To all the time and look at, you know, there's stuff that they post.
Some of it's like absolutely stupid, but some of it's actually quite amusing and funny.
Stuff like that is what we need to get people to or attract people to the game of golf.
Nice to be here, boys.
Congratulations on all that you're doing is as mediocre as it is.
These newer, younger, hipper platforms like Barstool Sports.
Tigers had the three back surgeries.
He's had one fusion.
We welcome in from Barstool Sports.
Riggs and Trent, guys, welcome to the show.
Four play presented by Barstool Sports.
Four play presented by Barstool Sports.
We are back.
Riggs is still, I'm here with Frankie.
Hello, how's it going?
And then we're joined by Riggs.
Riggs, how's it going?
Hey, guys, I'm at Charles Degal Airport.
Are you just about to go through security, right?
I am.
I just returned the rental car.
It was beautiful, I have to say.
We got a Mercedes-Benz, like I mentioned, and it was beautiful, gentlemen.
It was a very lovely experience.
All right, so you're about to hop on a plane here in an hour.
So we got to talk Rider Cup.
Tough weekend.
You were there, obviously.
USA got dominated the whole time, it seemed like.
It was an embarrassing week, to say the least.
We didn't put up our best performance.
Riggs was there firsthand to experience it.
He was on enemy soil.
He was there while the enemies were celebrating and popping champagne in his eyeball.
That's not a shout at your eyes.
I don't want to make this into that type of podcast today.
That just kind of rolled off the tongue.
I always dig myself into these holes.
But Riggs, how are you feeling after that weekend of being there, you know,
credentialed in the mix behind Tiger.
You were listening to Tiger Woods like prepare for Sundays, you know, match up in the Rider Cup.
You were just listening to him speak.
So just bring, like, what are you feeling right now at the airport, like, as you're coming home?
I mean, I'll be honest with you.
Overall, the whole week sucked.
It just sucks.
The whole thing sucked.
People were going to ask me, like, go, do you have fun in Paris with France fun?
Like, no, it wasn't fun at all.
It absolutely sucked every minute, every second after the first session on Friday.
Yep.
We were just losing the whole time.
We were just absolutely losing.
We're getting killed.
It never felt like we were close.
There was maybe like a half hour period on.
where people were pretty excited.
But even at that point, it was like we need every miracle that's ever happened to the history of golf to go our way.
We need like Phil Mickelson who literally can't even hit the golf ball in play or inbound to win a golf match.
We need Tiger to somehow like become alive because he's an asleep person and win his match against John Robb who's going crazy.
Speaking of John Robb, the Spanish media, they talk in the media center all the time.
There's always like no no cheering in the media center, no clapping in the media center, all that stuff.
the Spanish media, every time they cut to either Garcia or John Rob, the Spanish media went crazy.
They were like clapping and going nuts in the media center the whole time.
Everyone's like, where's that clapping coming from?
It's this little corner of the media center that's all the Spanish media going nuts for John Rob,
which to be honest with, you know, our kind of media is varsal sports media.
I loved it.
I was like, I wish that I was hanging out with the Spanish media because they absolutely dig this guy.
that's the only thing they cared about was John Rom and Sergio Garcia.
They didn't care about anything else the entire tournament.
They legitimately, after Rahm won, he was like the only guy that talked to media for a minute over at the little pop-up media stand.
And they all went over there and were giving them high fives and like patting them on the ass and stuff.
They were so pumped that he beat Tiger.
So that sucked.
That was like another thing that just sucked from the whole day.
I saw videos of that come out.
They would like pan to the left and that'd be these like three or four guys and they'd just be screaming like,
Vamos! Yeah, Vamos!
Vamos! Yes! It wasn't even
like a long cheer. It was just like a quick
like Vamana! Just going crazy.
Like punching the air and then they just go right back to typing.
Like they were just, it was like business.
Like they fucking did it. Let's get our punch in.
They almost like punched their computers and they went right back to just alerting the Spanish media.
Like this is what happened.
Dude, they almost got me going.
Like I almost started screaming Vamos every time I saw one of those guys making a puck.
They were so into it.
So that was crazy.
it was, but it sucked.
I mean, overall, the whole thing, it just sucked.
Every minute was just sad.
I mean, it was just sad minute after sad minute.
Every time I thought that we were going to turn it around,
every time I thought this is around where Tiger is going to go crazy
and he's going to get over his funk and he's going to be the Tiger that wanted Eastlake last week.
He just wasn't.
He just looked literally like a corpse the entire time.
You should have seen him.
I mean, I'm sure you did see some of them in the press conference yesterday,
but being there in person, I mean, he literally looked like he was asleep
or dead.
Like somebody had sucked the blood out of his body and he was just a corpse that they had
propped up during the press conference who appear like an alive person and he was just dead.
So it was not, I will say people are spreading rumors left and right, like Tiger is injured.
As someone who stood five feet away from him during his entire warm up session on Sunday
and during his entire warm up session on Friday, he is not injured.
He's completely healthy and fine.
He just literally looks like the most tired person.
I've ever seen in my entire life.
He walked on the range on Sunday,
and when he walked on to the range,
he had Slim Shady playing out of his iPhone,
but, like, he didn't have headphones in,
and he didn't have, like, a cool speaker with good sound.
He literally was just playing it out of his iPhone in his pocket
while he was hitting balls.
It was one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.
It's like either put headphones in or do something
where you have, like, good, legitimate sound,
and you're in your own world.
2018 Tiger, there's like, there's like ear pods and wireless headphones, all kinds of cool
stuff he could do.
He's just listening to music out of his iPhone in his pocket out loud, which was crazy
to me.
That's a tiger move, though.
Tiger always, like, shocks people with the things he does off the golf course.
That's just, that's another tiger move that does not.
He like doesn't know how to, he doesn't know how to behave in that atmosphere.
No.
No.
Like, he would have needed Nike or so, like, one of his sponsors to, like, bring him something,
like some sort of surround speaker, but like, if you leave it to him, he's just going to, like, go on,
he's going to go on YouTube and type in, like, hype up music.
He's going to be, yeah, he's just going to keep it in his pocket.
100% hype up music is in his search history.
He's like, well, I have a phone.
It has, it plays sound.
All right, I'll just go to YouTube and play music.
Like, he needs, like Frankie's saying, he needs someone to direct him where to go.
I'm looking at this picture on Tiger Tracker's Twitter.
Look at that picture.
And it's what you're saying, Riggs.
He looks like.
I mean, it looks like a little weekend at Lake Golf National action we have.
It's almost like he literally is dead.
There is nothing behind those eyes, not a single bit of life.
So, yeah, he's had a rough stretch.
He's got nothing going on, which, again, if you really think about all that goes into what he has to do to be able to play golf now from the workouts,
I know he works out, like every day works out before basically every round of golf, it sounds like.
All the rehab he probably still has to do to keep his back as flexible and as loose as it can possibly be,
mixed in with all of the golf, all of the grinding on his golf game because he had to find a new
golf swing and a new game so that he could actually win tournaments.
