Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, 4Play listeners, you can find us every Tuesday and Thursday on Apple Podcast, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad-free on Amazon Music. You got yourself a nice week. Most people should have a lot of days off this week or not be a full week at least with Thursday off. Maybe Friday's kind of a joke. Maybe Wednesday's kind of a joke. For us, it's a joke. We got an email today that the office is just closed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, all the way until next Monday, which is excellent news.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Fantastic. Couldn't be better news. I will actually not be today, as everyone's listening to the show, will be my last day in the office until January 2nd. Jesus. I didn't even think about that. Yeah. Holy shit.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Thanksgiving. Bermuda for the Gosslings Invitational, which we'll talk about. It starts Monday? We're going Sunday. Wow. Till Friday. Then going straight to Australia for two weeks. So we're traveling without you to Australia.
Starting point is 00:00:55 No, no. I'm meeting you guys in New York. Flying from Bermuda to New York, going back to my apartment. packing for Australia, going back to the airport, and going to Australia. Two weeks in Australia. Home for Christmas. And then I'm going skiing in Denver with my dad for a couple days over New Year's and then back here January 1st.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Jesus Christ. Holy moly. Isn't that wild? What a world. Holy moly. It's a lot, man. There's a lot of golf. The Gosling's invitational.
Starting point is 00:01:21 Everybody's not familiar with Gosling's rum from Bermuda. Delicious. We did a deal with them. So I'm going to be out there playing. I think Whitney's actually going to be there too. It's a couple hundred people and you can pay a certain amount of money and just play. It's pros and amateurs. Our buddy Matt Parzi Allie is going to be there, the firefighter, who finished low am,
Starting point is 00:01:38 tied low am at the U.S. Open last year at Shinnock, big time friend of the program, friend of Barstool Sports, friend of foreplay. He's going to be there. So a bunch of folks there. Myself and Andrew are just doing like five days in Bermuda. And apparently it's a 54-hole stroke play event that I'm playing in that I even know about. You're playing it? Like, yeah, it's like a, it's like a, it's like a, it's like a stroke.
Starting point is 00:01:58 So you're in like a tournament. I mean, there's a cut. Is it, wait, so. You think you'll make the cut? It has nothing to do with partners, no match play, nothing. It's all solo. It's like your own solo stroke play. I think, I asked the guy, like, what is the cut?
Starting point is 00:02:13 Historically, what has it been? Do I have any chance of making this cut? And at first he's like, yeah, low 70s. And I was like, so no. So there's no point to be playing and trying to make, well, there's a point playing and not trying to make a cut. Then he's like, ha, I just can't. I think if you post a couple rounds in the low 80s, you'll make the cut.
Starting point is 00:02:26 So it's going to be like close. Yeah, man Did you so you didn't know this until recently? You know, like all of our All of our ad deals are all little different all you know It's like might be a cover this type of video or that episode or a read here or there And this one part of the deal was like rigs plays in the event
Starting point is 00:02:44 We're going to do a bunch of social around it so Andrew's going to be out there with me He's going to be essentially updating everyone like tiger tracker on how we're doing with like videos and pictures Yeah On the on the Bermuda Gosslings invitation where what course is this? So apparently Bermuda has the most golf courses per capita, like in the world. Really? Because it's a small island, and I guess there's like a dozen golf courses on it or something.
Starting point is 00:03:09 But Port Royal is one of them. It's supposed to be amazing. Mid-Ocean is another one. It's supposed to be amazing. And then the last one's like Belmont or something like that. I can't remember what the last one's called. But first round, I think we're playing Port Royal on, we're playing a practice round on Monday. Then a real round starts on Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:03:26 Then I think we go to mid. Are you like a pro-am guy? Are you going to have people, come out and play with you in the proam? I would love to. Like, I actually asked him today. I was like, can Andrew play in the proam with me as like a request? And they're like, we got to talk to the tournament director. Oh my God. But yeah, Monday's a practice round. We're going to fill, we actually have to like film a bunch of stuff. We're going to make a bunch of cool videos and whatnot. But Monday's a practice round. Tuesday, we're playing Port Royal. Wednesday were playing Mid-Ocean.
Starting point is 00:03:51 And then Thursday, if you make the cut is the other course. I can't remember the name. and if you don't make the cut, it's, you play a par three course, I guess, on Thursday. So regardless. It's an awesome event. This might be the most boondogly thing.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Yep. In the history of what we've actually done. The other times we go with like these pretty regimented like plans, content plans, what we're going to try to get out of it. And there's like kind of a pretty legitimate sole purpose. There is that with this, but it's actually like dictated by someone else who is just like,
Starting point is 00:04:21 no, we have this invitational and you're going to come drink rum and party and play these sick golf, for four days straight. So that's right after Thanksgiving. It's not a bad, not a bad deal. No, it's cool. And then we're going straight to Australia with you guys for two weeks.
Starting point is 00:04:33 So a lot happening. Lurch is making the Australia trip, too. He's not on this show. He's in Florida. I think he's back in Vero Beach. Couldn't get enough of Vero Beach, that guy. I get it. I love Vero Beach.
Starting point is 00:04:41 I'm a huge fan. You do love Vero Beach. I want to go back. I really do. It's a cool spot. There's a very cool spot. Why don't you go back? What the fuck?
Starting point is 00:04:52 What stop you? Why did you say that that way? You want to go? You want? Maybe I will. I think you should. I think I might. Have you thought about going back?
Starting point is 00:05:00 Not until just now. But like, if you really want to go, I don't you just go? I think I might. You're an adult? I am an adult. I love the ocean.
Starting point is 00:05:07 You and I had a nice lunch. What do you call it? On the coast? Yeah, you can call it on the coast, I guess. Okay. On the water?
Starting point is 00:05:16 On the water? We had lobster rolls. It was your first lobster all ever. I heard you came back and told Robbie Foxx that you're now a lobster. I've been telling everybody. People were shaming you from. for getting into lobster rolls in Florida. Yeah, well, those people can go fuck themselves because it's like,
Starting point is 00:05:29 I all my, further away from Maine. My DMs were just, yeah, my DMs were full of just guys being like, you fuck, come to Maine and eat lobster rolls. Yeah, you, Iowa, simple fuck. Yeah, like, I don't know, man, I was near water. I wanted a lobster roll. I agree. With them?
Starting point is 00:05:43 Lobster rolls, yes. No, with Trent. Okay. Anytime you see water, you can eat a lobster roll. I mean, it's year 2019. Yeah, and I didn't know that, like, I obviously knew that the New England states had a lot of like lobsters. and shit like that, but like I never crossed my mind that I'm going to put up this lobster
Starting point is 00:05:59 roll from Florida on my insta story and people that's just going to all hell is going to break loose in my mentions. What about clam chowder? Do you say Iowa's got like clam chowder or something? My mom makes a great clam chow. Yeah, that's right. I don't know that I can get behind that one. What does that mean though?
Starting point is 00:06:11 Yes, you can. Like, no one's going out and like scooping up the clams like in like I live in, uh, I live near oyster bay Long Island. You think like we have the best oysters compared to like a place that's, uh, 45 minutes away. Like, you're not going out and shuck it. oysters, you're just buying them from the fucking mass producing stores. I don't know. There's something to like the regional food being higher quality and more legit.
Starting point is 00:06:34 I can be honest, I didn't see Frankie going to bat for Iowa clam. I didn't either. I thought that was going to be a lay. I thought I was going to drag you right under my side. No problem. It's the same with steaks. Like, are they fucking killing these things in your backyard? No, it's getting shipped around.
Starting point is 00:06:47 The meat's all over the place. Yeah, but steak, you could fucking have a cow anywhere. Yeah, but like, it's not like the cows in like your town. Let me ask you this. What did you think of, I saw somebody tweeted this the other day, and a barstool person. Before you say that, I'm just going to make my final point. The only thing that the food that I think that is regional and makes a massive difference is pizza. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Well, that was the tweet I saw. The tweet I saw was like, there's no difference between New York and like all over the country. That's just incorrect. See, but why? What do you mean why? They're made differently. So like a clam chowder in Iowa can taste the same exact way as a clam chowder in New England. If you have the same ingredients, right?
Starting point is 00:07:22 Yeah. Like it's just clam chowder. There's no different ways to do it. Pizza, you can have thin crust. You can have the sauce on top. You can have no cheese at all. You can have the, you know what I mean? Like Chicago would do deep dish pizza compared to what I had.
Starting point is 00:07:35 I had a pizza at this place called sauce restaurant. It is my number one pizza in New York City. Yeah. I've heard about that place. You do go to bat for sauce. I'd like to try it. Sauce pizzeria is one thing. Sauce restaurant, which just reopened after they had a huge fire in their place.
Starting point is 00:07:50 We went and reviewed the place. this pizza at their restaurant tastes different than the one at the pizzeria. It is so thin. I actually thought I almost got a paper cut. But it also has so much flavor and the cheese is so good that it's thick. I don't know how to explain it. But you can't get that anywhere else, right? Like you go to fucking Iowa and they're going to serve you cardboard.
Starting point is 00:08:10 Like really thick, cheesy cardboard. Yeah. Well, no. It's better than that. But I get what you're saying. Like they just make it differently in the regions. And there's a lot of foods that are made differently based on the region. I feel like people would say that about clam chowder.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Correct. I was going to say like you would. The same argument's about any food. 100%. I don't think the disparity. I'm not a chef. There's different ways to make growing chowder. But the disparity cannot be as much as a pizza.
Starting point is 00:08:30 It can't be. Why not? You might be a little too close to it. You're a pizza guy. I think you are too. How could there be that much of a disparity between what a clam chowder is in any city? Well, you could say the same thing about pizza. No, you can't.
Starting point is 00:08:41 Why not? Why can't they just make it the way that you make it at sauce in fucking St. Louis? Because they can't. Why not? Because they don't have the water? They don't have the water? Yeah, New York pizza is different. Yes, everyone's shaking their head.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Yes, that's 100%. I get that the big theory is that, like, New York City Water is technically the best. That's why the pizza's the best. But like- That's why the bagels are the best, too. It's everything is everything. Do they literally, there's mass, mass-produced huge companies that take water from New York to make their, their dough and their bread? I don't think you, I don't think that it's makes any sense for you to have such a strong take one way and then also the other. Because I think making pizza is regional.
Starting point is 00:09:21 I think you can get a New England clam chowder anywhere. You just take it out of the fucking can. Campbell's can make it. You can't make pizza out of a Campbell's fucking can. You can't do it, guys. You can't make a pizza out of a Campbell's can. You can just take a fucking soup can, warm it up, and just pour it in a fucking bowl. Are we being serious right now?
Starting point is 00:09:40 Yeah, very serious. You're too close to it. You're a psychopath. You're losing your mind. If we cut out, if we took a bunch of helicopters, and we picked up Borelli's and we flew it all the way to see it. It would taste differently. And we put it down. You're saying it would taste different?
Starting point is 00:09:53 Yes, all the ingredients are different. No, it's not. It's the same building. No, the building means nothing. We get our produce from certain manufacturers. But then people are going to say the same thing about New England Clansdowners. Yes, they are.
Starting point is 00:10:03 I know they're going to. A soup can be replicated. Why? Why can pizza? It gets pizza. No, it's not. The dough has to rise. It's yeast.
Starting point is 00:10:12 There's like there's fucking science behind it. There's science behind it. No, there's not. Yes, there is. You can just put it in a can. My Campbell's soup. argument wins. You can just put it in a can
Starting point is 00:10:22 and dump it out and the fucking dogs. You can just make pizza the same fucking way that you make it a Borrelli somewhere else. Who's the guy? How?
Starting point is 00:10:27 How are you gonna do it? If the ingredients are slightly different, the taste is going to be miniscule different. Okay. If you just cook it the same way you have the same oven,
Starting point is 00:10:34 you have all the same BS, it's going to come out incredibly similar, just like you're talking about with the can and the soup and all that. Not every clam chowder is exactly the same.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Camels is not the same as like somebody's favorite clam chowder restaurant in Boston. It's not. It's better at one place. You can replicate it the same way. You can get really close in the same way you can get really close in replicating a pizza.
