Starting point is 00:00:00 Dragon's Dogma 2, the highly anticipated successor to the cult classic Dragon's Dogma, is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and Steam. Dragon's Dogma 2 is a third-person action RPG boasting a richly detailed and deeply explorable fantasy world created using Capcom's RE Engine's immersive physics, groundbreaking character AI systems, and cutting-edge graphics. Dive into the vast and dynamic world where The Arisen is called upon to fulfill a forgotten destiny across the nations of Vermont, the Kingdom of Humanity, and Batal, the nation of Beastrin.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Dragon's Dogma 2 revolves entirely around choice. Your choice, that is. From the sword and shield-wielding fighter to fighter to the illusion conjuring trickster, there are over 10 unique vocations to choose from that all require experience to unlock new skills. And character customization is out of this world, literally. Oh, and did I mention the combat is really in-depth? It isn't just hacking at a giant's ankle for half an hour while your dodge roll attacks. You can engage enemies from a distance, climb up large foes, stab them in their weak points, use the terrain and trick, trip, or throw foes off high cliffs or raging waters.
Starting point is 00:01:10 Visit dragonsdogma.com to buy the game and start your epic quest today. That's D-R-A-G-O-N-S-D-O-G-M-A.com to learn more. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. That's not good. Not, nope. Hello? What? He fucking did it.
Starting point is 00:01:41 I thought he was in the countdown. He did the countdown. Hello and welcome to another episode of F*** Face. This is episode 173. Jeff Ramsey, Andrew Panton, Gavin Free, here to entertain you for the next 55 to 65 minutes or so. What the f***? Hello. Hey, we're here to, I don't know, you like this?
Starting point is 00:02:04 How do you like it so far how's everybody doing i'm doing good uh you told one joke you went to stand-up comedy mode immediately you're like a comic what do you mean very comic vibe like the club we're here to entertain you for the rest of the evening type thing it felt very stand-up to me hey uh i'll take that as a huge compliment i appreciate it thank you so much it's one of the kinder things you've ever said to me i don't know about that but but I appreciate that you do. I feel like every 10 or so episodes, I like to check in on long-running face bits. Andrew, how's the ankles?
Starting point is 00:02:34 Oh, great. No ankle problems at all. Much better. I'd say this has been a great year for ankles. Marathon coming up this year? No. I already said no to that. That's dead.
Starting point is 00:02:43 Oh, that's dead forever. That's super dead. Is it? I don't know. maybe i wasn't here for that one is it's dead no it's been dead for months when did you sneak that to the coffin i brought that up when we did our like beginning of the year end of year last year oh content it's in that supplemental where we like we went over old bits i covered that oh yeah i think i just didn't want to believe that to be true. So I erased it from my memory. Okay, that bit's done. Okay. Hey, let me ask you guys a question.
Starting point is 00:03:13 What do you... Oh, I'm sorry, Gavin, were there more bits you wanted to check in on? I feel like there must have been more to that. No, that was it. That was it? It was just checking on... Andrew, where are you at, man?
Starting point is 00:03:24 Just me. Okay. Start with a little Andrew check in at the top just put you on blast jeff go ahead i want to see uh see how my friends do it well could i okay well could i tell you a mistake i made recently yeah something a little little prank i so i i have two friends and they've been sending they send gag gifts to each other occasionally and this has been on pause for a little bit but they'd go back and forth and then recently we're playing the texas chainsaw masker game and there's a thing in that game where you have to open up a fuse box and you have to match the colors and solve a basic math problem of like what is seven plus three and it's very confusing if because there's
Starting point is 00:04:05 no explanation for it it's really simple once you know what to do but when you look at it for the first time it's a little bit overwhelming and so one of my friends they solved the first one which was seven plus three easily and they did it accidentally they didn't understand the color thing but because of that it looked like they could not figure out what four plus nine was and so it became they got roasted that they didn't know basic math and they took great offense to that so it became like a bit and the two people that sent gag gifts at each other were the main ones really going back and forth about it and as a third party i thought this is fantastic news for me i can reignite their war i will buy the guy
Starting point is 00:04:46 that's being made fun of for not knowing basic math a calculator under the billing name of the person who they're in the battle with and so i checked i i couldn't remember if i had ever mailed them anything but i looked at my amazon and their name was saved as like a joke name that's fucking brando calrissian is like their lame like joke nickname thing yeah so i had that and i was all excited about it i was like oh i have their address saved i definitely have the other person's information this is fantastic i re-signed up for amazon prime to get there immediately to them and so i order it and i'm just waiting and then the next day happens and the basic math thing comes up between the two of them
Starting point is 00:05:25 again. And I'm like, oh, this is they're not going to expect me at all. This is great. And I get tracking for it and it says it will be delivered by the end of the day. So I'm just sitting there waiting, all excited. I keep checking throughout the day. It still says like, hey, it's on route. It's looking to be delivered anytime now.
Starting point is 00:05:45 No update, no update. It gets to the evening and I finally think like, oh man, I should check on that. Was it delivered yet? Wasn't delivered still. I thought that's really weird. So then I double checked it. I have been anticipating this all day. I've been so excited about this gag.
Starting point is 00:06:01 I don't actually have their address. I clearly went to build it at some point. So it said it was trying to deliver to Brando Calrissian at Brando Calrissian Way in Arizona. And the number to call if you had issues was like 420-69-69-69 or whatever. It was. But I thought that I was a prank genius while i was looking at this tracking number and was so confused as it didn't deliver and i felt so stupid upon realizing oh they are not i don't think they're gonna find brando calrissian avenue in tucson arizona i
Starting point is 00:06:41 don't think that's real dress so i So I just fortunately, once again, continuing my refund streak, it went back to Amazon and I got refunded for it, but it ruined my bit. I was so excited about it. I felt real dumb. I even talk about it in something else. There's another piece of content that will come out where I'm telling, it happened the same
Starting point is 00:07:02 day, so I'm telling Jeff about it being like, I'm a genius you did you totally did you hadn't realized the address was wrong no I hadn't realized it was wrong yet so later when you see that you will know later that night pieces come together that's very fucking funny
Starting point is 00:07:17 did you then try to resend it or did you just give up on the bit I don't have their address like I look and I clearly yeah like and I can't ask anyone involved because then it tips my hand so yeah it's dead oh that's such a shame yeah it was a great idea how do you how do you like the texas chainsaw massacre game oh it's so much fun i love it it's great those people they do such it's the same team that made the friday the 13th game and i had never seen a Friday the 13th movie when I played the game and I got really into it it is such a weird they do such a great attention to
Starting point is 00:07:51 detail and everything that it's such a weird experience watching a movie for the first time but knowing how the house is laid out being like oh that door to the right leads to a bathroom and upstairs there's six bedrooms so I'm having a similar experience with texas chainsaw massacre game where i haven't seen any of those movies but i'm now really excited to watch them and rehab that experience of like oh i know the entire layout of this house this is so strange i always feel that way when i watch clue because we play so many like gmod murder games in the house that i just know the entire layout of that place in the movie like i'm like oh it's gonna go down the under the I just know the entire layout of that place in the movie. I'm like, oh, they're going to go down under the stairs and there's the light switch and then it happens
Starting point is 00:08:27 in the movie. It's like, oh! I liked that game a lot until Starfield came out. Yeah. All apologies to Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I really enjoyed it for about, you know, up until the moment I loaded Starfield now. No other video games exist. Oh, except
Starting point is 00:08:44 for fucking, guess who got another achievement named after him oh I completely forgot I wasn't even gonna talk about that the lovely gyms of war people name gave me a new achievement how fucking cool is that what what's it how long is it gonna take you to get oh my god I haven't gotten it yet but it's
Starting point is 00:09:02 called it's so sweet if like I kind of appreciate if they they at the time I don't gotten it yet, but it's called, it's so sweet. I kind of appreciate if they, at the time, I don't think it ended up being so, but at the time it was the hardest achievement in the game. They named after me, I think. And if anything, this is the easiest. It's called Jeff is a Legend, and all you have to do is type Jeff is a Legend into the global chat.
