Fourth Reich Archaeology - Fourth Reich Archaeology: An Introduction

Episode Date: August 2, 2024

Welcome to Fourth Reich Archaeology! This episode provides an exegesis on the idea and concept behind the podcast - namely, that the global capitalist world order led by the United States represents ...a continuation of the Nazi quest for world domination and total control. Indeed, we posit that the current US-led world marks a stage in a continuous process dating back at least to the age of European "exploration" and conquest, through the "enlightenment" and industrial revolution, and into the long 20th century. We also provide a sneak peek at what's to come next in Fourth Reich Archaeology: "Jerryworld" - our first series delving into the life and times of Gerald Ford. Starting point is 00:00:00 Colonialism or imperialism as the slave system of the West is called is not something that's just confined to England or France or the United States. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. So it's one huge complex or combine. Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists. And this international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources. We found no evidence of conspiracy, foreign or domestic, the Warren Commission of science.
Starting point is 00:00:53 I'll never apologize for the United States of America, ever. I don't care what the facts are. In 1945, we began to require information, which showed that there were two wars going on. His job, he said, was to protect the Western way of life. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders the more easy victims of a big lie than a smaller. For example, we're the CIA.
Starting point is 00:01:19 Now, he has a mile. He knows so long as I'm afraid of we'd never be secure. It usually takes a national crisis. Freedom can never be secure. Pearl Harbor. A lot of killers. We've got a lot of killers. Why, you think our country's so innocent?
Starting point is 00:01:35 I don't want to see a day. I'm not a national global. Big that poor Reich is coming. Pertial. I'm Dick, and I'm Don. We'll be your hosts for this excavation. Thank you so very kindly for tuning in to our first episode. We really are grateful to have listeners, and we're especially grateful that you, in particular, have chosen to lend us some of the precious time you've been allotted to spend here on Earth.
Starting point is 00:02:20 First things first, introductions and a few disclaimers. For this podcast, we'll be taking on the Noms de Plume of Dick and Don, fashioned after Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld, two of the many standard-bearers for the Fourth Reich. This does not mean that we identify in any way with these two fascist war criminals. No, we use their names with tongue firmly in cheek. Don and Dick each served successively as chiefs of soldiers. staff to our favorite president and object of study, Gerald Ford. They midwifed the mutant birth of the New World Order, that is, American unipolar hegemony and world domination,
Starting point is 00:03:09 out of the bipolar world of the Cold War. Their project for a new American century served as a blueprint of sorts for the fascist hellscape we inhabit today. So who better to lead the dig for clues about how we got here? Second, a content warning. The subject matter of this podcast, both today and in future episodes, is sensitive. We'll be discussing violence, including sexual violence and child abuse, as well as hot-button political issues, both historical and contemporary. And we can't avoid the fact that we're launching this project in the middle of a genocide, recognized by the International Court of Justice, but denied by the perpetrator. traders, including the U.S. and Israeli governments. And fittingly denied by Germany as well. Myself, Don, as a Jewish-American, have been appalled by the slaughter being carried out in my name with my tax dollars.
Starting point is 00:04:12 And as a Muslim American, I, Dick, see the current crisis is an unfortunate resurfacing of Islamophobic tropes that have dominated throughout my life to dehumanize Brown and Muslim lives. This has given us both a sense of urgency and inspired us to create this podcast and get the message out. Our criticisms of Israel, its relationship to the U.S., and the pressure it exerts on U.S. media and politics do not come from a place of anti-S. Semitism. Full stop. If you read any anti-Semitism or other forms of bigotry or hate into our work here, you either haven't understood or chances are you're engaging in our materials in bad faith. That said, if you have any questions, tips, comments, or other feedback,
Starting point is 00:05:05 please reach out to us at forthrightepod at gmail.com. That's F-O-U-R-T-H-R-E-I-C-H-P-O-D at G-Mail. You can also follow us on Twitter at Fourth Reich Pod. That's it. We're done. We're just getting started. All right, dance, drills, that you're free. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Well, we've been researching material for this project for a long time. We've got a few different pots on the stove, and we've got some very exciting series of episodes coming down the pipe. before we launch into those, which will be more conversational, albeit topically cohesive, this introductory episode is going to be largely scripted, serving as an introduction to the show's concept and teeing up our first major series, Jerry World, exploring the life, times, and meaning of President Gerald Ford in the context of the consolidation of the Fourth Reich. Some of you may be familiar with this emerging idea of the Fourth Reich.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Others may have no idea what we're talking about. Some of you may even be appalled at the very notion of the U.S.-led world order as a kind of upscaled version of the Nazi project for world domination. And to you, we say, thanks for making it this far. Please keep listening with an open mind, and you too may see the light. We recognize that we're not the first. podcast to touch on a lot of these concepts, and we've both learned a lot from many of the great shows out on the web today. We're also indebted to our predecessors on the radio airwaves. We don't
Starting point is 00:07:21 view ourselves as competing with any of our friends out here in the Podsphere, other than the disinformation agents, modified limited hangouts, psychological operations officers. Shout out to Tulsi Gabbard. And right-wing grifters, who are try and use bits and pieces of the truth to rob their audiences, lead them astray, or funnel them into reactionary political positions. To those people, we send our worst regards. May your lives be exposed, and may the fruits of your deeds embitter your mouths, you soulless fucking hacks. To our comrades, on the other hand, we extend our warmest wishes. We hope that our perspective, what we call the noided lawyer perspective,
Starting point is 00:08:12 we'll shed fresh light on a familiar set of topics, draw out some new material, entertain, and ultimately contribute to the sense of community among anti-fascist, anti-capitalist lovers of truth, knowledge, and justice. Without further ado, here is an introduction to Fourth Reich Archaeology. Welcome to Paradise
Starting point is 00:08:43 Two days three Two days three Two days three Today's three Today's three Today's dream Welcome to Hawaii Come to the fair
Starting point is 00:08:59 Do you ever feel like the world Welcome to God Today's three Do you ever feel like the world doesn't make any sense? Yeah, I do. Of course you do. And I do too.
