Whoa, man.
What a day.
What a day.
Tiger Woods just won the 2019 Masters Tournament.
His fifth green jacket, his 15th major championship is 81st PGA Tour victory.
We are recording, I don't know, 30 minutes after the whole thing finished up, maybe an hour.
a fucking whirlwind right now.
It's hard to keep up with everything.
I'm sure all you Tiger fans out there are just like Gus.
Your group chats are going crazy town.
You're trying to follow on Twitter on Instagram.
He's doing his presser right now.
We were like, well, fuck this.
We can't wait until Monday to record.
We can't even wait till tonight.
We just got to get this thing out there.
Tiger Woods, he just won the Masters.
What can you say?
Frankie's sitting here in a fucking mock red turtleneck.
One of the best outfits I've ever seen.
I've just ever seen.
The turtlenect goes on for years.
The way Frankie walked in this morning, because we all watched it at the office together,
the way he walked in today with that on and laser focus, I never liked our chances better.
And here we are.
He won the fucking tournament.
You all see, you didn't say a word.
You just walked in like Tiger looked on 15, 16, 17, 18, that dead stair.
You are all business, and you brought it.
Tiger brought it.
Woo!
It is a lot to digest.
It was great.
The elevator is so quiet this building.
We're doing this so.
close to when he put in that final put that
it definitely hasn't sunk in for all of us
but the fact that it's a thing
it's I can't fucking believe that
this is um you know I think that we will look at this
what we watch today as the greatest sporting moment
that we will ever witness in our entire lives
I don't know what could possibly be better
um you know I'm going back through and
and trying to think about big moments all I could go back to
is like Tiger like the 97 Masters the 2008 US Open
with a broken leg and all that.
I think this is way bigger.
I mean, I think everything can say this is way bigger.
Think about since 2008, which was his last major championship,
everything that has fucking happened is outrageous.
He had right afterwards, he had ACL, like complete reconstructive knee surgery.
He was out for like a year.
He came back.
The following fall, he has the scandal.
Everything that happens after I didn't win on the PJ tour for two years.
He gets back to number one in the world finally.
Has the incident where he hits the pin at Augusta on Friday.
in the water. He ends up not winning that
Masters. Then he goes through a ton of injuries. He had the
DUI two years ago. All
that BS, the fusion. It's like he
told Nick Faldo he might never play golf again
two years ago. He just won the
fucking Masters. We're so far
moving to that original scandal after
2008. That feels like a
million years ago. We are so
many iterations away from
that that one is, the DUI is
the one that comes to my memory immediately now.
Because the
porn star original scandal is
so goddamn far away.
It's been forever.
It's two different people.
Yes.
This is the second tiger.
This is a new Tiger Woods.
He's smiling.
And I'm waiting for this tiger to finally come back.
I don't even think I have a voice anymore.
Today has been the best day of my life.
I think that's, I think it's safe to say today it was the best sporting day of my entire
life.
I agree.
We didn't even have what you had, which is your whole other element of the New York
Islanders winning against Pittsburgh.
The New York Islanders were playing at the same exact goddamn time as Tiger Woods
was roaring up the leaderboard at Augusta.
He's walking down 17.
and the Islanders are on a five on three power play,
about to go three nothing up on penguins.
What the hell is going on with my life today?
We have Game of Thrones tonight.
Today has to be the best day of life.
I am walking out of this place after we record this amazing podcast after Tiger Woods just won,
his 15th major and his fifth green jacket.
Holy fuck.
Oh my God.
I'm going to buy a lottery ticket.
I swear to God I am.
I love that decision.
Great idea.
Maybe I get hit by a car tomorrow.
Maybe.
Today I'm a winner.
Today you're going to be on top.
I am a winner.
Today you're going to be on top.
all Tiger people, people are on top. For you, especially with the Islanders, you're double
on top. There's a classic clip of Frankie Borella, I don't know who's all seen it, but where you're
at an Islander's game and you just yell, I don't want to be sad anymore. Yeah, that was last
year during an Islander Ranger game, the Islanders gave up like a lead and I said, you know what,
I'm just done being sad. Well, I don't want to be sad anymore. And today I bring to you people
listening, I am happy. I'm a happy person right now. I'm happy as fuck. This tournament is
one for the ages, not just because Tiger Woods won, but if you go through the leaderboard,
every day throughout this tournament.
If you were following on Twitter,
if you're on Facebook, if you're on Instagram,
if you're watching Golf Channel coverage, CBS coverage, ESPN coverage,
everybody's talking about, holy shit,
these leaderboards are unbelievable.
The final leaderboard tied for second place are Dustin Johnson,
Zander Shafley, and Brooks Kebke.
A stroke behind that, you've got Jason Day,
Webb Sensen, Francesco Molinari, Tony Fienow, behind that.
You've got John Rom, Ricky Fowler, Patrick Cantlay.
Behind that, you've got Bubba Watson,
Justin Thomas, the leaderboard is, has been the whole week outrageous.
Tiger Woods didn't this time.
If anybody was bitching when he won the tour championship, I go, it was a 30-person field,
this, that.
This was the master's tournament.
Go, fuck yourself.
This was the best leaderboard you could imagine.
The only guy's missing Rory and Justin Rose outside of that, every name was in there.