Starting point is 00:09:20 That's great. That is so cool. Isn't that so cool? What lovely people. i can't believe they did that that's such a weird achievement too that's really i've never seen that done for anyone yeah i've seen like speed running achievements in halo named after the like original best runners but and we've had a bunch of we've been you know we've been fortunate enough to have a bunch of references in in rooster teeth uh throughout the years like gears of war they named an achievement is it a spider which is a grenade stick like which is a
Starting point is 00:09:49 reference to early red versus blue we got a bunch of those type things but this is like this is so uh i don't know just so i'm so humbled and so appreciative of it it was such a sweet and kind and nice thing to do and i really i really appreciate it awesome people yeah that's really cool should we maybe talk about why we're playing games i mean outside of there's a bunch of reasons but one of the things you're doing with games yeah and then after that i want to pitch you guys on a on a new draft oh i'm excited about this this is great so do you want to lead in how do you want to how do we intro this how do we set this up will this be the first time people are hearing of it i think so they got a they got a a weird
Starting point is 00:10:26 pre-conversation uh hinting at last episode that we completely dropped and didn't didn't return to at all i mean i absolutely intended to end the episode circling back around to that and and put some kind of button on it and completely forgot so maybe like the best way to do this is my introduction to how this all came to be jeff, you fell back in love with games again. Yeah. Which is super exciting to me. I did. I am, might sound a little bit like a hypocrite at times.
Starting point is 00:10:55 I have been done with video games for about six years. And I really thought I was done with video games for about six years. Turns out I just needed about a six year break from them after making them my career for most of my adult life. And quite naturally, some friends of mine that have nothing to do with our podcast or with Rooster Teeth, they play a lot of Xbox games together. And they've been inviting me to play games for probably a year. And I had been almost doing it and almost doing it.
Starting point is 00:11:23 And one night, I just said, fuck it. I'm going to hop on with these dudes and check it out. And I had been almost doing it and almost doing it. And one night I just said, fuck it, I'm going to hop on with these dudes and check it out. And had so much fun. And then I have literally, I think we've mentioned it, but I've literally been playing video games from about 10 p.m. until 3 a.m. every night
Starting point is 00:11:35 for over a month now. Playing a lot of Battlefield and stuff. And I have realized that I have completely and totally fallen in love with video games again. I think I just needed a really extensive break and that changed how i feel about certain things i like the idea of you playing till 3 a.m because i because i used to do that halo 2 when i was a teenager and my parents would always be like shut up go to bed i just
Starting point is 00:11:59 love the idea of you doing it but it's your own door to go. Shut up. Oh, totally. Last night, Millie came in about 11 o'clock and was like, you need to go to bed. You have to work for tomorrow. And I was like, I know, I know, I know. You're right.
Starting point is 00:12:10 She's keeping you sane. I made an agreement with myself that I wouldn't play late on nights that I have to, nights before face. Well, it's a school night. Yeah. It's the only school night.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Like, I don't care about Anma or my podcast or anything else, but I do care about this one in terms of like getting a good night's sleep thanks but you're welcome uh i just say like this i just mean that this one requires more i don't know mental acuity and effort from me i need i need a good night's sleep for it uh but but it's hard it's hard to say no it's starfields out it's a hilarious, it was a sliding scale where we recorded an episode and you were very down about,
Starting point is 00:12:50 you didn't like how you performed in that episode and then declared that no more games on a school night, as you called it. And then the next episode we asked, well, did you not play games? You said, no,
Starting point is 00:12:59 I only played till 2 a.m. I lowered it a little bit. You immediately went back. You can't stop last night i stopped at 12 45 wow that is an early night pretty early yeah so i got a good six hours of sleep last night i felt pretty good about that so you're back into games gaming has been like my number one hobby this entire time i just completely understood where you guys are coming from with making content in the past relating to it it's
Starting point is 00:13:25 like i don't even when when you guys were doing that it felt weird to be like hey you just spent nine hours playing games do you want to stop and then come home and then play more games with me i did not so it's like always a tough thing of like trying to find time for that without feeling bad but this this break has changed and then i guess eric maybe you can can interject with with how this all shook out yeah just had some meetings internally about hey what are we trying to do with this and we have some space here approached jeff first with the proposition of hey would you guys want to do some gaming videos on the let's play channel and And Jeff, immediately, I think we were in an office and the first thing you said to me was,
Starting point is 00:14:10 yeah, I made the channel, give it back to me. Absolutely. Yeah, let's do this. Because we had talked about, if you go back and listen to the first sausage talk, I think it's the first one. I was very adamant against us playing games sporadically, but when this was brought to us and they said, hey, would you want to do something on the regular for some gameplay
Starting point is 00:14:35 stuff where it wouldn't have to be all of you, right? You can break out into like smaller pairings and things like that. And putting these videos out of gameplays, pairings and things like that and putting these videos out of gameplays i felt like it was a good opportunity for us to do video game stuff especially with jeff getting back into it and um so every friday on the let's play channel there will be a new face regulation gameplay. And then every Monday on Rooster Teeth first, you'll get an additional face regulation gameplay, which is just more. It's not the same game. It's just a different
Starting point is 00:15:14 video, but it's more gameplay if you want to go check it out over there. But we're going to be doing some gaming stuff on the Let's Play channel, right? Yeah. I'm excited about it i'm i'm really really really jazzed about it uh i really didn't think that we well first off you know there had been there had been obvious opportunities for us to do some gaming related content in face that made
Starting point is 00:15:40 sense uh gavin and and Andrew having their Halo speed run race in Halo 2 or whatever. And the time that we all ended up playing Warzone together and we just laughed and laughed and laughed, talked about hanging out in the bathroom and it turned into funny content. And there have been a few other moments
Starting point is 00:15:58 and races and bets between y'all and stuff. And the problem was we didn't want to put gameplay on the F*** Face YouTube channel it it's not good to mix podcasts and gameplay on the same channel. It's it's also not super good to mix super short and super long videos on the same channel. So it didn't really. So it may not have been the smartest thing to put the animations on the channel, but we thought that made sense. But I just didn't want to confuse the audience with the idea that there would be gameplay on the face main channel. So when the Let's Play channel came up for grabs, it just kind of made sense to me. It's not a brand per se, even though I tried desperately to turn it into one for a few years there, and I don't think I quite succeeded. But it is more like a distribution channel, and it just kind of makes sense since Gavin and I are already in probably 70% of the videos on that channel. Uh, I guess if, if you don't come to face through rooster teeth and you're not familiar with what,
Starting point is 00:16:56 what, with how we got here, Gavin and I worked in a department in rooster teeth called achievement hunter for 12, 12 years or so. And we made over 10,000 gaming videos. We made so many that I swore I'd never do it again. But here we are. And I got to say, Andrew, how many videos have we recorded to this moment? Between 16 or 18 videos, not everyone and everyone. But yeah, there have been 16 or 18 videos made at this point.
