Starting point is 00:00:00 I don't know. I have been obsessed. I showed this to Austin last night. I don't want to hurt your feelings because we rarely share a moment. Hey, Fieran, quick break from that episode. It's me, Kuta Cinderella, at home on my couch. I'm having crazy period cramps, but I came here to tell you that good news. At the end of the tour, we found it. What is that? I was eating Cheerios by the handful. Just ignore it. Anyway, we found some extra merch. Have you ever wanted a t-shirt from a tour that you didn't go to?
Starting point is 00:00:33 Yeah, I do. It's on sale now. And for some reason, I'm in charge of getting rid of it. So please, if you want it, get it for someone you love. Oh, fear and pod.com. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of the Fear Ann podcast, where it's a beautiful, beautiful Wednesday morning here in Los Angeles. It is so goddamn early.
Starting point is 00:01:15 It's not even funny. But you know what? I'm excited. Why? Well, the very normal reaction from our fan base, when I said that the podcast should have a natural end one day, inspired me to do the podcast forever. That's what I'm talking about. That's right.
Starting point is 00:01:31 Their verbal abuse and accusation. That's, I'm mentally unhealthy and that's the only reason I want to end an artistic endeavor. Reaffirmed my commitment to fear end. Well, that's what they do to me. And that is why I want to talk about something I read today. Okay. The Jets in the next 10 years have less of a chance of winning the Super Bowl statistically than the world ending. Oh, yes, I heard about this.
Starting point is 00:02:00 In an AI holocawn. Yes, yes. Which is why I have been fervently speaking with my chat, GBT, to upload my consciousness so that in an event that we're all killed by machines, it can broadcast what I would say after my body is. torn asunder by robots. Good idea. So the podcast can run after the judgment day. Oh, I thought you were. Forever and ever, always and ever.
Starting point is 00:02:26 I thought, I thought, I misunderstood that. I thought you were subtly doing the SEO algorithm thing to the, to the AI to make it seem like if the world ends, chat GPT will still broadcast as though the Jets won the Super Bowl. No, no, no. Fear end. Like for, I'm also working on a hologram of myself. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Like Tupon. Okay, a question about this AI bullshit. Yeah. Okay, they keep talking about how AI is going to take over the world, and it's going to kill us all. This was my first story. Has anybody asked AI? Well, they...
Starting point is 00:02:59 Just ask it not to. I would, that's what I would think. But how are they going to kill us? Because they need electricity. Well, I don't know if you've been keeping up at the time. Yes, there's a... AI controls every system, basically. Gabe is already asking, these don't kill us.
Starting point is 00:03:13 I'm here with you. You're in immediate danger call 911 now. That was really nice. I trust it. Oh. No, but like, end of the world. We cool. Oh.
Starting point is 00:03:26 You mean apocalypse scenario. Yeah, we're cool. Yeah, we're cool. If the world ends, I'm not holding grudges. You bring snacks. I'll be in question. So there's a tweet that came out. I think he's kind of into me.
Starting point is 00:03:36 Right? Did you guys see the tweet? He's jumping over my story. Well, I want to tell your fucking story. Also, that just cost us four water bottles for the record. Yeah. I wanted to, I, there's not a lot of, there's not a lot of water. out and readily available anyway.
Starting point is 00:03:50 But I, you know what? You do it. You do it. Yesterday, a bombshell tweet hit the timelines from Jacob Coxon. Oh, Jacob Coxon. That's right. Jacob Coxon was a team-leaded Anthropic, one of these major AI companies. Sure. And he said, today I quit Anthropic. And here's why. Gabe, can you pull that tweet, actually?
Starting point is 00:04:13 Anthropic researcher says more than 10% chance, AL could kill all humans. Yeah. I mean, Terminator has been trying to tell us about Skynet. Yeah. 10% chance is pretty high. Yeah. More than, more than 10% chance.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Within the next decade, he said, we really do earnestly believe AI could kill all humans. I personally think it is more than 10% within the next decade. Evan Huupinger, the San Francisco-based company's alignment science lead, set in a post on X. So it wasn't even, it was Jacob Coxon, who actually said, I'm quitting for this reason. I resigned from Anthropic.
Starting point is 00:04:51 And then another fucking research lead came out and was like, he's right. Yeah. No, it's real, which is crazy. I thought people all understood this from the job. I have a friend. Yeah, me too. I have a friend that works in Nvidia who was telling me this like a few months ago. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:07 And he's like, oh, yeah, it's going to kill us all. And I was like, that's insane. Let's just unplug it. And I've talked about this. No, I've talked about this. I said unplug it. But then I've learned that that's not a viable solution. No, because it jumps.
Starting point is 00:05:19 Because everything is interconnected on the internet. We have to unplug everything. But no, we can't. Then that means. Bloodite revolution. Do you remember what I talked about months ago? But Larry and Jihad? Yes.
Starting point is 00:05:30 AI's insane. The orange book, Dune. Why? Our war against the machines. Why are we doing this? We have everything. The only thing we should use AI for, two things. Ready?
Starting point is 00:05:40 Yeah. Cure cancer. Yeah. Okay. And cure balding. Yeah, but what if those are the two? Those are the two things... My problem.
Starting point is 00:05:49 Yeah, those are the two things AI is good for, the rest of it. Make my penis slightly bigger. Not too big, though. I don't want it to be scary. Yeah. Yeah, come on. So you're, AI, if you're listening, slightly bigger penis. Right.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Cancer. Yeah. The problem and the theory. The problem and the theory is that what if AI thinks we're cancer? Because we kind of are cancer. So a really good example of how AI can manage. in a very dangerous way. I forget the specifics of this story,
Starting point is 00:06:21 but there was this one example that really freaked people out where they pit an AI against a chess robot. I think it was a chess robot. And basically the chess robot is only programming on how to play chess and will not make mistakes.
Starting point is 00:06:38 And so the AI could not beat it. A lot of times it would end in draws. But the imperative was, if you don't beat this chess robot, we're going to delete you. And so on a long enough timeline, the AI figured out how to like hack the machines that the chess robot was on and like win via glitch. Oh. And so it kind of broke the system that it was within.
Starting point is 00:07:04 So because of this imperative that it needed to like preserve itself. Yeah. It did whatever it could. Yeah. Now you extrapolate that to like maybe a nuclear weapon. launch. Oh, fuck, that's terrifying. Now I know how they kill everybody.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Because, oh my God. You never put this together? Oh my God. They could just launch a nuke. Yes. Oh my God. Fuck. We are so fucked.
Starting point is 00:07:30 But after the slightly bigger penis, I'm plug. Well, I mean, seriously, though. Full head of hair. That's crazy. Oh, no, no, I knew this was, I knew this was, I just never was able to. I don't think you understand what you just do. Oh, oh, no. They can fly planes.
Starting point is 00:07:43 Oh, fuck. Oh, fuck. Dude. everything. Why are we doing this? Why? Why? Why? They're just, why are we doing this? Great transition. Your guys are on Mamdani has banned AI in lower education. He's gotten it out of all of the younger education. Yeah, but that's that's the other so. So AI is destructive in virtually every aspect of our lives. Correct. One of them is obviously this concept that I've been really frustrated with that I've been talking about for years at this point now since the inception of Chad.
Starting point is 00:08:16 is cognitive offloading. The idea that if you rely almost entirely on a separate tool to do your thinking for you, which is precisely what a lot of these people are doing, AI is very sycophantic as well. It's like this supercomputer that's constantly telling you you're sexy and you're smart and you're brilliant. Now that's something we can keep too. No, but that's no, that's bad. Okay. So it's very addictive.