Starting point is 00:09:13 We live in a country that thinks of itself like this. Shining city upon a hill. Brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America. There's the United States of America. We know we're not perfect. We don't claim to be perfect, but we are exceptional. And I think we have to both understand that and we have to safeguard it.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Because we lead not only by the example of our power, but by the power of our example. We are America second to none, and we own the finish line. Don't forget it. Meanwhile, this is what the country really does. CIA overthrew the governments of Iran and Guatemala in 1953 and 1954 invaded Cuba. was tied to the killing of Patrice Lumumba, Congo's first democratically elected leader. They didn't care what you were doing or how you were getting it. They wanted bodies.
Starting point is 00:10:23 And that's where civilians came in also. And that was my philosophy. Like if I'd go into a village and have to kill 100 people just to make sure there was no one there to shoot me when I walked out, that's what I did. We were about five miles down the road where there were some Vietnamese children at the gateway of the village and they gave the old finger gesture. And it was just like response, the guys got up, including the lieutenants, and just blew all the kids away. That was my first day in Vietnam. I could take a rifle and clear a room and do all this crazy stuff.
Starting point is 00:10:56 I've aerosolting out of helicopters. I grabbed dudes and put bags over their heads and zip tied them and put them on helicopters. Saw them being thrown away and they've never seen the game. The brutality is shocking. Iraq did nothing to us. And we killed a million Iraqi civilians, lost 5,000 plus American soldiers for what? Strip naked, diaper, physically struck,
Starting point is 00:11:21 and put in various painful stress positions for long periods of time. They were deprived of sleep for days, in one case up to 180 hours. In fact, it's not a democracy, that just because it's a U.S. country in Faluja, too much calamity, this world got crazy, it's no fatality. In late 2009, ATF agents in Phoenix noticed a flurry of gun purchases in the United States by suspected traffickers from Mexican drug cartels, including giant 50 caliber rifles. But instead of stopping the weapons, agents say their superiors ordered them to let the guns
Starting point is 00:12:15 cross the border. It's called gun walking. The Obama administration knowingly gave U.S. taxpayer dollars to an al-Qaeda affiliate in Sudan. We're told that the United States of America represents the call. culmination of so-called Western values, or to use an even more explicitly Islamic-phobic term. Much of the modern Muslim world has embraced faith, but rejected reason. Judeo-Christian values. Why has Western civilization been so successful?
Starting point is 00:13:06 There are many reasons, but the best place to start is with the teachings and philosophies that emerged from two ancient cities, Jerusalem and Athens. Jerusalem represents religious revelation as manifested in. in the Judeo-Christian tradition, you know, values like freedom, democracy, religious tolerance, justice, abolition of slavery, equality, universal human rights, peace, individualism, the development of the scientific method, hard work, it secured the rights of women and minorities, American exceptionalism, expansionism, you get the idea, indeed, those values and their universal appeal to freedom-loving people around the world
Starting point is 00:13:49 are what make America so successful, so rich, so magnetic. These are accomplishments of a scope and scale that only the West can claim. So we're told. We're told that America won the Cold War because free enterprise, that uniquely beautiful, rational economic system
Starting point is 00:14:09 based on so-called market forces, self-regulating through the exercise of the enlightened self-interest in elements, elevating the cream to the top of the bucket. Lifted billions of people out of poverty. Is innately superior to any other system of social organization. These aren't the only achievements that make the West special and uniquely successful. Work hard, and with enough sacrifice, you too can be a part of the club.
Starting point is 00:14:36 And don't worry if you're not there yet. There's always a slice of the pie waiting to be had. We're told all of this, as though it is historical fact. neutral, unbiased, and retrospective. The arc of history is clear. The obvious proof is that the world is overwhelmingly Western. Anyone claiming otherwise is just a loser who can't cut it in the doggy, dog world of market economics.
Starting point is 00:15:03 The left likes to focus on the bad, genocide, slavery, environmental destruction. We're told all of this with such frequency, with such repetitive force, that it becomes part of the architecture of our brains. It colors the lens through which we see the world and interpret events, both present and past. It becomes our common sense, our conventional wisdom. Judeo-Christian religion posits that there are certain fundamental truths handed down to us by a transcendent being.
