Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, 4Play listeners, you can find us every Tuesday and Thursday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. We got our old pal Kevin Kisner on the show. Kiz is probably his fourth, fourth or so appearance. It might be five. He's been on a lot. He's been on a lot. He's at a rough and rowdy last year.
Starting point is 00:00:21 He's been in the mix with us many times. I was inside the ropes with him for his practice round, Wednesday practice round at the U.S. Open to Chinatok last year. as you heard about from Kevin Chappell, who he had on who was there as well. So we go way back with Kiz. He was leading a couple of major championships this past year. He's currently a number 40 ranked player in the world. He's an absolute riot.
Starting point is 00:00:40 He loves to get into it with us. We kind of, I feel like we really got the ball rolling on people realizing that Kiz is a huge beauty. We get a lot of the credit for his popularity. I think so, too. We should at least. It was shortly, I believe, shortly after the PGA championship in 2016, when one of his good buddy. he's reached out to us and had been reached out for a while. I was like, you have to have kids on the show.
Starting point is 00:01:04 You have to have kids on the show. Because I've told kids many times he's just boring to watch play golf. He's always like, yeah, that's what I'm trying to do. I'm just trying to be boring and focus on what I'm doing. And then we got him on the show and he's an absolute riot. So as always, we check in with kids, catch up on what he's doing, what he's looking for this year, shoot the shit with him. It's a good time.
Starting point is 00:01:22 Spring Golf is the presenting sponsor of Foreplay for the entire year. Starting point is 00:01:58 So go to Supreme Golf, get them. use them anytime you're trying to book A.T. Time. Use Supreme Golf to book it. Tigers back. We're going to talk about that. We've got to get into headlines. Gentlemen, I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but this headline, and I think you are based off the smiles, but we have a- I'm smiling because you're smirking. Well, we have an unbelievably important update from the Glover family. Yes. No, we don't. Yes, we do. I haven't heard of this here. I knew. I knew that was what it was going to be.
Starting point is 00:02:24 Frankie, let me tell you what the headline is. Oh, no. This is on golf channel.com. And this is all over all, kinds of different websites. But the Golf Channel.com headline is Glover and wife embrace new beginning. So her sentence finally came down, right? Sentence came down. There were rumors that she had probation and this and that. I'm reading through this article.
Starting point is 00:02:51 It sounds like they redid their vows, the marriage vows. Oh, I didn't even see that far. This is heavy shit. They did like some counseling stuff. Lucas Glover came out and this is, this quote's a real quote. I can now say she never hit me. Oh my God. I can now say after my wife blatantly just told me what to say that I, she has never
Starting point is 00:03:16 hitting me. I mean, I can now say she never hit me is something a guy who was just hit by his wife. I mean, come on. 100%. That's something a hostage says. It is never. come to my attention that I was never hit. Any other information is incorrect. I don't know why it was reported that way. We had to stay quiet until the case was over and we felt strongly this
Starting point is 00:03:39 would be the result. We had to take the high road and say nothing, which was difficult. There was a lot of things we wanted to straighten out in the report, but we couldn't. So, you know, they're claiming that the case, the sentencing, whatever it was, was still at large, was still a kind of undetermined, so therefore they couldn't say anything. Lucas Glover went on to say, There is no probation. We did a lot of things on our own that we opted to do before the court ordered it. We did it together because we needed it. It was the closure of everything of all of the mess, a symbol of a new beginning.
Starting point is 00:04:11 It was emotional and symbolic. He says about them renewing their wedding vows and the two starting a new chapter. A couple of crazy kids, you know, I wish them the best, I guess. You have to. Well, we always want Lucas to do well because we're afraid what's waiting for him when he gets. And he just seems like an incredibly good guy. Yep. We have a source who played in a pro am with Lucas Glover recently within the last year or so,
Starting point is 00:04:37 said he's just the nicest, most laid-back, chill guy in the world, was chatting it up, given a couple of the amateurs in the group some advice and helping him with their swing and certain shots that he's just the nicest guy in the world. And then he goes home to an absolute hurricane. Allegedly. Allegedly. In the eyes of the law, what can we say? in terms of her like charges was she did she get charged you know i really don't know remember there
Starting point is 00:05:04 was the i'm trying to remember it was the players championship last year when and the rumor was that he played badly on saturday so he went home and she beat the shit out of him for it and then like the mom tried to get involved and she like called the police on the mom and said the mom was like trying to it was a whole deal it was an all-time story these headlines lucas glover disputes the police report it's a police report you can't just dispute it it's a report from the police I mean, this is what the police went assessed, and then they reported this information. It's not like it was a, like, a Twitter, like, beat guy that was like a Twitter egg that's like, hey, I heard this. This is just a police report.
