Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts Andy Holloway, Jason Moore
and Mike Wright.
Welcome in Jason.
It's Christmas time yeah see a little Halloween hello
Christmas I saved it for you thank you you're welcome
my trees up no it's not oh yeah it is no it's not oh yes it is. No it's not. Oh yes it is. Andy, it's Halloween over.
Halloween's over.
Then Christmas trees be up.
Are you on that boat?
I broke out all my Christmas vinyls.
Nice.
Which to be fair is one.
Took them all out.
Your Christmas vinyl, which one?
Michael Buble.
It's a nice red colored vinyl.
Put that on in the house,
listening to Christmas tunes.
Of course it's Christmas time.
I told you I tried your little,
Yeah.
I tried your Methodist.
That's fine, Grinch, you stay over there.
No, no, look, I tried it, Grinch wouldn't have tried it.
Oh, he did, actually, he tried it, he loved it.
I don't know if you've seen the film.
That's true.
His heart grew two sizes.
He didn't, I don't think the film was based
on the second that the Halloween decorations come down,
it is Christmas time. Well, we don't think the film was based on the second that the Halloween decorations come down, it is Christmas time.
Well, we don't know when it started.
Yeah.
You ever seen the sequel to The Grinch?
The best part is-
It's Christmas all the time.
I tried it, I didn't care for it.
It made it feel artificial.
It wasn't a natural.
There wasn't a sprinkle in the air.
You know what I mean?
I know what you're saying.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
I don't feel that way.
Look, and most, I know you don't, It's okay. I actually thought Christmas time was just related to the news that
Dennis Allen had been cain. See you later, sucker!
I mean just take the thermometer down. He's not there.
And don't don't rip our wall. What a waste of money.
We
Spike! You gone! See you later! So good.
After they went 2-0, and I'm starting to look at the next week going,
man, if they win, they just got to go 500.
I'm going to have to shave my head.
And that's where they stopped winning.
Yeah, well, he's gone.
He's gone.
And you know what it is?
It's losing to Bryce Young.
Dude, we mentioned it on the show.
Like, the trajectory of the Saints,
if they lose this game to Carolina that's
he's gonna get real hot I didn't know it was immediately to a volcano.
It would be my final straw I mean it is a scapegoat thing to a degree I mean the injuries
have been outrageous for New Orleans including in this game I mean Chris Olavi is one of
the biggest storylines that we're going to talk about today. He's in trouble. He's in like career trouble at this point.
Oh, for sure. I mean, a lot has been made about Tua. His concussion history has been
a little bit more in the public eye. It seems like it's always a prime time game and because
he's a quarterback and it affects the whole team so much more significantly
but there are some significant parallels in the severity and amount of concussions now
even dating back to college that Chris Olave has had to deal with.
We expect IR for Olave.
I don't think he will play football this season.
Oh, I hope that is.
I don't even know what I hope for.
This is one of those things where it's like,
I want to be healthy playing football.
He was in the locker room after the game.
That was the good news.
Yes.
Discharged from the hospital, in the locker room,
wanted to be around for the firing, I guess.
And.
I heard there's gonna be a party here.
But. I mean, the Saints be a party here? But...
I mean, the Saints, look, here's what we know.
They're gonna have a high pick.
They need a quarterback.
My DraftKings team was erased
the moment that that play happened.
Yeah.
Dude, that was such a bummer.
But at the same time, you can look at the situation
for Dennis Allen and say, well, you've lost now your top three
pass catchers.
It just kind of is just spiral.
Ever since we hung the thermometer on the wall,
ever since your remaining hair has been threatened.
Have you thought about a celebration shave?
I have thought about it.
I mean, I did shave the sides, so I'm a...
You're almost there.
It was like an honorary for you, Dennis Allen.
He wanted to show up, but not that much.
Yeah, I don't have that much to show.
So we have a lot to get to.
We've got more news.
We'll give you the latest on Olavi and some of the other big breaking news of the weekend,
including injury reports.
We all know tomorrow's a big day.
Trade deadline.
Oh, yeah.
Trade deadline.
Fantasy football.
Huge day for our country because the NFL trade deadline is here.
Buyers and sellers.
We'll see what happens.
Cardinals get yourself a pass rush.
Divisional leaders, the Cardinals, let's go over to-
Oh yeah, let's check in on the Falcons' health.
How you doing down there?
Came to work.
Congrats guys.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I'm beating the bears handily.
I can hand it to you.
Yeah.
Your voice getting deeper there?
It's a little raspy today.
Yeah.
Okay.
What was going on last night?
Barry White over here.
About six packs?
Yeah.
Goodness gracious.
He smokes in the bathroom.
Alright.
We've got your reactions to the weekend,
and normally I, uh, I have Jason take a look at these
before we hit the button, but I don't think he got to them today.
I have not.
So you guys are riding dirty.
Oh, yes.
Well, we'll start with Jason's main man, Divine A-Chan.
Yes, he is. How about Cedric TD-Man? Oh, baby. Well, we'll start with Jason's main man, Divine A-Chan. Yes, he is.
How about Cedric TD-Man?
Oh, baby.
Hello.
Whoa, Burrow.
And we've got a trifecta here.
Yeah, Burrow, five touchdowns.

Jackpot, Smith and Jigba.

We have the in-season app,
a lot of you got in there this weekend.
If you are a member that supports this podcast
at jointhefoot.com, the app version of the Ultimate Dashboard
and all of the Foot Clan perks available to you.
It's out, yes.
The people love it.
If you're on Android, you're not clapping
because that comes out this week.
So the iOS first class citizens,
they got it like a couple days early
because we got to get it through approvals.
But it is still,
some of you have suffered a bug here, there,
all of that's getting worked on this week.
I'm just really excited.
We saw the reviews come in, people saw the word game changer, right?
You've got the ultimate dashboard in your pocket.
It was awesome to use this week and it really was.
If you haven't used it, definitely download it.
RN Season app is, I mean it was really, really nice, quick, accessible to help set my lineups and do everything.
Those last second spot starts, especially when you're in
more than one league.
If you're in one league, okay, but if you're in three,
or like us, insane, like nine main leagues,
goodness gracious, I need a tool.
So, continued updates coming your way,
shout out to our dev team here who's been working
their butts off. I mean, they don't have butts. Yeah, they're gone our dev team here who's been working their butts off.
I mean, they don't have butts.
Yeah, they're gone.
They have no butts.
They've been worked off.
They are worked straight off.
Sitting is uncomfortable.
But a shout out to them on the hard work.
You ever sat directly on a tailbone?
No, no I have, well.
They have.
Yeah.
You have?
Yeah, I'm pretty skinny.
Oh, okay.
Here we go.
Got acake butt.
["Ready to Roll Theme Song"]
Welcome to Ready to Roll, presented by Nissan.
["Ready to Roll Theme Song"]
I'm gonna be honest, I have been jealous
of the badonkadonk when I get into a place
where I need to sit on a metal bleacher.
