My name is Jeff Ramsey with me as always, Adrian Gavre free, Nick Schwartz, Eric Badoor. Hello. Hello.
Starting point is 00:01:14 In the Discord flesh. What color would your Discord flesh be? I'm thinking blue. Discord flesh. And it might be because the symbol is kind of blue. What symbol is blue? Their logo. company logo or whatever. When I look at the app
Starting point is 00:01:29 in the bottom of my screen. Are you talking about Discord? Yes. You think that's blue? Isn't it purple? It's pretty I mean it's tiny on my screen. I'd say it's blueish. It's blueish. Yeah, it's purple. It's straight purple, right? It's not straight purple. It's a blue is purple. There's a lot of blue in that purple. It's further on the purple spectrum than blue for sure.
Starting point is 00:01:50 It's less purple than the Capri's logo. It is. I have three apps at the bottom of my screen currently open. One is blue-ass-blue, one is purple-ass-purple, and Discord is definitely in the middle of those two. Oh, very interesting. Yeah, I just, I don't think I've ever thought that it was blue, ever. Interesting. Blue-ish.
Starting point is 00:02:09 Audience? We'll see. Hey, before we get too far in today's episode, I got to ask Andrew a question. I meant to ask you last week, and it got away from me. Shit. No, it's okay. It's nothing against you. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 00:02:21 I'm on your side. You're fine. Freaking out. Well, no, now I'm even more nervous. I just have to, No, it's been a while since we've gotten an update, and you've been very quiet on the matter. But I'm just curious, what's Gavin's strike situation like?
Starting point is 00:02:35 How are his uploads? This feels very calculated. It's definitely not. It just popped into my head like three weeks ago. You're telling me this isn't because we had a Gavin strike situation last week. But I've stopped keeping strikes for Gavin. It happens. He has made a genuine effort to upload things.
Starting point is 00:02:55 And that's all that matters. The intent is definitely there to be more on top of it. But intent doesn't fix stupidity. Yeah, mistakes happen. That's fine. Which is why in a Chioparico 2 or something, was it Cairo 3 folder? I put my Cairo Parico 2 footage in. You did.
Starting point is 00:03:14 And that's fine. Hey, mistakes happen. I'm not really keeping a strike count. I'm Gavin anymore. It sounds like he hasn't gotten any better. You just gave up. No, he gave a lot better. No.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Gavin became way. There's a point where every week I was asking Gavin to upload something. And now it's pretty rare. He made a considerable improvement that I greatly appreciate. So yeah, I don't really keep strikes on him. It happens sometimes he forget. Sometimes, you know, anyone can forget. It's fine.
Starting point is 00:03:43 But it's infrequent enough that it no longer bears it. Infrequent enough that it is, like, clearly he either adjusted his system or he made more of an effort and it was greatly appreciated. What would it take for you, Andrew, to start counting? his strikes again. Like, would it be like a, like, you'd have to remind him three or four times, then you'd be like,
Starting point is 00:04:01 we're back to the strike situation? I think, yeah. If it was like five pieces of content that was in a row, that would not be great. Especially across multiple days, because sometimes maybe you forget, maybe something happened on the day.
Starting point is 00:04:16 We had a funny, a funny problem with that, um, rocky, city one where I'd accidentally left my footage in England without uploading it. So we had to wait.
Starting point is 00:04:30 We had to wait like three months to put that out before I went back. And then when I got back to England, I remembered why I hadn't uploaded it. All my footage was broken. Great. We did have a note for a GTA that just got edited
Starting point is 00:04:49 that Gavin, Gavin included, had all of our audio in his audio for some reason. So Gavin's audio had to be correct. That was the one we talked about, where I was making fun of Andrew and then I did the same thing. Yeah, but that was also the same folder that you uploaded the wrong video in. Yeah, so instead of uploading the correct file with perfect audio, I uploaded the wrong file with the wrong audio.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Yeah. Well, you submitted the wrong video file and broken audio into one folder. But now we're in the correct video, still broken. spoken audio, but that's fine. We got Craig. Yeah, I was still, I was partially building my setup, but it's, it's soared. It was, but once again, very funny that you chose to
Starting point is 00:05:36 take a dig at me from my recording setup in that recording. Look, when there's a dick to be taken, I've got the shovel. I appreciate it. I've noticed. I don't think there's anyone who lets anything pass less than Gavin. If there is a club
Starting point is 00:05:57 if there's a mistake by someone Gavin loves pointing that finger at it What I respect about it is equal opportunity You do it to everybody It's not you just love it And to himself to be fair Yeah, sure, absolutely Subtle thing with Gavin
Starting point is 00:06:15 But if you spend a lot of time with him in person You'll notice oftentimes even when his hands are at the side He's got a finger pre-pointed It's just he's always ready to go Oh Christ Wow, okay strike zone for Gavin was not expecting that. Well, thank you, Andrew, for the update.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I was just curious how things had gone. While we're doing updates, Gavin, where are we with the hamburger thing? Oh, yeah, I haven't started yet. Oh. Okay, so where we were? Zero. I'll tell you for why.
Starting point is 00:06:50 I was in San Francisco at the weekend, and I was out with people. And there was a pretty good looking burger on the menu, but it was the wrong time. What is, what time? Oh, no. 3pm, right? Isn't that the time you have to eat it at? No, I got to, I don't eat at 1 p.m. 1 p.m.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Okay. That's right. That's right. What, what time was it? It was like 5ish. Oh, yeah, that's tough. That's not really, yeah. So you're avoiding burgers until you start at 1?
Starting point is 00:07:21 Well, I mean, considering I have like nine burgers a year. I'm not going to blow out at the wrong time. You're crazy? I guess, yeah. I never considered that this would be blocking you from eating. burgers in a possible burger scenario. Yeah, this is... Oh, this has just made it so much worse, I think.
Starting point is 00:07:38 It's funny because, like... Yeah, this was... this is supposed to be burger positive, and if anything, so far it's been burger negative for you. Uh, yeah, I think I was just putting it off because I was traveling. But maybe this week I'll get stuck in. One o'clock. Maybe. Do you think anyone's ever made just one slice of pizza?
Starting point is 00:07:57 No. Well... Okay. Okay, it was so fast to answer. If you make a pizza, if you make a whole pizza. Yeah. And then you just eat it that way. Are there any slices?
Starting point is 00:08:11 Is that one slice? Is that what you think of slices? Wait, are you eating it from crust to crust? That's what I'm saying. Like, if you made your, if you were like, hey, I'm going to eat this whole pizza. I made a pizza and I'm going to eat it. You don't necessarily need to make slices. You're just going to, like, hold and fold.
Starting point is 00:08:30 You could hold and fold. You could fork and knife it if you wanted to. You could just eat from corner to corner. What corner is there on a circle? Oh, edge to edge. Loop to loop. Crust to crust. Because a slice can be anything.
Starting point is 00:08:45 There's no, like, official size of a slice, I don't think. You can make a slice huge. A slice, a slice can be anything. Well, because there's a small, a medium, and a large pizza. Typically, some places do an extra large. And the slices, depending on the size of the size of the, the pie or different sizes because the pizza's bigger.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Yeah, I wonder if anyone's ever, like, tossed a slice. Tost a slice? Well, you got to toss the dough, haven't you? Oh, I see. I see what you mean. I don't think you can't. Well, you'd have to... You'd have to make the pizza dough, then cut out a slice worth of dough, and then toss that. But the toss would cause a bulge.