Starting point is 00:05:42 And he's, he's disputing it, which, you know, take it. Take it how you will. I can now say she never hit me. That's just. I'm reading this article. Shortly after Lucas shot a 78 and threw around the players, Krista called 911 to report she was being attacked by her mother-in-law. Lucas called back and said that wasn't the case. My wife has gone crazy, he was recorded saying.
Starting point is 00:06:04 So, I mean, their new chapter, you know, they've reached a new chapter. That was the old marriage, right? I love the visual of him blowing up on that day and them at his house, like his mother and his wife just going crazy, bat shit, like, absolutely hitting each other. And he knows when he's driving home, like, what's going on at his house? He knew what he was opening up the door. Yeah, and how about him having to call the police back and being like, my wife is being crazy? Don't worry about anything. She said.
Starting point is 00:06:26 But look, we are rooting for the bat. We're pro-love here? Everybody loves a redemption story. We're pro-loved. Second chances, all that stuff. Wow. Jinks. Jinks.
Starting point is 00:06:36 Drake time. Damn. That was crazy. That wasn't even just one word. That was all that stuff. That stuff. You guys had a little harmony, too, the way you did it. Yeah, because we were both going with second chances and redemption stories.
Starting point is 00:06:48 We're on the same train. Yep. But one went low. One went high. All that stuff. That was something. Anyways, the Glovers. Seems like the Glovers are doing better according to, uh,
Starting point is 00:06:58 a potential hostage of the Glovers, Lucas Glover. But that's, we can only go off of what they're saying. Sounds like things are going, well, just wanted to update you on the Glovers. If I'm rooting for anyone to win the Masters,
Starting point is 00:07:11 just because of the celebration on the 18th hole, I need Lucas Glover. Oh, her coming out to the... If it's not Tiger, it's Lucas Glover. That's who I need. But it's a little risky, because if he's in the mix to win the Masters, think about how hard the consequences will be if he doesn't.
Starting point is 00:07:24 The stakes are higher. I need the stakes. I need the stakes. I need him. I actually need him. I actually need Lucas Glover to miss a game, a winning. Why would you say something like that? I just need to see that they'll never pan to her, but you'll see in the corner of the frame someone just storm and you'll see a crowd like get pushed away.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Like, oh, you'll hear noises like, ooh. And it's all crowds like getting pummeled. I don't know. And then all of a sudden, like a car just explodes in the parking lot. And Lucas Glover standing on the green. There's a burning car in the party lot. The club are standing on the green like, please don't let me go home. And there goes, and there goes the four place.
Starting point is 00:08:03 We said it would fall. We knew it would fall. They're like, sir, you have to leave the premises. The Masters is over. It's Monday after the Masters, you have to leave. I'm just going to stay and just soak it all in, guys. You guys go home, I'll lock up. Can I please just sleep here?
Starting point is 00:08:20 Please. The next time he shoots like a 78, the cop should intercept him on his, way home and put a wire on him and just to see what it goes on once he gets back. Poor Lucas Glover. Yeah, I just, I don't know if my heart could take that. To be honest, I would way rather, I think everything's the marriage, the new beginning, all that stuff is way better off. If he just kind of hovers around the middle of the pack, you know, he makes the cut, she doesn't get her expectations too high, she therefore can't be let down too badly, he's bringing home with paycheck, you know, that's kind of where I want Lucas Glover to win.
Starting point is 00:08:52 I just, I couldn't take it down the stretch on the back 90s. He's in the mix. the wind in Augusta. Every swing he takes, every putt he takes, I'm going to be cringing, like, oh, this could be it. This could do him in. I don't know that I can handle that. There's a lot of water on the back night at Augusta. I just, Lucas, hover around him. And at that time, his guard may be down.
Starting point is 00:09:12 He may think the new beginnings is in full effect. You know, they've been going to counseling. So you think the renewed vows? Maybe he's like, oh, maybe she's changed. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. New beginnings. I mean, she does the renewed vows during the offseason.
Starting point is 00:09:23 Guys will play golf in a couple months. Everything's happy-go-lucky. renewed vows, like, you know, he's stepping up to the tea. He's feeling great. The first double gets written down on the scorecard of 2019. Boom. So that's the update on the Glover's rooting for him. Big Glover fans here, hoping all is well on the home front.