Starting point is 00:15:36 We didn't invent these truths. We received them from God. Viewing the world through this lens, where the logic of the market reigns supreme, imbues us with an implicit, deep-seated belief, an expectation even, that whatever power sits on top of the societal pyramid belongs there, that because merit rules, the meritorious must be ruling. Viewing our current world here in the summer of the year 2024, through this lens, It's enough to give you a headache.
Starting point is 00:16:11 Like wearing glasses that don't belong to you. It's dizzying. It's nauseating even. It messes up the way you walk. Let's recap some of the sites we see today that don't quite square with the notion of a meritocratic, democratic, free society run by the people for the people. Let's take a look at the current president, Joe Biden. At least current as of this recording.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Like most American presidents, his rise to power was marked by corporate sponsorship, racism, and scheming. He worked with southern segregationists early on in his Senate career to try and bar federally mandated busing to integrate public schools, writing that he didn't want his sons to grow up in a racial jungle. He orchestrated Clarence Thomas' confirmation hearings, as chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, sidlining Thomas' sexual harassment victim Anita Hill and ensuring Thomas' confirmation. When he was running against Barack Obama
Starting point is 00:17:21 for the presidential primary, he had this to say. I mean, you got the first sort of mainstream African-American who was articulate and bright and clean and nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a story book, man. As president, Joe Biden has not only supported Israel's genocide, but has actively carried it out for over 10 months at the time of this recording. With his blessing, the United States has sent the Zionist regime immeasurable firepower, with which to blast hundreds of thousands of Palestinians into pieces.
Starting point is 00:18:08 And that includes tens of thousands of children. Let me be clear. We reject the ICC's application for arrest warrants against Israeli media. Whatever these warrants may imply, there is no equivalence between Israel and Hamas. And it's clear, Israel wants to do all it can to ensure civilian protection. But let me be clear. Contrary to allegations against Israel made by the International Court of Justice, what's happening is not genocide. We reject that.
Starting point is 00:18:46 We will always stand with Israel and the threats against its security. The whole world has seen the images of the carnage, day after day, and yet the regime's thirst for blood continues insatiable. Gaza is almost entirely uninhabitable. Every new area declared a safe zone is bombed, invaded, and raided by a combination of marauding killers and scared kids. In the West Bank, religious fanatics carry out continuous acts of terrorism with impunity, even with state protections. We see soldiers of the Israeli occupation forces posting celebratory images mocking the dead. humiliating the vanquished and dehumanizing the survivors. No doubt in hopes that their numbers will dwindle small enough
Starting point is 00:19:54 to commit the Palestinian people to the ash heap of civilization's triumphant spread. To the extent Biden's dementia rattled brain can set forth any directives at all, the only thing he calls for is more killing, shelling out unlimited millions for more murder machines, even as he pleas emptily for a ceasefire, almost in pantomime. And that is just one horrific example of what's going on abroad. Get a load of what this guy is doing at home. His administration has approved nearly 50% more oil and gas drilling permits on U.S. soil than his predecessor, Donald Trump. He's effectively suspended asylum at the U.S. border, and his Justice Department is funding local law enforcement through hundreds of millions of dollars in unprecedented grant money. Hey Joe, here's an idea. Why not grant that money to the communities instead of the cops?
Starting point is 00:20:59 Meanwhile, Biden's Republican challenger is Donald Trump, a career huckster, fraudster, con man, mobster, gangster, thief, and rogue. He's recently convicted of 34 criminal counts by a jury of his peers in New York City, and that's the city that made him. Trump was brought up into a life of crime by the notorious lawyer and suspected demon Roy Cohn, a man who proudly identified as the devil incarnate. In 1953, Roy Cohn became chief counsel to Senator Joe McCarthy's Communist Hunting Investigations Committee. The last two decades of his career were marred, however,
Starting point is 00:21:57 by allegations of fraud, blackmail, perjury. I had a lawyer who was a very good lawyer, tough lawyer, named Roy Cohn. He introduced me at one point to Rogerstown. From Cohn, Mr. Trump learned the art of the grift. He sold himself into a lifelong branding scheme through a series of shady financial transactions and social arrangements with the likes of Saudi billionaire, arms merchant, and CIA frontman Adnan Khashoggi, and notorious child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. At one time, the well-connected mega-millionaire drew praise from President Trump back in 2002 before allegations surfaced.
Starting point is 00:22:40 Trump saying he was, quote, a terrific guy. Going on to say, it is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. Trump is an expert at getting what he wants, particularly from politicians. He's gotten tax abatements and other concessions. Politicians have gotten campaign contributions, big ones. His exploits illustrate a man vying for the title of King of Crime. Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody,
Starting point is 00:23:11 and I wouldn't lose any voters, okay? It's like incredible. And he burst on the political scene at just the right time. The time for crime. Just Elaine Maxwell is in prison. I don't know. I haven't really been following it too much. I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years, especially since I lived in Palm Beach, and I guess they lived in Palm Beach, but I wish her well.
