Yeah. Super duper hot. Invisalign. Invisalign. Well, Beck is on the phone for a first date follow up today and he thinks he's not getting a call back from a girl named Angela because adult braces. Oh. Isn't that right, Beck? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm hoping it doesn't screw up my chances here. At least you're getting them fixed. Oh. Isn't that right, Beck? Yeah, yeah, yeah.

We'll get to that in just a second. Before we talk about the reason you think you're not getting a call back, tell us about

the girl you want to call today. Her name's Angela? Yeah, yeah. So her name's Angela. We've been out three times. Oh, yeah. So her name's Angela. We've been out three times. Oh, okay. Yeah. Fourth date follow-up. So this isn't a first date follow-up, it's a

fourth date follow-up, like Alex said. Yeah, no, we've been getting along really well and I was looking forward to seeing her again and she's kind of like, just ghosted me. Okay. So how long has it been then since your date uh two weeks oh wow okay yeah we've been um man we've been out for two awesome dates we got along

really well i thought things were going great we kissed the end of the night and was a peck you know it's a full-on makeout session wow so the first and second date obviously went well. You had a third date. So is there something that happened on the third date? Dude, I've been trying to rack my brain to, like, trying to figure it out. I picked up the first two checks. I didn't pay for the last one. I thought that was kind of, like, you know, fair.

I don't know. I think that's your answer. There you go. You think that's it? So on the first couple of days, because it is weird that all of a sudden she stopped talking to you after your third date. Something definitely happened on that third date. She don't want no broke ass man.

And is that the only thing that was different is the fact that, now did she pay for it all? Yeah, yeah, she paid for it. Okay, well that's fine though. Like I'm okay with like women paying sometimes. Like I don't think it's the man's deal like to every single time pay for your dinner date. Yeah.

And it's a third date. And if you've paid for the first two. It's appropriate. It is. Yeah. I mean, that's exactly what I thought. I thought it was fair. You know, I pick up the first two.

She picks up the third. And then she just kind of got cold after that. Like after she paid? Yeah. Okay. Maybe it was. Like after she paid? Yeah. Okay, maybe it was a test, you know? Yeah. If someone's going to pick up a check, and I know they're going to pick up a check, I'll always do the whole, oh, I'm reaching for my wallet.

So they can go, oh, you put that back. This is on me. And it's like, are you sure? You know, that little dance. Well, so Jubal and I are married. And when we first started dating, we would both go back and forth that's good that's what it should be it should it really should because I don't get why it's up to the man to pay every time I really don't get that theory people in the world want equality and you can't just have it in some things and not everything

I do agree I agree equality in both situations exactly so she got different to you after paying the bill yeah she just kind of uh like closed up and just didn't really seem distracted and just not really wanting to spend a lot of time. Okay. And the lack of making out was definitely... Yeah. After the last date then, how many times have you tried to hit her up? I sent three text messages and I called twice.

Okay. And how much had you talked before then? Every day. Yeah, that's weird. That is weird. Are you guys friends on social media? Yeah, yeah. I mean, we're friends on social media.

I even left a comment the other day on something, but she didn't acknowledge it. Oh, yeah. If she's not commenting back on social media and not getting back to you on the phone, she's definitely not trying to talk. Yeah, she is done with you. I mentioned I'm going to be getting Invisalign, but that's the only thing I can think about because everything else is going great. Huh. Okay. I mean, that's weird, though, because I can't see braces turning someone off. You're trying to make your teeth better. Yeah, I mean, my teeth aren't all jacked up right now.

I just want to get them a little straighter. And it's just Invisalign. It's not a huge headgear piece. I was just going to say it's Invisalign, not braces. Yeah. You know. All right, we'll play a song, come back, and then call her and figure out

blows you off after you guys have been out on a couple dates yeah when you're dating someone and after I say two dates

you're dating at that point right maybe three dates four dates no okay maybe that's why I've been blown off

a lot after two dates for me that's marriage already I guess I don't know but I feel like you've gone out on two or three dates and then all of a sudden they stopped talking to you. That's always like a weird, confusing situation because you have no idea. You're like, why did you spend so much time with me? Right. Because they don't like you? Yeah. I mean, I guess they spent enough time to know they didn't like you. And Beck, who's on the phone right now, might've had that happen to him. Beck, are you about ready to call Angela?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm ready. All right, and just to refresh everybody's memory, if you missed the first part of today's first date follow-up, Beck and Angela have actually gone out on three dates. The first two, he said, were great. And then on the third one, something happened, and for some reason, he's not getting a call back now. They actually kissed after their first two dates.