Starting point is 00:17:25 It's really weird too, because we all get together for some like big main videos, but then I feel like Andrew just goes apeshit in between making videos with individual people like Jeff on his own, me on my own, Nick. It's just, it allows for me to interact. Like I've never interacted with Nick outside of the show. Like we've been meaning to play games just socially, but but it just one of those things that didn't come together so it's exciting to me to explore different aspects of face outside of face as well like nick the whole thing with me wanting to make videos so nick started with i think i am easily the weirdest person here and
Starting point is 00:17:59 nick is the most normal and my goal is through direct interaction with Nick, I could either expose weirdness or make him more weird. Either way. Yeah, I think based on the ones I've done with you, they're not normal gaming videos. No, no. They're real weird. These are definitely regulation gameplay videos. They're definitely of face for sure.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Yeah, and let me say from the outset i don't i don't think this has been expressly stated between any of us but it definitely feels to me like andrew you have taken the creative reins and you're kind of the brain behind the direction we're going with all these videos like you've you've you and i've done some brainstorming and i've pitched a couple of ideas but I think most of the good stuff has come from you and you seem to really be spearheading it so thank you for all of your effort over the last three weeks one really
Starting point is 00:18:52 nice thing about it is Gavin goes out of town a lot and Gavin goes out of town shuts down but now Andrew and I were able to record like four videos while Gavin was out of town which is insane well this has been like the content that you guys made with the treatment hunter i loved so much as somebody who started through the community it
Starting point is 00:19:10 meant so much to me and then becoming friends with you guys like it was always i don't think i'd have any interest in making content at all if it wasn't for the content that you made so now in this weird way of this was something i assumed that we would never do, especially if you, Jeff, not being interested in games for so long, having a really natural return to this point, it has been so exciting to me to get to make these videos because it was a dream for a long time that I just I assumed would never happen. So I let go of. So now it's just been so much fun and it means so much to me to be able to make content on this channel That I think we would all agree. It's been an
Starting point is 00:19:48 Absolute joy making everything we have made so far. It has been I've had so much fun I feel like that's a really nice thing to hear and also you're an idiot You could have been in those videos whatever you wanted the whole time. Yeah, that's We flew you all the way down to Texas just to put you in videos. We were desperate to get you Okay, so one I don't think that I you in videos. We were desperate to get you in content. Okay. So one, I don't think that I was in a position at that time to do that to the level in which I'd want to or perform the way. I think most of those videos I'm in, I'm terrible in.
Starting point is 00:20:14 There's one I'm okay with, but like 90% of them are awful. Everyone sucks in the beginning. Yeah, I was about to say, Andrew, I feel that way about 90% of the videos Gavin's in. I'm at some stinking. I was about to say, Andrew, I feel that way about 90% of the videos Gavin's in. I'm about to say that's fair. I apologize, Gavin. That was not, Jeff, really. That was an 80, but that was one hell of a curve on that pitch by Jeff. I did not see that coming.
Starting point is 00:20:39 I don't know what else is going to. Well, just it's like we lived in a different world then, too. Like, I can't work in america there wasn't an idea of like doing these remotely like that was not a consideration so it was just plus on top of the fact that i love you guys as people and that is doing stuff back at achievement hunter at that time was the dream of so many and i was always so scared of tainting the well in the sense of I imagine it must be so difficult in your position to judge people that are in that space that they do not want something from you in any capacity that the friendship is purely based around who you are as people. So I never wanted to push that in any way even though internally someone who loves video games and loves spending time with you guys obviously that would be a thing i'd love to do so now having this come up in a way that is so natural and i think makes sense for us it has just been so much fun yeah i i've been asked about you know several
Starting point is 00:21:33 things to do with it and i just my answer is always i don't really care where it is or what it's called but i just want to make funny videos with my friends yeah that's pretty much the my core goal i think just in general i i think a big thing with this too and the reason why we said yes to it and and everything now it gets so profound or whatever is talking with jeff about this probably over a year ago jeff said i want to be doing face every day how do we do that and this is how we do that it is and i talked to andrew about it earlier today we're not I think keeping the podcast the podcast and how raucous is it is and everything is like really important and if we do more right
Starting point is 00:22:14 you're spreading or whatever but doing like these gameplay things has the core of like what really works here and what's so much fun about this show, but it's not always all of us the whole time, but sometimes it is and it's fun either way. So hopefully everyone will go check it out because I do think that the stuff that Jeff and Andrew have explained that they've recorded in war zone is so, is so fucking funny to me that I cannot wait to watch it. We have recorded in the last month, since this was a thing that we've known about,
Starting point is 00:22:51 like kind of internally, we've recorded like 12 videos because we can't wait to do this stuff. Yeah. We're like so excited and just turning stuff in every day. I can't, October 6th will be the first one. That will be the first video that will go up on the let's play channel and then it'll be every friday and monday it'll be friday for the let's play channel on youtube and on rooster teeth and then rooster teeth first on
Starting point is 00:23:16 monday so that's important to know and that'll be the release schedule uh going forward for now but i was i reserve the right to fuck with that at any point. Yeah. To add in content or whatever. There's no reason for us to.
Starting point is 00:23:28 We've been excited. So we've been generating a ton of content. A lot of it just because you want to find your voice before you launch and then that allows you a little bit of
Starting point is 00:23:36 flexibility. If you have a couple that you don't think meet the standards, you can jettison them, get rid of them or whatever. I just I like that. It's like my like the
Starting point is 00:23:43 So All Right podcast. I think I'd recorded eight of them before the first episode came out, because it's just the way I like to do things when at all possible. But I don't see any reason to hold on to a bunch of episodes just to slowly trickle them out either.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I know in particular Gavin fucking hate. That's a pet peeve of Gavin's. And I agree with him. And so we'll put out videos as videos make sense. But one thing I would like to elucidate on, I think, is that the one concern, if I were maybe a regulation listener or a comment lever that I would have is, does this dilute face? Are they doing too much? Does this face every day too much?
Starting point is 00:24:20 And to that, I would say it's something that I was concerned about and why we had those conversations over a year ago about what something like this could even look like down the road. It's why Sausage Talk episode one came out and then episode two didn't come out for, I don't know, months and months and months because it didn't make sense or it wasn't right, or we didn't want to rush it, or we didn't want to push it. I feel like we've been slowly building up to more content throughout the week, very intentionally, but as it makes sense over the last three years, to make sure that we can maintain the level of quality, to make sure that we have enough juice in the comedy
Starting point is 00:24:54 tanks to support it. And so this feels like a very, from the production side, from the work side on our end, this feels like a very natural transition into more content. It doesn't feel like we went from making one podcast a week to suddenly we're making five or six things a week and you have to worry about us diluting the quality of any of it.