Starting point is 00:09:26 But then at that point, when you toss it out, it would circularize, right? When you do the process, and then you've just made a pizza slice. I don't think you can pre-slice a pizza dough. Yeah, I think it's difficult. I think you just end up making smaller pizzas. Can you cook a single slice of pizza? I just don't even know what you search to figure out what this would...
Starting point is 00:09:51 Well, let's start where this all began. If you don't slice into a pizza at all and you just eat it the way it is, are there any slices? Is that one slice? No, that's just a pizza. It's a pizza. That was, if nothing else comes of this conversation, it was worth it for that. It's a pizza. It's a pizza.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I just, I, I'm looking and I just can't find, oh, you know what? Would you count? What about this one? I just drop, I'm dropping an image in the, uh, in the, uh, in the, discord. That's about as close as I could get to finding something that's a slice. See? That's just a pizza. Right, it's just a pizza, but I think the shape is what really gets me. I think the whole thing on this is that it has to be a, but also slice implies that you've cut. Yeah, you have to cut into the thing. A slice can't be bordered by crust all the way around.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Damn, I think Jeff is right. That's such a good point, Jeff. That's a great qualifier. Well, have you seen those like On social media those TikToks where it's like a giant Fucking feast size slice Those like insane boxes A what size? Like a feast. It's like a feast of a slice.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I thought you said feet size. I didn't know. Oh no. I don't want to get Nick excited. No. No. How big is this feast size slice? It's like you have to strap it to the top of your car
Starting point is 00:11:23 If you're going anywhere. What? Get the roof right. Have you guys not seen those? No. Let me just search biggest slice of pizza. And that's going to be some Guinness bullshit that I'm going to have to navigate. Like this?
Starting point is 00:11:38 You have to put a pizza on top of a car? Yeah. Like those. I mean, if a pizza's on a car, I want them to drive it directly into my mouth. Jesus Christ. Dude, look at how big this pizza is. Did they make that in a hardware store? Here, I have a photo.
Starting point is 00:11:59 I don't know if this is the same one, but it kind of gives an example of what these boxes are like, where it is a giant box. It is like bigger than your average pizza box, like a large pizza box, but it is just one huge slice. Oh my God. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And that comes from a greater pizza? No, I think they just sell the giant slices. How do they make the slice? that's a great question that must be off cuts well I never consider that's such a great question of what does just if you want to order a pizza from there
Starting point is 00:12:38 what does that look like it certainly isn't like six of those there's no way their large pizza has to be smaller than their slice yeah I would want them to do the biggest slice you've ever seen but then just only normal size pizzas so you don't know where this big slice is coming from so the whole thing is confusing
Starting point is 00:12:56 That's, man, do you think you could eat one of those slices, Gavin? Serves five to seven, no. How long do you think it would take you to eat a slice of that size? Five to seven days. Five to seven. Jeff, this place is, this slice, this huge slice of pizza is in Monroe, Michigan. I don't know where that is. You can go and just get the biggest slice, a 24 inch slice of pizza.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Road trip. Okay. What the fuck? We'll put it on the calendar. That thing is crazy. That looks good. Okay, well, what about like a large pizza, Gavin? Just for context of like scale.
Starting point is 00:13:39 How long would it take you to eat one of those by yourself? Uh, how does it compare to a red baron? I haven't had many red barons. Someone else will need to answer. Oh. What's your emergency, what's your emergency freezer food? Like, I've always got a baron on standby. I'd say pizza is the way to go I just don't typically
Starting point is 00:13:59 Red Baron wasn't in Canada for a long time and so it just was never my default go to He couldn't get a visa I think a large pizza would be bigger than a red baron It would be more substantial than a red baron Uh thicker yeah yeah there would just be more pizza for sure but
Starting point is 00:14:19 Maybe we do two red barons Do you think that'd be fair? Yeah you could say a double baron Sure, why not? Just to kind of put it in a context. Could you double baron in a night, Gavin, you think? Probably not. Two red barons is more than one large pizza. Do you think so?
Starting point is 00:14:35 I do. Like the thickness is the thing that really throws me. It is the thickness. Because the red baron is so like crackery thin. You know what I mean? It's not, it's not like a big, like a large pizza has like some substance to it and it doesn't feel like a freezer pizza does. I'm always blown away at how, like a red baron isn't huge, huge.
Starting point is 00:14:55 But it is so many calories and so bad for you. I don't know how they've managed to pack so much dog shit into a piece of food. It's very, it's very like shit dense. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it is. It's so disappointing when you find a shit dense thing that you've enjoyed. What's your favorite shit dense food?
Starting point is 00:15:18 I don't know if I'd say it's my favorite. This was one that was just disappointing. Have you ever had Hawaiian chips? What? It's an UTS brand. They used to be kind of popular here. It's Hawaiian themed, but nothing about it is Hawaiian. I think it's like made in Ohio or something like that.
Starting point is 00:15:38 Is it these Maui barbecue? Yeah, but it says Hawaiian on the brand. Like that is, I'm sure Utt's just like repurposing their own product. That thing? Those, yeah, like a sweet Maui onion. Like they really lean into the Hawaiian factor. Their sweet Maui onion. There's a hulapeno.
Starting point is 00:15:58 There's, uh, I think, Luau barbecue maybe. Like, it's all very white people naming Hawaiian things. Jesus Christ. Coded. But I, I looked at a bag of, I think, the original, which is just salted kettle chips. And there's like maybe, I don't know, like 10 chips in a bag.
Starting point is 00:16:18 It's a very small bag, these, like, personal size ones. And it was like 230 calories. And I was like, God damn it. That's too many. Because you can eat like four of these bags without really thinking about it because they're so small. And it's like, oh, this sucks. That's how I feel with like chips in general that like Cheetos and Doritos and stuff. It's like, I guess I'll just eat these until I'm full.
Starting point is 00:16:42 And then that never comes. And so you've just eaten a large shareable bag of Doritos. Like you have to, I don't even stop eating Doritos because I don't want any more Doritos. I stop eating Doritos because my mouth is like sandpins. papered through all the way. Yes. It's just like, I'm in pain eating Doritos, and then you go, ah, this isn't worth it anymore.
Starting point is 00:17:04 They're definite pain foods for sure. Yeah. My frozen pizza choice comes from Costco. They have a Detroit Motor City style. Pepperoni pizza. Phenomenal. Great frozen pizza. That's my emergency backup.
Starting point is 00:17:18 I mean, honestly, like, the calorie-dense food that I probably like the most is either pizza or burger. where you just go like, man, this was not worth it for what I just took it. Like a slice of Costco pizza is so fucking crazy. Oh. It's like 600 calories. It's all right.
Starting point is 00:17:36 You know what it is? It's the Costco. Have you seen the Costco chicken strips? Yes. You guys just got them, which is crazy to me. We just got them. And it is like their, uh, the calories on it is crazy because I think the sauce. is like so, so bad for you.
Starting point is 00:17:59 By chicken strips with the sauce is somewhere between 1,100 calories and 1,600 calories. Oh, the sauce is the missing 500 calories. Absolutely. That's crazy how that looks, because that chicken and fries is the go-to Costco item of my life. Do you guys not have fries? No. No, not at all. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:23 I don't know what this hot turkey provolome sandwiches, guys. I don't have that. Pretty good. I've had that one time. Chicken McBank or whatever. What? Whatever. The bake, the chicken bake.
