I mean, I don't know what it was. Like, can you call a play like you used to not be able to blitz? Good quarterbacks. It was like what they wanted you to do Kurt Warner. I dare you All all Chicago did all game long was throw screen passes really really quickly to the outside where they had five defenders Well, don't forget the place where where Caleb would hold the ball for 15 seconds. It gets sacked. Towards the end of that game, I kept thinking they're going to have one play, just one play where they block someone. I was like, this is gonna happen. Caleb's gonna have someone blocked.

And it was just every single play the ball is there and so are the defenders. So I look I feel like we are doing a disservice to the show by uttering any more words about that game. Well we know there's people in the championship round that they need to hear. DJ Maher. They was fine enough. We need to channel their rage and them being upset but I I mean, no one was good.

Nobody was good in this game. Charbonne, like Charbonne to the eyeball, like I thought Sharps looked good. I was surprised they didn't keep feeding him the ball more and more and more, but he ends up 15 for 57. He did catch three passes, so, ah, fantasy-wise it's okay, but JSN It was JSN and Keenan Allen man. I mean guys who were

So if you had the bad game, like if you want a glass half full it, and you had Keyin in there, JSA in there, Metcalfe, you are now scanning the weather reports for your opponent's players.

Yeah, and good news, it's bad for them. I am doing that right now. I am looking at Al Borland and I'm saying, Devontae Adams is playing in the rain, Jaden Daniels was playing in the rain, Cortland Sutton is playing in the rain. May they all slip and fall. Ha ha ha ha.

CD lamb wants to play, but the Cowboys are actually doing what is best for the team and for CD lamb, which is protecting himself from himself. He shouldn't be playing

football for the NFL. It just stinks that it's championship week for a lot of people. If I were CD lamb and I knew they were going to shut me down, putting out a quote like people pay to come and see me play, so I'm gonna play. That's exactly what I would have done. Oh, so you look like the best. Yeah. Everybody loves me. This guy's fighting through the pain

that all the teams should, it's the team, guys. Oh, man. Next level CD. There's so many fundamental elements to these decisions. I mentioned the fact that, like, the report we have this morning is that it's looking likely the Cardinals will have James Connor on Saturday night. For those wondering yesterday you wanted to put me on the spot. What was I going to do? I needed more Intel.

As of right now, Connor's going to be in over McMillan. But part of the factor there is, well, he had a couple of limited practices, seems to be doing well. The intricacies of the injuries and risk of re-injury is a factor for these teams. Like, C.D. Lamb at any moment with an AC joint sprain, he falls on his shoulder all game long. You are risking a re-injury to a great degree. And for the Cardinals,

they are in the position to play spoiler. They can disrupt the Rams making the playoffs a divisional matchup. And so, you know, there's things that we don't know. We don't know the severity of Connor's reinjury risk, but all that stuff swirls around to these decisions. We'll know more and I'm gonna stay water. That's an expression we use all the time.

I'm not gonna lock in my take here on a Friday morning if I get new information. Yeah, if I get new information tomorrow, it'll be McMillan on Sunday morning. And T Higgins, questionable, limited three times this week. Gus Edwards ruled out. J.K. Dobbins, it's still not a guarantee, but it looks like he'll be back.

I saw some less guaranteed reports. I mean, maybe you guys saw something different. I have not. Obviously, with Edwards not available, you'd think he's there. Yeah, but Gus being out gives me, it should Dobbins be active? Like, Gus Edwards is the only competition to JK Dobbins be active?

Vidal Sessun is not a real threat. No, he's a hair product. Yes, technically he is. So, follow the news, but it's certainly trending like Dobbins

is gonna be a startable player. It's worth saying this show isn't going anywhere just because championship week is over. Like we'll be here for the most painful week of the season, week 18, where all we're doing is talking about guys getting sat down, because there'll be a lot of them. But then we're here beyond.

That's what I'm saying, is Derek Carr, but like if Olave's practicing and Kamara's trying to make a push to play. And Olave might, yeah. That's what I'm saying, is Derek Carr, like are they just gonna have like their whole team back other than Taysom just unexpectedly for no reason?

Possibly, possibly. We got word yesterday that Anthony Richardson's still not practicing, first team reps going to Joe Flacco. Oh boy. I saw a question in Superflex League, Bryce Young or Joe Flacco of Flacco plays. I went with Flacco, that matchup. Yeah, they both have very good matchups.

