Fourth Reich Archaeology - Operation Condor 2.0

Episode Date: May 22, 2026

This week we are again taking a break from our historical excavations for an intervention into current events. Our venal overlords and their propaganda apparatus wants you illiterate. They want you to... be cognitively unable to think about multiple facets of American imperialism at once, unable to make connections between world events, and ultimately unable to do anything to stop, punish, or prevent their continuous crimes against humanity. But Fourth Reich Archaeology seeks to be your antidote to their mind poison, so this week we’re going on a hemispheric world tour to take stock of what we and other comrades have been calling “Operation Condor 2.0” - the American (and Israeli) project to squash any signs of popular sovereignty, democratic self-government, or economic independence in “America’s back yard.”We begin our discussion in Cuba, where the U.S. has been seeking to overthrow the revolutionary government ever since it won power under the leadership of Fidel Castro over 65 years ago. Under the corrupt imperialistic worm-infested regime of President Donald Trump, the U.S.’s war against the Cuban people has ramped up exponentially. The fully prone propagandist media is now peddling lies reminiscent of the type of false flags contemplated by Operation Northwoods, which President JFK rejected way back in the early 60s. We cover the absurd “Cuban drones” scare, as well as the outrageous indictment leveled against the 94-year-old Raul Castro for the crime of defending Cuban sovereignty from CIA-backed terrorists. Trump’s government of sickos is likely going to murder, torture, and humiliate the revolutionary icon to provoke a pretext for more violence against the Cuban people. More than ever, we need to speak out in solidarity. We then move down South America way to discuss the tragic capitulation of the remnants of the Bolivarian revolution in Venezuela to the U.S. empire, as well as the Bolivian people’s struggle against right-wing austerity and the imperial plot to murder former indigenous President Evo Morales. Then it’s up to central america, specifically Honduras, where leaked audio–largely suppressed in the U.S. media–shows the country’s rightwing political elite openly conspiring to enrich American multinational corporations to return Donald Trump’s favor of tipping the country’s elections to the far right and freeing narco-ex-president Juan Orlando Hernandez. The recordings also discuss manipulating the media on an international scale to weaponize information against “left” governments like those in power in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia. Behind all of this neocolonial maneuvering is the same old cast of characters. The powers behind the throne. Peter Thiel and the tech-mafia are actively pulling strings to immiserate the people of latin america, enslave them in “special economic development zones,” and destroy their natural environment through the unregulated expansion of extractive and polluting industries, including data centers. This is a pretty bleak episode for the bleak times we’re living in. We can’t wait for 2028 - no presidential election will solve the crisis the fascist ruling class is imposing on the entire world. We need solidarity, we need knowledge, and we need action. And fast.Patreon: www.patreon.com/fourthreicharchaeologyEmail: fourthreichpod@gmail.comSaul Landau Films (documentaries including great ones on Latin America): https://www.youtube.com/@saullandaufilms4081CEPR Report on U.S. Sanctions and Cuban Infant Mortality: https://cepr.net/publications/us-sanctions-and-the-sharp-rise-in-infant-mortality-in-cuba/Hondurasgate: https://hondurasgate.ch/

Starting point is 00:00:00 Mr. President, recent congressional testimony has indicated that the CIA under the direction of a committee headed by Dr. Kissinger attempted to destabilize the government of Chile under former President Ayende. Is it the policy of your administration to attempt to destabilize the governments of other democracies? Let me answer in general. I think this is a very important question. Our government, like other governments, does take certain actions in the intelligence field to help implement foreign policy and protect national security. Now, in this particular case, as I understand it, and there's no doubt in my mind, our government had no involvement whatsoever in the alley. N.D. coup. To my knowledge, no money has charged that. The facts are we had no involvement in any way whatsoever in the coup itself. The campaign known as Operation Condor involved military dictatorships in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. They work together
Starting point is 00:01:27 to track down and kidnap and kill people. They labeled as terrorists, leftist, activists, labor organizers, students, priests, journalists, guerrilla, fighters and their families. Evidence shows the CIA and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger were complicit from its outset. I want to read from a declassified record of a CIA briefing. It says, quote, they're joining forces to eradicate subversion, a word which increasingly translates into nonviolent descent from the left and center left. Between 75 and mid-78, he reported, quote, they count 22,000 between the dead and the disappeared.
