This just in.
On The Jeeble Show,
the actor who played the principal
in Saved by the Bell,
has passed away.
Because this time, well, the bell wasn't around.
Oh, my God.
See how easy it is to create fake news?
That's why every single week we're bringing you the cleverly named segment.
Real news or fake news,
where I give you a news story from the week that's gone viral.
And you have to tell me if it's a real news story or a fake one that people actually believed.
Here is your first headline for real news or fake news.
McDonald's is now using AI to figure out how much you'll pay for a Big Mac.
McDonald's is beginning to test artificial intelligence to help determine how much it can charge you for food.
The company is rolling out a new AI-powered price technology that can analyze enormous amounts of information,
including what customers are buying, local competition, restaurant costs, sales patterns,
and what people in different markets will pay.
In other words, instead of somebody at McDonald's simply deciding a Big Mac's costs $6, a computer will determine that.
Apparently, the system uses facial recognition also, and if it recognizes,
as a person, it knows their spending habits and will adjust the menu accordingly.
That's terrible.
So if you like to ball out, that Big Mac could soon cost you $60.
Is it a real new story or a fake new story, Nina?
I'm going to go with Real.
I do think it's real.
All right.
Victoria, real or fake?
McDonald's is testing an AI technology that can charge individual customers differently
based on what they purchase.
I'm going to say fake.
They can't do that.
Not my Ronald.
Producer Free is real or fake.
I want to say they should make technology that actually gives you the price of what the product costs to make.
But I'm going to say that's real.
Same as real.
That is a real news story.
What?
AI is crazy.
And they have all your information, too.
So if it does the facial recognition thing, it knows your spending habits because you've probably logged on and given permission with something else.
So it's like, oh, they spend this much on food on Amazon.
They can afford 30 bucks for a big Mac.
Dude.
You're not crazy.
That makes you being frugal, like, really pay off now.
Yeah.
But not only that, but I used to use the app.
Dude, they got dollar fries, large fries, like so often in college.
And now you're saying you're going to track that and cost me more?
Well, no, if you stay there.
The dollar menu.
What happened?
If you stay living off the dollar menu, you should be safe, right?
Am I understanding that correctly?
They're going to see how many times I use it and now charge me $2 for that dollar money.
Oh, I thought they were going to adjust it and make it more expensive if you were buying more expensive things.
Oh, no.
Got it.
Got it, got it.
Here's your next headline for real news or fake news is the segment where I give you a news headline for the week that's gone viral.
You have to tell me if it's a real one or a fake one that people actually believed.
Gucci is selling bottles of mouthwash for hundreds of dollars.
Stop it right now.
Gucci is now selling bottles of mouthwash for hundreds of dollars.
Except it's not exactly what the headline would lead you to believe.
But apparently a shipment of Gucci Cologne was stolen and was replaced with mouthwash.
And so people online who have found it from third-party sites,
have been ordering Gucci Cologne
and it shows up and it's mouthwash.
How much are those bottles? Like $500?
Yes, hundreds of dollars.
Oh, wow.
So if you are searching for Gucci Cologne online,
probably best if you use the actual website.
Otherwise, you might just end up with a bottle of mouthwash.
Oh, my gosh, I believe this.
And what do the criminals do with the other, like the actual Cologne?
All they got to do is buy the bottles.
I guess they put it in different bottles.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I'm going to go with this.
This is real.
Real news?
You think that's real?
I do.
I bought a bottle of bottles.
rockerot once and when I time I got it I don't know what it smelled like like it smelled like poop
no and I didn't know how to get a refund so I definitely no this is real buy it off the store
website or go in store and smell it before you purchase it when you're spending that much money on fragrance
because you'll get a bunch of stamp free samples that way too you do Victoria real or fake a
a I mean Gucci's too much of a high store they can't she's not the one doing it though
Somebody stole a bunch of Gucci stuff and replaced it with mouthwash.
You know this is real.
Hundreds of people have reported buying it.
Okay.
Yeah.
Is it real or fake?
I think it's real.
Yeah, it's absolutely real.
Be careful.
Otherwise, you can end up with just a $500 bottle of mouthwash.
This is a PSA because people are scamming everywhere.
Imagine spraying yourself for a night out and you smell like mint.
I mean, that's the worst.
So, yeah, some people are probably into that.
Yeah, probably just smell bad, you know.
I don't know.
Mouthwash?
Yeah.
When you're looking for Gucci?
Clean and fresh.
That's the best part if they're like, ooh, Gucci switched it up.
Here's your next headline for real news or fake news,
the segment where I give you a news story from the week that's gone viral.
And you have to tell me if it's a real news story or a fake one that people actually believed.
Amazon Alexa is being super creepy and nobody knows why.
Sick.
Amazon Alexa is being super creepy and nobody knows why.
Amazon says it's investigating a bizarre new issue after Alexa owners around the country have reported that their device.
are speaking to them in the middle of the night without being prompted.
Oh.
According to posts spreading all across TikTok, Reddit, and other websites, users say their Alexa devices suddenly lit up at exactly 317 in the morning and whispered the same four words from each report.
It begins at 317.
Oh, my God.
So Alexa just wakes up in the like, it begins at 317.
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
I'm throwing my unit out the window.
Videos have also surfaced showing the phenomenon and have gone viral
with some users saying that it's happened multiple nights in a row.
And naturally, the internet is handling it very calmly
that Alexa is now just waking up at 317 in the morning
and telling you it begins.
What is it?
Everything.
People have started unplugging their Alexa devices before bed,
while conspiracy theories range from a hacked Amazon server
to emergency warning systems being tested without the public.
knowledge, Amazon has reportedly issued a statement saying it's aware of the reports and
currently does not know what's causing the devices to activate and say it begins at 317 and
they're investigating.
So ominous.
What is it?
The company also says there's currently no evidence that the devices have been compromised,
which is reassuring.
Okay.
Except for the part where your robot wakes up at 317 in the morning whispers, it begins at 317.
You just have to own it at this point.
Like, we know something's wrong.
Join them.
Why not?
This is a real new story or a fake new story, Nina?
I'm going to say real.
It feels like it's one of those bot families that hacked it.
