...is on the phone today for a first date follow-up, and she's not getting a call back from a guy. Aw. And I forgot his name. That's why I said it like that. I was wondering why you posed. Hannah. Hannah, what's his name? Corey. Corey? Corey.

Corey? Corey? Corey? Yes. Corey with an H? No, with a C. Corey. So you went out with a guy named Corey.

Now he's not calling you back. And before we get into the date and everything, how long has it been since you went out with Corey? It's been two weeks. How many times have you tried to get a hold of him in that two weeks? Well, okay, we texted a little bit after the day, like for the next few days, but it really felt like I was forcing conversation, like I was forcing it to keep going. Oh, I don't like that.

When the other person isn't invested and you feel like you're asking every single question. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, that sucks. When you're trying to keep it going, you're like maybe if I could single question. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. That sucks when you could just like, you're trying to keep it going. Like maybe if I could just throw one line out there, I'll get them back. You know? Yeah.

Like you can tell them just stringing you along. We like, maybe I could just say like the funniest thing or something really cool. And then they're going to be like all of a sudden back on board. And obviously that didn't happen because he hasn't texted you because he stopped talking to you. Right. You've been, you've been ghosted. Yeah.

Okay. Well, Ied? Yeah. Okay. Well, I guess. Yeah, I guess. All right. Well, tell us a little bit about the date and what do you think went wrong? I mean, I think literally the only thing that I could think of that would have gone weird is, okay, so we went to this restaurant. It's like 50 diners themed.

Okay. So I got a burger and fries, kind of like fitting the vibe. And people really do say that I'm really weird for this, but I squirt my ketchup all over the fries instead of dipping them. Some people are very particular about how they do their ketchup. Well, I'm just still stuck on squirt. Yeah. Once you said that word, I think a lot of people kind of

were like, what? Yeah, why did you say that? Got them to tune in. Yeah. So there's many things that could have gone wrong there, but he didn't make a comment on it. He did make a comment on the way that you squirt your catch up. What was the comment? Well, he was saying it

like joking, but he was like, he said, I woke up and chose chaos today. Oh, okay. But I did have a friend who was like super, super upset for the way, because of the way I was eating fries. What does that mean? I didn't realize. I don't know. I didn't realize I had like a polarizing food opinion.

That's crazy. Yeah, that's mental. Was he just joking though? Or was he serious? I mean, he was joking, but, like, I don't know. I know that, like, some people are really weird about that stuff. Yeah, maybe he's super hardcore

about his condiments and how you put ketchup on french fries. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I don't know. I mean, I've thought of everything, but that's just what I'm thinking. That's a pretty shallow reason, if that's the reason. Well, boys can be shallow.

That is very true. How did everything end, though, after your date? I mean, it was fine. He walked into my car. We had a quick little kiss, but nothing crazy. That was it. We said goodnight. Was it the kiss on the lips or on the cheek?

It was a pop kiss. It was like, weird. Just a real quick little, just like a kiss, but not like, you know, so it was like that.

And not like, it wasn't that second one. No. Okay. Right. He initiated it. He did. He went in,

popped kiss. I was like, okay, bye. And I was like, bye and i was like hey bye yeah oh what you're leaving were you hoping for a little more i could gobble around so he hasn't uh so he texted you a little bit after and then he just stopped talking to you

and you think the only reason and the only reason you can think is maybe it was the way that you put ketchup on your fries. Yeah. Now I'm thinking there's so many more reasons, but I keep thinking about that comment. Okay. We'll try to figure it out for you. like a 50s themed type restaurant and she said everything seemed great. After the date he even walked her to her car and she got a real quick

kiss and not a big type kiss and then after the date he texted walked her to her car and she got a real quick kiss and not a big type kiss and then after the date he texted with her a little bit but she could tell that he wasn't really into her and then and then now she's been officially ghosted so we're gonna see if we can get a hold of cory to find out what happened and the only reason that hannah can think of as to why cory is not calling her back is the fact that she likes to squirt her ketchup all over her french fries instead of putting it on the side. Like a normal human being.

Or in a cup. Or even in a ramekin. Or with some ranch. What is a ramekin? It's those little side dishes. Those little white side dishes. No, you bougie. Oh, dude, I'm bougie as hell.

Whoa. What's going on? Why are you guys calling me? We're calling because we got an email about you from one of our listeners because they went on a date with you and now you've ghosted them. Oh, wait, this is about Hannah, right? Oh, okay. Yes, it is.