Flacco was really bad last we saw him. It's a Giants matchup. Yeah, I do lean the Flacco side. Malik, neighbors Tyrone Tracy, both did not practice on Thursday, we're still waiting for updated reports there. Neighbors there was a quote from Neighbors that he basically put himself as a game time decision. Neat. Yeah I think he is very questionable. If you've got Neighbors you need to be

prepared to pivot because I you know as of right now I was looking at him in certain lineups I'm like no I'm not putting him in you need To have a pivot that works with the game time of your player this week because we've got games all over the place. So What time is the the neighbors game? Is that a Sunday? I'll look that up. Yeah Giants 1 p.m Eastern on Sunday, so if you have a bench pivot and they play on Saturday in the three Saturday games, that's not gonna work You're either gonna have to make the call on Saturday and not play it It's worth it's worth mentioning if you're going to not play a player who plays on Saturday if you're not going to play them Depending on your league platforms cut them cut them cut them. Yeah, they won't be available for waivers No one can pick them up. You don't need them next week if this is your championship. Give yourself the roster spot. Yeah. So if you need to add someone,

you don't even have to pick someone else up. Just cut them if you're not going to play them on Saturday. Hundred percent. Very important. And you started saying all of that like a Dr. Seuss poem. Nice. If you're gonna play a player and you play a player player. K-Dot did not practice. Not gonna be back out there. It doesn't look like Jalen Hurts didn't practice. Uh-oh. Well yesterday we covered three Saturday games, Chargers Patriots, Broncos Bengals, Cardinals Rams. On Sunday games we covered Jets, Bills, Raiders, Saints, Colts, Giants and We are we're getting into it Dallas seven and eight Philly twelve and three Philly seven point favorites over under thirty eight and a half. This is a game that Vegas expects Philly to win on defense Which they should be able to do with no CD Lamb and Dallas has a 15.8 point implied point total.

That's the lowest I've seen this year, I think. It's real close. I think there was one that was lower, but yeah, in the 15s is not a normal thing on a weekly basis at all. This makes it really hard to me to have confidence in Rico Dowdell. Yes, it is devastating for Rico.

Rico, I mean, he's got a DK rushing line of 58 and a half yards, which isn't. Under. Yeah, give me the under. I think so as well. You've got a bad week last week, and without CD Lamb against a really good Philly defense. And this is going to be a conservative team,

probably offensively a little bit, because I don't expect to have Jalen Hurts there. Low scoring game. It means that the only, really the only player you're even considering on the Cowboys side is Rico, and if they're not scoring points against a good defense, I don't wanna play him.

I'd actually take the under and the total points. Oh yeah. So you're gonna write off Ferguson? Yeah I think I am. Ferguson would be the biggest beneficiary in this dink and dunk to survive situation. I was gonna ask you if you had to make a desperation pivot to a wide receiver would it be Tolbert, would it be Cooks? It would probably be sadness. It would be Cooks. I would probably be Sadness. It would be Cooks. Yeah, I'd go, I think I'd go Cooks. Yeah, Brandon Cooks if you have to,

but I think there's better pivot options out there. As far as Ferguson, maybe he has an uptick. He had nine targets last week and you'd be like, oh great, but since he's been back from injury, I mean 30 yards, 20 yards, last week on those nine targets, 40 yards, like there's not much there on the other side it's hard to be as confident with AJ Brown and Devontae Smith if it's Kenny Pickett in a game that might be like you said a more

conservative offense utilizing Kenneth Gainwell, Saquon heading towards the record I mean he's 268 rushing yards away just imagine imagine if he puts up another 150 in this game and What you're looking at going into the final week of the season would maybe Not as much on the line and yet that record right there the motivation for Saquon going after that record is like I expect them to Really really really rely on the run game and be opening things up for him this week. So 110 and a half rushing yard line. I think he obviously you're starting Saquon, but I believe you could be really confident in his end of game superiority this week. He should be a top five back.

Moving on to Carolina 4 and 11 against the eight-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are fighting for their lives. The DraftKings Sportsbook line, Tampa minus 8, they're at home. The over-under is 48.5. This is another game where we're going to see some weather. And anything from scattered showers to some wind gusts, I think this is one you're gonna need to track a little bit. My biggest concern here, like I've been pretty pro McMillan in the early part of this week. I still think he's gonna have the opportunity. But I mean, you've got two starts of the week at the running back position right here in the show.

And Mike and I went with Bucky Irving and Rashad White, because the Carolina running defense is, I mean, it should be in quotes, it should be in quotes and this is a game where I think you know that motivation difference, the fact Tampa is fighting for their lives, that the front seven, the opportunity to push guys around that are pushed you know you can easily push them around in Carolina. I think Bucky Irving he's got a rush receiving line of 98 and a half. Nice. And I think those guys are going to be the dominators in this one. I'm becoming more hesitant about Baker having a big game. I think I'll have a good game. Where are you guys at with this matchup and all of the pieces involved?