And then the fact that he played, I think he said seven of the last nine weeks, if you include
the British Open, the WGC, the PGA, and then all the playoff event, then he wins at Eastlake,
all that that was and how emotional and crazy that was on Sunday.
Then they fly to Europe.
The guy's like 42 is going to be 43 and two months.
They fly to Europe.
And then next thing you know, Friday morning, it's like 50 degrees outside, 45 degrees outside.
And tigers all of a sudden got to play in the morning.
So I get that other guys had to do the same thing.
But our boy's been through like 30 lifetimes of public humiliation.
He's been through 10 lifetimes of new bodies and surgeries and all kinds of BS.
He's been through like five lifetimes of golf dominance and victories and all that type of stuff.
and then you take him through all that.
He literally just looked like a dead person,
and he needs to rest more than anyone's ever needed to rest in the history of resting, I think.
True.
So on a more general level, general Team USA level,
what do we think happen and why do we think it happened?
Because on this very podcast, we talked about it.
We had Brattle Chambleon who talked about it.
This was supposed to be the best Team USA ever seen on paper,
and then it just, we got fucking blown out of the water.
Why do we think these types of things happened over the weekend?
because people are searching for answers.
Yeah, there's a lot of searching going on.
There's a lot of second-guessing going on.
I will say that I had no, I was,
I underestimated all that Brandel was telling us
and all the people were speaking leading up to this
about the golf course and how demanding it was going to be off the tee.
I underestimated that.
I mean, we literally could not have been built worse for this golf course.
Brandl, again, has been preaching about that
for months now leading up to this.
you legitimately cannot play the golf course from the rough.
Everybody saw that, everybody was watching that,
but I don't think people fully understand.
Like in the U.S.
are courses that they play on tour for the most part
that do have bad rough,
those guys, you still see them like chop it up
to the front of the green or even hack it on to where it lands
on the front of the green and rolls into the middle of the green
and they can have two-putt pars,
even make a 30- or 40-foot bomb for birdie from time to time.
And it's not that big of a deal when you miss fairways.
And then when you do hit fairways,
they can just make birdie after birdie, and it's not a big deal.
This course was so unbelievably brutal if you miss fairways.
And our team, when you go through, like, the average, we are average driving distance,
I'm sorry, our average driving accuracy is like, was somewhere in like the 130s or 140s
out of 173 people or something this year.
And the euros are like average, like something like that.
So they clearly are way more accurate off the tee.
and we just on every match, it was like we missed a fairway or two early on,
and then we get one or two down,
and then we miss a couple more fairways than they do the rest of the way out.
We just don't give ourselves enough birdie looks,
and we lost every match on like the 16th or 15th hole it felt like,
and we could never get over that.
So I think that was a huge factor,
and then we've got all this stuff coming out about speed,
where the best team that, like, we've ever had,
that's like the future of our Rider Cup squads.
and apparently if Jim Fierich and Jordan Speeth are going out there in the press conference being like,
yeah, no, everybody was in on every decision.
This was totally the best thing for the team.
And then we got Patrick Reed who's going off with New York Times reporters afterwards an hour later,
being like, oh, no, no, no.
Jordan Spee didn't want to play with me.
Jordan Spee doesn't like me.
And therefore, that's why this team got split up.
That's like a whole other wrench is being thrown into the whole thing.
So we've got some serious fucking problems.
It's basically what happened.
Yeah, Patrick Reed even said in that New York Times article,
He was like during the press conference where Jim Furek and Speeth were like, no, things are good, things of this and that.
He was in Patrick Reed's head.
He said he was going to do what Phil did in 2014 and just start throwing people under the bus, which would have made for an electric press conference.
But yeah, it does seem there's way more going on behind the scenes than we realize between Patrick Reed and Jordan Spee.
It is so devastating that he didn't do that.
I mean, that would have been awesome.
The fact that he didn't do that is shocking.
as someone that was in that press conference,
I was sitting right behind your boy, Zach Johnson.
Nice.
And Cooch were the two guys that were right in front of me.
Cooch is like so stupidly tall, by the way,
that I couldn't see anything.
His big head was right in my way.
But anyways, I was sitting right there
and I was looking at Reed because that was this whole thing
was festering.
There was all the stories that were breaking yesterday
during the coverage from his wife
and his wife on Twitter,
and she has like two different Twitter accounts.
So was that actually her?
And then a couple of the golf.com guys
who we've gotten to know from just going to the events right on the bus with them and whatnot.
The guys that we sat down with at the U.S. Open Trent Daddy.
Yep.
They were like breaking, kind of like trying to break the news of the Justine Reed Twitter account.
And so they went up and interviewed her and asked her if that was her.
And she gave some weird like, oh, I can't say for sure if that's me comment of her just railroading like Furek,
Speet, saying that Speet didn't want to play with Patrick Reed,
despite the fact that they've had so much success and all this stuff.
So that was all festering.
Meanwhile, this press conference is going on.
And I was looking at Reed.
And Reed, he legitimately was biting his lip.
Like, I don't mean biting his lit metaphorically.
Like, he was sitting there biting his lit with his teeth.
And I couldn't believe it.
And then at the end of the press conference, the last question that was asked was all about the Reed speech thing.
And somebody even, they didn't say it directly.
but you could tell that in their question
they framed it in a way that kind of
brought in the whole rumors from
the wife's comments and all that
and then as soon as
Speed and Reed looked at each other
awkwardly a couple times about like
oh shit what are we going to do
and then speech started talking gave a very political
answer and then Jim Furrick took over
and everybody in the music center were like looking at
Reed and Reed didn't say
a word and we're like what the hell is going on and then they
ended the press conference they just ended it after like
25 minutes, which all the other media people were stunned.
And they were like, dude, these usually go like an hour.
And they were all talking about how cool it was and crazy it was in 2014 when Phil did
his whole thing.
And then they just kind of abruptly ended the press conference.
So it was this weird fucking thing going on.
And then the Reed comments come out.
So there must be a lot more going on with all that.
And it's crazy that, like, if Reed, if Reed didn't play with Speefe because of
Speed, and then they just like threw him with Tiger Woods.
Is that how it really went?
Which that's fucking crazy.
So I don't know what's going on.
Here's his Reed's comments in the New York Times.
He said,
the issue is obviously with Jordan not willing to play with me.
I don't have any issue with Jordan.
When it comes down to it,
I don't care if I like the person I'm paired with
or if the person likes me as long as it works
and it sets up for team success.
He and I know how to make each other better.
We know how to get the job done.
So it's, there's a fire brewing, right?
There's something there.
And I think Patrick Reed's showing, I know, who he is.
And I think I've been on this for a long time.
Everyone couldn't see through the Captain America bullshit.
And he had his great rider cups.
But he's just an asshole.
And we've known this.
And like his wife's a crazy.
Everybody knows that.
His wife's like a crazy person.
