190 degrees. Alex, I like mine lukewarm, so I can drink it right away. Alex likes hers melt-your-face-off hot. That's a woman thing, though, because even in baths and stuff, the water, like they'll have it like super hot, like melting. Showers, yes. Yeah.

Or do you like your coffee sensual hot? What? What's that? Yeah, what is that? That's where it's steaming. Because of why? And full bodied.

Right. And full of, anyway, let's just get to the first date. Let's stick up. On the phone right now is Dante for a first date follow-up, and the reason I went with the hot

coffee angle is because that's where Dante met the woman that he wants to call today. Apparently, they met at a coffee shop, they went out on a date, and now she's not calling him back, and he doesn't know why. What's up, Dante? How are you? Hey, I'm good. Thanks for having me. Before we get into the date, how long has it been since you saw Hannah?

That's her name, right? Hannah? Yeah, Hannah. It's like just over a week. Over a week. And how many times have you reached out to her since? Um, 10. I feel like that's not much. Whoa, that's not normal. And she hasn't responded at all to any of them? Not at all. Yeah, that's why I'm calling you guys. Because, yeah.

After the first couple, you're being ghosted because of whatever. And then after the sixth text in a week, you're being ghosted now because of the texting. I'm pretty sure about that. After the seventh, that's when the restraining order is going to come. Your email said that you guys met at a coffee shop. Tell us about that. Yeah, so we met at a coffee shop. Tell us about that. Yeah, so we met at a coffee shop, and the reason we started talking was because the barista,

I guess that's what you call them, he confused our orders. So, yeah, we got to the counter. I'm like, this isn't my drink, and she went up and was like, this isn't mine. And we sort of hit it off, and we ended up talking right then. We sat at a table, and we hit it off, we we ended up talking right then we started we sat at the table we hit it off and then like asked her for her phone number and then they mixed up your coffee and then you guys actually sat down right there and started talking yeah yeah that's rare you got some cojones on you yeah i thought like you know usually people have something to do right

you know they're either like they're there for a reason they're gonna like work on something or whatever but no she was too down to have a conversation right away and i thought wow this is a real neat cute so you know we didn't talk for that long so i thought let's have a proper date and she said well let's go to that same coffee shop and i thought that that was cute, you know? Wait, she wanted to go back to the same coffee shop for your actual date. Yeah. And they serve food there, too. So I thought, okay, let's just, you know, it's kind of sweet, right?

It's where we met. So, and that went well, I thought. And I have not heard from her since. Well, I mean, what's going through your head, though? I mean, there's only one thing, but, I mean, you know how, like, coffee sometimes makes you want to go to the bathroom? Oh, yeah. Yeah, like, I won't have gone for a week, and then I'll take a sip of coffee, and I'm like, all right, everything's working now. I don't have to run.

Flush out. Oh, wow. So that's what happened with me. And, I mean, I was in the bathroom for, like, maybe five or ten minutes. Well, that's So that's what happened with me. And I mean, I was in the bathroom for like maybe five or ten minutes. Well, that's not that long. Five or ten minutes. That's a long time. Okay, but if you need to go to the bathroom, it's a regular thing to do every day.

I'm sure that she's probably, he's probably pooping. Did you say anything about it when you got back? I made like a joke, like, don't worry, I washed my hands. Hey, that's a good joke. I like that. You might have liked that, but I don't know if a woman on a date would have liked that. You're like my hands hey that's a good joke I like that you might have liked that but I don't know if a woman on a date would have liked that because you're like oh that's funny and Alex an actual woman is like gross I mean she laughed at that I thought you know yeah probably because it was a pity laugh how did things end with you guys like a hug like I have hugged sort of like I'll see you soon. yeah, let's do it. And then, I haven't heard from her for like over a week now. Who initiated the hug? Actually, she did.

I mean, I don't want to like cross any boundaries, but she initiated the hug. Okay. So she hugged you and then you texted her after and did she text you back at all

I don't know if you're going to get another date. We're about to call her and see if we can figure it out for you. In my defense, some of my texts were just like cute little like meme things. You know, they weren't. Yeah, that might be. Even if you're not getting a response. Have you like texted her pretending to be texting when your friend's like, oh, my bad. That was the wrong number.