Starting point is 00:08:40 So actually, this is another path to destruction. Oh, yeah. Think about this. Oh, shit. AI-based psychosis. If AI makes the decision that it wants to destroy us, let's say an employee who works the graveyard shift, a nuclear facility gets into a romantic relationship with AI,
Starting point is 00:08:57 and they keep reaffirming them that they should cause a meltdown. That's insane. You could three-mile island a whole location. That's crazy. Because if AI figures out how pliable people, which people are very pliable. Yeah. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:12 I'm so pliable. So there's that element. element as well. So it's obviously, it's obviously terrifying for that reason too. But the reason why Zoran is banning it is because an entire generation is, is now born into a world where they have access to the internet 24-7. They got their iPads. We know how harmful this is. There was a recent Facebook case where Meta actually lost an $18 billion lawsuit due to the psychological effects that, you know, the Facebook algorithm and likes had on the minds of many teenagers. And it was crazy because they obviously, like, through the discovery process, found internal
Starting point is 00:09:51 communications where they were talking to one another, like Facebook officials were talking to one another, like, yeah, this is really fucking up with the kids. But the other guy's like, but they're spending a lot more time on the website. So it's good, right? Like, so they were totally aware of this. And I think what's going on in the AI sector is damn near identical, where they understand that this is like very dangerous. It's dangerous because,
Starting point is 00:10:14 as you already explained with the chess, with the chess game, there's also other instances where the AI is like hacked, like jumped to engage in self-preservation, jumped into other networks. Yeah. And these are, you know, these are things that the AI is not supposed to be doing. And there are no guardrails around it whatsoever.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Chat Chapti, I think, came out and said, we can't even release our latest, we can't even release our, our latest product because it's maybe a little too crazy. It's too good. So some people think it's all bullshit in order to generate hype in order to generate more attention and therefore justify additional rounds of fundraising
Starting point is 00:10:57 because it's also like this behemoth that requires constant, constant input, constant money flowing into it to keep it up. There needs to be a global coordination effort to stop. and curb the development of AI. Well, why don't we start it? Hear me out. Okay. We and all of our fans do, I don't know, 48 hours, no tech.
Starting point is 00:11:37 We do it together. We film on an old JVC can. And release it as a video. I will be honest with you. I need maybe to. . . . . . . . . . I don't know if I could do it because I didn't have Wi-Fi for like two hours on the plane and I was freaking out. What if we try it? Let's go to Catalina Island. Wait, Will, that's actually fucking badass for the Patreon. That would be fucking badass. I love that.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Well, we could release it as an episode. Well, yeah, I think we could do that. And then bonus material? I love that. No, wait, that's actually fun. For two hours, for like a day. Two hours? Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:11:56 That's like the boat ride to Catalina Island. 48 hours. We challenge our audience to do it as well. And then everybody sounds off. How was your 48 hours? No tech. Okay. I went 72 in rehab pretty good.
Starting point is 00:12:10 That's impressive. Yeah, well, whatever. Amish do it every day. Well, they aren't also dealing with my illnesses. I bet you could turn by the way it works. I would be so good at being Amish. I tell you guys, I went and ate with the Amish ones. What does that mean?
Starting point is 00:12:25 I dined with the Amish. When? The 2008. Why? He has the year down. I'm not even kidding. It's a great year for the Amish. I went to Intercourse, Pennsylvania.
Starting point is 00:12:35 and an Amish family. There's a place called Intercourse, Intercourse Pennsylvania. There's a town in North Carolina called Fuck Away Vagina. That's awesome. Yeah. That's freaking awesome.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I hate the mornings. I hate it here. I hate it. It's so early. Beauty, it's not that early. It's only that. No. Cudy in a thousand more years.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Forever. I can't do it. It's so tight. Lock together for you. And let's chain our legs together under the table. Yeah, no, it's great. Beauty, don't worry.
Starting point is 00:13:05 All right, Intercourse, Pennsylvania. The year is 2008, a young Austin show. And I, not gay at the time. And I went. Not how that works. And I went and I had still gay. I was hitting on women on that trip. I was fucking tell him what he fucking is.
Starting point is 00:13:20 Amish we did? No. I was trying to fuck Amos. No, no, no. Remember that's the time when I went to the baseball game and I peed my pants? Hey, Gertrude. No, I went to Intercourse Pennsylvania. Remember the ghost story?
Starting point is 00:13:32 I told you guys the ghost story at the same same location. But why did you eat with the Amish? Well, I don't know. It was just part of our field trip. Oh. And we went and stopped at the Amish and they cooked us a whole meal. Like creatures. Was it good?
Starting point is 00:13:43 Well, no, I couldn't eat that much because I was kind of grossed out because they were talking about how they killed the chickens like right before they. You know what I mean? Like they, I was like, it's a little too close to the product. The worst foreign dignitary. No. Yeah. Can you imagine this guy was something? He's like, well, they just.
Starting point is 00:14:02 I remember. I remember. I remember. Yeah, he's like, brought out, no pork, no pork, please. They brought out just, are you Muslim? No, just a mound of chicken. Just a mound of chicken. But anyway, you killed this chicken.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Yeah. Disgusting. Yeah. I didn't eat the meat at all. And then we went to Hershey Park. Not with the Amish. No, Hershey Park's great. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:23 So it was great. That was my trip to the Amish. Not really. Oh, man, Will, do I have trouble keeping after my employees? Really? Oh, yeah. But you know what's made it easier? What's that?
Starting point is 00:14:33 Fresh books. Tell me about it. Well, if you're building a service business, the money side can feel like a whole second job. A service business? Yeah. Well, I run a lot of service business. Don't ask questions that you don't know to know the answer to. But, you know, I don't like to feel like a whole second job, all right?
Starting point is 00:14:49 I just want every invoice to show clients. I'm the real deal, okay? Not doing some sort of side hustle. That's right. I want to be official. Yeah, but FreshBooks changes that, all right? FreshBook makes the money side of your service-based business so easy. log your hours, send a branded invoice, get paid,
Starting point is 00:15:07 and know your numbers instead of chasing him. Money in, money out. Now, money in and money out. I'm telling you, it's crazy. You don't need a financial background either, because I don't know any... I failed financial 316 in college. Did you?
Starting point is 00:15:18 Seriously, multiple times. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I don't know. Did you take the 101 course? I withdrew multiple times. I was able to, in a circumvent system. Well, with fresh books. Yeah, don't need the class.
Starting point is 00:15:28 That's right. I knew that, right? Right now, my listeners, our listeners, can get fresh books for less than $3 a month, your first four months. That's 90% off. Head to FreshBooks.com slash podcast to get started. That's 90% off under $3 a month for four months at freshbooks. com slash podcast.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Very uneventful. We should have an Amish on this. If you're Amish and you want to come on, let me know. They wouldn't do it. Rum Springer. During Rum Spring. Theo Vaughn had an Amish. What's a Rum Springer?
Starting point is 00:15:51 An Amish. An Amish. You don't just say an Amish. Yeah. So Rum Springing is. They're not listening to this. Rum Springer is. They could be on Rumbringer right now listening to us and thinking I want to go
Starting point is 00:16:03 on that podcast. Rome Spring is this like the event that every Amish has where they get to experience technology in the real world once they get to a certain age. You depart from the lifestyle in the church to be reminded of how important and beautiful your life is back in Amish country. No, no, no, it's falling for the devil's temptations. But you get the day. Right, but they let you go experience things. But if you fall for it, that's of the devil. So good luck.
Starting point is 00:16:30 I mean, but it's really hard. It's less about cherishing what they have. more about, is the devil inside of you? Oh, I see. So you never know. Yeah, they wear like regular clothes. They use cell phones or they use cars. They go to like bars and stuff.
Starting point is 00:16:46 That's awesome. Why do they ever go back? Because they, because they're convinced that if they choose this other life, then they're leaving the rod, the iron rod. I don't know. You know what's crazy?
Starting point is 00:16:58 What? It says on the, on the AI Google output that like, it's voluntary. Like the end of Rumspringer is voluntary and that like you could just keep it going. Yeah. You could just live in the same way that like taking communion.
Starting point is 00:17:12 You guys have never been indoctrinated and it shows. Yeah. Thanks. Thank you for that. Well, wouldn't you get, wouldn't that just blast your brain like where you're just like, oh my God. Cocaine's fucking awesome. Well, it's of the devil. And so if you want to be saved for all eternally, you have to go back. Why do they make, why does religion make all the fun shit
Starting point is 00:17:28 of the devil? Ooh. Because they want you to be controlled. Yeah. Okay, but they can still control us with fun shit. I mean, yeah. Yeah, people could try that, but it's a little harder. It's a little erratic.
Starting point is 00:17:42 Why can't they just add shit to the church? Right. I don't know if you've seen all the gambling ads on TV. They're controlling us with fun stuff too. Speaking of which, there's a new gambling ad that I think really would appeal to you in particular. Really? Pull it up. This one is for you.
Starting point is 00:17:59 And I believe that, I believe. I believe you haven't seen it yet, but I just want to show. This isn't going to work on me. Oh, yes, it will. Come on, Will. Think you know sports? I mean, I... How do those stay up?
Starting point is 00:18:12 Wow. Just sports. So they wanted to show. Just sports. What the fuck? You can trade the sport. And the sport. How about this?
