Stinky? Yeah, and not the famous rap group, the Stinky Boys. Oh, yeah. An actual stinky boy. Really? I'll tell you why in just a second. But Aiden is on the phone right now for a first date follow up. Aiden, what's up? How are you? Hey, guys. What's up? Hey. What about yourselves? Not too bad. Probably better than you because

you're not going to call back from a girl that you went on a date with, huh? Yeah, I know. We'll get to the stinky boy comment and why I said that in just a second. But Aiden, do you think you were a stinky boy on your date? No, I actually, I wasn't. I think everything was going pretty great. Okay. I'll get to the reason why I said that in just a second, but. What's her name? Her name is Kat. So how did you and Kat meet? So we actually, we met online. You know, we've been talking for a few months. Everything's going great in my opinion. I'm a little confused as to why she's not like entering my calls or Entering any of my texts and it's just I'm just a little confused pretty much because you know

I thought everything was going great You know we were getting along fine, and we were talking and what'd you end up doing for your actual date? So she invited me over we were kind of talking about it like who like what should we do? She should go over my place were talking about it. What should we do? Should I go to my place? Should I go to hers? She threw up the idea that she would cook for us. She did. I went over.

Everything was great. We had some steak, mashed potatoes. Oh, delicious. Salad. Yeah, she's a great cook. Okay. We finished eating dinner. Then after we ate, I thought, oh, we'll probably watch TV or play a board game or whatever. So the date, you thought it was going well enough where

dinner would move to the couch. That's, that's what I thought. I thought we would just keep hanging out and, you know, continue the date as it was planned, I guess, but it didn't go that way. Okay. And how did the date finish? Did you guys have a kiss or a hug or what happened? Yeah. So literally, literally right after dinner, she kind of like got up and started cleaning like plates. And she started like, I guess being in her own world. And as I sat there on the dinner table, she just kind of like showed me the way out. Like she kind of was walking already towards the door. So she kicked you out. It sounds like she kicked you out.

And her sofa is like right, right, right next to the door. So I kind of thought, okay, we're going to watch TV. So I was kind of leaning towards like the sofa area, but she was like towards the door. Oh, my God. Yeah, I just kind of went up to her, and she opened her arms to like give me like a hug. Do you guys remember MTV Cribs?

It was like the end of Cribs when they're like, you ain't got to go home, but you got to get the hell up out of here. Yeah, exactly. It was just awkward. I thought that everything was going good, and she just hugged me. She said go home, but you got to get the hell up out of here. Yeah, exactly. It was just awkward. I thought that everything was going good, and she just hugged me. She said, well, thank you so much for coming. We'll talk soon. And I, like, not even a kiss, by the way.

Not that I was expecting a kiss. It would have been nice. Maybe a kiss on the cheek or something. Yeah, it would have been nice to kind of at least have that opportunity. But, no, man, I didn't. She didn't really give it to me. So why did, at the beginning, why why did you call you a stinky boy you know what guys I mean I don't I mean the only thing I can think of is that I like I didn't shower before like getting to her place I didn't shower you didn't shower on

a first date yeah and that's why you put in your email you thought that maybe the reason you didn't shower was the reason not getting a call back that's why you put in your email, you thought that maybe the reason you didn't shower was the reason you're not getting a call back. That's why. But then you said you didn't stink. Stinky boy. Well, you know what, guys? I mean, I didn't stink. You know, I just felt like, you know, I felt off. You know, I just didn't get around to the chance of doing so.

I didn't get around to showering. Usually my first thing to do is to shower. You know, I'm going on a first date. I'm going to jump in the shower. I'm going to get off. Because your email said that you think the reason that you aren't getting a call back, the only thing you could think of was not showering. That's why I just assumed you were a stinky boy.

That would be a good reason. It's more about the routine than the stink. Yeah, no, I just, I didn't really think of it. You know, I just, I didn't shower before. So that's the only thing I can think of right now as to maybe why she's ignoring me or maybe not texting me back. I mean. Okay.

Well, she's, she hasn't said a word to you or texted you or nothing no like literally like the only thing she did was like you know like on the iphone you can like like someone's text like i texted her like hey hope your day's going great and she literally like liked it like with the thumbs up oh god wow yeah so i was yeah so i was okay like what do i say to that you know because my i'm already like the one texting her and she's not responding. I don't want to seem like a creep. No, yeah. You can't respond after that.

It's conversation over. Yeah. It's kind of like, yep. My day's going good. Screw you. Yeah. I mean, that's what it feels like to me. All right.

Well, we'll try to figure it out for you. We'll play a song, come back and then call her and see if you not showering is the reason she's not getting back to you. All right. I almost feel like getting your text thumbed up is worse than someone just not responding at all. Yes. Definitely. If you're just joining us, Aiden is on the phone for a first date follow-up.

He wants to call a girl named Kat. They met online and she actually made him dinner. He thought everything went great. But at the end of dinner, she just kind of shut it down and kicked him out of the house, basically. And he's wondering why. She hasn't talked to him since. But he did send her a text message after their date. And all she did was just give it a thumbs up with no response.

