Denise is on the phone today for a first date follow up and she's not getting a call back from a dude named Eldridge. Sad. Yeah, and she doesn't know why. Apparently they met on Bumble and went roller skating. Hey Denise, before we talk about your date and see if we can figure out why Eldridge isn't calling you back, how long has it been since your date? It's been about a week. And how many times have you tried to reach out to good old Eldridge?

Only a couple times because I just, I don't know, it's embarrassing to do. I don't want to seem like I'm stalking him. Of course. Yeah, just little nudges here and there. Okay, and he's completely ghosted you? Totally ghosted me. Yeah, totally. Okay, well tell us about your date

and we'll see if we can figure it out before we call him. Okay, so we went roller skating, which was super sweet and romantic and cute and it was like the perfect way to sort of get to know somebody because we were holding hands, you know, we were,

I'm not good at anything that involves standing on skates or I'm terrible at. I was at a birthday party when I was younger, but it wasn't like a kid's birthday party. We were adults, but they had it at a roller rink, right? And I had a date with me, and I was like, well, let's try it, right? Went out there, and I fell, but I had her hand, and I fell, and I pulled her down, and she hit her head so hard, we had to leave. I pretty much gave her a concussion. I didn't mean to. So a roller skating date

would be bad for me. I traumatized. I just won't hold your hand. I mean, everything, I mean, honestly, everything went fine. I cannot think of one, one thing that,

that wasn't, wasn't good. If everything was perfect, then why do you think he's not calling you back? I mean, this is so weird. The only thing I can think about but i i still don't think this could be as you know afterwards you like unlace your socks i mean your socks you're in my shirt roller skates you take them

off and i basically my sock had like a huge hole oh my god and my big toe was like sticking through at the bottom it happened during it like they were posted didn't you see it at the beginning no no no they weren't like that in the beginning but when we took it off like my big toe and it looked really bad and i honestly hadn't gotten a pedicure because i didn't i didn't think that I was going to show it off my feet. So, like, my big toe is sticking through and it looks all fat and mangling. I mean, no matter what, you could have perfect feet,

but if you blew out the big toe and your big toe is hanging out of socks, it's not attractive. It's not. But that cannot be it. I mean, he could have a foot fetish, too. You know, he might like it. Yeah, you never know. No, if he has a foot fetish, then he may be, like, but that cannot be it. I mean, he could have a foot fetish, too. You know, he might like it. Yeah. Yeah, you never know.

It's true. No, if he has a foot fetish, then he may be, like, turned off by it, because I'm telling you, it looked weird. That's the only thing I can think of. That's the only thing I can think of. Okay, yeah, I mean, it could be that he looked down and saw that you busted your sock open, or maybe thought that you put on a sock with a hole in it, which would be a weird thing. He'd be like, man, she doesn't, her hygiene's probably not the best if she's

throwing on socks with holes in them all the time. Gross. Did you guys, like, did you say anything about it when you were, like, when you saw it? I mean, yeah, I kind of laughed about it. I'm like, oh my gosh, my sock broke. Yeah. I don't know if he believed me. Yeah, he's like, sure. Okay. All right. Your sock broke. That's the only thing that happened weird. I mean, everything else was perfect. I mean, I cannot, I can't imagine that would be enough, you know? Did the date end where you made plans to maybe see each other again or talk more?

Or was it just see you later and that's it? That was not see you later. I mean, I was totally under the impression that we were going to see each other again. Okay. I mean, because you blew out your sock, and that's the reason you think he's not calling you back, because according to you, the date was perfect.

And then you think he might not be calling you back because at the end of the date when you were taking off your skates, you realized that you had busted a hole in the big toe of your sock, and he might have seen that and thought it was gross. Well, yeah. I mean, I think maybe I busted it out because I wasn't good because I was bad. All right. Well, we're about to call Eldridge right now and see if we can figure out why he's not calling you back.

She said it was awesome. And she's wondering why you're not calling her back. I mean, I wouldn't put it that way. I mean, yes, I haven't called her back, but I'm not doing it on purpose. Like, there's nothing that she did wrong or, like, nothing happened that... You just didn't like her?

