The reason the guy on the phone for today's First Date Follow-Up thinks that he's not getting a call back is hilarious. Okay, what is it? And something that I can identify with call back is hilarious. Okay. What is it?

And something that I can identify with. Uh-oh. Okay. And Alex, you're going to know exactly what he's talking about. Okay. Because what he put in his email is so funny to me and I hope I'm not overselling it. And when we get there, you guys are like, that was lame. Okay.

But I don't want to tell you yet. First, we'll talk about the date and then I want him to tell you why he thinks he's not getting a call back. He filled up. Yeah. His name is Rich. Rich, what's up, man? How are you? I'm doing good. How tell you why he thinks he's not getting a call back. He filled up. Yeah, his name is Rich. Rich, what's up, man? How are you?

I'm doing good. How are you? Not too bad. Thank you for your email. And before we get to the reason that you think you're not getting a call back from, what's her name, by the way? Whitney. From Whitney. Okay.

Whitney. Okay. Whitney. Before we get to the reason you think you're not getting a call back from Whitney, first of all, how'd you guys meet? I met her on Tinder and, you know, things were, I know I get the whole, you know, reputation Tinder has, but we had a lot in common. She's actually one of the first girls that like, you know, she liked football, working out, she's like, you know, just like the same movies, TV shows, same sense of humor.

So your hobbies and interests portion on Tinder matched up pretty well. That's funny, actually. Take four to the cop. Sorry. It's just like totally like, oh, yeah, because you click the things that you like. Yeah, for sure. All right. So what did you guys actually do for a date?

I had her over my house. You know, I was going to make her dinner and stuff like that. You know, we were on the same page with how, you know, the night was going to go. You did meet on Tinder. So, I mean, yeah. And she came to your house. And there's expectations.

Exactly. So was this one of those things where it's like you come over, we have dinner and then we have dessert in the bedroom on the bed, but not actually dessert. I don't know if you can understand what I mean by that. You can use food. Nope. You got it. So did you guys end up hooking up yeah we did hey all right all right so she's not calling you back now did it seem just like it was a hookup thing you know or did she seem like she actually enjoyed herself because it sounds like you actually liked her if you want to call her back or you just want some more dessert.

Yeah. You know, I thought the date went great. And, you know, I didn't think it was just going to be like a one night thing, just like a hookup. And that was it. You know, I really liked her a lot. Okay. So now let's get to the thing that I wanted you to say and talk about. The reason that you put in your email

that you think she's not calling you back, to me, is hilarious, and to you, might be embarrassing, but you should just embrace it. Why don't you tell everybody listening right now, and Alex, and English Evan, and remember, I said I can identify with this, why you think you're not getting a call back from her.

So, I think it's because I'm loud. You're loud? Like your laugh is loud or just you're like a loud person? No, not like that I'm just like a loud person. It's because I'm loud in bed, like when we're talking.

Wait, hold on. So that means you're loud in bed? Loud and proud. Loud and proud. What the hell? I am louder than any person I've ever been with. You're a moaner? I am. And a screamer.

And a shouter. I mean, when the kids aren't home. Jesus. I mean, seriously. I'm sure I've probably blown Alex's eardrums out a few times. Oh my God. It's true. I'm like, oh God, ow.

My ears are ringing. That's funny. God, it's that loud? I can't even hear right now afterwards. And I'm a quiet person normally. Very quiet. Anyway, this isn't about me. It's about you, Rich, being loud in bed.

Well, you guys have something in common. Yes, we do. So as one fellow moaner, as a screamer to another, that's the reason you think she's not calling you back? Because of that? That's the only thing I could think of, yeah.

I mean, I thought that would be super awkward on a first date. First time hooking up, and he's screaming and especially depending on what you said really loud. So that's the only thing that you can think of why she's not calling you back. So how did the date end?

After we hooked up she just, her and I just kind of were, we just said she had to go and it wasn't like she slept over so she just, you know, got her stuff and said goodbye. It seemed nice but I slept over. So she just, you know, got her stuff and said goodbye. It seemed nice, but then think that it was, you know, like an awkward goodbye. I just want to know why.

Like, where did you go? What happened? Why aren't you talking to me? All right, well, we'll play a song, come back and then call her and see if it was your loud sounds of passion that are causing you not to get a call back, right? All right. Sounds good. We'll do it next.

It's the Jewel Show. In the middle of today's first date follow-up, and if you missed the first part, you shouldn't have because there was a very funny thing that happened. What were you doing? But Rich is on the phone, and Rich isn't getting a call back from a girl named Whitney. They actually met on Tinder, and he invited her over for dinner and some late night snacks. And by snacks, I mean hooking up in the bedroom. And that happened.

He thought it was great. He actually really liked her a lot so much that he wants to see her again. But after she left his place, she hasn't called him, hasn't talked to him, nothing. She's ghosting him. And he doesn't know why. The only reason that he can think of is the fact. Rich, I'm just going to let you say it again. Why don't you think she's calling you back?

Because I'm louder than that. Because Rich is a screamer. Rich, could you give us an example? You know what? If you want to hear it, there's only one way and that's to come here and say it to yourself.