Uh-huh, uh-huh, you know what I mean?
Oh yeah, I got to, I bring my pads with me.
Yes sir, I do.
Gotta get on that squat machine, man.
I bring my pads with me.
It was the squats that did it for you?
Oh sure, sure it was.
It's squats for you, it's like burgers for me.
It's standing, no, no, no.
I mean you're really taking away a good thread of jokes from the show
with your good health of recent history, which-
I know. It's really stupid.
Well, you know, not for your long-
Not for living.
Not for your long-term health.
But yeah.
But for the show's long-term health, yeah. I hit the button already. I almost did it
again.
Yeah, you did. We're here. All right, Ready to Roll. We're always taking a look at some analytics on this segment every Monday. Something we're
reflecting on we want to bring to light. We got the Red Zone report inside of the Foot Clan tools,
and so we wanted to dive in, take a look at what teams now at the halfway point are very effective
in the Red Zone thus far. We've got the top six teams. I'm curious your opinion on maybe some actionable
fantasy advice you can take out of this information.
It's trying to find teams that are,
maybe they're running too hot or too cold,
or like Washington.
They're running hot, but it could be better.
Well, I mean, the truth is these are teams that are effective in terms of capitalizing on
touchdowns inside the red zone, inside the 20.
And right now, I mean Baltimore is kind of outrageous.
They're sitting at 74% of the time inside the red zone.
They're scoring a touchdown.
They have 29 red zone touchdowns.
The league average, by the way, is 56%.
So you're sitting nearly 20% higher than the league average.
Buffalo has been very effective in the red zone.
Maybe a common theme there,
you have two quarterbacks that can move with their legs.
Oh, wait, we also have Washington
that's been very effective.
But that's what I wanted to point out here for Washington.
Like Washington, of the teams we're talking about,
they're averaging the most red zone plays per game.
Near, like over 19.
And yet.
But their percentage is below average.
Their red zone touchdown rate is low.
There's only 21 compared to like the Ravens who have 29.
But red zone field goals for Washington.
So that's what I mean of.
They could be a team.
Their offense is fantastic.
Like the turn around of the Washington commanders is.
Bravo.
It will probably end up being the story of the season
once we look back.
But I mean, if you just just a couple of those field goals,
if we turn those into more touchdowns, then this is ludicrous what they're doing.
Yeah, you can look at it either direction. You can say they're either inefficient in
the red zone, but they're getting there so often that that might go away. They might
not stay on the same fiery pace, and then they're not converting touchdowns enough.
Or you can look at it as in they're getting there all the time and they could even get
better.
I think with a rookie there, I mean you look at right now what's happening is they're moving
the ball phenomenally, but they're struggling in the red zone to convert to touchdowns because
they've got a rookie who's not used to the condensed field where the defenders are in
position. So I tend to agree with you, Mike, that it could still get actually better for the commanders.
They have missed Brian Robinson in two and a half games, essentially,
which doesn't help your red zone conversion rate.
Also, the field shrinks and he's been so effective moving it between the 20s.
That is an area where a rookie is going to struggle a little bit.
Are you saying a good running back helps red zone efficiency?
Yes, let's talk about the Lions.
While the Lions are there, I was actually talking about Mr. Derek Henry. That dude is
insane. You know, since 2007, not many teams have been over 72% conversion to touchdown rates
in the red zone.
Let me name them for you.
You've got the Tennessee Titans in 2019, which was Derrick Henry.
You got the 2020 Packers.
You got this year's Baltimore Ravens, Derrick Henry.
Oh, you got the Titans in 2020 with Derrick Henry.
You have the 2020 Steelers, the 2013 Broncos with
Peyton Manning, of course. Then you got the Titans with rookie Derrick Henry. So it's
like, that dude is built different. And I know we talk about the punishing nature of
Derrick Henry and the business decisions and whatnot, but when I was watching this last
game...
Yeah, you were pointing them out frequently.
It was like, I felt for the defense. I felt for them on a human level when I was watching this last game. Yeah, you were pointing them out frequently. It was like, I just, I felt for the defense.
I felt for them on a human level.
I was like.
For their families?
For their, there was a screen pass to Henry
where he's literally a locomotive going down the field
and he gets tripped up.
Yes.
But as the camera is moving, you see like the defender
who was just about to have to deal with them.
There was a DB that was stay like he was standing
He was ready. He was pumping himself up, you know like
We can do and then I'm sure when the guy ahead of him tackle him. He's like, yes
bodies you see that you see that skinny
Skinny DB that truck sticked Henry like last week and just put him on his butt. I think he was it was at Cincinnati. I don't remember. I remember the play. It didn't make any sense when you looked at the two of them.
Came from the side. Yeah it came from the side. And just like knocked him over. So those are your effective teams.
You've also got Tampa Bay's been very effective. I mentioned the Lions and the
the Bengals are worth mentioning because they're throwing the ball so much.
Joe Burrow leads the NFL in pass attempts inside the 20 without Joe Mixon,
who has kind of turned off the passing faucet in Houston.
Joe Burrow, it's his responsibility.
Five touchdowns could have been six this weekend.
And so you look at Joe Burrow and say, hey, maybe this is,
that's a more predictive one to me.
That's not a regression one.
You don't have the personnel.
Chase Brown is good between the 20s,
but you don't have the personnel
to Derek Henry the ball into the end zone in Cincinnati.
So I think they're gonna continue to throw in the red zone.
Here are the bottom six.
You tell me whether you believe any of these teams improves
and whether that's prescriptive for fantasy
and picking up players on those rosters.
Bottom six, the Giants.
Nope.
Pfft.
The Cowboys have 11 red zone touchdowns.
That is 10 fewer than the Commanders
and they're scoring on 45% of drives.
They're in trouble.
If you read Zack's or Dak Prescott's lips on the sideline,
you can tell what everyone knows.
He's not happy with the state of the Cowboys.
He included himself.
Yeah, it was a we.
It was a we.
He basically said, we suck.
He said, we suck.
On the sidelines caught.
A little more emphatic.
Yeah, some words can't say here.
The Cowboys, CD Lamb got banged up.
Gee whiz, we suck.
That's what it was.
CD Lamb, they kept putting him back in.
I mean, him putting himself back in, I'm sure.
But at what cost?
And then Dak left the game with a hamstring and a hand injury
that we don't yet have a status update.
But they could be in big trouble.
Yeah, the Cowboys, I don't think that's a positive regression.
The Steelers, the Steelers are not very effective
at getting there.
But I don't think that's what I'm aiming for.
The Packers, yes.
The Packers, I think we have seen a multitude of things
impact this number.
Injury to their quarterback twice this year.
Rainy game yesterday.
47%, I don't think, is going to hold personally.
And do you guys agree?
No, I agree.
Honestly, when it comes to four through six of the bottom,
Green Bay,
the San Francisco 49ers, and the Miami Dolphins, those are injury teams that you expect to
get better. Tua being gone, Christian McCaffrey being gone, and Love being gone. I think all
three you would expect to have brighter days ahead from a touchdown scoring perspective.