And now you're seeing that like speed like doesn't want to play with them.
And he doesn't like want to say these things.
And no one wants to like be with this guy.
No one wants to like celebrate and like fist bump and high five when they play well.
But let me.
Speed like they probably would have paired pretty well together.
But that's what I'm saying.
That's kind of what I'm saying.
So if you read into what Reed is saying, he's saying that he's saying that he knows.
speed doesn't like him and maybe they knew that in
2016 but they still played together
and Reed literally can almost literally
carried Spief during that tournament
so I'm almost I almost
want to be on Reed side being like yeah okay you guys don't
like each other that's fine maybe put your
bullshit aside and let's try and win a fucking
rider cup for the USA but we don't know what the bullshit
is the bullshit's probably the bullshit has got
to be that he just reads an asshole like we've
seen him be an asshole that they're just
not playing together in the Rider Cup like they're
they're forfeiting chances to have
better match us because of how much of an asshole he is.
Who knows what's going on, like, on the plane and shit?
Doesn't that, go ahead.
Doesn't that, like, I'm with Trent?
Doesn't that make, how do you disagree with any of Patrick Reed's comments if what he's
saying is true?
He's 100% right.
He's like, look, I don't care if Jordan Speat doesn't want to play with me.
I don't like him either.
Any of that, he doesn't have to like me.
But if that's the best thing for winning Ryder Cup matches, who gives a fuck?
We're going to go out there win Ryder Cup matches.
Like me, as a USA fan, I don't care of George.
and Speed is like, oh, I'd rather high-five somebody else after a big shot.
I don't give a fuck about any of that.
You know what I care about?
Winning Ryder Cup matches.
So if that's what you've got to do, suck it up and win a rider-cup match.
So if Patrick Reed, what he's saying is true, then he's 100% right.
And I guarantee that since JT is on this Rider Cup team, Speed is like, oh, if I get spared
up with Justin Thomas instead of Reed, people will be like, oh, they've been buddies forever,
nobody will think anything of it when, yeah, it's probably that Speed doesn't like Reed.
But that would be so interesting if we kind of knew that they didn't like each other,
they were also still, like, kicking in the heads of the Europeans.
I think it's way better everywhere around.
I know that Reed's going to come off badly because, oh, he's the asshole, and he's got this
reputation, and his wife's kind of a crazy person, too.
But flying off the handle.
I want to win.
I want to win Rider Cups.
And it sounds like Patrick, Captain America, Reed, wants to win Rider Cups.
I don't know if Jordan Speeth wants to win Rider Cups.
Yeah, let's not say that his wife is kind of a crazy person.
I mean, she is a full-on psychopath.
You could just look at the.
pictures of her from like when they were at the palace of versa.
Her picture that came out, the close-ups of her.
Like she just looks like she is conniving nonstop to get shit done the way that she wants
it to be done.
And now she's out there on Twitter.
She had like when I started following her yesterday, this account had like 19 followers.
And the only thing she did was respond to golf Twitter tweets.
She didn't have a single tweet that stands alone.
Like she never just tweets out to the.
the world, her thoughts. She only exists on Twitter on that account to just get in the muck with
people and just chirp people and like fire missiles of people. That's all she does. So she is a
full on psychopath. So you got that going on on the sidelines, which is like apparently from all the
stories about how she's the reason that Patrick Reed literally doesn't even talk to his family anymore.
Like she's not just on the sidelines. She's like, she's like half of Patrick Reed.
You've got...
All of these pictures...
All of these pictures,
if you type in just Patrick Reed's wife,
like every tournament he's ever won,
she's holding the trophy.
She's literally caddying for him at the Masters.
Like...
Yeah.
She's just involved in everything he does.
He can't get away.
And I think that she owns his brain.
I think they sit at home.
Oh, yeah.
He sits at the dinner table,
and she dissects his brain like it's an episode of Westworld.
She takes it out,
and she puts it into a little computer,
and she, like, puts in her diagnostic
of like what she wants him to do today.
And this week happened to be like,
she wanted just turmoil amongst the teams.
She's like, what's the Tal Dagan
Nights, that dinner scene?
Where she's like, I'm a winner. I want to win.
You get out there and he's like, that's what she is to him.
She like, she is like, how much you've been practiced?
You're not practicing enough. What's going on?
Something's going on between those two.
But I mean, Patrick reads the type of guy, too, that comes home,
sit to the dinner table and just complains about everyone, right?
Like, Jordan won't play with me, and he doesn't like me.
Like, I just think it's a very,
is there someone getting, like, murdered in the background?
Riggs, I mean, there's, there are noises that are coming through that phone that actually
sound alarming.
Yeah, they did, actually.
Look, I'm at an airport, I'm at a big airport.
That just shit happens at airport.
You get people on the loudspeaker, you get kids yelling and screaming.
Do they speak English on the last speaker?
I'm like screaming around.
At the tournament they did, but here, no, they're pretty French here.
They were embarrassed.
Have you ever looked at a photo of yourself from five years ago and thought, damn, I
looked young?
What happened to that guy?
Where did these wrinkles come from?
When did I start looking like my dad?
Have you ever looked at a picture and said that?
I can't say that because my dad has an unreal, like, mustache and he looks a little bit different than me.
But I can see where you would say that because I've seen it.
Yeah, no, your dad is a good-looking guy.
I'm heading in the wrong direction.
I'm heading in the wrong direction.

I just want to add one more comment from Reid from the New York Times article where on Jim Furek,
he says, for somebody as successful in the Ryder Cup as I am,
I don't think it's smart to sit me twice.
Listen, I know that Reed's going to get dragged through a fucking mud here.
People are going to say that he's the piece of shit, that he's this and that.
I'm fully team.
Patrick Reid on this entire issue.
I just want that to be clear.
I mean, it's tough, right?
It's tough because we all know he's an asshole.
We all know he's incredibly unlikable.
He and Justine might be like the least likable duo in the history of golf duos,
which kind of makes them, like, since there are American unlikable duo,
it kind of makes them likable in a certain way that they're like this crazy,
psychotic duo that throwing people under the bus.
a villain couple in like a in a disney
Pixar movie they like wear
the same like outfits they wear tight pants
they walk out of their layer and they just
Frankie
give me a favor too while we're talking
pull up uh look up the outfit that she was wearing
when she greeted reed on the 18th green at the
masters where he won the masters and I'm talking
I mean if that doesn't scream everything about her
personality personified in one outfit
in one moment in like your
couple's lifetime
that'll be the greatest moment of your entire
life. She is just
she looks like
when
girls try and like dress up for skiing and they try and
wear as much vibrant clothes as you can possibly
wear she's wearing a pink
like ski vest
and these like ridiculously
vibrant just leggings
and a green shirt
I mean
the people of Augusta National must have been beside them
Oh, yeah.
This is what their winner is, like, he's wearing, like, the green jacket,
and she's just standing there looking like she wants to go down the slopes, like, for an Instagram picture.