How bad do you want to hear it sound? Not that bad. Let's carry on. That's the reason you think she's not calling you back? That's the only thing I could think of, yeah. I mean, I thought that would be super awkward on her first time hooking up and he's screaming. Yeah, Alex does have a good point. That could be awkward on a first date,

like after you get to know someone. Yeah, it was definitely way after, before you started screaming. You should have your face in a pillow on the first date. I really don't know what went wrong. You're saying you guys hit it off, but I've heard that women can sometimes fake it. Not personal experience, but they have the ability to do that. Is that maybe what you think she was doing?

Fake it till you make it to the end of the date? Oh, yeah. She could have showed up and been like, oh, you don't look like your pictures or something. I don't think it's any of that. We ended up hooking up, so I don't think it's any of that because she ended up hooking up so I don't think it was like any of that. Alright, man. Well, we're about to give Whitney a call and see if we can figure out if that's the reason she's not

Oh, God, you screwed up the rhythm again. No way. Yes. Oh, yes it is. I love you guys. Oh, that's awesome. All right. That's usually not the response.

Yeah, usually not the response at all. Usually people are like, who? What? Huh? Why is this going on? I don't know who you are. What's a Jubal? What am I saying?

I'm in the middle of something. Yeah. What's a jubile is a common one that you get. A what? So you actually listen to the show. Absolutely. That kind of freaks me out about why you're calling me this morning. What's going on? Well, it's not a prank. Yeah, it's not a phone prank because we told you who we were right out of the gate. Do you know the segment that we do where if you go on a date with someone and then don't call them back, they can email us to ask you why? Okay, that's what this is?

Yes, that's exactly what this is. So we got an email about you. Okay, so it was Rich that emailed you? Yeah, very good guess. So, is that the last person you hung out with? Well, I mean, I don't go around hanging out with guys all the time, so it wasn't that hard for me to figure out.

Well, we're dying to know why you ghosted him. Yeah, why did you ghost Rich? Okay. Gosh, guys, I don't know if I can say on this stuff on the radio, but it's super embarrassing for him. Embarrassing for him? Well, he's the one who emailed us and wants to know.

Yeah. Well, I mean, there's certain details that pertain to the story that I don't know if he wants me to say online. But, I mean, if he's willing and able, then I guess we can talk. I think he's pretty open about stuff. I'll tell you why I think he's open about stuff. Because you know how we do this. We talk to him about your date. So we know how the evening went from his side.

He thinks the reason that you're not calling him back, which could be something that you think is embarrassing, is because he, when you guys were hooking up, said that he was very loud. And he tends to be a very loud guy in the bedroom. And he was very open about telling us that. He told us all that. If that's the reason, you can telling us that. Yeah, so he told us all that. If that's the reason, you can tell us that. But it doesn't sound like he's embarrassed by much. He's definitely loud.

Like, I had a German shepherd once who would howl every time the police were firing for duos. Oh, my God. Wow. So it was a lot like that. Oh, my God. But, you know, that didn't bother me as bad as he's a nice guy. He my God. No. But, you know, that didn't bother me as bad as he's a nice guy. He really is

and we had a great dinner and when he took off his shirt, Uh-huh. Uh-huh. He had man boobs. It's not man boobs if that's what you're thinking

but he had a huge tattoo right across his belly. Oh, okay. You didn't like it? Well, you wouldn't either, honey. It said thug passion. Oh, okay. You didn't like it? Well, you wouldn't either, honey. It said thug passion.

Thug? Thug passion? What? Was he a thug? Is Tupac back alive and you went on a date with him? Thug life? I know you had thug life,

but thug passion across his stomach? A passionate thug? It was huge. I mean... Rich! Are you a thug? Oh, my God.

That's right. You guys have him on the other line, don't you? Yep. Hi, Whitney. Oh, hi, Rich. Look, I can explain. I bet you can. I'd love to hear how you explain that away.

Yeah, explain why you have thug passion tattooed on your stomach. Well, you know, first of all, let me just explain that I'm not a fan of it myself. When I got it, I was a kid. I was actually in high school at the time. Are you like a Tupac fan or something in high

school? Did you grow up in the 90s? Huge Tupac fan. Yeah, look dude, if we were in high school together and you were my buddy and you got that tattoo at the time would have been like that's dope yeah but you're not trying to sleep with him no oh my god what in the world were you thinking rick didn't your mother tell you no or something didn't anybody counsel you not to do that um i didn't ask for counseling prior to that decision. Look, thugs don't ask permission. They just get thug passion tattoos.

Okay, so obviously you don't like the tattoo, but it's a bad tattoo enough to not talk to someone ever again if you liked them. You can get a tattoo removed. Yeah. If you like them enough, then I feel like you can get past that. I know, but what if we go long term, you know? What if we go to a pool party at one of my friend's houses or something?

Well, I mean, if I had to go swimming, you know, I normally wear a t-shirt. I'm not exactly proud of this. Look, Whitney, I'm planning on getting it removed. I'm in the process of going through with it anyways, and, you know, it's going to be done completely.

So, you know, it's not going to be a problem. I'd love to see you again. All right. Well, let me ask you then, Whitney, would you like to go on another date with Thug Passion? We will pay for it. I mean, he's getting it removed, he said. Did you like him? Well, I do like Rich.

I think if we can leave the Thug at home, without the thug passion, I think I'd be okay. Oh, well. Okay. That sounds good. So is that a yes? Yes. Wow. Okay, but it's a yes as long as he's really actually getting his thug passion tattooed.

Thug passion tattoo removed at some point. So just the passion, got it. Just passion. Well, we do know you have the passion based on what we know about you, Rich. A lot of it.