Do we get it? Is it really Christmas this week? Is Christmas McCaffrey coming back for
us? I think Christmas McCaffrey is back. The question is just when you open the package,
is it something you want or is it another injury? Any trees up over there in Deer's
Alley? Not yet for me. No, okay. My family pushed really hard to put it up this weekend Oh, so you you put the and I said smack down on oh team Josh
Falken? Andy? No tree till December. All right, Barry
It's not that it's not fun. It's just that what makes it fun
This is such a waste of my breath. What makes it fun is everybody else is doing it
That's what makes it a fun tradition
is you've got Christmas everywhere,
not just at Lowe's.
You know what I mean?
Right, I know what you mean.
Like I know you, you buy into big marketing.
So the second you walk into Lowe's,
you see the trees up, you're like,
I gotta do what Lowe's says.
You think I go into home improvement stores?
That's not right.
Man stores?
All right, hey, that was ready to roll.

That Saints have fired abysmal maligned head coach, Dennis Allen.
Congratulations to all of my friends who are Saints fans.
Your future should be brighter.
You're gonna have a top quarterback next year
and you are a good franchise.
Like if I was a head coach on the open market
and I'm looking at franchises I'm gonna gonna I'm gonna go to that is a very
functionally well-run
Organization for for a long period of time. So I think there's bright days ahead just not this season. Yeah
I mean the cap situations a problem a cap's a problem and the
Mean the functionality of the of the team making the decision to keep this head coach is
Protect perhaps in question. I think that the I mean this was my argument on the bold prediction show of the fact that
Dennis Allen was gifted this position by Sean Payton. It was kind of I
Don't think this was the organization really
Saying that this is the best route.
It was just kind of like the guy who led us fooled us, if you will.
Yeah, it's very odd that like it felt like a pretty unanimous thing that like outsiders,
you know, football fans are like, this guy shouldn't be the coach.
You know, it's having be a defensive coordinator somewhere. That's fine.
But he should not be the head coach. All of us seem to know this.
And even it's just so strange to me that these, these,
these coaches get in these positions and we all know it's a,
it's a bad idea and it's going to fail and it's going to set you back.
So I think the Saints are a couple years away.
Keon Coleman will have Tess Dunn on his wrist today,
we need to stay tuned for that.
Dropped a touchdown that turned into an interception
in that game, they ended up winning it anyway.
The Raiders fired Luke Gutsy, their offensive coordinator,
they fired their quarterback's coach,
and their offensive line coach,
as the team takes the next step towards
firing their head coach.
That is true.
I think Pierce's, it's not long.
And they don't have the personnel either.
Drake London, left early with a hit pointer
in an oblique straight.
The early stuff that I saw on this was optimistic
so hopefully it's not a big deal
but I don't think we have a ton
of details yet. We talked about Olave he's in the concussion protocol fifth
documented concussion since college fourth in the NFL and second because he
had one in week six which was not long ago. Darius Slayton in concussion
protocol AJ Brown left early with a knee injury but as of this morning Jordan
Schultz reporting it's avoided he's avoided a serious one.
That would be excellent news, because that looked like a multi-week.
Dak Prescott left early with a hand and ham injury.
Hand strain.
Also they weren't competitive.
And C.D.
Lamb sprained his AC joint.
He'll have an MRI on Monday.
I put almost nothing into Jerry Jones saying he'll be fine.
Yeah, he said he'll be fine
because he went back out there for a bit.
That doesn't mean anything.
Long term, yeah, he will be fine.
I do think he'll play through it
if it's not showing up on the MRI as anything catastrophic,
but that could be something that knocks you out.
Basically that AC joint, if you land on it in the game,
you could be in trouble.
And we've seen this with Tyree Kale before.
The whole game.
I mean, Mike, you pointed this out super early in the game,
was like, oh, CD's hurting.
And then he's playing, and he's hurt.
And you kept screaming to the TV, like, why are you
leaving him in there?
Don't do this to CD.
He's going to die. And then they ended up constantly throwing him the TV, like, why are you leaving him in there? Like, don't do this to Sidi. He's going to die.
And then they ended up constantly throwing him the ball,
because he's Sidi Lamb.
And then he got injured.
And then he got a real big one trying to catch a touchdown.
Yeah, and landed right on it.
Couldn't come back.
No, he did come back for a two-point conversion.
Oh, fair.
He did.
That was the crazy thing.
Eric Hall Jr., rookie tight end for the Bengals, unfortunately.
Yeah.
Tore his ACL.
I missed that.
Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, not that I want to diminish the injury in any way,
shape, and form, but obviously his performance,
his involvement, he had a bunch of weeks with four catches.
His absence is going to mean that the Gussicky week that
happened could be stickier.
Because sticky Gussicky? Sticky gussicky?
Sticky gussicky.
Whoa, I mean honestly you look at those hands reaching out.
Mike looked at me.
Because it was right there man.
He knew, he knew.
You dropped it.
No I did.
Did you drop this?
Sticky gussicky baby.
All right.
I think it's true.
Welcome to the nick names.
It also works with his hands.
It does because he's got great hands.
He's got sticky hands.
They don't call him Sticky Kisicki for no reason, Andy.
Yeah, I mean, this is going back to high school.
Caleb Williams tweaked his ankle.
Probably going to be OK.

We'll take a break.
We'll get into the studs. I know for a fact that as we come out of that break that Jason's been typing furiously on
his keyboard.
What's going on?
And I think, I think what he's doing is he's adding Sticky Gussicky to the nickname.
Oh, it's added.
Dashboard.
Yeah.
I knew it.
Like our website shows the nicknames and he wasn't gonna let that one fly by.
Sticky gosicky, that's just what people call him.
Just Mike's eyes when he knew so quickly.
But he-
It's what I'm here for.
It might be a thing.
We'll see.
Jermaine Burton.
Oh my goodness gracious.
Jermaine Burton was supposed to have a game plan
built around him.
No T. Higgins.
Shows up in pajama pants, skips his Saturday walkthrough,
doesn't play in the game.
Yeah, if you did not hear the drama that unfolded rapidly,
T. Higgins was going to be out.
We were discussing, like, what do the Bengals do here at wide receiver?
T. Higgins is so necessary here.
Like, I was casting some shade on just, I don't think Yoshivost is that guy for them.
Could it be Jermaine Burton?
Apparently, the Bengals were doing something of like, okay, let's get the rookie involved.
Sorry, rewind just a little bit. Jermaine Burton, electric football player.
He fell in the draft specifically because
of character concerns.
Like we're not sure that this guy has the-
The drive, the commitment.
The mental makeup to make it in the NFL,
which is just like an-
It happens.
Unbelievably grueling business for you to be in.
This opportunity shows up for him.
Apparently they had a huge game plan
where Burton is gonna be involved,
he's gonna be featured, he skips the walkthrough.
No show, no call.