Starting point is 00:18:34 Chicken make. I just, you know. That thing on the left. That thing on the left. It's not good. I was trying to remember. I was trying to replay Costco guys videos in my head to figure out because the photo you showed is cut off. So it was like, I was trying to tap it.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Reflying Costco guys videos in my head. The chicken bake. He keeps talking about it. I don't feel like they'd go to Costco anymore, though. It's been a long time. I don't think they do anything. I think they kind of got left in the dust by the Rizzler. I mean, everybody would get left in the dust by the Rizler.
Starting point is 00:19:07 That's not an indictment on them. Rizzler. It's unstoppable. Unironically, get so much joy out of the Rizzler. He's great. He's great. He's the Rizler. He's great.
Starting point is 00:19:20 He's the Rizler. It's fantastic. He's the Rizler. Yeah. We had a video. that I wanted to make sure people knew about that came out, like a, at this point, probably like a week and a half ago, when this episode comes out,
Starting point is 00:19:36 the gurple jacket creation where Jeff, mad scientists, just went like, we're dying these jackets, let's fucking do it. That video is so good. Our friend Johnny Weiss edited that. And dude, it is that. I forgot that we had done it. I forgot about that day. That was such a fun,
Starting point is 00:19:57 day where Jeff just went purple time and it just started for it dump half of it in the water all of it it's like holy shit it was awesome that was a really good day and a really really good video I think it's it's on Patreon and I think it's extra medium and above but uh that has that was a really really good one that was a fun ass video to do some highlights for me were uh Jeff gloving up to protect himself from the copious amounts of tie and then immediately finding a hole in one of the gloves. Jeff, you did such a good job making that gripple jacket and I knew that when watching the video.
Starting point is 00:20:38 Like I knew the outcome of the jacket. But watching the process of it being made, it, I just couldn't wrap my head around how good it was going to turn out. Because it looked so chaotic. You did such an amazing job. I find that irrational confidence helps. We also got all the way to the end of the process and then while you were like tipping away all this stuff
Starting point is 00:21:01 you just doused your pants. Yeah, that was crazy. That like all over the pants, all over that little mat and then all over your shoes right at the very end. Just going, we're done here. It's like, no, not quite. Fuck. Luckily, the pants and the shoes were both new.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I'm so sorry, oh, thank God. added to the expense of the day. Have you won them again since? Yeah, I wear them every day. I'm still wearing this. I'll be wearing their shoes when I go on the office today.
Starting point is 00:21:32 What about the pants? Yeah. Well, not right now because it's 127. Dude, what happened? What the fuck? How is it 107 degrees? What happened? Jesus.
Starting point is 00:21:44 It was 116 yesterday with the heat index. It felt like it. I went for a bike ride. Oh, absolutely brutal. Well, go check out that Gerpel jacket creation video. It was a lot. lot of fun and the jackets turned out so well and they're around the office so that's uh it's really good

Starting point is 00:23:34 capable device required. Availability, speed and coverage varies. See mintmobile.com. How long could you live without sweat? Oh, I wish, I wish forever. It cools you down, though. You need it. I don't like it, though. Because I feel like in this weather, I can just do something as simple as put out the bins and I come in just sweating my tits off. But it's like, I know that I don't need the sweat because I'm only going to be outside for like 45 seconds. But my body doesn't know that.
Starting point is 00:24:05 So my body must think maybe if I don't sweat within one minute, I'm going to die. Like, I'd be interested to know how quickly you can die. Interesting. Because it's an overheating thing, right? Yeah. Yeah. Huh.
Starting point is 00:24:19 Is, okay. So let's say that you could talk to your... your body and you can convince like you can convey something to your body to understand as a new fact is that what you would teach your body uh yeah i'd have like a switch where it's just like hold off on sweating for like three minutes and i think i can take it interesting like walking out to do not sweat while i walk out to the car yeah what if it was like an ability like if you if you hold your palm in a certain way that means hey i don't need to sweat We're all good.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Because it has to have a trigger, right? Yeah, it needs to be like a mechanical trigger. Yeah, like you could teach your body like, okay, if I'm holding in this way, in this point. Oh, what about this? Hold your breath, hold your sweat. Oh, wow. You could confidently declare you've never sweat under the water. Your sweat has ever occurred.
Starting point is 00:25:16 I wonder if you do sweat in water. Yeah, if I was just thinking that, like a hot, like a hot tub, maybe? Oh yeah. Hot water? Yes. Get the sweat going. Oh, I never thought about that. That's, ugh, that's gross.
Starting point is 00:25:28 So in this case, I'm trying to get into the nitty gritty here of holding your breath to stop yourself from sweating. Yeah. When you hold your breath and then you're like, you hold it for like as long as you can and then you're done and you're kind of, I wouldn't say like gasping for air, but you're definitely like taking more air in than you would before. is that's what's happening with sweat? So you're just like all of a sudden you're just like gushed and sweats coming out or what? Why would I want?
Starting point is 00:26:00 I'm not asking. I'm not saying is that the thing you want? I'm saying do you think that's the thing that happens because you're trying to, you know, you're talking about holding your breath with it. That would defeat the entire purpose. Yeah, I don't think it would work that way. I think it would just, you'd start sweating.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Like your body would be like, I know what you're trying to convey to me here, but no, we need this. We need you. You're going to die. I just think I don't know when I'm dying enough. Like right now, right now, sat in my office. I assume I can sit here pretty much indefinitely without dying.
Starting point is 00:26:30 But when I went to the supermarket, I'd walk into the giant freezer room. You know, you put on a coat in that. But if I just stood in the middle of that room, there is now a countdown to my death. But I don't know what it is. Oh, interesting. Like I am dying now. Well, eventually. I just yeah I just I would like to I would like to see the timer I think I don't
Starting point is 00:26:52 I don't ever want to see the timer you want to see the timer you want to see the timer it would alert you to get out there well I think you your body tells you by saying hey I'm uncomfortable this isn't cool that's your warning that's your that's your alarm bell going off saying ding ding ding you're dying dickhead yeah you're dying dickhead you're sweating dickhead well I mean it doesn't work for at all things like car and monoxide. Your buddy doesn't really do anything. What's the nickel back music video where he can see
Starting point is 00:27:23 people's death timer? Which one's that one? Yeah, Jeff. What's the nickel back music video? I suspect you might be asking the wrong group. It's the guy and he's standing on a street and then he I think a homeless guy saves them from walking in front of a bus I believe. And then he starts seeing timers.
Starting point is 00:27:47 above everybody's heads when they die. Saving me? Maybe. It's not really called that, is it? It is. It is called saving me. I think it's from the album of Photograph and all that. I would love to see my timer because you can potentially learn other information.
Starting point is 00:28:06 Wow. That timer. I was just thinking it would be really fun to have a horror movie with that timer where like as you ran away like it extended or it got lower. you realize you're running towards the villain. You like every time you eat a hot dog, it shrinks. When you see it go down, like you're used to it going down by one, then all of a sudden it goes by 11 and you know, uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:28:31 That would be, oh man. You start eating kale, trying to roll it back. Or if you're like on your commute and everyone's like, where's the train? And then you could just stand on the tracks to find out when it arrived. You'd see your timer. there would be YouTube channels
Starting point is 00:28:47 like dude perfect where they're trying to get as close to like zero on their death timer without getting there you know what I mean that would be I'd watch it
Starting point is 00:28:56 I'd watch a guy almost die I want to watch like an advanced status version of horror movies now where there's just the timer above every character's head
Starting point is 00:29:05 at all time letting you know how much screen time they have left I'm in that's great I think he's a good idea I can't believe
Starting point is 00:29:13 you guys are a familiar saving me. Crazy. We're not Canadian. They only have, like, like, they're like a rock band here and like they're big, but like,
Starting point is 00:29:23 I don't think we have like the same amount of nickel back hits here. I mean, they are kind of a big joke in America, no offense. I mean, they're a big joke everywhere for a while. Okay, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:29:33 They might be huge in Canada. No, no. It's very heavily memed is the worst band of all time. And now it's sort of swung back around. Not to the extent that they're a great band.