Starting point is 00:23:39 Just take it from one who knows. As Roy Cohn put it, Donald Trump is probably one of the most important names in America today, is, as I say, the closest thing to a genius I've ever met in my life. When we first recorded this, 81 year old Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., you know, the world record holder for oldest American president that ever lived, was still the Democratic candidate for re-election. But, as we had long been predicting, he dropped out of the race on July 21st. Indeed, my partner, Don, predicted on Twitter way back in October 2022 that Biden would drop out midsummer 2024. And while the jury's still out on whether I am a figment of your imagination, dear listener, you can verify Don's prediction for yourself by following him on Twitter at Angleton's Orchids, named after the flowers that grew in the darkness at the hands of the great spy master, James Jesus Angleton. We began to acquire information, which showed that there were two wars going on.
Starting point is 00:25:04 And the Soviets had no desire whatsoever that the world be molded in a western fashion. His job, he said, was to protect the Western way of life. Biden's dropout comes just early enough for his vice president, and the plot come to life, Kamala Harris, to put together a campaign after having accomplished literally nothing in what we're told is the second most powerful role in government. I can imagine what can be and be unburdened by what has been, you know? It also comes too late for there to be any democratic process by which the people can have a say in choosing a candidate.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Talking about the significance of the passage of time, right? The significance of the passage of time. So when you think about it, there is great significance to the passage of time in terms of what we need to do. Not that it would make any difference. As for any third party or dark horse contenders, the media effectively blackballs anyone who challenges the two-party duopoly. The leading third-party candidate, RFK Jr., has literally had parts of his brain eaten by worms. And whatever value his early challenges to the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine might have had,
Starting point is 00:26:17 he blew it when he came out in full-throated support of genocide with the encouragement of his sex toy salesman, Svengali, Rabbi Shmuli. Talk about solutions for the Palestinian people. The Palestinian people are arguably the most pampered people by international aid organizations in the history of the problem. So we're stuck with a convicted felon and a ruthless, if also somewhat clueless cop, some choices. If you're hopeful that our carefully crafted system of checks and balances
Starting point is 00:26:51 will protect us from the worst, Let us know what prescription cocktail you're on, because that must be some good, strong shit. The vast majority of the 535 elected officials purportedly chosen to represent the American people are all lined up to complement one or the other naked emperor on his outfit. All of them will fall in line behind whichever diaper-wearing psychopath bears their party's colors. And all of them are on the payroll. less than a quarter have called for an end to the genocide in Gaza. Fewer still have dared to recognize that it is a genocide. Meanwhile, almost all of them open their coffers to donations from APAC, the American-Israeli Public Affairs Committee, and other agglomerations of the ruling class money, to sell their services and ensure that the voices of stakeholders are heard loudly in the political conversation. Congress is a hog trough and everyone knows it.
Starting point is 00:27:52 As we were saying, this world simply does not make sense if you view it through the lens of the triumph of the free market, the triumph of justice, equality, and democracy. In fact, adjusting to the world while still viewing things through this lens is like a form of mass psychosis, a distortion of causal relationships between events. That's why we're starting this podcast, to plumb the depths of history, of political economy, of law, to help you grind your lenses and sharpen up your point of view.
Starting point is 00:28:32 The world can make a bit more sense if you can cure yourself of viewing the American regime as some flawed but well-intentioned experiment in democracy. That's a lie, it always has been a lie, and frankly, baffling, that so many otherwise apparently smart people not only believe it, but base their entire lives around it. It becomes less baffling, though, if you consider American exceptionalism as a sort of religious belief in the Church of Empire.
Starting point is 00:29:04 By investing reason with so much power, Greek thought became integral to the Western mission. Nowhere is this more perfectly expressed than in the American Revolution, in which the founding fathers took the best of the European Enlightenment with its roots in Greek thought and the best of Judeo-Christian practice with its roots in the Bible and melded them into a whole new political philosophy. Only Western civilization has found a way to balance both
Starting point is 00:29:28 religious belief and human reason. Like a cult, the Church of Empire selectively distributes its benefits among the congregation of believers. This offers us purpose and suggests that history moves forward. Non-believers are exiled. Most pagan religions taught the opposite and that history is cyclical. History just endlessly repeats itself, in which case, why bothered to innovate or create anything new? Heretics are stoned. The Soviet Union, communist China, and other socialist tyrannies rejected faith and murdered 100 million people in the 20th century. These people call themselves progressives. Ironically, they want to take us backwards to a time when man was governed neither by reason nor faith, but by feeling, and therefore back to a time of moral chaos and disorder
Starting point is 00:30:16 of feeling over fact. It would be a fatal mistake to follow the progressives. Stick with Athens and Jerusalem. The zeal of the convert is put on a pedestal as an example for all. Those who sing the loudest and most convincing peons to the Church of Empire. I'm Ben Shapiro, editor of the Daily Wire,
Starting point is 00:30:37 and author of The Right Side of History for Prager University. Vi for the chance to become its prophets. That's prophets, what they have. P.H. Meanwhile, those who simply cling to its tenets and humble faith vie for a share of its profits. And that's profits with an F. Faith is what bridges the gap between the sickening sight of the world as it is, and the rose-colored prefabricated projection etched into the free market lenses were made to
Starting point is 00:31:08 wear from birth. Take away that faith in the system, that delusion, and the headache becomes unbearable. Without Judeo-Christian values, we fall into scientific materialism. The belief that physical matter is the only reality and therefore also fall into nihilism, the belief that life has no meaning, that we are merely stellar dust in a cold universe.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Unless you change your lenses. The truth. So I say listen, listen, open up your third obfition. God is not down with religion. Religion may be selling it. Listen up. This guard is intelligent. Reading up the Bible is irrelevant.