Starting point is 00:10:53 I don't think you can. Because you're too close to it. It's proven that you can. They have regional style pizza. They don't make it in those places. Colorado does not make a regional clam chowder. It's called New England clam chowder. But they can make new England chattahder anywhere.
Starting point is 00:11:06 But they can make new England chattahed out anywhere. They can make pizza anywhere. They can. They definitely can. They can make thin crust pizza anywhere. I think it's become regional because you fucks out here and I guess all fucks everywhere are like, no, our pizza's better when it's just like, that it's all the same ingredients,
Starting point is 00:11:19 and we're just baking, we're cooking it the same, and we all have all just decided that ours tastes better because we're from there. Correct. I feel the exact same way about Fertelli's pizza in St. Louis, but I don't just project that on to everyone. That pizza, all right, so St. Louis pizza is a perfect example.
Starting point is 00:11:32 There's a place called what, like Ian's. It's like little square crackers. It's like, little square crackers. I don't claim that that pizza is better than, like, a lot of the best pizza in New York. But like, no one else in New York makes that pizza. You can't replicate that pizza. We don't have, like, we don't have a place that has.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Because there's a regional style. What I'm saying is if you took, like, my favorite pizza place for Telly's Pizza, if you took exactly how they do it, their exact recipe and you did it at like a restaurant that have the exact same tools that just happened to be in New York, the pizza would come out incredibly similar. I mean, I think it's been proven that I can't because of like, I mean, I think scientifically, it's just taste differently in New York. That's just what it is. I don't think that's true.
Starting point is 00:12:04 Yes. I think you're confusing like regional preferences and differences with like an in, like an inability to replicate. That's just not true. I think because of what we have here. In Chicago, like, deep dish pizza is king. So, like, they don't go up there and cook the same thin crust pizza that we cook in St. Louis up there because that's not what's popular in Chicago. That's just, like, not what they choose to do.
Starting point is 00:12:22 They still have thick-cress pizza. They still have thin-crust pizza there. I've had things crust pizza in Chicago. But it's not what it's, like, known for. It's known for, like, the deep-dish pizza. It just tastes different. It tastes different. There's a difference between New York slice and Chicago slice.
Starting point is 00:12:34 It just is. That's just the way they taste. That's why they are what they are. There's just a difference in taste. How can you argue that? How can you say they taste the same? Because if you're saying is if you took the exact same restaurant and put it in Chicago from New York, I think you would think the pizza tastes identical to what it tastes like in New York at those same places.
Starting point is 00:12:48 Well, then, we disagree on that. Yeah, we disagree. How about that? I think that you can take the same ingredients in New England clam chowder, and you can take the same ingredients in a pizza, put them in two different states, and the pizza will taste vastly different than the New England clam chowder would in any state. Such a weird point to make is not a weird point. One comes out of a can.
Starting point is 00:13:02 How can it just be one food? Like, one food is the only one that that happens to be the only one that you specialize in. Right. Oh, weird. Evan's to me that was food. Because it's something that needs to be made with love. And like you have to... My mother's clam chatter is made with love.
Starting point is 00:13:16 But you have to like, with pizza, you have to like have certain like temperatures and everything has to be like a certain way. That's why it's different. But like the dough won't rise in certain, and like altitudes. It'll be different. In Colorado,
Starting point is 00:13:29 the pizza's different. My cousin's out in Colorado right now making pizza. He says it's much more different to process in making dough and making yeast and all this stuff than it is in New York. It just is. What about like, Maryland crab soup.
Starting point is 00:13:40 What does that fucking mean? Maryland crab soup. Maryland is known for its crabs. You can't get crabs, not from the Chesapeake Bay. That's Maryland crab soup anywhere else. Here's the big point that everyone's missing is that I think that you own a place that sells pizza. Supreme Golf.
Starting point is 00:13:56 Supreme Golf. You can have it all the other shit anywhere is what I'm saying. It tastes the same. Just not pizza. If you heard someone say that to you, you would fight them. Yes. Supreme Golf.
Starting point is 00:14:08 If you're not debating and arguing about pizza and clam chowder, you should be out of the golf course playing golf. I will be this week when I'm home. Supreme Golf's the way that I'm going to do it. SupremeGoff.com slash barstool. Get the T-time app. Go get it. Get that app.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Delete all the other T-time apps you have. You have them right now. Go into your little golf folder you got there. Cute little golf folder. Hold down on the app. You should go to Vero Beach right now. Until that X comes up and then just delete the other apps and make sure Supreme Golf is the only T-time app that you have.
Starting point is 00:14:36 They got the best deals. They got everybody. else that I just mentioned that you should be deleting. They're all under the spring golf umbrella. So if you just look up your tea times in spring golf, you're going to get all those other options, plus ones that spring golf has that the others don't. So get Supreme Golf, use it. They are the best.
Starting point is 00:14:51 Black Friday, we got a lot of new gear. We're kind of surrounded by it right now. My desk is covered in it. We got more new gear than we've maybe ever had coming out on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We got new hats, Travis Matthew hats. We got a white option. We got a charcoal option. We got these beanies or tukes, as you might call them.
Starting point is 00:15:07 So nice. Winter hats with the Barstool Golf logo on them with like a brown label. They're just really cool. Check them out. Black Friday midnight on Thanksgiving night. They're going to be available. We're going to have 20% off as like across the board. Is that what we do in our store?
Starting point is 00:15:23 So be ready for that. We got new polos. We got access. We got shoe bags from Seamus Golf. If you know Seamus Golf, they make really high quality stuff. We partner with them. We got golf shoe bags. We got T bags.
Starting point is 00:15:33 We got leather score card holders that I very much like. We got Bill Murray. stuff that we're throwing in there. We got our own logo golf balls finally. Yep. We finally got logo golf balls. Taylor made. After all this time, Taylor May, we got Vineyard Vineyard Vineyard's belts.
Starting point is 00:15:45 So again, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, be ready. Discounts. You're welcome. Storedabarshalsports.com. Okay. What should we start with? Everybody just, let's all just take a deep breath. I love you guys.
Starting point is 00:16:02 You know what it is. So many of you middle American. Okay. You're going to listen. You're emotional. That's your problem. You middle American losers are going to listen to this, and you're going to be like, oh, you're, you New York elitist with your pizza.
Starting point is 00:16:15 You know what? That's true. We don't talk like Cali Bros. That's true. We are New York elitist, and we do make pizza better than you do. Yours is based off of emotion. That's what you keep saying. And you keep saying, like, my mom makes it with love and that that's the different.
Starting point is 00:16:29 That is a garbage argument. It's not a garbage argument. I think that there's some, there's not capable of love. A legitimate. A legitimate. Are you going to say scientific? scientific reasoning to what I'm saying. I think that it can't be replic-can't.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I don't know that it's such a hot take to say that pizza can't be replicated from region to region as easily as New England clam chowder. I just don't know how it can't be, how you guys can't give me that sliver of a victory. We got to talk to. I don't know why. Blindfolded Rory versus Frankie, that was the debate on the last show. Here we go again. I just, I want to update people because a couple of good sources that we spoke to, weighed in on it.
Starting point is 00:17:07 my friend Stu Haggastad, who was low Am at the Masters a couple years ago, he thinks it'd be very close match. Justin Thomas, I asked him, and his reaction was absolutely no chance. He thinks he would have no chance. Dude, and J.T. and Rory are essentially, like, on the same way. I talked to so many people about this over the weekend. I'm sure you guys did the same. I don't know if it came up.
Starting point is 00:17:26 I never once saw anyone say it would be close. I think on a wide scale, people said he wouldn't be able to finish around. Like, I just don't know how you can. people made the point where like you'd go insane being blindfolded for four straight hours you'd go insane you'd go fucking insane not being able to see where the hell you're going you'd get like dizzy and throw up
Starting point is 00:17:45 that would be a factor which is not golf related that's just generally being right but we talk about that all time with like the if you got to play every single day yeah no it's a factor for sure it's definitely a fact I'd love to I don't know we could never do this maybe at some point like pull like the top
Starting point is 00:17:59 25 players in the world I'd love to know where they say because what it sounds like Stu obviously said it might be closed JT said it wouldn't be close, then they're in the same boat that we are. Like we pretty much had both sides of it on this podcast. It sounds like nobody knows. Yeah, and I was kind of debating it with JT
Starting point is 00:18:15 because obviously I'm strong on the side that Rory would be able to win. Because you kept saying he doesn't have to beat Rory as to be Frankie, but like at the same time, I can still make fives, fours and threes. And he's going to consistently, I think, make sevens, eights and nines. I just can never see him hitting balls consistently down and at the correct area where he's going to get the ball in the, hole in like a four or a three on a part three like there's just no way dude he can't see the ball
Starting point is 00:18:41 ever he will say this like that clip that's going revival again of like mj making a free throw with his eyes closed like i don't feel like that's any different that's crazy to me yeah i think those two things are very different same distance every time he can do that in his sleep like rory can that's swinging a driver it's the same thing i think it's so much different you have to hit a ball that you like you don't know where it is really he's holding a basketball he's like draining it in a hoop that he can't see the hoop or the ball that he's throwing. But he's like throwing something, right? You're not like hitting a golf ball.
Starting point is 00:19:14 That's like what he does. That's like what the golf swing is. I think it's different. I mean, no, I think it's different too. I can't. Like if you gave me an option to, and I know it's just me, but like I could throw blindfolded. I could throw a ball at something and like after a couple tries, I'll hit it much more than like me swinging at something. Overall, like the basketball movement is more.
Starting point is 00:19:35 repetitious. Repetition. And, like, it's just an easier thing to do. Shooting a basketball, I think, is much easier than swinging a golf club. I know we're talking about two of the people who are the best in the world at it. But I think it's just overall, it's very different. There are definitely different motions. But, like, we're talking about, well, one's repetition.
Starting point is 00:19:53 Like, that's literally what these guys do. But, like, there's never going to be a bunker in front of a basketball hoop. Like, he has no obstacles to go over with that blindfold. Like, the blindfold coming into play has nothing to do. the Rory's swing. He's always going to hit the ball. It's that he doesn't know where the ball is going once he makes contact and he has no idea what kind of trouble he's going to be in. And if he finds himself in trouble, he's never going to get out. Ever. Like a fairway bunker, imagine. What would he do? I don't like, I don't think that he would be worse at getting out of it than you
Starting point is 00:20:24 are. That's what I don't like get. I'm not like handicapped. I know like, I know, but like, mentally, I'm not like disabled. He just a chip over a bunker. He does. But that, but that's like, you're acting like you do that perfectly. He just has to do that better than you do. Or even close to similar. I'm to the level where I'd be able to get the ball over the bunker. So would he's. I have one of the best players of the world. But he's blindfolded. Right. So if the difference, if his argument is like the feel, like the feel is going to be off, okay, it's not going to be a perfect chip to an inch, but like he's still capable of chipping it up there, I think. He doesn't know where the ball's going. I don't know, man. But you don't get to like move the ball after
Starting point is 00:21:02 it's going. For someone that plays so much golf, it's crazy. to me that you can't see that him being blind would make him an horrendous golfer. He'd be way worse. He'd go from shooting mid-60s to, like, I think, around 90. You think he's a good match? You think he'd be a good match? You think Rory Macroy breaks 90 being blind? I think he could.
Starting point is 00:21:19 We need him to play one hole. Just play one hole so we can see what it looks like. Agreed. You don't have to do 18 because we would love to see you do 18 against Frankie, but just do one. JT, just do one. Just so we can know what it would look like. And then we can extrapolate it out to 18.
Starting point is 00:21:35 Agreed. I think he'd 200 and 30. He'd make nines on every hole. There'd be so many times where he hits the back of the green and he'd be putting forever. He'd put forever to get the ball in that little hole. He has no idea where it is. He has no idea what you have to look, man. The caddy can line you up as much as you want.
Starting point is 00:21:55 You have to paint the picture. You have to hit to the picture. You can't see the picture, Riggs. You can't see it. I get that it would be difficult. That's why I think he's like 30 shots worse than he is in reality. All right. You have to take three steps here and just hit it 15 paces and then it's going to, it's like
Starting point is 00:22:11 you're never going to get the ball in the hole. It's just impossible. It's also like when we played like we played Pioneer's number two or Pioneer's number like four from like 6,300 yards. I think you'd put Rory Macaroid blindfolder from 6300 yards. Like I think he could shoot around 90. I really don't think that the yardage would have anything to do with that. I think he'd still.