Like those swarm, what do they call them?
Those little bot communities, the swarms, they got in there and they're like, watch this.
It's begun.
Okay.
Victoria, is this a real new story or a fake news story?
This is fake.
Is it waking up on its own at 317 in the morning and telling people it begins at 317.
This is fake.
I have it, Alexa.
And let me tell you, if they did that, I'd be awake at that point.
I'm not making to work a little more.
That's a lie.
You didn't want to include you, that's why.
You're saying it's fake.
Producer Free's real or fake.
Yeah, Alexa is being super creepy.
Nobody knows why, including Alexa.
I think it's real.
You're thinking that it's real?
This is a fake news story.
Yes.
Yes.
I know.
Why did I want it to be real?
Yeah, but people do believe that it's real because people have been posting videos because
it's October now.
Yeah.
Oh.
And Halloween.
And it's showing Alexa waking up at doing that, but people are believing that it's actually real, so they've been freaking out.
You know, you can't believe anything that you see.
Hello.
Don't we know this already?
I would say, you're just now learning that, girl.
I mean, that got me.
I believe it.
I did believe it.
Don't you already wake up that early in the morning?
Yeah, but I don't have an Alexa in my bedroom.
Actually, I don't have an Alexa.
So.
Oh, sorry.
Me neither.
Really?
Guys, you should get one.
They're pretty good.
Yeah, they don't work.
You don't get to work on time.
Well, if it won't get to work the morning, maybe then I would a little bit more.
I'll try calling you tomorrow.
And your next headline for real news or fake news.
If your man is grumpy, he might have IMS.
What is that?
Is it like IBS?
If you've ever wondered why some guys get a little grumpier with age,
apparently there's a term for it now.
It's called irritable male syndrome or IMS.
And it's a collection of symptoms often associated with age-related testosterone decline.
Of course, it's not an official diagnosis,
but doctors and psychologists say it's a useful way to describe
changes in some men that they experience
as they get older. So if men
your life is getting older and they seem a little
testy, it might be because they're not getting the
right amount of stuff to their testes.
And they have IMS. Is that
a real news story or a fake news story, Nita.
I'm going real.
Victoria, real news story or fake news story?
Irritable male syndrome is a thing.
So funny. Producer Freeze
is irritable male syndrome an actual
thing. I think I suffer. I think I have it.
True. It's a
real news story. They're not
telling it IMS.
Wait, so does IMS stay around, like, consistently, like how we have PMS and then you guys
have IMS, but IMS just never goes away.
I'll let you know.
Oh, shoot.
I'll let you know in a couple months.
Okay, cool.
Remember, if you miss anything on the show, you can always check out the podcast.

Or the free Iheart radio app.

where you're going to get it.
Ever, ever.
And that is real.
Yeah.
That is 100% real.
I see what she used.
It's not big news.
Everything we say all the show is real.
Everything.
Yeah.
That's like real news.
That's where I get my news.
This is America's number one news source.
Yeah.
I also read that the other day too.
Yeah.
Where'd you read it?
When news breaks, we fix it.
Yay.
That should be our new slogan.
What was it?
When news breaks, we fix it.
Yeah, we do.
That's funny.
It's another jubble phone frame.
Weekday mornings on the 20s.
Yeah, hi, this is Pete Eakins calling from Dog Lounge.
I was looking for Aaron, whose little dog pickle is here with us for the day.
Oh, yes, this is Aaron?
Is everything okay?
Actually, no, calling to say that you need to come pick him up immediately.
There's been a little bit of an incident.
What happened?
Is he okay?
Well, yeah, I think he's fine.
It's the other dogs that are not doing very well.
And so, yeah, we need you to come back.
What do you mean? What happened?
Oh, well, I'm, we didn't realize it.
But your little pickle, your pooch is, oh, how do I say this?
A little self-absorbed.
My dog is self-absorbed?
Yes.
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
What does that mean?
Well, it started off this morning not good at all after you dropped him off.
One of our other clients was playing with the ball and he dropped it.
And then your little pickle came over, grabbed the ball and ran off.
and yeah, that's not very nice at all.
I mean, that's just like normal dog stuff.
What's the issue?
Oh, yeah, that kind of behavior does start in the home.
So, yeah, anyway, I don't really think I need to.
Yeah, we play with balls in the house.
What do you, what are you talking about?
Right, yeah, except it's not respecting other dogs property.
Is this the only thing that happened is that he took a ball from another dog?
No, actually there's been a bigger problem.
He's sort of taking a liking to one of the other dogs.
They keep running around together, and they are excluded.
all of the other dogs from playing with them.
I actually sat both of them down and had a long talk with them.
I said, hey, you guys just seem to be playing with each other here.
We need to include everybody because some dogs are going to get their feelings hurt.
And, you know, again, we don't want to have to deal with the emotional baggage of your dog only caring about himself.
You're supposed to understand any of that.
He doesn't speak in full sentences.
What are you talking about?
Most of our dogs here seem to do a pretty good job of that.
I don't know.
Maybe it's maybe I'm just picking up on the.
the fact that you don't seem to accept any responsibility.
Is there someone else I can talk to?
Is there a manager or something?
Because this is unacceptable.
Dog might have narcissistic personality disorder.
I'm not really sure.
I'm going to come get my dogs.
I'm going to expect a full refund.
And this is not going to go well for your business.
Like, this is not how you treat dogs.
Well, I think.
I don't know what's going on.
I've been coming to you guys for a long time.
This is ridiculous.
I've never heard of this.
What are you m-mming about?
Mm-hmm.
Oh, I, I've,
I was just waiting until you were done.
Mm-hmm.
I'm sorry?
Yeah.
Well, other than those infractions, no, but I really don't appreciate your tone because I'm trying to be an advocate.
You don't appreciate my phone.
Mm-hmm.
I don't appreciate a company that is supposed to be caring for dogs, not understanding basic dog behavior.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
Try to be an advocate for dogs who don't have a voice.
That's what I'm trying to do.
I don't even know how to respond that.
This is the most ridiculous thing I thought.
Hey, Aaron, this is actually Jubal from the Jubal show doing a phone prank on you.
And your friend James set you up.
