First date follow-up. Jack is on the phone today for a first date follow-up. He's not getting a call back from a date he went on with Vicky. Jack, what's up, man?

How are you? I'm doing good. How are you? Good. You're missing Vicky, aren't you? I am. Okay. Well, let's help you see if we can help you not miss Vicky anymore.

Before we get into the date and stuff and why you think you're not getting a call back, how long has it been since you went out with Vicky? It's been about a week. About a week. Okay. And how many times since you went out with Vicky? It's been about a week. About a week, okay. And how many times have you reached out to her in that week? A few times. A few times. You know, nothing overbearing, yeah.

All right, tell us a little bit about Vicky. How was the date? Had a great time with her. It was a great experience. We met at a Comic-Con. Well, you guys had a shared interest right away then. Exactly, exactly. She showed up as Catwoman.

Ooh. Love that. Yeah. But, you know, I liked her costume, and I, you know, went up to her, got a photo with her, and we started talking, and we made a date for, you know,

like an hour later at a nice restaurant across the street from the convention. So the same day. Same day, yeah. It started off great and, you know, it just kept getting better. She was staying at the hotel by the center and wanted to change before the date. So I stayed there and just, you know, waited for her to text me when she was going to the restaurant and met her there and had a great time. It was awesome.

You know, we were talking about, you know, her cosplay. And, you know, I happened to actually get a, like, a Catwoman statue. And it just actually arrived at my place. And, you know, I mentioned it to her, and she took the hint and asked to see it oh all right yeah so we we walked to my place because i don't live that far the kitty had claws that night oh oh okay so you guys actually hooked up uh yeah we had fun and she you know she left the next morning and i walked her back to the hotel just so that way she felt safe.

And, you know, like I said, that was about a week ago. And I don't know, I just I texted her a few times, like I said, and I don't know, I feel like maybe she just might have moved on or something. What was the last thing she said to you? Do you remember? She made it clear that she wanted to see me again. But exactly like how did she say it? I don't remember the exact words

but it was along the lines of like I can't wait to see you again, you know? But was she like smiling and happy? Was it more of a trying to get away type situation? It seemed as if she was really enjoying herself because i even joked during having sex that like you should bring your cat woman costume next time and she laughed and she would get that maybe you know like she laughed and said maybe

next time but you said that like during or like after uh actually it was during that I said next time bring it. That's kind of creepy. Maybe wait till after to say it, in my opinion. Yeah, she was probably laughing maybe at you and not with you with that one. You know, maybe. When you're in moments like that, sometimes you say things

and you're like, that was weird. That was a weird comment that I made. Hopefully they didn't notice or hopefully they liked it. I wasn't thinking and I just kind of came out but like she laughed and she said maybe next time.

If someone, like if that was brought up to me during, I don't know what I would do. I'd probably have to laugh also. If I'm being honest and I feel like the maybe next time

would be a little sarcastic. Yeah, sure. Maybe next time, Batman. Maybe. But, I mean, this is, you know, she's in the cosplay. But you could be right

because, again, I'm on the phone with you guys. As long as you did it in a Batman, like you did it in a Batman voice, I think it's fine. Absolutely.

No. That's actually really funny. I think it's fine. Absolutely. No. That's actually really funny. I should have did that. Yeah, you should have. Next time, bring the Batwoman costume. Oh, God! Alright, well, we'll see if we can figure it out. We'll play a song, come back, and then call her and see if we can find out why she's ghosting you

He's on the phone, and Jack likes Catwoman. He went on a date with a woman named Vicky. He met her at Comic-Con. She was dressed up as Catwoman. He took a picture with her and asked her on a date.

They went straight from the Comic-Con to their date, and then during their date, Jack said, I have a Catwoman statue back at my house. And she was like, let's go see it. And then it was on her. They ended up hooking up. But now she's not calling him back. It's been over a week and he has no idea why.

He thinks it might be because while they were being intimate, he suggested to her that next time she bring her Catwoman costume along. Her response was maybe next time. But it didn't seem bothered to him. Right, Jack? Yeah, I didn't think that was the deal breaker right there. But either way, you're not getting a call back. We're about to get her on the phone to find out why. Are you ready, Jack?

This is Bennett from The Jubal Show. And this is Christian Gray Snow from The Jubal Show. It's a radio show. What's this about? It's about the fact that we got an email about you from one of our listeners and we needed to call you. Who was it? That's a good question. Wouldn't you like to know?

