Check out Crimless, Hillbilly Heist, my new true crime podcast from Smartless Media, Campside Media, and Big Money Players. Listen to Crimeless, Hillbilly Heist, on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Two rich young Americans move to the Costa Rican jungle to start over, but one of them will end up dead and the other tried for murder three times. It starts with a dream, a nature reserve, and a spectacular new home. But little by little, they lose it. They actually lose it. They sort of went nuts. Until one night, everything spins out of control. Listen to Hell in Heaven on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. It's time to catch a cheater.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Only on the Jubal Show. It's time for to catch a cheater, and Anne is on the phone today. She's been with her husband, Vince, for two years. but now she thinks something might be going on, so we'll see if we can help her out. Anne, sorry you have to come on the show this way, but what's up? Why do you think Vince might be messing around?
Starting point is 00:02:38 Well, I don't know. Mostly in our marriage, things have been great, but, like, things have been really different. I don't even know where to start. Like, I don't know, for almost two years, it was like we were in our honeymoon period. We had great intimacy, great physical connection, and then it just kind of dropped off just the best way I can say.
Starting point is 00:02:59 okay but isn't that kind of normal though like you know once a relationship starts to progress you're not going to stay as active as you were in the beginning is it like there's something else that he's doing or yeah i yes i know what you mean but this was very very sudden um and yeah there's been a few things like um just all of a sudden he wasn't interested and he was I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I really believe he's avoiding me because he's been with other women. Oh, really? So, you really feel that way.
Starting point is 00:03:39 How long ago did the intimacy stop? A couple months, I guess. I, I'm not, I, I, my brain is so long as right now. I'm not really sure, but, um, I got really sure because I, I went to the doctor because I thought I had a UTI, but it turned out to be Columbia, which was something for me. Oh, no. Oh, you should have just led with that.
Starting point is 00:04:06 No, how do you need or something like that? It's like, it's a very abrupt way to start, you know? Yeah. He's been staying late at work every night, and he's not coming home, like, tired from an 11-hour day. I'll tell you that. He's coming on a little bit too cheery for someone who I just did later work, Dominating and then on top of it, you know.
Starting point is 00:04:29 I mean, did you ask him about the STD? No, I haven't told him. I really wish that he, I've been sort of like hoping he would come out and tell me himself, but if I did, I feel like he just gaslighted me and tell me that I was imagining things or the, you know, the doctor was wrong and it was facing. Right. I mean, that's the kind of thing that you really can only get. from doing that with somebody. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:54 Exactly. I can tell you I did not get this from someone else. Like, it's not like, oh, oops, it's not a UTI. It's comedia. Oops, I was wrong. Like, I've never had that happen. I just don't want to see him put that on you if for any reason, like, thinking that you were the one that contracted it from somebody else.
Starting point is 00:05:12 Because I feel like, isn't it possible, Jubil, correct me if I'm wrong. Like, if one person has that, it may not present. I don't know if it works that way with that particular one, but it can be like that with certain things. Okay. People can not have symptoms, especially men because of the way our bodies are.
Starting point is 00:05:27 You should not have like symptoms of certain things, and then you can pass it along. Right. And not know that you had it. But you guys have been together for a long time, right? I mean, we've been married two years when we were together before that. So, yeah, none of us has ever gotten chlamydia before.
Starting point is 00:05:44 I think when it comes to HPV, for example, that's something that men can have and not know. Yeah. And it doesn't affect men the same way it does women. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, women, I mean, women can not show symptoms of either as well, but it just kind of depends. But after a while, like after years, you're going to get sick eventually. Well, this is a problem, though, because now he not only cheated on you, he's putting your health at risk and he's not communicating and he's staying late.
