James is on the phone today for a first date follow-up and he's being ghosted by Jessica. So we're going to see if we can help him out, figure out why, and maybe get him another date in a second. But first, James, before we get into your dating stuff, how long has it been since you heard from Jessica? Oh man, let's see. It's been like, geez, it's been like a week. It's been like maybe like a week and a half, two weeks.

Two weeks, a week. There's a difference there for sure. I think we're in ghosting territory. When was the last time you guys talked? Was it on your last date? Yeah. Last time we talked was actually after that date. And she even said, she was like, oh, I might, she was going to like reach out to me and maybe plan the next date.

But I'm not going to lie to you guys. Like, I'm super disappointed because the date was awesome what was so awesome about it so we went out to dinner and you know i wanted to impress her so i took her to like this real swanky spot you know okay and i'm not gonna lie she was like just as pretty as her pictures were. And I'm a classy fella. So of course I didn't like say nothing about that to her. But I think my favorite thing might be that she's like really career driven. And I love that.

It turns me on when a woman is into her work. Stop the dirty talk, James. I love that too. So you and me all worked up. I love that too, because I do that. Okay, yeah, I feel you on so she has she's career driven you thought she was beautiful and how was the interaction between you guys date was really good you know um we had dinner we got to talk about our lives and you know i let her know that i actually have three kids which she didn't seem like she was too put off by.

And that's like a huge surprise. Normally, like once I bring kids up, people are like, Oh, you know, but she actually did mention that she's actually like wanted kids, but she's,

you know, because of her job and being so focused on her career, she hasn't been able to. So kids weren't really an issue. Maybe she was excited about the idea that you had them yeah that's nice yeah she said that she wants to be able like she wants to have kids so you know we both were like the good thing too the more we talked i realized she and i both are looking for something serious i'm sick of fishing there's so many fish in the sea i'm tired tired of it. I'll be honest. You know,

I'm looking for someone that my kids can eventually call mom because it's like as much as I want to find somebody. Yeah. As much as I want to find somebody, my kids are the biggest factor when it comes to finding somebody, finding somebody good. Did you express that, that you're looking for somebody to call mom? Cause that's also quite intense for a first aid even if you are open to the idea of having children and you know the other question is did you mention if you were willing to have any more if she wanted to have any of her own okay we didn't talk about having more but i'll be honest but somebody that's great hey there's always room you know what i mean okay yeah she said too she said that really one thing she wants is a sense of normalcy she's like her job's a lot of fly by the seat of her

pants so she's really looking for someone to come home to and after that i was like oh i'm in deal you know sign me up i'm in so she pretty much seemed to have everything you're looking for but now she's ghosting yeah and that is that's here's the thing that killed me like we uh i walked into her car into the night and she lightly kissed me on the cheek and that's when she told me she's like oh she text me and you know maybe set up another date and like i said that was like yeah that was it was a week and a half ago. And I only called once. I texted twice. I try my best to not do too much, but, you know, my heart, my heart is breaking over here. Okay.

I'll be honest. I think it was the kids thing. Really? You know, because, yeah, I've been on a lot of dates and that's normally what shuts people off. I mean, because people, you know, they skip town when you say you've got one, but I mean,

I got three and I hope that's not it. I hate it. You know, it sucks when, you know, great people get spooked by the fact that you got, you know, kids.

And we were sharing like war stories of past relationships, but it seems, it seems like, gosh, she's right where I would want her to be. She's like, she's amazing. So I hope the kids thing didn't run off because I can't do nothing about that.

Yeah. All right, well, why don't you recap the date real quick before we give her a call so we'll catch everybody up. Yeah, yeah. So we went out to a real nice restaurant. You know, told her that I got kids. And she didn't seem too bothered by it. But dinner was great.

We talked about old relationship stuff. Talked about what we want from life. that I got kids and she didn't seem too bothered by it, but a dinner was great. I'm looking for a house. You know, I'm trying to make a family. So the date went well, gave me a kiss on the cheek. And she said she'd reach back out to plan another date. But that was like what feels like forever ago.

All right. How would it feel to star in one? I mean, I have a feeling that I'm looking like the bad guy right now, but sure, let's do it. Why not? Well, he said star in one, so that's actually a positive spin. You sound really awesome from the description we got of you. That's great.

That's wonderful. That's accurate. His name is James. Oh. Oh. All right. You went out on a date with James, and you've been ghosting him, and he wants to know why. So could you tell us?

Um, yes. I'm just trying to think of how I can phrase this for the radio because i know you guys have rules um i just i i honestly didn't think that cavemen like that existed anymore like damn yes he was every sort of cliche of like a dude that you could think of you know what i mean like every cliche whatever you're thinking of right now is correct. Okay. Well, what does that mean exactly for you? All right. I mean, like, first off, he didn't put on his profile that he had kids. And like, you know, that wasn't a big deal.

It was just a little red flaggy, you know? Right. Like, again, not a big deal. And then he started talking about how they were from three different women, all of whom he had cheated on. Yes. Yes, everyone. He admitted it. Yes, yes, everyone. He admitted it. Uh-huh.

Okay. He just, like, kept telling me that, like, you know, even though he's the one who cheated all of his baby mamas, his smoking hot baby mamas, that I didn't seem like the kind of girl that he'd cheat on. What? Oh, yeah. It's a compliment, but also

I get it. Does he get credit for just being so honest? He's honest for sure. Yeah, and that honesty sold me right there. I was in love. I know that James is on the phone right now and like, hi James. I'm going to keep going on all of these

caveman things you know um he started talking about how he loved that i was a career girl not even a career woman but a career girl and he wants to know you know as a career girl would i ever consider being a stay-at-home mom to take care of his three kids from his three smoking hot baby mamas. Wait, he asked you if you consider being a stan? Okay, wow. Okay, first off, I can't believe you're acting like this. Like, yo, you gave me all the signals to try and kiss you. I mean, and of course, you look great.

You dress great. And no, I did not look at your boobs the entire time. That's crazy. He absolutely did. i dressed to impress i made sure you know that i was going on a first date and like yes he was looking at my am i allowed to say my bazooms or whatever on the radio he looked at them the entire time the entire time and he just kind of dressed like a schlub like i'm glad i i. I think his shirt, you know, was washed, and it looked like he pulled out his nicer zip-up hoodie. Like, there wasn't any, like, you know, designs on it or whatever.

Solid colors, but still, bro. Oh, my God. I can't believe it. You know what? I see. You know, no. I see what it is. You know what? It was the kid thing, and she's just coming with excuses.

She ain't ready to commit no no no no no no adult relationship that's that's what it is i'm not this is so freaking goofy if you just pause for a second this real adult over here who's throwing words um he asked if we could go have fun in the restroom on our first date. Wait, what? Yeah, so this real adult. Oh, my God. Yo, I don't even know why you bring that up. That ain't got nothing to do with any of this.

Yo, man, f*** this. I'm out of here. I mean, but it did, though. Oh, damn. Hello? I'm not surprised. And, like, the crazy thing is, there's still so much more to this horrible date. And he just didn't even take it. Yeah.

He actually suggested that you guys go to the bathroom and mess around. He did. No wonder he's got three kids. And that was pretty early on. Well, somebody had to say yes. Three people did, at least.