Phil was in there for a while.
Molinar, he's been like the best player of the planet for the last year.
He fucking stared that guy out and ripped his heart out in the middle.
The guy hit in the water on 12.
He dunked one on 15.
He collapsed in the presence of Tiger Woods.
It's just unbelievable.
A 43-year-old tiger.
People were saying he can't putt this year.
Remember that first round?
How many short putts he missed?
He couldn't make a putt.
He can't win the Masters doing that.
He won the fucking Masters.
I mean, early today, he didn't see many balls go in.
And we're all like, you've got to find them out.
You have to make putts to win this tournament.
And then he started rolling.
Molinarri kind of fell off the side.
People collapsed around him.
And it started to look so good.
People collapsing around him and him just staying strong.
That's what you want.
I mean, that's,
That's the tiger we want.
Tiger really put himself out there, too, with what we'll discuss shortly.
But him on the 6-T box, if anybody saw that, I mean, he was three yards in front of the teeth
and just while they're hitting the ball.
Like, they could have hit him if they hit it off the top.
We talked about it when we were watching it.
We think that it was downright just disrespectful.
It was.
I mean, there's no doubt about it.
If it wasn't Tiger, it's the most disrespectful thing in the world.
No, it is.
I don't care who it is.
What he was doing, I would argue, if I was playing a match of my buddies, I would have to say to them,
that is unsportsman-like.
what are you doing? He was like standing in front of the tea in his red shirt, which just
clothes like magic at Augustine National. It really does.
While Molyneari and Tony Feeneau are trying to hit, he did the same thing on the ninth tee.
He's standing like two feet next to the guy. I was like, how are you guys going to allow that?
I think they're just scared of the guy. But he just looked like the Terminator.
He looked like everything that we've talked about. Like he's fucking Darth Vader out there
among a bunch of pussies, a bunch of country club pussies. He was a machine.
The mock neck.
Mock necks are in.
Oh, nothing's ever been more in than the mok neck.
I may never take off this turtleneck, let alone a mock neck.
I want to go higher.
I'm going to go over my ears.
No air can escape out of that.
Your neck on that thing is as long as the rest of the shirt.
Yes.
It is the longest neck thing ever.
Look how scrunched up it is.
It's still up to your fucking jaw.
Well, you know, the thought behind is that Tiger's wearing a mock neck and I was like, I'm going to support him so much that I'm not just going to mock it.
I'm going to go all the way up to my chin.
That's what I want to do.
I want to take this thing to another level.
It's so much to digest
It was an unbelievable week
The Masters Tournament
I like what they said Masters Tournament
The Masters Tournament
From Jack Nicholas at the beginning of the week
Trying to get under Tiger's skin
With his fucking sandbagging bullshit
About Tiger with the easiest this now
Although he did kind of turn out to be a little bit right
Now I don't know how to feel about Jack
I'm really confused on the Jack thing
I don't care nobody in nobody in the world
Could be more rattled than Jack Nicholas right now
Like he was like that guy's done
Ain't nobody gonna get close to 18
Tiger was the biggest threat now he's just
no one's ever had a bigger fall in the history of the world.
Boom, nobody's ever had a bigger comeback in the history of sports.
Then Tiger Woods winning the 2019 Masters.
Let's go through the final round real quick while it's freshen our heads.
First off, starting earlier, we are pumped about it because we're a Game of Thrones fans.
So we've got Thrones tonight.
It's going to be a big day for us working.
We knew we were going to do the podcast pretty much right afterwards with Tiger being in the mix.
All of a sudden, instead of seeing off at 2.30, they're teeing off at 9.30 in the morning.
We're able to get everything done.
wild move by Augusta.
I mean, you know they had to have a huge committee of like 30 people being like,
we're going to move this thing up for the first time ever from 2.30 to 930.
20, right? Is that what they were doing in the morning?
Split T's.
That feels like sacrilegious.
On Sunday and Augusta, it's just wild.
Right.
That's, yeah, I can't even comprehend that, but they made the call.
Augusta also, I mean, anything that they do is just perfect.
Their app, Lurch, I know you're obsessed with the app.
I'm obsessed with it.
You say it every five minutes ago.
Have you guys seen this app?
I just, yeah, we're.
I want to make sure.
I'm basically kicking out as many notifications as they did on Saturday to tell everybody that the T-T times have moved up.
Lance was so, he was so focused to making sure he got those Sunday ratings.
Every five seconds, he goes, by the way, we are moving the T-Times up.
CBS will have the live coverage.
I was like, yeah, wet that beat, Nancy.
You make sure you get your ratings.
Good for you.
By the way, this is going to be the best ratings year, maybe ever.
It has to be.
Tiger Woods won the Max.
It's just like crushed.
They're just going to crush it.
Nancy would always start too with,
Nance would start with if you just joined us
and he would do that every 30 seconds.
Yeah, he did.
Yes, I've been here.
If you just joined us.
Nancy times will meet us.
Right.
No one's just tuning in.
Like if anyone's, like,
you think anyone was just flipping on the channel back?
Oh, Tiger Woods is like on, uh,
and if they don't care about tomorrow.
Like, if they're just like touching down now,
like they're like, oh, I'll touch the end of it.