Oh, my God.
It's a joke.
He said you'd freak out if anything happened to your dog at daycare and wanted to mess with you.
Oh, my God.
If you had me one more time, I was going to strangle you through the phone.
Wake up every morning with Jubal phone pranks.
Weekday mornings on the 20s.

We should tell them about our new show.
Oh my God, Lexi.
We have a new podcast.
It's called Don't Lie to Me.

We're two best friends, 22 years apart, but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa DiGulio, the old one, which means we have wildly different references,

Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.
Liar.

What would change if you stopped letting money stress run your life, sis?
I'm Mandy Money, host of Brown Ambition,
the podcast. And right now, I'm taking you through my six-part money reboot series. This is your

motivation to stop putting your financial goals on hold. So if you've been saying, I'll get serious
about money next month. This is your sign. Start now. Listen to Brown Ambition. That's Brown
Ambition and begin your money reboot today. Listen to Brown Ambition on the Iheart Radio app, Apple
podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Is there an epidemic against literature? More specifically,
Black literature. Our books are being banned, scanned by AI, and destroyed. I'm Jackquist Peace Thomas,
and on this season of the Blacklit podcast, we're outside asking some of the custodians of our
stories, teachers, and our modern day writers. Why? They don't want a whole bunch of little
Ella Bakers, Michael Maxes and Martin Luther King running around. They want to build children who
have no empathy. That's really the ultimate goal. We want books that don't make white kids feel bad.
So is the war on literacy and information or our ability to connect?
We want people to know how sexy reading is and how fun they could be
and not always associated with education.
It could be an escape.
It could be entertainment.
And that is the beauty of reading.
It can be all of those things.
And considering this is Black Reading Month,
the only real question is, what are you reading next?
Listen to Black Lit from the Black Effect Podcast Network on our eye-harmes.
Heart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast.
Give us three minutes and we'll give you everything you need to know for the day.
It's time for Nina's what's trending.
There's a new song that you need to know that could actually save your life.
Oh.
I'll tell you what it is so you can make sure to save your life or those around you in just a second.
But first, how do you feel about going to your favorite restaurant and having the option
phones or no cell phones or no cell phones sections?
Like back in the day, it was like smoking or non.
Phones are non.
Interesting.
That is a new movement that some people are trying to make happen in some restaurants.
And some restaurants have already implemented it.
Yeah, I kind of like it.
So, well, like, what if you're, like, out on a date and, like, your babies are at home and you got to, like, talk to the babysitter or something like that?
Who wants the phone or no phone thing?
Like, other people, do other people get bothered by other people being on their phones?
Yeah.
That's why you're given the option to have a non-phone section.
I understand why you care if someone is speaking loudly or they're, like, watching a Netflix show with the phone.
them up. Like those instances make sense.
But if someone's just at their table
and you don't know them and they're on their phone,
who cares?
Yeah, it's not like smoking a cigarette where the smoke is coming over here.
But I do believe you that people get super annoyed with that probably,
but also like, hey, I think it's fine.
You know, whatever. Let that person do whatever they do
if they're not hurting anybody and they're on their phone.
But apparently it's become such a thing that even some restaurants
are starting to have incentive for people to choose the non-phone sections.
Like you'll get free dessert.
Oh, heck yeah.
Or like you'll get a coupon for your next meal.
And so they have these like lockers, kind of like they have at schools.
Or at concerts.
Or at concerts to check your phone in.
And then they have these some places even have the plastic bags that lock that they take.
And so, I mean, there's real efforts being made to keep phones away.
I guess the one thing that I could see is that if you are somebody who likes to, like, film your meal or film yourself and you're somebody in the background that really doesn't want to pop up in anybody's videos.
You're out of your mistress and all of a sudden you're in trouble.
Right, okay, okay.
People are invested that way.
Well, you know what I'm saying?
That would make somebody pretty upset.
So maybe a non-phone section would be a safe place for cheaters.
Oh, God, I hate that.
Well, yeah, but also people, like, if you're in the background of someone filming something
and you just like, you don't notice it so you look real quick and it's not the best look whatever,
they'll zoom in on your face and they'll be like, this part of something.
Yeah, yeah.
I don't know.
I've thought about that.
I would like the idea of no phones in.
And like you said, they do do it at concerts,
so if people can go without their phone for a concert,
they can go without their phone for a meal too.
Yeah.
I don't have kids, and I'm just, like, worried about kids.
Right.
I don't have kids.
Nobody would call me for their kids,
but I'm like, well, what about the kids?
I mean, parents go to concerts where they can't have their phones,
and they have good in the day.
If you went out to dinner, you would not be able to get a hold of your kids
and your kids not get a hold of you with no phone before they had them.
Heaven forbid.
You have to call the restaurant.
Yeah.
Heaven forbid we figure out a way to deal without our phones.
It's so weird what a problem it is for people.
It just chris me out.
I just set my phone down when I don't want to use it.
You're the hardest person to get a hold of.
Yeah.
Because I forget that I even have a phone.
I am.
Jewel has no problem detaching from his phone.
Not a problem in the world detaching from my phone, no.
As a matter of fact, I've had literally conversations with my therapist about you should pick up your phone more often.
Maybe the one mental health conversation where a therapist is like, you should use your phone.
That's crazy.
Check in on.
things, you know, look at what's going on in the world.
Things that interest you.
And I'm like, nah, I'd rather stare at a wall.
Your therapist is like, you need social media.
You need to get on social media and start scrolling.
Pick it up a little more once in a while because I never look at anything.
I don't look at my phone.
Total opposite one of everybody else is being told.
She's like, I've never told this to anybody that I talk to.
But I think you might actually benefit from picking up your phone a little more.
The times that Jouple does respond, I'm like, oh, I have them right now.
For five minutes, I've got to hurry up and say everything to say.
mean anything. I can't make it too long because then he's
going to be like, uh, it's like Tom Cruise called
you. Yeah. I'm like, oh my gosh.
I've learned no it. It doesn't matter if you
respond. He'll respond once and then that's it.
Usually, yeah.
And then he's gone. And then he's gone.
