't just say, oh, go out there and play 100% of snaps.
But he is further along.
So if you need someone right now as we're in the playoffs,
I would rather have Godwin than Evans.
The schedule is New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina,
the next three weeks for Tampa Bay wide receivers.
There are exciting names to talk about a wide receiver.
In particular, if you want to hit the button, this would be your time to do it.
Yeah, that does to me what the red light did to you yesterday.
Yeah, I get it.
It tickles your brain.
Isaac to Slaah played on 94% of routes or 94% route participation last week for the Lions.
If Amun Ra misses the Dallas game, goodness gracious.
Yeah, what does that look like?
looks like J-Mo and Tislah having huge
opportunities. Yeah. I was
and we'll get into it later with my
streamer, so I'll spoil it. But
it's insane to look
at the season-long
fantasy points given up to the
quarterback position by the Dallas Cowboys.
They don't take a week
off when it comes to points
above expectation for that other quarterback.
They're fighting the good fight. They don't care who you
are, where you've been.
Max Brasmer, go find yourself the Cowboys
to play. You'll have yourself.
Let's not get a better game. Let's not get out of control.
So, Tislaw is interesting.
Yeah, I mean, that's a one week rental.
As a one week start.
I think it could be multiple weeks.
If it takes...
I just don't like the Rams on the road the next week.
That's fine.
Certainly not to run against them, but that might be even more reason why you think you're
going to have to pass against the Rams.
But Tislaw is a guy they traded up for a third round rookie wide receiver,
big body.
And so far he has flashed so many times from training camp to preseason.
to small opportunities in the season.
And now a big opportunity is here.
I think this could be a multi-week absence for Amin Ra.
I don't expect them to play this week, considering it's a short week.
The matchup is just so delicious.
He is a great pick up and plug in.
If you are struggling and you need to have a big performance,
like the floor for Tesla is zero.
Yes, it is.
This is a volatile pick, but if you want to say who is 100% available on waiver, or 95% available on waivers, that could go out there and get 80 yards and two touchdowns.
It feels like a waiver, Alec Pierce availability.
Exactly.
That's how it feels with this law.
So he is very high for me if you need a start right now.
And a rookie.
I mean, there's always potential here that he is better than even we hope.
Sure.
yeah he he will need to up those total touches but man he's got he's got three touchdowns on six
catches yeah that's his current situation ridiculous uh dontavian wicks last week six for 94 and two
only three percent rostered spot start potential for wicks for sure against chicago jaden reed
we don't know if he'll be back this week he's also on the list but 42 percent rostered tucked away
in a lot of people's IR spots.
Jayden Higgins,
rookie wide receiver for the Houston Texans.
He's been very good over the last, you know,
feels like he's establishing.
Yeah, I mean, and honestly,
I think he has played better than even his box score says.
His box score's been pretty good.
He's getting, you know, 60 yards a game right now,
being very involved, making big plays in big moments.
I don't love the matchup against Kansas City.
But this is a second round wide receiver who is coming on.
It's Arizona and Vegas after that.
Exactly.
You like to slah more, though, as a pickup?
If I've got to play someone this week, I would rather throw Tesla on there.
But if I'm looking like, hey, I need someone for the playoff run, I think I would lean on the Higgins side.
I did laugh at the ping pong situation with the Jets where everyone was chasing Metchie.
And then the weather news comes out and it's not good weather.
And so people run away from Metschi.
But then Adonai Mitchell has 12 targets for eight for 102.
And, you know, I posted his-
Metschie still had eight targets.