I'm all in, man.
We always talk about, we talked about cookie cutter guys a couple weeks ago.
We don't want cookie cutters.
We, you know, Riggs is now madly in love with Bryson D. Shambo because he's got a calculator and shit.
And, you know, Patrick Reed and Justin Reed are two of the more interesting people that we have involved on the PJ tour.
Yes.
He is an asshole, though, but that's beside the point.
Again, I mean, they're making it interesting.
I have to give him credit for that.
And also, I mean, it leads, it kind of adds some credibility to the whole thing,
that he's a master's champ that, like, what he is saying about his Ryder Cup record and all that is true.
Like, he has dominated at the Ryder Cup before.
And then he won his singles match yesterday.
So it's kind of this, all this wild stuff going on.
Meanwhile, the other end of the whole drama is that Speed had a great Ryder Cup with JT.
And like when our whole team was getting killed, him and JT were winning matches.
They were coming in kind of the last match or the session.
And all of a sudden, like that might be the savior.
They might kind of be like what Polter was in 2012 when on Saturday the Euros were getting killed.
He kind of kept it, you know, positive and built momentum and all that is kind of what he and JT were doing.
So that's also going on.
And then you have the comments, like I said, from the president where Furik and Spieff basically acted like,
oh, that's just not even true at all.
And then Reed comes out of the clouds being like, that's absolutely true.
And then Reed is playing.
Meanwhile, like another wriggles, he's just playing with Tiger the whole time.
So how it's almost like they took the like redheaded stepchild that nobody wanted to be friends with
and put them with the greatest player of all time who's just coming off the biggest win,
regular PGA tour win in the history of the PGA tour with people celebrating like it was our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ coming up the 18th Fairway.
and they're just putting Patrick Reed, who apparently everybody hates with Tiger Woods.
It's just like, what is going on here?
It's like nobody knew what the hell they were doing with our team.
And that showed because we have the best team ever assembled on paper,
and we got absolutely destroyed in Europe.
Well, that also kind of leads to Jim Furrick.
A lot of people are shitting on Jim Furik because they're throwing up the stat lines of the captain's picks,
where the USA captain's pick, captains' picks went two and ten,
and Europe's went nine, four, and one.
So Jimmy Furic is catching a whole lot of fury.
today for sure.
That was nice,
trap.
Jim,
Furet, Catching Fury.
That was pretty good.
You, I mean, you did that on purpose.
No, I did not.
It just happened.
Really?
Wow.
No, it, I mean, you nailed that.
That was good.
Look, it's true.
Everything about that is 100% true,
and it does,
it stinks of this horrible vibe
of the old,
terrible U.S.
Rider Cup kind of
squad.
crew of we got Jim
Furek who's got a horrible
Rider Cup record who's the captain
of the team we got his two
captain's picks who were like
these the the
task force kind of like masterminds
in Phil and Tiger
who are their best buddies have
horrible Rider Cup records for how good that
their careers are and meanwhile
that that like triumphant is
running the whole rider cup team
and we went from this awesome like
fresh new blue
blood look in 2016 where we won we won on home soil we're going to win for the next decade or
two decades going forward this is great to all of a sudden we threw it back to the old guard of the
jim phuric and and phil and tiger and then we just got absolutely dusted tiger looked like
he didn't even want to be there it was just a disaster and it's something that it's like are we did we
take did we step 20 years back after winning one rider called like how the fuck did that
happened. So the whole thing sucks. It was a shitty rider cup. I don't know what to make of all that.
I don't know if the captain's picks sucked. Like with a captain's pick, terrible picks because I don't
think anybody really thought they were beforehand. I do think that it's becoming clear that Phil was
a pretty horrible pick, considering he played literally one round and was god awful. They were seven
down through nine holes. But then he sat him until he couldn't sit him anymore, which is in singles.
and then he lost the Rider Cup officially by hitting the ball in the water and shaking hands on the T-box
because the whole thing is so astronomically bad that I'm just I'm in shambles.
My brain doesn't even work.
I can't figure out what happened.
People were yelling at each other and hating.
We've got New York Times, by the way.
Not only is their feud so bad for the golf world, but like we're talking about there's a new report in the New York Times who caught up with Patrick Reed about this whole thing.
Like we got the Kavanaugh situation is all going down in the New York Times.
It's like, oh, did you hear about the feud between Patrick Reed and Jordan's Beat?
It's crazy.
So, Riggs, we're getting into, you know, how bad of a performance it was.
I want to go back to Friday a little bit as a viewer from the United States.
I want to see what your viewing experience was compared to what ours was, right?
Like we talked about it leading up to the Riot of Cup.
We'd have to wake up at 2 a.m. and it would be a grind, right?
Like we were all going to have to wake up and be really tired and try and get ourselves into it.
But it is a Rider Cup, so we'll all be fucking juiced up.
Now, I woke up, ready in time for the Rider Cup.
I was up.
I was ready to go.
I had coffee.
I was eating my breakfast at 2 o'clock in the morning.
I was ready to go.
Riggs, I'm sure you saw it on Twitter.
What the coverage, the debacle in the coverage was actually laugh out loud funny on how badly they treated us, the people, the good American people that were waking up at 2 o'clock in the
morning to watch this golf coverage.
When I tell you that they were, Tiger Woods teed off, he hit his shot, they went to four
commercials, they showed him putt, they went to four commercials, and then they just went back
to like the next hole and they went to four commercials.
I was actually setting alarms for every three minutes because every time they'd go to a commercial,
I'd go back to sleep.
So I was, I was like viciously on my phone, like, how am I going to plan this out?
Because I know this shot's only going to last 25 seconds.
and then we're going to watch another commercial about this goddamn car,
and then I'm going to fall asleep.
The commercials went on forever, for eternity.
It honestly felt as though we watched more commercials in the first hour than we saw golf shots,
which I think statistically we did.
So for you being there, like, was it, I mean, that's obviously the first time
that you've been able to experience something like that.
How is, like, how is watching the Ryder Cup when you're there?
Like, there's only a certain amount of matches going on in that beginning round on Friday.
So, like, are you guys, is everyone, like, following Tigers,
Tigers group?
Does the whole entire course evolve around like four holes?
Like how does that work?
That's a good question.
First of all, I want to say that the frustration about golf channels coverage was reverberating through the golf course immediately.
Like everybody knew that you guys had a horrific experience and people were talking about it.
I saw it on Twitter.
And then like the golf media people that I was with were like,
It sounds like people came and watched the goddamn tournament from Golf Channel.
It sounds like people were pissed off.
They got up at 2 a.m.
And they literally can't watch golf, which is exactly what happened to you.
I think, Frankie, you tweeted out that that had to be the worst coverage of any event
in the history of events or something like that.
Dude, I was setting alarms to wake myself up because I was just so tired.
They didn't allow you to get into it, right?
So, like, there would be a great shot.
And then they just watched four minutes of commercials.
I'm like, what the fuck's even happening?