Well, if you do
manage to pick up your phone and look at it, then maybe
you've noticed that TikTok has a different
type of meaning for the beginning of October.
For most of us, it's like, oh, yeah,
we're getting ready for Halloween. But
the rest of us, I guess, it's all
about cuffing season.
So we do talk about cuffing season
every year, but apparently October
1 is the beginning of cuffing season.
And then there's even a song
about falling in love in October
that's trending right now because people are using
it, either shouting out their significant
others or what they're trying to bring
into their lives for October if love
is your jam. You know, it's funny though. My horoscope
said that my person was coming this month.
Your what? Yeah, my horoscope.
And then one of the taroters.
I know, but it's just a bunch of below.
Because it's like every month they're like, he's coming.
Well, if it's baloney, then it's not going to happen.
You have to fully believe it.
Yes.
I have been fully believing it all year.
You just called it baloney.
You just called it baloney.
I'm trying not to be disappointed.
There's some doubt.
Yeah, you can't have any doubt.
I have no idea about this, actually.
I've got fun to get into it.
Well, you get doubt like one single bit, Neena.
You got to go full force all in.
I try.
I am in.
Because all the videos keep saying that for me specifically,
be ready.
He's coming or somebody's going to apologize.
Here's your doubt, though.
And then I'm like, he's coming.
Somewhere else.
Oh my gosh.
You're so dumb.
Like, in a way, that's funny.
And in a way, I'm mad.
Because now when he gets here,
I'm going to be mad at him for that.
The song you need to know if you want to save your life.
So Taylor Swift did drop new music.
And one of her songs is called Pink Clouding.
And it is the right BPM if you are
do CPR on someone to save their life.
So listen to the song.
Picture yourself doing CPR.
Yeah, 106 beats per minute is the right tempo for hands-only CPR.
I kind of like it.
So if you just sing the song and you just, poop, boop.
Does she do that on purpose?
I was like, is that.
I don't think so.
Oh.
I was like, that's an interesting choice.
But also like, but also maybe.
But she's like that.
So I could see her doing that being like,
I made this at 106 ppm
so that somebody could save somebody's life
if they listened to it.
Yes.
I could see her doing something like that
because it seems like everything she does.
Everything's coded.
Yeah, exactly.
Well, then that would be really nice.
I do.
I can't get any other song out of my head
when I'm trying to,
well, I'm not done to be our lot, but that's another one.
That's a great song.
I don't like your dance.
I think that one's a hundred and six beats per minute too.
So here's the trick.
Here's the trick.
Learn a song.
I'm tuning you out now.
There's 106 beats per minute
and then you could save a life.
So that is what's trending.
Alicia is on the phone today for To Catch a Cheater.
She's been married to her husband Edward for three years,
but now she thinks something might be going on,
so we'll see if we can help her out.
Sorry about that, Alicia.
What's going on?
Why do you think that your husband Edward's cheating?
Hi.
Well, I mean, it's kind of a bit of a story.
Okay.
Well, we work for the same company,
but we work in at different,
department so we've never really had to interact that much.
I have a different boss in my department and my husband, Edward is the boss in his department.
And, you know, we're both very professional at work and we're very by the book.
So when we come home, we don't really talk very much about work and some things have just
gotten sort of rocky in the past month and my husband and I have been going to therapy.
Trying to work with a therapist and then trying to talk things.
But it doesn't really feel like things are getting better.
It just feels like everything is sort of plateaued.
And they've not gotten worse.
And I just feel like Edward, I don't know, he seems very detached.
He seems like he's bored.
Like he just wants to not come home or not really like talk to me and I feel like I've
I've tried everything I could think of to spice things up and keep him interested.
Do you think that he's actually cheating on you or do you think that because he's bored
that he might?
Well, here's the thing is we, you know, we both take separate cars to work even though
we're going to the same place, but we both get home.
He usually gets home a little later to me, but now he's been getting home like a few hours
later than he usually does.
And he's also been getting taxed from his secretary, Lizzie, right before we go to bed at 10, 11, which is pretty late for us.
And I've asked him, like, why does your secretary keep texting you?
What does she need to talk to you about like 11 o'clock at night?
And he says, oh, it's just work.
And he's very, you know, I'll say, just stop, talk, like stop being like that.
Like you're being crazy right now.
I don't like that.
I don't like that either.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, it's very, um, like he just has like these prepared answers to kind of shoot me down whenever I ask him anything about Lizzie to where I don't feel comfortable talking about it.
But I don't think that's appropriate or that she probably needs to text him that way.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, I think you're right.
Does Lizzie know you?
Yeah, she knows me.
Okay.
Alicia is on the phone and she thinks that her husband of three years, Edward might be cheating.
So we're about to call him and pretend to be from the grocery store that he's a rewards member at and tell him that every single.
a month we choose one lucky rewards member who gets free flowers delivered from our floral
department and we'll see if he sends those to his wife alicia or to somebody else but first
alicia why don't you refresh our memory of your situation um my husband and i have been having
problems lately he's been going to therapy and um things have not gotten worse but they haven't
really gotten better and lately he hasn't been coming home from work right away and he's been getting
text from his secretary pretty late at night and won't tell me what they're about and gets
pretty defensive when I ask him. So just wondering what's going on. Yeah, me too. See if we can find
out for you. Are you ready for us to call him? Yes. Okay. Here we go. Hello. Hi, this is
Corbel calling from I was looking for our rewards card member named Edward. Uh, yes, speaking.
Hi, Edward, please don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call. I'm actually calling to say,
Congrats. You're this month's big winner.
Wow. Yeah, must be my lucky day. What's what I win?
The flowers. Every single month, we choose one lucky rewards card member at random to say thank you very much for being a customer and shopping with us.
You've won 36 long stem red roses, a box of candy or chocolate and a card to be delivered to anybody that you want within the 50 United States.
It's a $316 value, actually.
Wow. Okay. Yeah, no. Thank you. Thank you. I'm in.
Great.
Can I tell you who to make it out to?
All right.
Let me get my form pulled up then.
And, okay, first thing you all need is the first and last name of the person you want to send him to.
Sure.
Yeah.
Make it out to Lizzie.
Okay, great.
I will do that.