No, you know, it's not even that. I mean, do I tell you guys? Yes, we would love to know. Yeah, we would love to know. All right, so my sister's name is actually Denise. You know, actually, like, you know, to add this on, actually, we met on Bumble. I'm not sure if she told you. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. So on Bumble, her name is Didi. And so, you know, she seemed like a nice girl. You know, I'm there like, you know, swiping, you know, like, you know, looking at pictures. And, you know, we chatted a few times and we exchanged numbers. And, you know, we get pictures and, you know, we chatted a few times and we exchanged numbers and, you know, we get to the, to the roller skating arena and, you know, I think we were like ordering like, uh, like soda or something like, like food there or whatever. And, you know, I saw like her, I really quickly glanced at like her credit card or whatnot. And it said Denise.

And, you know, I thought to myself, Denise, like DD, like, what are the, you know, I never thought, you know, what are the chances? So she calls herself Dee Dee, but her full name is Denise. So Dee Dee's her nickname. Yeah, so I was just kind of thinking, like, you know, why didn't she mention to me that her name was Denise? I mean, it's really rare that people... You like the name Dee Dee, but you don't like the name Denise. No, I do not like the name Denise, guys. I agree. They do give off different vibes.

I mean, only if you think about it like that okay not i don't know guys i just i can't i can't look past it it's a i mean it sounds silly just like me hearing what i'm saying actually right now like oh i don't want to continue to date someone because she's you know named after my sister so that could be weird it's like a little

weird thing it's like one of those weird things you can't explain but it's real yeah exactly okay exactly so if it's okay guys i would appreciate if you guys just didn't mention anything to her because sure you know i haven't i haven't been answering like her text and like i don't know i mean i will eventually write we should find out and and we won't tell her because you kind of just did she's actually on the phone listening and heard everything you said and wants to talk to you. Uh, what? Wait, you guys are for real right now? Denise? Okay, this took a different turn.

Yeah? Hi. That is so crazy. So you're telling me that, like, you don't want to go out with me because my name is Denise? Your name is Eldridge. Yeah, I mean, I'm sorry.

I just, I don't know. I just, I can't. I can't get past it. I mean, you know, when I say your name, I'm going to think about my sister or, like, I don't know. I mean, you know, when I say your name, I'm going to think about my sister or like, I don't know what, if we like double date one day with like my sister and her boyfriend, like I'm going to say your name and then my sister's going to think that I'm calling her. Okay. Let me get this straight. So you don't want to date me because of my name? Correct. Yes. I, as, as stupid as that sounds, I can't get past it. It's just, I don't know, it's like stuck in my head.

Okay, so like somebody named Eldridge has no business not dating somebody because of their name. Like, come on, are you dating Eldridge? I was just like blew past you because of your name. But I gave you a name. Well, I'm not trying to be mean, but I mean, Eldridge, I mean, it sounds like, you know, like you're in a civil war or something. To me, you sounded like a Hall of Fame basketball player from the 70s. Yeah, well, let me tell you something. I mean, I agree with you. I agree with you. Unfortunately, I wasn't the one that chose my name.

So I think about that all the time. That's why I changed mine. Well, Denise led me on with Needy. I mean, honestly honestly i don't even care about the name i don't like i'm fine your name is eldridge i can totally get used to that and i was just i wasn't trying to be mean i just well okay think about this if you just had if you were dating someone who had the same name as your brother would that not be weird for you yeah i mean i could totally get past it i'll just ask you the question eldridge eldridge would you like to go on another date with denise or didi we'll pay for it what if denise uses like a nickname instead of calling herself denise she's called herself didi yeah so um i mean i would be i would be interested actually like but only if i can call her by

like another name or like lately changed her name or maybe like her i don't know if she had i don't know if you have like a middle name but we had a lot of fun you know like we had great conversations you know we skated didi what's your middle name okay my middle name is christine oh no guys that's my that's my mom's name actually what are you serious i'm just kidding.
