So in a few minutes, we'll call him and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her a second date. But first, Angelica, why do you think you're getting ghosted? I think I quoted the office too many times. Like the show The Office?

Yeah. Okay. That's a classic though. But why? Like, yeah. But too many, like how much were you quoting the office on your date? I mean, to be honest, I memorized about. about 20 quotes from the office.

Okay. You just rotated them? You memorized 20 quotes from the office, like just to use them in your life every day or for the day? Well, no. So, I mean, we met on Hinge. And to be honest, I mean, he was so hot. I was like, I don't think we're going to match. But it matched me back.

And on his profile, it said that his favorite show was the office. So I was like, I need to impress this guy. So I memorized the 20 quotes from the show. Aw. That's cute. Well, yeah, but now I'm really in my head about it. You know, I thought he thought it would be funny. And now I'm like, maybe I went overboard.

And yeah. Were you just trying to work them in into every exchange you guys had during the date? Like, you think it got annoying and weird? I mean, maybe because he definitely recognized. whenever I did them and I mean I did have quite a lot on just on hand okay how did the date end did it end well yeah I mean I thought it went well you know um nothing out of the ordinary I thought it would I thought it went really well okay so then all this could be the hold up huh did he at least hit you back with any kind of quotes did he seem like it was funny

Yeah, I mean, he definitely laughed in everything. And then we would talk about the show for a little bit. You know, I thought it was flowing. But, you know, again, now I'm in my head because that's not something I would do on any day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. She's not calling me back.

Angelica, why don't you remind us why you think you're getting ghosted again? Because I think I quoted the office way too many times. Okay. So cute. Because you saw it was one of his favorite TV shows, so you memorized a bunch of lines from the office and think you may have overdone it. Yeah, I just really wanted it to go well and to impress him,

All right. What are you calling? Well, we're calling you today because we do a segment on the show and it's called the first date follow up. That's where if you go out on a date with somebody and you end up ghosting them, that person can email us to ask why you're ghosting them. And so somebody wants us to call you. This must be about Angelica, right? Okay. Yes, it is about Angelica.

Good thing or bad thing? Yeah. We talked to her a little bit about your date. She said she really liked you. She's confused. Would you mind telling us why you're ghosting her? Yeah, I really liked her, but her ex kept texting her all night. How do you know? She was every five minutes. She kept bringing out her phone and constantly texting back and forth.

I'm sorry, I just need to send him text real quick. And you knew. And I was like, you knew it was her ex? Yeah. She was texting every five minutes. And eventually I just asked. And I was like, why, who are you texting? And she said it was her ex. Sorry, it was something real quick. and she texted and put the phone down, but it was like the entire evening. Oh, that's weird.

Okay. Did she say why her ex was texting her? No, she didn't. Like, it was the whole night. And it's important because I asked to tell you, I was really cool. I had a great time with her. She was actually quoting the office the whole night, which was hilarious because that's my favorite show. Oh, wow.

That's random, huh? That you guys both like the show enough where she was quoting it? That's cool. That's great. She knew like, she knew so many lines. It was hilarious. Yeah, that's cool. Well, thank you for being honest with Mason.

I appreciate that. And now I'll be honest with you. Angelica is on the phone listening and wants to talk to you. Okay. Hi. Hey, Angelica. Hello. Hi.

Hi. Okay. So I just heard everything. And honestly, like, I think that there's just the wrong image being painted. I want to explain, like, yes, that was my ex. But honestly, like, there's really nothing there at all. So, like, I'm totally good. I'm single.

I'm interested. Well, why were you texting him all night? Yeah. Because you can see how that's kind of uncomfortable. No, I know. I know. And I felt that, to be honest. The thing is, my ex, he cheated on me. And ever since then, like, I left and he's been trying to get me back. But honestly, like, once he did that, it completely cut off all my feelings for him. I have nothing that I want to do with him anymore. Like, I really just want him to go away. So he just keeps texting you and you respond every time he text you. I don't know what to believe.

I mean, Angelica, I don't want any drama, okay? Like, you were texting him the entire night. Like, if y'all aren't together, why would you keep texting? Why would you keep answering? You know, I don't want to be with you, and then you end up getting back with your ex. I don't need that. Honestly, as soon as he realizes that I did not steal his car, he will talk about. What?

What? What is steal his car? Angelica, what are he talking about? Well, honestly, after he cheated, I did freak out a little bit, and I did threaten to steal the car, but it was really an empty threat. Oh, no, but listen, it was really ironic because then somebody actually did steal his car. No way. No, no, no, no, no, but it wasn't me, and he's, like, threatening to call the cops and everything. But honestly, like, if he does, the cops are going to see, I didn't steal it.

Like, I did not steal it. Okay. So, for clarification, so to get clarification, for Mason that, you know, who's on the phone right now that you went out with, he thinks you stole his car, so that's why your ex has been texting you so much. But once you can prove that you didn't steal a car, you're sure he's going to go away. Yes, like, Mason, I swear, not only do I 100% not want to be with Alex, my ex, but like I would actually really like to go out with you again.

Honestly, I'll even leave my phone at home if that's what it takes. Mason, would you like to go out with Angelica again? for it. She's not a car thief. Yeah, I mean, there's proof of her not being a car thief. I mean, I do like how much she likes the office. I think almost as much as I do. So, yeah, I would be in for another day.