Starting point is 00:25:13 This is something that we've been building up a callous and stamina. And so I feel really good about that. When like three years into the podcast, I'm still gagging for more face in between recordings and i think that's why andrew and i play video games so often it's just because i feel like there's definitely more to there's more to give it's also a thing with the let's play side of what we're doing where it's the same energy of what we have here but the game is like really
Starting point is 00:25:39 guiding things as well like i don't prep in the same way I do for a podcast as I do a let's play. So much of it is what the experience of what we go through during that time kind of reacting to it and unfolds for us. Like I'm I'm starting my perspective of let's plays when we start a video. I'm doing it because I really want to spend time with whoever is in the video. Like I enjoy all you guys. And then the content, I think, is largely dictated by what is happening in that video game, which is something that would never happen on the podcast. Like just the conversations and where things spin. I mean, we did a video last night where you just watched me play Starfield for a bit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:17 And I played like a bit of a lunatic. Andrew, it's interesting to hear your approach to it because I actually have kind of the opposite approach where that is kind of how I used to treat gameplay videos back in the old days when that's all we cranked out. And now I've learned through F***face how to prepare and how to – I've learned, I guess, a rhythm of the way I like to produce content now. And so I've been writing down bits and getting prepared for the gameplays in much the same way I do for F*** Face, because that's just how I like to operate now. So I've been doing... There's one bit I've been doing. I think I did it in both Worms videos we recorded,
Starting point is 00:27:01 where I start off the video with a little thing. And I've been approaching each Let's Play that we do do as long as i know about it going into an advance sometimes you surprise me with one uh which is also awesome but i've been i've been trying to kind of go the opposite route and prepare things for the episodes kind of like i do for the podcast i feel like they're all quite meaningful too like we're not we don't seem to be playing just any old crap it's like stuff we're currently playing or talking about or like i assume we'll do the the thumbsticks over there and all that yeah that's sort of why that kind of quietly went away is i had an idea for no once learning about this opportunity i feel like it just makes more sense to do it
Starting point is 00:27:36 in that format so there is a concept that gavin and i are finalizing for how that will proceed. So, uh, I guess to button all this up and get back to comedy, uh, October 6th on the YouTube, let's play channel and the rooster teeth. Let's play channel on the site and the app. Uh, check out episode one of,
Starting point is 00:27:57 I don't know what regulation gameplay it is. Uh, it's us playing worms, WMD, and it might be. The audience, it means nothing when I say something is the best or the worst because I've said it so many times, but I can genuinely say it's the most I've laughed in a very, very, very long time. It's an insane game of worms.
Starting point is 00:28:16 It was so crazy that I showed my partner just the raw video of it to be like, you need to see how this came to end. It is insane I don't think I've ever seen a worms game end in that way and for it to be our first was fantastic so thanks for listening to sausage talk I wanted to get through that because we did the worms and you were on
Starting point is 00:28:40 your account right Gavin you were able to play no problem what on the worms account I just couldn't join worms what the one thing the one thing that's always fucking present no matter how how you do it or how long it's been technical problems are always there waiting for you god i remember being so thankful to gut my office of all the pandemic recording set up crap, like pull up because I had like two PCs and everything was all over the place.
Starting point is 00:29:09 And I remember being so happy when we could go back to work and just throw it all that shit in a corner. And it was kind of sad to like get it all back out, actually. And then remember all of the ways I have to wrestle all that equipment to make it work. I just need to buy new stuff. I freaking hate that setup. I had the opposite problem where right at the pandemic,
Starting point is 00:29:28 I bought and had Alfredo come over and help me set up a whole capture station. And then I didn't end up doing any more gameplay from that point on. And so it never got used. So it's been sitting here
Starting point is 00:29:38 for three years next to my recording, my face audio computer, just gathering dust and waiting to be used. Do you think we'll get thumb cam over there on that channel?

It's almost like an anxiety thing of, oh man, I have to get up at this specific time and having rest would be great. Therefore, let my brain have every thought I could possibly have run through it.

Starting point is 00:34:21 that I'm banned. It just doesn't connect me to an Xbox Live lobby. And then if I switch to a different account it works fine but i don't understand there's like there's like a team named after you and you can't play you did voices for the game and you can't play yeah i think i must have like tried to sneak anus and like binge into too many worm names and they eventually i think maybe if you have too many asterisked names they'll they just kick you off i don't know know. You hit the threshold. Although you guys are getting pretty close in that words as well. Goddamn.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Didn't expect some things to get censored. But with you being banned, I thought, you know, you're in the game. I want to it was unclear because you just can't connect, right? Like there's no pop up or anything. It just says could not connect error. There was an error connecting to the session or whatever. Yeah. So it's the whole thing. So I decided I wanted to get to the bottom of this thing try to get you unbanned
Starting point is 00:35:09 so i looked up i i looked up who made the game and i went to their contact page and they have like a whole section yeah team 17 team 17 and so i sent them an email through their help section. They have like a can't get on or whatever thing. I emailed them about it. Explain the situation that you have. It appears as though you have been banned and that you cannot play. Are you doing this as you or as me? As me.
Starting point is 00:35:37 I did it as you, almost like as a representative. It was a very weird email. My client. Yeah, I have a friend. My client appears to be banned from your game it'd be great if that wasn't the case so that they'd be able to make videos with us in their account and uh they replied to that with by asking something like well do you know why they would have been banned and i i explained and i kind of anticipated maybe them just coming back
Starting point is 00:36:02 with a list of names that you've attempted to get through over the years and me having to just go, okay, you got us. That's understandable. That's fair. But they have been insanely helpful. We've been going back and forth. We had like three emails deep. They escalated it to a different level of their team to try to solve this problem. a different level of their team to try to solve this problem and i just got an email today saying that on their end there is nothing that appears to indicate that they're preventing you however
Starting point is 00:36:34 it might be a microsoft issue so they reached out to microsoft about it and microsoft told them that you need to go through this process. I'm posting a link. Go through this process, Gavin. See if there's anything there that says you're banned. And if there is, then that'll, I guess, explain things. If not, they're asking for screenshots of what your error looks like. So we can continue to try to solve this problem. Interesting. So we're in the process of getting you unbanned in works.
Starting point is 00:37:03 I have been banned. I have had my Xboxbox live name banned before it was right before the first griffball tournament i i named my griffball team team scrotum and i put that in my in my bio and uh i was banned from xbox live for two days over the over the griffball tournament that certainly is past i'm sure you're in the all clear i think uh i think it's been oh 16 years since that band so i should be good i one of my favorite things about playing the backwards compatible through xbox is that you can look at your rep which is a system that i don't think they have in the current thing but on the 360 you could give like thumbs up thumbs down and you can view your rep and it does a breakdown.