Yeah, I posted the Adnoy-Mitchell film.
today 12 targets 8 for 102 and 1 most of the routes were the same thing it's you know out routes
he had the deep play he had another deep opportunity that didn't work out you know mitchell is much
more explosive you're going to get the higher upside situation the ppr play is mechie both of them
they play miami this week you could probably do worse you probably get some production and then
did you buy into devon valet's performance 8 for 93 and 1 it felt kind of out of nowhere
Johnson ended up not doing anything
No well I've got to
You had a really high target share
It just didn't turn into what we needed from
From Joanson
Velae I want the reception share
Yeah I know I know
That's the one I want
The Valle thing seems out of nowhere
But do remember the long term story
Of the Saints shocked everyone
When they traded what I think a four and a seven
If I'm remembering it right
To like two picks outright
To go get Devon Veil from the Broncos
It felt super random
very strange where does he fit in on this team they trade away shaheed about a month ago or so
so it's not completely out of nowhere and and valet for his credit on the broncos his
rookie year he had he had a couple flash moments we're like okay maybe maybe he belongs in the league
so i think valet and a full ppr is yeah no it's not completely out of nowhere and
coming out of the buy which was i i think you know that was now shucks second game he had seven
targets eight targets this last week. So this could, I mean, they need him. Yeah. It can't be
Chris Oliva and no one. So Velae is certainly a worthy PPR pickup. And Chuck's playing all right.
Yeah. I am still shocked that Kishon Booty is only 49% roster. He scored again last night. He's
always a threat to score. He's one of the favorite targets of the league MVP potentially.
I don't, I think he belongs on rosters unquestionably. Yeah, he's just tough of he's going on by. So it's
the do you need something right now or do you need
he's a good stash for later if you're
pretty set I think booty would be
would rank very high for me if you throw out his
the game he got injured in right
and then he missed two games
he
wide receiver 42011 then 72
and then 22 last night it's been
pretty good yep and then
speaking of rookies coming out of a by week
Pat Bryant of the Denver Broncos
yeah he's he's in the same
Higgins to Slaw, pay attention to the rookie in the back hat.
Where it was, there was a noticeable jump.
He had been trending in a positive direction while Troy Franklin off of the extremely hot start.
He had been fading.
You go, so I mean, before the buy week, six targets, five for 82 against the Chiefs, goes to the biweek, has by far his highest snap share.
He ran around on 77% of the dropbacks.
He looks like he's turning into the wide receiver two for this team.
Now, that's not necessarily, like, the greatest thing because Bo Nix in the office is so all over the place.
But he is a, he looks like an ascending player that might help a spot starter in the playoffs.
It feels like Sean Payton, if you brought that up to him, he would like bench him just to, just to stick it to you.
Probably.
Drop candidates. People want to know, would you drop these players to get a defense for a playoff matchup or these, or drop them for an insurance running back?
Xavier Worthy.
Yes.
I would drop Xavier Worthy.
Mahomes is playing well, but even in this last week when he had eight targets,
which was more than he's had in forever, he still was irrelevant.
We talked a lot about...
Worthy was at six.
He was at eight against the goals.
Oh, the week before.
Yeah.
We talk a lot about landmines.
There are players with big names that you could drop to waivers.
Somebody might pick them up and play them.
Because if you saw Worthy on the waivers, you'd be like, ooh.
Same with Pearsall.
Yeah, for sure.
I feel like Pearsall is a player you should drop.
I...
Yeah, I think so.
The defense and the insurance backs are more valuable.
And it seems like Jennings is the one.
He's established himself.
I've got two tough names to finish this out, drop candidates, brought up by the
Footland, D.K. Metcalf.
No.
I wouldn't.
I, my feelings on D.K. Metcalf are documented.
I wouldn't drop him because he is a player that could have a big game on just any
given week.
And then Brian Thomas Jr.
Definitely not.
No idea what to do there.
I mean, with Jacobi Myers there, with Britton's Strangeback,
I'm not saying that Brian Thomas Jr.
Somebody I would have the guts to drop,
but I could see a world where he has pure landmine.
That could happen.
That's pretty much been the entire year.
Yeah, he's had a lot of bad games.
I certainly would not drop him.
I think he's a fantastic play this week.
If you look at him last week,
the Jacobi Myers touchdown this past week,
the deep shot that was awesome.
I don't know if you guys have seen that play.
watch Brian Thomas on that play.
I mean, that dude is the reason that touchdown happened.
He ran down that field and blocked like a madman and opened things up for him.
He looks healthy.
He's on the field.
And again, that game against Jacksonville, it got, the Jacksonville's game this last week,
got out of hand so quick that all the offense did basically nothing for the second half.