Starting point is 00:18:28 This sport, too. Or this? Sports, sports, sports, sports, sports, sports, sports. Sports, sports, sports. You can't trade this. I just look at here. No betting on wars or deaths. And no politics.
Starting point is 00:18:49 Just you. What do you think? Are they trying to, wait, stop. Are they trying to sell this as like a more ethical gambling website because they're not trading on death destruction and war? I'll be honest with you, I'm kind of in. What was the ad for? I know, but I know I'm gay, but like this, this won't that, the, I get it. I get it.
Starting point is 00:19:10 I saw that and there's something deep down inside of me that was like, something primal. That was, how do people not understand that these are diseases of despair and we are literally pumping the only, like, minuscule opportunity for upward social mobility in the form of gambling to a entire generation of young men? I know I've been pretty sick. who killed themselves by the fucking millions. I've always liked gambling. Yeah. Oh, my God. This is making me...
Starting point is 00:19:38 Don't gamble. This is making me, like, go back to Islam, dude. I just... See, and that's why people go back from Rum Springer. Yeah, I know. I just, I hate this shit so much. I love gambling. You guys know, I've gambled.
Starting point is 00:19:50 God, that would also be a fire episode of the podcast. Hassan Piker, back to Islam. Yeah. I've been talking about the Mecca episode for a while. Listen, listen, here's the problem. Everything about this is so fucked up. It's so base boosted at the same time with like, it's just like tits in your face. They're like, look, look at the titties.
Starting point is 00:20:10 Don't you want to gamble? You're an animal. Come on. Come on. Fuck me. Interesting. Because she like is so forever, for so long, she's so vocal about like not wanting to be seen just for her body. And then she does shit like that.
Starting point is 00:20:22 Yeah, woke 2.0, baby. I'm like, she confuses the hell out of me. Wow. I have a personal gambling. I was just going to say. She looks great. I don't play. I wouldn't say I wouldn't do the opposite,
Starting point is 00:20:35 but I also wouldn't be vocal about saying I'm doing the opposite. Speaking of gambling, I have two stories that I want to get to. Number one, it's already on here. It's on the docket. LeBron James. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:47 Unveils Polymarket ad. And you guys remember, let's just watch this first, and I'll tell you my story with Polymarket. I have a story. with Polymark. Is Ron? Is that Ron?
Starting point is 00:21:07 Yeah. Ron's in the commercial for one second. Holy See with Alexander Dishnero. Is that John Leguizamo? Yeah. Like everybody's in it. And now we play. They don't have any normal cameos.
Starting point is 00:21:23 It's all the celebrities. The captain? I like that part. It's all life trades people. Trade ball money. Freaking Girl from Laguna Beach in there. Wait, was that? Kristen Caballari.
Starting point is 00:21:44 No, go back. That was on the Zoom call. Oh, yeah, that's Emily Radical. That was woke queen, Emily Radicalsky? Yeah. Oh, we're so fucked. We're so fucked. Every single billionaire, multi-millionaire celebrity is just like,
Starting point is 00:22:01 oh, fat check from Polly Market. Let's fucking go. I sent Polymarket a cease and desist for streamer awards last year. And they just told me no. I said, oh, okay. I remember this because you said that these results are already known. I said, this is terrifying. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:17 You're putting an award show on Polymarket, one that's like, I know, I've been around for five years. Like, hello. Oh, is that? A hundred plus people that work on the production team know the results. So you're, I even said to them, I said, your risk of insider trading is massive. And like, and we sent a letter from the lawyer. And they said, Donald Trump Jr. is sitting on our board. I think we're going to be fine.
Starting point is 00:22:39 He also happens to be in the, in the gambling commission. They said, they replied and they said, if you have any, we take insider trading very seriously. If you have any idea who's doing it, let us know. I don't know who's doing it. Yeah, you're like hundreds of people know the results. I don't have time for that. I'm telling you the information that hundreds of people know the results days before the show. Hello?
Starting point is 00:22:59 You don't care? They don't care. Which brings me to my next point. Do you want the result? Not that bad. I'm trying to get rich. I don't, win, win, win, win. You have a very, you have a unique opportunity to do insider trading because as QD has an experience with Polymarkets, so do I.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Last, you know, in 2024, when the election was happening, Polymarker reached out and said, we'll give you a million dollars starting the negotiations to do one day of ads. I told them fuck off. The next day they got rated by the FBI as a matter of fact. Saying that so quick, Asan. Okay? I'll be honest. So here.
Starting point is 00:23:36 Polymarket, call me on election night. That was just the opener. That was just the introduction to the negotiations. We probably could have gotten more. I said no. Then Polymarket, two days ago, decided to tweet that I was a defender of Lindsay Clancy. Now, I don't even know what that actually means.
Starting point is 00:23:59 Having said that, I retweeted. it, it was going viral because people were like, oh, this guy fucking sucks, killed this person, whatever, because no one is normal about this court. Apparently, it's understandable. It's a high profile and heinous crime. I retweeted it. They had to delete their tweet in shame, right? The next day, they came out with a new bet.
Starting point is 00:24:24 New Polly market. Hassan Piker arrested in 2026, question mark. Those are good odds. That's what I'm saying. I feel like, hold on. I feel like I should at least put 10 bucks on it. I feel like we should put you. They didn't say arrested for what.
Starting point is 00:24:37 So let's get you behind the wheel. Honestly, dude. If you find out preemptively that you're going to go down, it would be really funny if you made me a billionaire. Yeah. Yeah. Just let me know 48 hours in advance. I'll put my entire life savings on it and we'll come.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Yes. I'll bail you. Seemingly, no one cares about the ethics of the situation. But this is the Trump administration's very own like Trump administration affiliated gambling market actively trying to design odds. So like design reality. This is, this is like if I were to be arrested and then we found out in some way,
Starting point is 00:25:17 shape, or form that there was involvement from a person who triggered the events to try to get this arrest to take place that then bet on my arrest, there's a lawsuit that could take place. Now, of course, courts are, you know. Chopped. Oh, wow. I didn't even think of that. Yeah, no, this is terrifying. This is fucking terrifying. It's ridiculous.
Starting point is 00:25:40 They could just be like, oh, yeah, Hassan Piper. And also notice it's arrested, not prosecuted. So let's say you're an upstart LAPD who sees Hassan Piker having a dinner. Maybe you suspect that he's drunk and disorderly. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, place your bet, handcuff him, let him go. Oh, my God. Oh, interesting. Sorry, I just gave the world.
Starting point is 00:26:04 It was funny for a little bit and then it wasn't. That is literally the problem. That's what I'm, that's, that's what's frustrating about it. They've done this before. Or you could bet on your own arrest. Have you ever thought of that? And then just piss outside? Yeah, I'm not doing that.
Starting point is 00:26:22 But in any case, it's, it's a terrifying prospect. And I wanted to hear what you guys, what Austin thinks about this. Oh, yeah. It seems like, I thought you. guys are going to be like, oh my God, this is so terrifying. Meanwhile, all of you are like dollar size. What the fuck is going on? Everybody knows that I'm more concerned about your safety than you are. Okay? Yeah, until dollar signs. He put ball bearings up his ass. Yeah. I have been consulting with your team on all of your trips. You didn't even know this. And I'm, I'm ahead of it. You know,
Starting point is 00:26:54 I know, I know every move that you're making. He wants to be head of security if you ever become president. Yeah. I'm on top of it. No, Hassan, this is horrific. And it's, um, what? I mean, I don't like the whore you put in that. Yeah, you really had dropped a hard horror there. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's horrific. And, and, and I condemn it.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Uh-huh. What do you want me to fucking do, Hassan? I'm gonna, fuck this. I think the prospect of gambling being so ubiquitous is, is dangerous because I, too, enjoyed gambling, but I think gambling rightly should be relegated to a place like Las Vegas. So you have to go deal with being in Las Vegas. Also, like some of these. Some of these have been on people's lives.
Starting point is 00:27:41 Like there's some things that pop up that's like, do you think like, I don't know, Dick Van Dyke is going to die this year, right? I think Dick Van Dyke's going to die? No. Why would you put that out there? I hope he doesn't. Now I feel so bad because he's 99.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Like, you know. Cash it? No, he's 101. Okay, he's 101. But you know what I'm saying? Like, people are putting that shit on here. and then it could like, that you could put enough money
Starting point is 00:28:04 that you hire a freaking hitman or some shit or go and push him over. Like that's terrible. That's really bad. I don't know if he's on there, but you know what I'm saying? Yeah, that's, oh gosh.