And this, this lovely voice just welcomed me onto the screen.
Oh, I like that piano riff that they're doing.
That's lovely.
What does that represent?
I wonder.
I wonder.
We didn't just join.
I've been,
I've been watching the Masters for a hundred days straight.
Like when they started tweeting out 100 days to the Masters,
fucking three months ago,
I've been watching ever since then.
We have to take a quick break to tell you all about Supreme Golf.
We're riffing so hard,
we're going so hard that we're just,
we just have to do breaks to get these ad reads in
because we're just so excited about Tiger.
We used Spring Golf this past weekend.
We played out at Silver Lake.
We had a fantastic time because Supreme Golf is the best.
They give you the best discounts.
They got every other guy you've ever heard of,
plus just thousands and thousands more tea times.
So not using them makes you a dumb person.
They're the best T-Time app.
They're the best T-Time website.
You can have their app now.
Oh, my God.
It's unbelievable.
It might be the cleanest thing I've ever seen.
My buddy just hit me up while we were recording the podcast,
and he's like, I just watched Tiger Woods win the Masters.
No joke said, what is the four-play Supreme Golf, like, code?
Like, how do I do this?
And I'm going to play golf right now?
Because obviously the Masters ended up, like, what, 2.30?
He's like, I'm going right now to play golf.
And I'm wearing my mock t-shirt.
He's like, I'm going to fucking rip it up, and Supreme Golf is going to get me there.
I texted him immediately.
I'm like, you got to go here, Riggs.
Your buddy might shoot 65.
You go to SupremeGoff.com slash Barstool.
Oh, what's going to happen to that?
Supreme Golf giving away $1,000 to 10 winners, starting now, running all the way through August 1st.
Supreme Golf.com slash barstool.
Go to the Supreme.
Go to your app store.
Get Supreme Golf.
They're the best.
We love you, Supreme Golf.
Love it.
Final round.
Tiger gets into the final group.
Turned out to be a huge.
benefit that they went threes instead of just
twos because they're trying to speed up
the weather so he gets into that final group with
Frank. I know you don't like when they call him Frank
Frank but that was a little much. You know,
he had GC Tiger Tracker's tweeting out Frank
Frankie, Frankie's in the drink, Frankie's wet
all this stuff. I'm like, all right, I don't want
the guy who's going against Tiger Woods to be called Frank
Frankie. Let's call him Francesco Molinadi.
That's all his name is okay.
That's Italian. That's exhausting.
That accent is so exhausting coming from you.
I'm not allowed to do that with that. I'm not allowed to do that
With the turtleneck on the asshole, does the turtleneck turn that off?
The whole thing for me.
It kind of turns it up.
I look like a valet.
Correct.
No, you do, you look like an Italian waiter right now.
Perfect.
If you took the Nike hat off.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, man.
So he gets in the final group with those two guys.
That turned out to be massive.
Massive.
Every post-round interview we heard from every player,
they couldn't get halfway through the first sentence without being like,
it was pretty amazing out there.
You could hear tight DJ set alone.
He goes, you can tell there's a big difference between a DJ Roar and a
Tiger Roar. It's like, oh yeah, you bet your ass there is.
And then he had like a show of emotion. He like smiled after that, which I really love.
Yeah, me too. You never see after.
No.
Oh, DJ, you got personality and a brain a little bit. Cool.
It's shocking. Always good.
Always good to see.
And some emotion. I never knew that, DJ.
So Tiger gets into the final group. He had a lightning finish to the round Saturday.
He kind of like vaulted himself really into the tournament because yeah, he was like in the mix going in.
But then all of a sudden he got basically tied for the lead.
Molinarie went a little crazy, made a couple of birdies.
He was too ahead going into Sunday, but Tigers in the final group, let's go.
And then everything happened really fast.
I mean, it felt like if you're at all like us, you were drinking all day, Saturday,
all day, watch the Masters, cool as Saturday you could possibly have, go out,
you're so excited Tigers in the mix, you get a little fucked up Saturday night.
Then all of a sudden, it's like, wait, I'm hungover as hell.
I wake up, and all of a sudden Tiger Woods is just teeing off in the final group of the Masters.
That's exactly what happened.
Everything happened really fast.
Kind of a slow start.
You kind of got the vibe right away, like nobody's going to go low today.
At least nobody that's in the top, you know, the last group or two.
You kind of just could tell.
People were jittery.
People were a little nervous.
Nobody really in the final group birdied, like the first couple holes, first maybe three holes.
Oh, first two.
Tiger birdied three.
But then he made a couple bogeys in a row, and you're thinking like, man, he's just going to come up short again.
He's going to finish slow again.
He's right there.
He just doesn't have the magic.
He missed a couple pots.
It's like, motherfucker.
And then even going in the back nine, it was he got himself.
when he birdied seven, which is huge.
He made that putt on eight to kind of stay tight with Molinari when Molinari,
that's when he looked like a machine.
We're all screaming, cursing, yelling at Malinari.
Fuck this guy.
He was pulling out every card.
It started at six when he stood in front of the T-box.
He was like, if I'm not going to make putts, I got to assert myself.
I got to show everybody the world that I'm Tiger Woods.
When Molinar looks at his ball, I want him to see red.
