Ryan is on the phone today for a first day follow-up, and he's getting ghosted by a woman named Layla. So in a few minutes, we'll call her and see if she'll tell us why she's ghosting him and maybe get him a second date. But first, Ryan, how long has it been since your date? It's been almost, almost a week now. You've been trying to hit her up? Yeah. I've been trying to get a hold of Layla for a bit. We ended up, like, we ended up spending a whole day together.

And I've just been trying to, you know, call and text without being, you know, overwhelming or anything like that. But I just can't seem to get any sort of response from her. Well, tell us about the date. Okay. Yeah. So the date was great. Like, we planned to meet for lunch, but we ended up spending the whole day together. which I didn't really expect, like just like a quick little coffee at this cafe, but it just like kept, I don't know, like the date just kept going on and on and on. And so after that, we wouldn't like grab a couple bikes and went for this ride by the water and stopped to grab some snacks and, you know, grabbing snacks and just like chatting and everything, you know, we're by the water. And she's just like, tell me about herself and her family and all this stuff. And like, I was like, well, you know, like, let's keep the conversation going. Let's go grab some steaks. We'll go back to my place.

and just like cook some dinner together. And she's like, well, if we're getting steaks, we should grab some wine. And I don't know. I'm not much of it like a Netflix and chill guy. And so when she came over, she's like, hey, if you have Uno, I was like, yeah, do you play cards?

And she's like, of course I play cards. And it turns out she's like really competitive. And so we played, like, we ended up playing Uno and just like putting music on the speaker, back and forth taking turns. And like, I know this sounds super cheesy, but it felt like a scene out of the movie. Really fun.

Yeah, it does sound fun. Yeah. What could have gone wrong? I mean, I kind of have a theory. I just, I don't want it to be true. What is it? Okay, so like when I invited her back to my place, like it wasn't actually my place.

I was house sitting for my boss. Oh, okay. You think she knows that? No, no, she does not know that. There's no way. Because I just kind of like played it off. But like, I don't know, like I'm worried, I don't know. Maybe she said like the mail.

or something and didn't have my name on it. I just feel awful. Like, I wish I just told her like, hey, I'm house sitting. I don't know why I didn't say that. Ryan is on the phone and he's getting ghosted by Layla, so we're about to call her and see if she'll tell us why. And maybe get him a second date. Okay, yeah. So Layla and I went out. It was supposed to be a short date. It turned out to like a whole day affair, and I invited her back to my place to cook some dinner. She was just spending the night, but I was house sitting on my boss's place. It wasn't actually my place. And you think she might have found that out?