And is there anything you would like to put on a card before I get the address and stuff?
Sure.
Yeah.
Put Alicia.
I listen to the show too.
And Lizzie is my free pass.
Okay.
Whoa.
What?
What?
Are you serious right now putting me on the show putting me on blast you know I listen to the show
I know your voice buddy well thank you for listening to the show yeah thank you for listening to the show
obviously then you know your wife is on the phone Alicia and suspects that you might be messing
around so you are yeah yeah yeah I'm cheating on you with Lizzie I'm cheating on with you with
Lizzie and that doesn't mean anything all right listen it's just logical but guess what she's my past
because you cheated first you know this did you did she tell you that did she tell you that
you that she's a cheater? Did she tell you she's a cheater?
No. Uh-uh.
Let him know, Alicia. Do you want to sell them or should I?
Alicia had sex with her boss.
Was her boss?
Yeah, two months ago. You know how I found out?
How?
We drive separate. So one day I came home, I found a condom wrapper in the waistbasket
next to the bed, in my bed, all right?
Do you think we use condoms?
No.
Okay.
So then...
You know how ashamed I felt being cuckled by my...
Oh my, my...
Her boss.
So the way you deal with it is to cheat on me with your secretary?
That's the way I deal with it.
With your secretary, that's so cliche.
So, yeah, that's the way that you deal with it to get back at me.
Oh, give me a break.
Like, we haven't gone to therapy.
Like, we haven't gone through this, that you owe me.
You admitted that.
We talked about having a free pass.
Guess what?
Lizzie is mine.
I tried to be a little bit cuddled about it.
Yeah, it's kind of obvious.
But for you to get mad about it, let alone go on the radio and call it out.
Are you kidding me?
Alicia, you hypocrite.
Well, you lied about it, and it kind of doesn't make it better that you just did what she did.
Yeah.
But Alicia, you don't, I mean, yeah.
It sounds like, you know, you guys obviously have a lot to talk about or to not talk about anymore.
I don't think you should just try to make it an eye for an eye and get back at me by sleeping with your secretary and then lying to me about it.
You were fine with an eye for an eye.
You said you owed me, all right?
Do I have a free pass or not?
Well, then you should have just told her that you have.
that you were taking advantage of the past.
I mean, at that point, no?
I'm sorry if I made you feel humiliated or called you out.
That was not what I wanted to do.
I just felt like you weren't talking to me
and you couldn't tell me what was going on.
If you wanted a free pass,
why didn't you have this conversation with me?
Did you have a conversation with me before you cheated?
Do you think I wanted any of this?
Okay.
Well, Alicia, you know, you got your answer.
Work sounds like a really nice of place.
Can we just talk about this off the year when we get home?
I mean, I love you and I don't.
I don't want to keep fighting with you.
Do you guys want to be together?
I didn't enjoy being with Lizzie.
It was a one-time thing and I'm calling it off.
I don't want to do it again.
I only did it because I felt like I had to gain some kind of control, all right, back in the relationship.
But no, you're who I want to be with and I hate this.
I hate everything about it.
I love you.
I love you, too.
I wouldn't give up on therapy.
I'm sorry.
Yeah.
This is really good.
It sounds like you guys have something to talk about now in therapy.
Yeah.
Well, yeah.
Okay.
Good luck.
I hope you work it out.
I do.
Me too.
I'm glad you guys have love there.
Cool.
Thanks a lot.
I appreciate it.
Thank you.
I love you.
I have a mentally challenged airhead.
No.
Not even.
I didn't say that.
It's like, why am I even?
listening to to begin with.
You're a virgin who can't drive.
It's time.
Excuse me.
It's time.
It's time.
For America's favorite trivia game,
you versus Victoria,
your chance to take on.
Victoria Ramirez in a game of trivia
for Disney World's Collide Tickets.
And let's meet today's contestant
for you versus Victoria.
Rob, what's up, Rob?
Hey, just out here hanging out doing a thing.
Nice.
That's what you got.
What is you, Rob?
What do you do when you find worms in your strawberries, Rob?
I found another one right now.
Yeah, Victoria almost ate another worm in her strawberries, so she's...
I didn't. But I always did it.
Yeah.
What?
First, Victoria, you just dig it out of the ground and eat it in it like a bird?
I mean...
No, but I think I'd actually prefer that.
Did you wash them before you get them, Victoria?
I rinsed them, but I ran out of baking soda, so I couldn't put them in baking soda,
so I kind of just, like, rinse them, and I was like, yeah, it'll be fine.
And got halfway through him before you realized, hey, that's a worm.
Yeah, pretty much all the way through, actually.
You eat a lot of berries, and so there's a really good chance.
You have a lot of worms in your system.
Oh, so my immunity is pretty tight as what I'm hearing.
According to chat, usually the tiny worms are no problem.
Oh.
Usually.
Oh.
Once in a blue moon, though.
One time.
It's going to.
Key word they're usually.
Exactly.
All right, we're going to send Victoria out of the studio while she's leaving Rob the game.
He's played like this.
You have 30 seconds.
To answer as many questions as possible.
If you don't know one, just say pass.
and Victoria has to beat you outright to win, okay?
That sounds like a winner.
All right, here we go.
Your time starts now.
In Greek mythology, who flew too close to the sun?
Path.
What does WWW at the beginning of a web address stand for?
What, what?
Which came first, the invention of the lighter or the match?
Match.
Which letter does not appear in the name of any U.S. state?
Oh my goodness.
I know what this one is.
No one can't be cute.
It's a W, I think.
No, wait a minute.
It's not W.
I take that back.
X.
All right.
Cut that and we'll bring Victoria back.
I sound like a bell version of Victoria.
Back into the studio.
And while she's getting settled and putting on her headphones and stuff,
what was the note you were trying to slide me, or not slide me, but you had pressed up against the window.
In the studio, we have a window to the door outside where Victoria stands, and she was pressing
a note up against it. What did it say?
It just said hi.
That's it?
Yeah, kind of.
It was, I thought I heard something, but I wasn't fully sure.
Oh.
And so.
It says, tell Rob no cussing.
I know.
Why don't you just read it?
Yeah.
Well, because I wasn't sure if I heard something and I was like, am I calling us out?