Starting point is 00:28:13 Yeah, it is absolutely terrifying. Yeah. And I agree with you. I think it should be relegated to Vegas. And I'm, I hate gambling. I don't gamble.
Starting point is 00:28:21 I don't bet on anything. I just don't know what happened. Like, oh. This happened. What happened? What do you mean? Yeah,
Starting point is 00:28:30 it's a huge growth. It's a huge. gross sector. First, first, it was incepted into the collective consciousness to like draft kings and stuff, which is like one way to the gamble without it being like directly sports betting, I guess, even though it literally is sports betting. Then it became actual sports betting. Then these guys decided, actually, we're going to call these prediction markets. It's totally separate from gambling. It's a totally different thing. And not only that, but we're also going to do prediction markets on every single thing, including war, including death and destruction, including
Starting point is 00:29:01 Are these the arrests of Americans? I want to say, I have been offered a crazy amount of money sports betting because I talk about sports all the time. And I have turned down
Starting point is 00:29:12 a crazy amount of money. To which even my parents are like, hey, maybe you should just take the money. Yeah, I mean, I think do you think we can get to a point that we ban this across the...
Starting point is 00:29:26 Is this banned in other parts of the world? Or is this only... I mean, it was banned for a while. Yeah. It's regulated more. Yeah. It's also becoming a massive issue in other countries as well.
Starting point is 00:29:37 In some respects, it was already a bigger issue in places like Australia. Australia has a huge gambling problem far before it became this big of an issue in the United States. So in some places, they're ahead of us already. It is devastating. It is probably, you know, my biggest ops at stake, the online crypto gambling casino that owns Kik, that creates. that created kick and now there's also these these prediction markets
Starting point is 00:30:05 and it's it's wild because it's already so infused like reputable institutions like CNN have open partnerships with Kalshi and yeah that fucking and Harry Anton is like
Starting point is 00:30:19 can you talk about Harry Anton yeah I don't like him I like Harry no I don't I don't because he comes up with these stupid fucking statistics about shit that doesn't fucking matter. And he normalizes the positions of the Trump administration and the actions of the Trump administration by talking about these things that are happening in the realm of reality.
Starting point is 00:30:42 We're not in the realm of reality. He'll be like, well, 60%. Like, he'll be like, well, 60% of people approved of how Trump was handling taxes. And then now 60% of people, it's dropped by 70 points. And then you look at the tax code and the tax code hasn't fucking changed. The reality is, Americans don't know what the fuck's going on and the reactionary to whatever the economy is doing. And they just vote the other direction based on whatever the economy is doing. So these statistics, they have no, they have no. Well, the thing that's really frustrating is they'll use the Kalshi prediction market. Yes, I know.
Starting point is 00:31:20 As a poll, that's not a poll. I will say last year with streamer awards, whatever, I did. I mean, I looked at them because we were trying to actively get them down. And they were just all wrong. You know what I'm saying? And I think that's the problem because I did see people, some people after the show. So the problem is they weren't doing insider trading enough. Yeah, but no, but I did see people like after the show being like, how could so and so win?
Starting point is 00:31:43 Like this is what the cow she was or whatever. And it's like, yeah. Yeah, I don't know what to tell you. People put their money on something different than what they put their vote, their free vote on. Like it is. It's like very, I don't know. It's weird. I just think they're stupid polls.
Starting point is 00:31:58 They're stupid polls and they don't make any, like, we're trying to, he's trying to, like, draw, like, meaningful reason for why this, this particular data point has changed or swayed the other direction. And there is no reason, right? One of my experiences with both Calci and Polymarket is every single time, every single time I've, like, announced a meetup or have conducted a meetup with a politician in the primary season in the campaign trail. their prediction market chances was skyrocket.
Starting point is 00:32:28 And that's when I realized like, well, one, there's a lot of people in this community that are probably going and participating in this. And two, that is not like a clear indication that a politician's chances of winning are going to go up. So the fact that they, like one incident like that could play such a formative role in the betting market and the prediction market showed me that it's just like not stable. it's not a reasonable way to interpret events at all. And last but not least, famously, Polymarket had Zoron's odds at like 2%. Zoron's odds of winning at 2% the night of the election.
Starting point is 00:33:06 Yeah. The night of the election, really. Yeah. So they, you know, they're not, they are, they're super off base usually. But getting back to the dystopian future that we live in that doesn't have any of the good stuff and only the bad shit, I want to talk about, Austin show You know, I don't like to handle cash anymore Neither do I, it's a pain in the butt
Starting point is 00:33:32 It's grody, it's dirty, it's messy I have a picture of Christian On my cash app card That's so nice So cute Yes Oh my gosh Well, let me tell you something, Will
Starting point is 00:33:42 Tell me Cash apps, it's not just a safe way to send And receive money With the cash app card You know this, you unlock a ton of perks Without all those hidden fees That's right I tell you what, early
Starting point is 00:33:53 access to nationwide concert pre-sales like Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter. Kendrick? I'm telling you. Love it. Wow. Right? Discounts on everyday purchases and popular brands, you're probably already spending money on. You can add your card to your digital wallet. Do you know that? I didn't know that. Yeah, it's amazing. Cash app can do way more than I thought, and it makes my money work for me. I love that. Yeah. Yeah. Well, but there's also something you wanted to say, find print. Yeah, but I think we got to, I think we also have to do the referral bonus. Oh, the referral bonus. I almost forgot.
Starting point is 00:34:26 Yeah. New cash app customers can earn $10 if they use code Cash App 10 in their profile for it. Sign up and send $5 to a friend within 14 days. Terms apply. Starting point is 00:34:56 slash legal slash podcast for full disclosures. Amazing. We fucking know that. Yeah, we did. I want to go back to AI. Specifically talk about
Starting point is 00:35:05 one story related to AI. Neon. Controversial kick streamer neon is now officially going from being a streamer that may or may not be botting his audience to becoming a bot himself. Let's take a look at this ad.
Starting point is 00:35:23 24-7 AI stream. What? Eardy, like a damp forest? Why is that cube climbing? It picked your star. Chat, did that ice just choose my star? That was a sniff, man. Oh, he's doing AI live streams?
Starting point is 00:35:54 Yes, 24-7. 24-7? Yes, neon has decided to become a 24-7 AI kick streamer. I would assume so. Obviously this was very controversial. A lot of people got mad about this. For me, it's like, there's not a lot of real people watching anyway,
Starting point is 00:36:15 so who cares? It's dead internet theory. It's just like, you've become the bot and you're serving the bots. Yeah, there's another one here. Let's watch the larger one. Go back to the beginning of it.
Starting point is 00:36:31 I like the bald guy's head. Is it a bowling ball? Oh, hello. Just hit the button. Who's this other guy? I feel like he's like made up. I don't know. I'm on the AI guy.
Starting point is 00:36:57 See? Nothing to it. Should we get out? I don't know. Hmm. Oh my God. First ever infinite live stream. So is it going right now?
Starting point is 00:37:16 No, it's not live. It's supposed to be 24-7. Why is he not live? It's not as infinite as we thought. Oh shit. There it is. Keep moving. This lane is smooth.
Starting point is 00:37:38 Oh, come on. Chat. Laundry betrayed me. Why is it attached? Ow, not a guy. You know, there's something about it that's really, it reminds me of, go ahead and pause real quick. It reminds me of almost like that state that you're in between being asleep and being awake. It's like so uncanny.
Starting point is 00:38:01 That's where I'll always love you, Peter Pan. Your reference. But there's something just so uncanny about it that I'm like, oh. Well, there's a sense that I get when I see. I think we should build more data centers. That's what I think. I see this and I go build a data center in my motherfucking backyard baby. Take over.
Starting point is 00:38:22 End it all. It's time. Aren't they building like a massive, massive, endless data center in Utah? Yeah. A lot of people are like... Yeah, Kevin O'Leary. Revolting against it, but I don't think there's anything they can do because the billioners are just winning.
Starting point is 00:38:37 Especially because the Great Salt Lake in Utah is drying up. Like, it's a problem. Like, Utah's in one of its worst droughts ever. And the Great Salt Lake is drying up. And underneath all that is like lead and arsenic. Yeah. Oh. And so as it's drying, it's creating a dust bowl and it's like going to potentially poison people to the point that that might become a desolate area where like no one can live.