He didn't even get a kiss after the third date. And it's been two weeks weeks and he's heard nothing. He thinks that maybe it's the fact that he had her, well, she offered, he said, but she paid the bill. I thought you were going to say herpes. I know, me too. Yeah, that's a bad place to stop. Or the fact that he's going to be getting braces coming up. Maybe that turned her off.

So we'll find out. Well, they're not even braces. It's Invisalign. It's not the same. All right. Well, I'm going to dial her phone number right now and see if we can get her on the phone and figure it out for you. Okay? Great.

English Evan. Hello. And those are the three people on the phone with you right now. Oh, okay. Hi. Hi. And the reason that we're calling you today is that we got an email about you from somebody who listens to our show. About me?

What is it? Well, it was a really nice email. Said a lot of great things about you, about your personality. You were glowing. No. No, we got an email about you because we do a segment on our show where if you go out on a date with someone and then end up ghosting them, they can email us to get you on the phone and find out what happened.

And you've actually been on a few dates with this dude, and then you just stopped talking to him. Oh, okay. So Beck emailed you. Yes. Beck emailed us, told us how you guys have been out a few times, thought everything was going great. Also told us how you have just stopped talking to him for like two weeks and he's wondering if you could tell us what's going on. Sure. Do you want to or not?

I mean, not really, but... He just wants to know because he's super confused. You know, like you guys went out a few times. He said that you guys made out, had awesome two dates. The third date was going well. And then all of a sudden your mood changed and no kiss at the end of that date. And you haven't talked to him since he obviously knows that he's screwed up.

He just wants to know how. I mean, yeah, we did have a really nice couple of dates. Um, that, that is true. Um,

the third date though, just ended on a bit of a weird note and just kind of told me something about him that I didn't want to know. Okay, what was that? Well, I'm glad I know. It's the braces. Yeah, he's wearing braces.

He's wearing braces. He's getting a missile on him. No, it's not the braces. Oh, no. I had braces for, God, i had braces for god i had braces for four years and then i had them off and then i had them back on again so no it's not the braces and it's invisalign it's not even braces exactly that's what we said that's what we said to him too but he said he was racking his brain and couldn't think of any any reason you wouldn't

be calling him back and he thought maybe the that he was getting invisalign turned you off so it's not the braces no it's not the braces okay what, it's not the braces. Okay, what is it then? We're dying to know. Well, at the end of the day, I reached for my wallet and paid the check. That's fine. Yeah, no.

And he made this really weird comment. He said, oh, I guess I'm not your sugar daddy anymore. Oh. I was just like, that's not what this is, and I just really didn't like that comment, and it was just a little grossly insensitive, and I'm just, I'm not that. He said he paid for the first two dates and

you paid for this one. And he also said that he noticed your mood changed after the bill. So that's why then he didn't tell us he made that comment by the way, about being your sugar dad. Yeah, that definitely changed my mood. I mean, how could it not? Yeah, that would probably be a turnoff for me as well. Really? Yeah. I mean, I do think that the guy and the girl should split it, you know, going back and forth. But to say that, that's just weird. Like, is he older? I think he's like five years older than me. Yeah, it's not like you're a sugar baby or something.

It made like our kissing sound transactional and kind of gross. Is there no chance that he was being sarcastic or joking? I mean, it's a bad joke uh i know how we can figure that out though yeah okay how's that well he's actually on the other line listening and wants to talk to you we can just ask him wait he's he's on the phone he's's been listening? Yep. Should have told you that. Oh, yeah. I'm here. Don't tell me that. Hey.

It's your sugar daddy. What's up, Angela? She didn't like that. Yeah, she doesn't like that, Beck. No, no, I know. I was just saying it now. It was a joke. I wasn't being serious when I said it. I mean, something tells me that it wasn't a joke,

and you're just trying to do damage control now. So I just need a little clarification. It was really just a joke. Like, I don't make enough money to be anybody's sugar daddy. Right. But, hey, you could be my sugar mom if you want. I mean, you know, we could go that route. Okay.

I mean, fair enough. I just really want to make sure that, you know, I'm clear about things. If it really was just like a bad joke, I, you know, we can give this one more shot. Let me ask you then, Angela, would you like to go on another date with Beck? We will pay for it. We'll be both of your sugar daddies. Sure, sure.