So I discount that first game back for Brian Thomas Jr.
I think he's a good, he's got a good matchup this week.
I would play him.
My biggest worry with him is that they have learned how to win without him quite
capably.
They have learned a different way to play.
They got two good running backs, the tight end, Myers.
Now, Parker, Washington, going out, frees up some targets, so you could be right.
Let's take a break and talk tight ends, defenses, quarterbacks.
Well, there is a...
chance that there are kind of two really big names at the tight-in position under 50% roster
that might just be this year's David Najoku, this year's Chigakonkwo, this year's
sudden surprise tight-in that wins you a title. And it happens year after year after year.
We're talking about Darren Waller, who is back.
And it was just a two-for-47 day, but got an end-zone target and did lead the team in receiving.
And the schedule, Jets, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Cincinnati for the, what is that, second week of the playoffs.
Britain's Strange, 47% rostered, been heavily involved.
I almost said Evol.
Yeah, he's also heavily evolved.
He's a Pokemon.
Are we at two or three?
Stage three?
Yeah.
Yeah, for playoffs.
Waller and Strange.
Who do you like more?
I like Waller. I think that he is, you know, when we saw him earlier this season, he was really involved, four touchdowns in three games, and then he got injured.
He was the tight end two, the tight end six in his first two games as they ramped him up. I think they're going to ramp him up more. And I brought this up yesterday, the playoff schedule for him is the best. For weeks 15, 16, 17, he has the best matchups for tight in.
you look at Tua, Tua looks his way around the end zone. He did again this last week. They didn't
connect on the touchdown. But he's shown enough where I want to take the shot at, you know,
Britain's Strange involved, but just like you were talking about with Brian Thomas, they've got a lot of
different ways to go. It feels like with Darren Waller, they really need Darren Waller to step up.
It's like Waddle, A. Chan, and then they need Waller.
I think Fannin might be an interesting ad.
I think, you know, we talked about three wide receiver rookies.
I think Harold Fannan, you saw the big play with Shadoor Sanders this past week.
Tennessee, this upcoming week, then Chicago and Buffalo.
I think Fannin might be interesting.
Colston Loveland is also there in the mix.
His schedule is kind of stinky doo-doo, but he is, he's a good player.
Those are the only four names I care about at Titan.
Yeah, I agree.
to me has very, very much impressed me. His rookie season, you know, now that he's gotten
healthy, he has impressed me on a per play basis. I don't think I can really rely on him at all
to actually go out there and have enough total yards. Right. And touchdown opportunities with
the way that the bears are spreading the ball around, the matchups coming up. I am excited for
his future. Just saying this next year thing. Yeah. But I am not, you know, I would take everyone
else we named over him even fanning yeah okay if you had a flex spot and you had to play like a
dunezay or lovelin what would you do oh man gross i'd play a dunezay and i'd hate myself all right
defensive opportunities here player teams to pick up you know weeks 14 through 17 they all matter right
now they all matter right now i think there's a lot of screaming in the more house last there was there was some
vocal warm-ups needed that did not happen.
Yeah, I mean, this is...
Did you eat a bonfire?
I got a little charcoal in there.
This is the time of year where you need to be 100%, I would much rather roster a defense.
I know I'm going to play two weeks from now in the playoffs that is going to be in my starting
lineup than even some of these insurance running backs.
Like I know I have to score points two weeks from now.
If I don't have, look at your defense on your roster and say, look at their schedule, can I start them or do I need to pick someone else up?
So we need to look at a couple of weeks here.
I mean, my favorite pick up by far when you look at relative to availability, right?
You've got big teams like the Broncos and Browns that are number one and two on my defensive rankings this week that play amazing teams.
And they're just in any competitive league, they're pretty much not going to be there.
but I said this three weeks ago, two weeks ago
Tampa Bay is my favorite one to pick up.
Tampa Bay plays New Orleans, Atlanta, Carolina, Miami.
Those are four really plus matchups.
They're the only team that I can see
with four plus matchups in a row.
I love Tampa Bay.
I think Miami is interesting
because you're playing New York.
They're playing hard still.