Starting point is 00:09:43 Peter Millar was founded in 2001 with a single cashmere sweater and has grown into a premium American lifestyle brand featuring a wide range of casual sportswear, tailored menswear, and luxury performance golf apparel. reminder our link, petermalar.com slash four. You can get complimentary shipping and a free hat. Peter Milar is hands down, in my opinion. I've been rocking it way before they ever worked with us. The best golf apparel company in the world.
Starting point is 00:10:12 Their five pocket pants. So I actually had an extra pair that I gave to my brother. My brother, then I found out from my mother that the only thing my brother asked for for Christmas was this pair of five pocket Peter Milar pants in every color that they make. He got the Peter Millar bug. He's got the bug. Where are the five pockets? The five pockets.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Too traditional. They're, well, I mean, two traditional on each side, and then they got another little guy in one of the pockets. Got it. You know what I'm saying? It's kind of like a pocket within a pocket. Got it. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:43 And these things, I mean, yeah, that's a good question. Yeah, every time I hear it, I'm like, you know, because I've seen it, I've seen it on. You, everything. You're thinking, you're looking at rigs. Where is that fifth pocket? You're looking at rick's thinking, where's that fifth pocket? All the time.
Starting point is 00:10:54 You're just like looking at all. around my crotch and stuff. Yeah, I look at you. Like, everything. That's nice. I mean, I look for the fifth pocket. It's good to know where the fifth pocket is because that is clearly the selling point. It's better for him to ask than to be coming over and being like, hey, I'll tell you something.
Starting point is 00:11:08 I said Tommy smokes with a Peter Millar gift bag the other day. And I never seen someone transform their like look more than, I mean, Tommy smokes usually wears like ill-fitting t-shirts and like khaki pants that are like from the gap. Yeah. And he came in the next day wearing all Peter Milar, and I gasped. I said, where is that quarterstone from? He's like, it's Peter Mila. I've never, no joke, I've never worn a single piece of apparel from a company that gets more, wow, that looks nice than Peter Malar stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:41 People are just looking at it, like, oh, that's just you look at. And it's unbelievably comfortable. Like, my brother's just obsessed with his pants. He doesn't actually, I don't even know that my brother cares what he looks like. He just loves being comfortable, and he's aware that these look great. So they're that comfortable. I mean, their stuff's just the best. The Peter Mallar is awesome.
Starting point is 00:11:55 What I love about the Peter Marr pants, they offer so much comfort and style, no matter what I'm doing, they're lightweight, highly breathable, made from the highest quality Pima, P-I-M-A, cotton. Sounds right. Sounds like really good cotton. And have comfort stretch for ease of movement. Five bag of pants I am wearing are the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever worn. So go to petermalar.com slash four to check out some of my Peter Malar favorites.

You're going to get complimentary shipping and a free hat. Adam Long wins the Desert Classic. This is a wild finish. So yesterday, obviously, AFC, NFC championship games.
Starting point is 00:12:39 So the Saints games going on and unbelievable finish with all the drama, the worst miss call, blown call in the history of sports, I think, on the no-pass interference call late in the game. Certainly the worst miscariness. call with the highest of stakes, I would say. I'd say all things factored in had to be, yeah, had to be the biggest and worst miscall of our lifetime, I think. I mean, we were talking earlier, think about the implications of the Saints going to the Super Bowl, how much it increases the value of the Saints franchise, how much it increases Drew Breeze's pedigree and his resume
Starting point is 00:13:13 as one of the great quarterbacks of all time. If he gets to go to another Super Bowl, gets the chance to win that Super Bowl, if he has the chance, which they deserve, they got, they won the They won the game. I mean, they just got stolen from them. If he gets to go and then has a chance to take down Tom Brady in the Super Bowl, all of those things, all the bonus checks that go into it, all the merch, the extra merchandise that they sell, all of that. Just ripped away in just a blatant, most blatant miss call I've ever seen. Wasn't even that close. I mean, he murdered the guy.