I think an hour and a half went by when we didn't even.
see the Dustin Johnson
Ricky Fowler group.
They just didn't show
Rory Macquarie and Dustin Johnson.
Like, finally they were on the eighth hole.
Like, what?
Like, these guys were even...
That's the problem that sometimes people get
with Tiger, right?
They'll just show Tiger.
And Tiger wasn't playing that well, right?
He lost the first hole.
They got it back on the second.
And then, like, it was just like a back and forth.
He wasn't...
They just weren't playing that well.
And then they just kept showing them
in between commercials.
So, yeah, it was the worst...
I thought it was the worst coverage sport
or even event in the history of television.
Yeah, in the history of television.
I honestly think that.
Ever get that creeping feeling of dread and anxiety as Sunday comes to a close and you face the looming countdown clock for the work week?
Yes, I do.
I felt that yesterday after the Ryder Cup, I mean, you watch the Ryder Cup all weekend and then Sunday night hits.
It's like, holy shit.
Two things.
We got crushing the Router Cup, so it's like that wasn't a great week.
And two, people think that this job is stress-free.
Folks, that's the opposite.
It's the opposite.
I have an unbelievably stressful week coming up.
I'm like traveling all over the country.
Yeah, you got Rough and Rowdy.
I got to be in Lexington Conco.
blah, blah, blah.
Go on.
My brain just looks.
That's fine.
My brain just stopped.
That's fine.

So, honestly, that
sounds awful. Like, I'm
pissed hearing that
because people were saying the same
thing on Twitter, and this
is, the Ryder Cup is the
best spectating event
start to finish of
all events in all of golf, and it's not
even close, in that you get the
same energy on Friday morning,
and it's the same intensity, and it feels like the same
importance that you get on Sunday
afternoon, and no other tournament has any
like that. So we like Golf Channel. Golf Channel has been great to us. We are on
Golf Channel. We've had a bunch of Golf Channel guests on. That is dog shit and they deserve
complete shame, complete and total shame, Golf Channel you deserve for how bad the coverage was.
And I got a little bit of a taste of it because viewing it at the scene and all of that,
first of all, the credentialed experience and the access that you have at the Ryder Cup
versus the other majors is laughable. Like even Tiger's
Tracker was tweeting out that the access that he has sucks so that he might have to watch a lot of the tournament in the media center.
And so that's what we had to do for a lot of the time.
Now, luckily for us, at our media center, we had our own little booth thing.
As far away as we were, in our own little booth, we had our own little TV.
And we could turn it on to they had like five or six different feeds.
They had like the French feed, the golf channel, NBC, and then they had Sky Sports, which we watched Sky Sports the whole time.
and their coverage is phenomenal.
Like, phenomenal.
They have Butch Harmon on who's obviously swing coach for a bunch of guys.
And he is somehow like a better version of Johnny Miller.
And he just chirps the shit out of guys.
And but he's also, he's way more friendly and all that than Johnny Miller is in general.
So the Sky Sports coverage is what we watched basically the entire time.
And it was fantastic.
But it does piss me off to know that, like, you guys had no other way.
to watch it other than to just watch commercials the whole time, which is outrageous.
Like all this hype and how built up it is over the course of two years, all you want to do
for the first two hours is see every single golf shot, every single shot.
You want to understand where every match is at.
You want to see how guys' nerves levels are.
You want to see how the crowds are reacting and all that.
The beauty of being there on site is that it is, it's very tough to see golf if you're not
proactive because for the first two days, the entire crowd is around basically like six holes,
I would call it, six or seven holes, because even though there's only four matches going on
on four different holes, everybody jumps ahead to try to get there. And then if you post up,
you can post up for an hour and a half and you can see every group come through. And it's
very exciting and it's a good doing experience. So for like six or seven holes, there's a ton of
people. And then the rest of the golf course, there's literally zero people. So it is,
It is crazy packed and it is a little bit annoying and that you can't quite see the golf.
However, this course was so perfectly built for this tournament that it's the stadium, it mounds everywhere, built up around the holes.
So you pretty much could always see the golf.
And it was such an intimidating, stunning scene on basically every hole that there was golf being played on.
Because when you go to the S Open, you go to the PGA or go to a regular tour event, like the guys that are in the,
non-markey groups, there might be like seven people watching them on the entire hole.
Every single group that was on the golf course that was playing golf, there were like
20,000 people around the hole.
So no matter who it was, like it didn't matter.
If it's Norton against Deschambeau, every hole that they came to, it looked like the
conclusion of the masters or it looked like the 18th hole at Chinatoc on every single hole.
And the crowds were crazy.
Like they were so loud and they are so incredibly one-sided that I have to concede that it does affect the outcome of the event.
I think Brandel told us that historically there's like a 2.7 point home field advantage.
Some of that goes to the course setup.
But some of that has to go to the fact that every decent shot that the Europeans hit, again, it sounds like they just hold out or got a whole and one on the 16th at Augusta.
and every good shot of the Americans hit, it's just dead silence or it's like a few groans
and then silence.
And when you get that over, you know, 36 holes a day for two days and then big time,
intense singles matches on Sunday, that adds up to like your excitement factor and your
adrenaline factor and your positivity and all the things that you feel and the roars.
Like the Sunday singles, when somebody made a big birdie or something like that four holes over,
you could hear it everywhere when it was a European
and when it was an American,
you had no clue because they don't make any noise
when the Americans do anything good.
So like that stuff factors in big time over the whole term.
Yeah, and you've also got people cheering,
like when Americans miss a putt,
you got people cheering in your face.
Yeah, Tiger missed it and the whole place went crazy.
Like, that's got to be fucking crazy.
But I guess this goes back to how bad the coverage was on Friday
because I think they didn't get,
it got better towards the end of the weekend,
but they didn't have a feel for how they were going to pump in the noise.
I honestly thought on Friday morning,
I was like, this crowd sucks.
There was thousands of people behind the first team, and you just couldn't hear them on the screen.
So, like, Justin Rose on the first approach shot, he hits it to, like, three feet, right?
And, like, there was no noise.
I was like, are these people even watching this?
It's the first approach shot for their team.
And you just didn't hear it.
You didn't get that feel.
They just didn't capture, like, how insane it must have been to be there.
I feel like the last time we watched the Rider Cup, every single shot.
It was so loud, you couldn't even hear the announcers.
It was like, oh, my God, this is the fucking Rider Cup.
Like this time it was weird.
It was like they were turning off the mics and then they were turning them on to get the reaction.
So sometimes it would be loud or sometimes it would be delayed.
It was very strange.
But, I mean, I can go on and on about how bad the coverage was.
Can I let me ask you something, Frankie.
Do you think that Francesco Molinari listened to this podcast last week or earlier in the week and just like shoved it right down your throat by going five and oh?
Francesco Molinari, I told you this last time on the last podcast.
I think I didn't like him when he was beating Tiger right at the open.
I think I was a very anti-Francca Mulanari guy.
Yep.