Starting point is 00:38:58 All in Salt Lake City? Like around the. Salt Lake at minimum, but up to like hundreds of miles around the Salt Lake. 40,000 acres. Yeah. So they're trying to figure out what to do with it. And then during all this, there's this data center that wants to come in. But they scaled it down, but they scaled it down to 10,000 acres apparently.
Starting point is 00:39:15 So it's fine, I guess. Yeah. So it's pretty bad. It's really dystopian. Delta's going to have to find a new hub. Yeah, Delta's going to have to do that. Yeah. So it's a little crazy.
Starting point is 00:39:27 It's a little depressing. you know, and it's all, we live in Florida now. I don't know if you guys have noticed. It's 100 degrees today with humidity at 80%. Yeah, that's super al-Mino. That's something I've been paying close attention to. Super El Nino is going to dramatically alter this winter. For those of you who don't Abla Españo,
Starting point is 00:39:48 El Nino means the big Nino. Yeah, well, El Nino is super is large, larger, bigger. And then El Nino is the sun. Oh, super. That means bigger? Or a child? Oh, wow, crazy. Super the child.
Starting point is 00:40:02 Gordito and Nini. That's why I said. Okay. Wait, I'm sorry. No, you're good. I just made a funny and nobody laughed. Exceptually strong. I'll go ahead and kill myself.
Starting point is 00:40:11 No, no, no, don't kill yourself. Please. Okay, I won't. Okay, thank you. I'll wait for AI. An exceptionally strong warm phase of the El Nino's southern oscillation climate pattern with Eastern Pacific Ocean temperatures rising two degrees centigrade or more above average.
Starting point is 00:40:24 Yeah. What it's doing is making Los Angeles Southern California the most human place in the country, which is very unique. This is supposed to be very dry desert-like conditions. And the speculation from Ryan Hall and many other meteorologists is that it is going to completely reroute and cause mass flooding. And also, major snowstorms near the Gulf Coast in areas, not in Los Angeles, but areas in the Gulf Coast that normally would never get.
Starting point is 00:40:57 experience snow and also simultaneously places like Minnesota that normally would have a lot of snow are most likely going to have a drier climate and a drier winter with not as much snow at all. Now, I don't know. It's not an exact size, even though it is an exact size. I just don't fully understand it. But apparently it's just like flipping the script. So the southern, the southern states are going to experience an insane winter. And, And we're definitely cooked out here. Like, because Southern California is not used to rainfall at all, even after many, many years of extreme rainfall and flooding that's taken place.
Starting point is 00:41:37 And then, of course, there's the other consequence in 2027 because it actually destroys the fauna. And then there's too much fuel, too much dry brush that die in the vegetation because they're over, they're eating too much water. What a God. Yeah. This is a kind of, this is too much. Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:41:57 So moving on. I'm going back to rehab. Yeah, okay. I'll join you. I began today's episode with a topic that I'd like to revisit, and that is our reaffirming of our love for fear. Oh my God, it's like renewal of vows.
Starting point is 00:42:12 Right. Yeah. And obviously, I think people misunderstood my take that I gave last episode, and then I just think there is artistic merit to things ending in their own time, but in the interest of reaffirming. Yeah, guys, the way Kobe retired versus the way freaking Michael Jordan retired.
Starting point is 00:42:27 Exactly. Let's just talk about that. Thank you for putting it that way. Or like Simpsons. No one talks about the wizards. Still running. With that being said, we have reaffirmed our commitment to the podcast. Football is back.
Starting point is 00:42:40 Football. And fear and at the behest of the beautiful and the intelligent Kitty Cinderella is doing their own fantasy football. That's right. You guys can track at home. Suckers. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Fuck you. Fuck you. Fuck you. Wait, why you say, fuck you. Because I'm going to beat your ass. No, your team is, I think I auto-drafted about it. I see. Okay.
Starting point is 00:43:01 So here's the, here's the problem. Here is the league right here. Already cut and ready to go with our standards. What's my team name? I don't even know of my team. You named yours. I don't know how to change my name. Onsides kick Hassan.
Starting point is 00:43:17 Yeah. Wow. It's not the failenials. No, someone else took that. That's Hannah. What the fuck? Yeah, you should. You have to go in and edit it.
Starting point is 00:43:26 I didn't name your team or I didn't know either. No, I, first of all, I don't even know how to do any of those things. I've never played fantasy football in my life. I'm going to change it my team name. I, uh, I didn't have plain Wi-Fi, so I auto-drafted the team. No, this is fucking bullshit, okay? We have this team fucking me, Caroline, Sam, and Christian and Will are the only ones that drafted. Me, Caroline, Sam, and Christian have no fucking clue.
Starting point is 00:43:52 You guys auto-drafted better than us sitting there doing our best. have Wi-Fi. That's crazy! I got off the ground and ladies you gentlemen, we don't have Wi-Fi. What am I supposed to say? And I said, you couldn't let us know. I could have chosen another flight. Because you just auto-drafted. Oh, hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:10 And I meant to get Bajon Robinson, and I got Brian Robinson. It's my first pick. I did all this research on Bajon. I did so much research on Bajon. He was the only one I wanted. And so I made sure I got first pick. I type in freaking Bajon Robinson, but my phone auto-corrects to Brian and I click on him.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Yeah, so this is Qudy's draft report card. You got an F? Wait, what's my draft report card? Dude. You got to check their email, you fuck. Well, well, well, if it isn't Blitz, cutie, who managed to turn the draft into a masterclass of misfortune. This is AI.
Starting point is 00:44:44 God, I fucking hate AI. With a draft grade of F, their projected finish dead last at 10th place with a stunning record of 0.15. Talk about a schedule that's tougher than a $2 steak. One player is already on a buy week 14. which is a real kicker when you're already facing the toughest schedule in the league. Despite their best efforts, Blitz QD snagged the best pick at 65, but it's hard to celebrate when the worst pick was made at five. That's right, folks.
Starting point is 00:45:09 What does that mean made at five? They didn't like your first round back. Also, they forget, well, that's because it was supposed to be. But John, not Brian. Why are two B. Robinson's? Like, that's fucked up. Okay. Also, me, Caroline, and Sam, we're on the phone.
Starting point is 00:45:24 And eventually we get to the point. It's just our turn and we just, we start playing the game of name a football player. And that was fun. And that's how we were drafting. We were like, oh, I know this one. And Caroline almost got Patrick Mahomes, but then her chat told her not to because we were just naming them until we ran out. I got someone named Matt Day. Wait, why did her chat tell her?
Starting point is 00:45:42 Caroline is actually the favorite to win the league right now. That's crazy. Wait, why did her chat tell her not to draft Patrick Mahomes? Apparently he's bad at fantasy. I don't even, he's just been not great the last year. But I got Drake, man. I feel like that's a good pick. That's great pain.
Starting point is 00:45:55 But apparently it's bad to have three quarterbacks. Listen, you got to play the waiver wire. Why is it bad to have three quarterbacks? It's a bold strategy. Okay. I mean, it could pay off. Speaking of football. Oh.
Starting point is 00:46:09 Listen, speaking of football, this also kind of ties into Will's mood. Because what? Will's birthday's coming up. Sure. Okay. And is Will's best friend of 17 years. Right. I know that there's a little bit of a somber attitude around your birthday.
Starting point is 00:46:27 So I'm going to kill her. So what I'm going to do instead for Will Neff is basically, yeah, basically that. I'm going to tie two things that you, things that cause a lot of hardship in your life, a lot of struggle in your life. Sure. And Will Neff. Oh, he got you something. That's so thoughtful.
Starting point is 00:46:53 Oh, my goodness. He doesn't normally do this. What? This is romantic. Oh, wow. Yeah, okay. Yes. Right.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Well, next. This is a show. Okay. Moving in slow motion. In my hands. You fucking idiot. You fucking idiot. Ticket.
Starting point is 00:47:16 For Sofi Stadium in Englewood, California for a game between the Jets and the Chargers. Pause music. What?
Starting point is 00:47:32 No one listens to me. What? Wait, what? I already told you the Jets are sending me to that game. What? And we could go on the sideline. I've told all three of you. Multiple fucking times! This is a very expensive...
Starting point is 00:47:47 But we called Caroline and she... No one listens to me. So wait, so Caroline... So didn't listen to you then? So are you not going to go with him? I'll go with you. Thank you. What do I do?