Starting point is 00:29:44 of all time, but the discourse is definitely like, they're fine. They got all the hits. I didn't think about the Canadian factor. It was during the time in which I was watching like MTV Canada and much music. So I saw that video a lot, just on TV. I don't think I've ever seen this video in my life. I mean, you've seen the Spider-Man one, I assume. Yeah, you must have seen Spider-Man. That was big because it was for Spider-Man.
Starting point is 00:30:06 And it was like the guy from like saliva in it or whatever, or the other band. I don't know about saliva. Was that the other band? I don't remember. I can see the guy's face, but I can't hear it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's got that, he's got the fucking, he's got the fucking facial hair.
Starting point is 00:30:25 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Jeff gets it. Chad Kroger? No. No. It's the other guy.
Starting point is 00:30:32 It's this guy. Mike Kroger? No, it's this guy. That's the guy. That's the other guy. It's, it's Chad Kroger and this other guy, but I don't know what band Josie Scott is from. Saliva. I was right. Thank you. That's right.
Starting point is 00:30:50 I was a lot of work to get back to you being right. Yeah. Saliva call out, baby. Took a big loop. Not a great name for band. Not a great name for anything, I would argue. Well, I think it's fine for the thing that it describes. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:03 It's good for spit. Yeah. I think it's great for spit. It's a word I don't like. Really? Yeah. If I see it, I'm always, eh. Kind of grossed out by it.
Starting point is 00:31:15 Would you prefer it? If the band was called, like, gauze. Yeah, gauze, I like a lot. Gauze I'm fine with. Saliva, I don't have any positive associations with the word saliva. What about the band? I don't know anything about them.
Starting point is 00:31:29 Oh, man. Outside of that, they're in the Spider-Man video. No, it's just Josie Scott. Yeah, absolutely. You don't know, click, click, boom? I know tick-tick-boom by Eagles of Death Metal. No, that's different. I don't know, click-click boom.
Starting point is 00:31:44 Sad. You're missing out. It is sad, I guess. I don't know. I don't feel sad about it, but you're telling me it is. I'll believe me. Does saliva head stand up?
Starting point is 00:31:53 I'm waiting. I'm looking. I'm looking out until the regulation crowd. I don't see. Still waiting. For some reason, everyone's seated.
Starting point is 00:32:00 Weird. Maybe you need to say it louder. I don't know. It must have not heard you. It's clearly. People would be standing left and right if they heard. We mentioned a restock, I think a week or so ago.
Starting point is 00:32:15 a lot of that stuff is still there so if you need to get a patch hat or shirts or patches I guess or falcon signs falcons signs and no scrumping signs are still there I wanted to call that out
Starting point is 00:32:27 in the middle of an episode instead of at the end of an episode to see if that helped people yeah but that's my contribution that's the end of my contribution speaking of which I well I picked up one of the white metal shirts one of the white death metal shirts
Starting point is 00:32:39 the eat the pencil shirt you know because I didn't have a white one yet and I've been wearing it wearing it right now actually and that got me thinking do you think there are people out there that think Eat the Pencil is a band? Oh, that's a great band name, Jeff.
Starting point is 00:32:52 I never considered that. Because it's designed to look like a death metal shirt. And when people say, like, what's your shirt? And you're like, oh, it's Eat the Pencil. And they're like, oh, okay. Like, there have to be at least a handful of people out there that have interacted at a show. Like when Eric and I did that event last week with the Willems,
Starting point is 00:33:09 there were probably 20 Eat the Pencil shirts in the audience. Wow. They're out there. They're out in the world. And so I bet somebody asked about that shirt and walked away thinking, Eat the Pencil was the name of some sort of a sludge band or grind core band. Big ETP fence. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:27 I think you're probably right. I had to go get a tire replaced and I was wearing that shirt. And a like metal dude came in to get his tire replaced also. And he was like, I was walking in. He was walking out. And he just went, hey, let me see. that's a sick shirt and then just sort of looked at it for a second
Starting point is 00:33:47 didn't ask anything about it just looked at it and kept looking at it and then left and it was like oh that's cool hell yeah so we got the contingent you know we should go so far as to turn Eat the Pencil
Starting point is 00:33:59 into a band so that when people look it up there's like a song on Spotify they can find or maybe we can try and convince a band to change their name to Eat the Pencil possible we need an official
Starting point is 00:34:10 Eat the Pencil song recorded that exists somewhere for people to find maybe just on SoundCloud or whatever, but. Or the first track be. Marathon, man. It could be, yeah. We have that.
Starting point is 00:34:21 We could get, like, Burn Dog to play drums. I'm sure we could put something together. Ankle integrity. I like that. Integrity's great. Ankle integrity's great. Might be a good track two.
Starting point is 00:34:32 Or track one. Unless, you know what? Track one, ankle integrity, track two through three, Marathon 1, 2, and 3, and there's nothing on those tracks. They're okay. Empty track.
Starting point is 00:34:48 Track 8, 20,000 words. There's 15 lyrics on it. Do you think you're done for good on the marathon? Absolutely. I was done for good the week after I said it. I've been very clear. Yeah, but if you gave yourself a deadline of like 2030, you could probably get it done.
Starting point is 00:35:05 I don't want to. I don't want it. And it's really the marathon was the death of burger confidence, is what that was. Yeah. That was a maturing moment. That was a me being confronted with reality and coming to terms and like accepting that I have burger confidence.
Starting point is 00:35:24 And sometimes it needs to be put in check because it leads to nothing but pain, generally speaking. I don't think it should be the name of your autobiography, but there should definitely be a chapter called the death of burger confidence. Yeah. It was a very real thing. I'd love for you to write an autobiography. I don't think there's much to share outside of what's on this body. You're full of shit. There's so much I don't know about you.
Starting point is 00:35:49 There's at least 18,000 more words. Well, you are going to learn about me, though. Because I picked up a grade one book. Oh, you get my exams and I'm learning. I'm learning. I'm learning. Did you read the whole book and learn anything, or are you going to have to get to the second book? I haven't put pencil to paper yet. I'll share what I bought.
Starting point is 00:36:17 I think read until you learn is such an interesting concept. You just have to start at like the first grade and keep going. Mm-hmm. I bet I would learn something in year two. You think so? It's got to be something I forgot. Or I missed. Well, that's, hey, I'm around the corner.
Starting point is 00:36:32 I'll let you now. I picked up a thing. It's called Maple Leaf Mastery, Grade 1. And it's all the essentials. It's all that you need. Maple Leaf Mastery. I'll start going through. some hard-hitting learning
Starting point is 00:36:47 side project of sorts oh it took me to Amazon Canada yeah yeah yeah that's yeah okay it's where I live it'd be weird if I bought from like Amazon Japan that'd be strange the full year workbook
Starting point is 00:37:04 it's got your English your math your science your social studies got everything you need one book now I don't know if they have grade two mastery so this might be a one grade expedition never mind I scroll down and I found grade three. So it's safe to assume that there is a grade two.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Oh, there it is. I see one, three, and four. I see one, three, and four. And if I scroll down even further, there is a grade two in a different section. So do you think we should all get a grade one and then stop when, as soon as you learn something new?