Starting point is 00:02:08 So I think that in the 1990s and beyond, we are going to see a lot more of this stuff that we've known in the past. And one of the main reasons is that the United States is imposing this so-called neoliberal economic project. And that is also goes under different names like free market and so forth. But it results without fail. And it's imposed by the IMF, you know, and by the United States bilaterally and World Bank and all these organizations. WTO World Trade Organization now. And it is imposed and it means in every single case the marginalization of a great mass of the society in a foreign country. These are, could be 10, 20, 40 percent of the population who are redundant. They're not needed. They're superfluous.
Starting point is 00:03:03 Because the industry that develops and all the economic development leaves these people aside, just like that is happening now in the United States. and is one of the reasons why the extreme right movement in the United States is growing so fast. But that means that there's going to be resistance. And there will be people out there organizing, like the Zapatistas, for example, and others in Mexico, organizing to resist. And that means that there's a role for the CIA, just like there was when guerrillas were operating in Bolivia or wherever. There's a role for the CIA to collect intelligence on them, to penetrate them.
Starting point is 00:03:43 divide, weaken, and destroy these forces. And so we're going to see this, I think, just like in the past. Go to these other countries. They sell whatever they have. As a matter of fact, their leaders are sorry, slavery is over. Colonialism or imperialism, as the slave system of the West is called, is not something that's just confined to England or France or the United States. Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make.
Starting point is 00:04:21 It's one huge complex or combine. Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists. And this international power structure is used to suppress the masses of dark-skinned people all over the world and exploit them of their natural resources. We found no evidence of conspiracy, foreign or domestic, the Warren Commission of the science. I'll never apologize for the United States of America. Ever. I don't care what the facts are. In 1945, we began to acquire information, which showed that there were two wars going.
Starting point is 00:05:07 His job, he said, was to protect the Western way of life. The primitive simplicity of their minds renders the more easy victims of a big lie than a small one. For example, we're to CIA. No, he has a mom. He's so long as a night. Freedom can never be secure. It usually takes a national crisis. Freedom can never be secure.
Starting point is 00:05:30 Pro Harbor. A lot of killers. We've got a lot of killers. Why you think our country's so innocent? This is a day. I'm a national global. This is Fourth Reich Archaeology. I'm Dick.
Starting point is 00:05:55 And I'm done. Welcome back everyone to our show, our humble, little noided podcast, where we discussed just about everything and anything we want. And this week we are going to be taking a break from our ongoing series within a series, Shee Harvey Oswald. And we're going to get back to the present day, back to the Western Hemisphere. I guess I should say we are going to stay here in the Western Hemisphere. After all, Shee Harvey Oswald takes place right here in the United States of America.
Starting point is 00:06:31 but we are back not in America, but in America's backyard. We are going just a stones throw away from the United States, and we are going to discuss the so-called, something we've been discussing quite a bit as of late, certainly in our geopolitic series, the Donro Doctrine. That is President Donald Trump's spin on the Monroe Doctrine, of course,
Starting point is 00:07:01 new take on imperialist foreign policy but before we get into all of it we have to just very quickly right at the top say thank you thank you thank you to everyone who is tuning in and thank you to all of our very special patreon family thank you for being a member of our Patreon. Please do write us at forthrightpod at gmail.com. And you have my word. And on behalf of Dawn, I promise you that we will write you back because that is what it is all about here at Fourth Reich Archaeology. It's about making connections. It's about making friends. That's right. And unfortunately, the United States government appears to be doing just the opposite. And that is what we are going to be talking about today. As you previewed, it's. the neighborhood bully. It is the United States Empire and they are on a rampage with this
Starting point is 00:09:06 Trump mafia family that not only are they seeking to prolong and continue the ravenous foreign policy of generation upon generation that came before, but also they are cravenly enriching themselves personally in just the most. openly corrupt way imaginable and it's very hard to conceive of the level of degradation that the American voter has suffered mentally to get to a point of compliance and complacency with this indignity cast upon all of us in the hollowing out of what was supposedly an experiment in democracy. Well, I think that any illusions, any of our listeners may have ever held about
Starting point is 00:10:05 such an experiment ought to be thrown out with yesterday's garbage, stinky, rotten meat. The American War Machine, as we see now, it is on a desperate quest to preserve a shred of dignity, a shred of power on the global stage and a shred of respectability vis-a-vis the rest of the world community following the disastrous overreach in Iran that, as of this recording, May 19th, the Strait of Hormuz is still closed and the worst consequences to the global economy are still yet to be born by we, people of the world. And so that's the backdrop, really, which of course we've discussed at length in our contra-Iran series for today's discussion because it looks like once again to save face from humiliation on the global stage, this band of drug-addicted, narcissistic, toxically
Starting point is 00:11:18 masculine freaks and psychos that run our country. setting their sights once again on the countries of Latin America that have up until now declined to go along with their imperial exploits. So all of the gang of mobsters, of bad fellas, if you will, Trump, little narco Marco, Pete Hogg shit, all these fuckers are looking to stack up a little W to reinflate the wounded narcissistic male ego that they share under the name of American National Prestige. Yeah, the United States needs a W. They need one badly.