Starting point is 00:37:47 And so I viewed it the other day just to see like what it was. And I was like 63% avoided and or left bad rep, which is the phrasing is insane. Like it implied that more people voted to not play with me than people that just didn't at all. Like just didn't engage in that system. But it must be it's more than voted to play with you again. Yeah, let me I'm next to my Xbox. I could just pull up what it says.
Starting point is 00:38:16 But it was an insane, an insane thing to read the idea because I would never leave rep on anyone. thing to read the idea because i would never leave rep on anyone so the concept that people would more people in random lobbies decided to leave negative rep against me than people who just didn't at all i feel like all of that is from sea of thieves this is yeah it could be i wonder if like current stuff impacts it i feel like it's a lot of halo as well it tells you what you've done wrong too which is great oh like trash talking um being obnoxious uh griefing quitting early like all that type of stuff so you can see what what you've done in that way i'll pull up my xbox criminal record in one moment it's just loading in to the 360 speaking of once we get your setup complete andrew i really want to do some ship of uh thieves with everybody oh we need to do see thieves yeah i'm so excited like tall tales or something would
Starting point is 00:39:09 be so much fun oh it would be great okay so i'm in my profile v rep i am okay 47 preferred you or did not submit a review about you. 53% avoided you. So more than the majority, according to Xbox, decided against me. My details, 5% trash talk were the complaints, 2% language,
Starting point is 00:39:35 3% disruptive, and then there's a behavior category. I'm 9% aggressive, 34% unsporting, 15% quit early. I'm very unsporting, apparently. What is that, like teabagging and stuff? I don't know. I'd love to know what the definitions are for these different categories.
Starting point is 00:40:03 I wish I could see. That's so much feedback for what is typically such a passive experience maybe that maybe the whole getting people to turn off their xbox 360s convincing them that it was a recon code may have been held against me but i'm not saying i don't deserve some negative rep but 47 preferred you or did not submit a review is insane. I mean, realistically, the people who you made turn off their Xbox, you should have given them feedback that they quit early. That's true. They hit the wrong button.
Starting point is 00:40:35 They weren't paying attention. I'd love to know what your guy's rep is. How do I find out? You have to load into your Xbox and load a 360 game and then hit both start buttons and click view profile and then view rep. You can't do it from the app or anything?
Starting point is 00:40:51 No, you have to have an Xbox, I think, in front of you. I'm not saying it has to be now. I'm just in the future. I'd love to know what your guys rep is. I'll look it up. I'll look it up eventually. Hey, let me ask you.
Starting point is 00:41:02 All right, so here we go. What? Okay, here we go. What? Okay, here we go. What? Are you all right, man? Yeah, I forgot how I wanted to start this. So I know we're not a fruit podcast anymore, and this isn't really a fruit thing.
Starting point is 00:41:16 Yeah, we're veg, right? We're technically veg, but I was doing a little post-mortem on all of our fruit-related content recently. I was pretty happy with it, and I was just kind of thinking about the ins and outs of it and what worked and what didn't and i had a a thought in my head that i've expanded a little bit that i think may be some sort of a draft or a maybe a compilation i don't know how we would approach it but i got to thinking
Starting point is 00:41:40 about grape and how i i just had i just had made myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich the other day. And grape jelly is so much better than grapes. That got me thinking, what's the best version of each flavor? So I wrote down what I would consider to be regulation flavors. And it's a little bit more than fruit. But let me give you my list. And let's a little bit more than fruit, but let me give you my list. And let me know if I need to add or subtract anything if you guys disagree.
Starting point is 00:42:10 This is a malleable list. I want to build it with you. Vanilla chocolate, strawberry, lemon, apple, grape, cherry, banana, and cheese are the flavors that I think are are most often uh components in something else that aren't them can you give them to me one more time vanilla chocolate strawberry lemon apple grape cherry banana and cheese i i think that's a good list i think it's a very good list i feel like raspberry being omitted is very interesting it was on my i was on the fence because it's like if i add
Starting point is 00:42:52 raspberry do i add blueberry do i add blackberry it's a whole i already have strawberry it's like it's more popular than the other yeah it's like the flavors it's the snake eyes of flavors 100 okay so we can add or not add it. I just, I chose that. Like, I didn't know why, like,
Starting point is 00:43:08 I felt like raspberry is opening up Pandora's box of berries and I just didn't know where to close it. So, uh, but like I said, totally happy to add it in or whatever, but it got me thinking like, what if we got together in some way and everybody presented their like
Starting point is 00:43:20 three best vanillas, three best grapes, three best apple flavors. I like that a lot. I think that's a great idea. And then we see if we can determine Face's official list of what the best version of each flavor is
Starting point is 00:43:32 in the world. I like it. I think that's a great idea. I really like the flavor list. I want to know if internationally that holds up. Like if Gavin was like, oh, we don't do cherry. Like we do this,
Starting point is 00:43:43 we do woozles. Like that would surprise me. Yeah, I feel like we do this we do woozles like that yeah i feel like we definitely do more woozle than grape okay like i feel like uh like the default jam in this country is grape but in in england i'd say it was strawberry have you ever seen a blue raspberry yeah no i've never seen one but i feel like you've eaten a blue raspberry i've eaten blue raspberry flavor that's what i'm saying like it's i feel like raspberry is so disrespected it gets turned into a flavor and is not actually a thing oh like there are so many better red things than the raspberry that it gets subjugated to the blue it does and that that's
Starting point is 00:44:25 absolutely what they do they go well if it's red it's cherry so we'll make raspberry blue and so when you drink this thing blue is what you associate it to that's why it's called that specifically should we add specifically blue raspberry in then what i don't think what it what drops though like i feel like your list is really strong oh i guess i was just gonna add it we don't have to drop anything one two three four five six seven eight there's nine things on the list oh then yeah it should be 10 all right we'll do a solid 10 we'll put blue raspberry and then you just like you know and it could be country specific if you want but it doesn't have to be i'm just trying to think of like like when you like when i think of blue raspberry i think of
Starting point is 00:45:01 blow pops i think of kool-aid okay which I've been drinking a lot of because of you, Jeff. Oh. I'm deep in the Kool-Aid train. Thank you, and you're welcome. By the way, people were blown away that I used two cups of sugar, but what they're missing is I used two cups of sugar with two packets of Kool-Aid and twice the water. I just made twice the amount of Kool-Aid. The ratios were fine.
Starting point is 00:45:25 The ratios were identical. I just, instead of, like, trying to cut the grape and the lemonade packet in half and try to figure out, you know, exactly 50% of each,
Starting point is 00:45:34 I just figured I'd double the recipe. Sorry. Gavin just posted, Gavin just posted his rep right at the end of that. Oh, no! Oh, no! It makes mine so much worse so mine says 81 preferred you or did not submit review 19 feels right 19 avoid it which is crazy because i have
Starting point is 00:45:55 a very public gamer tag that anyone could mess with it uh trash talk five language two disruptive zero percent well you didn't talk for two years. Hang on. Let him keep reading these low, low numbers as he goes down this list. Keep going. Aggressive five, uh,
Starting point is 00:46:13 quit early seven unsporting 62. Then that's, that's purely based on what I'm doing in the game like it like i've never had a mic on so that's entirely like what my character is doing in the game feedback you're at it's not that you're being unsporting as a person it's that your character is being unsporting in the game but to be fair that's feedback from only 19 19 whereas andrew's pool is much bigger. That's crazy that mine is so high compared to yours. I was really hoping that it was just like
Starting point is 00:46:50 a weird glitch or whatever. That's for how many games I've played online, it is alarming how high my number is. Oh my god. That makes it so much worse. Alright, I'm loading up my Xbox right now. I will say while we're so much worse. Alright, I'm loading up my Xbox.