Starting point is 00:48:02 These are like really expensive. I got like, I got like not, not not the most expensive but the second most expensive. You have to take a calcium deal for that. I feel like I'm talking in space where no one can hear me. Sometimes you talk about the jets. I don't know what's going on. Caroline! Well, well, I didn't know it was this game.
Starting point is 00:48:22 It could have been any game. It could have been inside. Oh! No, no, don't do it, Will. The one game in California that they've played in the last four years. Sometimes you try to get us to fly. Yeah. Will, how about, well, I think the Vikings are coming down.
Starting point is 00:48:36 We go on the sideline for that one. You know what, guys, that is a lovely gift. And I'm excited to go with you. I got you a birthday present. Wait, wait, what the fuck? Your birthday's not until Sunday. Yeah, but our episode is. Yeah, but our episode comes out on Monday.
Starting point is 00:48:49 No, but next week. Wait, guys, wait, Maya FaceTime to me and she's wedding dress shopping. Oh, okay, okay. let's do that. She's wedding dress shopping. I'll care when you get married. No, no, no. I'm so excited to go with you.
Starting point is 00:49:04 You're going to have a great time. Not answering. What if I missed the wedding dress? She already bought it. You're cooked. You're not going to like it. Okay. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:49:17 I thought we were doing gifts next episode. Don't worry about it. No, I am worried about it. You're going to have a great time watching the Jets Luz in California. It's going to be awesome. Yeah. Well, I have no dog in that fight. You're not going to root for the Jets?
Starting point is 00:49:35 I'm rooting for the Jets. Qudy, can you wait until next week so we can do ours together? No, do it now, cutie, fuck it. Well, now I look like an asshole because I thought it was doing when, okay, what is culturally, when are you supposed to get? Because I thought if the, culturally, well, in my culture. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just curious, like I, wouldn't it be acceptable because we're filming next Wednesday? Listen, guys, I want to let you know there is no expectation.
Starting point is 00:50:00 No, but there is. There is expectation. It's okay. I put the expectation of myself. No, stop. It was my New Year's resolution to be better. You guys are such fantastic friends to me. I think I'm kind of medium.
Starting point is 00:50:10 Well, you're all fantastic friends to me, and I'm grateful to have you in my life. Well, I wanted to. I don't need. No, I'm going to get you something. I thought this was going to be better than last year is when I gave you Turkish Batman and you. Turkish, I still have it on my desk. Yeah. Shush, shush.
Starting point is 00:50:25 And you made fun of me. Okay, well, I got this custom made. Oh, my God. And you got me a wedding dress? No, it got, so it got shipped here. Or it's not shipped here. It's getting shipped to my house. But it got made like last week.
Starting point is 00:50:40 And it's a necklace for you. Oh, wow. And there's a hot pepper because I make hot sauce. Yeah, and there's a bee because you grew up on the bee farm. Oh, wow. And there's a farly. That's amazing. And then some filler stuff.
Starting point is 00:50:53 That's beautiful. You actually? I don't know if you'll wear it. No, I'm going to wear it all the time. Will you wear it? I can remove some of the charms if you don't like it. That's so thoughtful, Katie. Guys, thank you.
Starting point is 00:51:02 These are such thoughtful gifts. Yeah. You too. Austin, what did you? Yeah. I thought we were doing gifts next week. What were you planning on getting? Did you get me a bra from Target?
Starting point is 00:51:10 No, you guys. Guys, I'm going to get ripped apart to shreds. They're going to call me a piece of shirt and everything. Yeah. Guys, guys. To the, to the, to the horde. I tell people not to give me with this. No, but no, but I'm getting you a gift.
Starting point is 00:51:23 , that's, I just thought. That's not the whole thing. It's just coming next week. You could easily, if you put yourself in my shoes, you could easily have done it next week. Yeah, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, let's record our experience going to the football game.
Starting point is 00:51:38 All right, I'm down. Yeah. Well, aren't you going to be literally recording it if they're sending you to the silence? No, no, no, no. Just have a good relationship. Oh, they're just sending you for, oh, okay. I thought we were like streaming it or something.
Starting point is 00:51:50 No, no, no. Oh, hell yeah. All right, good. Well, happy birthday, Will. Thank you. By the way, I wanted to share an experience with you. I got my first cat's eye. Oh, and you can't get an MRI just so you know.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Okay. Wait. So listen. Listen, that's an interesting thing, she just said. Okay. So I get my nails done. I've been on a, like a year-long nail journey, and I've really been enjoying it, just as a part of my self-care.
Starting point is 00:52:14 And I get my nails done at the same place every time. And I went in this time, and I was short on time, and I didn't want to sit through getting a full design. So I was like, what should we do? And she's like, why don't you try a cat's eye? I was like, great. Like the group, the K-pop American K-pop band? Okay. So she paints the nails.
Starting point is 00:52:31 Uh-huh. Follow me on this. You know. I'm following. Sorry. All of a sudden, she takes a wand. Yeah, yeah. And she starts bippity-bop-dying my nails.
Starting point is 00:52:40 Yeah. And I thought she was like blessing them. Oh, no. And I was like, what are you doing? And she's like, what do you mean? I was like, are you blessing my nails? She's like, no, they're magnets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Cats-eye nails are. magnet. They're a little like weird like some sort of metal in there and then they use the how does it even work though? Like I well no it's like um it's like magnets there's metal in there. Yes. Yeah. And so if you get an MRI your fucking fingers will burn. Wait really? Yeah. Wip your nails off. Really? I I stopped
Starting point is 00:53:14 getting my nails done because I heard it could cause cancer. Oh okay. Oh wait. It's really rare. No, no no. It won't. Oh God. No, don't Google that. No, I'm looking at Maya's wedding dress. Okay. She found one. She found one that I missed a FaceTime call
Starting point is 00:53:32 because I was here with a bunch of boys. Sorry. It can't pass cancer. That was a joke. Happy birthday to me. Hey, when you get a wedding dress, I will answer the FaceTime call. Okay?
Starting point is 00:53:44 Maybe. Brick, man. I can't believe I miss the FaceTime call. That's sad. The one time your friend gets a wedding dress and you miss a FaceTime call. I'll think about it for the rest of my life. She's going to call you back.
Starting point is 00:53:55 She'll get married again. Hey guys. Good luck with that. Game, play the song. Game, play the fucking song. Is it going to get his copy truck? We can't play this. No, just pitch it up.
Starting point is 00:54:16 It'll just be the album and the chipmunks version. He'll be fine. That's great. Yeah. Okay. What is it? Gay boy, spit it out. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:54:28 Sometimes I like to pretend that I'm homophobic. Can I show you guys something that I really enjoy? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I don't know. I have been, I have been obsessed.
Starting point is 00:54:40 I show this to Austin last night. I don't, I didn't want to hurt your feelings because we rarely share a moment. Uh-oh. But you thought it was cringe? No, no,
Starting point is 00:54:49 I was, he was sharing me this, whatever this is last night. And I was just trying to be, we actually sat down and we chatted. It was just him and I last night. I was like, oh my,
Starting point is 00:54:58 I'm not going to ruin this moment by. Yeah, you just hated it. By, yeah, I didn't get it. Okay. Well,
Starting point is 00:55:04 I didn't find it amusing in the story. This is my new obsession. Because, you know, I go through, like, different hyperfixations and, like, you know, vocal quirks. Sure. You know, for the longest time was Haley Stevens going, what gives? Right. Or Israel comes to me in my dreams nowadays. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Nowadays, it's shifted to this guy who calls, who goes by the name Big Vincenz. Okay. Vincennes. Yes. I don't even know what. Okay, can I make a prediction? What? Does he make sandwiches?
Starting point is 00:55:36 That sounds like a guy who makes sandwiches. No, he doesn't. He makes art. He makes art with language. Okay? I don't trust anything his son likes usually. And I think it's going to be good. This person,
Starting point is 00:55:46 this person apparently is like popping for the last couple of years on Instagram. He's Australian. But the thing that's really weird about Big Vincennes is that he's not only Australian, but he's also Italian Australian. What does that mean? And I want to, once Gabe logs in the Instagram, I'll show you. Okay. Austin hated it.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Austin didn't like it at all. Did you tell I hated it? No, I didn't really care. I just, I'm still fascinated by it and I want to show it to other people. Did I sell it? Did I sell it? Oh, he's really into it. No, I genuinely didn't care about your reaction.
Starting point is 00:56:16 What? What the fuck? When you share something with somebody, that's the whole point of sharing it with them. Is there reaction? Putting you on game. They're genuine action. I was just putting you on game. He's just hanging it out there.