Like, it wasn't as Rob, but that's okay.
And I hit the button really quickly.
Yeah, yeah, you hit the dump.
You thought you heard something when?
Yeah.
Earlier.
Yeah, earlier.
We can go through it later.
I thought I heard it too.
So I immediately pressed it.
Okay.
I thought he's coming out of nowhere.
You're just like, tell Rob no cussing.
No cussing, Rob.
You got it?
I thought I heard that.
I already put the button earlier, but I didn't even see Jubal react and that's usually
tells me, girl, you also have a microphone in direct like conversation with Rob right now.
Yeah.
You don't have to ask for permission to talk about.
I heard it.
Hey, Rob, how's going?
All right, here we go.
30 seconds to answer as many questions as possible.
I'm confused.
Did you not, did you cuss, Rob?
Did you cuss?
I don't think I, I don't think I did.
All right.
And if I did, it was a.
Flip.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's a vibe.
All right.
Well, here we go.
30 seconds to answer as many questions as possible.
If you don't know, one just say past and Victoria has to beat you.
I'll write to win.
And Rob, you can tell Victoria when to go.
Just don't cuss when you do it.
Please.
Ready?
That's.
Go?
Yeah.
In Greek mythology, who flew too close to the sun?
Oh.
Oh, what was his name?
Um, um, um, uh, yeah.
Zeus?
Yeah, that was wrong.
WWW at the beginning of a web address stands for what?
But I read this story. I know who it is.
World Wide Web.
Which came first, the invention of the lighter or the match?
Hey, I can't see your thing anymore.
The lighter.
Can you ask another one?
I was on the phone with that.
All right, got that in.
Let's send it over to the scoreboard and see how you guys did with our scoreboard, producer freeze.
Okay, so no.
Victoria had two and Rob had one.
Oh, yeah.
Rob.
Victoria beat you.
We are tied.
Okay, so you played it before and now you're tied, but you beat you today.
You did still get Disney World's collide tickets for playing, though.
Beat me out to park like the after work.
Oh, all right.
Let's get the answers now with Nina.
In Greek mythology, Icarus flew too close to the sun.
He's name.
WWW at the beginning of a web address is World Wide Web.
And then the lighter came before the match.
It was kind of a trick question.
I knew everybody would say match.
I figured it is.
But you got it right.
Good job.
Can I mention something real quick?
Oh, wait a minute.
I know.
I didn't get yours yet, Rob.
I forgot.
Q is the only letter that does not appear in any of the U.S. states.
Can I mention something real quick?
Yes, producer for you.
You know, I'm new to the show for the last year.
I was listening to old shows.
And I was listening to old U.S.
versus Victoria's.
Uh-huh.
She's gotten worse.
Oh.
She used to answer the questions much more rapidly.
Bro, what's your problem?
You are now, you are now much more, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
I don't know if it's the meds or what it is, but like.
Are you trying to fight?
No.
Interesting.
I just noticed it and it was so noticeable.
I was like, if you want to go back, you know, if you want to do your own research,
you can go to the podcast.
Yeah.
Just type in the Jubal show, go back to old episodes of you versus Victoria and then to compare
them against new ones and see if producer freezes.
You're way more spry.
Rob, if you want to meet Freeze out at the park,
I will stand behind you, homie,
and you'll be with you all the way.
This record is on.

Lisa, we should tell them about our new show. Oh my God, Lexi. We have a new podcast. It's called
Don't Lie to Me. I'm Lexi Youan. We're two best friends, 22 years apart,
but so close at heart.
And I'm Lisa Di Giulio, the old one,
which means we have wildly different references,
occasionally different opinions,
and at this point in my 50s, I've lived it all.
I'm not going to get anyone fighting.
That is wild.
I learned that about you today.
Now in my 30s, being the founder of new shoes,
good taste is my business,

If men were just honest about this,

We're going to talk about data,

We're best friends, but we don't always agree.
Because you told us how accommodating you are.
Obviously, I would do what I think I could do to fight the fight,
but there's only so much fight I can fight.
Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me. Don't lie to me.
Don't lie to me.

Hey, what's up y'all? It's Questlove. And on the Questlove show, I've been sitting down with some really interesting people.
And I've got two recent episodes you should check out. I caught up with my good friend Jojo to talk about her music, her career, and what she's been up to.
Don't invite me to karaoke. I'm going to make it weird. Someone's going to try to sing, leave get out, or too little, too late, or baby to you.
And I'm going to be like, okay, cool.
I also caught up with Wildo 267 for a conversation that covered his story, his perspective, and plenty more.

Meg is on the phone today for a first date follow-up,
and she's getting ghosted by a guy named James.
So in a few minutes, we're going to call him
and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her
and maybe get her another date.
But first, Meg, how long has it been since you heard from James?
Here's the deal.
We live in the same building.
So I actually saw him.
Yeah, I know.
So I see him in the elevator all the time.
So I actually saw him like this morning.
And it's a little bit awkward just because of all of this.
So, but I haven't heard like he hasn't kind of followed up by a text or phone, which is what I was kind of waiting for.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
So did you reach out to him other than seeing him in the elevator?
Yeah.
So I, I was sort of expecting a call.
And then this morning when I saw him, I just kind of was like, I have to say something.
Because I haven't heard from him.
So I just said like, hey, you know, do you want to go for dinner sometime?
And he basically said, I'll get back to you, which I feel like is a bad sign.
Yeah.
probably not the best yeah yeah exactly right but it was so great like we went to this
trivia night that he had been telling me about because you know I had seen him in the
elevator we'd make small chat all the time I actually have a tiny confession that I
would kind of plan to be in the elevator when he was there okay I was there
yeah I was like oh if I keep running into this guy um so yeah so I like like running into him
And we were chatting and he had told me with this trivia night.
And then finally he asked me out, which I was really psyched about.
And we just like had this great night.
We even went back to his place afterwards.
Well, did something happen?
Did anything actually go down on the date that may have made it a little bit awkward or that you felt like was a turning point?
Well, here's obviously I have been analyzing this for days because it's all I can think of.
Sure.
So the only thing.