Starting point is 00:12:15 And, you know, you mentioned the Strait of Hormuz still close, and there's certainly a lot of economic hurt that will be coming because of that. but let's take a moment. Let's not forget all of the economic hurt that is happening right now, today, that has happened in the last month, the last couple of months, in so many countries in Southeast Asia, and so many places outside of the United States that have really felt the crunch this military aggression has caused, and not only is the Strait of Hormuz clothes, we have learned maybe in the last week or two now, that many of the the military targets, many of the military operations that were carried out in the last three months or so to destroy the Iranian military, to destroy Iran's weapons stores, well, wouldn't you know it? Many of those operations have just totally failed. The Iranians are still able to access what I believe, like, the majority of, of their weapons stores. The majority of their military, of these targets were left relatively
Starting point is 00:13:32 undisturbed. And so the Iranian government is, from a military, from a militaristic standpoint, no worse off really today than they were three or four months ago. So we haven't really achieved anything. The United States hasn't really achieved anything and also has pretty much destroyed any sort of prospect of having a harmonious relationship in that region with the regime that is in power. And so, as you said, the United States has to look somewhere else for that and where better than Latin America, right? A classic, a crowd favorite. And as we've covered in our American imperialism in Latin America stories in our one-off episodes we've done, like, is this it? Mafiocracy with Mo Tassic, illegal business, and cabinet of horrors. It's time for the United States
Starting point is 00:14:40 to take out that old playbook and get back. to oppressing and exploiting the people of Latin America and they're doing it just how pretty much any terminally ill empire might do it in a very clumsy and kind of embarrassing way. Yeah. And while they're playing the same standard playbook, I think what they're doing is they are doing it in this clumsy fashion. They are doing it, sort of mask off, and going for what they can while the going is still somewhat good. Right.
Starting point is 00:15:22 And, you know, one thing that I think we've been attempting to draw out in the analyses in all of those episodes and the Geopolitic series and really throughout our entire discussion of the present day on this podcast is you can't really really. apply the old analytical framework fully to what's going on today because it is unusual, like you said, right? The empire is in a state of what we can only hope is terminal decline at this point. And so while the old profit motive is certainly a driving force behind the actions of the United States government, and to be sure, the state is to. acting on behalf of the owners of capital and the ruling class. And by the state, I mean to include both parties, of course, Republicans and Democrats.
Starting point is 00:16:26 We are nonpartisan in our hate for the political class here. You know, those groups that control and puppeteer the apparatus of the state, they obviously share some common goals that we should all. all keep in mind as we discuss imperialist aggression in the Western Hemisphere. Those goals include keeping labor down, keeping the masses, exploitable, poor, and desperate, right? Economically powerless, politically powerless. And we can see the concrete ways in which that goal is advanced through initiatives like
Starting point is 00:17:10 the creation of these special economic zones or, opportunity zones or CEDES, as they're called in Spanish, standing for zones for employment and economic development, right? And in these areas that are kind of like ayn Randian little John Galtz, Gulch developments that continue in this long sort of libertarian island projects that I remember a while back the great Jimmy Fallon Gong did some coverage of on Program to Chill podcast. But these are places where the company owns the rulebook and the democratically imposed labor and environmental laws are suspended in favor of this private legal system that grants basically no rights to the people and all rights to the company. It's the company town model that once upon a time ruled in mining towns, even in the United States. And now they're doing that all over the place.