And then Pittsburgh has a quarterback conundrum situation going on.
Those two are sub-30% roster.
Yeah. I agree completely. If the Bucks are out there, they would probably be my number one pickup.
Would you take the Bucks or the Saints?
So the Saints, to me, are...
Who we brought up last week?
Yeah, I mean, I really like the Saints. I think that the Saints' defense and their schedule is...
I guess I would go to the Saints there, because I'm looking at the playoffs specifically.
Carolina, New York, Tennessee. The Carolina matchup scares me a little bit because they just,
every once in a while
I get it
but they go crazy
Carolina's in that
in that Tampa Bay lineup as well
yep no no no
it's been a plus matchup most of the time
the Saints
they've been pretty good even of late
yeah they really have it
fantasy points wise I have them as
12 11 and 6 against
Carolina Atlanta and Miami
and the schedule's good so they're definitely on that list
and your opponent probably sees them
and it's like cool I'm glad you're doing that
and it might really work in your advantage
Watching them this past week against my – I mean, you said Waller led the team.
Yeah, with 47 yards.
The Saints' defense is – especially at home.
They get – like, the shadow kind of comes over the team because the offense isn't the strongest.
But Tyler Shuck is playing – he's playing okay.
Let me –
But you would need – you need Chuck to play at least okay for the Saints defense.
Because if an offense goes so bad,
Even an elite defense can't overcome it.
There is no need to lock in on one defense for these weeks, though.
So if you look at week 15, Carolina plays New Orleans, Chicago plays Cleveland, Dallas
plays the Minnesota offense.
Yeah.
Dallas is a great target.
Yeah, they're available in every league because their defense has been so bad on the course
of the year, but they play Minnesota.
Yeah, you're going to face nine or Brosmer.
Oh, which Washington plays Minnesota this week.
Yeah, absolutely.
They are widely available.
Then in week 16, targets the chiefs, only 28% roster.
They play Tennessee.
That is going to be an unbelievable opportunity for them.
Buffalo play Shadour and the Browns.
The Falcons play the Cardinals who are turnover prone.
And the Jets face New Orleans.
So both sides of that matchup might work out.
Giants play Minnesota that week.
So these are week 16 highlights.
You can save this whole part of the show and reference it again.
And then in week 17,
championship week.
You know, we mentioned
the Giants, the Saints
have good matchups
against the Raiders and the Titans.
And then, yeah,
I think those are the main ones.
Tampa Bay, you know,
has Miami that week.
That one's on the road.
And we'll get into it
as the playoffs progress as well.
So let's get into streaming quarterback options.
Full stream ahead.
It is really.
rare to get to this segment, and I was the last person to put a name in and not have
this one taken. But to me, Jared Goff is the
unbelievable stream of the week. It really
can't go wrong for Jared Goff. He's at home
facing Dallas.
The last two weeks,
Dallas gave an extra nine points above expectation, an extra
six above expectation. Like I said, no games this year, zero, in which they
did not give up more than the expected points
for the quarterback. It's the highest
overrunner of the week. Fifty-three and a
half. You know Dallas is going to score a bunch
of points. Games at Ford Field
are averaging 53 combined
points. This is amazing. Derek Gop is the
easiest stream I've had to pick all year.
Do
because none of us officially have...
Oh, is that Duval?
And then he said Duval.
I see. I see what you
did there. The
ultimate streamer, who's not
an official pick from us this week. Ultimate streamer.
Jacoby Verset
plays the Rams.
Are we...
I'm still fine.
I'm fine with that.
Mostly because Bryce Young went crazy again some last week.
Jacobi is still...
I was so confident last week.
I'm like, this is the week.
The roster percentage is going to change.
He's going to be...
He's still not roster?
53% on sleeper.
Well, this matchup's not going to help.
I'm going to write his line.
Okay.
46 pass attempts.
Wow.
Nice.
296 yards passing.
Okay.
Three fumbles.
No, not three.
I'll give you two fumbles in this game.
Both lost?
One lost, one recovered, and one pick.
How many touchdowns?
Two.
Yeah.
That feels right.
$2.96 or two.
I'm still fine with it.