I'm all in on Francesca Mollinarri.
Okay.
I think he is hilarious.
I think the way he smiles makes me laugh out loud.
The way he smiles makes me laugh every single time.
Him being paired with Tommy Fleetwood was funny because Fleetwood is this, he's this crazy guy.
He's got long hair and he's all over the place.
And so they would do these post-round interviews with the two of them where Tommy's like,
oh, this and that.
I loved all this, this and that.
And the guy would go to, the interview would go to Francesco Molnar,
and he would just have his arms crossed, and he would just smile.
It was so funny.
He's like this well-built small Italian.
He's like a little tiny guy, but he's like, he's like a little round ball.
And he just is so good.
He's nails.
He doesn't miss putts.
He doesn't miss greens.
I mean, the one time he fucking messed up, he hit it into the water.
Like he, like, basically just made Bryson hit it into the water.
Like, every, like, every, like, every,
Everything he does is perfect.
Like the one time he messed up all weekend, he just forced the guy he was playing against to just do the same thing.
Like Francesca Molanari has some sort of like aura around him.
I swear to God, I think people just don't expect him to be the golfer he is.
Like I'm saying, he's like that Italian waiter.
He's the limo driver.
He's like my cousin.
He's my guy that I'll see at like Easter and we'll be eating fish.
And then he goes on to the golf course and he stuns people.
Every time he makes a putt, I laugh out loud.
I just cannot believe that Francesca Mollari is this good of a golf.
He just won the British Open and then he just fucking crushed the rider.
He could be the best golfer in the world right now.
He might be, honestly.
Briggs, would you say that Francesca Mollinar is playing the best golf in the world right now?
Look, I don't know, but I do know that he is one of the unintentionally funniest people I've ever witnessed in my entire life.
Like, the way that he walks after he makes a putt and like the way that he waves to the crowd is insane.
Like, it's just such a stupid, dumb, like emotionless, but also like, like, you.
he's almost like all business Pete in a way.
Yeah, I get that.
Just all of his little mannerisms and all that are just so stupid that you have to laugh.
He looks like he just doesn't give a shit about anything.
And then like you said, like comparing him, juxtapositioning him up there against Tommy Fleetwood
and all this craziness and how big of a star.
Like that guy is a legitimate rock star.
And then he's standing there next to Monari and they pan to the limo driver that is like
Molari.
and he just kind of like smirks at the camera and it's like, oh, yeah, I'm 5 and O.
And it's just amazing.
So I don't know how you don't like those guys.
I completely agree.
Tommy Fleetwood is a serious problem going forward.
I mean, that guy has a problem.
Everything about him is a problem.
I wrote it in the blog that I published about the Ryder Cup today.
But like, not only is he stealing our rider cup points, he's going to steal our women, our children, like our company.
He's a force.
He's a force to be reckoned with.
He's a star.
There's like, it's almost like if you met him at a bar or something like that, you would just have to let your girlfriend fuck him.
Like, you wouldn't even be upset about him.
Yeah, no, that's Tommy Fleawood.
Tommy Fleawood gives me European soccer player vibes where it's like he's, when he was celebrating yesterday, most guys, you know, they pump their fists and they're clapping their hands.
He was like in this crouched position where I was just like, that guy fucks.
Yeah.
And shout out to our guys, Spitting Chicklets, Barstle podcast.
And they'll always talk about a guy being like a man rocket in the NHL.
and how everything just happened.
Like, Henrik Lunkwis just happens to be the best-looking guy.
He's the goalie of his country.
He's, like, the captain of all the teams he's ever been on.
And he happens to have, like, a huge dick.
And he just, like, he just fucks.
Like, Tommy Fleetwood has the whole package.
He's probably got a wrench.
The guy just...
Tommy Fleetwood has a huge dick.
The guy, the guy just, he's just nails.
He has probably the best...
He has the best flowing hair out of a golf hat I've ever seen in my entire life.
It looks as though the hat just came with the hair, right?
Like, it almost looks fake.
Like, I just want to pull on it and be like,
all right, you just, like, you caught us all.
But then he takes it off.
And it's like a fucking wave out of, like, out of Hawaii.
I feel like I want to, like, I want to get pitted in it.
We talked about how Tiger looked like Jesus walking up 18 at Eastlake last week.
When the Europeans, they put Tommy Fleetwood on their shoulders and carried him around the golf course.
It literally looked like Jesus was at, was in Paris.
And this sucks, right?
We're basically sucking their dicks right now, like Europe.
We're talking about how fucking awesome it was.
And all of our listeners are like, this fucking sucks.
We got our, we got our dick stopped.
We got so demolished this week that we can't even talk about the U.S.
I mean, we have talked about how disgusting it was, but the Europeans just dominated us.
They deserve all the credit.
They came, they showed up, they had all these rookies.
Thomas Bjorn looked like one of those, Thomas Bjorn standing there with, like, his outfit and his scarf.
I don't even know if that was a scarf.
I looked like attached to his jacket.
He looked like the leader of like the X-Men or some shit.
He was just like looking over his people just dominate and like just take over country.
He was like his arms are crossed.
He just looked like such a badass motherfucker and he's just like keep going boys.
Like he's just just sprits in them out there and they're just like it's like what we show what we said about Tiger Woods.
When our Tiger Woods now is going to be in that visualization of a map where he's just going to start taking over this country like in Game of Thrones.
That's exactly what the Radica was.
He just sent out his fleets or Tommy Fleetwood.
See how I did that?
Whoa.
Yeah.
He said that his fleets and they just took over the fucking map.
So I'm done on that one.
I'm signing off after that little fleet thing.
Man, it's true.
It's just we can't help but talk about it.
They deserved it.
They just frowned us.
They stomped on us.
I legitimately can't even sleep at night because I just walk around like,
Tommy, Tommy Fleetwood, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And then like, there's you all.
And all their fucking chants.
There was a clip where, there was a clip where,
there was a clip of Rory standing in one of the stadiums,
and they were just chanting.
Rory very slowly and it was, I know I'm a Morari guy, but it was fucking unbelievable.
It was, well, they do the, they do the, they do the, they do the things above their hands, they clap.
Yep, it's, biking shit.
It's something to see, man.
And then even, I think it just came out, did it come out yesterday or today I saw it on Instagram, but Tommy Fleetwood and, um, uh, Francesne Mo and R is just like in the bed talking about sex.
You want to talk about fucking, like, Tommy Fleetwood just fucks everything, right?
He probably does it.
Oh, yeah.
He's whatever walks.
It's like, who is the guy from Game of Thrones?
the guy
What is his name?