Oh, my. Aiden, are you about ready to get Kat on the phone and see what happened? Oh, man, I'm a little nervous, to be honest, after you guys just said that. A little thumbs up is a bad sign. I'm just, yeah, I'm ready. And the only thing you can think of is the fact that you didn't shower and so maybe you were just off a little bit. I don't know. I should have showered. I didn't get around to doing it.

Well, maybe we can get you another date and you can shower before that date and see if it does better. Here we go. I'm going to dial her phone number right now. Hello? I was looking for Kat. Speaking. Hey, Kat, this is Jubal from The Jubal Show. It's a radio show hosted by me.

Well, we're calling because we do a segment on the show where if you go on a date with someone and then end up not calling them back after or thumbs upping their text and not talking to them after,

they can email us to get you on the phone and find out what happened. So you recently met up with a dude named Aiden. Yeah. Yeah. And Aiden emailed us because he said he really liked you, told us a little bit about your date, but said you're not talking to him now. Also said he sent you a text like,

how's your day going? And all you did was just basically like the text and not respond to him, which is cold. The black death. Yeah. So that's, that's, that's why you're calling me? Yep.

Exactly it. Wow. So why is it that you're not calling him back? Uh, you know, I just didn't really think he was into it. What do you mean by that? He just seemed like, kind of like out to lunch, I guess. Like he wasn't really talking, just staring into space. Really? He said he thought everything went great.

And then all of a sudden you just cleaned up and kind of booted him out. No. So it was like we had dinner and I don't know, we had been texting for a while and the conversation was great then. And it was just like in person he was just not he was like checked out like i he was it was like pulling teeth like getting him to say anything oh wow really on a first date normally that happens like after people have been together for a while but like you never talked to me yeah yeah no it was definitely strange i wasn't expecting it so i

just figured like okay he's not really into it so, let's cut our losses and bye bye. So it had nothing, it had nothing to do with his scent because he mentioned that he didn't take a shower before and he was worried about his smell. Oh God. Um, no scent that I picked up on like that. Okay. So it was just the fact that he seemed like, did he seem like he didn't want to be there? That's kind of what it sounds like you're explaining. Yeah, it was like he was disinterested. Like, okay, well then don't be here. Wow. I'm just really surprised that he even called you guys.

Like I never assumed that he would even want to talk to me. Well, he does want to talk to you. Yeah. And apparently he wanted to talk to you then, but didn't on your date. And he's actually on the other line listening right now and probably wants to talk to you unless he's going to sit there quietly. Hey, Kat. Hey.

I'm kind of like thrown off just hearing that because I thought everything was going great and you kind of just, you said I was there kind of not talking and I was looking up into space. Yeah, you were just totally checked out. Like, I just felt like you didn't want to be there. I mean, you know, we were having a good time. You know, I even complimented you on your food. It was delicious. And then I started to ask you a few questions,

which you started to, like, respond and stuff. So we were talking. Yeah, but I mean, you did compliment food and then asked, like, a bunch of random questions and then, like, didn't even listen long enough to hear any of my answers. I was paying attention. I mean, I think you were saying something about like your family coming over next week. Something about, did you notice that Aiden,

you didn't even really have a solid recap of what she was saying. You said, I think she would, you were saying something about. Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I mean, to be honest, I was a little distracted, maybe a little too distracted. It's because I couldn't stop thinking about something, that's all. Okay. What's that? I was actually in the middle of a campaign with playing Call of Duty with some of my guy friends before.

Oh, no. So we were just about to enter this really big tournament, and I was the leader of this campaign and stuff. And then I remembered that I had to go over to over your house and we were going to have a date. So I just kind of like left my house kind of thinking about the game because, you know, it was just bad news from there. You know, everything we lost, by the way. So it was just a disaster. So I was kind of like thinking about it, but I was trying not to think about it. You know, I was trying to be there present with you. I think you looked gorgeous.

And, you know, it was definitely wrong of me to kind of had my mind somewhere else where it shouldn't have been. Oh, God. On the battlefield. You're telling me that you were distracted on our first date because you couldn't stop thinking about playing Call of Duty with your boys? Well, Kat, it wasn't just like a game. It was a campaign. It's Call of Duty. Right, yeah. Yeah, it's an online tournament,

so it's like a bunch of other players competing at once to kind of get these loots and these gifts to level up. I think it was better when I thought you weren't into it. Well, Kat, no. What do you mean? Well, let's ask her because I think I know what that means. Aiden. Kat, would you like to go out with Aiden on another date? We'll pay for it.

You know, if she's that distracted by Call of Duty, I don't think it was going to work out anyway. Oh, no. I probably wouldn't either want to go out with somebody who's that distracted with video games either. Wow. Really? I mean, what should I do next time? Just not tell anybody that I play Call of Duty? What did I do? Like, I'm so confused here. Yeah, maybe on the next date you go on. I mean, not with me, obviously. But, you know, just, like, leave Call of Duty at home. Maybe pay attention to what the person is telling you.
