The Jubal Show on demand. First date follow-up. Diamond is on the phone today for a first date follow-up, and she's not getting a call back from a dude named Lenny. Where'd you guys meet? Well, pretty much like anyone else does these days, which was Tinder.

But it was really sweet because he used a super like on me. And you only get a few of those to use every so often. So it kind of made me feel special. How long has it been since you heard from Lenny after your date? Well, it's been almost a month. And yeah, I've tried not, I haven't been trying to like bug him,

you know, but I've tried texting a couple of times and I did try calling at least twice in the past month. And normally he's always good about texting. Like he doesn't answer my phone call. Okay, fine. But he's always been good about texting and there's And there's been nothing, like just complete silence,

ghosting me basically. All right, well, tell us a little bit about the date. What did you guys do once you actually went out? Oh, well, it was his idea to go to bowling. And it was actually, yeah, like super fun. Every time I think of bowling now, I just think of how dirty like the balls are. Oh, I never thought about that.

You haven't? Oh, no. I think about it every time. And I love bowling. Yeah. And COVID, I'm like, ah. Oh, yeah. I never feel more filthy than after I've bowled.

Well, he actually brought his own ball. He did? And I didn't have anything. Yeah, he brought his own ball. He was like a professional like a pro the entire time and i was yeah i was kind of all over the place i didn't know what i was doing it is a lot harder than i ever imagined and i hadn't been in years. So why do you think that he's ghosting you? I honestly, I don't know.

Like the only, only thing that I could possibly think of, there was this girl that was really creeping up into our lane, like bumping into our station, bumping into him directly. And it happened at least two or three times. So I said, Hey, could you just back up a bit? Right. I mean, that's not out of line. I didn't think so.

You know, like I thought, you know, hey, she seemed like she was the one being rude. So I just felt like I had to call it out. Well, yeah, I mean, there's etiquette when it comes to bowling, too. You know? Yeah, there is. You can't be rubbing up on other bowlers on accident. There should be space in between. Yeah. And there was plenty of space in between each of the stations so it just didn't even make sense why it was happening so that's why i felt like i needed to call it out and i don't know i am kind of pretty forward and a little bit feisty when it comes to that kind of stuff so maybe it

just was too much for him um okay did he say anything about you talking to her did he seem like like he was put off by that like no no and it's it's interesting because he even thanked me like as soon as I said it I looked back at him like I was kind of a little worried and he was like oh yeah thank you for that you think maybe he's not calling you back because he thought that was rude or something of you that Yeah, that's the only thing that I can think of because nothing else that, like nothing else like wrong or negative happened in the date. The rest of the date was amazing. My tongue, I mean, I'm drinking a smoothie and my tongue is frozen.

Can you ask her the question? How did the date end? Yes. Well, we stayed until the place closed, and then we went back to his car, and yeah. Well, we basically hotboxed the whole thing. Oh, that's fun. Okay. Hotboxed it.

Did you guys hook up in his car? Yeah. Yeah. Get it, girl. Okay. That's in front of the bowling alley. That's amazing. What kind of guy winds and dines you like that takes you to a bowling alley

and then hooks up with you in his car outside and then doesn't call you back? Yeah, no, he sounds like the best guy. It doesn't sound as romantic as it was, but I promise like in the moment it was great and I promise, like, in the moment, it was great. And I had the best time, and I just don't understand what happened. All right.

Well, we'll figure it out. We'll play a song, come back, and then call him and find out why he's not calling you back with your first day of follow-up next, okay? Okay. In the middle of your first date follow-up, if you're just joining us, Diamond is on the phone and things got real dirty on her first date with a dude named Lenny. Why? Because they went to a bowling alley and there's not many more places that are more filthy

than a bowling alley. They bowled for a little while. She said they had a great time. And then after the date, it got even more dirty because they did dirty things in his car outside of the dirty bowling alley so just dirty all around sounds fun but she's not going to call back she doesn't know why the only thing that's the only reason she can think of that lenny isn't calling her back is that maybe because of a situation that happened when they were bowling someone on the lane next to him kept getting in the way and like getting over in their spot and like rubbing up against him. And, and, uh, Diamond called her out and said, Hey, stay over there. But probably in worse words than

that, but Diamond called her out for it. And she thinks that maybe it was awkward for Lenny that she did that. And maybe he thinks that she's rude. We're about to get him on the phone though and see if we can figure it out. All right, Diamond, are you ready? Um, yeah, yeah, I'm pretty ready because I would really like to get to the bottom of this and try and go out on a second date. All right, well, let's see if we can figure it out. Here we go. I may speak to Lenny, please. This is Lenny. Lenny, my name is Jubal from a radio show called The Jubal Show. And my name is Alex Freish. My name is Bennett. And I'm Christian Gray-Snow from a radio show, Guess It. We're calling you today because we do a segment on the show called The First Date Follow-Up. It's where if you've been on a date with someone and then you don't call them back,

they can email us to get you on the phone and find out what happened. And we got an email about you from somebody who listens to the show. You been on any dates recently, Lindog? Yeah. Yeah, I've been on a few. A few that you've ghosted? Yeah, well...