He fights for Tyrion
in his battle for freedom
And he's like
He just fucks everybody
It doesn't matter
Man woman
It's like creed
He's like I've done a lot of things
Have a man slips in there
It could have happened
There's no way of knowing
But Tommy Fleetwood
And Francesca Mellinar
With like the best funniest commercial
I've ever seen
They're just so likable right now
It's just
It really does suck
That they showed up
In this type of presence
Where like I'm gonna remember this
As being just such a spanking
And such a
As Dave always like to say
Dave Portain
likes to say they made us sit down
and they rubbed our bellies. Like we basically
the United States just got
absolutely dominated mentally, physically
even just by social media
and being funny, everything. And then
the clip came out yesterday from
Bubba Watson's Twitter account of
Phil kicking a water bottle off
the head of Zach Johnson. I was
legitimately furious when I saw that. I'm a Phil guy
and I fucking saw. Bubba Bubba's tweeting like
oh Phil's such a legend and then you see the video
and Phil kicks the water bottle off Zach's
head and everybody's laughing. Everybody's having a good time.
Fuck that.
And they're wearing American pants.
Like where was all of this like patriotism and all this energy and all of this, you know, just fight?
Like, I mean, Phil Mickelson looked like he practiced for that for like years.
Yeah.
But when he's on the golf course, it's like he can't even hit a fucking fairway.
So it was kind of an embarrassing thing to, you know, put up on social media and be like, look at how awesome we are.
We're celebrating.
We're having a grand old time.
Meanwhile, they're just in a bed like having sex with a trophy right now.
It's a joke.
It's an absolute joke.
It's like, what are you guys doing laughing?
I'm not laughing.
I can't even sleep at night.
I had a horrible week.
I went all the way to Paris, so you guys ruined my whole week.
Tiger's going 0 and 4.
I don't know what happened to that guy.
It's like he a week ago, like I said, is going to win the next 10 major straight.
This week, he literally couldn't even play golf.
O and 4 is such an stunning number that I can't even like, I'm embarrassed saying it out loud in the airport right now.
I feel I need to like walk around and whisper it to people because it's such an embarrassing thing.
Tiger 04 and 0, like, what is that?
You're the best player of all times.
He's playing the best golf.
Phil all week is like chirping about how well I played with.
with Tiger today. He's swinging at the best I've ever seen him swing it in his entire career.
Phil, stop doing leg kicks and, like, sucking Tiger's dick. Play golf. Go to the range.
Like, figure out how to hit the ball the way that he's hitting the ball or the way that you think he's
hitting the ball because you're not even close. So it was just the whole thing. Like you said,
the leg kick and all that drove me insane. I almost puked when I saw it this morning.
You guys are all laughing and having a good time. Phil, go to the driving range until the next rider
cup. He shouldn't be off the driving range until the first ball is.
in the air at whistling straights because he's that bad.
He's literally, it was the biggest automatic loss I've ever heard in my entire life.
It is such a sickening thing, gentlemen, being here in person and understanding how much the European fans,
like they genuinely love Ian Polter.
Like, they love everything about it.
There were people, there was a whole section of the crowd where people wear visors on purpose
so that they can, like, look like Ian Polter.
They love him.
They're just obsessed with Ian Polter.
They love everything that he does.
That makes me upset.
Singing Ian Poulter songs, and all of those people, and Ian Poulter himself, left incredibly happy.
That's what sucks.
Those people had, like, an awesome week.
That makes me upset.
It made me upset going into the Rider Cup that I knew Ian Poulter was going to have this new sense of, like,
I'm a God, I'm a good golfer.
Yeah.
I hate that Ian Poulter goes to the Rider Cup, especially this one, and leaves thinking he's the best
golfer in the world because he actually does suck.
He just plays well in this tournament, right?
He plays well for the Ryder Cup.
He goes crazy.
He's a crazy European.
But, I mean, the guy gets cut.
Like, I didn't even know he was going to, he didn't even have his freaking card.
I mean, he almost lost his car.
It was a mathematical, the mathematical miracle that he still kept his tour card.
I mean, I'm looking at his, like, history.
Tied for 51st, cut.
Tied for 48th.
Tired for 31st.
Cut.
25th.
The guy's not playing good golf, and he left the rider cup thinking he's, like, God's gift of the earth.
He's running around.
He's taking his visor off.
He's screaming like a fucking maniac.
He went up to his son.
I hate that.
It gives him confidence.
He went after his son.
He went up to his son after he won his match yesterday.
grabbed him by both cheeks like in Billy Madison and was like I won this for you.
It's like, I don't want him to have that moment with his son.
I'm sorry.
He doesn't deserve it.
No, he doesn't.
He sure doesn't.

But you know who deserves that sort of misery is us because our team sucked.
Our guys didn't bring it at all. We weren't even close. We need to completely start over.
We need to go like task force number two and get back up to this, back into this like fresh
blood new guy young studs think about how many young like hungry studs we left in the united
states of america and we bring all these old guys over there who can't play golf who are dead they're
just looks like they're entirely dead again i don't even know like i can't i can't wrap my brain
around how the whole thing happened i don't know if we just shouldn't allow anybody on the team
that's over like 40 or what the hell we should do because we need this young awesome energy our young
studs,
uh,
speed and JT
were dominant again.
They were phenomenal.
J.T., you got to give that guy
a million pieces of credit
for the fact that he just stepped up.
When he beat Rory to start that
match and Rory had the fried egg in the
fairway bunker and then couldn't get out of the bunker
and then like bladed one into the
water. I was like, oh shit, we might have
something on our hands here. So big credit
to those guys actually stepping up and delivering.
But we need to go more young. We got
to like revamp our whole thing.
I'm like reconsidering my whole life over here after what I witnessed.
Do you think we need someone or do you think someone would, like a Rider Cup captain,
be like, all right, Tiger and Phil, you guys aren't playing.
We're just not picking you.
You guys clearly suck at the Rider Cup.
You can come be assistant captains.
You can come do your Yoda Tiger, your Yoda Phil thing.
But you guys just can't play in the Rider Cup anymore because you suck at it.
Do you think anyone would actually do that?
Well, the problem is that Tiger's probably going to qualify it in two years on his own.
Oh, true.
Phil, I don't think, will.
But I do think Tiger probably will.
And it's crazy as the big tiger guys that we are to sit here and talk about this.
But like next, I don't know if we're just going to get all hyped up again two years from now and be like,
oh, no, he's got it this time and then be let down again.
But I'm fully convinced that he just, he, like, his aura of selfishness and the Terminator and how dominant and ruthless he is,
clearly like seeps into his partner and makes that person incapable of playing golf
because no partner that he's ever had can possibly play with him or play well.
All of a sudden, like Patrick Reed couldn't play golf.
I don't think he broke 90 that one round with Tiger and then he goes out,
wins a singles match.
And then Bryson, when he played with Tiger again, was not great, not at all.
And then he gave Norin a hell of a match yesterday.
So it's like people just literally lose the ability to play golf when they play with him.
And Bryce and same deal with Phil.
Like I said, I think there were seven down through nine holes.
Yep.
Like four professional golfers playing a match together, seven down through nine holes.
I don't know how that's even possible.
So I don't know what it is.
Again, I don't know if like in two years we're going to be all jacked up and we're going to be like, oh, yeah, Tiger again in the rider club.