We're giving you some options here, but don't forget about Jacoby.
He's out there.
I don't mind.
Jason's picture either. Jason's, I think, is of a guy who, what's his percentage? Trevor Lawrence, he's available out there in some. Yeah, he's sub 50. Yeah, he's available out there in half of leagues. He's quietly been a top 12 quarterback in four of the last five weeks. He's looking better and better. The Jaguars are looking better and better. I found it a little insulting on the broadcast last night when they were talking about the who's playing for the number one seed. And it was,
They listed the Colts.
I was like, wait, they're not even number one in their division.
I have to cut you off for just two seconds.
No.
All right.
All right.
Okay, I'll allow it.
I just, since Jacoby became the starter, he's on pace.
Oh, Jacoby percent?
Yeah, for 731 past attempts, 5,313 yards.
Yeah.
32 touchdown.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And a nice 300 rushing year.
And somehow his EPA is terrible.
I don't really understand that, but.
Sorry, sorry.
You were talking Trevor Lawrence.
So Trevor Lawrence, they are playing good football.
They're going on the road to Indy.
This is a monstrous game where both teams are going to have to show up.
Games 48 and a half point over under.
That's the third highest of the week.
And the Colts pass defense is beatable.
28th in passing yards allowed, 27th in pressure rate.
And you got Sauce Gardner is not going to be there.
You know, they saw a need to add an elite corner.
They did.
And they have lost him.
for this week.
Yeah.
Which is part of why I like Brian Thomas Jr.
This week.
And hopefully, we're giving you advice.
Hopefully you don't have to roll with this one.
You can shake your head.
No, no, no, no.
That's not like to demean.
I'm shaking my head because last week on this show,
Jason brought up maybe playing to Rod Taylor,
and you and I shamed him.
I did not.
I did not shame him.
I believe you did.
I think I can find the receipt.
Okay.
Look for him.
Let me know.
But nevertheless, we,
we sort of, but maybe it wasn't you. Maybe it was Kyle persuading him to go with someone else.
It was more like, that's a tough thing to say out loud. Go on. Talk about Tyler Shuck. It's on the road against Tampa Bay. You guys are talking up to the Tampa Bay DST. I'm a little more hesitant about them as they are 29th and passing yards per game allowed. They're dead last and scheduled just at points to quarterback since week nine. Tyler Shuck is averaging four rushing attempts per game. We like that for a nice little baseline.
it's been 50-50. He's been red-light green light, and this would be the red light week
if you buy into that type of ridiculous analysis. But 50% of his starts, his true starts,
he's been solid. I mean, 19 points against Carolina, 17.4 against Miami just outside of the top 12
quarterbacks. Like I said, these are not saying, put this guy in over your starter,
but maybe a situation has risen in your league where you're like, crap.
I need a, I'm Brock Purdy, and I have no one else.
Tyler Shuck is on your way for wire.
I, uh, you know, I, I think I've been very impressed with Shuck.
He hasn't been perfect, but he's completing 68% of his passes.
Yeah, Caleb Williams dreams of that.
He's on pace for 4,000 passing yards, and that's through his first four starts.
You know, you look at the first four starts of Bo Nix's career, was way worse than that.
This is a, a rookie who should be getting better as, as the season finishes, and has,
hasn't been bad to start.
Yeah, absolutely.
Okay, drop candidates Lamar Jackson.
Oh, my, no.
Don't do that.
Dude.
Lamar will be okay.
I'll say it again.
I do not envy anyone.
With Lamar?
If you're winning in this week and you have Lamar,
don't ask me.
Because here's the answer.
You're on your own.
I will not be the scapegoat for that decision.
No, that one feels.
I don't know what I would do.
knows. Yeah, I answered somebody's. It's Lamar Jackson. I answered somebody's question a couple
weeks ago, Lamar instead of Jacoby. And then I was held accountable for everything they,
what are you doing, man? I said Lamar. This played Jacoby. Goodness gracious. All right. That'll do
it for today's episode of the show. But we're back tomorrow to get you ready for week 14, backup
options, TNF preview, mailbag, a lot more. We'll catch you then. Goodbye.