On Saturday doesn't call in,
reportedly doesn't call in,
shows up to the game in pajama pants,
and then he's a healthy scratch,
and it was so frustrating for that to be right there for him.
And I mean, someone's gotta...
This is...
We gotta get a mentor for this kid.
It's all there, but on the path, he will wash out of the league so fast.
This is also a team in a situation that is not gonna wait for him.
Right. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. This is also a team in a situation that is not gonna wait for him there right
They need to win they need to win now, and they're not just here to baby
This draft pick to hopefully get more out of them I mean they want more out of him, but they are you know it's just like having him be a healthy scratch
It's like we don't have time for we don't have time for yes
Yeah, they got a win dealt with it. They could have said okay, whatever. We don't have time for this. We've gotta go win games. They could have dealt with it. They could have said, okay, whatever, we don't care.
You're right.
And this week specifically could be the difference
between them taking a first day wide receiver.
I mean, T. Higgins is moving on.
And Jermaine Burton could have been the guy.
So disappointing.
Yeah.
Let's get into the studs.
This week's fantasy stud muffins.
None of the guys I played.
None of the guys I played.
I'll tell you that, Jason and I and.
What's the opposite of a barn burner?
A fart fest.
Is that what it is?
That's what we like to call it.
I don't know.
The opposite of a barn is what?
The opposite of a barn?
It's a well.
Oh, yeah.
No, that's good. You raise a barn and It's a well. Oh, yeah. No, that's good, because you raise a barn and you dig a well.
Is it the structure that you need the opposite, or is it a?
And a well's water and a barn burner, and it's on fire.
Oh, so we had a well water.
I was going to go like a barn builder, as opposed to the burner.
Oh, because the burner burns it down?
Is the opposite needed to be the building or the action
that's happening to the structure?
Whatever it is, we're not gonna score
a hundred points, either of our teams.
If it was BarnBurner and BarnBuilder though,
then the good one should be the builder.
Then we would've had the BarnBurner.
I don't know that you've ever seen a barn burn down.
That's a good time.
Yes.
Anyways, yeah, collectively-
You ever built a barn?
Not fun.
Not a good time.
I've never participated in either of those, Mike.
I've never seen a barn.
Andy and I's team in League of Record,
we faced off against each other.
I made- Did we?
Is that what we did?
Trades to leverage my future, to have big strong assets
like Jonathan Taylor, who did nothing.
We covered your trade when you were out of office,
allegedly at a school event making trades.
But you always gotta be working.
But yeah, I mean, Andy, your entire roster scored one touchdown.
Yeah.
And that includes my quarterback.
Yeah, my entire roster, including my quarterback, scored one touchdown.
That's the worst.
The worst.
Yeah, I mean, this is studs, so let's focus on the good players.
Jalen Hurst, Joe Burrow, Daniel Jones, Lamar Jackson, Geno Smith, your top performance
at quarterback.
Geno Smith.
Burrow was the start of the week.
You'll notice the absence of any Colts quarterbacks here.
That game went south last night.
But Hurst has been on fire.
I think he has 12
touchdowns, no interceptions in the last three games.
Very good. I don't know how great he will be if he has to miss AJ Brown for any
amount of time, but TBD on that entry. Yeah, every time Brown is out the numbers
have been poor, but this has been a great run. Saquon's moving the offense. Joe
Burrow could have had six touchdowns. He had five. They played Baltimore this week.
That's always fun. Oh those games are great. That will be a lot of fun. Joe
Burrow's on pace for 38 passing touchdowns. I look I'm at the point now in
the season where it's like I want to find that guy, that DAC player from last year that's lined up to dominate.
And unfortunately for Burrow, I don't like the playoff schedule.
You got to go on the road to Tennessee, then you got to play Cleveland Denver.
No, you need the Phasers if you're looking for the second half DAC.
Is that Kirk?
That is.
Kirk Cousins has a phenomenal schedule down the stretch, playoff weeks.
Now, needs Drake Lundenbeck, obviously.
Yes, I mean, the weapons are important,
but he's been playing good ball,
and I know he didn't have a lot of fantasy points
a couple weeks ago when they dominated,
but that was because of the rushing touchdowns,
but he has been really good.
I mean, three touchdowns this week,
four touchdowns this week,
four touchdowns last week.
He can get it done down the stretch.
Next Wednesday, and he was on waiver wire
before this week in our league,
next Wednesday we'll do a playoff primer
and get you ready with the best schedules
for every position, so we won't focus on that today.
We'll let another week get under our belt
and then we'll go ahead and dive in.
But big performances, you know, nice to see Josh Allen,
he's a quarterback five on the year,
overcome the digs departure and, you know,
Noel Murray Cooper this week.
Pretty impervious to the personnel at times
and then, you know, Darnold performed well last night
as well, so some good performances at quarterback.
None of them played for Jason or I.
Yeah, Darnold gets the Jaguars next week.
Yeah.
Yeah, he does.
Oh, that's very nice.
Running back leaders this week.
Hello, Saquon.
He was so awesome.
And if you haven't seen, which I don't know how you haven't
seen, because it's everywhere, but he backward hurdled a guy.
It was so cool.
It was incredible. Yeah. I mean, they're going todled the guy. It was so cool. It was incredible.
Yeah.
I mean, they're gonna kill the man.
I feel like he had 75 rushing attempts.
Every play was just give it to Saquon
and watch him be a stud, but he has been a stud.
Barkley, number one on the week.
Jason's My Guy, Devon H-chan, number two on the week.
Eight catches.
Derrick Henry, Alan Camara, who will be worked to death
the rest of the year, and then Chase Brown.
Chase Brown getting it done for the,
he got a receiving touchdown for the Bengals.
He's been really good since he started getting more work.
I mean, you can go back all the way to week four,
you look at his fantasy points scored,
and he's only got one week since week four where he's not double-digit fantasy production and half PPR scoring
so with Moss being injured he had a hundred percent of the
Running back rush attempts, and this is a player. I think you can somewhat rely on although Baltimore this week tough matchup for running max
I do want to go back to my dude Devon a Chan just to make sure people know how
for running mechs. I do want to go back to my dude, Devon A. Chan, just to make sure people know how insane, just to make sure you two know how insane his performances have
been. And the four starts with Tuah. Here's his pace, okay? He is on pace through those
four games for 229 carries and 1,190 rushing yards.
That's very solid.
He is also on pace for 11 hundred and nineteen receptions not targets
119 receptions with over a thousand receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns
He is averaging twenty four point three fantasy points per game and half PPR scoring
It's a it's crazy and full PPR scoring because he's I mean like I said 119 reception pace
That's that's yeah, what you want from your wide receiver ones.
That's what you want from Jaylen Waddle,
and that's why Waddle doesn't exist right now,
is because of the incredible involvement
in the passing game of both.
Devon Aitchand first, and then even the involvement
of Johnny Smith in this year's offense.
Waddle has disappeared.
You're locked into a touchdown with him.
And then you unlocked into negative yards on a,
what are those plays called?