Let me ask you this, Lenny. Do you take every girl to the bowling alley? Yeah. So it's probably about Diamond, huh? Or one date outside of a bowling alley Because you haven't called Diamond back And that's why we're on the phone Yeah

I don't know What about it? Well, can you tell us a little bit about your date with Diamond? She's really confused She said that you guys had a She thought you guys had a great time And now you're not calling her back She told us about your date

She said you took her to the bowling alley. You even have your own bowling ball, which is pretty sweet. She complimented your bowling skills, said you're like a professional bowler. And then she said after you guys shut the bowling alley down, you went out to your car and had a little bit of fun in there. Was that why you're not calling her back? Was it not good enough? I know what you're talking about.

No, that was all cool. I thought so. Okay. She also said she thinks you might not be calling her back because while you guys were bowling, there was an incident where she had to tell somebody to back off because they were getting in your lane and stuff. Yeah, I don't even remember that.

No, I don't think that's, yeah, that's not, that's not, that's not like why. She talked about it like it was like a big event that happened. Like she had to tell this girl off and then you thanked her for it. You don't remember? Yeah. So yeah, that wasn't like, like that's not, I didn't really see that as like an issue or anything. I know, I know what you're talking about, but it wasn't, I didn't give it a second thought.

Okay. You know, it just kind of happens, bump into somebody or something. All right. Well then can you tell us why you're not calling her back? I just, I can't date another Scorpio again. Are you serious? So Scorpios are like my weakness, right? But then also my last three major relationships were with Scorpios and they all just ended terribly. Like it.

Yeah. I just, I just made a promise. Like, seriously. Like, heartbreak and just back to back. And I just need to break the pattern. I made myself a promise. It was like, just no more Scorpios. And then somehow I ended on a date with Diamond,

who was one. And I was like, dude, come on. Wouldn't you have known that before you went on the date? Well, not necessarily. How would he know? I would ask. If it's't, did you, wouldn't you have known that before you went on the date? Well, not necessarily. How would he know? I would ask. If it's that important to you, I would ask.

I mean, I guess. Maybe he didn't think about it. Did you think about it? Well, no, she told me she was a Libra. What? Which would have been great. Wait, so she lied to you?

Yeah. Yeah. Oh, why? Yeah, she said she was a Libra. I'm Gemini. And that, like, that means that we'd be very compatible.

But at dinner, dinner like I could tell something was you know different or whatever and I asked her what her birthday was and to like both of our surprises she was a Scorpio both of your surprises she didn't know what her sign was no what you you found out that she was a Scorpio at dinner, so you can't hit her back, but you could bring her outside after dinner and hook up with her. What's up with that? Yeah, well, yeah, because, I mean, we're out and we're having fun and stuff. To me, it was just like a mental note. It was just like, okay, like, you know, if you make a promise to yourself, you got to stick with it.

But I'm not just going to, you know. You don't want to be handcuffed to a Scorpio again. Like, you'll hook up with her, but you don't want to be handcuffed. I've done the Scorpio thing. I'm not trying to do the Scorpio thing anymore. Alright. You're going to have to not avoid them one more time because she is actually on the phone

listening and wants to talk to you. Surprise! Yeah, sorry about that. Are you serious? Man, I was worried it was going to be like an ambush type thing. Well, you were right congratulations diamond diamond's on the phone yeah hi i love hearing every second of this i mean wow really lenny but all of that stuff all of that stuff is just like it's fake it's bullshit like it's not there's nothing did you really not know what sign you were no i i don't follow any of that stuff so i thought i was a libra and

like if i my whatever star moon of is is that like i just thought that's what my my sign was too i didn't really think of it because i don't care okay so he asked and i was like oh i think i'm a libra so i'm a lira. So I'm a Libra. Okay. It's not something that dictates or guides my whole life. Unlike apparently you, where you have to follow it to a T, but apparently you didn't mind screaming in the back of your car before figuring that out. So I guess it doesn't really. I don't know.

I'm pretty sure you look like you were enjoying yourself too. So it's not like a one party thing. Uh, look, yeah, whatever happened happened. It was in the moment, but you know, I was cool with all that. I'm just not trying to date somebody like that. Well, if it seems like I was enjoying it that much, uh, I appreciate that. That's actually a compliment because it means I'm a good actor and I did my job right. Okay. Ooh, that's harsh. All right. Well, at this point, I'd like to ask Lenny, would you like to go on another date with Diamond? We'll pay for it.