Starting point is 00:47:07 I will say while we're talking about the draft stuff, I saw a lot of people discussing Summer in 98, which we released recently. Our rankings for that. I think it's great. It's a really good piece of content. A lot of talk about us completely omitting Mulan. And I think that's a fair point. I think we may have missed on that one. It's a blind spot. I never saw that.
Starting point is 00:47:23 I don't know how. Yeah, neither did I. Never seen it it i think that was just the problem a banger music like for sure i used on the family channel get the stevie wonder be true to your heart would play all the time great music but i just i feel like we missed it we just didn't see it which is the case for a lot of those disney movies like i've never seen hercules i just recently watched the lion king for the first time the original one yeah the original banger I never watched that as a kid yeah like all of those kind of classic Disney from around that time I just missed so essentially any list we would do I just don't think I'd consider them I haven't seen any of the remakes yet I don't know whether I want to even bother no I've the Jungle book one was good but the mulan
Starting point is 00:48:05 was one that i i guess i have seen because i've watched all those movies but it's like i i just don't i don't know it didn't stick with me or i didn't finish it one of the two oh you see your you've gotten your rep i'm excited to see this i feel like if you were going to guess and i don't mean this in an insulting way jeff but but I feel like if, without context, just guessing who had the worst, I would have guessed yours was the worst. Really? Yeah, just based on not necessarily how you play,
Starting point is 00:48:35 but just me knowing you, I'd assume that you got up to the most mischief out of all of us. Well, here's my summary. Oh my God! 96% of gamers preferred me or did not submit a review. 4% avoided me. Communications, trash talk, zero.
Starting point is 00:48:58 Language, 9%. Totally fair. 100% fair. That's accurate. Disruptive, zero. Behavior aggressive, zero. Unsporting, 27%. And quit early, 27%. Where's the other, like, 38% though?
Starting point is 00:49:13 What's the maths on that? Yeah, that's weird. I guess none of mine don't add up to 100 either. No, they do not. Can you scroll down? No. Let me see. No. No. not. Can you scroll down? No. Let me see it. No.
Starting point is 00:49:26 No. Huh. So I would guess Andrew. I would have guessed Andrew had the worst. I actually, percentage-wise, might be less than Gavin. I think if you total up all the numbers, Gavin has a higher percentage than I do, even though I have more. Huh.
Starting point is 00:49:47 So my top two equal 10, and then 49, 58. So I have 68 overall, which is essentially just your unsporting. So for my percentages, I'm not as bad as Gavin. How do you have the default xbox 360 picture who me yeah i don't know why that's there oh you know what it might be you we used to sell um we used to sell gamer pictures for red versus blue way way way way way back oh yeah and i i probably had a griff
Starting point is 00:50:21 one and i wonder if maybe the licensing ended or wherever. I think I had Griffball. Yeah, I think I had Griffball. I don't even know how that system works anymore or where you could go back and find those pictures. That was a whole little marketplace that was weird, and it's probably something like that. Somewhere, some hard drive wiped all that shit. I can't believe you switched gamertags,
Starting point is 00:50:42 so you have a 14. Yeah, I don't even remember what i what it used to be it was something i will say that as the griffball logo i never received any royalties on that so that's uh like a big miss should have negotiated uh better you should negotiate like you negotiate i really should have yeah Yeah, you get 1% in the year 2023, man. Good luck. Hey, so how do you guys want to do this flavor draft or this flavor, I don't know, best of? Should we just...
Starting point is 00:51:15 Yeah, I don't know. Just everybody work on it and then we'll schedule it? So what's the format for what we're presenting? Just the flavor? I think we should hammer that out right now. Yeah, I was going to say, like, I don't, this is going to be the first time we're doing it, like, with a pool, for real,
Starting point is 00:51:31 that we have to abide by, apparently. So we got to kind of, like, figure this out. And is the idea to not pick the actual thing, though? Like, if I'm doing cheese, I can't pick cheese. I have to do, like, a cheese-flavored thing? Right, you'd have to pick, like, Cheetos or... Or,'d have to pick like Cheetos or cheese crisps or cheesy watsits. Oh, I see. I thought we were drafting the flavors. I understand now.
Starting point is 00:51:52 It's flavor not... Flavored things? Yeah. So like what's the best version of banana? It could be just a banana, but it's not. It's banana flavored runts. But are we drafting one for, like, one? That's why I don't know that it's specifically a draft and might not be more like our music playlist that we built,
Starting point is 00:52:13 where we all just put it in. That's what I was about to say. I think the music playlist format works great. See, but I think that this actually lends itself really interestingly, because if we're doing, if there's 10 flavors to choose from, really interestingly because if we're doing, if there's 10 flavors to choose from and we each get five picks, you can, each of your picks can be anything
Starting point is 00:52:32 from any of those flavors. So I might pick a blue raspberry Slurpee for my first pick. And then Jeff's first pick might be Doritos, right? Because they're different things, but they're from all the flavors. Does that make sense? Huh?
Starting point is 00:52:52 What if we try to make the best meal with these flavors? Is that something? That's interesting. That's a big meal, 10 things. I thought it'd be more along the lines of like someone says banana, and then now we have to all pick our best. Right. But then we're picking like there's 10
Starting point is 00:53:07 things that we're going to have to pick. That's like a lot. That's a lot of things. There's five of us. How about 50 things that we're going to choose? How about this? How about we have 10 items we do through
Starting point is 00:53:23 random draft. Everybody gets assigned two items and then you have to come up with the best two. And then we all present those two. And then we have the 10 and that 10 is the definitive list of flavors. The face definitive list of regulation flavors. So you're saying that that it's randomly selected which two you get. So you might get banana and cheese. So you are presenting what the best banana and what the best cheese are.
Starting point is 00:53:46 And then Gavin gets like blue raspberry and cherry. And so he does the best blue raspberry, best blue raspberry things. Like that's it? Okay, well, that's not. These are supposed to be the regulation flavors. You don't like them? We could do what we did with the Summer 98 movies
Starting point is 00:54:02 where we have the 10 flavors and then we have to only pick 5 from that and cut 5. Oh! I have to be able to what the 5 will be and then do a draft off of those 5. Especially if Gavin doesn't like 2 of the 10 that we just listed. I'm not a big flavor guy.