The hook and ladder.
Hook and ladder play.
Yeah, I mean you wanna waddle away from him right now.
This is not, target share wise, Tyree kills number one
with Tua and A Chan is number two, over 20%.
So Jason, you went after him,
you told people to buy low before the two are returned.
We are all just praying to us days upright
the rest of the year.
And A-chan.
I mean, he carries his own itty bitty baby boy risks.
Mike did not get pushed off of Chuba Hubbard
and it paid off, 15 for 72 and two for Chuba Hubbard,
Ramandre two more touchdowns. But that's it. That's it for Chuba Hubbard and it paid off 15 for 72 and two for Chuba Hubbard. Ramandre two more touchdowns.
Oh, but that's it.
That's it for Chuba, everybody.
Oh, we told him because Jonathan Brooks is coming back.
I thought you were saying that's it for Ramandre when he said Ramandre had two touchdowns because
you're not wrong.
That is also true.
Ramandre had two touchdowns, got all the work.
I mean, he's just, he's been, the utilization has been crazy with him.
He's getting all the work, I mean he's just, he's been, the utilization has been crazy with him. He's getting all the work for no yards.
He has four of his games inside the top 10 at the position.
Four of them.
Yeah, over the last two weeks, he has 30.
We can go, I'll give you this.
30 rushing attempts for 64 yards.
Over the last three weeks, he is running for 2.2 a
carry. Yeah but he is their guy and around the red zone and they have nobody else and he did
catch five passes in this game. Rico Dowdle 12 for 75, 5 for 32 and 1 had a
juggling catch that got everybody in the studio all excited? It was very funny.
It seems like, first Dak, Rico was wide open
immediately on the play for whatever reason
Dak did not unload it, scrambled around a little bit,
made the play difficult.
Then the pass was still easy.
Rico drops it and turns it into one of the circus catches.
It's one of the first catches they actually credit him
with three receptions on the play.
The question for Rico, next week is Philadelphia.
That kind of stinks.
But Zeke was a healthy scratch because he
was being disciplined as well.
I think he's not very happy with his role on the team
right now, showing up late to meetings and things.
That's what's being reported.
But as of right now, Rico has two games of 50 or more,
50 or more percent of the snaps for the Cowboys.
And in both of those games, he's an RB1.
I don't know if they're gonna make a move at running back.
No, I don't think so.
It seems stupid for them to buy,
but they've also been doing a lot of stupid stuff this year.
Why did Receiver perform?
Did you want to comment on Doudle?
I think Doudle will be an OK start almost rest of season.
And I've been as out on Doudle as,
I've doudled him the whole season.
But it does appear that he is going to get the
opportunity especially with what happened with Zeke now like you said the
Cowboys have done crazy things all year so they'll bring Zeke back and make him
the starter and no one will be shocked but also Bijon had a great game want to
point this out though on Bijon I saw JJ Zacharyson, he pointed this out, and it's fascinating about the running back
rush attempts on Bijon this year, and how it's gone back and forth week after week.
Have you guys seen this?
No.
So the running back rush attempts, the share of running back rushes that go to Bijon, week
one, 86%.
Week two is down to 61%.
Week three, up to 70%. Week four, down to 61%. Week three, up to 70%.
Week four, down to 47%.
Week five, up to 67%.
Week six, down to 45%.
Week seven, up to 68%.
Week eight, down to 52%.
Week nine, up to 76%.
Yeah, it's all over the place.
I mean, but it's like, it's exactly every,
is this like a game plan where it's like,
to keep him fresh every other week,
they're gonna let him unleash, and then every other week kind of time share it it's just so weird
that it's exactly every other week for this long this is over months.
Algier did get into the end zone again in this one. Yeah yeah he did. Top five
scores at wide receiver JSN with 33 and a half points Zay Flowers, Garrett
Wilson, Demarcus Robinson, Quinton, Johnston, in fact the NFL fantasy account
pointed out the fact that all four first round
wide outs from 2023 scored this week in JSN,
Quinton, Johnston, Zay Flowers, and Addison.
That is the first time they have all scored
a touchdown in the same week.
Flowers had two, JSN had two, Garrett had two,
and Quinton, Johnston, four for 118 and one.
So.
They were all pretty awesome.
Like they all played very well.
I don't even know who I wanna talk the highest of,
but I'm between Quinton Johnston and Zay Flowers.
Zay Flowers is so good.
Unbelievable out there.
He was just, he was making a fool of defenders,
getting open like crazy and doing, you know,
whatever he wanted
going forward, it's tough in that offense because there's just so many different ways
they can score.
What is your thought process on JSN specifically moving forward?
Because they go into the bye week, DK Metcalf has missed time.
They are sitting at the bottom of the division.
There have been rumors about DK Metcalf being traded.
I don't know if that'll happen
I obviously the odds are against that happening, but I do think it's possible there have been rumors
With the Steelers the Broncos who are competitive and some other teams that have more space
Seahawks have to decide whether they are
Like in right now Cardinals at five and four the rest of the teams at four and four
So I guess is Jason a Cardinals at five and four, the rest of the teams at four and four. So is JSA any player you can go get or is this performance take him off the table?
I believe that, well you could definitely go get him because I think people are aware
there was no DK Metcalf in this game and so that's obviously going to elevate his target
market share, his opportunities and if you watch the end the game, this was like a must throw the ball,
the clock is running out, we're down,
back and forth affair with the Rams.
So I think this was situational.
He is obviously very talented.
He's capable of doing this,
but this is not normal or prescriptive of the future,
unless the trade for DK Metcalfe happens.
So if you're out there
and you really believe Metcalfe's gonna be traded,
you've got about a 24 hour window to capitalize on it and get JSN, but you're not gonna have him this week
with the buy.
I personally don't think Metcalf is traded, so I'm not hot and bothered by JSN here.
In fact, I think the player who's maybe the most prescriptive of this four-pack, as gross
as it sounds, might be Quentin Johnston.
Quentin Johnston.
Oh, he's on waiver wires.
That's what I'm saying.
He's available to get.
And he was looking good before the injury,
which we kind of discounted
because you just don't have enough.
Well, you discount it because those first four weeks
or whatever it was, they were so high T.
And it was.
Yeah, it was touchdown only.
It wasn't yardage.
This is a hundred yard game for him.
Like the last month,
the team is opening things up for Justin Herbert. You know it's I like Lad McConkey in this past week. I didn't
realize that Hughes was gonna come out and put up four for 118. First hundred
yard game of his career. So I do I think Quinton Johnston is going to be a very
he'll be the priority add but I think it's worth it of like if if this is
really what this team is,
figuring out that they have a great quarterback
and they should throw the ball more,
then you get him more volume and things will happen.
Well in Dobbins, we didn't talk about it
in the running backs, but he scored twice.
This is a balanced offense that dominated start to finish.
Herbert is so effective, especially in play action.
And Quinton Johnson closing in on the total fantasy points
he scored last year through only six games played.