This is one of the games I'm like really really hopeful that the wind and isn't very bad here. There should be a little bit of rain but I want the pieces in this game. I think Thielin on one side should have to keep up with a very very bad secondary for the Bucks. Vita Vea has made it very difficult to run on them and you can throw on them. So I think Adam Thielen's a great play. Bucky, Rashad White, Mike Evans is so close to his thousand yards. He needs 182 yards. Yeah, so he needs 182 yards. He's going to be force-fed the ball. I really, I really, really like almost everybody. The only concerning play, I mean Bryce young and super flex

I think you could put him in Chuba is a little bit believable last week. Yeah, I mean he was so good But over the last six weeks gonna be harder. You've seen Tampa really shut down the the running game Yeah, I don't want to throw too much cold water on that office Tampa's got an implied point total of 28. So McMillan, Evans, White, Irving, Baker, all in play. And I think the weather is going to be okay. I don't want to overstate it. Did we say that Shepard has not practiced this week?

Sterling Shepard has not practiced this week. So like that just... And Kade on now. Yeah. So I mean, so the like, the Jalen McMillan confidence because of those players being, like it matters. Yeah. So wait, you're telling me that there's a team implied for almost 30 points

who's lost two of his main targets. What are you doing? What are you doing? McMillan, McMillan looks like a good option, huh? I think he is a good option. Even maybe even better than James Connor. I think he is a good option. Maybe even better than James Connor. I think he could be. He could be, they'll be close.

I'm sure it'll go down to the wire. We'll see what happens on Saturday. Oh wait, no, that is Saturday. Connor Saturday, son of a gun. All right, Thielen, 54 and a half. You talked about Chuba, Bryce Young and company. Ligette's not, or he's limited. And a dart throw would be Coker in that game

if you can't run on Tampa. That's your wild dart throw of the week. Tennessee's three and 12, Jacksonville's three and 12, Jacksonville one point home favorites, overrunners 39 and a half. Scattered showers possible, gross, gross, gross. Jacksonville and Tennessee are three and four. Like the winner of this game is the loser of this game.

That is 100% the case. These teams are motivated to lose. And yet. I mean the management, not the players. No, and it's just what makes the NFL so unique. It's why Connor wants to play, it's why Camaro wants to play, it's why Olavi wants to play. Is that there is the brotherhood locker room aspect of the game.

Who wants to be here next year is part of what happens. All of these guys are fighting for paychecks, right? Yes, maybe Kamara and Connor get to come back no matter what, but are you out there for your brothers? Are you out there fighting to get them a paycheck for next season? Those things come into play. So in this game, goodness gracious, Chigga Conquo. You should play him. Jacksonville just gave up 10 plus catches to Brock Bowers last week. 34, or I'm sorry, they're not good against tight ends.

Just to go back for a second, just to illustrate how bad it will be for whoever wins this game. I mean, because these are two, three, and 12 teams. You look at the record, you've got New England three and 12, Jacksonville three and 12, Tennessee three and 12, Cleveland three and 12, Vegas three and 12. You're gonna, you have the chance to go from like the second to the like out of the date night yeah I mean it's it's a

like these teams should be trying to tie or something but but they won't they won't and so who do you think is just like last week we said with the Raiders game similar situation it was which team is worst coached that's who's gonna win Raiders won so is this Jacksonville Jacksonville wins this one well I think maybe Tampa's or Tennessee is soft on defense maybe you know I think I have more trust that Mac Jones is gonna air it out and I think Mason Rudolph's gonna play conservatively. The over-under is low. I think it's a three-point game,

and I don't know who wins. And whoever wins loses. So ETN, his rushing line is 38 and a half. Goodness gracious. Try to do something else. Like Brian Thomas is the player you play. Because he's been unbelievable, double-digit targets. Chig, Brian Thomas. Rid player you play. Opportunity and then Tajay Spears Jason you mentioned it if Pollard misses which for goodness sakes, Tennessee Give us this if you're going to be this bad. Just give us some clarity at running back I'm not because Tony Pollard can have an injured Tony Pollard can run on one of the worst run defenses. Yeah Tony Pollard. I'll play him if he's active. You'll play Tony Pollard. Yeah over Kendre Miller or Gibson or anybody. Yeah if you're that low I think you're right. But for ETN.
