Lly Dicentos Aura Football on the IHario app, Apple Podcast, or whatever you get your podcast. First Date follow-up. Summer is on the phone today for a first date follow-up, and she's getting ghosted by a guy named Danny,
Starting point is 00:02:16 so in a few minutes we're going to call Danny and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her a second date, but first, Summer, why do you think Danny's ghosting you? Oh, well, I think it's probably because I'm, I think. called his mother and told her we were getting married. What? On a first date. Yeah, that's probably why. Aggressive.
Starting point is 00:02:41 It was a joke. It was a joke. It was a joke. Okay. That's the only thing I can think of. How'd you get to that point? Yeah. Well, I met him at the bar with his friends and we were having a really, really fun night.
Starting point is 00:02:56 We were all drinking and having fun. And I do think I go a little drunk. And at one point, we were looking at, like, vacation pictures on his phone. And so, like, I grabbed it from his hands real quick. And I went to his contact. And I just called his mother. And I told her that, like, we're going to go get married. We're going to go get married right now, you know.
Starting point is 00:03:19 What did she say? Well, she just was, like, speechless. I don't even think she was, like, registering what was happening. but he grabbed the phone from me and apologized to his mom and hung up. Okay. He didn't seem mad. He seemed really, like, we were laughing, so I thought it was totally fine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:03:40 All right. Yeah. Yeah, that might be a little weird. I mean, we had some drinks, so, you know, we were both really hammered. And so, like, it's all a little hazy. But we went back to his place and we hooked up, and it was pretty awesome. So, yeah, absolutely. It was a great night.
Starting point is 00:04:01 But when I woke up, he was already gone. And so then I left, and now he's not getting back to me. And me calling his mother is really the only thing I can think of. All right. Summer is on the phone, and she's getting ghosted by a dude named Danny. So we're about to call him and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her and maybe get her a second date. But before we do that, Summer, why don't you tell us why you think you're getting ghosted again? I really think it's because I called his mom while we were out drinking and I told her we were getting married.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I don't do it. Yeah, it's very possible. But it was just a joke and you guys did say you. It was just a joke. You did hook up at the end of the night so he must have gotten it over it a little bit. All right. He was totally fine with it. He was laughing and, you know, we were drinking.
Starting point is 00:04:49 I thought it was fine. Okay. Well, here we go. I'm going to dial this phone number right now. Hello? Hi, man, speak to Danny, please. Yeah, this is he. Hi, Danny, how are you?
Starting point is 00:05:03 This is a radio show. It's called The Jubal Show. Hi, Danny, I'm Nina. And my name is Jubal. How are you? Hey, I'm all right. How are you guys doing? Good.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Have you ever listened to the Jubal show before? A few times, yeah. Sweet. Okay, cool. Well, I hope you've heard a first date follow-up before, because if you haven't, that's what this is. We do a segment on the show where if you go out with somebody and you end up ghosting them, That person can email us to call you and find out why you're ghosting them.
Starting point is 00:05:31 And we got an email about you from somebody named Summer. Oh, okay. She said she liked you a lot, had a lot of fun, and wants to know why you're ghosting. Or would you mind telling us why you're ghosting Summer? Yeah, because I didn't go on a date with Summer. You didn't go on? You didn't go on? I mean, I thought I was going to, I was going on a date with summer.
Starting point is 00:06:02 But like, I went on a date with her words, Summer Nato. Summer Nado? Yeah, that's what she calls herself when she goes in the party mode, I guess. That's amazing. She switches from summer to Summer Nato, huh? Yeah, right? And so, like, yeah, yeah. Yeah, it was, uh, because, yeah, so we're like hanging out and then, you know, we're just drinking and then, uh, then she's getting like, she's getting hammered.
Starting point is 00:06:37 And then she's like interrupting, she's interrupted conversations with like party mode activated. And then at one point, at one point she said, um, she said, she said something like, uh, oh, uh, has anybody, has anybody checked the weather? channel because it looks like there's going to be a summer NATO. That's funny, though. Come on. I didn't they like that once in a while. It was okay, but she just kept drinking. It got to be kind of a shit show.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Sorry, I don't, sorry. That's fine. But then, oh my gosh. Okay, so we're looking, like we're looking at vacation photos and stuff. I mean, we're getting along, but those are getting into like that kind of belligerent territory but then we're like looking at photos vacation photos on my phone and then she grabs the phone and calls my mom and says that she's going to marry me yeah she told us about that she thought that's the reason you're ghosting her is it uh well i mean that was kind of funny and a little awkward
Starting point is 00:07:43 and if that was the only thing then i'd feel like i probably wouldn't have ghosted her but then like you know you know just reminder hey the the the summer nato thing and then, which at first was kind of funny, but she kept doing it. And then she, like, and then she showed off that she could do the splits and chug a beer at the same time. Okay, you guys are laughing. I can do that, too. She kept trying to, like, again, I feel like each of these things on their own would have been just whatever, but he did all of them. She must have really liked you.