Starting point is 00:37:36 And like, you have to note the page. Oh, that's really, it's a fun idea. Maybe you want me to scout first and once I find something new, then report back and you guys can confirm? Yes. Yeah, I like that idea. Yeah. We'll do that.
Starting point is 00:37:49 I haven't had any of those dreams since we talked about it. Maybe you cured them. I may have cured them. Speaking of dreaming and sort of saliva, I have a question for you, Gavin. This is something that happened to me. And you're the only person that this could have also happened to at some point. Have you ever sneezed with your CPAP on? Oh, yeah, big time.
Starting point is 00:38:09 Oh, what? Blowed out with that. Isn't it? Well, sometimes, like, if I need to, it is not often. I find that I need to sneeze while seepapping. But I had one recently where I wasn't able to get the mask off in time, and I sneezed. And it was a crazy experience.
Starting point is 00:38:26 It is like hitting nitrous on your sneeze. Yeah. It boosts it and it gives it all back to you. I don't know what that means. I don't know the give it all back part. What do you mean by that? Well, like it's forced to get it into your throat. Well, I feel like I'm just shooting it out because I'm a mouth sneezer.
Starting point is 00:38:46 I feel like it's clearing. What I've noticed is whenever I sneeze without... Mouth sneezer? We've talked about this. There are no sneezers. There are Mouth sneezers. I'm a through the mouth sneezing. I just thought you were wearing the full mask.
Starting point is 00:39:01 No, no, no, no, no. No, just the nose piece. So it's just accelerating air. If I don't have the CPAP on, and not that I've done extensive testing, but essentially every sneeze I have without the PAP, I'm sneezing three times. It's taken three clears.
Starting point is 00:39:15 probably because I'm a mouse sneezer. But with the CPAP on, you got the nitrous on, that was one sneeze and I was good. I was in complete disbelief. Maybe because of the air pressure going in, your body had to compensate by forcing it harder, which combined all three sneezes into one power. I think so. I think it was like a super sneeze. And I was...
Starting point is 00:39:37 Was it three times the satisfaction? It was shock more than satisfaction because I was trying to get it off, didn't get off in time. And then you expect sneeze. two right around the corner, no sneeze too. I was in disbelief, and I thought, I need to ask Gavin about this. I need to know if he's experienced super sneezing. I've blown
Starting point is 00:39:55 off the apparatus before. I've made such a... Do you mean take it off, or you sneeze so hard that it blew off of your face? Blew it off, blew it out. That is the most loony tunes-ass shit I've ever
Starting point is 00:40:13 heard and you've made my day. Well, because this is when I was, because usually I'm a mouth sneezer, but I wear the CPAP up the old nose holes. Yeah. But I had the mouth tape on. So it had to become a nose sneeze. Blew the nose out, which then sort of reseated itself on my nose. So it was like sort of pointing towards my eyes. And it made such a mess of the nose piece that I had to change it.
Starting point is 00:40:35 Oh my God. I don't think I could do a nose sneeze. I think it would ruin my nose integrity. I think maybe my unbreakable nose might be tied to my mouth sneezing. When you say mess, do you just mean like just a tremendous amount of snot and liquid? Yeah, yeah, like mucus, sputum. Yeah. Horrible.
Starting point is 00:40:55 It sounds terrible. Also, I think I can't wear my CPAP when I have a cold. That is, oh, it's so funny you say that. I just got a mask that it has mouth breathing as well because I thought if I get stuffed up, I'm fucked. Because if I'm, if I get stuffed up at all, it's tough to use the nose one. just without a cold if I just I don't know allergies or whatever so I just recently got a mask
Starting point is 00:41:18 that I was like if I my nose is congested I can at least use this I think I want to maybe do some testing and do a full head one like an astronaut helmet is that is that a thing I don't know it wouldn't work I assume it would work it has to go somewhere
Starting point is 00:41:34 there is there is a full face one you can get for sure but I don't think it's super effective and it's not like an astronaut helmet it doesn't look cool It looks like she's put into this unwillingly. It looks like any, like, apocalyptic, like, virus movie you've seen where they're in the hazmat suits.
Starting point is 00:41:53 It's just, like, the face guard of the hazmat suit. They do have the full face. That's crazy. Yeah. You should, Gavin, you got to get this. I might get in the lab. I might just go, I might just buy a bike helmet. Oh, not a cycle helmet.
Starting point is 00:42:10 What's the easiest helmet to seal that doesn't cost $8,000? Oh, man. This guy might have beat you to the punch. I, oh, Jeff, just, oh, Jeff is going next level. I sent a guy wearing a helmet. Jeff fought, sent a full, like, T.C. suit. You know, you're probably, with backrooms being so popular and around Halloween time,
Starting point is 00:42:34 there will probably be some backrooms Halloween outfits. Oh, yeah. Because those are, like, such a good idea. Budget hazmat. This is hose going. To the CPAP machine. It's in his, suit, Gavin. You sleep with the machine
Starting point is 00:42:49 on you. It keeps you warm. So do you think that you like plug in the CPAP in like the gas mask part it like the like on like the right side and then like the left side just sort of helps you breathe it? I don't know. I think if it's full body that's not going to be enough pressure
Starting point is 00:43:08 for it to force air down my nose. It's probably to be easier to get air down other orifices. If it's full body you might as well just sleep in one of those standing booths that they have money in that you have to try to grab within 60 seconds. It's the same process. Just grabbing a bunch of tents. Yeah. Let's try to catch sleep masks.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Maybe if I cut my way inside a bouncy castle, I just sleep in that. Oh, that's interesting. Is Gavin going to bed? Is that like a budget one? Can we get one for the office? Deluxe money booth. I can look. We've talked about this in the...
Starting point is 00:43:47 past as a precursor to the bit barrel. We can get one. I think you can give them for like two grand. Yeah, yeah. This one's like, this one's like two grand. It's a cash cube money booth. What if we filled it with ones?
Starting point is 00:43:59 We filled it with ones and you have to go in every time we're in the office and that's the lunch budget. We might be eating like gas station lunch sometimes. Yeah, we'll either be eating nice or we'll have to stretch 12 bucks across four people. Or maybe everybody goes in for 15 seconds and how much they pull out is how much they can spend on lunch. Oh,
Starting point is 00:44:19 and some of those reading candy bars. That's interesting. At, I don't know what these machines are.
Starting point is 00:44:27 I'm going to see if I can find them. I went to Texas surplus the other day. I needed like a, like a little drawer with like a lock. And they have a,
Starting point is 00:44:39 they have like two game machines that are, I don't know what they're from, but it's like, Alpine coin drop or something like that where you have to like roll a coin
Starting point is 00:44:54 down a like a little slope where you kind of like wiggle the thing back and forth. But they also have like another like ticket machine. They have like two ticket machines at Texas surplus. Should we, do we need ticket machines at the office? How much are they? I think like a couple hundred bucks. What do you mean by ticket machine?
Starting point is 00:45:14 You know, like an arcade machine. like where you're, you know, winning tickets and stuff. I mean, we've got the bit, Barrow. What's the other games? I don't remember. I'm trying to see if I'm trying to find it right now. You didn't take pictures or anything? No, I didn't think to.
Starting point is 00:45:28 It was just a thing where I went, what the fuck? But I was like on a mission. So I just, I was too focused. But it was so bizarre just to see. And it was, I don't know. I'll see if I can find it online and send it over. But man, fucking bizarre. Really, really weird.
