Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable,
abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced.

Hey, this is Hayes Davenport.
And Sean Clements.
We host the podcast, Hollywood Handbook.
Each week, we talk to someone in show business and try to help them
with their careers and see what they have to offer us.
Everyone has a good time and no one gets mad at their publicists for letting them do our show.
We've had a lot of great guests like Sarah Sherman, Adam Scott, Danny McBride, Ben Stillard,
and a lot of other big shots that wouldn't be where they are without us.

Patrick is on the phone today for it to catch a cheater and he thinks that his girlfriend of three years
named Ria might be cheating.
So in a second we'll call her and see if she is when we try to catch her.
But first, Patrick, what's going on, man?
Why do you think she's cheating?
I just think she might be cheating on me with someone, but I'm just not sure.
What makes you think so?
She's kind of always done her own thing, you know, and, you know, and I've accepted that,
but she'll, like, saunter in late at night, you know, no explanation, you know, no reason.
You know, I was asked, but she was like, oh, I was just out with friends or I went for a walk or, you know, that type of you.
and, you know, she does do that.
You know, she'll sit for hours just like staring at the sky or staring up in the space, you know.
But it's been like she's trying to hide something when she says it, you know, like a bad actor, you know.
So, you know, I admit, you know, I've snuck on her phone, you know, I've done all that.
I've looked through her phone.
I've looked through the contacts.
you know, look for random messages.
I just, I don't see it.
One of the only ones that she has saved is me and my sister.
Even then, they were few and far in between, you know, nothing crazy.
There were a couple of messages from some guys asking her if she wants to hang out,
but, you know, they were just left on red.
So, you know, I wasn't worried about that.
I can't ask her about it, you know, because obviously I did, you know,
sneak on her phone there. I don't know what else to do. She's a very sexual person, you know,
always has been. And I feel like, you know, maybe she's getting tired of me, you know, and,
you know, seeing opportunities elsewhere kind of deal. Is that part been happening while you've
been worried anyway, or is that kind of slowed down too? I mean, it's kind of like, you know,
three years and, you know, things, and flow kind of deal. But, yeah, we just,
I just feel disconnected.
We feel very disconnected.
Right in the middle of to catch a cheater.
And if you're just joining us, Patrick is on the phone
and he thinks that his girlfriend of three years named Ria might be cheating.
So in a minute,
we're going to call her and pretend to be from the grocery store that she's a rewards card member
and say that she's this month's lucky winner of free flowers delivered from our floral department.
And we'll see if she sends those to Patrick or to somebody else.
But first, Patrick, why don't you refresh everybody's memory on your situation?
Yeah, absolutely.
So Ray and I, we've been together about three years, and I'm just concerned right now because we're at a real bad disconnect.
And, you know, we're not, we're just not jiving.
And I feel like something's going on.
Something's wrong.
You know, she's a free spirit and she does her own thing.
And that's something that I've admired for her.
But now I kind of feel like, you know, that free spirit is doing other things.
And I just want to figure this out.
Okay, man, you ready for us to call her?
Yeah, absolutely.
All right, here we go.
Hello?
Hi, this is Corbyn calling from B.
I was looking for our rewards card member named Ria.
Oh, hi, yeah.
I'm Ria.
Hi, Ria, please don't hang up.
This is not a marketing phone call.
I'm actually calling to say, congratulations.
You're this month's big winner.
Of what?
Of what?
The flowers.
What?
What flowers?
Every single month we choose one rewards card member at random who gets free flowers delivered from our floral department.
You can send flowers to any way that you want within the 50 United States.
You've won 36 long stem red roses, a box of candy or chocolates and a card.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Wait, so you're saying I get to keep like two dozen roses.
Like, they're for me.
And I can.
You can send them wherever you want.
Yep.
Oh, I can send them.
Okay.
Yeah.
Wait, can I keep like 18?
and then send like maybe six somewhere
because I want some too.
Sure, I've never had anybody ask to split it up like that,
but I'm sure we could.
It's not changing the order at all.
Okay, okay, cool, awesome.
So the ones for you, I guess, just go to your ad.
We have all your information to send them to your address on file.
Sure.
Okay.
And first thing I would need would be the first and last name
of the person you'd like to send them to?
Yeah, it's page.
Okay.
Paige.
P-A-I-G-E, like a woman's name.
Gotcha.
Okay, Paige.
And then would you like to put anything on a card?
Yeah, how about I'm having a lot of fun with you and excited to see where this goes.
Having a lot of fun with you, excited to see where it goes.
Yep, I can do that.
And I will also let you know that this isn't the grocery store at all.
This is a radio show.
It's called The Jubal Show.
My name's Jubal.
I'm Nina.
Hi, and I'm Victoria.
And we do a segment called to catch a time.
cheater and your boyfriend Patrick is on the phone.
Are you kidding me?
Are you, Raya, are you kidding me?
Page? Page?
Paige.
Oh, my, my, my, my, my sister.
Oh, whoa.
Are you, you got to, no, no.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Look, it was just, I can't believe this.
Look, are you, are you?
I want to, oh, my God.
I want to say sorry, but it's just.
point like I just don't even know why you can't approach me face to face you have to take me on
the radio to like because you're just incapable of talking you're like you're so into your sister
you're so insurer and honest I don't care are you like kidding me and it was just going to be once
and we both fell bad and then it happened several times and now we're both trying to figure out a way to
tell you but you're so insecure you take me on the radio show you are there a reason though
you are the devil it's my sister you are
seeing my sister. What the hell did I ever do to you? I'm just happier with her. Not only,
I can't believe this. She's just, I can't be she's a cure as herself and I'm just, I don't know,
like I feel like her energy is so much better. I'm just so much happier with her and I,
I, listen to what you're, listen to what you're saying. I, this is so this is so
I can't even get it. I can't even get it.
And this is my, you know, oh my God, my sister.
You know, she's been, look, I've been one-up in me through my entire school, sports.
Look, like, whatever.
I'm not here.
I know what you feel bad.
I know that you've always been having contentious problems with her because, you know,
she has always written, like, you know, in an honor, you know, even through high school
and college.
I just, look, like, I, it just, it just happened.
And then, like, we both, like, wrung our hands about how to make it unhappened.
And you can't, I can't do this.
I'm done with this.
With somebody.
No.
Also, I want to know, do I, do I think to keep the roses?
What?
Ray, I, I'm done with you.
I'm, I'm sorry, guys.
This was way more than, than I was looking for.
I, sorry, I'm, I'm off the phone.
I'm done.
Wait, can I still keep the roses.
No, you can't.
Because I really think Cages would like them.
No.
Okay.
I hung up on her, Patrick.
I'm sorry, man.
I'm so sorry.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Guys, I'm so, this is not what I expected.
I'm so sorry.
I got to figure this out.
Yeah.
Handle your business, man.
Thank you for the hell.
I'm sorry.
Of course.
All right.

On the new podcast Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman.
I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle.
I chose option B.
I'm Julie Pinero and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first.
I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility.
