Welcome to Founders Story, the podcast where trailblazing entrepreneurs share their extraordinary
journeys, uncover the passion, grit, and vision that drive the world of business and innovation.
Here you'll be the better designer you'll be if you have other folks from different fields
chiming in to help improve whatever it is that came out of your mind.
For music, just having a band and a videographer, that's not enough in 2024 and beyond.
To compete, you're no longer just competing
with other bands.
You're no longer competing with other singers.
You're damn near competing with AIs now
And an AI
Is a large language model
It knows everything from philosophy
To math, to science
It knows everything from poetry
To, you know
Up to date news
Real time information
It also knows how to code
You're competing with you know something
brand spanking new so like the machine you got to have your your perspective um cross-domained
you got to have people in your fold that are experts at different fields.
You've got to be able to like, Hey, what's up, Sunil? Hey,
what's up, Jamal? Hey, what's up, Dimitri? Hey, what's up, Melissa? Hey,
what's up? Um, um, um, Punkar, what's up, Shahar?
You got to have every single person that works in
different communities and different realms of thought at your freakin call
yeah access you have that people in your realm and there's they're all out there
it ain't like you know what do I find these folks they're out there you want engineers unfortunately meta just let go a whole lot of
engineers because they know that those they're gonna replace those engineers with text to code
there's lots of engineers out there that are looking to do some stuff they're looking to
disrupt to fuck shit up you want some some illustrators? They're out there.
These big companies let go a lot of talent.
And they're pissed.
And they want to compete.
They're tired of being the ones that build stuff, and then when AI comes around, they're
let go.
So that means these new companies, small little configurations these clusters that are gonna be put together by musicians
dancers designers and they have this configuration of like this small unit
with AI that makes them like supercharged yo it's time to bring it
and it's time to compete not only what musicians you got to compete with the
big boys the big girls.
You got to bring it.
What else is there to lose?
You got to freaking go out there and solve problems with it.
Yeah, huge opportunity.
Yo, it's a new renaissance.
I ask, what was Leonardo da Vinci?
Was he an artist?
He a scientist?
What was he?
He was all them shits.
He was a renaissance person because of the renaissance.
He's the OG renaissance man.
And right now, we are at a new renaissance.
Whatever it is, you got ideas, bring them.
GE, we bring good things to life.
You got to bring them shits to life.
I remember that commercial name.
Sorry.
I'm going to flip it now.
I want to flip it to the driver's side.
When you were doing these test drives,
what was that feeling like seeing all of that come to life,
experiencing the sounds, experiencing all of that?
How was that for you?
The first time I got into the car and I hit the pedal, the acceleration pedal,
and I heard the bass line go...
I'm like, yo, hell no.
And then when I took off, it went...
And I slowed down.
And I took off again.
And I turned.
I'm like, yo, get the...
What in the world is this?
Why hasn't this been done?
And I'm like, look what we just did.
I was like, oh, my.
I couldn't sleep the next night.
Because then my mind started thinking of all the endless creators that are going to do things that we never
thought were possible because they took the architecture and the platform and let their
imagination loose.
And I can't wait to see what somebody creates with Sound Drive.
New songs, new sound journey journey immersive experiences it's gonna
be amazing it's a whole new it could create a whole new genre you know like
imagine somebody had a guitar and somebody says hey put this chord in it
and make it go louder with this amplifier imagine what that first person
felt like when they went and the amplifier just like like back to the future marty mcfly right
you know imagine the first time you heard an amplifier with the guitar in it imagine
amplification and that is probably what i think it felt like.
Similar feeling, first time you got into a vehicle
and the vehicle was the orchestra, the instrument,
and you're the conductor.