Devontae Adams big night on Thursday night.
Darnell Mooney continues to dominate and if Drake London misses any time, Mooney is a
must start type of player.
He's the wide receiver 12 on this season.
That's crazy.
I mean he has been an important piece to a very good offense.
Devontae Smith was doing nothing, then he was doing everything.
Yeah.
Four for 87 and a touchdown.
We were late in the game and I was complaining because I've got the Jalen Hurts, Devontae
Smith stack and I'm like, he's one for nine.
He missed practice the whole week for personal reasons and we're like, is he just not a part
of the game?
Okay, there he is.
Well, AJ Brown got knocked out and then and then Devante had that huge touchdown catch
I'm seeing news that head coach Antonio Pierce by the way Raiders head coach has not decided on a new OC or quarterback
Maybe they'll be the same guy. So that's an empty offense. We're gonna
dude
You can't start Desmond Ritter.
That's been proven, that's just science.
I'm not, oh man, they're in a bad situation.
Justin Jefferson, seven for 137.
Cedric Tillman, 11 target, seven, 75 yards in a touchdown
going into the bye week.
Boss touchdown, I mean that touchdown was not called
the touchdown on the field because it seemed impossible
and then you look at the replay and
you're like also very stinky garbage yeah but I mean I just care about the
capabilities of the wide receivers I mean this is a day two draft pick last
year who just vanished from the NFL and now is there are no legit better
quarterbacks for garbage time than James Winston.
That is probably true.
And for the first time in the history of this program, I want to talk positively about Cortland
Sutton.
Ten targets, seven for 122 through a touchdown pass.
That pass funnel that Baltimore's got going on continues. Sutton has had two straight weeks, suddenly 18 and six.
And he also was.
21 targets in that span.
He was also, he's the clear number one for this team.
I know he had a goose a couple weeks back,
but over the course of the season,
I mean he is so dominantly the wide receiver one
for this franchise as Bo Nix gets better and better
And he was just missed on a touchdown. Yeah
This week so he could have had an even bigger game on pace for 130 targets this year
We'll take a break. We'll hit the tight ends and then we'll talk about them stinkers
Top five tight end scores of the week, Sticky Gussicki with 24.5 fantasy points.
And that ends our predictive list.
I mean, it was like Josh Oliver, Taysom Hill, Theo Johnson.
Brock Bauer's got to 13 because he will, just targets.
But Sticky Gussicki was the pick.
Trey McBride had him, he still has no receiving touchdowns,
but he did get another touchdown.
He had a rushing touchdown this week.
Oh, it saved his day, too.
Three for 35 through the year.
Have you tweeted out that play?
You got a tweet?
Well, Ian Hart, I was going to cut it myself,
and Ian Hart had already posted it,
so I'll just retweet it.
Yeah, I mean, it's, we were watching it live, and it mattered because Kyler...
Just shrieking at the TV.
Kyler was Andy's...
I mean, it's a...
...League of Record quarterback, and there's a play where they sell out as a run with only
one player...
On the goal line.
...on the goal line.
They're clearly running the ball, and they leak one player, just one player, to the back
of the end zone
on a play action.
So the play is only designed to go to one guy.
And it was Trey McBride.
Which is what made it so confusing.
And he was, when we say wide open,
I mean you gotta watch his play.
The defense didn't know he existed.
You know how they print the letters in the end zone
of the team name?
Right.
There was the full letters gap plus a little more between him. He could read the whole Cardinals. Yeah, he was on the zone of the team name. Right. There was the full letters gap plus a little more
between him.
He could read the whole Cardinals.
Yeah, he was on the top of the word,
and everyone else was on the bottom of the word.
And Kyler just didn't throw the ball.
It's not partial blindness.
It seemed like he looked right at him.
This year, no player has been screenshotted missing
wide open players more than Kyler Murray.
I don't know if it is.
I don't know if it's that he can't see over the line, like you
know the hole, like oh he's shorty.
Maybe he can't see him.
But even if you couldn't see him.
That's the play you called.
You literally could have done this blindfolded.
You could have closed your eyes, faked the handoff, turned around and throw it to a spot
anywhere over to my right and it would have been a touchdown.
He didn't throw the ball.
But they did make up for it by giving him a rushing touchdown a drive later I mean for so McBride Harrison
Kyler okay all three of them disastrous fantasy yes okay I guess McBride
McBride was three for 35 with a touchdown yeah I mean on not
disastrous but to your expectations for targets. My point is that the Cardinals won 29 to nine.
Their defense gave up no points in the second half.
So it's just weird when, like, I saw the COD,
Kyler criticisms coming out again.
They won 29 to nine, they're leading the NFC West.
It was a fantasy production thing.
It's that the team is,
they're finding the identity of the team,
and it's James Connor.
Well, look, when you're winning like that,
and your defense is playing like that,
I don't think Kyler did a thing wrong
outside of that one play in the game.
Because there's nothing you should have had to do
that was different.
You ran for 150 on the ground.
He only attempted eight passes in the second half. Yeah, because it was just... He didn't have to run. But it should tell
you something about what can happen here. I've lost three times this
year because of Kyler Murray. Mm-hmm. Where I've played him. I didn't play him last
week against Miami. It has a huge game. Yeah, so he's won, he's won a like four weeks here over 20 points for Kyler.
That's, that will really really help your team win but the other times are just... Yeah, you should
just push the button because we're already into it. Pooped in his big boy pants. Kyler Murray. Yeah,
Kyler also got credited with a fumble that was so not his fault.
No, oh my gosh, the running back goes to take the hand off and his hands are closed before
the ball.
You open the monster dude and then you chomp down on the ball.
Go back to Pee-wee.
I was going to say, your son plays football.
Yeah.
Do they tell you to keep your arms closed when they hand the football?
You don't reach for the ball with your hands.
Open the monster.
Just make the target.
The quarterback shoves it right in your tummy.
But Kyler's finished as the quarterback
1, 7, 6, and 10.
Those are his good weeks. Those are great.
But this week he scored
in half point,
4 point scoring.
He scored 4.8 fantasy points.
That might be his all time historical low in a game.
I would imagine it is.
I think it is.
If you take out any game that he got injured,
he really didn't play well, or did not play poorly.
He played pretty well in this game, they didn't need him.
The sucky thing though going forward
is that you can see situations where they're not utilizing the running. They don't need him the the sucky thing though going forward is that you can see situations where they're not
Utilizing the running they don't need to they don't need to and it's not it's not a guarantee that it's gonna happen every game
And that's always been the baseline for fantasy of those
Type of fantasy assets those true dual threat quarterbacks where it's like hey
Even if he doesn't throw a touchdown this game
He you know he might have 50 rushing yards and that's fine.
You just don't see a lot of games.
Kyler Murray had six rushing yards this week.
He has a week earlier this year with 14 rushing yards
and a week earlier with three rushing yards.
That's not a dual threat quarterback.
And Marvin Harrison can't catch a competitive pass.
Well, some weeks.