Starting point is 00:13:43 It was a helmet-to-helmet. Ball. That was really, that was like insult to injury after the game. Everybody knew it was a mispass interference call. and then the NFL was like, yeah, we blew the passenger It's called, we also blew the head to the head, like, fuck. Yeah, and a couple people were saying, like,
Starting point is 00:13:57 I don't think the receiver didn't himself any favors. He wasn't really, like, going crazy afterwards. It's like, I think he was in La La Land because he just got a helmet to helmet. The guy came across like Goldberg for the WWE and just speared him through, like, the sideline. It was crazy. That's a move that I pull when I play NFL Blitz. You just take out the wide receiver before the ball gets there,
Starting point is 00:14:14 and they don't call it in Blitz because it's anything goes. But it was an actual NFL game with the Super Bowl on the line. If this was a movie, prison football game, everybody's throwing the flag there. Like the longest yard. If this happened to the longest yard, this would they would have called a penalty. 100%. Look, I understand we're all in jail for murdering people and shit. There's a prison.
Starting point is 00:14:29 That's, like, that's just illegal. You just can't do that. You can't do that. You can't do that anywhere. Stunning. So anyways, that was happening. And then as this is happening, I'm watching the game. Everybody knows I'm a lifelong Saints fan. People were tweeting at us nonstop about the Phil Nicholson finish. Yep. And Adam Hadwin and Adam Long
Starting point is 00:14:45 at the Desert Classic. So I flip over to that. They're on the 18th hole. This guy Adam Long, who has his only win ever, was on the Hooters tour in 2011, which the Hooters tour is like, I mean, I think you win less money than it costs like the fee is to get into the tournament if you win like first place. It's like staying at the Hooters, like Hotel in Vegas. Basically, it's the Hooters Hotel of Vegas version of a golf tour. And again, that's where a lot of these guys got to get started.
Starting point is 00:15:14 You start playing a little professional golf. You got to really work your way up to even get a sniff near like the web.com. tour for all that type of stuff that's his guy's only professional win he's 31 years old st louis guy by the way no we deal love st louis his previous best pGA tour finish was a tie for 63rd he had missed each of his last four cuts i think this is only his fifth career pGA tour event and all of a sudden down the stretch he's balls he's absolute nails he's lights out on 1870 second hole he's got like this down or uh side hill lie severe ball below his feet situation, water left, hits a dart, right?
Starting point is 00:15:52 at the flag stick to like 10, 12, 13 feet, something like that. And then cans, like, a hard right to left little curler in there to win. Unbelievable finish. Phil Mickelson, how about this from Phil? Phil starts the tournament with a 12 under 60, okay? Yep, not bad. Starts the tournament like that. Then follows that up, 68, 66, 69 doesn't win the golf tournament.
Starting point is 00:16:16 Yeah, so if you got to be a collapse He, no, I mean You know, it's not a collapse, right? No, you just got like outplayed for like, you know, the last two days, but still played well. Played great. It's definitely not a collapse. Like, he didn't, he said he had a horrible putting day yesterday, Sunday. So obviously, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:35 They finished three under. Right. He shut three under for the day. He shot $2,500 for the tournament. I mean, Long finished $7.00. Right. So, I mean, he just got beat. I saw a lot of tweets.
Starting point is 00:16:45 I know some people called. to Barsal Radio. The guy was like, you know, how did you miss? He goes, did you see the, uh, the, the, the Phil collapse? And I, like, went to the computer. I'm like, what collapse? There's no collapse. Phil legitimately, he shot four rounds in the 60s.
Starting point is 00:16:59 One of them was A-60. And then, like I said, shot 68, 66, 66, 69. I think you can only take positives away from that. So phenomenal performance. He did, like, burn the edges, missed a ton of putts. I was looking at some of the highlights. So, yeah, you could say, like, he just got cold with the putter. I wouldn't call it a collapse.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Claps to me if you shot, like, 75. Yeah, or if he, right, even if he did shoot 69, but he had like a three-stroke lead with four holes left and he went like boogie-boogie. He didn't pull a Lucas Glover. No, definitely didn't pull a Lucas Glover. I don't know why. That's kind of a cheap shot. I thought we were trying to be positive. I know.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I can't get him out of my head. It's all, everything is on the up and up for Lucas Glover. New beginnings. Yes. New beginnings. Was this the easiest golf course in the world? They always go low here. I mean, 26 under, 25 under, 2500, 24, under. How about this?
