The Jubal Show on demand.
It's time. War of the Roses, only on The Jubal Show on demand. It's time.
War of the Roses, only on The Jubal Show.
Louisa is on the phone today for War of the Roses to catch a cheater,
and she thinks that her boyfriend of about two years named Mickey might be cheating on her.
Bummer.
Louisa, before we get into everything, thank you very much for your email.
Always terrible to come on the show this way.
Hopefully we find out that he's not cheating, but tell us a little bit about your situation. Why do you think Mickey's cheating?
We've been together for two years and the past couple of months, we've just like felt like it's
been kind of like we've been in a weird space, you know, and like, I guess I haven't thought
too much about it because relationships can kind of have, you know, they're up and downs and we've
been together for a while. And I guess, you know, sometimes people just need space to be compressed.
But I found something recently that made me start to feel really suspicious.
Oh, okay.
He goes on a lot of business trips for work.
And recently I was like, he came back and I was like washing his clothes and I discovered in his bag that there was his ticket and then also
a ticket with a woman's name.
Oh, so I asked him about it because I'm just like, you know, what the hell is this?
And he said that the ticket belonged to one of his co-workers that he had.
They'd travel together and then like just like stuffed it in the pocket or whatever
when they got on the plane and I don't know I mean like I was like okay I accepted his answer
but um I still feel really weird because he's still kind of like a little distant and I I don't
know it's just I have this feeling that maybe he isn't being honest so i want to know is this the first time that you thought
that maybe he was being you know unfaithful uh yeah this is the first time where i've like found
something where it like could explain it like i just you know i just thought it was like oh maybe
it's just like we need space if he does travel a lot um well shouldn't that but that's the space
you need if he's traveling all the time, you guys should be.
You would think that maybe the time you have together would be, you know, at least enjoyable.
Yeah, that's.
Yeah.
But like, again, until I found the ticket, I didn't really think much of it.
And then I was like, what is this?
And now I'm like putting it together that maybe maybe there's been something going on
if you're saying that he's going on like business trips could the other ticket be
one of his co-workers I mean I don't know I still don't know why it would be in his bag but
that's what he said and he said yeah they got on the like it was like they're all they like
travel together and like I've known this I know that there's like men and women in his because
he works in sales so like it's I it's like people, they travel together.
And so there are women.
But it was just weird.
It was in the pocket of his bag.
And he said that like when they got on the plane, like it was like the thing was just there and it got stuffed in.
And it wasn't anything to worry about.
Have you met any of his co-workers, male or female?
Yeah. about have you met any of his co-workers male or female uh yeah i mean there was like a company
party and um nothing felt like untoward it wasn't like there was i was getting bad vibes from
everybody everybody just seemed like really friendly and normal and um yeah i mean there
was like a couple of attractive people yeah um but one like the girl who i the girl who I thought was the most attractive
was there with her husband.
But I don't
know. I don't know. I just
feel so nervous. Why would
someone else's be in his things? But within the
pocket of it, like in my
head, it's the front of the bag. Yeah, it was in the
front pocket, which
is also where he puts his dirty socks,
which is why I was in there.
I'm torn. I see there are possibilities, it's just
not likely, I guess is what we're saying.
He had one in there
too. So I think the company
distributes them or something. So his was in there too.
So they were both in the pocket
in the front with his dirty socks.
And he's like, oh, it's just like, when we
just got in, it was just like,
he said that they boarded kind of late and it was like a frenzy.
And so just like must have gotten stuck when they were getting everything situated.
All right. Well, we'll see if we can figure it out then. You already told us the grocery store that he shops at.
I mean, it definitely sounds shady. Yeah. So we'll call from there and say that every single month we choose one rewards,
one rewards card member at random who gets free flowers delivered from our floral
department and we'll see if he buys
that pant load.
And if he does, then we'll see if he
sends the flowers to you or to someone else, okay?
Okay. Alright.
We're doing this. Okay, we'll play a song, come back
and get your War of the Roses to Catch a Cheater next.
Right in the middle of War of the Roses to Catch a Cheater
if you're just joining us, Louisa is on the phone.
She thinks that her boyfriend of two years, Mickey, might be cheating or might have cheated on her.
Messy Mickey.
Yeah, we're about to call him to see if we can catch him.
Before we do though, Louisa, why don't you just recap real quick what's going on?
We have been kind of in a weird space for a minute and recently he came back from a business trip
and next to his ticket in the pocket of his luggage was also a ticket with a woman's name.
You know, during the break, I actually thought about something and it's a little personal.
So if you don't want to answer it, you don't have to.
But has the intimacy in your relationship taken a hit?
Because I know you said things have been like off.
And usually if the intimacy department takes a hit at the same time,
you're feeling some awkward vibes that could be a sign.
And I don't know.
I just wanted to see what you're feeling there.
I mean,
yeah,
it's like,
it's been less just,
you know,
yeah,
I don't like we're doing this on the radio,
so I don't want to be too personal,
but yeah.
Okay.
All right.
So we're about to call him from the grocery store that he shops at
and say that every single month
we choose one rewards card member
totally random
who gets free flowers delivered
from our brand new
and improved floral department.
We'll see if he sends those
to you, Louisa,
or to someone else.
Okay.
Are you ready?
Yes, I'm ready.
All right.
Here we go.
Good luck. Hello?
Hey, this is Jorba calling from ******.