Yes, I want him to see me and know that I'm in this game.
Because he wasn't, like, he wasn't firing on all simlers there.
He stood inside six, makes a great par.
makes birdie on seven, birdie on eight, and then you're kind of like, here we go.
We need a little.
Well, a tiger didn't make a great par on six.
He missed like a fucking six-go birdie pot.
But, you know, not a bad par.
Yeah, Mollinarie was what was going crazy.
I mean, he got up and down from a fucking mile behind the green on six.
He's getting down from everywhere.
You know, he kind of, what he finally made that bogey on seven where he missed a punt.
And you're thinking, okay.
Then he makes that pot on eight to make birdie again.
You're like, Jesus Christ, this guy is such a machine.
That was a great dump.
He kept a cone.
He had that huge up and down on 10.
All of a sudden, Tigers, down by two again.
He hits this cut around the trees on 11 Molinarie to the fucking front part of the green
Tiger's over in the right trees.
You're like, it's coming apart.
He hits it in the Drake on 12.
It was great.
It was great.
And the way that the camera, the angle was, it was behind him, obviously, A men corner,
and they're looking at this amazing view.
They go all the way up with the ball, and you just have no idea of where this thing's dropping.
It's literally the most, your whole life lingers on this camera.
And all of a sudden, the ball just is going down down.
and they just show it just in the middle of the water.
Game of Thrones does not do dramatics better than CBS does that.
Even on that next shot when Tiger had to hit the green,
we had no fucking idea where that one was going.
All of a sudden, it's just a dart in the middle of the green.
We're just, oh, we go nuts.
It did feel like there was a good chance that it could go in the water.
He needed some Bryce and math to figure out, like, the air density and the differences,
because we just saw Kepka and who was he playing with today?
Who's Kepka playing with?
Anyways, they both went in the water right before him.
So I was like, there's a good chance that the first T-shots,
It's the riskiest one that you can play into that green.
And then so all that happened, they go in the drink.
I'm thinking big shots here from Molinari off the gate.
He goes in the water.
I think Tiger changes the shot.
He goes center green.
We erupt.
I mean, it's just.
When do you get a shot change that late and around at Augusta?
I thought it was dead.
Like you were saying, like he was just playing his game.
Molinar was doing his thing.
Par, par, par, par.
Nails.
From everywhere.
Nails.
It was insane.
It's like, when are we going to gain strokes on this guy?
We have to make fucking eagles out.
here because he's just going to keep birdying.
That was legit.
That ball in the water from Monari was the first, like, drop of blood in the water where it was
like, what are you doing?
You cannot let your blood leak into the water right there.
This guy is all fucking over you.
Clinical right in the middle of the green made that like six footer for par to get to tie the lead
at that point.
And it's like, oh, shit.
But yeah, that CBS doing that on 12, dare I say they have mastered that.
Oh, nice.
Very, very.
Oh, I didn't even notice.
That was unbelievable.
Well, CBS they mastered the master's coverage.
You know what they have mastered?
That goddamn tracer.
Oh.
The amount of times that thing was off.
Which is a good time to talk about 13 because that's what we thought.
It's tough to find anything negative in today.
Yes.
Like, today is the most positive, unbelievable day that I think I've ever experienced.
But the tracer was a fucking issue.
Tracer was just wrong.
Because we're trying out.
We're watching this and obviously we're all like crazy when we're watching these,
when we're watching this events.
Like, we're making noises and we're screaming.
So, like, you see a tiger shot.
like right off the T, he hits a stinger.
All of a sudden it looks like it's going to be like, you know, like right down the middle.
You're like, let's fucking go.
And then it's just not.
It's behind a tree.
Like, well, you can't do that to us, Tracer.
I'd rather not have a tracer.
I'd rather not know and make that instant reaction be like, let's go.
And then just say, oh, fuck, it was just wrong.
How about Tiger's T shot on seven when he had pulled that three would hit a little stinger?
It looked like he hit it, I don't know, 700 yards right?
And then all of a sudden it just straightens out.
It goes down the middle.
On 13, does anybody have any idea what happened on 13?
No idea.
God stepped out.
It looks like the way he reacted is like he hit a snap hook.
He gave a little kick of his foot like I slipped.
You're thinking, oh, no.
He just tied the lead, slipped.
His ball's in the middle of fucking fairway.
Right down the middle.
Right.
Dave's family.
He arguably one of his best drives of the day.
I think that it had to have maybe just gone through the trees.
Right?
Like it just didn't hit a tree, 90% air.
I never see anything like it.
That was unbelievable.
That clip that we posted where Dave Portnoy for anybody who doesn't know,
anybody who's not a huge bar or social fan,
just a four-play fan.
our boss, huge anti-tiger guy, biggest anti-tiger guy, probably in the country.
He came here to troll us and watch.
He was so pumped to just soak in our misery and chirp us and troll us and all that.
That moment, when he hit that left, we all went, oh, my God, oh, no.
He goes, oh, the excuses, here it comes.
And then all of a sudden the ball was in the middle of fairway.
We got to turn it back on him.
That was the TSN turning point.
I mean, it was over at that point.
I mean, that roller coaster of emotions, everything that happened on 12, you're like, let's go.
Good T-ball here.
puts more pressure on the group.