Starting point is 00:22:29 I mean, I do. like he's pretty fucking close to the hole. If he can, if he can get his driver going like, He's going to just be pretty close to the green every time. Every time. Oh, man. There's no way. He's blind.
Starting point is 00:22:41 Like, he's blind. I get that that's a hard thing to think about. I don't think it is. I think it's pretty cut and dry. I think he's blind as fuck. He's a blind guy. There's also a blind golfer who would, like, beat us. But a blind golfer.
Starting point is 00:22:52 But if the two, if one guy's the best player, like, in the world, and then there's also true that, like, a blind golfer can play pretty good golf, then, like, somewhere they come together. It's not like, preposter. That's wrong, no, dude. Like the best, there's probably a best blind baseball player of all time, right? And if you just took out Mike Trout's eyes, he's not hitting the baseball. He's not.
Starting point is 00:23:12 He has never done it in his entire life. That's against someone. You're just staying there hitting a ball that's not moving and golf. But I'm saying there's someone moving pitches around and stuff. There's the best blind person in everything. It's because they know how to do it. Like the best blind person is the best blind person doesn't shoot 150. I'm saying they shoot like a score like we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:23:28 Yes. And they've been doing it and they know how to do it because they are blind. Right. So there's some convergence though. Like one person is the best in the world at golf. And I think they become the worst in the world and take their eyes away. So it's like, okay. It's not impossible is what Trent's saying.
Starting point is 00:23:43 No, I think it takes years and years and years of like not being able to see anything and being like and your senses and all this stuff. And you get used to not seeing fucking the world. You just take it away from Ori and you're like, all right, here's one of your senses that are just gone that you like, you need. They're just gone. I would love a film on the first T blindfold. He just ripped one down the middle. He probably would. He probably would.
Starting point is 00:24:04 And I'd make a six and he'd make an eight. It'd be so awesome. I just want to touch on this real quick. Golf.com top 100 course rankings came out. I've seen this everywhere, especially our friend Link's Jims is like doing a whole thing on a bunch of the top 100. Pine Valley's number one. I just feel like we have to mention that because it's so crazy to me that Pine Valley's always number one.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Like, nobody knows anything about it. I know like we talked about that video on YouTube. Yeah. I think Golf Digest did where, like, you can go look at every single hole. I think they had drone footage of every single hole, which is really unique and rare, and that had never been out there before. But, like, it's a Parkland course that's apparently super hard with bunkers everywhere and, like, force carries and stuff everywhere.
Starting point is 00:24:49 It's not like ocean views. It hasn't had a bunch of U.S. opens, never has tournaments. It's got, like, the Crump Cup and all that, but even that's, like, exclusive and not talked about that much. Yet it's always the number one course in the world. world. Crazy. In the world.
Starting point is 00:25:05 I think because no one knows about it, that's why. It's the allure of like not knowing. It has to. If it was public, it wouldn't even. Yeah, I have a take of like, if we went out and played the top 500 course in the world and then we had to rank them, like, I don't know the pie of that would be in our top like 20. Right. Now, I've never played it. So that's, that's just a bold, like, hypothesis.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I have nothing else basing that off of. But it's like. Yeah. It's almost like you're, you're, they've like. pigeoned everyone into saying it's the best close in the world. And then if you don't say it, you like don't know anything about golf. Right. Kind of love that though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:40 They have. They've manipulated it. It's like New Yorkers with pizza. Yeah. Threatened people. What did you say? It's like New Yorkers with pizza. Yeah, it is. You just say it's the best. It is. You guys yell at us. We're like, fine. I don't feel like standing here for 25 more minutes. Arguing about it. Correct. You just, it's a war of attrition. We have passion. That's why they call it a Bronx cheer.
Starting point is 00:25:58 You know, we like boo our own players. Could it really be the waters that much better? It changes everything. It's so much better. See, and then you guys say that and I'm like, okay. We've got to pizza places out of state where like the guys are like New York pizza and this one guy, I can't remember what fucking state we're in because we've done 718 pizza reviews.
Starting point is 00:26:13 But one of them, the guy literally ships in water from New York to make his pizza better. That feels Pine Valley to me. It does. That water is Pine Valley. It's just like, oh, there's something about it. We just always hear about it and we're just going to keep hearing about it. And if you try to go against it, people to yell you. This is why I don't drink it like out of the tap because it's like made for
Starting point is 00:26:32 cooking. Like, it's like, you know, it's got things in it that make it food taste better. That doesn't make any sense. Yeah, I just think that much better and makes cooking how much better? It would be like better than oil. I don't drink cooking ingredients. I look at water as like a cooking ingredient. I don't need cooking oil to live.
Starting point is 00:26:48 Cooking oil doesn't keep me on this. I was just trying to tie a boat. I don't get like de-cooking oil. I get like dehydrate. You got to have water. I got water bottles. I ran out of water again last night, ran to the store. It just comes right out of the tap.
Starting point is 00:27:02 Right. It's the best in the, it's so good. It makes all the food better. I literally made a noise. I went, ah, fuck, I ran out of water again. God forbid if, you know, if only it came out of the faucet in your kitchen. So Pine Valley's number one. Just kind of going through, I wanted to go through some notables that I put in there.
Starting point is 00:27:18 Pioneer's number two, 16th highest ranked golf course in the world by golf.com. Piner's number two. 16th ranked golf course. Also, another one that feels like you better put it high because it's Pioneer's number. Yeah. The Pioneer's number four is better. Right. Yeah, like we enjoyed Pioneer's number four better.
Starting point is 00:27:34 It's a better golf course. But you do. You feel like you've got to get pressured into being like, oh, no. Donald Ross and the architecture and the history. So many people that asked me about our trip were like, oh, what was your favorite course? I'm like number four. They're like, what? What about number two?
Starting point is 00:27:45 It's like, dude, don't do that. Like, I like the history and all that, but that doesn't have anything to do with how nice number four was. I like Tobacco Road, maybe a little bit more. Yeah, I would say Pyneur's number two is my third favorite course of the trip. Yeah. I think it went number four, Tobacco Road and number two for me. Yeah. But again, like pyrus number two is awesome.
Starting point is 00:28:02 Really cool. It is really cool. But it's not, I just, like, that Pyrus number two has, I think it's just a little bit better. It's also more distinguishable. Like the number four, the holes are more distinguishable. I was thinking about that. I was thinking about that. I was thinking about that.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Can't remember half of them. Piner's number two. You can't remember half of them because they all are like, they kind of blend together. They remember number five, like number one, number 18, like everything else in between. Yeah, like two, three, I feel like we're pretty similar. Four was a cool hole. But like, even you start getting into like seven and eight felt like I don't even know. which one was which there's like a part four and a par five out there I don't know which one was
Starting point is 00:28:33 which it's just like again we're not shooting on piner's number two no it's just I think people get pressured into certain and it's and then it's almost like well you don't understand and appreciate the architecture like Donald Ross what's the criteria for a list like that you know I think they have all these different numbers that they give to certain um aspects of it and then they add them up and whatever the number is that's it because I saw there's like a tie at like 77 so the only way to get to a tie had to be like they have a number system or something Right, right. But again, to go back to, like, you get pressured into being like, you don't appreciate this or that.
Starting point is 00:29:04 It's like, you know what I do appreciate? Like, I play a lot of golf all the time. I love golf. I'm kind of right in that sweet spot handicap-wise where, like, not the best player in the world, like, not the worst, kind of enjoy it. It can hit the ball around a little bit. And, like, I'm just telling you what I prefer to play. That's, like, as simple as the rankings are. They don't need to be more difficult.
Starting point is 00:29:22 And if I play better there, I'm going to rank that way high. Aaron Hill's number one golf course in the world. And that's a thing that's hard not. to include no matter who you are. I like the crazy golf courses. Chambers Bay, Tobacco Road. That's where, like, I just think it's cool. I think if you have to go somewhere to experience the type of golf course,
Starting point is 00:29:41 that's where you're going to get me to rank mine in my top 10. Yeah. Like, if it's just, you know, like, I don't know. I don't explain that part. You know what I mean? Like, it's got to be something so different where it's like, oh, you had to go to Chambers Bay to play Chambers Bay. You can't get that anywhere else.
Starting point is 00:29:55 Like, it's not just a regular golf course. It's something that's like, like, Bayonne. It's like it's only, there's only one type of course that's like that. It's Bayonne. You know what I mean? Agreed. You would love mammoth dunes in Wisconsin. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:06 That's like David McLeague kid course and it's like all these crazy bowls and undulations and the ball doesn't finish even close to where it landed because it's, it's taking all these hills and that's to me like I love that kind of golf too. And actually that's like one of the things I did actually love about piders number two was like around the greens that that happens a lot. But I just didn't think teeter green it like stood out that much. So like, yeah. And then like Pebble Beach.
Starting point is 00:30:26 You can't replicate that. When you're walking down like. Like four, five, six, seven, eight. You can't replicate Pebble Beach. You just can't. It's heaven. And then like you, like, even the courses around it, MPCC is incredible.
Starting point is 00:30:37 But like, you can also get that feel at, um, spyglass, like that same type of feel. Like, you can do that in multiple places. You can't replicate the cliff, the cliffs at Pebble Beach. So that's why that would be higher from me. You know what I mean? Like it's always like wherever you leave planet Earth, I feel like in your brain. We're like, where the fuck am I? That's how I do it.
Starting point is 00:30:54 I don't care about the history and the way the T-boxes are angled. and shit. Like, just give me something that I'm going to take Instagram pictures about. That's my take. Yeah, be wowed. Yeah. I agree with that. I'm very much in the same boat.
Starting point is 00:31:08 And it's like, what's really cool about Mike Strance and what they kept talking about at Tobacco Road was like the fact that he was able to take that same type of terrain area and turn it into something that felt like it was like Chambers Bay or something. Yeah. Where you're kind of like, what the fuck planet are we on here? It's not for everybody.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Like some people bitch about that. And they want like, they want, you know, tree line, fairways, dog, big left, right, you know, tight narrow fairways, long rough, and that's just what they prefer. That's not how we are, I guess. No, I mean, there are amazing courses like that.
Starting point is 00:31:35 Like, we played Aldera, and I think the tree, I mean, even though he said it wasn't tree line, which was insane. The trees there, like, are captivating where you're like, that's an, oh, shit type of course. You see the mountains in the background. Like, that's awesome. I'm sure there's a ton of golf courses like that. Pasta Tempo had some great trees. Positienpo has, like, has a really cool look to it.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Yeah, it did have a good mix. Yeah. Positiemo's got the Alastairma McKinsey Greens that were wild. Like the green we did the video on 16 where there were like five different sections of that green. Yeah. Where you could be putting there all day long. Yep. The only course that goes against what I'm saying right now that is my top and it's just because I've grown up playing it is Bethpage Black.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Like I think you can replicate Beth Page Black anywhere. You just get a huge lot of land, make it really long and, you know, there's not much elevation to it. It's just like straight away. Yeah, but I think that he, like they did such a good. job of carving that through what does feel like natural like New England topography. Do you know what I'm saying? Like when you, when you're going through like the fourth hole, for example, like that hole, that par five, that page black, that is one of the greatest holes in the world.
Starting point is 00:32:43 I mean, I have that printed out like in my room. Like you're not going to get me to complain about that. I just think that like, you know what? It's a course that I think can be replicated is what I'm saying. You don't need cliffs. You don't need like the crazy. Like you're never going to be able to get like the dunes and stuff like that there. You can, it's just tea to green.
Starting point is 00:33:03 It's just a monster. Yeah, but I would say that's like the artistry of being able to take like what feels like maybe type of terrain that's in a lot of different places and turn it into, I mean, they ranked it here as like the 53rd best golf course in the world. Yeah. In the world. So you're right that like it does go a little bit against what you're saying in that it's not a place that could only exist like Pebble Beach on the cliffs. Correct. But then that's where I think all the architecture geeks would come in and be, no, no, that's like what we've been talking about.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Right. Is that someone can build Bethpage Black in the middle of a gigantic state park that feels like, like they could have easily built a golf course that you would never even know. Like you would never remember. It would feel like every other golf course you ever played. I mean, but they built Beth Page Black. Beth Page Red is right next to it. Like, and you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:33:46 Right. And it's just not even close. Yeah, and the blue and all that. Like, even like red. Yeah, right. And I've played Red and like people try to rave about how Red's really good and all that. It's like, it's a joke compared to Beth. It's a joke.