I was going to ask if you could guess, but you guessed right. Because when people like to guess, they always guess like the wrong. Yeah. Yeah, they guess the wrong name. People are you ghosting? I thought it sounded like players. You want to tell us a little bit about Hannah? I mean, she's a great girl.

You know, we had a nice date at a really fun little 50s kind of themed diner. Yeah, she told us where you guys went and everything. She thinks that you stopped talking to her because she squirted ketchup all over her fries instead of putting it on the side, and you made a comment about that like you thought it was crazy. Oh, no, I thought it was funny. I mean, I don't care about that. So it didn't make you angry? No, why would that make me angry?

I don't know, but she thought that was the reason you're not... She said you texted a little bit after your date and then stopped talking to her. So she thinks that might be the reason. Oh, yeah. No, that's not why. Okay, well, why? It sounds really bad. It does. The way you said, oh, yeah, was not good.

You know, listen, I'm not sure I really want to tell her stuff on air. I don't think that's cool. Well, she knows that that's a possibility, right? She didn't ask, and she does want to know. And everybody that we do this with, we always tell them beforehand, like, hey, you might hear something you don't want to hear, but if you're going to do the first day follow-up,

you've got to be prepared. Exactly. And she is. Right, right. It's a go-for. You might have a dish full of embarrassment served up in a ramekin for you, but you've got to be ready for it.

Okay, well, honestly, she said something that kind of freaked me out. What'd she say? She said she dates to marry. Well, don't we all? She dates to marry. No, normally. Is it the fact that she said it on her first date that freaked you out?

Yeah. Yeah, I mean, like, you know, it was just like a get to know you were sitting down and this and she kind of lays it on me. And I was like, oh, so are you not looking to marry anybody ever? Sure, maybe. I mean, when I find the right girl. Yeah. But like, what if she's like amazing, amazing. Right. And you met her on the first date and then she was so amazing. And then she said that. But like, you couldn't stop thinking about her. It's like because that one comment, like like what if she's not crazy at all? She's just looking into like,

she's dating because she wants to get married. I don't move that fast. I feel like, I feel like, you know, even if she's amazing, you still gotta get to know the person, you know? But that's just like a comment though. How was it said though? That's what I was trying to figure out.

She kind of laid it out real heavy and it freaked me out. I mean, to be honest with you, like, you know, I don't know her that well. I'd like to get to know her still, but it's just that kind of was hanging in front of me. And I thought, yeah, I, I think her expectations are a little, a little fast. And she didn't say she was trying to get married now though. I mean, I think most people date in hopes of something, you know, Finding someone that they want to eventually marry or be with forever. A lot of people want to get married, you know. Yeah, I get that. I mean, you're right.

But, you know, in the moment, it just felt real heavy. And then afterward, the next couple of days, it just, that's all I could think about was like, she's like staring at me like, you're the one. Coming for you. Why not tell her though? Instead of ghosting her. I don't know. Fair enough. I don't know.

Yeah, that's a good question. Were you thinking she might be like a stage five clinger or something? Yeah, it's hard to know. I mean, that's the problem. It's really hard to know. Well, I know the way we can tell. She's actually on the phone listening and wants to talk to you. So I think now's a great time to find out.

Well, I mean, I wasn't trying to freak you out. I was literally just saying that if I'm not seeing a bunch of random guys, then I'm loyal and committed, you know? Yeah. Yeah. No. Okay. I mean, it was just like isn't that wouldn't that be something that you wanted like or do you want somebody that's like no I'm dating everybody yeah I mean no I do I do I do want someone like that look I'm not opposed to you know like marrying someone I do want to get married.

It's just, you just got to understand it was a lot on a first date. It's a lot. I mean, I'm not trying to marry on the first week. I'm just trying to be clear with my intentions. You know, I'm saying once I find somebody that I'm dating, I'm only going to date that person. I'm going to be committed. That's the point of dating.

I mean, I think. Yeah, no, i get it but listen it it just could have waited until like date three date four man you took that real serious huh yeah yeah yeah i did yeah but you know what i gotta be honest with you hannah look you're a great girl like you're beautiful. I had a good time with you. But I guess I just, you know, I got I got in my head a little bit after the fact. And that and that statement just kind of kept rattling around. And then, you know, we were texting and everything was kind of OK. And it just came up again and again in my head. Maybe I just kind of made more of it than I meant to. Yeah, I mean, I'm not a weirdo. I'm fine for dating for years, you know. I mean, one more date. I mean, if you want, no pressure. It's not like I'm not asking for marriage.

All right, well, let me ask you the question there. Would you like to go on another date with Hannah? We'll pay for it. Yeah. Really? Yeah. Okay. Yay.