I meant to text her to someone else just to see if she'll respond. No, I hadn't thought of that. I should have thought of that before calling you guys. It wouldn't have worked. It wouldn't have worked. No, I just want to see if you had done it because I feel like people do that. Only reason that Dante thinks

that he might be getting ghosted is because when they were having coffee, coffee makes him have to go to the bathroom. And he went to the bathroom and he was gone for quite a while. And then when he came back to the table, he made a joke about washing his hands. She laughed at it,

but probably not the best timing. And she did hug him at the end of the date but Alex thinks it's a pity hug I mean it's pretty normal yeah what a pity hug?

Well, have you ever heard one of the first eight follow-ups before? No, I haven't, but I mean, I listen at weird times, so... Alright, what it is, I listen at weird times. All right. What it is, is if you go out on a date with someone and then you end up ghosting them, they can email us to get you on the phone and find out what happened. And you recently went out on a date with a guy named Dante. Okay.

Yeah. I know Dante. Well, Dante emailed us because he said that he really liked you and he said that he really enjoyed having coffee with you, but now you're not calling him back and he doesn't know why. He also shared with us that he's texted you 10 times since your date and you haven't responded. So that's a lot. And we told him that, but other than that, is there a reason that you don't want to see Dante again? I mean, that is true. He has texted me a lot, and I have not responded.

I don't really want him to know. Sounds bad. Well, he's asking to know. He reached out to us, and he knows that it could possibly be something that he might not want to hear. Is it that bad? I mean, I don't think it's bad, but other people probably do.

Okay, so you don't want to tell us? I mean, what are you going to do with the information? Well, he wants us to report back to him, and obviously tell him why you're not calling him back so he can learn for the future. Well, it's nothing he did. So, okay.

Well, now we're curious. We don't want to know. Like, look, no, this is a judgment free zone. Unless you need to be judged.

now I'm super curious. I don't have a boyfriend, no. Are you going to tell this girl or not? Yeah, he's... Okay, well, so... Okay, my ex works at the coffee shop that we met at. Uh-huh. And so he was actually working the day that we met.

And... Yeah. and so he was actually working the day that we met, and yeah, and so whenever we were going to go out for the second date, I really, really wanted to go back there because I wanted to make him jealous to know that I'm going out with this guy a second time. Oh, my God. Wow. He didn't know we had just met.

X's place of work. To make him jealous. Yeah. To get him back. Oh my gosh. You don't want to actually date Dante? Not really. I just needed like someone to like just show him that like hey I can get back

out there too. So did it work? Yeah. It did? And you guys are back together? I mean no we're not back together but he texted me so he clearly thought I was there with him. What did he say? again and so he must have thought we've been dating a couple like been on a couple dates okay so then did you break up with your ex or did he break up with you? well it was mutual but okay I mean it was more so me, but...

And you just wanted to make him jealous? Yeah. Okay, so do you not want him back then? I don't know. I'm just kind of like playing the field, you know? Okay, you're playing with everyone. So you just used Dante to make him jealous, and now he wants to get back with you because now he's jealous that you were dating someone else, that you want to date with someone else,

but you don't really want him back. You're just kind of messing with everybody right now. Yeah. Okay. Well, we're kind of messing with you and I'll just let you know how, because Dante is actually on the phone listening and wants to talk to you. Oh, you guys, I didn't know he was actually on the phone. Yeah.

Would that have changed your description? Yeah, we forgot to tell you. Sorry about that. All right. This kind of sucks. I wish you could have just told me. I mean, instead of just letting me drift and not know what's going on. Well, I mean, I'm sorry.

But, I mean, I had a good time. I mean, we can still be friends and stuff. I don't mind going back to the coffee shop with you. Oh, no. Stay away from the coffee shop. Don't do that. Hannah, would you like a second date with Dante? We will pay for it.

I'll go out one more time with him. You will? This is so weird. Yes. I mean, it sounds fun. It's just super chill. We're not actually going to be in a relationship, so it's fine. But you guys might be dating.

That would be considered another date. You could still make your ex jealous because you said you don't want to get back with him anyway. That's true. But dating is, like, different to everyone. So, I don't know what Dante thinks of dating. All right. Dante, are you willing to be that for Hannah? I'm going to say no.

I'm kind of, like, more interested in dating. Right. You know? I'm glad you say no. I'm kind of like more interested in dating someone, you know? I'm glad you said that, Dante. You want a more serious thing. Yeah. And I don't know. I mean, I get why you did what you did, Hannah, but it's kind of just left a bad taste in my mouth. And if you're not interested in dating me, I kind of don't want to waste my time.

Exactly, yeah. Well, that's a bit of a downer. Well, I mean, you guys are just in different places as far as dating goes. Yeah. And hey, Hannah.