Starting point is 00:33:57 So, yeah, it's just kind of interesting going through these. We have a bunch of courses from our upcoming trip are in there. Kingston Heath, which is the one-pop private track that we're playing in Melbourne. 22nd ranked course in the world. Wow. Barnbougal Dunes, 35th ranked course in the world. Cape Wickham, which we may or may not be playing yet. We don't know.
Starting point is 00:34:19 60th ranked course in the world. And Barm-Bougal Lost Farm, 89th ranked course in the world. I just love saying Bar Mbougal. Barnbogle. You made yourself a little prediction over the weekend about myself. You think I'm going to break 100. So me and Lurts were talking about Trent Daddy's game. Put a lot of pressure on me.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Because a lot of people ask. Like, how's everybody's games? They like, what's it like playing golf with the boys and all those are fans or the listeners or whatever? And I was thinking like, man, Trent Daddy is close. And the last round that we really played, I mean, I know that the there was a lot going on at the Palmetto round. Yeah. A lot going on. But the last round that we played, like the four played boys played together.
Starting point is 00:34:53 other, you shot like a 103 with a 9 in the first hole. Yep. So I think if we're playing a handful six, seven, eight, nine rounds that we're going to be playing in Australia, it's going to be nice temperature. I think it's going to be in the 70s or maybe even 80s one day. I think Trent Daddy, you're driving the ball well. I think you're really going to, I think you're going to do it. I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:35:14 You know, I feel good. I feel good about my game. Yeah. You know what I need to do? Kevin Kisner tried to help me with my irons when we play Palmetto. The round, like right before the round, we were on the range, and he helped me with my irons. That's when I was talking about how many knuckles I had a lot of people hit me up. Two knuckles.
Starting point is 00:35:31 That's what he said I should be able to see. I should be able to work on that at a range. And if I can implement that and have it work during any round out in Australia, we're really talking about definitely dipping into the case. How about you stop dancing around it? And why don't you just fucking guarantee you're going to break 100? Give the listeners what they want. Guarantee it. Grab your fucking grundle right now.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Put it on the table and say, I'm going to break 100 in Australia. run to the table. I'm going to break 100 in Australia. That's what you're going to do it. Now we got something to look forward to. I'm going to do it. You're going to fucking do it. I know I'm going to do it.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I appreciate it. Come on. That's a guarantee. I guarantee I'm going to break 100 in Australia. That is so excited. I really, you're right there. I am right there.
Starting point is 00:36:11 And I saw your tweet and as soon as I saw it, I said, that's right. That is right there. It's actually it made me, I was stunned. You didn't do it in the North Carolina trip. I was too. I was sitting around thinking about it right before I put that tweet. I was like, I wouldn't go into that trip. I thought this is it because you've been so close,
Starting point is 00:36:26 Aaron Hills and all that. Even some other rounds have been in the low, like one teens or something like that, which like that's not, that's a couple holes where you blew up and you're right there. If you, if you had asked me after the first hole at Palmetto, am I going to break it 100 today? I would have said yes. Because I had a good iron shot.
Starting point is 00:36:42 I made a five. Frankie made a nine. Yeah, I was just like being next to me, watching me explode, definitely made you feel better. You're up four on me. And then my drive on three went into traffic and maybe killed someone. We haven't really checked in on it. No, it sounded like it did. And it all fell apart.
Starting point is 00:36:54 But I know if I can just keep it going, if I can just keep my head down and just be like, all right, there's a five, a six is okay, a five, maybe a seven, a five. You just keep going, I'm going to be good. I'm going to do it. Yeah, you have the rule of five's is your game. Yeah, Lurch got that in my head. If you do that every hole, you make a, you shoot 90. You didn't have your strokes were coming on, just you couldn't gauge the distance on your putting.
Starting point is 00:37:17 You were knocking the balls off. You were de-greening. And maybe, I would assume so that these greens won't be as treacherous. of like, I mean, Pioneers number two is the most treacherous, like, de-greening type greens you're going to face. I did it a bunch. You did it a bunch. Four's up there, too, with what Gilhans did.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Like these courses, I'm sure, being the number 22 course in the world, it's going to be extremely difficult. But I think, like, if they're not known for their types of greens like that with, like, the false fronts and stuff, like you're going to save strokes there. For sure. That you didn't have at Piner's. I feel good.
Starting point is 00:37:46 I feel very confident going. You know, we're going to be sipping on this whole time while we're down there? What's that? Truly hard seltzer. Yep. Yeah, I had a bunch. I brought a bunch of over from the office this past weekend. I brought in the tropical pack,
Starting point is 00:37:56 which is pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and the brand new watermelon kiwi. I'm going to tell you, they're a hit. I told the story from the bachelor party a week ago, but we went out, got a ton of booze, a couple 30 racks, and then we got like six cases of truilies. I mean, before the 30 racks were even halfway gone,
Starting point is 00:38:13 the truels were completely demolished. They had been deleted. They had been eliminated. Everyone's begging where the hell all the truels go. Riggs, are you hoarding them? Are you hiding them somewhere? Nope. They were just the most popular drink there because they're delicious.
Starting point is 00:38:26 They're only 100 calories. They're 5% ABV. Only one gram of sugars. It gives you a perfect amount of alcohol while keeping calories low. My actual favorite pack is the berry pack, which comes of wildberry, blueberry, raspberry, and black cherry. So go get yourself some truly hard seltzer. It'll change the way that you look at your little nights drinking,
Starting point is 00:38:46 the little nights indulging, enjoying yourself. And it's going to keep it to 100 calories, 5% ABV. They got the citrus pack, the berry pack, the tropical pack. Get involved. Get yourself some truly hard seltzer, the official sponsor of the Barstool Classic this year. Thank you for that. And they're just a big hit. Everyone has introduced them for the first time, and they were hooked.
Starting point is 00:39:06 They're big fans of truly. I'm a big fan of truly. Get yourself some truly hard seltzance. Nice. You almost can't do it without saying that. And then I would like to give a shout out to my boys at Cabot. They got Cabot Cliffs as the 43rd rank course on the list, which is actually a joke.
Starting point is 00:39:20 It should be number one. and Cabot Links is the 82nd highest ranked course on the list. They have two courses. That's hard to do. I saw Link's Jim said like only five or six different places had multiple courses. Barnboogles is one of them. Cabot's one of them. I think like Bannon has like three or four courses on there.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Did you crunch the numbers on how many of you played? No. I did not. Barnbogle, man. I can't get over that name. I'm definitely, yeah, I want some Barnbogle merch. Sounds like you're... Bond boogel.
Starting point is 00:39:50 It sounds like you're playing that game. where you try and get the ring on top of the bottles and like it's just bouncing bar and boogle. I think of, now that you said that, I think of Crash Bandicoot. What? I don't know. Banned, Crash Bandicoot.
Starting point is 00:40:02 I love Crash Bandicoot. I love it. I love it. I bought the reboot for PlayStation 4 and had all three games inside it. You literally was standing in his little like cave and then you got to choose like Crash 1, crash two, crash three.
Starting point is 00:40:13 You're going down with the polar bears. Yeah. Oh man, what a great game. The places with multiple courses on the list, Wingfoot, Bandin, Bar Mugel, Cabot, And Sunningdale Golf Club. What's Sunningdale?
Starting point is 00:40:25 Sunningdale, I don't know really anything about, but I do know that. Sounds like people go on a trip, a family trip to Sunningdale, and they stay in a cabin. It's like they go there every year, they go by the lake. There are so many golf courses. Isn't it crazy how many amazing golf courses there are? I'm playing a golf course over Christmas break at Atlantis Resort. Oh, you are? Yeah, I am.
Starting point is 00:40:47 You're getting out there. I am getting out there. It's going to be fun. It's called like the Ocean Club. or Ocean Golf Club. Probably on the ocean. Place looks sick. I'm going to lose every single ball that I bring.
Starting point is 00:40:58 I think it's just like water and then there's a little bit of grass in between. How many are you bringing? What's the number you need to bring down here? I'll probably play one or maybe two rounds. I'll probably bring 12 golf balls. You think that's not enough? It seems light. Really?
Starting point is 00:41:11 I think everyone listening is going. 12 golf? It might be a trip to the pro shop. That's a lot of fun. You should only be allowed to take 12 and then if you lose them all, you have to stop playing. Fine by me. I'll go. back to the cabana baby i don't know true you're not exactly in hell or somebody has to video you
Starting point is 00:41:27 going back into the pro shop of the turn and buy it hard off like when i had to go back into the pro shop to get a new belt because you heard too but i think i was wrong on that so i'm a 30 i'm now a 33 pants size and i bought a 33 belt and apparently supposed to go two up so i was supposed to get 35 or 36 36 but you've previously been wearing 33's i've been wearing 32s oh boy you know, sedentary lifestyle. Dude, if I will go from a 32 belt
Starting point is 00:41:57 to a 36, that means I'm like clinically, like, not okay. I mean, yeah, you're, you're in an alert territory there. Yeah, me and Lurch. You come up with us.
Starting point is 00:42:05 I have up with the big boys. All right, here we go. We were at Rough and Routy the other day. I survived. Thank you very much with my shoulder, everyone.
Starting point is 00:42:11 Yeah, I know that new device now. Yeah, it's still painful. There's no way about, there's no two of us about it. It's not like it's just like, it's just like,
Starting point is 00:42:17 it's just like, cool, the whole thing's insane. How about this? I weighed myself during the wayans. How much you think I weigh? If you had to guess. Wow.
Starting point is 00:42:26 I'm 5.11, 6 foot with pants with our shoes on. I thought you were like 6 foot with pants on. I am saying. So I'm like, I'm no joke like 5.11 and a half. Like when I go to the, when I go get sized at the sizing store, they'll make sure they'll make sure I take my shoes off and then I'm a little six foot. But I think like right now, maybe 6 foot. Yeah, I was, I got a physical a couple months ago.
Starting point is 00:42:48 511 and 3 4th. Dude, that's what I am. Every time I go, we're all literally the same mind. I would go, you know, when I get a physical for football and I'd be like, what am I? And I'd be like, come on, let's be 6 foot this time. And they would never give it to me.
Starting point is 00:43:01 511 and 3 4th. 511 and 3 4th. It sucks because Lurchase favorite insults is to call me a sub 6 footer. Damn. I mean, technically is correct. Right. I do think you have to round up.
Starting point is 00:43:09 So if anybody ever asked, I'm like, I am 6 foot. I don't think that's like a wrong thing to do. Yeah, I think I'm a sub 6 footer. But yeah, we're right there. We're so close. We're way taller than the average male, though. So I weighed myself. I was wearing a T-shirt, jeans, and shoes.
Starting point is 00:43:21 What do you think it was? T-shirt, jeans, and shoes. I'm trying to think of what you weighed when I... 176. 169. 174.5. Andrew is saying it way higher, by the way. Way higher.
Starting point is 00:43:36 What a dick. I have a huge gut, but aside from that. Yeah, you had to fill it out on that one, the site. Yes. Belly. that's that's all right what do you think about that I think it's fine I just think I'm getting a little doughy
Starting point is 00:43:50 you know dolier than you've been I don't know if it's the job and the stress and all that stuff like I mean the last three years have been crazy man I've been going through it he's pinching his nose right now it could be like diet and not exercising now rubbing his eyes
Starting point is 00:44:05 the last three years been insane man crazy I feel like I've lived for 20 years at bars you age like a president here everybody does but you also yeah you put a I look back to the first picture that when I walked in, boy, I look different. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed? I'm, I still look like a little child right now, you know.