Starting point is 00:45:45 What if we took a roll of tickets And we wrote down bit barrel ideas Randomly on tickets And then we put the roll in And then you play it And then whenever one comes out That has an idea on it You gotta do that idea
Starting point is 00:45:57 It's fun I like that idea Wow Wow All sorts of games you could pick for that I think it's a really good idea I just thought finding them for cheap Was really interesting
Starting point is 00:46:07 But I'll see I'm interested in seeing what they are Yeah right I'll see what I can find And I'll get back to you Because I'm very interested in this My name is Peter Parker, but I'm also Spider-Man. This Thursday, we're faced with a threat.
Starting point is 00:46:22 That can be anyone. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker. I'm just a neighbor, friendly neighbor. But he hasn't forgotten them. Sometimes Spider-Man has to do the hard thing. That's my responsibility. Talk to Banner? I didn't know you could get that big.
Starting point is 00:46:37 Spider-Man, brand-new day in theaters Thursday. When Westcham first took flight in 1996, The vibes were a bit different. People thought denim on denim was peak fashion. Inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked, the Rachel. While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get
Starting point is 00:46:59 when WestJet welcomes you on board. Here's to WestJetting since 96. Travel back in time with us and actually travel with us at westjet.com slash 30 years. I found something the other day that has changed my life. What changed your life? I'd like to share it with you all.
Starting point is 00:47:15 Please. Gavin, awhile back. you were asking if the kitchen made is really worth it. And we talked about how there are a million attachments for it and that make it, in addition to its core use, that make it indispensable. I discovered the other day on TikTok a snow cone attachment. Wow.
Starting point is 00:47:36 And so, I don't know if you guys know this about me, but I'm kind of a big shaved ice guy. A lot of it's been a lot of Bahamah Bucks. But it's so goddamn hot outside. I don't want to go outside. now I don't have to. I bought the house of my dreams that I never want to leave, and now I don't have to because every night since I bought this,
Starting point is 00:47:53 I've made snow cones. You have this? Jeff. Yeah, it's in my kitchen right now. Oh, wow. And then I bought all the flavors, too. You know, like all the, I got, I've been making half banana, half tiger's blood every night for dessert.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Tiger's blood? Yeah. That's the flavor? Yeah. That's crazy. You never heard of Tiger's blood? No. So cool.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Is it like a raspberry? Uh, it's a blend of, strawberry and watermelon and coconut. Ooh. Ooh, that sounds good. I have potentially a stupid question. Can you make fizzy ice? I think that is a stupid question.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Oh. No, I don't know. Like if you soda streamed your ice trays. And then shave that. Would it be like... No, I don't know. Well, it's gas base, right? So wouldn't it release?
Starting point is 00:48:43 Like if I froze a sprite and then used that to make shaved ice? Yeah. I could try it. I could definitely try it. Shave Sprite. Huh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:53 That could be crazy. Anyway, that's this, the thing is fucking phenomenal. And now I have like 20 different flavors of snow cones I can make. And I highly recommend. Now, I'm not sponsored by this, any of these, uh, companies or corporations. But I'm just telling you, it's fucking, it's a revolution. Jeff, you've changed my life. It looks so third party.
Starting point is 00:49:15 The fact that it's not like under the actual unit and it's a different color. I know, but that's from their official website. That's where I pulled that image from. That's crazy. Have you, did you just get like a starter kit of flavors? Or are you like, looking at- I bought a, like, a 20 pack on Amazon of different flavors. I see.
Starting point is 00:49:34 So I got flavors. Like, I got grape. I'll probably never use grape, but I got it if you want it. Have you tried, would you have to try old 20 at the same time? Like a suicide? Yeah, I'd consider it. Should we try all 20 at the same time? Yeah, I'm not opposed to.
Starting point is 00:49:49 grape, Andrew, I'm just like, that's not what I'm thinking of but I'm thinking of snow cone. I go through every flavor before I probably got the grape snow cone. Could you do a gurpil? I get a green. Definitely, I got green. I got green, I got like lime. We could definitely make a gurpal snow cone. Yeah. Oh. 100%. I could make one
Starting point is 00:50:05 ride it for this, actually. I'm jealous. That's phenomenal. It'd be cool to make it in the gurpil, gurpler. That would be cool. And have the actual flavors at their paint gradient. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, cover your ears, Eric.
Starting point is 00:50:23 I don't mean to offend you. But I had the Snoopy shaved dice maker and that thing fucking sucks. Yeah, we have it too. We have it at 100% eat. Gracie really liked it, but that's about it. It's not very good. It's not good. And I like it.
Starting point is 00:50:36 I like the idea. I like the spirit of it a lot, but not effective as opposed to this. This is incredible, Jeff. Yeah, I couldn't believe it. It was one of those things where I saw, I saw TikTok about it. and I was like Emily and I were both like well surely not it also feels like it would be so much easier to clean because like ninja has a slushy machine dude couldn't be easier it's just ice yeah yeah spray the fucking thing down it comes apart pretty easily while we're talking about ice and ice cubes essentially I also discovered this recently I've been meaning to show you this guys show you guys this for over a month uh as a little TikTok I sent your way it is a cool what it's good on it well you've got here somebody's taking an ice tray and they've put a pastry down across the ice tray and pushed it in and then they've cut hot dog bits into each of the ice trays and put ketchup on it and then a
Starting point is 00:51:31 slice of cheese over it and then they covered that in pastry and then they covered that in butter and then they bake it and it's like a loaf of bread with hot dogs cheese and ketchup inside it. Wow! It's like, why would you even call it? It's like a corn dog poppers but it's not a corn dog. Yeah. Wow. I hate it. It's maybe the most beautiful thing when it's done. And I think we should probably get in the lab and try this at some point.
Starting point is 00:51:59 Andrew, you're against this thing? I'm still awful hot dogs. I haven't recovered. Still sensitive subject for me. Understandable. Haven't bounced back yet. I'm sure it's joyous. There's a different time in my life in which I would have been all over this.
Starting point is 00:52:13 But in this current moment, disgusted. The only thing that worries me about this whole thing looking at it is, no, I guess I don't have any worries. We should make... What was it going to be? No, never, I don't... Yeah, I don't have any worries. Yeah, I'm actually not fucking worried at all.
Starting point is 00:52:27 So now what? Yeah, I changed my mind. Yeah. Oh, I was thinking maybe the ratio of dog to bread. No, no, no, I got no problems. I'm with Jeff. I'm not worried. I do think that, like, it would be fun to kind of like put different, like,
Starting point is 00:52:39 what, like a little chili cheese situation too in some of those and like kind of mixing it up, be like, ooh, different dog and different bite. Yeah. Very interesting. I wonder if you could distribute a McDonald's Cheeseburger across those and have just a bunch of excellent little bites. Donald's Cheeseburger. Why McDonald's Cheeseburger is your choice?
Starting point is 00:53:01 They just have good, like, one-biteage. Okay. Fair enough. There's no way anyone's ever taken one bite of a McDonald's Cheeseburger and gone. That's enough. No. No, yeah, I guess. See where you're coming from.
Starting point is 00:53:22 That's, I think my people go for two a lot of the time. You think about biteage in a way that I don't, and I love that about you. Well, I think, I think a lot of people think that the last bite of a McDonald's cheeseburger is the best. Do you think that? But I think if you put them in this format,
Starting point is 00:53:39 they might all be the best. Do you think most people think about what bite of their McDonald's cheeseburger is the best bite? I feel like I've heard it. Have you not? Really? He's talked about this before.