Starting point is 00:08:19 And then she kept trying to, like, show off the chugging beer split thing to the point where, like, We got kicked. She got kicked out. Okay. Really? Yeah. So I didn't, I wasn't like, my roommate and I weren't, you know, were like, all right, well, I'm not going to just kind of like say peace out, whatever. So we went and got, you know, we went and got an Uber and made sure she got home safe. Okay, but she told us that you guys hooked up, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Well, we went back. Well, that wasn't, that wasn't me. What? Huh? It was my roommate. It was my roommate. Wow. I guess, I don't know. She had a problem with my vibe or something.
Starting point is 00:09:00 She said something about me being like a wet blanket when we got into the Uber or something like that. What? She just started making out my roommate. And then so we got back to our place. We were going to take her home, but we just went back to my place and I guess they hooked up. Wow. All right. So now I get why you're, yeah, I understand why you're not interested in another summer NATO.
Starting point is 00:09:19 That's different. Hey, Danny. Pretty great. For your roommate. I will let you know that Summer Nato is on the phone, though, and wants to talk to you. Oh. You feel the breeze. Danny, why aren't you calling me back?
Starting point is 00:09:35 We had a fun night. The first, like, 18% was fun. And then you started announcing your presence as Summer Nato. Yes, Summer Nito came out to party. It was so much fun. And just listen, because you can't. handle summer NATO. I mean, I'm not going to apologize for that. We had a good time. It was fun. We were having fun. You're not a, your friends were having fun. You're not a wrestler. What did you get to handle summer NATO? It's like, what? Yes, I'm in the summer when we're just like hanging out and just being kind of boring. And then when we go out and party, summer NATO comes out. And you know, it's not my problem. If you can't handle. Summernado.
Starting point is 00:10:26 That, you know what? I'm good. I don't need to be a storm chaser in my dating life, especially if it starts banging my roommate. Yeah. Like, in my defense, I was a little drunk and I thought it was making out with you. I mean, in my mind, it was me and you who hooked up. So.
Starting point is 00:10:50 Well, Danny, would you like another date with something? Summer will pay for it. No, I'm going to pass. Sorry. Aw. Sorry, Summer. No second date. That's cool.
Starting point is 00:11:05 That's cool. I get it. You know, I did hook up with your roommate. But actually, if you could just give him my number, that would be really great. Girl! Jeeble's first date follow-up. Number one hits. Millions of records sold.
Starting point is 00:11:25 Awards, sold out tours. You think that Jonas Brothers are satisfied? Nope, it's podcast time. We get to ask other people questions because we're sick and tired of being asked questions. Hey Jonas is available now, and their first guest is a big one. Paul Rudd. You know, Steve Carell is a great singer. Can you tell you not to audition at the office or something?
Starting point is 00:11:42 I told him. Whoa. We were filming Anchor Man. Clearly, I was the idiot. Thank God he didn't listen to me, right? Listen to Hey Jonas on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey everyone, this is Teddy Mellencamp. And Tamara Judge from Two T's in a Pod.
Starting point is 00:11:59 There's been one scandal that's consumed our lives these last couple of months. We're recapping the three parts Summer House reunion. And as always, we're being brutally honest. We're dissecting timelines, receipts, blind items, and previous episodes. Amanda and Wes, watch out. We're not going to be easy on you. Starting point is 00:12:28 So we turned it into a podcast. On Do You Need a Ride, we pick up our comedian friends, drive around Los Angeles, and discuss what's happening in the world around us. Cars are very rude to bicyclists, but in this case, it's a bicyclist going out of his way to get in the way of traffic. All you did was roll your window down. He almost hit that. It's like a talk show, but going 30 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:12:49 New episodes every Monday on the Exactly Right Network. Listen to Do You Need a Ride on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. And here's Heather with the weather. Well, it's beautiful out there, sunny and 75, almost a little chilly in the shade. Now, let's get a read on the inside of your car. It is hot. You've only been parked a short time, and it's already 99 degrees in there. Let's not leave children in the back seat while running errands.
Starting point is 00:13:16 It only takes a few minutes for their body temperatures to rise, and that could be fatal. Cars get hot, fast, and can be deadly. Never leave a child in a car. A message from Nitsa and the ad council. This is an IHeart podcast. Guaranteed human.