So I started to go, okay, maybe it was this because like my sister.
Um, she's going through a bit of a bad kind of breakup right now.
Um, she's a single mom.
So she's having a hard time.
She did call me a couple of times.
Oh, it might have been like three or four times when we were on the date.
And I did answer because I just knew, you know, and at the time I wasn't thinking, I was like,
oh, I've got to answer.
It's my sister.
You know, she needs me.
But I'm kind of wondering, did that kill the vibe?
And does he think I'm rude, you know, for answering the phone so much?
And then I'm like, if he did that to me, yeah, would I be like.
little pissed. So I'm wondering if that's it. Did he say anything about it or did he seem annoyed by that?
Okay, full disclosure. One of them may have come when we were kind of making out a little bit. So I
guess he seemed a little annoyed when that got cut off, but he didn't say anything. It was just
kind of, I kind of feel like I guess, yeah, that was kind of the end of the night sort of thing.
So, but he didn't say anything about it. Like he just was like, okay, you know, good night.
Meg, why don't you catch everybody up on your situation? Yes. Okay. So I went.
out with this amazing guy James who lives in my building.
I see him all the time in the elevator.
He finally asked me out.
We had a great time.
There was even some makeouts.
But it's been like, oh my God, it's been weeks now.
He has not responded to my last text.
And I've recently seen him in the elevator and basically said, hey, do you want to go for
dinner some time?
And he basically said, I'll get back to you, which doesn't feel positive.
Yeah.
All right.
And the reason you think you might be getting ghosted is because you kept answering your
phone, right? I did. My sister kept calling during the date and she's having a tough time,
so I did keep answering my phone. Well, yeah, to be honest. So yeah. All right. Well,
are you ready for us to call them and see if I'll tell us why? Oh, God. Yeah, I think I'm ready. I'm
nervous, but I'm ready. Here we go. Hi, man. I speak to James, please. Um, yeah, this is James.
How you doing, man? My name is Jubal. I'm calling from a radio show. It's called the Jubal show.
Hi, James. The show's here too. I'm Nina. Hi, and I'm Victoria. How are you? Hey, hey.
I'm good.
What's up?
Not much.
Have you heard the show before, ever?
Is this the, have you actually something to do with like first dates or something?
Yes, actually it does.
I don't know.
Yeah, we do a segment on the show.
It's called the first date follow up.
It's where if you go out on a date with somebody and you end up ghosting them,
they can email us to get you on the phone and ask why.
So we got an email about you from somebody.
That's why we're calling.
Oh, my God.
I actually have heard of your stuff before.
Oh, my God.
Thank you.
You got an email about me?
Yes, we got an email about you.
Okay.
Are you ghosting somebody?
Yeah, you have any idea who?
Uh, yeah, honestly, I'm pretty sure I know who you're talking about.
Yeah.
Okay, who do you think it is?
Is it Meg?
Yes, it is Meg.
She said she really liked you a lot and she's confused.
Yeah, all right, here's a story.
So, I mean, yeah, honestly, we did have a great date.
I had a good time.
The real deal breaker for me.
for me and this might sound like a small thing but it's big to me she let it slip but she
doesn't like dogs and that is a huge deal breaker for me do you have a dog no i don't have a dog
right now we're not allowed to have dogs in our buildings but um i'm planning on buying a house
someday and i definitely am getting a dog when i have my house i grew up a dog i love dogs i it's
just something i can't live without having in my life oh i wonder what she would
say though if you were like I need to have dogs but what did she say like she
absolutely hated dogs she just didn't like them she's allergic to them well she was
complaining about one of her friends dogs and just kind of complaining about the smell
and the mess that it makes all the time and just kind of like was like you know complaining
about this one dog but then like let it get to the point of like and that's because of that
I don't like dogs at all and that for me was like we're gonna judge all dogs based off this one
dog that is not for me that's just not for me man so that's it just that she doesn't like dogs
that is honestly yeah it's a huge deal breaker for me like you like sure you could you could
tolerate dogs but yeah I got to have a dog and I can't foresee myself having a future with
somebody who just can't live with a dog in their life I mean everybody's got their thing
I've never met anybody that doesn't like dogs yeah I haven't either but also I would do just
want to say like devil's advocate like it could be maybe her friend just really is bad
take like not great at taking care of for dog is that like bad to say I can see that but you
know then you then you like you got to feel some pity for that dog and not just complain about it
you talk to your friend right that's it was just a total deal breaker for me the way though you
had to hear it I don't know it's tough to say the things that she was saying because it was it was a
gut punch to me maybe we should just ask her because she is on the phone listening and wants to
talk to you yeah hi jane hey
Yeah, hey, I forgot about this part.
I can't believe this.
Like, my God, if I had like 100 guesses,
I would never guess this is why you're ghosting me.
Listen, it's just like, this is why I didn't want to bring it up.
It feels like a little thing to a lot of people,
but it's a big thing to me.
It's a big part of my life.
And, you know, I really did feel like we had some chemistry.
And, you know, and, but just it's a hard know for me.
Yeah, it's a real deal breaker.
But, oh my God, we did.
Listen, I agree.
I think we had, like, amazing chemistry, including on that night, like, the build-up
to our first date, all that stuff.
And I guess I'm just like, okay, what if it was like, I'm okay?
I could learn to be okay around dogs.
Like, I just wouldn't, like, pep them if I was around a dog, I could be okay with
dogs.
It's not that I think they're evil.
I just don't like them.
They're, like, they, I do think they're messy and there's always dog hair everywhere and,
like, whatever.
but I mean, does that change?
Yeah, see, this is what I'm talking about.
This is what I'm talking about.
This is a no for me.
Absolutely not.
Like, you can't even get through a sentence without saying something negative.
Oh.
I mean, I guess, but like it could be worse.
I just feel like there's so many worse things.
Like, it's not like I'm like a murderer or like a stalker.
Like, and I would, like, those are real reasons to not be with somebody.
I just feel like.
I don't know.
Someone who doesn't like dogs could be a murderer.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
Okay, so I just feel like this is such, I mean, is that a thing like where you like don't trust people who don't like people who don't like people who don't like dogs?
Like, or you don't think so.