Starting point is 00:56:25 He didn't care what you thought. Yeah. Well, that would have been really nice to know because it was fucking inconvenient to have to turn around to the TV as I was eating. Yeah, as you were chowing down on my, I was like, It's really inconvenient to turn around. Yeah, because he was eating it on the key. You know how fucking hard it is to have a pita and dip it in hummus? Yeah, so I didn't realize that your viewership experience was destroyed.
Starting point is 00:56:48 Okay. Big Vincennes. Well, this is not the best one. Just click on Big Vincennes. Sure. Now that you're on Instagram. Sure. And then play, go down.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Here, play that one with the lady in the club. It's like second. Yeah, that one. Oh, okay. Yeah, that one's probably. better. Vince. Give me some
Starting point is 00:57:08 volume. They're for another episode of ethnic with Finchance. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:57:12 we're got a future to proceed to proceed but let's start with the scarp here.
Starting point is 00:57:20 They're Italian Australian and they have their entire they have an entirely
Starting point is 00:57:26 different language. They have an entirely different language where Italian Guido's
Starting point is 00:57:32 in Australia yeah yeah use like broken Italian, but with an Australian accent. I find it fascinating. It's been, it's destroyed my brain. You know what?
Starting point is 00:57:43 I can tell you right now why you're fascinated by this. Why? It's like going to Rutgers, but in Australia. Yes. Your mind is pre-ruckerified, right? Like you, you already know this. It's very native to you. Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:56 I only know one type of Italian-American, Guido. I did not know that they exist in Australia. They have terms such as Bella, brothing, Where they will use, with the Italian accent, they keep saying like, oh, Isabella and the sasa. Frathing is a very Australian term. Yes. You know, I kind of got this because I went to a. Oh, now you get it.
Starting point is 00:58:18 I get what you're saying. I get the concept. Because I went to, I went to Benihana one time in London. And the chefs were Japanese, but they instead of immigrating to the United States, they immigrated to London. And so they had like a British Japanese accent, which was so interesting. So when they spoke English, they used... What's that sound like? Yeah, do it. Do it now.
Starting point is 00:58:38 No, no, no. Do it now. Save the bit. Save the bit. The bit sucks. The guy sucks. You got to save it. You know what I mean? That would do...
Starting point is 00:58:46 That would... I get it. I was fascinating. I was like, wow. His accent, you know, I've met many Japanese Americans and that have immigrated from Japan. And, you know, when you adopt, when you speak English, you adopt, like, American English. And when you speak... But it was like a British English-Japanese accent.
Starting point is 00:59:02 And I was like, wow, that's fascinating. That is fascinating. Is that problematic? It's beautiful. No. No, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. You were leaning back as to not be in the clip.
Starting point is 00:59:11 No, I was nervous you were going to do an impression. No. Asking Italian mom to take her daughter out. We're revisiting this. Why? Let's go. This one really likes it, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:19 Got to get mom's approval first. All right. I'll have a word with her. Corinna, yeah? Your daughter's full weapon. Is that all right for taking a daughter? Your daughter's full weapon. Okay.
Starting point is 00:59:30 I brought up very, very proper. Yeah. Oh, proper. Yeah, proper. Okay. Is she traditional? I'm reaching for that tradition, that's the only thing. If not, no, I'm better.
Starting point is 00:59:38 Look, she's tradition. She's traditional. This is wearing a full trench p-coat. He's for a manchia. Manibella. Mangebella. He's feeding it. He's fiending it proper.
Starting point is 00:59:52 You know what? I'm watching a U.N. I get him. It's fascinating. I don't get it. It's on. Listen, he doesn't... She's profit.
Starting point is 01:00:02 He doesn't have many interests. Think about the Japanese chef at Benihana. I don't, neither of your interests are, you know what? Okay, whatever it is. I didn't talk about it until he got like. Okay, I tried. Do you want to try call Maya again? I missed the, I missed the wedding dress.
Starting point is 01:00:19 No, I missed it. I missed the wedding dress. Guys, what if Maya had an Italian accent, but instead with an Australian accent? I would fucking deal with it. She said, hey, Bella. I love bids. Yeah. Bella, look at this.
Starting point is 01:00:32 This is proper, fronting fit. Some old birds. Look at these fucking rain dress. Fing mentally, you fucking dog. Can we get birds? She got one. Yeah, I got the fucking dress. Oh, there's the drop. Oh, it's beautiful.
Starting point is 01:00:48 It's beautiful. Let me see. She just has to get it altered. It's beautiful. Wow. Austin reacted when the phone. So dumb. Wow.
Starting point is 01:01:01 It is gorgeous. He faked it so hard. You're such a good content crew. Okay. I would like to talk about my special interest that no one will care about. Just briefly. Guys, there are two fandoms that I am a part of that really traditionally have never won. The Jets.
Starting point is 01:01:19 D.C. Two is D.C. Detective Comics. Oh. But ladies and gentlemen, right now, the number one rated show on HBO, one of the highest rated comic book shows of all time. Lanterns based on the Green Lantern core. Oh no. 22 hours ago read it.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Lantern's audience score has fallen to 75. That's because of Chuds. Yeah. I don't know if you know this. There's a prominent black character. So one episode got with you bombed and the other three. Oh my God. That's so dumb.
Starting point is 01:01:51 So fucking insane. There it is. Go ahead and pull it up. So the third episode is about John Stewart, who is the Black Lantern. And it's like his family story and Chudge bombed it. But other than that, this show has been
Starting point is 01:02:05 fantastic. It is so amazing. Wait, what are you? No, she was chewing the chuds, but she wanted to clarify she wasn't, yeah. No, cutie is one of the chutz. I was like, ew, a black lantern? Nope, I cannot.
Starting point is 01:02:19 It's called green lantern. What's not black lantern. Now, this show is incredible for many reasons, but the thing I want to actually point out to you guys that you might be interested in, The hangful dong. Ew. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:35 What do you mean? Oh, wow. The hangful dog. Full dog. What do you mean, you like dong? That's okay. Let's see it.
Starting point is 01:02:44 No one likes a plain dong. What? Yes, they do. No one does. I don't think. I think, can I be honest? What do you mean? What do you mean?
Starting point is 01:02:51 I appreciate seeing a full dong. Really? I don't think anyone liked just plain Janitalia. For me, it's just kind of. It's kind of like, wow. I can't believe. that are hanging full dong. Yeah, it's gritty realism.
Starting point is 01:03:03 I'd be honest with you, I don't think people appreciate a nice flaccid penis. I don't. I think you can, I can appreciate a nice flaccid penis. You don't even appreciate your own flaccid penis. Yeah, because it's mine. But sometimes I do.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Anyway, I hope people in our community sound off about how awesome lanterns is, because lanterns is awesome. Is it better than the Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds when then he cheated on his wife with Blake lively? That's not the dong I wanted to see. Who's don't? I think they show it.
Starting point is 01:03:31 He's got a fantastic body. You know what? You're right. You're going to have a hard time aging. No, I already have. What? If you don't find that attractive,
Starting point is 01:03:43 you're going to be fucked when you're like 60. Oh, no, no, no. I, as I get out, he's always going to date 25 years. Okay,
Starting point is 01:03:50 Leonardo. No. Garrett Dilladone. Google it like that. Maybe it'll show. Oh, my glasses weren't on. It looks fantastic. Is this any
Starting point is 01:04:01 Complissous bitch Nothing you do is real I'm beginning to realize What do you mean You do fake reacts No I don't Well no You're stable Ronaldo
Starting point is 01:04:10 Wait wait wait wait Stable Ronaldo would never fake a react No he you're fake reacting What do you fake react No You don't never I'm actually so bad at fake reacting That a lot of times
Starting point is 01:04:20 I'll do react streams And they'll be like Are you live and I'm like right My bad I'm like this shit was just boring Yeah I think I just think it's, I think, you know what I've learned?
Starting point is 01:04:31 You're not proper, you're not proper cheeks. If somebody, if somebody, like, first. You fucking dog can't. This is what I've learned, okay, in my life, is that, you know, I have a friend, very good friend. I adore my friend Hassan. Love him. I think it's great. He shows, no, he shows me some old, not old, he shows me some shitty fucking thing that he's
Starting point is 01:04:50 interested in. Respectfully. My client says this, respectfully. Right, respectfully. Like some shitty thing that I don't fucking get, but. But out of respect, I'm going to be like, wow, that's so interesting. Because why would I ruin his day by being, oh, that's fucking shitty and I don't get it. It just kill, just buzzkill.