Starting point is 00:54:18 What does that mean? Where am I? Gavin's just gonna draft every flavor of bubbly as his best flavor for that thing I like the main thing I like a strawberry, love them suck them down all day a strawberry flavored thing
Starting point is 00:54:36 you never had a strawberry shake? what about a strawberry lemonade? strawberry gum? you hate strawberry lemonade? yeah nobody a strawberry lemonade? Strawberry gum? No, I hate all that. You hate strawberry lemonade? Yeah. No, you don't. Oh, my God. Nobody hates strawberry.
Starting point is 00:54:48 I don't like lemonade. I like the lemon. God, you're the worst. We're doing a flavor draft with a guy that doesn't like flavor. Well, I like some flavors. Chalky? As someone who's tasted the flavors that you like i don't agree i don't want pickled onion in this list yeah oh pickled onion for those monster much i don't want whatever
Starting point is 00:55:15 the fuck those those fucking sticks you made us all at the chip draft whatever that flavor is i don't want that on the list it's probably like yeast or something i twiglets were so bad i thought you were pulling a prank on us and i had to ask somebody else from the uk if they knew what they were nothing better like that on a cheeky christmas eve at your gran's house reaching into what looks like a bird's nest and pulling out a handful of twiglets don't know what a cheeky Christmas Eve is. Like a lovely little Christmas Eve. Here's what we're going to do.
Starting point is 00:55:49 Here's how we're going to work this out. Okay. Eric, you might hate this, but I hope not. Hey, whatever. Earless leader, you let me know what we're doing. I've decided it. Okay, we're going to come in. We're going to do a drafty type recording.
Starting point is 00:56:00 It'll be the definitive list, right? Everybody is going to come prepared. You're going to go home after this podcast or before we record the next one, and you're going to rank these flavors best to worst, one to 10. All right? Then we're all going to take the numbers, we're going to put them together, and we're going to determine the order of the best flavors. So if vanilla is number one, it's number one, then chocolate, then strawberry, then lemon. Then we're going to do, yeah, then we're going to take the first five and we're all going to submit one item
Starting point is 00:56:31 that we think is the best version of that flavor. And then we'll have a round-robin discussion. We'll agree, we'll argue, we'll come to some sort of an agreement and then we'll present the top five flavors. And then if we have time, we can do six through 10 or if it's really popular, we can do that in a supplemental episode
Starting point is 00:56:45 Gavin did you understand all that? An additional supplemental episode yeah I love it so like everybody assign a number value 1 through 10 then when we collate it the lowest numbered items are the highest on the list
Starting point is 00:57:01 I like banana the best so that's my number 1 and so whatever got it cool so I would give it 1 point and I hate are the highest on the list. So like if I like banana the best, so that's my number one. And so whatever, okay, got it. Cool. So I would give it one point and I hate, I like chocolate the least probably. So I would give it a 10. Good Lord. Okay.
Starting point is 00:57:13 And then, but everybody go ahead and write down your number one flavor for all 10 items. Then we'll just try to get them if we can, but we'll probably just do five and then split it into another video if we decide. I think that's a really good idea. I'll work with Gracie. We'll schedule some times'll probably just do five and then split it into another video if we decide. I think I think that's a really good idea. I'll I'll work with Gracie.
Starting point is 00:57:28 We'll schedule some times where we can do this. Maybe. Well, not next week, but maybe the week after. And then, yeah, we can do some. We can do a cheeky flavor draft. Did I use that right? Yes. Yeah, that was excellent. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:57:43 I felt like I'm learning. I felt like I was at Gavin's Nan's house. Are you allowed to meet her? I met her. Oh, that's fantastic. Yeah, they've met. They love each other. I love his grandparents.
Starting point is 00:57:56 I know I would love his mom if I were ever allowed to meet her. If you were allowed to, yeah. I mean, but, you know. It's a whole thing. Okay, cool. Then we'll schedule a flavor draft. I like this format. I like that we're doing new and experimental ways of drafting.
Starting point is 00:58:11 You know what's messed up is that vanilla is often the sort of like the most boring, bland flavor referred to it. I think that's still too extreme. Oh, vanilla is a flavor. I'm with you. Vanilla is one of my favorite flavors might be my number one i one of my favorite insults in survivor is is somebody saying that i i would call a person's personality vanilla flavored but people claim like clamor for vanilla
Starting point is 00:58:38 flavored products nobody wants what julie. Yeah, like water. Right. But it doesn't have a flavor. Right. I kind of want Gavin just to like create a dish of the most flavorful. You're annoyed because vanilla is a euphemism for bland. Yeah, when it's, in my opinion, quite divisive flavor. Dude, then you should definitely score it appropriately. I want to do this flavor draft.
Starting point is 00:59:08 We're going to find time. We're going to do it. I'm excited about it. I also want Gavin to just separately present his top 10 flavors. Oh, that's great. And we don't have to do anything with that. That doesn't have to be, that doesn't factor into our flavor draft. But at the end, I would love for him to go.
Starting point is 00:59:24 And now here are my top 10 flavors. Not off of our list, right, of regulation flavors, just his Gavin flavors. That would be thrilling for me. So I could potentially have stuff like cola or water on there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But again- If water is your favorite flavor-
Starting point is 00:59:41 Right, right. Then yes. As a drink, it's phenomenal. I want to be really clear that that doesn't factor into our regulation flavor draft which we have figured out and we are settled on these 10 flavors this is a separate thing that you will just let us know about separately that's okay and eric when does the freaking uh strumming video come out uh by the time this is out that's out wow really yeah i mean as long as you can give it to us and then it's like there are no notes that jeff has
Starting point is 01:00:11 suddenly yeah all right uh yeah i don't think i'll have any notes i'm not the notes guy hey i have a i know we're probably getting close to wrapping up but i have one other problem i wanted to talk to you guys about actually i have a ton more to talk i could do another episode just with notes i have um actually you know what instead of a no yeah let's do i'll tell you i realized the other day and i mentioned this to eric and gavin a little bit but it's something that's been kind of plaguing me andrew i realized the other day it just hit me all at once i don't believe in bigfoot anymore god i don't know what happened i don't know i just i just realized like in my living room i don't believe in bigfoot i don't think he ever existed and i used to definitely believe in bigfoot and i and in that process sitting down and thinking about it i realized i don't believe
Starting point is 01:01:01 in the loch ness monster either and i haven't for a long time but i don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster either. And I haven't for a long time. But I don't remember when that changed. Like, I don't remember deciding I don't believe in the Loch Ness Monster, which got me wondering, have you guys ever realized that your opinion changed on something and you don't know when or how it just did and you realized it years later or at some time later? I always find it weird that I don't remember a specific moment where I didn't believe in Santa anymore.
Starting point is 01:01:24 Because my parents did the whole Santa thing. But I don't remember a specific moment where i didn't believe in santa anymore because my parents did the whole santa thing but i don't remember a big moment where it was like finding out he wasn't real yeah i remember it spoiler moment yeah you learned like all three at once i remember yeah yeah yeah in the show the triple whammy that's why i'm like i am now i'm trying to think i have okay so this is sort of similar i guess to that idea but i as i mentioned i bought i just i haven't had kool-aid in a really long time and so i bought a box of every flavor of kool-aid jammer one box of each just to try all of them now is a jammer last time i had it is a jammer is that that like in a pout, like a flavor? Yeah, it's like in the pouch.