Starting point is 00:31:49 You got to look within yourself, not a scripture. KRS1 comes to rearrange the guard picture. If you sit and believe, you can't achieve. If you sit and accept, you don't know what's correct or incorrect. This podcast starts from the premise that the world as it is makes a lot more sense if you adjust your lens so that you can clearly see that the shining city on the hill is actually the same. Citadel of the Fourth Reich. It's not natural.
Starting point is 00:32:19 If it goes against God. It's not factual. Her truth is not hard. It's not natural. If it goes against God. It's not factual. Give me the truth. Think of it this way.
Starting point is 00:32:31 If at the end of World War II, the U.S. incorporated into its ranks the best scientists, engineers, and technicians from the Nazis, then why stop there? Why not take the whole bag? bag, adopt the whole playbook, refine it, and use the teachings from the last failed attempt at world domination. Through a progression of miniseries on various topics over the rise of the
Starting point is 00:32:55 American century, we will come to understand the U.S.-led unipolar hegemonic world order, not as the end of history, but as the latest iteration in the long-term consolidation of control by the owners of capital that's been underway since the Industrial Revolution and the age of European exploration and conquest before that. The Third Reich is almost universally reviled, and rightfully so, but to even call the Fourth Reich what it is subjects one to all kinds of suspicion, ridicule, and ostracism from the mainstream. To be clear, we're not saying that the U.S. is Nazi Germany, that the U.S. is driven by anti-Semitism, or that Germans are secretly pulling the strings of the U.S.
Starting point is 00:33:44 government. Instead, we are asserting, based on solid evidence in the historical record, that the same basic grouping of financial interests, albeit with a fluctuating cast of characters, lies behind both the genocidal Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler and the genocidal Democratic regime of 21st century America-Kaka. To make a very long story, very short, the great fortunes underlying the capitalist world order on the eve of the 20th century had been amassed through crime. Treachery, deceit, genocide, murder, slavery, exploitation, theft, you get the idea. Before the backdrop of the robber baron's rapaciousness, Marx and Engels caught on and urged the workers of the world to unite, to take power,
Starting point is 00:34:38 and rest control of the means of production, and to share in common the privatized profits hoarded by plutocratic patriarchal patricians and their middling managerial minions. Before long, the workers heated the call time and again, pressing the capitalist to band ever closer together in class-wide self-defense, even as they kept competing amongst themselves.
Starting point is 00:35:08 One foil after another was deployed to divide the masses and keep them fighting amongst them. a vast pseudo-scientific field of biological race studies, was a major tool in the dehumanization and domination of non-European peoples from Asia, Africa, North and South America, and everywhere in between. Even the Irish and Southern Europeans were not spared the stigma of being cast as racial others in order to suit the interests of the inbred Anglo-Germanic warlords at the top of the social pyramid of the industrializing Western world. Ethno-religious categories were also used to cede the masses with horizontal hate and suspicion. For example, early in the 20th century, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was forged to support
Starting point is 00:36:24 the notion of a global Jewish conspiracy to control and enslave the Gentile world. Besides constituting one more instance of blood libel used to justify anti-Semitic persecution, violence, and expropriation of Jewish-owned property, the protocols function to scapegoat Jews for the despair and exploitation imposed by Western elites on their own poor Gentile subjects. Here in the United States, the great industrialist, entrepreneur, and capitalist hero Henry Ford invested a great sum of money in the printing and distribution of the protocols. He also echoed their thesis in a book he wrote entitled The International Jew.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Ford even funded the Nazi Party, and he founded a subsidiary of the Ford Motor Company in Nazi Germany that produced vehicles and engines for the Wehrmacht. For his efforts, Ford became only the second person, after Benito Mussolini, to be awarded the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, the highest honor available to a non-German. More inclusive and progressive identity categories were nurtured and spread by the owners of capital
Starting point is 00:37:40 to supplement and deepen working class divisions. Most notably, through the phenomenon of nationalism, the nation was propped up as a false secular god around which to draw lines of demarcation between members of the working class around the world. Imperial rulers sacrificed some 40 million souls at its altar in the First World War. War may have been a net positive for an economic system premised on continuous growth, fueled by creative destruction.