Slip, we think it goes left.
Now it's just a train wreck of a day potentially.
Perfectly down the middle.
So you're just, I mean, up and down in a motion,
screaming every which way.
I'm light-haired because I'm hung over.
I have a fucking headache right now.
Oh, my God.
I mean, this is too much.
I'm sweating.
I'm uncomfortable.
Sitting in a leather chair.
It's just too much, man.
Never thought I'd see Tiger Woods do this again.
I thought I was too young for his amazing, like,
to experience what it's like to really be a fan and, like,
play the sport a lot.
Like, now I play golf.
all the time. I was just too young when he did it. I'm like, I'm never going to see it. Like, I missed it.
I miss Wayne Gretzky. I miss Michael Jordan. I miss fucking Tiger Woods being like the 2000 Tiger Woods.
The 2,000 Tiger Woods. I was fucking seven. The Raise the Roof Tiger Woods. Like, you know, you grow up loving this guy.
You hear every like my dad loves Tiger Woods. Like I want to watch Tiger Woods. March down 18 at Augusta National win a fucking master's and he did it. Bingo.
He did it. Bingo. We watched it happen. We think we all thought we were going to miss it.
Everybody thought, like, we, we met, like, yes, I remember watching a little bit, but I wasn't as in the golf as I am now.
I wasn't aware of, like, his place in sports.
This is it.
And we just got to witness, like, probably the best win of his fucking career at the Masters tournament.
The most emotion into this win, his kid, all he said he wanted to do is win one for his kids.
He was like, he would always say, like, my kids have no idea, like who I am.
No.
Yes.
They have no clue.
And you can make the argument that in the beginning of his career, you know, Tiger 1,
Tiger 1.0, that he was doing it for his.
dad and his parents, like, that's all they wanted for him, was to be an assassin and a
winner and the best of all time.
Every time he won that picture with his dad at Augusta, he's the first thing he thinks
about as his dad.
Now, Tiger 2.0, the first thing he thinks about as his son, that's all he cares about.
He even said, I think when Patrick Greer was putting the green jacket on him, he's like,
this thing's come full circle.
Full circle.
The two pictures of Barstil Sports put up with him hugging Earl and that him hugging his kid.
Unbelievable.
It's an unbelievable story.
It's something that will be turned, obviously, into documentaries and stories and books.
You want to talk about fucking books.
I'm going to read the shit out of the next Tiger Woods book.
So let's go back through.
Okay, we're at 13.
Yep.
Smart.
He hits in the middle of green.
He and Frank both lag it down there.
They make birdies.
All of a sudden, they're tied for the lead.
This is the point we started getting like Patrick Cantley jumps into the mix.
Zander Shafley jumps into the mix.
It became unfollowable.
Like, you didn't know.
Tony Feeneh was putting for eagle at one point.
I'm like, is this guy the fucking lead?
What the hell's going on?
And it seemed like the broadcast.
out about Patrick Cantley and the amount of times you did okay he's punt for eagle what does that
mean oh he could be leading the tournament was it happened a hundred times i mean i'm not complaining
but we i mean we watch every tiger shot even like replays of his shot and then they would just
glimpse the guys who have like an eagle put and then now they have like a two-stroke leading on the
field i think at one point the context is terrible you know like they needed a live leaderboard
almost why they showed tiger every second because all this action was happening around the golf
course no tiger burst but like i think at one point patrick can't lay made it like
sank a putt, and then they just flashed co-leader on it for really quick,
and just went back to Tiger, like, looking at, you know, his approach.
It's like an Instagram story.
It was like a small story and then gone?
You're like, was that a mistake?
Do they know that they put that on the screen, co-leader?
And then poor guy crumbled after.
It was late.
Cantley, I think Saul that he was in the lead after 16, and then it just, the wheels fell off.
He looked like he saw a ghost.
No one's ever, like, I think he looked up to that leaderboard on the side of 15, 16,
and I think he went, oh, shit.
And then he just collapsed.
I was still sleeping
He's in the fucking
He's way right on 60
He's in the trees on 17
He's like just get this guy off the guy off
No yeah he got the spotlight on him
He's like nope, nope
Actually I just want to go back
I had a real comfortable life back here
I'm making decent cash
You know no one here's the fuck about me
Oh
Let's just get a T10 finish
We're fine
He puts his arm up
He says you know guys I try it out for a second
I'm not a big fan of us
I don't like it I don't like it
I want to go more the Kisner route
I like the T20s
Yeah big T-21 from KISS
Yes
Streak is back on
You could make an argument
That all the strong
stroke play events that he's played.
It's now seven stroke play events in a row that he has been T20 something.
You can make that argument.
I'm not saying we're going to on this podcast.
Nothing like that.
If Tiger Woods had one of the masters, that would be the headline everywhere.
Kevin Kisner keeps getting T20s and stroke player.
That'd be the top headline on ESPN.com.
Undoubtedly.
Sanders, Schauchley wins the managers, but another T-21 for Kevin Kisner.
The world reacts.
It's unbelievable.
It'd be another T-20s out of a Kisner, and then the smaller print would be like,
Shafley wins the Masters.
What a name, Zander Shafley.
I mean, that guy got a bad...