Have you been in any situations or anything that somebody would email a radio show to give you a call about? I meet a lot of weirdos at Comic Con because I do cosplay. Oh, okay. So you're thinking maybe a Comic-Con weirdo emailed us about you. I mean, it could be.

I think you might be right. We do a segment on the show called First Date Follow-Up. That's where if you go out on a date with somebody and end up ghosting them, that person can email us to get you on the phone and ask why you're ghosting them. So are you ghosting anybody that you've been on a date with? Yeah, I am. His name's Jack. That's who emailed us.

Jack wants to know why you're not calling him back. I liked him. I had a good time. He's into nerdy stuff. When I got to his place, I kind of had this shocking experience. Shocking experience?

How? So, I met him at Comic-Con. He seemed really cool. I feel like, you know, the conversation was really flowing, and he was kind of cute. So, I figured I'd go back to his place. He mentioned he had a Catwoman statue.

So, I mean, the inner nerd in me kind of was into it. Yeah. He said you were dressed up as Catwoman at the Comic-Con, and that's how you guys started talking. Yeah, and I kind of took the hint that maybe he wanted to do something. Okay. He didn't give us any details. Don't worry about that.

But he said that you guys hooked up. He said that that's why he thought he would definitely see you again. Yeah, I mean, it was amazing. Don't get me wrong. guys hooked up he said that that's why he thought he would definitely see you again yeah i mean it was amazing not don't get me wrong he thinks you're not calling him back because he also told us that he thinks he might have been a little weird when he suggested that the next time you bring your cat woman costume to his house during the act yeah i mean some people have their kinks i mean i'm not opposed. Oh, okay. So that wasn't why you're not calling him back.

That's not the deal breaker. No. No. It was just his entire place in general. Was it messy? His apartment. There was just stuff everywhere. Like dirty or just like cluttered comics,

books, toys, like thousands and thousands of figurines. Like it almost looked like I was about to get with a giant man child who never grew up. Ooh. Okay. Well you met him at a comic con.

Yeah, but it just looked like he took it way too seriously. Okay. That's why you're not calling him back. So I work at Comic-Con a lot, and I like that stuff, but it was too much for me. So that's saying something. Okay. Gosh, okay.

It just felt like every figurine was looking at me while we were... Oh, okay. Oh, gosh. Also, I got a little paranoid. I was thinking that maybe he had, like, nanny cams in these things. Like, he was filming without me knowing. That'd be super creepy. Yeah.

Well, you know, we appreciate you telling us. I don't know if he does because he's actually on the line listening and heard this whole thing and wants to talk to you. So I don't know if he does. Mm-hmm. Oh. Didn't know you were going to be on here.

Hey. I mean, like, you met me. Like, do I look like the kind of guy that would have, like, secret cameras and stuff telling people? I don't know. People are weird these days, man. Yeah, I know, but, like, we hung out. We have, like, a lot in common. Like, we knew, like, you knew everything that I knew. Like, it was crazy, like, how, like, I don't want to say, like, how nerdy you are.

I had a good time. I just was a little creeped. Like, Vicki, you even, like, said, you know, like, that, you know, it was amazing. It was amazing. I just feel like you take man-child to the next level. Well, I mean, Vicki, like, we did meet at Comic-Con. You know, everybody there is a man-child. You were also dressed up in a costume.

So, I mean, like, I don't think anything was creepy or weird. I thought everything was great, you know? I get it. I'm moving. I don't really know how we would see each other again. Is that what the beeping is? Yeah, I'm moving out of don't really know how we would see each other again. Is that what the beeping is? Yeah, I'm moving out of state, you know, so I don't know how it would work. Wait, why didn't you tell him that?

I don't know. I just felt bad for like, I don't know. I didn't want to break his heart. Wouldn't it have been just like a lot easier just to say that you are actually moving soon instead of assuming that I'm like some creepy guy with cameras? You could have just told me. I don't know. I didn't really want to deal with it and I wasn't expecting anything out of Chicago. I really liked you. I mean, I'm not opposed to like a-distance relationship and coming to visit you. That kind of works out because I actually already have tickets to the Comic-Con that's in Chicago in a few months.

Oh, look at that. When Jack is there for the Comic-Con, you guys want to go out on another date, we'll pay for it. I mean, why not? I could do round number two. Oh, okay. There we two. Oh, okay. There we go. Congratulations, Jack. Yeah.

Look at that. It worked out. And I guess Catwoman costume or? Well, I got a lot of costumes. Oh. So it'll be a long weekend for us. Oh. All right.