Starting point is 00:18:23 And by the same token, of course, this permits industry to break environmental laws and to offshore the more unseemly, unsightly aspects of late capitalism's environmental devastation out of the imperial core. and into poorer countries where these sorts of violent, domineering policies can take place. And you could think of the example of the Machiladores in Mexico that were enabled and proliferated under the NAFTA regime, brought up by Clinton in the 90s. Right now, I'm amidst the Great Tome 2666, the novel by Roberto Bolanyo, the Chilean author that really examines from 360 degrees this phenomenon and how it wreaks havoc on the ways of life and on the people in the affected areas. And, you know, tragically, Bologna, of course, killed himself before that novel was published. And some of the subject matter we're going to be covering today, you can kind of see why somebody might lose. hope. It certainly is a losing battle because now the Machiladores are joined by data center
Starting point is 00:19:49 imperialism, by crypto mining imperialism, by AI proliferation, and even offshore medical experimentation centers to privatize and legalize the type shit that was run under MK Ultra to the shock and horror of anybody that scratches the surface on those old illegal and unwitting, unwilling, and devastating experiments on human subjects. And of course, the key to both of these goals, to both the repressive and exploitation goals and the offshoring and environmental destruction goals is the same. And the key is to control the political machinery in these countries and prevent any sort of democratic control, any sort of popular sovereignty or self-government whereby the affected people may take
Starting point is 00:20:55 control over their own destiny. And ultimately, we here on Fourth Reich Archaeology, we do advocate for popular democracy. I think it's actually a good thing, you know, notwithstanding the fact that we've been lied to about what it means for the entire existence of this country, it would be nice if people could control their government and control their destiny and make decisions for themselves in their own interests. That would be nice, and we advocate it. And unfortunately, the vast majority of programs launched by these ruling classes that control the world that we live in may give lip service to democracy, but are working to its destruction, its terminal destruction, and to prop up what we've called the spectacle
Starting point is 00:21:55 of democracy in its place, an empty spectacle, if ever there was one. And beyond keeping the sort of laboring masses politically and economically powerless and beyond offshoring the environmentally devastating impact of these business endeavors. Beyond those objectives, there is, and even downstream from those objectives, there isn't some rational, coherent grand strategy at work to further the interest of the ruling class. So let's take a moment and explain that, right? It's not as contrived as there being some global.
Starting point is 00:22:39 government that is deciding how to pull the strings on all these nation states and these business interests and sort of manipulate the system in a way that will further the interests of the ruling class, right? There is not some grand conspiracy going on. The system itself, over the so many hundreds of years that have developed into what we are seeing today, the system itself is such that these people, these goals, these ideas, these groups, they sort of sprout organically. And there's plenty of factional infighting that goes on and literal rat racing that goes on between these people, between these craven, disgusting fuchs that are in this ruling class that we have referred to as the powers that be the system is built in such a way that
Starting point is 00:23:43 these people are just going about their lives doing their best to further their lot to whether that's you know advancement in their careers on a personal level or whether that is um consolidating whatever power they have in their circles. Whatever that is, those objectives are there by design. And these people, they aren't necessarily working in some conscious conspiracy. And in fact, at times they're probably working against one another. But nonetheless, no matter what they're doing, they're still moving towards that ultimate goal, that ultimate goal of keeping the people powerless, of keeping people unorganized and preventing people from any sort of democratic self-control. And in this episode, we're going to do a sort of round-robin, kind of like what we were doing in the Cabinet of Horrors episode,
Starting point is 00:24:50 where we'll just spend a little bit of time to take stock of the latest developments in the region of Latin America, South America. and try to make some sense of what's going on. Spoiler alert, it's not good. So without further ado, let's get digging. As President Trump publicly weighs taking military action in Cuba, the country's president Miguel Diaz Canal is warning that doing so would create a, quote, bloodbath.
Starting point is 00:25:27 In an exclusive, Axios reports that Cuba has acquired more than three, hundred military drones and is discussing using them to potentially attack the Guantanamo Bay U.S. detention center and possibly even part of the U.S. mainland. We have big news on Cuba, as you know, with the indictment of Castro. So we have Cuba on our mind. Very important. This morning, a close Nicholas Maduro ally, Alex Saab, may be asked to testify against him.