Starting point is 01:02:06 You don't mix it yourself. It's pre-made Kool-Aid. Okay, just want to make sure. Yeah, it's pre-made. Yep. And the last time I had it, I remember disliking every flavor but one.
Starting point is 01:02:15 But I thought, oh, maybe things have changed. Sounds like you're not a big flavor guy. Well, I love flavor. I just didn't appreciate this flavor. Okay.
Starting point is 01:02:21 So I tried two, two or three of them, and I was like, ah, this still stands i don't really like these that's too bad i've got like 50 packets of these kool-aid things to drink through about halfway through something changed and i really like them now and i don't know what it is and it is sort of alarming to me that like my tastes have changed at the the kool-aid time at the same time i ordered a burger from a place that i have viewed
Starting point is 01:02:46 as like a very mid-tier burger place best burger i've ever had so i've had a little bit of a crisis of like did these products change in some way or has my mouth changed in the middle of this process and now i need to reevaluate everything i've tried it's got to be the mouth i i had the exact same thing with ketchup i never had it as a kid. Really? I was probably 25 when I started liking it. Do you remember when? I think I just had some
Starting point is 01:03:14 really shit chips and I just dunked into someone else's ketchup and I just thought, wow. Now, do you think that you had liked ketchup for much longer than that? You just didn't know it? Or do you think it really did happen? No, I definitely tried it as a kid and hated it. Right, but I mean if you had liked ketchup for much longer than that you just didn't know it or do you think it really no i definitely tried it as a kid and hated it right but i mean if you had tried ketchup i don't know a year before you did and discovered you liked it do you think you would have liked it or do you think you needed to be exactly where you were no i assume my palate changed way longer
Starting point is 01:03:40 ago than when i tried it i think i could have been having ketchup for years at that point andrew i think your palate probably changed a while ago and you're just catching up. You're finding out about it. This, although... The mid-Kool-Aid is what, like, it happened. I didn't like it. Now I like it.
Starting point is 01:03:54 It could have been like you had a flavor awakening, you know? Like it changed. Some new buds opened up. I'm trying to think. I've had a few instances. Like, I didn't used to like spicy food and then all at once I did but it was only that one thing it didn't change how I felt about any other food or like I didn't used to like raisins and then one day I woke up in my 30s and realized I liked raisins and I went and had raisins they were delicious oh I'm not there yet
Starting point is 01:04:17 they're good I really do I really do dig them although you know I haven't tried them in probably at least 10 years try Try some golden raisins. See what you think. Oh. Man, Andrew, you need to try lots of different things right now. You could be, you could completely and change, you completely and totally change your flavor palette overnight. What if you're an egg guy?
Starting point is 01:04:38 What if you're only eggs? What if, what if the egg window was closed and I never knew I was? That's a haunting thought. Like you don't like eggs now, but you've never had them while you're alive. But I would have in the past. Now that things have changed, I no longer do. But maybe I would have prior to this big taste change that I've had. Can we just give you a big food gauntlet?
Starting point is 01:05:00 Yeah. Like a nibble of egg and you'd score it? I'll do whatever. God damn it we should definitely do that in person someday uh all right we should probably start thinking about wrapping this up does anybody else have anything you want to talk about eric have you ever read pooch cafe well he's gone isn't he yeah oh he left cover for the fact that eric said he had to duck out for a meeting but you immediately throw to eric i didn't see that i was reading pooch cafe it's a
Starting point is 01:05:31 it's a little comic strip i guess i'll find out next time hey have y'all uh y'all know how we've been getting a ton of images of the balaclava in yeah yeah people putting the balaclava on and showing it and i've been amazed at watching complete strangers transform into andrew instantly like it's amazing it's like it's like it's you in the photo it's it's so perfect and that got me wondering like what other like people sleeves do people wear and the only thing i could think of is you know how like some people will wear like that sleeve down their arm with fake tattoos on it so it looks like you have a tattoo sleeve on your arm yeah how come we don't do that with other body parts well like like for instance what if we made gavin's regulation knee and then you could just put on a knee thing that's got you would transform
Starting point is 01:06:17 your knee into gavin's knee so we just all scan our limbs and you can mix and match could yeah i think you start with one, like, you know, Andrew's elbow or something. That is a horrifying idea of, like, a person with all of our limb specifics. Yeah. Randomized. I don't think you want my knee. What's wrong with your knees? I've got big stitches in it. It's messy. Yeah, but
Starting point is 01:06:37 I had stitches in my knee, too. Andrew, how are your knees? They're fine, I would say. Regulation knees. We already did your face, though. Well, regulation knees is what we want. fine, I would say. Regulation knees. Your face, though. Well, regulation knees is what we want. Anyway, just something to think about. How come we don't, you know, we don't scan?
Starting point is 01:06:51 Like, we could have Jeff's foot that you could slip on over your foot, and it would be like my foot, just like we did with Andrew's face. What's the name of the face thing that we sold with my face on it? Balaclava? Yeah, I need to save space make a confession um i'm scared to say that word because i don't trust myself that i'm not going to say baklava which i know is wrong and so food it's a dessert yeah it's a food yeah yeah so i just i avoid saying it as much as possible because it sounds like baklava and that's what i think of more than balaclava I've never said that before
Starting point is 01:07:25 well you could wear that too I guess you could heat up the face a little bit some insulation anyway we should wrap this up it turned into like how are we gonna skin
Starting point is 01:07:36 ourselves and sell it it's like that no I was just thinking like it's so cool to watch all these people transform into Andrew's face but what other body parts could you transform somebody into you know I think No, I was just thinking, like, it's so cool to watch all these people transform into Andrew's face, but what other body parts could you transform
Starting point is 01:07:46 somebody into, you know? I think maybe my chest. Gavin's got, you got a good chest. No, it's not good. It's just, it's wearable. It's like a, it's all, it's like horrible hair, like most of it's grey. Keep you warm. Okay. Something to think about. If you get too
Starting point is 01:08:03 cold on one of those winter nights, just slip on Gavin's chest. Let's wrap this up or else I'm going to read why Kevin Costner explains why he left the hit show Yellowstone. Thanks for listening to another episode of the F*** Face podcast. Boy, we sure hope you enjoyed it. It's been a weird day. We recorded two back-to-back.
Starting point is 01:08:25 I don't know what I think about either of them right now. But we did, uh, we did give you guys a little, uh, a little bit of a preview and, uh, some changes. Uh, just to recap, we're gonna be releasing video game content on the Let's Play YouTube channel starting October 6th with a Worms Let's Play, I believe. Uh, don't quote me on that, though. It could be something different.
Starting point is 01:08:46 And rate and review, five stars, tell a friend, all that stuff. Bye. Hey, guys. Major League fan Jack here with a look at next week's episode of F*** Face. Eric wants the guys to start the episode. Gavin is in a church. No more Starfield. Jeff apologizing may be the worst thing ever. Gracie is down for
Starting point is 01:09:06 potatoes. Do you talk to yourself? And once again, Andrew does not eat the pencil. All that and more on next week's episode of F*** This.