Starting point is 00:06:09 Now I'm starting to get upset for you and I'm really sorry. Thank you. I need as many people to be upset in my honor as possible. Yeah, that sucks, man. All right. Well, we'll play a song, come back and you already told us what grocery. store he's a rewards card member at so we'll tell him we're from the grocery store and say that just for being a rewards member he's won free flowers delivered from our floral department and we'll
Starting point is 00:06:31 see if he sends those to you or to somebody else okay thank you okay we'll get you to catch a cheater right after this hey there i'm kyle mclaughlin you might know me as that guy from twin peaks sex in the city or just the internet's dad i have a new podcast called what are we even doing where I embark on a noble quest to understand the brilliant chaos of youth culture. Daddy's looking good. Each week I invite someone fascinating to join me, actors, musicians, creatives, highly evolved digital life forms, and we talk about what they love. Sometimes I'll drizzle a little honey in there too from feeling sexy in the morning.
Starting point is 00:07:11 What keeps them going? And you're maybe my biggest competition on social media. Like when a kid says bra to me. And how they're navigating this high-speed roller coaster we call, reality. In Australia, you're looking out for snakes, spiders, and f***. Right. Hey, he's no train McDougall. This is like the common section of my Instagram. Join me and my delightful guests every Thursday, and let's get weird together in a good way. Listen
Starting point is 00:07:36 to what are we even doing on the IHeart Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In the new podcast, Hell in Heaven, two young Americans moved to the Costa Rican jungle to start over, but one will end up dead. The other tried for murder. Not once. People went wild. Not twice. Stunned. But three times. John and Anne Bender are rich and attractive, and they're devoted to each other. They create a nature reserve and build a spectacular circular home high on the top of a hill. But Little by little, their dream starts to crumble.
Starting point is 00:08:21 And our couple retreat from reality. They lose it. They actually lose it. They sort of went nuts. Until one night, everything spins out of control. Listen to Hell in Heaven on the I-Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. The forces shaping the world's economies and financial markets can be hard to spot. Even though they are such a powerful player in finance, you wouldn't really know that you are interacting with them. And even harder to understand.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Donald Trump's trade war, 2.0, is only accelerating the process of de-dollarization, which in a way is jargon for people turning away from the dollar. That is where the big take from Bloomberg podcast comes in to connect the dots. How unusual is a deal like this? Unprecedented. Every weekday afternoon, we dive deep into one big, big, big. global business story. The biggest story of the reaction of the oil market to the conflict in the Middle East is one of what has not happened.
Starting point is 00:09:26 Katie, you told me that ETFs are your favorite thing. They are. Explain that. Why is that the case? And unpack what it means for you. Our breakfast foods are consistent consumer staples, and so they sort of become outsized indicators of inflation. Listen to the big take from Bloomberg News every weekday afternoon on the IHeart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
Starting point is 00:09:51 If you're just joining us for To Catch a Cheater, Anne is on the phone, and she thinks that her husband of two years named Vince might be messing around, so we're about to call him and pretend to be from the grocery store that he's a rewards member at and say that he's this month's lucky winner of free flowers delivered from our Florida department, and we'll see if he sends those to his wife, Anne, or to somebody else. But before we do that, Anne, why don't you break down your situation for us again, real quick?
Starting point is 00:10:17 Basically, my husband of two years has been coming home from late from work every night. I thought I had a UTI, but it turns out he gave me clemenida. I'm sorry, that's so upsetting. I mean, that's all you need to know. I'm sorry, Ann, you know, but I mean, it certainly seems like something's going on. I mean, but we'll see. We'll give them a call and hopefully we can get it all figured out for you. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:10:42 Really appreciate it. Okay, here we go. Hello. Hey, this is Corbel calling from I was looking for our rewards card member named Vince. Uh, yeah, yeah, didn't see. Hey, Vince, please don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I'm actually calling with a big congratulations. You're this month's winner. Uh-huh. Uh, what was, uh, what is this call regarding? regarding? Well, maybe you don't know. Every single month, we choose one lucky rewards card member who gets free flowers delivered from our floral department. You've just won 36 long stem red roses, a box of candy or chocolate, and a card to be delivered to anybody that you want absolutely free. It's a $316 value. Really? Yes, congratulations. The first thing that I would
Starting point is 00:11:36 need from you would be the first and last name of the person that you want to send the flowers to. And then if you want to put anything on the card and then we'll get the address and that's it. Okay. You can make it out to Maya. Maya, gotcha. Great. And then do you want to add a card along with it? Can you write, you may have burned me, but damn, it was fire. Sure. I'm not going to ask any questions. But yes, I can put that on there. Also, I'll let you know that this is the Jubal show. It's actually a radio show. Oh, my God. This is Nina. Hi. Hi, I'm Victoria. And my name is Jubal. And we do a segment on the show called to catch a cheater
Starting point is 00:12:17 where if you think your significant other might be messing around, you see who they send flowers too. And your wife, Anne, is on the phone listening and probably wants to know who my is. What? Excuse me? Oh my God, I can't believe this is real. I kind of thought that maybe it was a fake
Starting point is 00:12:32 and it was like nothing. Like, oh my God, oh my God. I can't, what the fuck, Vince? Seriously? I know that you were cheating on me with some of the disease. I can't believe this. Anna, what are you doing?
