I remember you thinking that.
Listen to Podlandia.
A.A.O. Rewatch on the IHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Excuse me, shuddy.
You know where I can find some booty?
Jubel's call of booty.
It's time for a brand new call of booty.
And Sam is on the phone.
He wants to see if he can get his wife to leave her job and meet him for a call of booty.
But remember, it's not dirty.
He can't say anything.
or tell her exactly what he wants to do.
He's got to try to convince her to leave her job using a ridiculous theme that will give him in just a second to first see if he can get her to understand what he's talking about and then see if she'll actually leave her job to meet him for a call of booty.
But before we do that, we got to find out about the situation.
So Sam, you want to call your wife?
Where does she work?
Yeah.
My wife, she works as a librarian.
A librarian?
Are they really quiet and studious and whatnot?
Oh, yeah, 100%.
So it would be great.
Cool.
Okay.
Have you ever tried to call her to leave her job as a librarian to meet you for this type of thing before?
Not really.
I kind of don't, like, bother her at work, but this seems like such a good opportunity.
I'm like, I have to jump on this.
It's one of those jobs where you don't really want to get bothered at, too.
It's all supposed to be hush, hush and quiet, you know?
It's going to be perfect, exactly.
I feel like it could go either way with a librarian.
I don't know many librarians, but I feel like either.
they're just, you know, very, um, innocent and like would be just like, um, uh, shocked and that
you would want them to leave the job to do this or they'll just be like a freak and be like,
yeah, come out, come down here and do it on a book cart, you know?
Yeah, no, she's never much more of a wholesome person, but there have been times where she
had completely surprised me. So I'm really hoping we're going to see that today.
Okay. And what's their schedule like? Can she just like leave if she wants to?
Not really. And she's,
She loves her job, so getting her to just leave it for this is going to be a challenge.
But I'm feeling pretty good about it.
I think we can do it.
Well, we'll see how you feel when we give you the theme, because remember, you can't be dirty about it and you can't say exactly what you want to do.
But since she's a librarian, you have to call her and see if you can get her to leave her job and meet you for a booty call, sounding like a Dr. Seuss book.
Oh, wow.
Oh, God.
All right.
Have you read a bunch of Dr. Seuss?
Do you think you're going to be able to do that?
Or do you need to go look up some stuff?
Yeah.
I mean, it's been a minute since I've read any Dr. Seuss,
but I think we all know enough.
I think I'll be able to.
All right.
And if you're just joining us, Sam is on the phone
and he's about to call his wife, Jordan,
who's working as a librarian right now
and ask her if she'll leave her job
to come meet him for a call of booty.
But remember, he can't say anything dirty
or blatant about what he wants to do.
He has to do it in the theme of a Dr. Seuss books
since she's a librarian.
Sam, you feel like you're ready to go?
Yep, I'm ready to do it.
All right.
So good luck.
And remember, we'll jump in to save you if you need it.
But hopefully you can somehow sound like a Dr. Seuss book can convince her to leave her job.
I'm going to dial her phone number right now.
Times Street Library.
This is Jordan.
going to help you.
Hi, baby.
It's Sam.
I am, and I don't need green eggs or ham, but I do have a wiggle in my waddle, a fiddle in my stick.
Maybe for the rest of the day, you could leave work and tell them that you're sick.
What?
What?
Are you high?
I'm serious.
I'm serious.
If you just come to me, we can.
can noodle by the noodle tree because my love, you get my heart bouncing like a jumping bean.
And I was just thinking we could bippity boppity do the nasty pants dance all afternoon.
Wow.
That's pretty good.
Oh, my gosh.
Sam.
Sam, are you okay?
Are you serious?
Are you all right?
Can you leave work soon to come and rescue?
years, Snuggle Baboon. I promise to make you swoon, to take you to new heights, higher than
the moon. If only you can tell your boss to shove it, I've gotten ugly and I need you to bump it.
Oh, yeah, no, no, that's fine. Right, right. I'll be right there. No, I'm just down with my husband. Yeah.
Okay. I'll see in the kitchen. Yeah. Bye. Oh, my gosh.
There are so many people around me right now.
This is so awkward.
Sam is so sad.
Sam is so blue.
Sam is at home with no one to do.
Oh, my God.
Could you just leave work now even for a short visit?
A quick in and out?
Sam.
Sam.
Sam, listen to me.
I'm really busy.
And I don't know why you're trying to do this, like, talking like Dr. Seuss, you know, like a Dr. Seuss book.
But...
Whoa.
Okay.
So is that a yes?
A yes to my question?
Because if so, it sounds like you're getting the sniffles and want to come home to the love doctor for a quick injection.
Baby.
I really can't leave today.
But,
wait, hang on.
Sam is hanging, wondering why,
hoping you're about to say that you're on your way
to snuggle his what's-fit and touch all his widgets
because he misses his little spinner and can't wait to fidget.
Oh, my boy.
You are ridiculous.
I had to move to another area.
Okay.
I'm sorry that.
Are you coming home?
Are you coming home?
Are you working?
No, listen to me.
Are you going to talk to me?
Okay.
All right.
What I was living, my boss just walked by.
My boss just walked by.
Listen to me.
What I was saying was, I can't.
today, but maybe we could plan it out and even get like a cat in the hat costume or something
and even do this little game next Thursday.
Because listen to me, Tessa is going to be on vacation that day.
So it's easier for me to leave.
But my boss is walking past me now.
I have to get off the phone.
Hey, Jordan, don't get off the phone just yet.
How are you?
This is actually a radio show.
It's called The Jubal Show.
Hi, mine is Victoria.
And my name is Jubal.
How are you?
Oh.
are you kidding me?
No, we do a segment on a show that's called Call A Booty
where you have to see if you can convince your significant other
to leave their job and meet you for a booty call,
but you have to use the theme that we give you.
And since you're a librarian, we told Sammy
he has to do it like a cat in the hat book.
And Sam, you nailed it.
It did a great job.
He's really good.
Thank you, thank you.
I'm going to get fired.
I'm going to get fired.
Well, Sam, what do you think?
You want to get a cat in the hat?
Hey.
I'm totally down for Catana Hot.
That's totally fine by me.
So that's what you want to pay for Bill.
All right.
I'm Nick Totoro.
