that sent us an email for a first date follow-up, and he thinks the reason that he's not getting a call back from the girl he went on a date with is because he's a shy dude. Okay. So this being a radio show that involves talking, either we're going to find out why he's getting

ghosted or just me, Alex, and English Evan are going to have a conversation for a little while and see if he talks at all. Yeah, I can relate though. I'm pretty shy. Yeah, I'm also shy in person. All three of us, might surprise you, are very shy in person. So maybe that'll make Mike feel more comfortable because his email stressed that he's a very shy dude.

Mike, you there? Hey, yes, I'm here. Hey, Mike. Hey, Mike. Just so you know, you're among other shy people. Yeah. You are one of us. Yeah.

Okay. So I'm going to need you to talk a little bit, but just know we, we understand being shy and not wanting to talk a whole lot in person and all that. We're socially awkward. We are very socially awkward. So this is going to be very awkward phone call probably, uh, this part at least.

So Mike, tell us a little bit about the girl that's not calling you back. What's her name? Uh, her name's Kendall. Kendall. All right. Okay.

So tell us about your date with Kendall. Why do you think that she's not calling you back? Well, first of all, tell us about the date. Then tell us that. I mean, I thought the day went really well. Okay. So what did you guys do? You definitely are a shy dude. I can tell. I do the same thing in conversations. I can see people like, um, when I'm actually out meeting people, they're like, are you any more to that? You done? So I need a little more info from you. We went to a steakhouse that I really like, and I thought it was, you know, she had everything that I like, you know. She's good conversation. She was really pretty, obviously. So, I mean, so you seem, since you're shy, I can maybe assume that you're pretty introverted.

So is she the same or is she extroverted? I think she's more extroverted, which may have been why she's not reaching back out to me. Okay. Okay. But this is our first date. I mean, did it seem like it went okay, even though she's extroverted? Did you guys have, did you talk to her at all? Yeah. I mean mean we talked the you know the conversation was good okay how long have you guys been speaking before

you actually went on the date um we've been talking for a couple weeks okay just kind of uh just chatting you know and you know maybe she got the idea as like more extroverted because i feel like i'm pretty funny and chat you know and i guess maybe in person i just maybe threw her off yeah sometimes emojis can really make you seem like a completely different person if you use them correctly yeah so hilarious yeah it's so much easier to text though you know and like over text when you're a shy person because when i used to be single and date I would meet these guys in person and I would be great before you know on text and everything and I meet up and I just would be really quiet because I was so nervous and then we will leave and then I would

be back to like my flirty self on tags I'm like what the heck you know what's going on yeah I mean that's like exactly how I am so that's why you think she's not calling you back because you were too shy? Yeah. I mean, maybe she didn't think I was interested. Maybe the conversation wasn't good enough. So there was no point during the date where you thought that she maybe changed her attitude or like seemed different at all? Yeah. I mean, she was like talkative at first, but then when we got our meal, it's like just kind of, she just stopped talking, I guess. Maybe because she was eating. That could be why. Was that why?

I mean, she was like really talkative, you know, before we got our meal. And then after we got our meal, it was just like, I don't know, I guess the conversation just kind of died. It's kind of like, I don't know if you guys have ever been been that situation where like the conversation gets awkward and somebody's like so oh yeah exactly what you're talking about yeah when that happens i scrape the bottom of the barrel i'm like so the color red's cool yes yeah hey there's uh outside there's weather all kinds of it what do you think about that huh all right so all in all you just feel like maybe the fact that you're shy either made it seem like you don't care or it's just awkward for her and that's why you think you might

not be getting a call back. Yeah. Alright, we'll play a song, come back, and then call her and see if we can figure it out, okay? Alright, sounds good. Yeah. Alright, we'll do it next. It's the Jewel Show. So, how's the feet today

Not so good in conversation. He thinks that might be the problem. Maybe he seemed like he didn't care or it was just like full of just awkwardness for her because she seemed a little more outgoing. Hello? Hi, may I speak to Kendall, please? Hi, this is She. Kendall, how are you? This is Jubal from The Jubal Show. Okay, what is this in regards to? Well, we're calling you because we do a segment on our show where if you go out on a date with someone and then end up not calling them back after, they can email us to get you on the phone and figure out what happened.

And we got an email from one of our listeners about you. Huh? Oh, my God. So one of our listeners emailed us about you. Okay. And his name is Mike. Good old Mike. Good old Mike.

What does that mean? Yeah. I feel weird talking about it, honestly, if he's going to hear. Well, he, I mean, he emailed us, so he really does want to know. And we let him know that, like, you know, a lot of the time it's probably not, you know, good for them, and they probably might not want to hear it, but he said that he's willing to, no matter what it is. Yeah, he just wants to know if he did something wrong or, you know, why you're not calling him back. Can you tell us?