Starting point is 00:44:23 But I was just like skinnier. Like I had like definition of my face. And now I'm just like, dude, sometimes I open up the Snapchat and like it'll just be on me. And I go, there's no fucking way on that. There's no fucking way that that's who I am. I'm wearing a fat suit. You know that angle though? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:43 Oh, yeah. Dude, imagine what I look like in that. It's bad. Dude, everybody's done. Yeah, we're looking at a video of Frankie's intern interview. He's wearing a white-colored shirt and a Hawaiian lay. Yeah. Well, what I will say is you look so different without your hat on.
Starting point is 00:44:57 And we just put out a Kevin Kisner video of us at his charity event. And you didn't wear a hat because we were at a very nice place, Sage Valley. And it was, you just look different with a hat off than you do on. Much different. More feminine. Yeah. Yeah. I have a feminine forehead.
Starting point is 00:45:12 Yeah, more like Rachel. out. Yes. Without that. Yes. There's no doubt about that. You're doing great. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:45:20 You know what? It's about, it's holiday season and a great gift to give, maybe the best gift to give, is Peter Mollar apparel. Now, we just talked about our sizings. There's nothing more important than being comfortable, having the right size, having good pants, good quarter zips, good shirts that fit right when you're out there playing golf, whether you're at work, especially when you're playing golf, you have enough problems. All right? You have enough problems. head at the ball straight. You might feel like you're blindfolded out there.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Maybe you can't put, maybe you can't chip, maybe you suck out of bunkers. You're thinking about a million different things. What you don't want to be thinking about is like, am I comfortable, I uncomfortable? Is this too tight? Is it too baggy? Does it look good? Peter Mular, they have the best gear, top to bottom, head to toe, from their Perth quarter-zips to their performance pants. The Satin, that's my maroon one.
Starting point is 00:46:07 I think it's called Asaii. The Satine Asaii Pants. I've been rocking those in a couple of videos. People are going crazy. I'm giving you the recommendation on what that is. What are people going crazy? They're responding. Where do I get those pants?
Starting point is 00:46:18 Those pants. That's what they're doing. It's exactly what they're doing. I can hear them screaming through Twitter. I had somebody in my DMs yesterday being like, I like those dark blue pants that you wore. I'd like to see them on the floor. Hey, Trent, Danny, what are those bright blue pants look like on the floor? Rinkled up.
Starting point is 00:46:37 No, it's like, it's whenever I don't get really that wrinkled. I mean, whenever I put on a pair of pants that isn't khaki, people, are like, holy shit, what's happening here? And you're putting on some of the best other pants are options. Crazy good that you can put on. They're so comfortable. They're so comfortable.
Starting point is 00:46:55 They look great. Go to petermalar.com slash four. You can see a bunch of our favorites. You get yourself a little deal on there. Petermilar.com slash four gifts for your dad, for your brother, for anyone in the family. Gift for yourself. Treat yourself. Go to petermalar.com.
Starting point is 00:47:10 Check out all their latest styles. are going to love them. I want to talk about the young boss man. So this video that I tweeted about earlier, I saw this making the rounds on Twitter, where they asked him, what do you want Santa Claus to bring you? His answer,
Starting point is 00:47:24 he thinks about it for a while, thinks about it for a while, and he just says if he could bring me a one iron and a two iron. What a psychopath? A one and a two iron? I just didn't see it coming when I was watching the video. I thought, what is this going to,
Starting point is 00:47:37 he's going to say a golf ball or a whole one or a one iron. Nobody, nobody. He does a smirk. Everyone's got to go watch this clip. He does this little smirk and it just looks like Tiger now. It does. He does this little like this little smirk and this raising of the eyebrow at the end. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Nobody. He's a robot. On the planet wants a one iron or two. I don't care how delusional of a child you are. Like, you know, say a fucking toy or say something. A video game. Say a putter. Even putting is fun as a kid.
Starting point is 00:48:11 A couple of hybrids. It's not a one. Even as a kid, you go to the mini golf, the putt, putt, you have a good time? Pudding, fine, say putter. A one iron or two iron? Who the fuck wants a one iron and two iron? That's crazy. Crazy.
Starting point is 00:48:23 And then at the end of the video, he just stripes an iron right next to the pin. It's like two years old. Look at that swing. Oh, it's perfect. You think Earl set that whole thing up, staged that whole video? He had to have. Nobody, that's not, you can't have a genuine desire. When's his book coming out?
Starting point is 00:48:39 I don't think we'd have a date on it. It was just a, it was an ambiguous. tease that he did. So he said, I'm going to write the book. Yeah. So I'm going to write this book. Hasn't even been written yet. No. No. No. No. It just said, I'm going to set the record straight. I will be writing a book. Great.
Starting point is 00:48:56 Probably to shut down all the other, like to stop the sales on all the other books. You and I, like Frank, we could just make, we could say the same. We could just release. I will write a book. Yeah. A public release. You asked a question about whether Earl Wood's set up like, should you say all like one or two? I don't think so. The way he delivers that, he wants
Starting point is 00:49:12 a one and a two iron. He wants them. He's like, I want to master this. And he kind of laughs. He's like, give me those. And then there's a video of him mastering. It's also him being like so cocky at his age. Right.
Starting point is 00:49:23 He knew he was like, like he thought of the two hardest clubs to hit and he's like maybe a one iron and two iron. And he gives you that look like you said like I'm going to fucking roast these balls when I get him. That's the line. Like not even God can hit at one iron. Like when you said one iron and two iron, he smirks like, yeah, you know why I want it. Because I'm going to fucking be the best golf revolts.
Starting point is 00:49:42 I think it's Earl taught him when he was like two. Like, hey, if you can learn how to hit those ones and two, like, all these nine irons are hitting tight, that's great. If you can learn to have striped those ones and two irons, no one can do that. He's like, I need those fucking things. Tiger Woods. How old do you think he is in that? Look at that look. That is exactly what he looks like now.
Starting point is 00:49:59 That's like when he makes a little, when he makes like a little wise crack, one of his little dad jokes, that's the same look he gives now. Every press conference he's got one and, you know, sometimes it falls on. Or that's like what his face looks like after he picked himself at the press on there. It's just really tough Just one iron or two iron Really tough What's the course like today? It's just really tough out there
Starting point is 00:50:20 I was doing that around people I don't know if it was last weekend or two weeks ago I was doing that around people who don't know golf And then they just weren't appreciating the tiger You're like do you guys know what's happening It was just really tough It's really tough Oh really really tough
Starting point is 00:50:34 Basketball time Basketball time It's like the funniest thing he said to us when we met him. We met Tiger Woods at Pebble Beach, I didn't know. And after we were done, I tried to say,
Starting point is 00:50:48 who do you like tonight? Well, first he goes basketball time. And he started backing up from us because the warriors were playing in the championship. And I tried to murder the words, who do you like tonight? And I couldn't. So Trent then said,
Starting point is 00:51:02 who do you like tonight? He said, not my Lakers. Not my Lakers. The basketball time stunned me initially. Basketball time. The many times I was stunned. I thought he was in a little.
Starting point is 00:51:12 I thought he made his to go shoot hoops. Yep. It was like I just practiced putting for, you know, 45 minutes. Basketball time. Brushable time. And I'm going to go to shoot hoops. Like, all right, man,
Starting point is 00:51:22 go ahead. It was a series of him stunning Trent. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Just everyone was a body blow. One two punches in chin. But I had to,
Starting point is 00:51:29 you know, I had to pick up the slack for you on the, who, who he got tonight? He was so me. You genuinely heard me try and say it, right? Yeah. And you stole it.
Starting point is 00:51:36 Because there was a, because there was a beat there was like, it was my turn to speak. Yes. You said the thing to him. You said, how about the Masters, huh? And then you fucking did the station thing. It was my turn to say something.
Starting point is 00:51:48 And I tried to say, who do you like tonight? But I, it was literally like when you meet someone, I'd be speechless. I wouldn't know what to say. That's what it was. Literally. I also got off a couple that's awesoms. You did say that's awesome. Many times.
Starting point is 00:52:00 I went back and rewatch it. I give him an incredible handshake. And I hold on for a little bit longer than I think he was anticipating. I'm not kidding. You can't see my face when I go in and do it. Is this right? Oh, man, it's a great, it's a long handshake. It's, I do three or four up and downs.
Starting point is 00:52:18 I, uh, I actually don't go back and watch this all that often because it's so. Whoa. That was like four up and down. Watch this one, two, three, four. Five six. Dude, it's six up and down. It's the longest. How have I never noticed that before?
Starting point is 00:52:33 I don't know. I don't know. Riggs is normal. I'm pretty quick. Very quick. Watch this one, two, three, four, five, six. What is that? I never want to let go, man. I get it, bro.
Starting point is 00:52:42 I never wanted to let go. I get it, Tiger fucking. There was like even a, the second half of that, you like pulled him back in. Like, no, no,
Starting point is 00:52:48 we're not done yet. I really did. There's him melting my brain. It'll never get old. It will never get old. But I really haven't watched. Look at him just tossing around the Scotty. Your brain is just in a puddle.
Starting point is 00:53:02 Not because I am stunned by him, you know, melting my brain so many times. But it's just like still can't believe that it happened. You know? Him. The initial. walk look at you look how happy frankie is him twirling scotty around in our faces and us not even
Starting point is 00:53:17 realizing that till like a couple months ago the scottie's incredible the initial walk is just like here he comes there comes tiger woods bang oh that's just tiger wood here comes frank his hand here comes brings in never to leave the seat it is way more than i remember i did i've never seen that version of that like i've never focused on that part of the video no it's i think you pick up something new every time. You pick up something new every time. Tiger Woods, man. We talked to him.
Starting point is 00:53:45 I didn't really. No, but you were there. Yeah, no, I know. You guys were involved in a discussion with Tiger Woods. Yeah. Well, I said, I said, pleasure to meet you, and he looked me in the eye. So he knows, he knows my voice. That's good.
Starting point is 00:54:00 You know, like that didn't get caught. Like I said, pleasure to meet you. And he, I mean, he, he couldn't go anywhere else because I just had him. I had him in a claw. I wasn't going to let him go. I'll never forget trends shit I mean it was just
Starting point is 00:54:15 looks to the heavens I had nothing I had nothing where he's stationed anything else people ask me that on the street all the time where he stations
Starting point is 00:54:23 takes me back I don't know what the correct answer is I still don't you want to know where our booth is you want to know where we're at right now I don't know
Starting point is 00:54:32 where you're stationed I don't have these answers he didn't say where are you guys what is it where are you guys stationed I think he said where you guys stationed Where are you guys stationed? And that could have been
Starting point is 00:54:42 What house are we staying in? No, it could have. Where's our media booth? Barstle H-Q is what I thought. Where's Barstle's main headquarters? Barstle main headquarters. I think that was my main thought when he first asked it. And I was like, but then I was like, he can't mean that.
Starting point is 00:54:54 And then that's where I got twisted. You would have said, New York. He would be like, what is it? I imagine he was like, what? I meant like here. You know, I think he's such a pro with interactions that he would have just rolled with it. Because he's had so many interactions with people, idiots just like us that go just like that,
Starting point is 00:55:11 that he's just a pro. So many just the on the surface interactions that never get deep. Right. Every person he meets, he now knows that it's going to be the interaction that they remember for the rest of their lives. He may just do that just to fuck with people. Are you stationed? I won,
Starting point is 00:55:25 if we ever get to sit down with him at some point, I just want to ask him, what did you mean? Oh, we, there, I promise you, there will be a time where we have Tiger breakdown the entire where you guys stationed interaction. I haven't break down the whole interaction. Yeah, because we're going to be like, all right, what did you mean by that?
Starting point is 00:55:40 Because you put Trent's brain who's been waiting. Trent hasn't slept in 30 years to meet you. His brain melted into a puddle next to the practice. That Monday at Pebble Beach. Not a wink of sleep. Well, we could show him this video and he'd be like, I have no recollection of this. No. He would act like he did, but he doesn't.
Starting point is 00:55:58 You know what? I think he would remember me in the Barstow guys. Like, you know, he may remember that. Did I tell you guys I ran in Joe La Cava at the Rangers game? Oh, yeah, you did. You mentioned it. I ran into Joe La Cava, the Ranger game. I've talked to him for 20 minutes.
Starting point is 00:56:10 How was that? Awesome. So, Joe La Cava is a Connecticut guy. He's a huge giant Rangers fan. He's there with a bunch of his buddies. And I'm in the little, what do you call it? Like the tarmac. Concourse?