Starting point is 00:17:42 Our guy, Kiz, who's on the show. He shot 11 under and tied for 50. Yeah, I mean, 1100 is dog shit. It's a dog shit. Terrible. We might as well miss the cut. Right. Yeah, that's like he played horrible.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Here's my question. Like, would this translate to it being easier for the average golfer to play to? Yeah, I think so. You think so? Well, one thing I really noticed is even, like, when they'd miss fairways by a mile and stuff, there's like basically no rough. Okay. The rough looked minuscule. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:18:12 So, you know, I think that. Like, you play Glenn Oaks all the time. time and like I played there a bunch and like that's a course that like tears people up sometimes right and like you'll look at the scores at the end of a tournament there and it's like you know two under one under and now you look at a score here it's like 26 under it's like would we shoot like pretty well at this golf course compared to like when we do at glen oaks or beth paid black yes we would yes because yeah i want to say glen oaks i'm trying to find the leaderboard right now i want to say it was a pretty yeah DJ and spieth got in at 13 under into the playoff they're the only two guys that
Starting point is 00:18:44 We're double digits under pot. Right. Which on the PGA tour, I mean, I think Patrick Reed was 15 under when he won the Masters last year, right? So, like, now you're talking these guys are 26 under, won the golf tournament, 11 under from Kiz, didn't crack the, barely crack the top. And it's not even the top guys. Like, you look at this list like you were saying. I mean, you can look at the guy who finished in 40th and he was 14 under. It's stupid.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Right. Yeah, I do. I think that that's a good question. Like, I think for the average golfer, somewhere like Glen Oaks is just a really hard golf course. Somewhere like Beth Page Black is a really hard golf course. Somewhere like this desert classic spot. You look at the pictures, though, and it doesn't look that easy. There's water.
Starting point is 00:19:20 There's fucking mountains everywhere, and it's like this kind of weird snake-like fairways. I will say, I don't think the mountains are in play. I think they're just in the background. I'm really looking at that. I mean, you look, it's like, what are the hell of these little things? What are these animals? Those are goats. Those are goats.
Starting point is 00:19:34 I can't see it from here. Those are goats. Goats are native to this area. I don't know if they're native. What do they look like neither? I don't know. I wouldn't have been able to pin down this animal. It's definitely got goat-like features, though.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I'll give you that. So it's funny, like, I pulled up the Glen... You know how I gave that stat earlier about what Kiz shot at the Desert Classic? Well, I also pulled up a leaderboard from the Glen Oaks, like we're talking about, and I also have Kiz marked in, like, my little star area, and he was six over there. Sorry, Kiz.
Starting point is 00:20:05 Tough. 69, 72, 70, 75. 2007, Northern Trust. got to be better kids anyways yeah it's just an easier golf course i think and uh you know those are it's just it's tough for me to swallow that phil shot 12 under in the first round and then shot three more rounds in the 60s one of those being a 66 and didn't win the golf tournament i do like when courses are tougher than that uh but you do got to think if you're phil you walk away from that being like i should just be holding the trophy right now i don't understand why i didn't win
Starting point is 00:20:35 well when you've got whatever he's got 43 or something pGA tour wins i think he's probably feeling great. I did see that he has, I don't know if he said it to the media, he's, he's going for 50. That's what he, his goal is. Obviously, he wants to win more. So, so. Interesting. But you don't, when you let one like this go, it probably feels a little worse despite having 43 of them. Yeah, I think that's a good point. I, you know, Phil, the way he talks to the media is always kind of a glass half full. I really feel good about my game. I'm building a lot, this, that. He's a positive guy. He's a positive guy. So I think he'll take plenty of positives away from this. And, you know, a little part of him, they had the camera on him. He kind of said, wow, when Long made that
Starting point is 00:21:07 put to win the tournament yesterday. So, you know, a little bit of Phil. I like that competitiveness coming back. He's feeling it. Phil's feeling it. He won the Tiger match. Now here he is shooting a bazillion under out here. He also, like, the week, remember the week after the Ryder Cup when he was God
Starting point is 00:21:22 awful in the Ryder Cup? I remember the next week he just started the tournament on fire. So a little frustrating that Phil sucked dick in the Ryder Cup. And then all of a sudden, now he's playing great all over the place. Speaking of Ryder Cup, the guy that was on the Ryder Cup team, Tiger Woods, is back. this week. Tori Pines. Wow.
Starting point is 00:21:41 People may not realize this. The last time we saw Tiger Woods play an official PGA tour event, he was marching down the 18th hole. With an army. Like he's Forrest Gump running down the street, running down the highway with the whole country behind him. Yep. That's the last time we saw him playing an official PGA tour event.