Starting point is 00:26:08 The Venezuelan government says it deported. the billionaire tycoon to face legal proceedings in the U.S. Bolivia is facing its largest wave of protests in decades, and now supporters of former President Ivo Morales are joining the unrest. Thousands of Morales loyalists marched into La Paz on Monday, clashing with police outside the government headquarters as they demanded President Rodrigo Paz resigned. The President Trump offers a new relation
Starting point is 00:26:48 between the US and Cuba, but it has to be directly with you, the people Cuban, No, congaesce. First, we're offering $100 million of dollars in animals and medicines for you, the people. All right.
Starting point is 00:27:07 We are going to start this tour of the hemisphere on the island of Cuba. And we're not going to belabor the background here because I think that by now most of our listeners will be pretty familiar with the basic contours of what has been
Starting point is 00:27:26 going on ever since the revolution. overthrew the U.S.-backed dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista way back then over 60 years ago now and has remained in power notwithstanding the crippling economic sanctions and the blockade that the U.S. has imposed in order to punish the Cuban people and to coerce them through violence, economic violence, as well as physical violence, into overthrowing their own government. And surprise, surprise, it hasn't worked because the Cuban people have shown a backbone of steel. They have also had friends in high places in the form of the Soviet Union. That was a economic support for its entire existence.
Starting point is 00:28:20 and ever since its collapse, of course, things have gotten much worse in Cuba. The country of Venezuela stepped in to fill some of that void, but never was really quite able to play the same role in maintaining the Cuban revolution and the prosperity of the Cuban Revolution that the Soviet Union did. And since January 3rd, when the United States effectuated, if not really, regime change, at least a leadership change, at least a change in personnel in Venezuela, and a change in the dynamics of the Venezuelan oil economy in particular, well, things in Cuba have gotten dire, talking fuel shortages, blackouts, hospitals going offline, school closures,
Starting point is 00:29:17 and hundreds, if not thousands of deaths. I mean, I was reading a report from the Center for Economic Policy Research that found between 2018 and 2025, over 1,800 babies died as a result of U.S. sanctions that affected the health care infrastructure in Cuba. We're talking about the Trump and the Biden administrations there. So, again, illustrating the bipartisan nation. nature of all of this, that Joe Biden did nothing to reverse or roll back Trump's ratcheting up of the war against the Cuban people. And that ratcheting up has continued at an alarming rate over the last year and especially even more so over the last five months since toppling
Starting point is 00:30:15 the Venezuelan government. Dick, you want to talk a little bit about what's more new in Cuba over the last couple of weeks and what we might look at. And then we could talk about what we might look out for on the horizon. So what's new is this ramping up of the propaganda war by the U.S. media, which is fully in the grips of the Trump administration. Fully at this point, there can be no doubt that if something is getting boosted in the media today, the Trump administration must be behind it because I'm sorry to say ladies and gentlemen my friends there is pretty much no such thing as independent major media these days not that there was any of the sort the phenomenon of the corporate media machine is something that has existed well before trump
Starting point is 00:31:11 definitely existed in the Biden and Obama administrations but things have gotten to a whole nother level. And of course, on May 17th, Mark Caputo, who is one of these Axios journalists, he published in Axios, an exclusive story that Cuba has, wouldn't you know it, more than 300 military drones. It has acquired them and has recently begun discussing plans to use them to attack the United States at Guantanamo Bay and possibly places in the southern United States, Florida and thereabouts. Remember, you know, Cuba is only 90 miles from the United States, only 90 miles from the tip of Florida. And so I guess this Caputo guy is trying to capitalize on the fact that Cuba is so close and gin up a story of a potential Cuban threat.
Starting point is 00:32:23 I will say, you know, this guy Caputo was on, he was on a couple different news cycles and I did read his piece. And it does go on to say that there is no evidence that the United, that Cuba is actually going to do anything imminently. and also that like the CIA when the CIA met with Cuba they sort of told Cuba that hey we know that you're doing this or you've done this you've acquired these drones and just let them let them know that you know the United States was on to them and the Cuban government hasn't really said or hasn't really made any threats of imminent attack it's basically a story of the Cuban military attack the Cuban military acquiring these military assets. And so the reason that it's such headline news is it's alarming because it's obvious
Starting point is 00:33:24 that they are trying to sow the seed of fear against the in the region against the Cubans. And you can tell they're doing that because the story itself implicates all of the major villains in the United States story, right? You have Iran being implicated as the source of the drones and also Russia being implicated as a place where Cuban soldiers have gone to help out in the war with Ukraine. And in fact, the story goes on to explain that it's possible these soldiers, these Cuban soldiers, learned about the effectiveness of use.