Starting point is 00:56:24 Concourse. Tarmac. I was thinking Terminal. And then I said tarmac. Concourse. Holy shit. It wasn't even close. Wow.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Maybe they call that like the Winnipec Jets Arena or something. Hey. That would be good. That was pretty good. They should call the fucking term. They should call that shit the torment. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, absolutely should.
Starting point is 00:56:40 I like that a lot. You were in a Cholacaba. I was in the concourse. Getting a brew. Getting a beer. And I see coming out of his little tunnel, his little walkway up to the thing is Joe La Cava. And I was like, walked right over to him. And he was like reaching over to or he was like on the other side of where the condiments thing is.
Starting point is 00:56:59 And I just looked at him. I was like, Joe, he looked right at me. He's like, Riggs. Great to see it. I was like, what's up, man? We talked for like 20 minutes. He was insanely genuine. He was with a bunch of his.
Starting point is 00:57:07 buddies and he each time like one of his new buddies or one of his buddies to come back with like a beer he'd be like hey this meat rigs he's one of the barstool guys and all his friends like oh we love barstool we're chit-chat and i talked to i was like man japan was great like congrats he's like man i've never seen him control the golf ball like that it's like almost never seen him especially like during this run control it like that felt in control the whole week um then he was like i heard you guys are going to be down in uh in australia because you know his son's like a big stooly yep and and i believe listen to the show he's in college and so I just just chatted it up with Joe La Cava for like 20 minutes and one thing that I've
Starting point is 00:57:40 been waiting for and refreshing for is at one point these stoolies came over like late in the conversation like hey can we get a picture with like you you guys and Joey and I was like yeah and then I've been refreshing endlessly for that picture to come up where's that picture where the fuck is that picture whoever took that picture is put it up put that goddamn picture up probably someone being like selfish they don't like the way they look so they're just going to hold on to it that might be it's something I would do. That might be it. Or they just Snapchat it or something.
Starting point is 00:58:05 You know how people do that? They just snapchat it. You're with Tiger's caddy. You've got to put that up. That's what I figure. So I've been hawking everywhere. I've been looking anything I'm tagged in on Instagram. Nothing.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Anything I'm tagged in on Twitter? Nothing. I can't find that picture. It's all I want is that picture. We're holding a beer. We have a great time at the Rangers game. Merch is in the damn picture. It's a great picture, I think.
Starting point is 00:58:25 Haven't seen it. I think you'll get it. Anyways, he knew. He recognized. How are you guys? How are you guys? How is everything going, this, that? They know we're going to be there.

Tyler Duncan wins the RSM classic. First time he's won a pro event on any level. He beat out Webb Simpson, who I think we've deemed on the show to be maybe one of the most boring people in all of golf. Cookie cutter.
Starting point is 00:59:57 Cookie cutter. Vanilla ice cream. Yep. He beat out Webb Simpson in a playoff. Made birdie. on 18. It was kind of a very good finish. Brendan Todd's story was really a dominant story. I mean, Tyler Duncan winning very, very cool. You get excited anytime somebody has a life-changing moment like that. You can see the true genuine emotion with he and his family out there and how it gives him somewhere to play golf, gives him a big old paycheck,
Starting point is 01:00:22 paints his future for him for him for him for him. It's huge, huge, huge for him. So very, very cool for Tyra Duncan. The bigger story is Brendan Todd coming out trying to win his third straight golf tournament. Really close. Really close. He had a two-stroke league going into the final round. Yep. Did not play well. Finally, like the first round in a long time in weeks that he has not played particularly well. He had some putt, especially on the back nine.
Starting point is 01:00:42 He had like three or four of really good birdie looks in a row, and couldn't convert on any of them and ended up finishing like tied for fourth somewhere around there. He was looking to become the first player since Tiger Woods in 2006 to win three straight events. He had a two-shot lead, like I said, I think he ended up posting a two over and was three shots out of the playoff. But he was right there. He was in the final group. uh kiz we deemed it kind of the rsm kisner classic and he just missed the cut it's
Starting point is 01:01:08 yeah so people kept tagging me in the video of him making like an 80 foot eagle put and all this stuff it was like well you missed the cut so yeah it's not i mean it doesn't it didn't not a good little stretch for our boy you can see the video of him in those weird shoes no putting shoes well he does yeah he does that's his routine before around it's like a stabilizing boots or something that he stands on crazy he stands on his little stabilizer and putts because he talks, and these are things that we would never think about, he talks all the time about the most important part of his putting is like his balance. Okay.
Starting point is 01:01:38 I mean, it clearly works. I just never seen those things before. They're just like lifts on the front of his shoes. Yeah, like on the ball, top, toe, like underneath the toes of your feet kind of. Like, yeah, yeah, balls of your feet. And he's kind of, yeah, he's hovering and you're basically, it's like a stabilizing device or tool or whatever. And he stands on those and puts. The first time I ever saw was at Liberty National.
Starting point is 01:02:00 And I was out there with him, and he's going through his routine. He's being, you know, chit-chat and he's laughing. But then he's standing on these fucking things. I was like, what are you doing? This is how I get better, bro. I mean, he's one of the best players in the world. He's very good putter. It works.
Starting point is 01:02:11 Really, really good putter. But Brendan Todd, all-time run that he is on right now. Good for him. Turn his game completely around at the full swing yips. I think it was mostly the driver yips that he had. He's down in the dumps. He's talking about not playing, and then he was very, very close to winning three PGA tour events in a row. I don't know when that's going to happen again.
Starting point is 01:02:30 Like I don't know when anyone's even going to have a shot to win three in a row as close as he was. Two in a row is crazy. That doesn't happen at all anymore. Nope. Three in a row, if he had done that, it could be another fucking 50 years before that happens. Yeah, it's such a rare, I mean, you win at such a rare clip on the PGA tour no matter who you are. And I mean, even like, that's why some of Tiger's records that were reraddling off last time where he had a stretch where he won seven tournaments in a row. He had a stretch where he won six tournaments starts in a row.
Starting point is 01:02:57 he's had like multiple stretches of like two and three it's just like how is that even possible because the best player of all time the guy who's played the best golf ever tiger woods i think he wins like a little over a 20% clip right so you're gonna win that many tournaments in a row it's just mind bog you have to beat 156 people out there 156 four you got to put together four good rounds and then you got to put together another four and then another four that's just fucking impossible think about how good like all the guys are too and anybody can get hot at any moment like think about when you turn on you know sometimes When these guys win, they're like, yeah, they're kind of in the mix. Then they end up shooting like a 62 because they chip in twice. They hold like a 40 footer, a 30 footer, and then they hit the ball great. Like you have to avoid that every week in order to win. It happened to Brendan Todd. I mean, he's a good player, but it's like it's not a world beater by any means.
Starting point is 01:03:45 No. He's awesome. I was watching. It's like he's not bombing the golf ball. He's just hitting it straight, hitting it near the hole and making puts. And next thing, you know, he's like 20 under every week. It's really something. I'm also watching this fucking.
Starting point is 01:03:57 guy and this golf that I've been watching this last couple weeks here the fall the fall swing the wraparound swing is like got me in the phase now that we're not playing golf in new england uh in the northeast it's got me in the phase where i think i'm good at golf again yeah because it looks really easy and there's nothing going against that correct all it is is i can it's shadow swings with the nine iron in the apartment because that's the longest club i can swing without breaking anything yeah swing the nine iron choke up on a little bit swing the nine iron and it feels like my swing is really solid and simple. And it's like, no, no, I'm just going to hit the ball, like, straight.
Starting point is 01:04:33 And then I'll just hit it straight again. And then I'm making a lot of putts on my little mat. So it's like, I just won't, like, three putt very often. I'll shoot, like, in the 70s. How hard. Like, that's just going to be easy. That's where I'm at with my golf game. Kisner gave me that one tip of the ball is in my feet, and I think I'm going to shoot a 78.
Starting point is 01:04:50 Kisner gave me the knuckles tip, and I feel like I'm ready to break, fuck a hundred. I'm not kidding. When I say, I think that Kisner telling me to, that I was on my heels has fixed one of the worst summers of golf I've had
Starting point is 01:05:03 like off the tee and like driving the ball I'm not kidding I can't tell you how good I feel in that last round of Sage Valley he just you drove the ball phenomenal he brought me back to like what my swing was for the last couple years like where I was shooting like low 80s
Starting point is 01:05:19 like on a consistent basis and then this summer I've been on my heels I guess and I've been topping the ball like I've never seen before no one thought to tell me that I was on my heels, not one person. I know it's a good piece of advice that kids gave me because it's thrown my golf dreams into overdrive. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:34 It gives me, it's like, you know there's meat on that bone when that's, when I close my eyes, a lot of my dreams are like trying to hit irons. Yeah. He's giving you something that now it's achievable. Right. It's like, oh, like, I know I'm capable of doing the thing that I really want to be able to do. Because up until that point, I was just sort of working with what I had. And it's just like, oh, I'm going to keep trying to do this and hopefully it goes well.
Starting point is 01:05:55 I know it won't go that well. But now that there's like, something, it like makes my mind race. Yeah, it's not just a total crapshoot and a hope. Right. It's like, no, there's actually, I have information from a very good source. Yep. And I've tried it a few times.
Starting point is 01:06:09 That will lead me to the promised land that I'm trying to get to. And we live in an area where it's impossible to actually practice it. So all of my mind does is think about it. And then it manifests in dreams. That's one thing I think people need to understand about us is that, yes, we play a good amount of golf, compared to the regular person, but we never get to practice golf. So when we show up, it's like, well, if we haven't played in two weeks, you're playing like, you know, a lot of the courses we play are very, very difficult.
Starting point is 01:06:36 Some of the hardest course in the world, it's like, well, no, I'm not going to get better. Like, I'm actually just going to get worse because I show up and just play awful courses and get frustrated and then you try new things. You have a new Band-Aid. Like I said earlier a couple shows ago that I've never played around where on the 18th T I'm swinging the same swing as I was on the first T. So it's like, that doesn't ever really get better. That just gets worse.
Starting point is 01:06:56 You're banding it together, blah, blah, blah. If we could practice, watch out. Yeah. Practice would make us so much better. Practice would be really cool. But in New York, we just go play, which we're not complaining about. No. Just saying.
Starting point is 01:07:07 That's just the reality of our situation. All these cool things, all these cool Kisner's got tips. He's telling the boys what to do, and he's fixing Trent's Iron Swing. Frankie off the tea and his chipping. And it's like, well, actually, when we, like, the next time we get to try all those things that we thought was cool three weeks ago with Kisner is going to be. Game time. After we've flown 22 hours to, like, Australia. Barn Bougal.
Starting point is 01:07:27 Barnboog. But I'm very excited. Mike, the situation is to try it to the Barsoe office. I can't wait. Situations here? Yeah. Wow. Fresh out of jail?
Starting point is 01:07:35 I guess he's been out of jail for a while. I was like the situation. Say Young Kim won $1.5 million at the LPGA finals. Crazy scene. She walked in this pot. It was like a 20-foot slider. Left to right slider. Not how long I was.
Starting point is 01:07:49 It looked like a 20-footer. Largest person LPGA history. $1.5 million, like I said. Hell of a leaderboard, Nellie Cordo was up there. Danielle Kang was up there. I saw Jessica Cordo wasn't too far back. Brooke Henderson, who I love, wasn't too far back either. So a hell of a leaderboard for the finale on the LPGA and a $1.5 million purse, which is fucking awesome.
Starting point is 01:08:11 They deserve it. I love the lady golf. So it was very cool to see them playing for that much money and to see somebody finish it like that with a walkoff. The walkoff was so good. That ball, too, is like the perfect type of walk. You can tell like six feet out. you're like, that's kind of curling towards the hole. That's kind of like side door and go in.
Starting point is 01:08:27 It's side door. I feel like a side door is a nerve-wracking walkoff because like anything can happen. Because you can miss it left, right? Yeah. It's short. The whole time you don't really, like it's one of those the putter, I think, knows. But like as the viewer, you're like, wait, that punt's still five feet outside left. Like, why, that's not going to go.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Just like the putter knows. The actual physical putter. Yeah. I was like, wow, we're really getting into it. Like it's a wand. I thought you, yeah, like it is the one. It's just like a wand. You're like the putter nose.
