She went to the dog park, I guess, on a date, but now the dude's not calling her back. Robin, what's up? How are you? Hi. Well, I'm okay. I'm okay, I guess. Not the best.

Yeah. I hope based on my description of your date, it is the dog park. Or maybe not. I don't know. Sounds like either could be fun. Whatever you're into. I mean, no, you're absolutely right. Yeah, we went to a dog park.

And here's the thing. I thought it was perfect. You know, we're both dog lovers. We went to the dog park for a date. It was casual. What's his name, by the way? His name's Kyle. Kyle.

Kyle. And Kyle's a human. It was casual. What's his name, by the way? His name's Kyle. Kyle. Kyle. Okay. And Kyle's a human. Yeah. I didn't know you might have had a date with a dog. We don't judge. Well, I would judge that. We don't judge unless he needs to be judged.

I might judge that. Okay. So you met this dude, Kyle, and you went to the dog park. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was good. I mean, it was just, you know, casual date at the dog park. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And it was good. I mean, it was just, you know, casual date at the dog park. Our dogs got along.

We got along, I thought. I mean, honestly, I thought he was amazing. I really want to see him again. Okay. Okay. Amazing. You thought he was amazing. Yeah, you know.

What was so amazing about Kyle? Well, let's see. He was nice. He was funny. We both love dogs and no kids, never been married, so, you know, no baggage. Okay. Well, maybe just a couple crazy exes.

We know that you had a good time on the date, but did it seem like he, Kyle, had a good time on the date as well? Yeah, I think so. I mean, we hugged at the end. You know, no kiss, but it was a dog park date. We didn't want to make out at the dog park. I said, we should go out again.

Speak for yourself. I was going to say, that's where I do it. Alex and I don't even have a dog, and we go to the dog park just to make out sometimes. That's fair. That's fair. I thought it was good. You know, he was flirting with me.

He definitely seemed like he was into me. Okay. And then. Yeah. So there's not like any awkward points during the day that you can think of? So, yeah, the only thing I can think of is at the end of towards the end of the day, the dogs got into a fight and we had to break them up. But it wasn't. Yeah, really wasn't it wasn't like a huge crazy dog fight your dog your dog and his dog yeah oh yeah were the dogs okay yeah they were totally fine it really honestly it wasn't super weird it was a non-issue it's the only

thing i can possibly think of, though, since you asked. Dog people, though, I know you guys, and some of you guys are hardcore. It'd be like, your dog's getting a fight, and now it's like, I cannot be with them. I need someone who my dog can also love their dog, no matter what. My dog doesn't like him. Maybe it's one of those things. I totally, maybe it was. It was at the end.

It very well could be. Yeah, but right. Yeah, it was. It very well could be. Yeah. Okay. Well. Yeah. Well, how did it end then after you guys left the dog park or, you know, when you guys were leaving the dog park?

Well, you know, like, again, I said, hey, we should go out again. He seemed into it, but I have not heard from him since. He stopped talking to me, and I don't know why. I'm just so confused. Okay, how long has it been then since that? It's been two weeks. Oh, wow. And have you tried to hit him up at all?

I have, yeah. I've sent a couple texts, yeah. He's just ghosting you, huh? Nothing, huh? Yeah. Just a couple texts, though? Because that's not that much effort. Well, yeah, but there's a reason why he's not calling him back. It doesn't matter.

One text after two weeks when they say they want to see you again is pretty much being ghosted. All right. Well, we'll play a song, come back, and then call him and see if we can figure it out for you, okay? Okay. Thank you so much. I just like to play a slope.

and he's got a breeder on the phone. He's waiting for one to be born, but it's not gonna be born in six months at least. So once he gets that dog in six months, he might hit you up. Is this a little premature to be doing a first date follow up with us right now? Oh, you know, I hadn't thought of that. Yeah, no one had. Yeah. Okay.

Except Duple. You psycho. Probably not that then. Okay. Well, we're going to call him right now and see if we can figure it out. And at the end of your date, he seemed like everything was cool and then he just stopped talking to you. Absolutely.

Okay. And English Evan. So you're on the phone with three people right now. How are you? I'm fine, I guess. Yeah. Okay. Why are you calling me?

We got an email about you from someone that listens to our show and they wanted us to call you. You got an email about me? Why? Well, we do a segment on our show where if you go on a date with someone and then end up not calling them back, they can email us to get you on the phone and ask what happened and try to find out what happened.

And you went on a date with a woman named Robin. Remember that? A couple weeks ago. Yes. Yes. I did do that. Okay. Yeah.

Thank you for confirming. Because Robin emailed us and she said she really enjoyed going out with you and she doesn't know why you're not talking to her now and she would love to know the reason and maybe see you again if you're down. Um, no, no. Okay. It doesn't sound like you like Robin very much. That was harsh. No. Okay. It doesn't sound like you like Robin very much. That was harsh.

Yeah, it started off with us having a good time, but she was just rude. Rude? Yeah. Rude and inconsiderate. Like bad manners or something? Yeah, when you break it down, yeah, she had bad manners. What was she doing? So she said something to me that was so incredibly insensitive.

I was just, I was shocked. I didn't know what. Insensitive, you said? Yeah. Well, she didn't tell us anything about that. Yeah. What did she say? We talked to her about your date and she thought everything was great. She actually thought you were having a wonderful time.

We were. We were having a wonderful time. We were. We were having a nice time. And then she just said something that was just really, really rude. Okay. Do you mind telling us what she said? Sure. Yeah. I was telling her a little bit about myself.

And, you know, fine, great. And then I told her that my grandmother had passed last month and she looks at me and goes oh that's cool that's cool that's a weird reaction oh yeah she said that's cool and i i looked at her and I said, what? What did you say? And she said, yeah, no, that's great. Like she wasn't listening or something? I don't know what her deal was. I don't know if she was... That's an awkward response. She was not listening or just being rude, but it was inconsiderate. You know, I was really close to my grandma and I was opening up to this, this, this new person.

And she just says, Oh, that's cool. Wow. Yeah. It's been worse than inconsiderate to say, that's great. Hey,

fabulous. Do you want to ask her why she said that? Do I want to ask her? Yeah. Um, not really. Okay. Well,

that's too bad. Cause she's actually on the phone listening and wants to talk to you. So I think you should just ask her. Oh. Yeah. Really? Yes. Robin?

Oh, my God, Kyle. I am so sorry. I'm mortified. I must have been tuning you out when I was paying. I just do that sometimes. I just I was looking at the dog. Yeah, so was I. How do you think I felt? I was so sorry. I can explain. Can you just let me explain? You you said that my grandma dying was cool. And now you're calling me from a radio station.

Yeah. Look, I I'm just I'm sorry. It's just sometimes I just tune people out. It's this thing I do. And I've been told that I just say, oh, cool. You know, I just must have done that to you. I'm so sorry. That was bad timing. Yeah, very bad timing. This was a first date, and we were learning about one another. I was telling you about my life, and you tuned out?

That's another good point yeah i i just i was must have been embarrassed you know because you do that and then you're like oh no i tuned out and so i just said oh cool hoping that would save face i'm so sorry i really don't think it's a cool thing that your grandma died i'm i'm so sorry i I mean, okay, I'm glad to know that you don't think it's cool she's dead, but the fact that the reason you said that is because you weren't even paying attention to me talking about who I am in my life is still a deal breaker.

Oh, are you sure about that, Kyle? You know what, Kyle, would you like to go on another date with Robin and we'll pay for it? Mm-hmm, she'll listen.