I absolutely don't trust people who don't like dogs.
That is a hard line.
Absolutely don't.
You know, I was thinking it might have been fun for a one night stand, which is why I let it get as far as it did.
But I'm kind of done at this point.
It's a hard note for me.
Wow.
Okay.
And now knowing that you were just like,
hanging on for one night stand, starts to make it feel like a no for me too.
So that was a little, a little much to hear.
So what do I, and now, this is great.
We live in like, what am I supposed to do when I see in the elevator?
We can ignore all of this and.
Well, I don't know.
You know what time I ride the elevator every day.
Maybe you can avoid getting in the elevator with me.
James, would you like to go on another day with Meg will pay for it?
No, thank you.
Okay.
I mean, I thought, yeah, if, I mean, we could get together and talk it out.
in person and not just like this.
No, thanks. I do not want to be murdered.
What?
All right. Well, I guess you got your answer, Meg.
And James, thanks. Thank you. Thank you for telling us.
Yeah, thank you.
Thanks a lot, guys. I really do like the show.
Thanks. Thank you.
Give us three minutes and we'll give you everything you need to know for the day.
It's time for Nina's what's trending.
I have got a great stupid criminal story for you today.
These criminals are trending because what they stole,
well, they stole these trucks, but they didn't know what to do with
what was inside of them.
Whoops.
Bro.
So why did you steal it?
Anyway, it's pretty funny.
I can't wait to tell you in just a second.
But first,
McElmore has news
that he announced on his social media.
His upcoming Free Palestine Tour
is completely sold out.
He announced in a post
that all of the shows are sold out
and he will announce the lineup shortly
because that's not completed yet at this point.
And then again, of course,
all the funds raised are going to go
to support organizations,
supporting Palestine.
Yesterday, we reported on Diddy.
And the story's about Diddy coming out of prison
where, yes, he's getting out a little bit earlier,
but the story was also that he's getting massages in prison.
He's playing on his phone.
All kind of contraband.
He's got other inmates doing all of his chores.
So this story goes viral.
And actually, Jubal, you called it.
You were like, okay, now he's probably going to get in trouble
because now that we all see it.
And that's exactly what happened.
They stuck him back in the shoe.
Wait, that's...
Imagine being like, yeah, man, like, look at everything.
I got in prison.
Like, yeah, y'all don't even have some of this, like, outside of prison.
But then, like, it gets so viral, they take it away.
Yeah, the audacity.
I was like, it should be illegal.
Congratulations, you played yourself.
Yeah.
I'd imagine everybody in that prison is probably very upset now.
Right.
Because the microscope is on that prison.
So all the guards and whoever, who, like, they'll work out stuff,
who bring stuff in for them and all that kind of stuff,
that probably can't do it now, right now.
Yeah.
I'm sure they did a sweep.
Yeah.
So probably everybody in there is very upset.
Yeah.
I'm sure they went through and swept the entire pod and everybody lost all their things.
Yeah.
Oh, that's true.
And then also I bet you some of the guards were getting paid off by Diddy, I bet.
And then like now they're going to get in a man.
For sure.
So all that is gone.
So if you don't know what the shoe is, that's solitary confinement.
So now he's back all by himself staring at walls.
As he should be, you don't get to get a massage in prison.
But he's still getting out early.
Yeah.
But I feel like Did he's someone who can stare at a wall though for a hot minute and be fine.
Like, I'm like, he does need a lot of things.
I don't think so.
He doesn't seem that zen.
Really?
Oh, the Zen part.
I don't think of Zid.
I mean, he doesn't really have a choice.
Yeah, I mean, that's true.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I feel like it would be very hard for him not to be getting, unless the walls are
being like, you're dope, dude.
You're the best.
You're amazing.
That's what I'm picturing.
The wall saying.
He's awesome.
He's got a sticky notes and his affirmations all over the place.
Oh, man.
Anyway, okay.
So these criminals, stupid criminals, I'm about to tell you about it might end up in the same
prison is ditty one day. But as of right now, they're still on the run, but they're also very disappointed.
So there's thieves that stole AI Navidia's semi-truck. So there are these AI trucks that have the
Navidia logo on them. And of course, they're like, wow, this is like a multi-billion trillion dollar
company or whatever. Let's go steal them and get the goods inside. So they get off with these
trucks. When they open up the truck, all they see inside is sand. You're like, what am I supposed to do
with all of this sand.
So they dump the sand,
they ditch the trucks.
It was 20,000 pounds of sand
in each truck.
And they're like,
they dump it and they piece out.
The funny thing is,
technically,
the sand was silica.
Which is the primary raw material
that's used to produce.
The high purity silicon
that does all of the computer microchip stuff
that NVIDIA is known for.
So they didn't know what to do with it.
So they ditched it.
But if they sold that to another company, then anyway.
The value was very, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It was very valuable.
Why would they just have random sand in, like, in?
It looked like random sand.
It looked like random.
It's what I'm saying, though.
Like, why would they be, if they're going to steal it, at least be smart enough to be like, hey, this has to be worth something.
Even if it is just sand.
Yeah.
It has to be very important sand.
A lot of those truck jackers that are out there, the people that hijack the, the, the trucks.
The trucks.
The trucks that are shipping things have no idea what they're stealing.
You would think you would do some kind of recon though, right?
Like, at least look at the movies I see, they camp out and they know what goes in the trucks, what time the deliveries are.
Is it in the movies?
Yeah, because if you're going to be a criminal, being a dumb one just really doesn't make sense.
It doesn't even pay off.
Like, you put all that time and risk your life and you still get nothing.
I mean, they didn't get caught this time.
The company did get their sand back, their silica.
But these thieves made out with nothing.
Wamp, want, wow.
People who are not smart and they steal them.
It's just so funny to me.
Stealing is not funny.
You should not do it.
No.
You're a jerk if you do.
Yeah.
Stealing is not good.
Especially look at these guys.
I mean, they're grown up.
You're an idiot if you steal.
Yeah.
Basically, that's what's trending.
Jubils.
Dirty little secret.
Hello?
Hi.
Hey, you have a dirty little secret?
I do.
Oh, I'm nervous.
What is it?
It's a safe space.