Is this our rewards card member, Mickey ******?
This is him.
Mickey, don't hang up.
This is not a marketing call.
I'm just calling to say congratulations.
You're this month's winner.
Cool, thank you.
What did I win?
The flowers.
Okay.
I didn't enter into anything.
As our way of saying thank you to some of our loyal customers like you,
every single month we choose one rewards card member at random
who gets free flower delivery from our beautiful new floral department.
It's totally free.
And it's 36 long stem red roses,
a card and a balloon.
So congratulations.
Okay, and I don't have to purchase anything or anything?
No purchase at all.
You just won.
Gotcha.
Thanks.
Sorry, I'm not used to winning stuff.
I was confused at first.
Completely understandable.
All we need to do is just a couple of things.
I can call you back.
I can set up a time to call you back
if you don't know who you want to send them to yet.
But if you do, I can get that all done on the phone right now
in just a couple of minutes
and then have you on your merry little way.
Yeah, that'd be great.
I appreciate it.
Great.
So you do know who you'd like to send them to now?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Are you ready?
I would just need first,
the first and last name of the person that you'd like to send them to.
Okay. It's
so the name is Louisa.
Get a card
with it. Do you want it to be a romantic
card or just a blank? Just print on
it or whatever. Just put on like
something nice. I love you
and I miss you, baby.
I love you and miss you, baby.
Well, then I guess I should just let you know that this is not the grocery store.
This is actually the Jubal Show.
It's a radio show.
My name is Jubal.
I'm Victoria.
And Christian Gray Snow here, too.
And we do a segment called War of the Roses to Catch a Cheater on our show.
And your girlfriend, Louisa, is actually on the other line.
She was listening to the whole thing, and she thought maybe you had messed around.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good to hear you're not, though.
Yeah.
Hey. This is really weird. Yeah. Yeah. Good to hear you're not, though. Yeah. I don't know.
This is really weird
because it's,
hey, okay,
because first thing,
because that isn't,
usually it's from
some, like,
random place,
so I didn't think
anything of it
when it was from
the grocery store.
And Lou,
do you think
I'm cheating on you?
Well, I mean,
I found the ticket
and,
you know, I, I don the ticket and you know
I don't know
we've been like
in a weird place lately
I know
I get that I'm sorry I don't mean to interrupt you
I'm just saying I thought that we had discussed
that that was from my co-worker
and I don't know how it ended up
in my pocket
I guess I just picked theirs up with mine.
And I'm just, I'm a little blindsided by all this.
I didn't know that you felt like this.
I guess it was just like in a weird place, you know, and you're gone.
And then you come back.
Oh, I get it.
And, you know, and when you come back, it's like, oh, okay.
But then you don't really seem um like you want to you know do
anything or go anywhere you're just like a little distant and and so like it's like all of this
together it you know it's it's just been stressful and I've just felt really confused I understand
and I'm sorry and I'm and first of all, I feel the same way.
I want to help you feel more secure in our relationship,
and I'm sorry that you had to go through all this.
And I know it's just, I mean, and we talk about it.
You know, when I go on the business trips and I'm there for like three days,
I'm not like actually partying or hanging out.
Like we're actually working, and we're actually, it's stressful. So when I when i get home i like i just like being at home where it's stress-free and and i just just being
around i know i don't communicate as much as i should but just i guess being around you is is
good for is it feels good for me so i don't think about needing more yeah i mean okay i get that
no yeah i'll tell you what i'll tell you what. I'll tell you what.
Why don't we go on a week when I get back next go round.
A couple of weeks, we'll go off for a weekend, just you and me.
I would really like that.
I'll leave my work phone and we'll hang out.
And I'm sorry that you're going through all this.
I hate that we're having to do this on here.
There is no one else in this world in my eyes except for you and in my mind and in my heart.
So I don't think of anybody else like that.
Hey, I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to embarrass you on the radio.
I'm sorry.
It's okay.
It's okay.
I'm stupid.
And don't be embarrassed.
Don't feel like you embarrassed me.
Don't feel stupid.
Any chance that I get to tell the world that I love you, I'll do it.
And I don't want you to feel embarrassed of having to ask those questions.
Anytime you're having any kind of feelings like that,
you can come to me.
I think I just feel embarrassed for myself
that I didn't trust you.
No, don't be embarrassed.
When something like that happens, it's perfectly natural to at least
have those ideas in your mind, but we can work them out.
That's what makes a relationship strong is working it out.
I agree.
So we're okay?
Yeah, we're okay.
Okay, all right.
And we'll go on a nice little weekend trip next week.
I would really like that.
Yeah, me too.
Congratulations, Louisa.
You know that Mickey's not cheating on you and sounds like a good dude, actually.
Yeah, he's. Congratulations, Louisa. You know that Mickey's not cheating on you and sounds like a good dude, actually. Yeah, he's a great dude.
It sounds like this little weekend y'all are going to have is going to be a nice one.
It's going to be much needed.
It's going to be well spent.
Well, thanks for your help, guys.
Yeah, no problem.
I'm glad you found out that he wasn't cheating.
Yeah.
That's awesome
yeah i really i really didn't uh i mean i don't know i i'm just really grateful for your help
oh and the uh the real quick the flowers thing was that was that still real like do i still get
to send her the flowers oh yeah no you gotta do that on your own sorry Sorry. Forgot to mention that part. The Jubal Show
on demand.