Starting point is 00:21:58 He has played the Ryder Cup since them, where he was kind of dog shit. He played the match against Phil, where he looked pretty half-ass. And he played the Hero World Challenge where he did not look great. So those are also things to consider. However, fresh new year, Tigers made a bunch of comments about how, you know, he played too much last year, which he had to do to kind of get his status back to try to earn a spot on the Riter Cup team to get inside the top 50 and get into these certain tournaments and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:22:23 He wasn't into the WGCs. So he had to play like the Valispar and other tournaments like that. He played a lot last year. I think he's probably going to play a little bit less this year. He made many comments about how he wanted to get stronger in the offseason, build up his body. those kinds of things. So, Torrey Pines, he's won here eight times as a professional. Seven times he's won the Farmers Insurance, one U.S. Open 2008.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I did a whole podcast on that. You should go check it out. Also, our close personal friend, USGA, has an awesome video on their YouTube channel about that 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, so you can go check that out as well. But, boys, this is kind of when you, I always say that golf, golf, like, PGA tour golf season officially starting for me is a two-pronged approach. Okay. The first prong is Capulua.
Starting point is 00:23:07 Yep. When those guys are fucking on the mountains, we kind of talked about it. Like it's golf and the moon. The yardages aren't even real. Right. Like they're playing, they play that 680 yard par five, and they're just reaching it with irons and stuff, which if you do the math out on that, it doesn't even make sense. Love Capulua. That's kind of the first prong.
Starting point is 00:23:23 And then you go a couple weeks where you don't really care about the tournaments that much. You have the Sony Open and you have this desert classic, which then it just don't feel like huge tournaments. And then once Tiger plays again at Tori Pines is the second prong. Now, boom. Our stakes in the ground. Golf season has begun. Tiger is back. You get the PGA Tour live.
Starting point is 00:23:38 You can watch every one of his shots. He's going to be in the feature group. He's playing with Tony Fienow, I think, and Zander Schoffley are the two guys he's playing with. But Tiger's back, boys. Has he made any comments about how he feels? Has he said the words, like, I feel fresh or refreshed? Like, that's what I want to hear out of him. I want to feel like a cold tiger.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I don't want him to be hot and sweaty. I want Tiger stepping up. You don't want him changing shirts like he's going on? No, I just want like a refreshed Tiger Woods. I want Tiger, like, coming off the couch, like, you know, he just feels good. He hasn't been like grinding Like like does it does he feel good going into this year I bet he does
Starting point is 00:24:11 I like that I'm not as stressed not nearly as stressed I feel like this feels like business as usual I'm getting a little stress You are? Yeah because it was just a little like we had that That stretch where he played every single fucking week And it was like Tiger's gonna be on this week It was I knew that he was gonna be good
Starting point is 00:24:24 We knew he was gonna be competitive And now it's like All right it's been a while Since we've seen him back in the swing of things Like is he gonna be I just don't want to be stiff I don't want the word stiff And like I gotta get into the swing of things
Starting point is 00:24:34 I don't want to see that. I agree with you, Frankie. I haven't heard, like, we haven't heard fucking anything. No. He's basically been off the grid since about a week after I met him and interviewed him. Not a big deal. He went into hiding. He basically went into hiding after that.
Starting point is 00:24:49 But no, we really haven't seen anything from Tiger, so you're right. My guess is, so we're recording this on Monday. He'll do a presser either Tuesday or Wednesday, probably Tuesday at some point, answer some questions. I imagine we'll get a lot of those buzzwords, those keywords. I feel refreshed. I had a great offseason. and I'm really hoping to hear that. You do.
Starting point is 00:25:06 I know he didn't he mention he had like some small injury in, I don't know if it was like in a forearm or something. I can't remember. It was a very minor story. I probably blocked that out. Some little comment about that. So you're right. Hopefully he comes back.
Starting point is 00:25:17 He's completely refreshed. He's 100% all of those good things. He has won a bazillion times at this golf course. So coming off the win at Eastlake, coming off months of being able to refresh himself, get himself stronger, or do whatever he needs to do in the off season, and then come to a golf course where he's had as much
Starting point is 00:25:34 successes he had really anywhere in the world. He's won a bunch of times there as an amateur too. Kind of have high expectations. I mean, he had no game at this point last year, had no experience with his current new body and all that, and he finished like tied for 23rd or something like that, top 25, I know. So you've got to think a top 10, we're really hoping for top 10, at least, hoping that he looks really good, that he gives himself a chance to win so we could kind of pick some of that momentum up that maybe we lost after Eastlake and kind of be like, oh, that was just,
Starting point is 00:26:06 all that other exhibition stuff was BS. Now it's like real golf time and Tiger's Pack for 2019.