Starting point is 00:34:13 using drones in this asymmetrical warfare with Ukraine. Yeah, all of a sudden, the Trump administration people give a fuck about the Ukraine war that they were opposing when it was Joe Biden's war. Right. It's there's no pretense of coherence at all. And I would say like it's you're right that the article does say, you know, at the very bottom, right? that, oh yeah, we don't think that Cuba poses an imminent threat. And they don't really have an Air Force. And we don't think they're going to attack us affirmatively.
Starting point is 00:34:52 But nevertheless, we can't tolerate them building up this capacity. And it's buried and it's presented in that Axios way, which is like a bullet list. 100%. I can't stand that shit. 100%. It's so clearly, this is so clearly a. attempt of sort of building a record in the public in the public eye right because you have these hot button issues of drone warfare right this idea of like an asymmetrical war where these countries
Starting point is 00:35:26 that are not nearly as militaristically advanced and powerful as the united states where they now have the potentially could have the upper hand when it comes to warfare given the accessibility of something like military drones. So you have that, and then you have the good old-fashioned, uh, negative views of not only the, of the country of Cuba,
Starting point is 00:35:56 but also you have Iran and Russia. And there have been links to China in this news article. And this idea that this is the new axis of evil. Axis of evil. Exactly. The, the new bad guys are being propped up. And so it's 100% like a, I think so transparently a plant story, right? Yeah. Yeah, it is pretty outrageous.
Starting point is 00:36:24 And I will say, you know, Mark Caputo, his name lends itself to a lot of insulting puns in Spanish. Puto Cabron. Caputo Cabron. Caputo de miherda. And, you know, we all hope that his career. will be caput before too long. What a fucking scribe for empire propagandist piece of shit, as are the many talking heads that go on to parrot the same quote-unquote exclusive
Starting point is 00:37:00 breaking story on the television news from sea to shining sea. It's ginning up propaganda in the exact model of Operation North Woods, right? The plan way back in JFK's time, which JFK personally vetoed, that was proposed to him by the hawkish military advisors and CIA to actually shoot down an American airliner and blame it on the Cubans as a pretext for an invasion of the island. So they're just going, way back in time, way back to the Cold War playbook, and we get questions occasionally from listeners, your present day stuff seems more relevant. It seems more accessible, and that is a fair thing to say, especially in light of the overload of information and in particular
Starting point is 00:38:03 misinformation that floods our timelines, our social media feeds, and the mainstream media as well. but it's so important, we believe, to have this historical grounding to be able to accurately analyze and interpret current events in an actionable and a useful way that you can share with people around you to let them know because anybody who Googles Operation Northwoods, you can see right there the declassified documents detailing this history, this precedent for the exact same lies that are being trotted out today. And to be sure, the lie part of it is that Cuba would certainly not offensively attack the United States. It would be national suicide for them to do so, and there's no way that they would because it's not
Starting point is 00:39:02 a suicidal government. It's not a suicidal people. It's a victim of homicide, to be sure, But it's not a suicidal people. It's a strong, a proud people that have defended their revolution for over 60 years. What we don't mean to say is, you know, if there are indeed acquisitions of drones and know-how from the Iranians in a defensive posture by Cuba, well, that would be actually a completely rational thing for Cuba to do. We're not saying that they do have these drones or they don't, but it would make perfect sense for them to have them. And in fact, it would be much better for them to have defensive capacity than for them not to have defensive capacity. Because the imperialist aggression must be repelled as the Iran example shows us.
