Apple podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. First day follow up. Javi is on the phone today for a first day follow up. And apparently he's getting ghosted by a girl named Trina. Oh no. I feel so sorry for him. I don't know why. I don't know anything about Trina. I just feel sorry for anybody getting ghosted. Yeah, it's a terrible thing to go through.

He actually said that he liked her a lot, but now she's not calling him back. And before we get into the date, Javi, how long has it been since you went out with Trina? It was going on a week and a half, like 10 days. Yeah, you know what? That was rude of me. I'm sorry. Hi, Javi. How are you? Yeah. I'm heartbroken. I'm heartbroken. Javi's a person too. Yeah. I didn't even say hi to you. I just right into it. But anyway, so it's been about a week and a half, you said. And how many times have you tried to get a hold of her since your date?

Three times one way and like one another. So like four. Okay. Well, what do you mean by that uh so i've shot her text like three times and then i was on facebook the other day and saw she was on so i shot her a message real quick to say you know what's up and right after i did that it showed that she logged off i don't know if well yeah yeah but i don't know if she logged off because i messaged her or if she was already like you know about to walk out the door or something. It's a coincidence, isn't it? Yeah.

I'm going to go ahead and say it might be because you texted her three times. She didn't answer. And then you saw that she was online. You're like, Hey, and she's like, bye. You know, that's kind of usually what happens. Think at the point, buddy. Yeah. But let's think positive.

She was headed out the door and she just logged off. She was busy. Yeah. She was busy, you know, so that's what we'll think for you, Javi. All right. Well, what did you guys do for your date? What did you and Trina do? So we met on Tinder, and we lived pretty much in the same neighborhood,

and we were talking how, you know, fall's around the corner, winter's around the corner, and we were talking about soup, and I told her that I can make a mean clam chowder. So she came over, and I made Bob Man's clam chowder. And did she seem to like it? Sounds like code or something. Yeah. Well, I mean, it was a little awkward.

My roommate was home, you know, when you're trying to have a date when there's a third wheel. But as soon as he left, you know, she seemed cool. And we just chilled and I made chowder and she helped. You know what I mean? Like, here, you cut this. I'll prep this. It was fun. She was funny. All right. So did you guys make anything more than chowder?

If you get my vibe? No, no. That sounds like code. Would you make more than chowder? Uh, I hope we didn't, I hope we didn't make anything, but we definitely practiced if you get my drift. I kind of get it okay you didn't make anything but you practiced so what you're saying is you guys hooked up yeah ding ding ding with all your chowder breath and everything gross fishy yeah I mean yes it's like you so you tell me it's like a 10 out of

10 in my book you make it soup one minute and then in the bedroom the next I mean and this is the first time you've hung out that's a 10 out of 10 in my book. You're making soup one minute and then in the bedroom the next. I mean. And this is the first time you've hung out. That's a very successful first date. So why do you think she's ghosting you? The only thing I can think of, like she didn't stay the night. She left pretty quick after. And when I woke up in the middle of the night, I like my stomach was tore up.

I was sick. So I don't know if it was like bad chowder. Like it feels like she got food poisoning. Like that's the only thing I could think of. Okay. Maybe. So maybe you're mean cup of chowder that you made her while you probably edible. You're mean chowder that you made her anyway,

you think may have made her sick. Just like it made you sick. Like, cause everything else was straight. You know what I mean? Like everything else was chill. So I hope, I hope that's the case. Like, you know, she mean like everything else was chill so I hope I hope that's the case

like you know she just feels bad that she got sick or something like I don't know yeah I mean I don't think that's a reason

to not call somebody back no I don't think so either because they're a terrible chowder cook unless you're I mean you're way too into chowder if that's the case

right you know or maybe you lied about it I don't know yeah alright well we'll play a song come back

and then call her and see if your nasty clams... Sorry, your nasty clams are the reason that she's not calling you back. Awesome, thank you. All right, we'll do it next. Your first day of follow-up

everything anyway this is the first date follow up where we call someone who where we try to help someone out who's getting ghosted and Javi is on the phone right now

and Javi makes a mean clam chowder at least that's what he told his date Trina they met on Tinder and they talked about soups and she came over to his place and he made her clam chowder and then they made clam chowder.

Yeah. Wink wink. If you know what I mean. And then she left and that's the last he's heard from her because she hasn't answered any of his phone calls. He actually also hit her up on Facebook and she logged off right when he said hi to her and he doesn't know why. He thinks that the possible reason he's not getting a call back could be the fact that he woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like he got food poisoning. So maybe he made clam chowder that made her sick as well. And he's not sure

if that's the reason he's not getting a call back. All right. We're going to try to get her on the phone right now and see if we can figure out what the reason is though that she's not calling you back. are you ready? yeah let's do it alright here we go I'm going to dial her phone up hello hi may I speak to Trina please yes this is she Trina, please? So if it is, do you know who would want us to get a hold of you? Yeah, I mean, there's only been one guy that I've been out with in the past few weeks, so I would say I'm 99% sure I know who this is. Well, let me ask you this. When's the last time you had some clam chowder? Oh, it's hobby.

And then I saw Ricky in a photo and it was his uncle. Whoa. It's not like you did it on purpose. I know, but like it's so weird. Like... Joachim,, what the f***? Like, how? In his garage. What?
