off to call him and see if he'll tell us why he's ghosting her. Teresa, why don't you remind us again why you think Hudson might be ghosting you? I think he's ghosting me because he's scared to get mauled by a coooper. Wow. That sounded like a big bite, girl. So it's because you're like 17 years older than him, but he didn't know that until you actually went out on your date, right? And you think that might be scaring him off.

What's up? Oh, hey, guys. Hey. Have you ever heard the show before? No. You haven't. Okay. Cool.

Well, it's a radio show, and it's called the Jubal show. You know now. And we do a segment on our show and it's called the first date follow-up. So that's where if you go out on a date with somebody and you end up ghosting them, that person can email us to get you on the phone and find out why you're ghosting them. And we got an email about you from somebody. Oh, okay. All right.

Any idea? Is there somebody that you are ghosting right now that you think would want us to get a hold of you and find out why? I got a pretty good idea who it is. Who do you think it is? her name is Teresa yeah it is Teresa Teresa yeah

we talked to her a little bit about your date and she's confused she said she likes you a lot and doesn't understand why after you guys went out you completely just kind of like stopped talking to her would you mind telling us well

this is awkward but I think she's my mom what I'm sorry plot twist you think she's your mom why do you think that. Okay.

Like actually, you actually think she's like, is legit your mom or is that just like, does that like code for something? Like, mommy? No, like, yeah. No,

like actually my mom, like, okay, so I'm adopted and I have been searching for my birth parents for about a month now. Okay. And so there were things that Teresa mentioned that,

that, that makes me think she might be my mom. Really? Like if she's around the same age, where she's from, the fact that she played soccer in high school. And then, and here's the kicker, and this is what really freaked me out,

she mentioned that when she was younger, she had a baby and she gave it up for adoption. Oh. And now I'm thinking it was me she gave up. I would freak me out too. Wow. Yeah, so I'm like spiraling over here. You're attracted to your mom.

I don't want to like talk to her. Yeah, because she's older than you. Man, that'd be crazy if it was. Well, thank you for telling us why you're ghosting her. I guess I can kind of understand that. Yeah, thanks. But Hudson, Teresa is on the phone and wants to talk to you. Wait, what?

She's on the phone right now? Yeah. Okay. Well, that's awkward, but okay, okay. No, this is good. Now you can find out. Teresa. Oh, boy.

Oh, God. Please don't tell me I wanted to make out with my son. Do you feel like he could be your son? Oh, my gosh. I mean, what do you know about your birth mom? Here's what I know from the adoption agency. They told me that my mom was about 17 to 19 years older than me. She has dark brown hair and green eyes.

And Teresa had mentioned that she got migraines. And I was told in my medical history that migraines run in my family on my mom's side, and I also get them. And so now. Yeah. And so, yeah, it sounds a lot like you. Okay, but when's your birthday? It's August 13th.

Oh my God. That's the day I gave birth. No. What? Are you serious? Yeah. You've got to be kidding me. I'm not kidding you.

Is this? I'm not kidding you. I don't know this radio show. Is this a prank show? Am I being pranked right now? No. Not at all. That'd be messed up.

Not one bit. Oh, my gosh. Wow. Okay. So you were born. So Teresa, you did give up a child for adoption and all the things that he was just saying sound a lot like you. And then Hudson, your birthday is August 13th. And that's when you gave birth, Teresa. Yeah.

Yeah, that's my birthday, yeah. Okay. That's crazy. Well, you know, normally this is the point where we go, hey, do you guys want to go on another date? But I don't know. Would you guys want to get a paternity test done? Maternity test? Maternity, whatever it is, maternity test.

However you find out, you know, if you guys are related. My dog are freaking out over here. We'll pay for it or however to get it done if you guys will come back on the show and let us know. Oh, my gosh. I want to know. Yeah. Yeah, I definitely am down. Wow.

Okay. Well, congratulations then. You guys got another date at the doctor's office to find out. You can't see it. Hudson is your son and Teresa. You're Hudson's mom. That's crazy. So, all right, we'll figure it out and you guys will come back on the show when you get the results.

You know, no, I'm down. Okay. And Teresa? Yeah. I agree. I'm in shock. I definitely want to do the TNA test. And oh, my God, I think I'm wanting to make out with my son.

Oh, okay. That was the first day of follow up from a little over a week ago, and we've gotten the results back. They said it would take about two to five business days to get the results back to see if Hudson and Teresa are, in fact, mommy and son. Why? Yeah, yeah. But that's right. But we got the test back to see, and now they're on the phone to give us an update on that because we don't know what the results are. Hudson, Teresa.

Hey. Hey. Hi. Hi. That was crazy and everybody obviously has been talking about it since and everybody's waiting to find out if you guys did actually go on a date and your mom and son. We don't have to live there that long. We just want to know the good news if there is good news. Well, yeah, yeah.

So what happened? I have to say I was nervous as hell after our call. But we did the DNA test and Hudson is my son. Whoa. Whoa. Wow. Nuts. Man, Hudson, that's insane.

Wow. Yeah. It's, uh, I just want to be clear. Hudson and I will not be dating ever. Yeah. I'm glad you clear about that. Ever, ever, ever. I am so happy you guys did not make out on your first date.

So happy. I bet you guys are happier that you didn't. Yeah. My spidey senses were tingling. I was like, we're not going to kiss her. Good night on the first date. And I'm so glad I went with my instinct. I was, God, I don't think I could live with myself if we did that.

That was. That's crazy. I'm just, my mind is blown. I'm sure. I'm the odd. Yeah. It's nuts, man. And you said you'd been searching for your birth mom for about a month before you went on this date with Teresa.

And then she does a first day follow up. And finding out that that is your mom. Are you guys going to like hang out? Hang out? Yeah, I mean, how does that work? Oh, absolutely. We'll hang out in a very different context. Yeah.

If you think about it, you guys knew something was special about the other person, which is why you gravitated towards each other in the first place. Oh, that's a nice way of spinning it. There was a connection. It was just not the one we were thinking of it. Right, right, right. For sure. For sure.

And you guys are part of that connection too. You're part of our journey. Hey. This is really crazy. Come on. Yeah, I at first was excited because I thought he was hot. Now I'm just proud because I thought he was hot. Okay.