Well, I mean, okay. I mean, this is going to sound weird tell us? Wow, I mean, okay. I mean, this is going to sound weird, but I'm pretty sure he's a serial killer or something. What? Yes, that does sound weird. That does. Okay, I mean, so he's really shy or whatever. Are you over-exaggerating about this

serial killer thing? Were you hangry? I mean, I might be, but I feel that I'm not. So what did he do that made you think he was a serial killer? Murder somebody? Yeah, because that's a dead giveaway. Yeah, that would be obvious. I mean, sometimes you can't tell. The best ones. Yeah, I mean, I watch a lot of serial killer documentaries. Just like we all do. And the like. Yeah, of course. Naturally. But I mean, first things first, he doesn't talk very much and i mean like to the

extent like i would ask him something and we would be talking and he would just abruptly stop and just quietly pause and it just okay it was awkward he did say he told us that he was shy yes um i will say a lot of serial killers have been described as shy that's what I'm saying so doesn't necessarily make him a serial killer though because he's shy and also he said that he thinks that maybe why you're not calling him back because it was awkward because he is a shy dude but he said he opens up you know over time oh my gosh um I mean I'm really empathetic like I mean I can be a little shy. So it really wasn't that that was the issue. Okay.

I mean, on top of the shyness, first I noticed his phone lit up from across the table. Like, I guess someone had texted him or something. And his wallpaper, I mean, upside down, it appeared to me like it was like a picture of dead animals or something. I know it sounds weird. That's a telltale sign. No, murderers do actually start on animals. They start with animals. Yeah, they do. Yes, they do. And I love animals, so this was like a little

red flag for me. That's a big red flag. Okay, and you're positive it was a picture of dead animals? I mean, I'm not positive, but it really looked that way, and I tried to glance longer, but I didn't want it to be obvious. What animal did you think it was? I mean, some kind of feline-looking thing.

Was it sleeping, though? Maybe it wasn't dead? No, it was not sleeping. You could see the blood. Oh, well, sometimes cats bleed when they sleep. Okay. Okay, so, like, that's the only thing, though? Okay, so there was that. And then when we ordered, so we went to a steakhouse that he recommended or whatever, and we both ordered, and he ordered his steak blue.

I don't know if you know what that is, but I work in a restaurant and that's like rarer than rare. So it's like literally bleeding. Literally bleeding. I like my steaks that way and I am not a serial killer anymore. You like it blue? Oh, great. No, I'm not a serial killer, but I do like my steaks blue. I think it's delicious. No, that's wrong. That doesn't mean he's a killer.

Chewy. It's good. We like had bread for the table and he was just dipping it in the blood and nearly stopping drinking it. Oh, okay. That's too far. That gave me not a pleasant thought in my head. It was nauseating.

So, I mean, the picture on his phone plus how he had ordered the steak plus the blood situation plus on top of his shyness and him hardly talking and just looking at me the whole day and like hardly responding it was just like a little bit too much okay it's quite well yeah it is i google something real quick yes you know i do have to admit i didn't hear a thing you just said because i was looking up serial killers and their zodiac signs yeah and

there's four of them all the main serial there's like 30 on this list right here. You're either Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, or Virgo, which is Jubal. I said not anymore. I'm a Sagittarius. You're a Sag? Well, I mean, usually it's men. Yeah. I think you're good.

Well, I mean, I guess we should... We need to find out what his zodiac sign is. Yeah, we do need to find that out. Don't you want to know what his is? I mean, I would be curious, I guess, but honestly, I don't really want to know too much more about him. Let's just ask him because he's been on the phone listening and he wants to talk to you. Oh, my God.

Mike, are you a serial killer? No, I'm not a serial killer. Hi, Kendall. Hi, Mike. Mike, did you hear that whole recap of your date from her end? Yeah. Okay. And do you have any response to the serial killer allegations?

Yeah. What do you think? I'm definitely not a serial killer. I can't believe you thought that. I mean, I didn't officially think that, but it was just a multitude of things that, you know, accumulated. So what do you have to say for yourself? I mean, I don't know what would make you think that. Well, if you heard what she said, she said that you have pictures of dead animals.

Is your screensaver on your phone? Yeah, could you maybe tell us why? She said it was a cat. Like, it's an elk. I don't know where you got cat from. Elk's quite a bit bigger than a cat. I mean, it just looks like a big, furry, bloody mess. So do you have a picture of a dead animal as your backdrop on your phone?

I mean, yeah. I've been hunting since I was a kid, so I still enjoy going hunting every once in a while. Okay. It was an eating habit as well. I mean, I'm not the only person that orders their steak blue. A lot of people order their steak this way. It's a common option on the menu. But you were dipping your bread in the blood.

It was just too much. It's extra flavor. I don't understand what's so weird about that. It's pretty weird. Kendall, would you like to go on a second date with Mike? We'll pay for it. I mean,
