Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, 4Play listeners, you can find us every Tuesday and Thursday on Apple Podcast, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. All right, 4Play, episode 16. This is Players Championship Week. Foreplay, as always, presented by Barstool Sports. Yep. It's Riggs and Trent. We're back.
Starting point is 00:00:32 We got a big episode. Big episode. Probably, I was thinking about this, probably a top 10 guy to get for me. I would say top five for me. Rally top five in all of golf. Yeah. David Farity. In the office, put him through the ringer.
Starting point is 00:00:50 We had him on the pod. We have about 30 minutes with him coming up later. I mean, the guy's telling stories. We talk about playing in the 1991 Ryder Cup War by the Shore. We talk about his fanny pack. Yeah. Talk about losing a trophy. He lost a trophy after winning the tournament because he went to a Led Zeppelin concert.
Starting point is 00:01:07 Yeah. We got a bunch of rapid fire. We asked how he found. about Phil's leather jacket. Phil's leather jacket, lemon lime gatorade the colors. Rob is really interested in that. Play catch, have a catch. Pretty much any barstall argument that has ever happened,
Starting point is 00:01:20 we asked David Farity about. So lots of good stuff from Farity. He was in the office for about an hour with his whole crew. Yeah. Pretty awesome moment. Pretty awesome day for us. He signed the wall. We got the barstall wall where all the people who come in, they sign it.
Starting point is 00:01:36 He said, blow me and then signed it Farity. Yep. He sure did. The best signature on the thing. thing now. Yep. Very solid. I, you know, I didn't expect that. No. I didn't think he was going to write Blow Me. Um, out of context, it seems like maybe he didn't like us, but he liked us a lot when you listen to the interview, but he just wrote Blow Me on the Wall. He did call us mediocre. He called us morons. He called us morons and stuff, but I mean, none of that's inaccurate.
Starting point is 00:01:59 But he was saying that, we'll hear the interview who he's saying, I'm a moron as well, so we're all feeling like we're in the same place. The moron boat. The moron boat. That was it. Uh, you know what else I liked about David Faradie? What's that? Was his facial hair. He's got great facial hair.