He caught them all last week.
Jordan Love, also just a terrible performance, 273, no touchdowns, threw a pick.
Yes, it was raining, but he was hurting.
He was hurting.
It's really tough.
I want to throw this in the garbage.
I really do because that wasn't just raining.
That was like a swamp. I mean, it was awful. However, Jared Goff could complete passes.
He threw the ball down the field and hit receivers in stride. He was in-
The yardage was good for love.
He wasn't in a dissimilar game. He was in identical. He was on the same field. So I
think some of it's got to be the injury. some of it's got to be the weather, but
the Packers were, they had the crap beat out of them. Overall game plan, because yeah, Goff threw the ball 22 times for 145 yards. That's 6.6 yards per attempt. That's not challenging
the defense at all. That's just taking little dinks and dunks because Monte and Gibbs were so effective.
So, Love, maybe you can throw it away,
but they go into the bye, you can get healthy,
then they play Chicago, San Francisco.
Love is right on the edge of that,
I definitely want for the rest of the season,
quarterback for me.
I don't know it definitively.
Yeah, I get it.
But he's on the edge of that,
but that's where Kyler lives. But he's on the edge of that, but that's where Kyler lives.
Kyler lives on the edge of that.
There's a lot of quarterbacks right on the edge of like,
do I trade this player or do I just write it out?
It's really tough with love
because they're going into their bye week.
Then they've got Chicago,
which is who Kyler just played,
who is, they're not great against the run.
They are awesome against quarterbacks, wide receivers.
Their pass defense is great.
Then they've got San Francisco,
so it's a tough three week stretch.
If you're gonna go by Jordan Love,
I don't think you're gonna wanna rely on him
to be that dude starting now.
I mean, obviously not starting now on a bye week.
Jonathan Taylor heads up our duds
at the running back position, 13 for 48 on the ground.
Just three for 11 through the air.
Five targets.
Jason, this was not a good start to the,
I hope Jonathan Taylor's the running back one
rest of season.
Yeah, that's kind of like the bet I was trying to make.
I was really hoping to trade for a superstar
that could essentially get five targets in the passer game.
He looked so, he's looked great every time we've seen him on the field this year until I trade
for him. However Minnesota's run defense is elite, very difficult to run against
them and they proved it. Buffalo? I think he'll be better next year. Buffalo, New York,
Detroit, New England. So the next three of the next four weeks are plus
matchups for running backs.
Buffalo, you can run on them.
The Jets, you can run on them.
New England, you can run on them.
Detroit, not so much.
What happens if Flacco keeps losing?
Oh man.
I don't think this one was a very fair fight, so to speak.
I mean, it was tough, tough environment.
Tough to go in there with the Blitz packages
that Brian Flores throws your way in Minnesota
and get it done, but he clearly didn't get it done.
Yeah, it's like a yes and no situation on,
I don't think when you are the age
and the experience that Joe Flacco is
that you're allowed to be like,
ah, they had some tough Blitz packages with a good defense.
That's the point.
That's why we went to Flacco's
so that you can handle those things. And he straight up did not handle those things. He looked
atrocious. He threw a really nasty pick on the sideline. Josh Downs had a dud of a game because
of it. Yeah, he also, he had several times where he just should have uncorked the ball, was hesitant,
and then got sacked. So hugely disappointing.
I don't know why he wasn't in the duds,
but Joe Flacco was a huge dud.
I made the decision last minute in fear of Flacco
and the Blitz packages to throw the illustrious
Kyler Murray into a lineup to score an extra two points.
Oh, so it was the right decision.
Oh yeah, six to four.
Congratulations. Process and results. Oh baby, yeah. Six to four. Congratulations.
Process and results.
Oh, baby.
Yeah, I'm getting it done.
What do you do with the Jags running back here?
Yeah, Etienne and Bigsby.
Philadelphia, I've been saying this for a few weeks.
Their defense is very good.
Go look at it.
Their numbers, when we break it down on the matchup shows
are very, very elite across the board.
So ETN struggled, Tank Bigsby, Stank Bigsby,
ETN caught two passes, they both stink
and they're gonna stink in matchups like this
because this offense is toasted.
So the next two weeks?
Who are the matches? Minnesota and Detroit? Yeah, I don't think I want to...
The rule on ETN, and I heard you
reinforce it on Sunday Live,
it was show me it on the field before
you're going to be in my lineup.
Well, he's not going to be in your lineup,
because he didn't show it on the field.
Also the split, 31%.
Yeah, he had three rushing attempts.
De'Ernest got work.
You can't start a player. Not only did Deurnis get work, Andy,
I don't know if you caught this.
The final attempt here for the huge comeback
that the Jags were mounting.
Most important play of the game.
Was a fade type route to Deurnis Johnson.
A fade route is a tough one to pull off.
But if you got a superstar wide receiver, okay.
Maybe you're running back one.
That's probably not good.
You're running back three?
Let me try this out.
Yeah, like, hey, hey, hey, grandkids, Doug Peterson's grandkids.
I was a head coach once upon a time, and I had a chance to stay being a head coach, but
I lost because I threw a fade to De'Orness Johnson.
Yep.
Nick Chubb, little Chubb, 15 for 39.
Didn't work out.
Jerome Ford returned.
The 15 carries, though, are noticeable.
I watched him, though, and he's just not there yet.
Yeah, I agree.
He's not there yet.
They're going into their bye, but.
Well, he had 16 last week.
Yeah.
He's getting the work, it's just.
He is becoming their lead guy, it's just a matter of whether you believe he's
going to return to form at any point this season or not.
The positive that you can give for Nick Schubb right now is it's a bye week,
get another rehab, try and get a little bit stronger,
and then you are against the New Orleans Saints.
Yeah, but then.
Who everybody's been able to run on there.
Yeah, the Saints are a great matchup.
He should be good there, but the stretch run after that,
Pittsburgh's tough, Denver's tough.
I didn't go into that, I just said the good news.
Pittsburgh's tough, Kansas City's tough.
I mean, Rico Dowdle or Chubb rest of season,
I would take Dowdle.
I would as well.
Chubb's not gonna catch passes, Jerome Ford is healthy,
and the team needs game scripts that are conducive
to what Chubb does best, and I'm worried about him.
Alexander Madison was not a good nine for 36,
lost the goal line carry to Zameer White.
And he was on the back of the Abdullah Express.
They were down. Oh, he still exists.
They were down in this game.
Remember we had posters made for the Abdullah Express?
Yeah, was very excited for him here.
Abdullah didn't work out.
There it is.
There's the Abdullah Express.
Looks just like that little wooden toy train.
Yeah, he was actually very involved as they were down.
So that's a tough thing to see
because you would hope that Alexander Madison
would be more of the pass catching back,
but he was not, it was Abdullah.
Well, Puka at wide receiver, one for 11 and a punch out.
What are you doing Puka?
He's keeping his knee healthy.
It's really dumb, I don't understand why any player
punches a helmet.