Starting point is 01:08:55 I was like, damn. That's deep as deep as fun. I do not think you were going to say that. He's getting the wand and that old man's like picking out which one. Yeah. I'm curious. He's got the putter. He's got the putter.
Starting point is 01:09:13 They're kind of like wands. Really? Yeah. Tigers got the, uh, fuck Frankie. The, um, what's going on at all? The, uh, the ever, uh, what is it called? Is it the Everwant? I'm doing a Harry Potter thing.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Oh, I thought you got like a, I think you got like a cramp or something. Shut up. I thought you couldn't think of the Scotty Cameron, Newport. No, no, no, no, no. You can't think of the wand? You can't think of Harry Potter's wand? We're all looking at it.
Starting point is 01:09:41 There's a lot of like hitting on keyboards right now. Click, click, click. Elder wand. It's like the wand. Yeah, the elder one. That's a Scotty Cameron. He was flipping, Tiger was spinning that elder wand version of Putter. trying kill and murder to get that thing,
Starting point is 01:09:55 but it's just always in his possession. Always. And like we said many times before, he's planted. Now, what's the other word I'm looking for? Crest? No. Hore crux.
Starting point is 01:10:04 Hore crux is. Oh, yes. You know, his light, you can never kill Tiger unless you get to. Green jacket. Green jacket. Horrocks. Scottie Cameron.
Starting point is 01:10:13 Horcrux. Maybe did we say Robbie Mac? No. Robbie Mac is one. Robbie Mac's one. You know who else we said was, what's his name? The old caddy.
Starting point is 01:10:23 No. No, Stevie Williams? Steve Williams, I thought. Oh, he's got to... He's got to be one. I think Steve Williams was one. I don't know if Steve Williams was one. I could have sworn he was one.
Starting point is 01:10:34 You're shaking your head, no. There's no way Stevie Williams was a Tiger Woods Horcrocks. For anyone he doesn't know. If you're not a Harry Potter fan, Horcrocks is what he must not be named. It's his very evil dark arts that he practiced where you basically take a portion of your soul and you, like, embed it into an object.
Starting point is 01:10:53 And then that object is basically a living piece of you that, unless that is destroyed, you cannot be destroyed. Correct. Very dangerous. It splits your soul in many pieces, which is obviously bad news bears. We believe on this show that Tiger Woods has many horrockses across the planet. And that Scotty Cameron is obviously one of them. You think his kids are two of them? That might be too obvious.
Starting point is 01:11:15 Yeah. You're probably right. What's another item? A Tiger Woods like item. I know. Scotty's so good. Scotty is the name. It's so obvious, but you have to make it that.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Yeah, there's no way it's not. That's where all the power comes from. You know how Lord Voldemort has a snake? Tiger has to have an actual tiger somewhere. That's one. Maybe it's Frank, the head cover. Ooh, that's one. That's a great one.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Easy. Yeah. That's a really good one. Really good one. Probably Mark Steinberg. He's been there for, at this point. He's been there through all of it. You can't have too many horrocks.
Starting point is 01:11:48 No, but I think he has like seven or eight, doesn't he? Harry? I like Steve William. I want to say he might have eight. My guess was eight. I like Stynberg. I like Stynberg. Steve Williams being one.
Starting point is 01:11:56 I know that things have happened, whatever, but I just, I think a part of Ty, he's got seven, part of Tigers in Steve Williams. Okay. I agree with that. He was there for, I think, 13 of the main. A historic run. Just a historic run. The day they did that awkward clap is the day like his soul.
Starting point is 01:12:13 On 16 when the chip went in. Is the day that Tigers part of his soul entered Steve Williams. Do you think there's one buried in that spot in Augusta, just right underground there where he was standing? Ooh. Not bad. Like the root of one of the. He needs seven horrockses. Number one, the green jacket.
Starting point is 01:12:28 No, number one, the Scotty Cameron. Yep. Number two, the green jacket. Yep. Number three. Frank. Frank, the head cover. Number four, Robbie Mac.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Yep. Four, Robbie Mac. Number five, Steve Williams. Number five Steve Williams. I think Steinberg has to be won. Really? Yeah. Dude, he's been there for everything.
Starting point is 01:12:45 He like fucking Pat's Tiger on the ass after he won the Masters this year. I think if there's any other items. What about like, any Earl Wood stuff? No. Maybe his tomb. Stone or something. That seems a little bit of a stretch. Maybe like one, maybe there's one red shirt that's like his lucky shirt.
Starting point is 01:13:03 Like the first mock. The first, the mock, it could be the red mock neck when he won chit, when he won the 2005 or like Andrews saying maybe that golf ball that like hung on the lip and then fell over the Nike one. Yes. But it's tough. What are him and Phil Knight's relationship? Now Phil Knight wouldn't be one. I don't think so. I don't know that that's not.
Starting point is 01:13:22 I mean, they've been together for so long. For a long. long time. It is, I mean, those last couple are the real trick. That's what, like, the whole last book is, is trying to figure out which, like, where are that? Open up to the listeners. If you got a horrocks for the last two suggestions, I think we got to figure those out.
Starting point is 01:13:38 There's got to be some big ones that we're missing that people know of. Has to be like, yeah, there's got to be something. I love Frank. I love the head cover. That's a good one. Yeah, that is a very good one. Yeah, something that's like stayed with them all the time. Long story short, you can't just kill Tiger Woods.
Starting point is 01:13:50 No. You got to go, you got to basically travel around the world. You got to find out, learn which ones they are. which we're never going to be able to confirm these on the show. These are just our best guesses. And, and again, much like Lord Voldemort, like some of them are going to be obvious, like the snake and all this and that. Scottie Cameron's going to be, but you have to make it one.
Starting point is 01:14:08 I mean, you just can't. The way he was flaunting that thing around in our face and that video at Pelham Beach, like, that's just the definition of a horrocks. And then you could even get deeper as to, like, last year when he, like, took the Scotty out of the bag and was putting with that tailor-made thing. Like, you think someone got a hold of, like, the horrocks was trying to destroy it. Possibly.
Starting point is 01:14:26 And then he had to send his team and they finally were able to get it back. Someone tried to destroy it and they took a sword to it and got exploded. And they sent back hundreds of yards. They're so dead. Or it like showed them their deepest, darkest nightmares and like, you know.
Starting point is 01:14:42 Yeah. Got flooded with snakes. Yeah, it's like a lightning bolt like hits their goes into their brain and they got a big flash of like the worst things that ever happened to them. Oh. John Rom Won the race to Dubai
Starting point is 01:14:57 Ranked third player in the world He won the season ending The DP World Tour Championship on Sunday He got up and down from a bunker To win $5 million $5 million payday He's only 25 years old vaulted him up two spots
Starting point is 01:15:12 Like I said to number three In the latest world rankings Rom hadn't played in like weeks Like five or six weeks He kind of alluded to that And his thing is like That just tells you don't have to be like playing all the time To win out here
Starting point is 01:15:22 Right. But John Rom, I mean, John Rom is very, very good. Remember it the, was it the Players' Championship this year when he had the meltdown out of the bunker? Yes. With his caddy? When they were trying to go back and forth and forth. And it was just like, anyone watching, other than John Rom was like, this is not going to be close. And then it just wasn't.
Starting point is 01:15:38 He was just telling you that this was going to be a train wreck and it just was. It was. But are you going to tell John Rom like, how many times you go back and forth with John Rom before you're just like, all right, pal, like, go ahead. Zero, that guy. Yeah. I mean, he went, what, one and two, it kind of gave him a couple, I want to say. He's like, no, I really don't think that that's tried to hit a huge hook out of a fairway bucker over water and just hit it right in the middle of the drink. And then blame the caddy.
Starting point is 01:15:58 He was like, no, I was really confident until you told me I was. Okay, dude. And then he ended up losing the golf. Everyone in John Rahm's life right now can just take a big old deep breath. Yep. You got five mill. He just got married. Is that right?
Starting point is 01:16:10 Because he went up to, I think I read that he went up to his wife and was like this is a wedding gift. Wow. Five million bucks. Wow. That's funny because like it wasn't going to be before, you know? Like if he didn't win, then was she going to not get a wedding gift? Yeah, yeah, I think it was just, yeah. Like it's a convenient thing to do at the time.
Starting point is 01:16:26 Very much so. Yeah, he didn't like say that. Yeah, no, you're right. Congrats to John Rob. For sure. On getting married allegedly. I don't know. And on winning a race to Dubai, you know, it's going to beg the question now.
Starting point is 01:16:37 Everybody's going to be talking is like, oh, has he gotten over the hump now? Is he there with his mental and emotional game? Like, because everybody always knows his actual games there, but can he handle it? This, well, getting this big of a win, win in $5 million sure looks like a good sign. So congrats to John. Starting point is 01:17:59 Visit lightstream.com slash 4 for more information. PJ Tor is tweaking their slow play rules. I'm going to read a little bit of this to you guys. I want to hear where your thoughts are on it. It says they're creating a list of slow players who regularly take longer than 45 seconds to hit a shot. The list will not be public, to the players themselves. Once on the list, and you get two bad times in one round, you could get a penalty.
Starting point is 01:18:24 I'm going to go further now in read. I believe this was from Golf Digest. They said the focus will result in the creation of this list. Another source confirmed of the slowest players, those who repeatedly average more than 45 seconds to play a shot. The list would not be made public, not even to the membership, but once a player is on the list, he is more likely to be timed by a rules official and would incur a one-stroke penalty for a second bad time during a round.
Starting point is 01:18:45 One player told Golf Digest that the tour is considering the addition of two more rules. Officials one assigned at each nine holes throughout a tournament for more thorough monitoring. So they're keeping lists. You got guys walking around. It's funny right under. It says somebody says the player, we're not trying to blacklist anyone. Yeah, you are. That's what this is.
Starting point is 01:19:04 It's a black list. For sure. What they need to do is I like the idea, but I hate that they're not taking it public. Like we've talked about on this show, the one thing that teaches people, shame. If you want people to change, you have to shame them. That's just the way it is. That's how the world works. So to be like, we're going to make this list.
Starting point is 01:19:21 We're going to put these 45 players on it. And it's like, ooh, that's scary. And then they're like, but we're not going to release the names, not even to the people who are on it. Then we're back at Square one. How many times do you think Bryson's name's going to be underlined on that list? He might have the list. He's going to start the list. It may be called the Bryson de Chambu list.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Also, what's the main thing that got Bryson to, like, react and respond to all of the Soulplay stuff? He's like, no one comes out and says anything. He got shamed. And also he's always spoken out about the fact that, like, no one comes out and says anything about it. You know what I mean? Right. And then this sounds like, I mean, what's going to happen, it sounds like you get two bad times in one round you get a penalty, that's going to come out of nowhere for that player. Right? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:59 Because they don't know they're on the list. So they're like, oh, I don't know what to do. Yeah. And yes. And one thing like this, as I was reading, I just kept thinking like, this is not going to change anything. It just felt like no one's ever going to actually get punished. Like they're going to, the rules officials basically are basically just going to warn you that. like, I feel like that, like, oh, you're, you're, you have one bad time this round.
Starting point is 01:20:19 And then if you are already on the list and you have another bad time, you will get a penalty. But if you're not on that list and you get another bad time, I guess you're just fine. So it's, it just doesn't, it seems. There's a lot of, there's a lot of room for them to not penalize anybody. Correct. It's only lip service. It's a lot of bailout room for that. For sure.
Starting point is 01:20:34 Tons of bailout. Which is the biggest one is not releasing the list. Release the list. Release it. Release. This should be on fucking PGATor.com. It should be like schedule, stats, the list. And then you click on that fucking thing and it's just the slowest players.
Starting point is 01:20:47 We should be able to like, gallery members should be like, oh, you can play a little so. You're going on the list. Or like, you're on the list. They should be in their Uber on the way to the tournament. The guys should be pulling out the list. I mean, we're going to roast these guys on the course today. Yeah. I love that.