Starting point is 00:53:49 He has said this. same thing before. Yeah. He's talked about biteage. I just, I don't, I've never. He's mentioned how he
Starting point is 00:53:55 thinks the last bite of a cheeseburger is the best. That is true. I remember that. We had this whole conversation about, about what is the best bite. But just thinking about a
Starting point is 00:54:03 McDonald's cheeseburger specifically in like, what bite is the best bite is such a foreign concept. I just think trying to get, trying to convert it into eight last bites would be interesting.
Starting point is 00:54:16 Can a first bite be the last bite? Yeah. Okay. It's the only bite. The entire time we've been having this conversation, I've had this, I just realized I've had this TikTok on repeat, and I've watched it a thousand times. And it doesn't, it's just as interesting every time I see it.
Starting point is 00:54:33 I think, oh, here comes the cheese. Yep, that's good. Flip it over. Put the egg wash on. Yep. All right. Now, the big bite. Yeah, why don't we have an episode of Ice tray kitchen?
Starting point is 00:54:42 Ice tray kitchen, I think is a great idea. This could be, you know, technically this is a shape. Oh, it is. Ice tray is a shape. Series of shapes. I guess you theoretically could take the ice cubes for making the shaved ice and then put the hot dogs in. Yeah, and then we could all just get our ice trays and sort of make our own. I just did it.
Starting point is 00:55:03 I just did a shape. Oh, okay. Oh, fuck you. I used to shave coconut. All right. Are we all in office next Friday? Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:55:13 I think so, yeah. Yeah. Let's make this next Friday. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Nick is very in. it's gonna be great
Starting point is 00:55:21 outside of shaved dice and shaved coconut are there any other shaved foods kebab yeah oh you you but you yeah you shit yeah that's a good one that's a good point a lot of shaved meats
Starting point is 00:55:33 yeah I would think shaved meats is probably like the thing of spit yeah a spit or a saliva I mean either one whatever you want to call it you can shave what else could you shave
Starting point is 00:55:46 that's like a vegetable I guess like carrots carrots are shaved, celery gets shaved, lots of vegetables get shaved. Squashes. What? What? You can shave a squash, Connie?
Starting point is 00:55:57 Oh, squashes. I heard walshs. I heard washers, and I didn't know what he was saying. I thought it was like a, like, British slang word for a new vegetable. Yeah, I thought, I thought it was like an eggplant situation, like a different nameboard or whatever. Classic eggplant stitch. Abergine or whatever you call it. Yeah, aborigine.
Starting point is 00:56:18 is shaving the only personal hygiene that's also a food method well there's washing well you washing yeah oh okay you can brush on a source yeah you can
Starting point is 00:56:32 yeah there's a lot I guess I just never really thought about it in those terms I just was really struck by the shaving of it I was thinking I was visioning myself in front of a mirror outside as Gavin does shaving and thinking this is food while doing it like such a weird
Starting point is 00:56:48 Is there a temperature with which you won't shave outside, Gavin, on either end of the spectrum? Like, is it too hot to shave or too cold to shave outside for you? It's too hot right now. And I get eaten by mosquitoes. Yeah. What? Why'd I go early? In the morning.
Starting point is 00:57:04 If we're hot. Would that be like 5 a.m.? It's hot immediately. No, it's 7. Seven's hot. It's warm. He's so far away from his microphone saying it's warm. It's so far.
Starting point is 00:57:18 It's so funny. It's so funny. My mirror is actually too cloudy to use now, but because I did a video recently where I smashed a bunch of new mirrors, I've now just got a pile of mirror. You can put them in different places. You can put them all outside of your house. You can put them outside of Jeff's house. You can put them outside the office.
Starting point is 00:57:35 You can just be shaving anywhere. Your luck must be shit. Yeah. But it's actually really good though because, oh, oh, really good. Because if you smash a mirror, you get all the kinds of advanced angles. You get to see yourself from multiple angles at the same time. Plus all the good luck. What do you think, Gavin, what do you think is the unluckiest thing you've done for slow-mo guys?
Starting point is 00:58:01 Do you think it's smashing the mirrors? Or have you like slow-mo walked under ladders? It's great question. Made black cats walk around or something? Yeah, I think it's got to be the mirrors because I've got more bad luck coming than a human lifetime. Span. Yeah? I mean, one mirror is a lifetime of bad luck, right?
Starting point is 00:58:20 No, seven years. Seven years, roughly, you know, roughly, yeah, roughly a human lifetime. Oh. Interesting. Seven years is such a strangely specific number. Man, that's a big deal depending on how, what kind of animal you are.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Like, if you're a horse and you break a mirror, seven years a long time. But if you're a whale or a shark, it's like, I'm a sea turtle. What do I care? A toy. So, if a dog breaks a, a mirror, is it one human year of bad luck for the dog?
Starting point is 00:58:51 Or is it, you know what I mean? Sheldon dog, yes. Yeah, is it like, you know what I mean? I think it has to be years to you, what you are. Relative years to you? Yeah, I think so. Makes sense. So if a sea turtle breaks a mirror, it could be like 60 years of bad luck. Yeah, it'd be such a long time.
Starting point is 00:59:10 A crab would just have like this never-ending luck. This would be terrible. But if like a butterfly or a mirror, it would probably have like a rough four minutes. Yeah. Yeah. If a butterfly broke a mirror, yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:21 If a butterfly broke a mirror, it would have a rough four minutes. I bet it's happened. You think a butterfly? Is this one of those like butterfly effect? Like butterfly in China flaps its wings, cause a tornado kind of deal?
Starting point is 00:59:34 Well, I once watched a moth fly into a light and set fire to itself and then try and fly around that it could have started a fire which could have resulted in a mirror. Well, I guess you're not worried about the luck
Starting point is 00:59:45 if you've burned to death. The fire would have broken the mirror? Well, if your house burns down, Nick, I think the mirrors aren't making it. I think it's shattered, though. So if your house burns down, do you think you have the bad luck of a house burning down,
Starting point is 01:00:03 but also you get seven years for every mirror that burned up in the house as well? Damn. Yeah, I think if the fire was your fault, you go on to the end of it. You've got to count in your mirrors in your head and see how much... It's like an additional sentence.
Starting point is 01:00:13 You get attacked on. Yeah. I feel like the bad luck happened at that point. Nick, did you say it... If your house burnt down, they would shatter, not break? No. What did you say? No, I was saying, I felt like the rule about breaking a mirror applied to shattering it
Starting point is 01:00:30 as opposed to just... Melting it? Melting it. Yeah. You don't think it would shatter in a fire? We should find out. I don't think it would melt. Does a mirror shatter or melt in a fire?
Starting point is 01:00:46 A standard glass mirror will shatter rather than melt. explodes to direct heat. No, no. Thermal shock. Yeah, thermal shock. That can be on our album. Oh, thermal shock.
Starting point is 01:00:58 Yeah, track five, thermal shock. People will think Stone Cold is coming out. Oh, hell yeah. The track will just end. What? Now we're talking. My wife got revenge on me the other night in a way that I didn't see coming and I'm still upset about. Oh.
Starting point is 01:01:19 Like four days. ago, she bought a little surround sound system for her upstairs TV and her little craft area and I set it up and it's kind of nice. And so we were like, we should watch a movie up here. We should watch like an action movie or something. And she was like, yeah, sure, just put something on, pick whatever, put something on.
Starting point is 01:01:35 So I picked The Furious and I put that on, which she said was just two and a half hours of guys grunting and she lost interest almost immediately. But she was kind enough to let me finish watching the movie even though she left at some point and I was just upstairs in her. Didn't she have a podcast? about two and a half hours a guy's grunting?