Starting point is 00:39:59 Not only that, at the very least, it's not newsworthy. There's no reason this should be making the news if it's just a matter of one kind of. country shoring up its defenses. I mean, countries do that, right? This is their right on the international stage. They can do whatever they want to defend themselves to shore up their defenses. So at the very least, this is not even news. There's no reason for it to get the boost that it is getting. Right. It's just news within an imperialist framework and ultimately a racist framework that casts as less than human the peoples of the so-called third world. They don't enjoy the same rights. They are not viewed as rational actors thanks to propaganda like
Starting point is 00:40:48 Axios. And they are denied the principle of sovereignty which so animates, you know, all these fucking right-wingers that are obsessed with borders and sovereignty and all this bullshit and the minute that it's somebody else's sovereignty, especially somebody who is not a white nation, a white Western capitalist nation, then sovereignty flies out the window pretty damn quick. And military aggression is not the only means that the United States is deploying. Breaking news, CBS News has learned the United States has learned the United States is taking steps to indict Raul Castro, the 94-year-old former president of Cuba and brother of Fidel Castro. According to U.S. officials familiar with the matter, the potential indictment is in connection with the 1996 downing of a plane operated by a humanitarian.
Starting point is 00:42:04 group. Now the news comes as a CIA director, John Ratcliffe, traveled to Cuba today to meet with government officials. Should I talk about this one? Yeah, go ahead. This is another story coming out of Axios, right? Yeah, also Axios, and it's been widely reported too. I saw it was picked up on kind of all the three-letter agencies that we could call right there with the FBI, the CIA, the NBC, the CBS, they're all part of the same apparatus, these alphabet soup motherfuckers. And what they're reporting is that tomorrow, and I assume that this will bear out, I guess we'll have to edit it and post if not, but I don't think that there will be any real, hopefully there won't be any action on the news when it does come out tomorrow,
Starting point is 00:43:02 but everybody has already reported tomorrow's news that the United States Department of Justice and acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche. You may know him from such feats as helping cover up the Epstein scandal, moving Galane Maxwell into a resort prison, and whitewashing her testimony and using her testimony to whitewash Trump's involvement. Yeah, that fucker, I'd like to call him Todd Stanch, because you know his head is stinky, from spending most of its time well up Donald Trump's shit-filled ass.
Starting point is 00:43:47 And Todd Stanch is going to announce a criminal indictment against the 95-year-old revolutionary hero Raul Castro, brother, of course, of the late Fidel. And the propaganda on this one also is wild. NBC, for example, or Axios, and then I think, think the other ones that copied Axios too are calling Castro Cuba's de facto leader, this old ass man, 95 years old, poor old guy, as though he's calling the shots behind the scenes. Like, he is retired.
Starting point is 00:44:29 He is ancient. He is small and shriveled. And they are not going to let him live in peace. And what's really crazy are the allegations that he's being indicted on. Those allegations stem from the 1996. That's right. You heard that right. 30 years ago, 1996 downing of two private planes operated by the organization known as
Starting point is 00:45:01 Hermanos Al Rescate, Brothers to the Rescue. And, hey, Dick. do you have a guess as to whether or not this is like a legit outfit, these brothers to the rescue group that's flying little Cessna's twin engines over between Florida and Cuba? What do you think? Well, the way the news media, the corporate news media, would have these people have this group propped up, is that it's some innocent humanitarian nonprofit. But you mean to tell me that a bunch of single-engineer,
Starting point is 00:45:39 an aircraft flying to and fro the United States through Latin America, they're up to no good? Well, let's just put it this way. If you haven't listened to Mafiocracy, you should, because there's quite a bit of background on the antecedent groups, namely the Contras in Nicaragua, right? But this is your classic, classic gang of fellas who's making money and funding their operations through the drug trade. They're getting protection and intel from the CIA, and they are running subversion missions against the Cuban government. And it's like astounding to me. There was a fucking Hollywood motion picture with a list of stars as long as your arm just five, six years ago, 2020, called the WASP network. It was all. It was
Starting point is 00:46:36 It is still on Netflix. It's a good movie. I recommend that people check it out, starring Gail Garcia Bernal, Penelope Cruz, Wagner Mora. It's got Anna de Armas in there, like cast of stars. And it's all about the so-called Cuban Five who had infiltrated on behalf of the Cuban government this and other similar anti-revolutionary, counter-revolutionary group. that were backed by the CIA in order to pass on the intel to the Cuban government about the type of terrorism, bombings, murders that these groups were conducting, and that intel ultimately led to the downing of this plane
Starting point is 00:47:26 in self-defense of the Cuban people from terrorism. And it's like apparently in Miami every year they have. some event to commemorate this downing and it takes place on May 20th that is Wednesday of this week that we're recording and so at that event you know populated by some of just the worst of the worst anti-Castro Cubans in Miami it's where this right-wing gang of fascists is going to announce charges against Raul Castro for involvement in this affair. Of course, none of the actual terrorists who have bombed,
Starting point is 00:48:18 including U.S. targets, including bombing Cuban passenger airlines, civilian hotels in Cuba, under the leadership of the likes of Orlando Bosch, Luis Posada Carrilylez. There's just a list of actual anti-Castro terrorists that, you can learn about. You know, the fictionalized WASP network is good, but I'd also recommend documentary by Saul Landau called Will the Real Terrorist Please Stand Up? That's all about this period as well, and the disparate treatment of anti-Castro-terrorists versus pro-revolutionary Cuban governmental infiltrators in the form of these Cuban five that were imprisoned.