Starting point is 01:21:01 I just don't make the list. You've made the list. Imagine the PJ tour. Like, you know how they do their little Instagrams all the time? Yeah. Every week, if on like Wednesday, they just published the list. The updated list. Because then that would be real.
Starting point is 01:21:11 Like, this isn't real. This is so golf to me. It's like we're going to make this list. We're going to have guys walk around. They're going to write in their little notebook, but we're not going to tell anyone. It's like they're trying to be like secretive and like it's fucking weird, man. This isn't like this doesn't feel like a professional sport organization ruling.
Starting point is 01:21:29 Like you know what I mean? Like the fact that they're writing down people that are going slow and they're keeping it to themselves. It doesn't feel like a-so weird. It doesn't feel like a major sports organization making a rule. Like this is this. I would do this on the Barstool Classic. Yeah. This is bizarre.
Starting point is 01:21:43 It's like, I'm just going to keep my list to me. they're going to make a list. They're trying not to offend anyone in a situation where people need to be offended in order for them to change. Like, what does that mean? Oh, we're not going to let anyone know. And we won't let your peers know. What are you talking about? Release the list.
Starting point is 01:21:54 We're talking about, like, golf here and, like, playing, like, fast or not. Why is everyone tiptoeing around this? It's like they don't want to hurt people's feeling. They don't. Post the list. Post it. Publish the list. What are you tiptoeing around?
Starting point is 01:22:06 I don't get it. You know, we got to, actually, it's something just like, we got to get a source inside the tour. We got to get the list. Or we could just. lie and publish the list like it came from a real source and we'll just update it every week that's what we'll do on our own just like whatever we want to put on there yeah and the PJ tool we'll get so frustrated with it they got to put out their list correct we could we smoke them out yep we're going to smoke out the tour's make a rule or don't this is driving me crazy I'm starting
Starting point is 01:22:33 to get aggravated make a rule or don't this is so stupid what do they mean they're going to make a I'm going to but tomorrow when the show comes out we're going to publish on instagram on our Instagram, the list. Yeah, go ahead. We're going to start with our own list. Who's fucking slow, Bryson? You're on the list. It's either.
Starting point is 01:22:49 Who's the ginger that I can't think of it? J.B. Holmes? You're on the list. On the list. I guarantee these two. Those two names are already on the real list. Have to be. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:59 Who keeps this list? Who has it? We do. Yeah. It's our own list. Ridiculous thing. Last thing I want to talk about. You're on the list.
Starting point is 01:23:07 Read it. Imagine someone says that to someone? Read it. It's on the sheet. Read it. What other thing that guy said to it? Read it. It's on the sheet.
Starting point is 01:23:17 Read it. Wonder what that guy's up to. He's a reason. He's yelling at some children somewhere. Last thing, Roy McElroy confirmed transfusion guy. Where does this come from? On our Instagram, I guess. Was there a transfusion or was it a Coke?
Starting point is 01:23:34 Was it a transfusion? A little dark to me. Do we have a transfusion controversy? So the DM said, came in this week to an email for my coworkers playing at. I'm not going to say the clubs. they don't get in trouble. Rory's sipping a transfusion after what looks to be a rough day.
Starting point is 01:23:49 It looks like a transfusion, I think, from here, don't you? Yeah. Especially the bottom part. The bottom part does. The top looks like an ice cold Coca-Cola. Top does look like a Coca-Cola. So it makes me think that maybe there's just a little bit of the red from the Tabasco sauce maybe coming off. You see that to the left is Tabasco sauce?
Starting point is 01:24:05 Because why is it like 50-50? I think it's an ice-cold Coca-Cola, a dye-cote. I don't know. That guy... It's split down the middle there. Oh, diacokes don't have lemons? I guess all you can do is go off the guy If the guy said he was drinking a transfusion
Starting point is 01:24:17 Here's the thing that we're like missing, right? He may be a transfusion guy He looks like he just came off an insane bender So like that's what we need to talk about The drink is not Like hopefully it's like a Bloody Mary And he's like getting back to life or something Yeah, no he needs to hear the dog
Starting point is 01:24:32 Rory has seen better days in this photo This is not what I'm You think this guy can beat me Blindfolded? The guy can barely fucking stand This didn't help my cause No, look at all Oh my God
Starting point is 01:24:43 That hair is all over. He's like he's creeping back to hideous Rory. That's, no. What do you mean? Look at that hair. That's when he had the afro. Everybody's got, he could,
Starting point is 01:24:52 if you give him, you know, 20 minutes and a shower, he'd be back to. True. World beating Rory. He took his hat off to everything. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:24:58 that's true. Yeah. He's looked better. Yeah. He does look. He's looked better. But he's still playing great golfs and he could be you blindfolded. So that's it for us.
Starting point is 01:25:06 I want to say one last thing. Okay. Matt Fitzpatrick. Did you see him on Twitter yesterday? Well, no. What? Somebody was going on at him about not signing autographs,
Starting point is 01:25:14 and he got into a big back and forth with this guy. I'm looking at the tweets now. The guy has since deleted the tweets like a coward, but I just wanted to go to bat for a guy Maddie Fitz. I guarantee he's signing autographs to all the kids. He's doing all the right things. I just didn't want people to start thinking that Maddie Fitz was some sort of guy who doesn't sign autographs.
Starting point is 01:25:30 Zero percent chance. Maddie Fitz is as salt to the earth. He's the best guy, man of the people as it gets. There's no way that that, the way that went down. He's the best. I guarantee he's signing autographs, like you said, Trim Teddy. He loves the fans. We know that for a fact.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Yeah. Are you teasing any of this Barstall Classic stuff? Maybe you can get some conversations at people's Thanksgiving dinners. They hear little rumors that you're coming to their city. Are you going to do anything? I'm going to tease a hell out of it. It's a really good point, right? You know, people go home.
Starting point is 01:26:00 They're like, oh, I'm going back to my city. Did you hear the Barstall classics come in here? So we got, we're targeting 15 stops next year. Wow. How many did you have last year? We had nine of you include the championship. here's what we're targeting. Actually, we didn't.
Starting point is 01:26:14 We had six because three of them were doubles. Okay. Because we did Boston, New York, kind of like New Jersey and like they're kind of like double stops. So we're really a huge operation. Huge operation. It's only a certain amount of weekends and weeks in the summer. Correct. And putting this thing together, let me tell you.
Starting point is 01:26:33 Because I'm booking the courses and then I'm trying to book them because we have a bunch of logistics. We got a bunch of signage. They go in like a truck and we have to get all the signage and all the, you can't, I can't imagine how much stuff we have in this truck, probably multiple trucks this next year. Got to get them from one city to the next. And it's insanely more expensive if you go like West Coast, East Coast, West Coast, East Coast. So I'm trying to, we're trying to crawl across the country as like a legitimate geographical fashion, an efficient geographical fashion. And so the way that I believe it's going to go down, probably start in late March, maybe early April.
Starting point is 01:27:05 And I've already booked a bunch of venues. And then go all the way through maybe October or November. We're not sure yet. start in Texas. Okay. And the reason. The Lone stars. Now listen.
Starting point is 01:27:15 Now, here's why. Everyone tweets this thing. Everyone tweets says, when are you going to come to our city? Pay attention right now. We're about to release the list. This is pretty much the list. The list.
Starting point is 01:27:25 This isn't finalized, but it's going to be damn close to this. We're going to start in Texas. Now, the reason is because we obviously, in the earlier months, you want to start in the, you want to try to knock off some of the warmer weather places.
Starting point is 01:27:36 But if I start out west and then, if I start out west and then come back towards the middle of the country, Now you're in the middle of summer when I go down to Texas. And that would... 120 degrees. It's going to be a million degrees and it hurts. So we're going to go to Texas first. I'm targeting Houston, largely because my guy Kirby lives in Houston.
Starting point is 01:27:50 I want Kirby to be able to play in the Barstow Classic. We're going to go from Houston, or we're going to go from Houston out to L.A. And then we're going to go L.A., Scottsdale, Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Minneapolis. We're going to be at Hazeltine, folks. That's crazy. I have to stop you right there. Hazeltine is insane that we got it there. remember talking to rigs i'm like you know you got to do one in minneapolis because a bunch of the hockey
Starting point is 01:28:14 guys want to do this hockey guys are huge golf guys um to be more specific brock nelson american hero good guy who plays hard and loves the game wants a for some in the barso class like he wants to win he wants to he wants to he wants to play golf he wants to get his buddies who also play hockey and they want to play he said pencil me in when we gave him the date they are ready to go we're playing at hazel team major championship venue rider cup championship so that's going to be fun i mean i think we have such a massive following in Minneapolis. That thing will sell out in a second. If you'll listen, maybe circle June 29th.
Starting point is 01:28:46 Just maybe circle that day. Nothing set in stone yet, but maybe circle June 29th to go to Hazeltines. My dad's birthday, shout out to him. Wow. I don't know. I hope he has a ton of bacon that day. I hope he plays in the Garstool class. That would be sweet.
Starting point is 01:28:58 Drives up to Minneapolis. If that's the day that it is, don't know for sure. Then we're going to go out to Philly, then New York, then Boston, then down to D.C. International. International. International golf tournament. Yep. Toronto. Yep.
Starting point is 01:29:11 We'll officially be able to call it an international golf tournament once we go up to Toronto. Once we lock that thing in, we've got a ton of Canadian stoolies. Obviously, a lot of spitting chicklets fans. So going up there. Then we're going to buzz down to D.C., then Atlanta, then Florida, which should be early fall. And I want to hit the Carolinas at some point as well. Maybe Pinehurst, maybe a tobacco road. Who knows?
Starting point is 01:29:34 But I'd love to hit North Carolina. There's whispers of trying to sneak Aaron Hills in there. There's whispers of sneaking Pinehurst in there. So all those details have to be officially sorted out. But that's the gist. That is the gist of the tour. I mean, the new cities in here, Scottsdale, Denver, St. Louis, mini, I mean, Toronto, Atlanta, like Jacksonville, Houston.
Starting point is 01:29:55 L.A. Houston. A lot. We're coming for you. We are coming. So get ready. Barstall Classic.com is the website. You can go check on there. And there's no excuses for you not to play now.
Starting point is 01:30:05 This is enough where, like, you can, wherever you are, you can reach. one people are bitching like um oh you're not coming to san francisco it's like well no L.A like I'm coming to your state yeah like if you that's not enough for you I don't care if it's three or four hours away like that's I can't handle that like that's a good enough event to travel for totally and we can't it's just not enough weekends and we have too much things going on budgets all that I just can't hit every city in the country it's just not possible or in the world because we're international now so you just like when we go for pizza places we'll go so we just went to Providence we knocked out like eight pizza
Starting point is 01:30:36 places everyone's like oh where'd you go for pizza I named the list So like, oh, you should have went here. It's like, dude, we went to eight fucking pizza places. I can't go to your favorite one that you've grown up to. Like, you know what I mean? Like, that's just not, I'll get emails. Go to this pizza place. Like, what does that mean?
Starting point is 01:30:52 Like, today, like now? Like, we can't hit them all. That is the beauty of the pizza game, though. There's so many. Everyone has a favorite one. Yep. Especially in the New York because it's so good. I've been getting a bunch of people like, what the hell, man?
Starting point is 01:31:06 You're not coming to South Florida? It's like, look, I'm actually coming from. from New York to like Florida. Yeah. And if you can't meet me there, then you're not playing in the bookstore. I don't know what else to tell you. I can't hit every city in Florida. I just can't do it.
Starting point is 01:31:20 And so that's, again, that's the general look. Maybe one or two of those will be swapped out for different cities. I doubt it. I think we're pretty locked in on those, but it's not set in stone yet. So get excited. Start opening up, you know, start keep your eyes and ears peeled. We'll probably go to market. We'll probably go public and let people start registering in January.
Starting point is 01:31:41 Maybe early mid-January is kind of the goal. Then we're going to run those things all year long. So happy Thanksgiving. This is our only show of the week. This is one of, I think, two weeks of the whole year that we do one show. The other one will probably be Christmas week because we're, I mean, it's the holidays. So we like to enjoy our holidays. So have a lovely Thanksgiving.
Starting point is 01:32:00 Happy Thanksgiving. We'll be back next week. Hit it hard. Hit it hard. Hit it hard.