Usually when you talk about athletes and pro athletes,
like, all that guys got a fucking sick name.
Alexander Ovechkin.
Are you kidding me?
Zander Shafley?
Yeah, I mean...
Babe Ruth, what a name that is.
Oh, Tiger Woods.
Oh, that's a good one.
Are you fucking kidding.
That's a good name.
Tiger like the animal and then Woods like the golf club?
It's insanity.
It doesn't even make sense.
Most guys have tried different ways to last longer,
but thinking about...
Golf or Tiger Woods is not going to work.
In fact, that might make you ejaculate even quicker.
The folks at Roman and online men's health company are changing the game with Roman Swipes,
the secret to lasting longer during sex.
Roman Swipes are a clinically proven way to last longer in bed.
They are effective, easy to use, fast acting, and doctor recommended, but do not require a prescription.
Love all those things about it.
Roman can ship Swipes to you in discrete unmarked packaging.
That's huge.
So that, you know, you don't reveal that you kind of.
You just need a little help.
That you're kind of like going too quickly, right?
You don't want to like reveal all that.
No.
Girl walked into your place.
She sees that box.
You want to, yeah.
You want to keep that.
Struggling.
She's like, this is going to be 10 seconds.
Each swipes packet is small enough to hide in your wallet for whatever, whenever you need it.
Swipes are great.
They will not transfer to your partners so you can last longer without worrying.
They're super easy to use.
Just take the swipes out of the packet, apply, let it dry.
That's it.
Did you like that?
Packet, apply, apply, let it dry?
Unbelievable.
Yeah, that's a good read.
What are we, poets in here now?
I mean, this product is unbelievable.
I could have not lasted without even touching myself today with what happened in my sports world.
Some people thought you actually didn't last and went into the restroom during the celebration.
It was a very suspect bathroom visit from you.
Yes, it was.
I've had to pee a lot, but I'm not going to say what came out of me in that bathroom.
I'm not.
Keep Roman swipes in your back pocket for longer, better sex, and get yours fast with free two-day shipping by visiting get-roman.com slash four.
That is get-roman.com slash four.
So then we get to we go through 13 great birdie
All the sudden they're type of the lead we go through 14
Two great birdie looks when Tiger missed his
You're thinking motherfucker this Mowonari guy makes all these
He misses as well and on 15 things
This is the first time on 15
The way that that hole played out where everyone got to do pretty simple math
And go wait a second
He he's gonna have a one stroke lead here with three holes left of the masters
And that was when everybody started shaking
everybody started going.
It's not just, it is not just like there's a decent chance he wins the master's.
It was like it's his tournament to lose at this point.
Yeah, it was the first time you got to take like a breath of fresh air.
When, well, I mean, on 15 they had to wait.
The pace of play was great all day, but that was the first time that they had to wait.
And Tiger was first to play.
So you're like, all right, I hope he still stays in his groove.
It's a beautiful shot to the center of the 15th green.
And then when you started doing the math, like Riggs was saying,
I felt like I took like I took like a little breath of fresh air.
thought about the actual possibilities,
the scoring holes that are still left to the players that are close to the end
versus where he is.
And then with Molinari kind of falling behind,
Fienau made kind of a late charge to sneak into, I think, a T2 finish,
but nobody was really talking about him all night.
Another surprising almost leader of the tournament.
Unbelievable.
But it was, yeah, that was the first time where you're like,
I think there's a chance here that this could go our way.
So he makes that, Bertie.
He hits an incredible shot in the middle of the green.
So clutch.
If you've ever been there, you've ever looked at that.
green from the side. It is the narrowest motherfucking green you've ever seen. Tucked left
pin. He rips a long iron for, I think he was like 220, something like that, the middle of the green,
hits a beautiful lag putt down there. Frank, in the drink. Chunks one in the drink. You're like,
that guy's out, and then you start doing a little math. You're going, there's only a couple
guys that could possibly catch him. If he two puts that, he gets a 13, which he did. Then he steps
on 16. I'm pretty sure this is the moment that this golf tournament will be remembered for.
he hits, I think, an eight iron from 180 or 175, whatever it was.
Whatever it is.
It hits perfectly into that ridge.
I'm pretty sure the same damn spot he hit that chip in 2005.
It dribbles towards the hole.
That thing, I think everybody thought, oh, he's back so much to the degree that this is fucking going.
Well, Deschambeau and Justin Thomas hit balls in that same exact spot, and they got aces.
And we've seen it a million times.
When I saw that, I was like, it's in.
It's going in.
It doesn't.
But it's still, that's the shot that will remember the turn of.
If you were watching that, you didn't jump off your couch and get close to your TV as that thing was rolling towards a hole.
I mean, you just can't be a human being.
I don't think anybody did that.
That thing rolling towards that hole was the most electrifying moment.
Even when it missed, then everybody started to go, wait a second.
He's got a two-shot lead, two holes to go at the Masters.
Like, he's going to win the fucking Masters.
Goes through 17.
Big credit to him.
Rips a drive down the middle on 17.
Started to get nervous to shit.
Thank the Lord that Brooks Kepka missed putts on 17 and 18.
Tiger hits one tight in the middle of green.
Big credit to him hitting that drive down the pipe on 17 and on 18 for a guy.
