The Jubal Show on demand. First date follow-up. Cole is on the phone today for a first date follow-up, and he's not getting a call back from Gianna. Aw. Poor Cole. Aw, Gianna. Yeah, so we're going to try to help get Cole another date.

Cole, before we get to your date, how long has it been since your date with Gianna? It's been a little under a week. How many times have you tried to reach out to her since your date? All right, so normal. Well, before we get into your date, why don't you tell us a little bit about Gianna? Yeah, we met because I was selling a dresser on Craigslist. Okay. We met at a... Wait, you met her on Craigslist um she uh we we met at a um well you met her on craigslist well casual yeah people still do that that's why me and my ex broke up oh lord oh wow uh was it uh casual encounters no it was uh it was a legitimate uh furniture sale okay so so yeah yeah we met we met uh in a public uh you know like park and ride places It was a legitimate furniture sale. Okay, so you were selling dresses.

So yeah, yeah. We met in a public, you know, like park and ride places. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. She got out of her car and was incredible looking. I don't know, 100 bucks, which I thought was, I don't know, like kind of hot a little bit. Like she was real confident, real assertive. Yeah, be like be like damn go get her yeah absolutely you know it's what she wants for free and then uh i turned that hundred off

into uh an opportunity to ask her out and uh to my big surprise she said yes how'd you turn that into an opportunity to ask her out what do you mean uh well i just said if you get 100 bucks off at least let me ask you out i put it that way way. So it wasn't like a contingent, you know, she didn't have to go out with me. So obligated. And to let me ask. Yeah, obligated. So she felt obligated to go out with you. So she said yes, we went to dinner.

The next night we met at the restaurant and it was loud, but we, I don't know, we had a good time. We were laughing and then all of a sudden she just kind of, her mood switched and she took off. She left? Yeah, she just, she, like literally we were sitting there, we were talking about MMA, we both like MMA. How do you find a woman who's beautiful?

So yeah, we were sitting there chatting, and it was, like, very, very sudden. We were talking about how she's a lawyer. All of a sudden, her mood kind of shifted. She put 50 bucks on the table and walked away. I had no idea what happened. The hell? You must have done something.

I must have done something, but i genuinely don't know what it was like the moment her mood changed what happened the minute the moment that you noticed her mood change there was a guy in the booth i didn't know if maybe there was a guy who came in and sat in the booth kind of behind her and he had three ipads set up like comes to a like a pretty nice restaurant sits down and sets up three iPads. I don't know what he was doing. Okay. I had no clue.

I kind of made a comment about him. She glanced back and then I was like, well, don't let the weirdo notice you looking at him. She, yeah, her mood changed. Oh, maybe she knew him. That's kind of, that's what, I wondered if maybe that's what it was, but then, and in that case, I understand her wanting to get out of there. If it's like a creepy ex or, I mean, I don't know what a guy with three iPads does. Is that a stalker? Is that stalker behavior?

Yeah, that is like a PI. But she gets up and she leaves, but then why wouldn't she pick up, like, why wouldn't she text me and be like, hey, I had to get out of there that I knew that. Like, I don't know, some sort of explanation there would have been appreciated after she left right away. Did you text her and call her and be like, hey, where why'd you do that? I mean, I called her immediately right then. And she, you know, clicked me to voicemail. Wow. And then I kind of let it sit a day, called her again, rang a few times, went to voicemail. Wow. went to voicemail and then I texted her. Wow. We'll see if we can figure it out for you. I mean, obviously you did something. Yeah. I really want to know. Me too. I want to know who that guy with three iPads is at a restaurant.

All right, we'll play a song, come back and then call her and see if we can figure out what happened and why she just bailed on your date. And we'll see if we can get you another date if you want one after you hear why, okay? Yeah, okay. All right.

who's on the phone for a first date follow-up. He's not getting a call back from a woman named Gianna. He went on a date with her. He thought that she was awesome. They were bonding. He said she's beautiful, cool, lawyer. Like he's all this stuff that he liked about her.