Starting point is 00:38:11 But its violence gave way to vulnerability, and out of the melee, a communist revolution overthrew the Russian monarchy. We fought for the future destroyed the invader, Brought to our homeland, the laurels of fame, Her glory will live in the memory of nations and all generations will honor her name. Long live our Soviet motherland, built by the people's mighty hand. The Bolsheviks and their viral collectivist ideology inspired countless millions of workers and peasants
Starting point is 00:39:01 to take up arms against their exploiters and throw off the fetters of a decadent ruling class whose indifference to human life had been demonstrated beyond a doubt. Desperate times called for desperate measures. The owners of capital, whether industrialists with their factories or financiers with their banks,
Starting point is 00:39:22 found a promising weapon to wield against collectivism in the form of fascism, encapsulated by the Third Reich under Hitler's Nazi Party. In January 1932, Hitler gave a speech to the Industrial Club of Dissadorf, where he explained the incompatibility between private property and market economics and democracy. A market economy, he reasoned, had to be based on law. If the economy produces inequality, that inequality must be logically attributed to innate differences between people along racial and socioeconomic hierarchies. Thus was Hitler acutely aware of the self-reinforcing logical mechanisms of capitalism and
Starting point is 00:40:15 white, or in his case even narrower Aryan supremacy. or belongs to me. Hitler had been invited to the Industrial Club by Steel Magnate and early Nazi supporter Fritz Teeson to throw a fundraiser for his budding political movement. You may recognize Teeson's name, T-H-Y-S-S-E-N, because Teeson Krupp remains today a multi-billion-dollar globe-spanning corporate empire that fabricates everything from steel beams to escalators. Hitler pitched his would-be moneymen
Starting point is 00:41:00 that his movement was the only one that could carry the banner of the free market against the burgeoning scourge of collectivism, then represented by the rapidly industrializing Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. He would protect the interests of wealthy industrialists by destroying the Bolshevik-leaning elements of German society. He estimated that that would involve getting rid of about half the population.
Starting point is 00:41:29 Not only was Hitler's pitch successful, earning him a substantial base of support within the upper echelons of the German ruling class. His value proposition was so attractive that the Those German bigwigs solicited investment from their class compatriots in the rest of old Europe and in America, too. Remember, the British royal family is of German descent. The president of the Bank of England, Montague Norman, was so close with German banker, Yalmar Schecht. who, by the way, ran the Reichsbank under Hitler, that he was godfather to one of Schach's grandchildren. Together with American banker Thomas McKittrick,
Starting point is 00:42:32 Schacht and Norman co-founded the Bank of International Settlements, the BIS, in Basel, Switzerland in 1930. During the decade of German rearmament that followed, the BIS served as a key intermediary, between the Third Reich's war machine and the international capital networks. Swiss neutrality and bank secrecy laws rendered the BIS the perfect money laundry. It helped the Germans skirt the restrictions on rearmament and industrialization posed by the Versailles Treaty,
Starting point is 00:43:07 and it helped the capitalists evade their own country's controls on international financial flows. During and after World War II, the BIS was an integral hub for the expatriation and laundering of Nazi loot under the protection of British and American intelligence. Funny enough, the BIS still exists today and is branching into new forms of money laundering like crypto. Its official mission statement, according to its website, Is to support central bank's pursuit of monetary and financial stability through international cooperation and to act as a bank for the central banks. Meanwhile, the infamous Dulles Brothers John Foster and Allen, who'd go on to.
Starting point is 00:44:10 control American foreign policy throughout the pivotal Eisenhower administration as Secretary of State and CIA director, respectively, represented multiple American investors in German industry as Hitler's rabid rearmament fueled massive returns on investment. They were then employed by the Wall Street law firm of Sullivan and Cromwell. One of the major investment firm seeking to cash in on Germany's post-Versailles economic crisis and a client of the Dulles brothers was Brown Brothers Harriman. A key partner in that firm was Prescott Bush, former U.S. representative to the League of Nations and patriarch of the Bush dynasty. His son, George Herbert Walker Bush, and his grandson, George Walker Bush, would go on to become U.S.