On 17, he's hit a lot of bad drives on 17, a lot of bad drives.
He's been chirped forever about how his drivers may be as weak as club in terms of accuracy and all that.
For him to rip one down the pipe there, hits an iron in there tight, barely misses that putt.
Then Brooks Kevka missed a little bit after that.
He misses his put on 18.
You're thinking, okay, if he hits the fairway, this thing's over, hits a good three wood down there,
a little blocked out by the trees, hit a weird ass shot.
I got to say.
Weird ass shot.
Bizarre.
30 yards short or whatever it was.
We were trying to make sense of it.
I still think it was intentional.
He had an 8-iron from like 165 yards.
It just doesn't seem right, right?
Like you wouldn't go.
Right.
It was intentional to hit it that short and go 35, 40 yards short,
you would just take out like a sandwich or a pitching wedge, right?
So I think as soon as he saw, well, no,
because I think as soon as he saw Kepka miss his putt,
I think he knew five or better.
So then as soon as he was able to,
if he just hit a sandwich out,
then he would still have to cover that front left trap.
Right.
But he overcooked like a nice hard cut, and then he split the traps and could just take a nice aggressive pitch and use that hill to the advantage on the 18th and just kind of lob one out there, have it maybe roll back a little bit.
I guess the only justification I can understand if he really, if he did it intentionally, then his theory had to be, I cannot possibly let there be a chance that I get a plug in a bunker or like a downhill live plug and where I'm struggling to make bogey.
and he thought if I just hit this way short right
that's a super easy pitch into the hill
it'll die I can two put from there and lock this thing up
so that is understandable I guess
it would be weird for him to have hit that bad of a shot
in that moment if he was really like I'm trying to hit this
the middle of the green but then again it also seems weird to me
that he wouldn't just like he plays cuts all the time
for him to play a 15 yard cup with an eight iron
seems like pretty fucking basic but you know
he has lost like when he went to that playoff in 2005
with Krista Marco he had like a one
shot lead on 18 and he flared one into that right bunker
couldn't get up and down so like
the more we talk about it the more it seems
like he did it intentionally and it worked out perfectly
pitched in the middle of the green
aggressive chip
it was a great chip like he was a great chip like he
you think it was aggressive?
Just like the way he went at the hill like that and it just like
well every chip seems aggressive for you Frank
I know because he had watch it
he hit it forward like well no it's just like
he had it in the air with spin
like that's just like yeah
yeah that's something that in that moment
yeah
aggressive meaning like he went after it you know he wasn't that was no fucking flub shot
he was talking about a wet shot he's like somebody like a i don't know yeah landing on the moon
it's like you landed on the moon like look at what that guy just did on 18 about like
astrology exactly you're acting like he hit like the best chip the second best chip of all time
outside of that yeah no i mean just me watching him hit that chip was like that took me
i took my breath away i'm like holy fucking shit i'm putting myself in that situation i'm like
are you kidding me i think we're getting a little look like you must have been so nervous when he was
like 30 yards short you're thinking how's this guy
going to even get the playoff? I was screaming
at Lurch I'm like why did he do that
look at the impossible shot he has right now
and Lurtz's like no dude he has just an easy
chip nobody can make bogey from there
what's you gonna do he's got a wedge in his hair
how the fucks he's supposed to get this happen
and then when I mean aggressive when I watched him
I thought he was going to go up in the air
though I didn't think he would go into the grain like that
because I can't fucking do I can't even
picture trying to do that
and when he went when I saw the trajectory of it
I'm like holy fuck this is actually I think we're
uncovering some things right now because you're uncovering it's a great look at your brain though
yes because you have no idea what a wed shot really is well i don't know you can't hit one
you're acting like you hit a bump and run that was just a standard pitch in the middle of green
no it wasn't yes it was maybe the most standard pitch i've ever seen no it wasn't i mean this is coming
we did play golf yesterday like 745 it was unbelievable and uh we're able to play golf in the
morning come back be able to watch all the golf why you're talking fast there well i just
that part of the story doesn't matter we're all really excited i was speeding three
that because really the main point I wanted
to get to. Good speed talking, Lurch.
Thank you guys. I really appreciate that.
Now we just slowed them down.
Anyways, don't let us distract you from your main point.
You see what I'm trying to do here.
I don't want to get to the rest of the podcast. I saw Frankie basically
what did you make on that hall and eight?
I saw you hit six wedges, I think.
That's a lie. That's a lie. That's a lie.
First one short.
First one short.
Yeah, but the first one I had a tree in front of me.
First one short. Second one over the green.
Yep. Third one back over.
Yep. Tough break.
And then fourth on.
Fourth of you just.
nestled it on.
Let me say this.
As a guy that was in his group,
his third chip was phenomenal.
It just dribbled over the green.
Impossible green.
If anybody's ever played Silver Lake,
what was that?
Like the sixth or seventh green?
Dog shit hole.
Impossible green.
Yeah, the greens were running at about a one
on the stairs.
So now,
greens are running at a zero.
When I'm watching this guy,
when I'm watching this guy,
zero point five.
Try and win the masters,
like we just said,
how much it means for us.
And I have wedging his head on any team
where he needs,
you know,
he needs to go up
and make two puts.
I'm like, you know, I'm just nervous.