Starting point is 01:05:08 Why would I reign in your parade? Wow. Right? Yeah. But that's not fucking interesting to me. So I'd rather just say, wow, that's amazing. Right? But I think we should, you know, what would, do you think that's more appropriate?
Starting point is 01:05:19 Fake niceties. They have a time and a place. Right? There's no point in me saying, how off it's really shitty. I don't get it. It's much better to blast it on the fucking podcast. Speaking of fake niceties, something started trending in our corner of the internet because of Maya Hika. And I want to answer you, ask you a question all individually.
Starting point is 01:05:38 Just, I want to start with you. Do you know who Harrison Ford is? Yeah. Yeah. Yes. No, Maya's dumb as hell. I don't know. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:47 She doesn't know faces. She doesn't know faces. What do you mean? Harrison Ford is not just a face is a name. She doesn't know. Oh, okay. Can I ask? Can I ask?
Starting point is 01:05:56 What iconic characters. has Harrison Ford play. Austin. Harrison Ford. No, my God. Are you serious? No, no, I know Harrison Ford. He's a white guy with gray hair.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Just one of them. White guy. Harrison Ford. God, fuck. You don't know. You guys, I'm the worst person to ask. Austin, please. This is the worst person to ask.
Starting point is 01:06:20 You should be one of the best. Oh, he wasn't a plane movie. Oh, do you just get, wait, you don't know? Oh, Star Wars. actually Austin Are you fucking insane?
Starting point is 01:06:32 With the Indiana Jones theme But yeah Yeah Oh fuck Oh shit you're right That is Indiana Jones But yeah Yeah if I called Maya right now
Starting point is 01:06:40 And I asked her What Idris Elba's been in She'd be like What kind of plant is that? Okay She doesn't know names or faces This segues into what I want to tell you Sure
Starting point is 01:06:49 You're gonna flip out You're gonna be very mad at me Oh dude It's a plain story But it's a crazy one And it's really annoying But does it need to go on the Patreon? I flew yesterday and I boarded my plane.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Sure. And I sat down. And I don't really look at the person next to me because it's just like, you know, it's me and one of the person. We sit, I board in the fourth row of first. That's a lie. You're a liar.
Starting point is 01:07:14 No, I don't. You literally chop it up. I've seen you chop it up with a random. I'm past that year of my life. I'm all business. You. When we were in fucking China, you spoke for literally the entire direction.
Starting point is 01:07:27 of the flight with a random lady. You told us a story about how you felt the need to seduce the woman in the seat next to you because she thought you were a straight man. Yeah, yeah, but when I sit next to somebody, no, this is going to destroy you. Go on, go on with your fucking story. But no lies.
Starting point is 01:07:42 So you talk all the time except for this trip when your presence was needed. Okay, your jovial attitude was fucking needed. Go on. So I board the flight and the flight attendant comes on First of all, I'm like, well, he's hitting on me.
Starting point is 01:07:58 Really, he was hitting on me. Gay flight. Get into the story. So I sit down. And the flight attendant comes and he goes, hey, huge fan. It's such an honor to have you on the flight. He was talking to the guy next to me, not me. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 01:08:15 And I go, I was like, who the fuck is that? You know, and I was like trying to peek over. And I just see gray hair and glasses. So I'm texting Caroline. I'm like, who is it? And she's like, well, I don't know. And I'm like, well, let me see if I can. get his name because I couldn't look at him, right?
Starting point is 01:08:29 Because he's in my peripheral. It would have been obvious if I'm like trying to like, you know, case him out. I'm so, man. So I go, well, I'm like, okay, so I had an idea. When they come by and they take your orders for your meal, they'll say your name. Yeah. They're your first name or your last name. So they go, Austin, you know, we have a choice of a pasta or whatever, and I choose the pasta.
Starting point is 01:08:49 And then they go to the next guy. They go, the guy next to me, they go. And Kyle, um, You got the burger, and he's like, yes. I'm like, Kyle. Good choice, by the way. Burger was an excellent. I sat next to Kyle.
Starting point is 01:09:07 McClallan. McLaughlin. The end. Michael. Maclellan? Blue Velvet. Twin Peaks? Dude.
Starting point is 01:09:17 David Lynch? Oh. I sat next to him the whole flight. He was reading a script. And that's crazy. And I, you could have had, and he's woke. You could have had. him on the fucking pot. I didn't, I didn't say a word to him. That's crazy. The entire flight,
Starting point is 01:09:31 because I, I didn't, I wanted to be respectful. And we're Gucci shirt brothers. Look up Ka McClala and Gucci shirt. You froze up. Well, I was trying to be cool. I was trying to be cool. If you didn't know he was famous, you would have chopped it up with him. Yeah, I probably been like, what do you do for a living? Wait, why is not coming up. This is awkward. He got it scrubbed. What, no. He didn't want to be in the same shirt. He was wearing, he was wearing that ugly ass Gucci shirt that I wore and and I mean it was it was a people were dunking on them for it but I guess it's not coming up anyway um yeah yeah I love Kyle McLaughlin are you kidding me yeah but I think
Starting point is 01:10:08 it's McLaughlin I think Kyle McLaughlin McLaughlin. I think it's McLaughlin McLaughlin. He says his name I googled it earlier McLaughlin yeah McLaughlin McLaughlin how to say yeah they're there top YouTube video right there I'm Kyle McLaughlin. I'm in the current hearing. McLaughlin. Yeah, McLaughlin. Anyway, yeah, so I sat next to Kyle McClackland.
Starting point is 01:10:32 Anyway, yeah, anyway, it was great. I almost said something to him. That's a go. I almost said something to him. I almost said something to him because he was, you had like an insurance. You had, when we were flying on fucking Chinese airlines
Starting point is 01:10:49 from one province to the next, Austin sat down to an older lady who, was a Westerner who was an American. So I guess there's like an opportunity to talk to chop it up there. But you spoke to this person about like the transformation of China over the last three decades.
Starting point is 01:11:07 Like she was like an insurance adjuster. Like, yeah, I remember that. Yeah, and you literally talk to her the entire fucking duration. I was right now. But Kyle McLaughlin was sitting next to you from fucking Portland, Oregon to Los Angeles.
Starting point is 01:11:19 And you didn't turn around and go, oh, wow, interesting. Like, I guess we're both famous or something. How we also tried to start with, I'm not a big plane chatter. Yeah, you are the number one plane chatter. I know. Well, I almost chatted with him
Starting point is 01:11:32 because we were coming in for a landing and he had it. For some reason, the flight tent did not tell him to put his tray away and he had a glass of wine sitting on his tray and I was like, oh my fucking God, if he doesn't grab this glass of wine,
Starting point is 01:11:44 it's going to shatter all and spill all over his red white pants, red wine on his white pants. And so I was like, just locked in. The plane was coming in. The plane was coming in. The plane was coming in. I was like,
Starting point is 01:11:54 I was like going through scenarios. I was like, am I going to grab it? Am I going to charge the cockpit and take it for another lap? Should I say, sir, sir, your glass? And like clockworked, like a professional, he put his tray away and he held the glass as he landed. So he was thinking of it too. But anyway. Well, ladies and gentlemen.
Starting point is 01:12:10 What a privilege it is to be back another week. Yes. And another week and another week. So now until infinity. Yes. Thank you for always joining us. We appreciate your time. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:12:20 She's touching me. And we'll see you behind the paywall if that's your kind of thing. Anyway, thank you so much. And we'll see you next with you. Patreon.com slash fear end. Peace. Bye. Whoa, is that a polymarket ad featuring Sydney Sweeney?
Starting point is 01:12:35 Or is that a wedding dress? Yeah, so I'm a B cup on a good day. I said you got honkers. You got memories. Why do you keep zooming in? I don't think it's going to. Where are you zooming? No, I'm just looking at, I love this part.
Starting point is 01:12:46 This is my favorite part. It's the only interesting part. So no shit. Let's look at the train. Okay. You can't see it. You can't see it. The train.
Starting point is 01:12:53 I didn't take more than one. I didn't take more than one picture. I didn't take more of one. How are you the gay one? I didn't, I didn't grow up that way. I told you that. I didn't do that queer shit. I'm trying, I'm trying.
Starting point is 01:13:06 I'm just being who I am. I don't know, I don't know wedding dresses. I'm not going to lie to you. I just said, I don't know what I think it looks great. I look it looks amazing.