Starting point is 00:12:49 What am I, what am, what are you doing? Oh my God, what are you doing? You're such a liar. I can't believe that you would let me get. Oh, my God, you put my health in danger. You put everything in danger. Honey, honey, honey, honey, look, Maya is a coworker and she's helping me at work. That's it.
Starting point is 00:13:09 That's why I did care. What, no, uh-uh, uh-uh, uh-uh, no, I don't buy that. I went to the doctor. I can't even speak right now. You're not sending flowers to someone who's helping me with work. You're such a liar. I look. I, uh,
Starting point is 00:13:29 explain it. Explain it. I try to lie. Say the doctor was wrong. Say the doctor was wrong. I don't know what you're talking about. Okay, this is, you're being crazy. I can't believe you're talking about on radio.
Starting point is 00:13:41 I'm not crazy. Don't tell me I'm crazy. right now. I don't, do not tell me I'm crazy. Look, this is I, I I'm, I think that this is a big overreaction. I think anything to say
Starting point is 00:13:56 because you're such a big liar. Where do you know I'm a comedian? Where do you get some idiot from? Your co-worker? You're not getting it from just walking around. How do you come back from that? I mean, seriously, bro. You might as well just admit it, Vince. I mean, even with your card.
Starting point is 00:14:14 Sounds like you don't mind that you got it, which is. Yeah. I look, it was... I mean, that joke was so tacky. I can't believe that you can joke about that. Honey. I know they're laughing because that's so embarrassing. The way that you just like laughed it off.
Starting point is 00:14:32 How dare you? It's just physical. It's not... No. What does that even mean? That doesn't mean anything. Oh, man. That doesn't mean anything.
Starting point is 00:14:47 That doesn't mean anything. I mean, it's like, it's got emotional. I mean, you have. We have such a good thing going. I don't get in. But I haven't, it hasn't been right at home for a minute. You know it hasn't been right. Isn't it right?
Starting point is 00:15:01 You gave your wife chlamydia, bro. Nothing happened. I didn't do anything to you. Baby, look, it's just, it's chlamia, okay? If you get rid of it, it's curable, you know? Oh, my God. No, it's just our marriage, you f***, out. I can't believe this.
Starting point is 00:15:24 I don't see your f*** balls off. I hate you. You know, I hate Maya. Can you just hang up on him? I don't even know what to say anything. Yeah. Hang up on him. Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:37 I'm very sorry. I'm so sorry. I guess I don't know why I'm surprised. I don't know that I thought it was going to. go that way. I'm sorry. No, don't apologize. I think at the very least, you would have hoped that he would have shown some type of remorse at the very least.
Starting point is 00:15:52 Yes, yeah, I can't believe you just laughed that often. Oh my God, I'm in shock. I really part of me just thought that it was all going to be a misunderstanding. I can't believe that I'll just happen. Thank you for helping me get to the bottom of that. I really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:16:07 Yeah, and let us know if you need anything, okay? Okay, thank you. The Jubble shows To Catch a Cheater Hey, I'm Kyle McLaughlin You might know me as that guy from Twin Peaks Sex in the City or Just the Internet Stand I have a new podcast called