Ever, why would you ever punch a guy in the helmet?
It also was a-
It's like getting out of a car in a road rage scenario and punching the truck right like with your fit
Yeah, punch the window. I'll show you you don't hurt the person you hurt your hand
It was also you thought that call was soft out. Yes. It's a weak suspension. It looked like a pretty small
Like it was so close to a shot
It was like a shove to the helmet more than anything. If his hand was open.
With a closed fist?
Yes, but it wasn't.
It was soft.
It wasn't like a wind up.
It wasn't an uppercut, you know?
It wasn't a wind up.
It was like, the guy pushes him, he just kind of, he just kind of barely hits that.
I think it was a little soft.
It was soft, it was weak.
But regardless, you ended up with no puka in the game, not for injury reasons, but for
ejection reasons.
And they won anyways.
They did.
DeMarcus Robinson was great.
Yeah, I mean that's back to back games with double touchdowns, right?
Yep.
But don't play him because that's the only way you can ruin it.
Marvin Harrison, 2 for 34 in a fumble.
Five duds, four good games. Do we need to have the conversation about Marvin Harrison
being more of a, a pivotable play in bad matchups
where you see the game scripts going sideways?
He has to play the Jets and that secondary next week,
then goes into the bye week.
I don't know.
I wouldn't be putting in like spot start waiver fodder over him. No, let me let me read this though
six weeks span
Okay, why does here 26 58 113 161 13 he got hurt that was 14% of snaps
Just saying if you get knocked out at the very beginning of the game
I'm not gonna hold that against it's just that the lows for Harrison are 62, 58, and 74.
I throw that game out.
You've been happy once in six weeks?
Yep.
That's all I'm saying.
Yep.
And right now he feels like one of those players
that people will start until their season is over,
and I'm not sure that there aren't some other names
out there that you might, on a certain week,
want to get into your lineup.
I mean, nobody started JSN over Marvin Harrison this week.
But that was a decision you could've made
against the Rams.
And that's all I'm saying is maybe you should think about.
And I will say that you need to be looking
at the matchups a little bit,
because if you look, you know,
he was good against the Rams when they were beat up.
Detroit is a team that you could throw on, not run on.
He was good.
Washington's defense, you know, they've gotten okay, but they're not a world
beater. When he plays, San Francisco's a great defense. Green Bay's a great defense. The
Chargers have been a good defense. Chicago's a great, I just brought that up, a great pass
defense. Those are the duds, duds, duds. So this week against the Jets and Saas Gardner,
I'm not sure he's ready.
If the Cardinals could hand it off, we know this, if they could hand it off every play
they would. That's the new offense for them. And how do you beat the
Jets? You run the football. So this is not a Marvin Week. I would look for
if you've got other good options. I mean the question is gonna come up. It's gonna
be because of the week, Quinton Johnson or Marvin Harrison. That will come up. Who
does QGE play this week? Unless they're in the bye. They're not in the bye, right?
No, they've already had their bye.
They play Tennessee, the Titans,
who are number one against wide receivers.
So that won't come up.
No.
That won't come up.
Jalen Waddle, two for negative four
and a touchdown, irrelevant.
Jalen Waddle was the number one player
that I saw comments about this weekend across the board.
Yes, I know he got into the end zone. It was a two yard catch. That's not enough. Not involved in
the offense. Do we know what his yardage was? It was a seven yard. Yeah, we got two up,
ass complete, to waddle for 12, and then the touchdown was a seven yarder. Okay.
Then he lost 23 yards on the scramble play. His actual line, which still is bad, is 2 for 19 with a touchdown and he
disappeared for the vast majority of the game because the 23 negative yards. And he got hurt
and came back. Oh he pulled out. Yeah. I can't believe. He did. He waddled. I can't believe this
guy does it every game. It's a joke that is not a joke at all. We're watching and I felt bad on
this one. Yeah.
Because it looked like the way he was.
Well, we thought he got like a broken leg.
Yeah, I thought he broke his leg.
He had to have broken his leg
with how he was acting on the field.
And then it was like two plays later,
he's back out there.
It's like.
That's the least a 10th time this happened.
At least.
At least 10 times.
I mean, that's gotta be significantly low
because he's had to have played 30 or 40 games
in his career.
And at least half he's gone out injured and came back.
It's, I think it's a, I don't wanna,
I'm gonna whisper it, cause I just feel bad about it.
Okay.
I think it's pain tolerance.
Going soft.
I'm, I don't know what to say. I mean, it's hard to play in the NFL. I'm not soft. I'm... God. I don't know what to say.
I mean, it's hard to play in the NFL.
I'm not saying I wouldn't.
Yeah, have you ever been, like, slide kick cleated?
Yes, I have.
When we played flag football, it sucks.
Get up, you play the next play.
Sorry.
Not by a 380 pound monitor.
My experience from flag football.
We've all been there.
From adult Flagstaff.
Well, I don't remember you rolling around grabbing your leg.
That's for sure.
Michael Pittman was not a thing.
1 for 14.
The Colts offense was just.
By low on Brian Thomas Jr., him coming off the injury
playing Philadelphia.
Sure.
Got the pass funnels of Minnesota and Detroit coming up. Yeah. That's one I would look at. I love that.
Keon Coleman should have scored but just won for 21 despite Noah Murray Cooper
and now a wrist injury that's disappointing. DJ Moore, Mike, you said it.
You said you wouldn't mess around with it. It looks bad. Nine targets brother.
I guess they are the Bears wide receivers is the craziest situation of It looks bad. Nine targets, brother.
The Bears wide receivers is the craziest situation of all these plus matchups, good players, and no production.
And sometimes the team scores points,
and I don't know where they go.
Hey, guys, we're back in the doldrums tied in.
Sam Laporte, 2 for 28, Nijoku, 5 for 29, Mark Andrews, 2 for 26,
Hawkinson, 3 for 27, Pitts, 1 Kincaid 4 for 32 commit 0 for 0 and
Zachary it's 1 for 5 that is uh though almost all those players were started
this week yeah I mean that's who you started which is why Trey McBride had a
just a great just Lee good we dominated your competition because it's sticky
baby sticky good sticky I mean literally It's just an outrageously good week. He dominated your competition, because the competition's Sticky Gesicki, baby. Sticky Gesicki.
I mean, literally, Gesicki was, other than Gesicki and McBride,
they were like the only two that were recommended that performed.
I mean, you got Kelsey tonight, and you got Otten tonight.
So that top five should change, because both those guys
very capable of entering the top five with the very low Josh Oliver
bar set.
I would assume that Otten will be in the top five.
I think Kelsey
will too. We whispered about Taysom Hill, especially, I feel like he came up on Sunday live maybe,
but it was with Jamal being out and Kendra Miller being on IR. It was like, oh, Taysom
Hill, this is probably where he scores. All right, tomorrow, waivers, big time waivers show,
and we have the trade deadline tomorrow,
so come and get your mind off of how the weekend went.
And life, and come listen to us talk about fake football.