He's going to be so dominant because that's how we were going into this.
Having watches warm up on Friday, I thought, oh, my God, when this guy walks on the tea, it is over for Europe.
He also, it's amazing.
We're standing on the first tea and they showed the whole.
seeing the grandstands how tall it was it really was that crazy in person and all that they boo
or at least don't cheer and make it like crazy quiet for all of the americans except when tiger
walks out under that first tea the fans go crazy they love tiger in europe they love it i mean how can you
not it's we we talk about it all time we get we read these books uh the book tiger woods by our good
friend uh arma katan we get to read these books about this guy and what was that book called
I think it's the one with his face on it.
Tiger Woods.
Tiger Woods.
That's the name of that book.
And then we just get to see him in real life.
It really, it's like reading the Odyssey and then seeing like the monsters in front of you.
It's crazy.
But what I want to say real quick that I think is getting lost in all this is that I'm not,
that may be the biggest tragedy coming out of this is that I'm not allowed now to give my Bryson hate for what he does deserve.
Because of how bad the U.S. played, I'm not allowed to specifically.
point him out, you know?
Like I had all my notes written down.
Every time he hit a bad shot, I mean, he missed,
Tiger set him up perfectly on the first two holes.
I'm doing it anyway, I guess.
He missed the first two shot.
He missed the first two putts and totally ruined Tiger's momentum.
Dude, Bryson had Tiger hitting out of the weeds.
He had Tiger hitting out of the weeds.
I was worried for, if Bryson DeShambeau was the reason for Tiger Woods's back, like breaking,
I probably would have murdered him.
Somebody tweeted that at me, we're like,
because I tweeted about him hitting out of the fucking weeds because of Bryson.
and somebody's like, what happens if Tiger hurts his back because of Bryson?
And I didn't have an answer because I was so steaming mad about it.
Steaming mad.
Steaming.
But yeah, and then I talked about it a little bit before, but Molinari finally made a mistake.
It looked like we had a window.
Even Tiger Tracker was tweeting out, like, this is the fucking chance.
Let's go.
Let's go, Bryson.
You can do this.
Just pipe one right down the middle.
Just play it safe.
He just takes a drive around and just hits it into the water.
It's like, how dumb can you be in that situation?
You're playing with the best golfer of all time.
Just let him have a shot in the fair way.
way just one time just let tiger woods the best iron player in the world hit a good shot from the
fairway just let him do it once you were you were not allowing him to do it i'm sorry i'm doing what
i said i wasn't going to do because i shouldn't be pointing out bryson de chambos failures and his
his failures to the united states of america he let us all down but i can't just pinning him out
because tiger sucked phil sucked everyone sucked but there i did it anyway you did do it anyway
you know i you know i fly off the handle sometimes i did it feel good getting that out frankly
It did, but you know what?
It's not deserved because they all sucked.
It's like, it's like pointing out, like, the number seven batter in a lineup that gets, like, no hit.
Yeah.
You know, it's like, oh, you went over four or four strikeouts.
Like, the whole fucking team didn't get a hit.
Look, there's a ton of things to talk about.
We will continue to break all this down.
Unfortunately, gentlemen, I have to now take, like, an eight-hour flight back to the United States of America.
Okay.
So it's going to suck.
It's going to, I'm going to sit there and just think about how.
pathetic our entire attempt was. I'm going to sit there and think about how pissed off I am at our
team for not understanding how to play team golf. I'm going to think about how pissed off I am that
they even allowed it to be possible that we have all these clips now of Sergio and of Coulter
and all these guys celebrating and drinking right in our face and how it's the worst thing ever. So I'm
going to go do that for eight hours on an airplane. We will continue to break this down throughout
the next couple weeks, probably for like the next two years straight. But it sucks. It's an awful
feeling. It was a terrible weekend in Paris. I didn't have any fun whatsoever. And we're going to have to
crush them come whistling straight. Yeah, I feel bad that you went all the way over there,
but you got to experience a great, you know, a great experience. You got to see. You got to eat some
cheese. You got to eat some cheese. I saw you. You were, oh, before you go, I mean, I saw the
pictures of you in front of the Eiffel Tower. You were literally beaming. There was a beam coming from
your head into just, into just, into just space. And there is one. There is one.
one picture of Riggs.
Is that on the golf course?
There's one, yes.
The picture of Riggs on the golf course,
you need to carry that picture on a lanyard.
Wear that fucking thing around your neck.
And every girl you run into,
you're like, this is what I can look like.
Because that is an unbelievable picture.
A girl walks up to Riggs in the bar and she starts to talk to him.
Yeah, I mean, I just gasped.
I just had a lump in my throat.
Trent just showed me the picture.
A girl walks up to Riggs in the bar,
and he just stops her in her tracks.
He's just like, hold on.
We need to look at this for reference before you start speaking.
This is the picture.
She looks at it.
And then you guys continue your conversation.
That will be a game changer for you.
Look, I got to be honest.
Big shout to my friends is Peter Millar.
You can go to petermalar.com slash four,
but the reason I look so good in our handful of pictures
where, you know, nobody really knew that I could look that good
that are floating around on the Internet right now,
maybe on my Instagram account, maybe on my Twitter account,
maybe you should go check them out, where it's true,
despite all the negativity going on around me,
despite the fact that all the little Euros are running around making fun of me
because I was wearing USA colors all the time,
and they're winning and crushing us and stomping on our throats
and beating my favorite player in the history of anything ever
that they got to laugh at me for that.
I still look really, really good doing it.
So I'm very happy to you pointed that out, Trent.
That feels way better.
Many people are saying that if Peter Millar sponsored the U.S.
team, that we would have swept the entire card.
Many people are saying that.
I mean, I'm not even kidding.
I saw it on Twitter that people were like,
if everyone looked as good as Riggs did
because people were saying that our outfits always stink for the U.S.,
they just never get it right.
if people look as good.
If Tiger was wearing what Riggs was wearing on the golf course,
I think he would have just swept the card.
I think there's no doubt.
I think that's 100% what most people are thinking.
So again, that's a good point.
That's kind of a good, solid analysis that people come here for.
So at least that looks really good.
I'm going to have those pictures forever.
That is massive.
That's huge.
I appreciate you, gentlemen, taking the time to break this down.
Like I said, we're going to continue to do so.
But unfortunately, I've got to get on a flight.
So I will have to talk to you.
You esteemed gentlemen later.
All right.
Au-voir.
All right, man.
Safe travels.
O'Vois, boys.
I hit it hard.
I've given up by now.
All the rough I've seen these ups and downs.
Somehow I just keep on playing through.
So all you critics pull up a chair at the winter circle soon.
I'll be there with a high five and a smile for you.
The people trying to tell me how to live my life.
These lawyers and strings spending money like my life.
ex-wives sure I gamble and I drink and smoke three packs a day hell ain't country music
supposed to be this way it's from the hard man I hit it hard man I hit it hard man I hit it