Starting point is 00:45:00 presidents. This pattern of wealthy Americans economically collaborating with, and profiteering from the Third Reich repeated itself again and again and again. The Rockefellers and their standard oil empire supplied the Nazi arms industry via German chemical cartel, E. G. Farben, with key chemical components for modern mechanized warfare like fuel-enhancing tetraethyl lead and synthetic rubber. IBM sold the Nazis' early computer systems used to keep track of the progress of mass death in the concentration camps. Fred Koch, father of Charles and David Koch, the Koch brothers, helped the Nazis develop one of their largest oil refineries,
Starting point is 00:45:49 which produced hundreds of thousands of gallons of high-octane fuel for the German war machine. The list goes on and on. when they've all taken this year In some, Hitler's rise was fueled as much by the ordinary functioning of Euro-American capital markets as it was by the anti-Semitism of ordinary Germans. And by this we mean that the operators of capital during the time saw war in the industrial age as a business opportunity, a means by which to allocate, consolidate and grow their capital through investments, sales of manufactured goods, and the provision
Starting point is 00:46:42 of services. Look, dear listener, at this point we think it's important to stop and explain that by no means do we intend to diminish the horrific acts of violence done during the Holocaust. The inhumane and ethically charged mass slaughter of people based on their race, religion, ethnicity, it's reprehensible. We acknowledge and condemn such violence. To be clear, this is an anti-Nazi podcast. Again, our goal is to use humanity's horrific past as a lens to help us exposed. Scooby-Doo style, the refined form of Nazism that persists today. Indeed, the very reason that the Third Reich failed was not because it was bad business,
Starting point is 00:47:39 but because Hitler took things too far for even the ruling classes sometimes sanguine tastes. It was simply not possible to represent Western cultural values and civilizational supremacy while banishing millions of people with European pigmented skin speaking European languages to cruel, degrading death factories. Besides, war is always good for business. Thomas Pinchon hit the nail on the head
Starting point is 00:48:09 in his masterpiece Gravity's Rainbow when he wrote, quote, Don't forget, the real business of war is buying and selling. The murdering and violence are self-policing, and can be entrusted to non-professionals. The mass nature of wartime death is useful in many ways. It serves as spectacle, as diversion from the real movements of the war. It provides raw material to be recorded into history so that children may be taught history as sequences of violence,
Starting point is 00:48:43 battle after battle, and be more prepared for the adult world. Best of all, mass death is a stimulus to just war. ordinary folks. Little fellas, try and grab a piece of that pie while they're still here to gobble it up. The true war is a celebration of markets. Following the celebration of markets that consumed over 50 million lives in the Second World War, the baton was passed to the United States of America to stand up against communism and defend free markets and their beneficiaries. But Uncle Sam wouldn't be able to do it alone. Even though it had a big military, the geographically distant and culturally crude USA barely had any intelligence apparatus at all, let alone one that could cross swords with an ideologically motivated enemy like the Soviet Union.
Starting point is 00:49:38 Only one fighting force had the goods on the Ruski's, or claim to anyways, and that was the remnants of Hitler's Eastern Front intelligence apparatus, the Frim de Herr Oshed. Man. Roles off of the time. Right, it really does. Can you hit it? Let's hear it one more time. The Fremde Herrera Ocht, Foreign Armies East. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:50:11 With enthusiastic backing from Alan Dulles, along with the other godfathers of the newly minted Central Intelligence Agency, like James Jesus Angleton, Richard Helms, and Frank Weisner, the CIA ultimately absorbed the entirety of Hitler's anti-communist shock troops under the leadership of the conniving Wehrmacht General Reinhard Gaelin. Reinhard Gaelen The CIA worked with elements of the Vatican as well as British intelligence and other fascist groups left scattered throughout Europe
Starting point is 00:50:48 to whitewash Nazi war crimes and help countless perpetrators of genocidal slaughter escape justice. Even high-ranking SS officers like Klaus Barbee, the so-called Butcher of Leon responsible for terrorizing the Jewish population of South France, were given false identities and set up in positions around the world to aid the United States and its allies. This continuity of interests is wiped from the history books in favor of a facile narrative. fantasizing that the freedom-loving Yankees lick the fascist crouts and made the world safe for democracy. Once again, that's a lie.
Starting point is 00:51:29 We are the fascist crouts, and only by accepting and understanding that fact can we cure the headache caused by a lifetime of looking through the wrong lenses and see the history of the long 20th century and the transition into our current hell for what they really are, a Fourth Reich.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Fourth Reich archaeology will engage in cultural archaeology to excavate the traces of how we got where we are and imagine the ways in which we might dig ourselves out. If you think of physical archaeology, the passage of time on a geological scale is marked by different layers of substrate. Generations worth of detritus are squashed into just inches thick bands. of color and texture. Cultural production on a geological timeline looks sporadic from our retrospective point of view. Archaeologists will make connections
Starting point is 00:52:29 between objects found at great physical distances from one another, created at great temporal distances from one another. Sometimes those connections prove false, based on speculation or coincidence. The absence of material can undermine the certainty of an archaeologist's findings. The Fourth Reich archaeologist has the opposite problem. The 20th and 21st centuries are marked by a proliferation of cultural detritus.