And then in the middle of the date, her mood changed. And then she just got up, put 50 bucks on the table and left and hasn't talked to him since. And he doesn't know why. The mystery we want to figure out though is the moment he noticed her mood change, Cole had noticed that there was a guy in a booth somewhere in like behind her in the restaurant that had three ipads on the table and just himself eating in a nice restaurant weird as hell and so cole was like hey look at that dude

with the three ipads she turned around to look at him and then after that that's when that's exactly the moment that her mood changed yeah and so we want to figure out why. Well, I'd love to know why that dude had three iPads at a restaurant like that. And also, I want to know why it offended her so much. Yeah. We're about to call her right now, see if we can figure out why, and then maybe get Cole another date.

Okay, here we go. hello hi how are you this is the jubile show it's a radio show my name is jubile my name is alex and i'm christian grace now and we were looking for gianna oh this is her we are calling you because we do a segment on our show called the first date follow-up that's where if you go on a date with somebody and then end up ghosting them, they can email us to get you on the phone and ask what happened. And we got an email about you from Cole.

Oh, okay. And Cole said he really liked you, and he told us about your date, and he said that you just left. You put $50 on the table and bounced on the date and he doesn't know why and he wanted us to ask you what happened because he's curious. Uh,

well, um, I left because Cole is a judgmental asshole. Oh, really? Yeah, and that's why I'm not calling him back

because he's a... Oh, gosh. What do you mean judgmental and i mean things are going good he seemed nice and all and then all of a sudden he just started being mean started being mean explain just that's all i'm not interested in going on another date with him we want to know though we. We're dying to know. What did he do? Because he thought that y'all were having a good time until, you know, you end up leaving, so. He makes fun of the handicapped.

That's all I have to say. What? Out come, you know. What do you, okay, what do you mean by that, though? I'm not interested in talking about this anymore. Since you're not interested in talking about it anymore, I do have to let you know that Cole is on the phone listening and wants to talk to you about it.

Hi, Gianna. Please don't hang up. Please, no, no, no, hang on. I don't know what you're talking about. When did I make fun of anybody being handicapped? I would never do that. I don't know what you're talking about. Please, I don't remember making fun of anybody except for the iPad guy.

Oh, yeah, that's right. You wouldn't make fun of a handicapped person because you even said at the restaurant, you don't consider people with eye patches to be real people. Huh? What? What are you talking about? What? Yeah, you don't remember telling me to look at the guy with the eye patch

and mocking him and saying that he shouldn't even be allowed in the restaurant? That was so f***ing rude. iPads. iPads. What? A man came in with three iPads, not an eye patch. Oh, my God.

I know not. Are you guys serious? Yeah, no. You told me to look over my shoulder and look at that guy with an eye patch. And so I looked over my shoulder and there was an old man eating with an eye patch. And you just made fun of him. And I didn't know why. No, the restaurant was very loud. And i think maybe you just didn't hear me

correctly i i was not i was not talking about the old i didn't even notice an old guy with an ipad i don't care about that that's not weird that's cute that's sweet so it was a misunderstanding it sounds like it there was a guy behind you with three ipads it was ipads he had several ipads not just one ipad but several iPads. Did you not see the iPads, Gianna? Did you not see the guy with the iPads? No, I saw the guy with an iPatch. What are the chances there's a guy with three iPads?

That's the worst luck ever. What in the world? So you're not getting called back because she thought you were making fun of an old guy with an eyepatch, but you were actually talking about a guy who had three iPads. And you weren't. It sounds like. I was not. I was not. I promise I

was not. Maybe he was just too far in the other direction behind you. I try and you didn't see him, but I promise you, I promise you, I would not make fun of an old man eating alone wearing an eye patch.

That's just not who I am. That's hilarious, though. That's so mean. That's horrible timing. I am very sorry that even for a moment you believe that of me, let alone for a week.

Gianna, are you there? I'm curious if she believes this. Do you believe him that he was talking about a guy with iPads and not an eye patch and it was loud and maybe you misheard him and there happened to actually be a guy with an iPatch there too that you saw? I will go back to that restaurant and I will find the security footage. I don't know. It seems too coincidental. I don't buy it. I kind of have to agree with her.