Starting point is 01:01:52 She did, but she doesn't do it anymore. And so the next night we were laying in bed and she was like, let's watch a movie, but can you put any, no guy's grunting,
Starting point is 01:02:03 can we put something that's not fucking people kicking, just something funny, can we put a comedy on? And as a joke, I said, I was scrolling through
Starting point is 01:02:10 like Amazon or Netflix and I went, hey, Paul Blart 2 is on. You want to watch that? And she goes, yes, I want to watch Paul Blart 2. Let's watch Paul Blart 2. And I was like,
Starting point is 01:02:17 oh, fuck, oh, really? And she was like, Yes, and so I put that on And then I realized about 15 minutes in She was asleep and I ended up watching the whole Fucking movie
Starting point is 01:02:28 It was terrible all the way through Didn't we watch that together on a plane once Like we synced up our movies on the back of the chair It felt vaguely familiar And maybe that's why Yeah, because I know I've never seen the first one before But he's like on vacation in Vegas Does that sound familiar to you Gavin
Starting point is 01:02:45 And he busts like an art theft ring Yeah, it's real bad although there is one line where when he succeeds he says always bet on blart and I must admit that made me laugh only laugh in the entire film for me but yeah I think she she admitted that she kind of did it on purpose the next day
Starting point is 01:03:09 damn that's fucked up okay Gavin posted a picture of watching Paul Blart Volkop 2 on a plane that's amazing that's crazy Jeff was watching on the seat next to me and we both hit play at the same time. And we both pause it at the same time as well. Wow. You've seen Paul Blart Mallcop two twice.
Starting point is 01:03:28 Apparently I have. That makes a lot of sense because I was like, surely I've never seen this before, but how do I know what's coming up? It's not that, you know, it's not that telegraphed. Apparently I have seen the movie before. Holy shit.
Starting point is 01:03:44 Do you know what that was? 2016? Oh, you're actually not far off. 2015. Whoa, was it really? Wow, I wonder where we were going. What we were doing? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:03:55 I'm annoyed I don't have a picture of like both of our screens together. The picture next to this one is you just on your phone. I was so young, then. He looks thrilled. Yeah. Yeah, that's the achievement hunter hunch. Yeah. It's sort of funny to think about that travel, air travel has become so commonplace that you
Starting point is 01:04:19 flew across the sky to go on some adventure and the only photo you have immediate your thing is a photo of Paul Blart Molkoppedo screen of it. Yeah, I remember the trip more than what we were actually doing.
Starting point is 01:04:35 That's crazy. Wow. Well, let me tell you, it didn't get better with age. I don't remember how much we enjoyed the first time around, but I wouldn't recommend running out and watching Paul Blart too. I'd go to a movie review site. called Not a Fine Line, and it's just movies that haven't aged any better.
Starting point is 01:04:54 But it's got to be movies that didn't age well, that didn't launch well and also haven't aged. Yes. Bad both on both ends. You have so many pictures of me on my phone. I guess on the way back we had someone between us. What I was looking for was that, I don't know if we ever posted it, but there was a time where we sat down, you were going to watch something. You pulled your headphones out of your pocket, and it must have looked away from them for like two seconds. And then they were tangled in a knot that took you about 25 minutes to do. And I've got a video of the whole thing.
Starting point is 01:05:27 Have you doing everything you can not to just rip them apart. I feel like it should make me more uncomfortable than it does, that you have so many videos of me that I don't know about. There's a lot of my life you've chronicled that you have, I have a feeling I have no idea. I think you do at the time. Yeah. I guarantee you it didn't remember.
Starting point is 01:05:51 Oh, Christ. What an episode. We learned a lot. Jeff, I'm going to look into shaved ice now. Hot dog ice trays. Shaved ice. Yeah, shaved ice at home, man. It's a game changer.
Starting point is 01:06:04 Especially if you live in Texas. I think anywhere. Do you think you'll be using it a year from now or would it be long forgotten? That's a great question. That is a great question. And I don't know the answer to that. because I think like a lot of people
Starting point is 01:06:19 I have a propensity for getting really into something briefly and do it every day for like three weeks and then forgetting about it. But I will say I've maintained my enthusiasm for soda streaming all this time so maybe I can maintain my enthusiasm
Starting point is 01:06:32 for shaved ice. I definitely, I'm not gonna, I'm definitely not gonna get sick of eating it. I think you have a lifetime of enthusiasm of shaved ice and now the ability to make it at home and you will continue to get hot every summer.
Starting point is 01:06:44 So I think this might stick around. I was in, bed last night, all my phone at like 10.30, and I was just laying there thinking, there's a shaved ice machine like eight feet away from me. All I got to do is, oh, I'm already out of bed.
Starting point is 01:06:58 I'm already in the kitchen. I didn't even finish the thought. I was already making shaved ice. It went back to bed with my shaved ice. Aided in bed. It was amazing. Oh, I found out what we were doing. We were playing this game. Assassin's Creed's. Oh.
Starting point is 01:07:14 Yeah. Interesting. Play it early or something. I... Where would that have been? San Francisco, I guess. Yeah. I'm quite concerned. Eric, you were talking about
Starting point is 01:07:26 just getting your tire done recently. Yeah. You didn't put that on the business card, did you? No, why? Because I just saw a transaction for the company that we use for our business cards, but I also use it for my business.
Starting point is 01:07:41 And it says, a tire service for $2,600. Whoa, that's not right. Where did you see that? It just came in on my on my Apple wallet. No. And someone blagged my freaking card again.
Starting point is 01:07:58 It's going to be like the seventh effing shitball card I've got because someone can keep getting my information. My tire service was $22 about a month and a half ago. I haven't had a tire service. You didn't even have a car. Yeah, that's weird because your car's my car and I haven't had a tire
Starting point is 01:08:15 of them. Yeah. Well, I guess we should, I guess we should wrap this up so Gavin could figure this out, huh? Because, uh... Is that a full set? That's got to be,
Starting point is 01:08:25 at least four tires. That's four very expensive tires. Those are good tires. Yeah. Top of the line, baby. I mean, spare no expense for Gavin, I guess. Spare no, wow,
Starting point is 01:08:35 wow, okay, wow, okay. So I guess Gavin gets to pick he wants the expensive tires. I get it. I see how it is. Wow. Well, it's whatever Jeff feels safest with. You know what, Gavin, you're worth it.
Starting point is 01:08:46 And also, if you're offering me for any tires, I'll take you up on it. But Dan potentially be getting his tires done at 6 p.m.? Ooh, yes, Dan. Ooh. Where is Charles Ramsey tire service? This sounds suspicious. Is that England or is that around here? So you're saying that Eric claimed that he had a tire change?
Starting point is 01:09:14 And you're getting charged from a Ramsey tire service? Michigan? I ain't been there recently. You sure you haven't been in Grand Rapids Michigan recently? Oh, son of a bitch. Oh, Wyoming, Michigan.
Starting point is 01:09:31 Oh, no. What happened? It's like it's happening to you, man. Oh. Wow. Hey, they're open till five if you want to call them and see what's like. I have their number.
Starting point is 01:09:44 I should call them and say, did I just, did I, who just used my card? Yeah. Yeah, cool. Let's wrap. Let's do this. Gavin has a crime to solve. All right. Well, thank you for listening to another episode of the Regulation podcast.
Starting point is 01:09:59 We have to get going now because crime is afoot. We are on the case. The mystery must be solved. We're going to get to the bottom of this Sherlock Holmes style. And then we'll tell you all about it next week. Or we'll forget about it and you'll never hear another word about this again. We'll see you next time. Bye-bye.
Starting point is 01:10:16 Bye. Bye.