Starting point is 00:53:01 Today, the cultural content generated in a month's time would have taken decades to accumulate just half a century ago. Amidst this glut of information, the stenographers of the official narrative can weave together whatever threads they see fit to. More often than not, they do so selectively and in service of whoever is paying. Here at Fourth Reich archaeology, though, our goal is truth, clarity, and ultimately changing the world. We hope you'll join us. So your brother's bound and gag, And they've chained him to a chair Won't you please come to Chicago just to sing
Starting point is 00:53:58 In a land that's known as freedom, How can such a thing be fair? Won't you please come to Chicago For the help that we can bring We can change The world Before we arrange The world is dying
Starting point is 00:54:23 To get better Before we sign off We'd like to give you a little teaser Of what's coming up next On Fourth Reich archaeology Perhaps enigmatically Our first series will focus on the third 38th president of the United States, Gerald R. Ford, Jr. Besides the fact that this year marks
Starting point is 00:54:51 the 50th anniversary of his ascendancy to the highest office in the land, if not the world, Ford is an ideal case study for the consolidation of the Fourth Reich, through the vessel that is the quintessential modern American everyman. On his life's journey, he stopped off at just about every junction along the Fourth Reich Express. For one, Jerry Ford could trace his ancestry on both sides back to pre-revolution America. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, only recently purged of its previous native inhabitants in the American genocide from which Hitler would later take inspiration. Even though he grew up poor, Ford's biological father was a multi-millionaire, the insatiable frontier ethos of expansionism by any means necessary
Starting point is 00:55:45 coursed through his veins. He was a law student at Yale in the 1930s and 1940s, at the same time as many of the spooks who would go on to shape the post-war world through that government within a government called the CIA. Indeed, Ford was on the executive committee of the founding chapter of the America First Committee, that sometimes liberal, sometimes Nazi-adjacent group of isolationists who sought to keep the U.S. out of the Second World War as Hitler rampaged across the European continent. He also spent substantial time in the world of modeling and advertising in New York City during his time at Yale, that Madison Avenue world shaped by the father of marketing his propaganda, Edward Bernays.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Like most respectable men of his generation, Ford served in the Navy in World War II, taking advantage of that special glimmer that comes with military service in the fight for freedom. Ford was also a prominent and enthusiastic Freemason, and in fact, who was the last of the many U.S. presidents to have belonged to that much Ballyhooed fraternal order. After his one-time friend and colleague John F. Kennedy was murdered in Dallas, Ford was selected to serve on the Warren Commission, investigating the assassination of Jaif K and his alleged killer Lee Harvey Oswald. Ford was one of the most vocal proponents of the commission's conclusions that both assassinations were carried out by Lone Knuts and, as we heard him say in our opening
Starting point is 00:57:28 musical number. The Warren Commission decided that we found no evidence of a conspiracy foreign or domestic. When the Watergate scandal roiled the nation, Ford emerged as a stabilizing force, first being selected as vice president to replace the corrupt Spiros Agnopoulos, a.k.a. Spiro Ted Agnew, and later taking the presidency after Nixon's resignation in August 1974, just about 50 years ago from the present moment. As president, Ford was targeted by not one, but two would be female assassins, both in September of 1975. As it were, both assassins had deep ties to what might be called the California chaos, that under the guiding hand of federal intelligence agencies and Governor Ronald Reagan and his anti-communist clique made a drug-addled narcissistic
Starting point is 00:58:37 bloodbath out of the radical potential of the countercultural movement that emerged in response to the stodgy racism of the 50s and the brutal imperialism of the war in Vietnam. Ford then ushered into the highest levels of government, a group that later became known as the neocons, who would go on to crank up the fascism here in the Fourth Reich. We're talking not only Dick and Don themselves, but also George H.W. Bush, whom Ford named head of the CIA. There's plenty more to be said about Gerald Ford, and many more mysteries to be revealed about the 33rd degrees. Master Mason whose birth name was Leslie Lynch King Jr. But you'll have to tune into our upcoming series Jerry World to get the scoop. We will dive deep on the major events in Gerald Ford's life
Starting point is 00:59:33 and career, taking detours here and there to examine the Fourth Reich artifacts we uncover along the way and put them into context. Beyond Jerry World, we have plans to keep digging in the 70s and surrounding decades to analyze the privatization and diffusion of U.S. intelligence functions in the wake of the post-Watergate Pike and Church Committee investigations. And once we get things up and running, we'll ask for your support on Patreon to help us quit our day jobs and really crank this thing into high gear. For now, I'm Dick. And I'm Don.
Starting point is 01:00:14 Saying farewell. And keep digging. Laws to buy That the land that I live in has got on its side Oh, the history books tell it, they tell it so. tell it so well. The Cavalries charged and the Indians fell. The Cavalries charged and the Indians died.
Starting point is 01:01:39 Oh, the country was young. man with God on its side Oh, this Spanish-American war had its day The civil war to us soon laid away The names are the heroes I was made to memorize and to accept it all brave me with God on my side For this first world war, it came and it went. The reason for fighting I never did get.
Starting point is 01:02:59 But I learned to accept it and accept it with pride. For you don't count the dead when God's on your side. The Second World War it came to an end. We forgave the German. and now we are friends. They murdered six million in the ovens they fry. The Germans now too have got on their side.
Starting point is 01:04:06 Now I've learned to hate Arabs all through my whole life. Over 20 odd years, millions have died. For God's sakes in Gaza, It's full-blown genocide But them's just spoils for the victors with God on their side Oh, but now we've got weapons of chemistry chemical dust and and if fire them we're forced to
Starting point is 01:05:13 and fire them we must one push of the button and he shot the world wide but you never ask questions Questions when God's on your side? Through many dark hours, I've been thinking about this. Jesus Christ was betrayed by kiss And I can't think for you
Starting point is 01:06:14 You have to decide where the Judas is scarier has got on his side and now that I'm leaving I'm weary as hell The confusion I'm feeling Ain't no tongue can tell
Starting point is 01:07:02 The words fill my head And they fall to the floor to the floor that if God were on our side he'd stop this damn war Thank you.