I was nervous watching to do that.
I was very nervous watching.
Look, I was nervous, too, but not because, like, this is a really difficult chip.
I thought it was the hardest chip in the world.
At no point that I think this was going to be where we were going to take a pit stop
and start arguing about the route.
You know what?
You know what did cross my mind was that if you remember, like, two years ago when Brando Chambly,
it was like he has the chipping games, he'll never get over that.
And I thought, like, if he fucking bones this chip or something here and loses the masters right now,
it'll go down as like the most like the worst and biggest collapsing moment in the history of all the stakes were incredibly high in those
so high so in that regard i understand what you're saying i pictured him hitting it short coming it back down down the hill and then dave just entering from the elevator back into the
thought about that as well yep i thought about the first thing i thought about i didn't think he i had no confidence
did he stayed down there in case something happened no i think he knew yeah he was playing too well the look on tiger's fucking face on 15 16 17 and 18 was
so good talk about the game
Gum? What's what the gum? The gum was outrageous.
Jake said we were getting Instagram DMs that it's CBD gum.
Why, if that's the evidence, it's true.
Yeah, I don't not believe it either.
Could be true, could not be true.
Why?
I'm just not going to believe it.
It's worth it.
You don't think it's something for like his like muscles or.
We're in the middle of a CBD boom.
No, I know we are.
You know, he gets sore a lot.
Maybe it's just something that relaxes.
Maybe you're right.
I'm just, I'm not on the belief side right now.
Part of the evidence is that Phil was doing the same thing and I believe that he was chewing
CBD gum.
Phil's more a guy that I would think would do CBD.
Oh, yeah.
Tiger's not.
Phil lets you know about this new company he's invested in in Las Vegas.
He's got to try out this new CBD gum.
I mean, there's a lot of things about Tiger that I didn't think that were possibly true years back.
Yeah.
And CBD could be just another thing in Tiger 2.0.
The gum was obviously different, right?
Like, we've never seen that blowing bubbles.
Like, the guy's walking up 17 at Auguste's like blowing bubbles.
Like, I've never seen anything like that.
Is that a new study that Phil and Tiger got like a release from some inside source that, like, if you chew gum,
a round of golf, it'll improve your performance.
I heard someone say peppermint, like the peppermint style or like the flavor is like,
just makes your brain like just activate more.
It can't be a coincidence these two guys for the first time of their fucking lives come
out of just chewing the shit out of gum.
Right.
I mean, it's a question that needs to be asked to them.
I'm watching a tiger hit it tight.
They zoom out on his face.
He's just chewing away.
Unbelievable.
There's one picture where he's literally blowing a bubble.
He can't be a shot of rigs just pretending to chew.
His jaw went left and right.
It didn't go up and now.
It's like he's never chew.
You know how to chew gum or?
It's really hard to imaginary chew.
Everybody at home trying to imaginary chew right now
Oh it is slam your feet of you all look like fucking idiots
I don't move my jaw left or right though
It's up or down
It looked like Pinocchio like you looked like a fucking puppet
Pinocchio
I'm really bad at fake chewing gum
Boys are struggling here we're so excited
We're like God of the skills you're really gonna need going forward
I stink at fake chewing gum
Really quickly before we move on
I know we're gonna keep talking Tiger
I just got we just brought up Phil
And we're talking wedges and just around this whole little
conversation up did anyone see the fucking
wed shot he hit yesterday.
A couple of them.
Two of them.
Flop shot.
He's on the fringe of the green and he takes a fucking full swing.
You want to talk about me getting like the looking at Tiger hitting that shot?
That was the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen with my own eyes.
I couldn't believe it.
I putted a putt.
I took out my putty yesterday.
What do you usually say there?
I putted a putt it?
I putted a ball.
I putted.
Yeah, I putted from.
Yeah, you don't say I putted a putt.
I don't know.
I putted from what?
35, 25 yards yesterday off the green?
Oh, at least.
And I said to you, genius to see.
I ended drilling the ball way over the green.
Like, I skull fucked the butt.
Dude, it was insane.
I think it's honestly the depth perception.
We figured out that I have that problem.
I don't think it matters.
If I'm 25, 30 yards away, I'm fucked.
But yeah, I saw that Phil shot, and that is something that will,
I'll keep that in the back of my brain for the rest of my life.
I mean, Phil just completely stays on brand.
Like, that's just out.
There's no way that's a rage of shot.
There's no way that's the correct way.
It's just a cocky shot of every life.
It's absolutely not the correct way to play that shot.
There's just so much risk in that shot.
So much.
To his point, he's such a good chipper that like...
It didn't even come close.
Maybe it's just not risk for him.
What if it is. It's just outrageous.
Ball stopped seven yards, seven feet, eight feet away.
The second one was better.
The first one is nowhere near.
I mean, you hit it with a big smirk on his face.
At the Masters.
He's just like, I'm going to do this.
I don't have you had money on the line.
Just played the guys, like, whoever he was playing with like 200 bucks.
The same shot that he hits over people's heads.
Yeah.
He would rather lose the master by one shot and just hit a normal put there.
Put it down the hill.
What are you doing?
It's going to roll.
It's going to get down there.
The Greens are lightning.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, we got something very...