Starting point is 00:49:08 And, you know, again, the history is there for those with five minutes to do a quick Google search, which apparently the producers of fucking NBC News do not have. Or if they do have it, they'd rather tow the party line, which, I mean, can we just talk very briefly. I know that we've got other countries to cover, but what do you think is going to happen in the aftermath of this indictment? Because obviously, it's not just going to be a presentation of some papers and everybody claps and then goes home, right? There's going to be some action on the back end. Yeah, it's very highly likely that there will be some action based if the last couple of months or any indication they're going to put a bag over his head and extradit him.
Starting point is 00:50:00 They're going to put a bag over his head and remove him from Cuba and bring Raul to the United States where he will face justice at the hands of the United States and they'll probably kill him. Or maybe kill him in the process of extracting him from Cuba. or maybe there will be an attempt to pick him up and then there's a bloody firefight and a cause of action to actually go in and invade in Cuba. Whatever it will be, no doubt will be a massive distraction from everything else that this administration is doing. And you mentioned towing the party line. I do want to give a shout out to Sandro Castro, to Sandro Castro, who is, Del Castro's grandson and a pretty popular influencer on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:50:57 And recently, just to add to, I think this guy's got like 100,000 or 150,000 followers on Instagram. He's an influencer. He's doing all of it. Curiously, 100,000 of them are based in Israel. He's doing all that influencer shit, all of the viral videos that these influencers do. Sandro takes part in it. Recently, CNN decided to do an interview with Sandro and they went over to his apartment and wouldn't you know it that Fidel Castro's grandson during this interview repeatedly mentioned that Cubans want capitalism and he is a capitalist.
Starting point is 00:51:42 And I bring that up because you mentioned towing the party line. What a time to be alive where you have a Castro talking. so glowingly about capitalism. I'll just say, fuck Sandro Castro, fuck Todd Blanche, fuck every single person who is involved in this crime against the Cuban people. Fuck Marco Rubio.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Every single one of these people, Viva Cuba Libre. And please, listener, please hold solidarity in your heart and in your brain. and in your words to your fellow human beings for the people of Cuba as they find themselves in the crosshairs of the evil empire. It is just fucking murder what the United States is doing to Cuba, and it is unforgivable. It is criminal, and it must not be tolerated.
Starting point is 00:52:58 We're more d'u'u' We're with force that nobody is mailed And the past Saturday, is that the government emitio on the deportation of the citizen
Starting point is 00:53:10 Alex Saab. What is your commentary, the respect? No permit we're that they pass to the raya, go to go to the country
Starting point is 00:53:17 has to be first. I want to say to Venezuela, all those Venezuelans and to all the Venezuelans. Any decision that assume the government national
Starting point is 00:53:32 will do it for an interest, that is the interest of Venezuela. Any decision in the And what we've taken Since we've assumed after what was
Starting point is 00:53:43 The 3th of Nero has been for interest of Venezuela Defend to Venezuela No, there's no consideration Alexa And we're, we
Starting point is 00:54:13 We did a measure administrative of deportation Justified in the interests national So the people Venezuelan can't The people
Starting point is 00:54:22 Venezuelan needs of the interest primary and the interest principal is Venezuela. All right, let's continue further down south. Let's go to the mainland of South America and talk about a country that was in the news a bunch in the beginning of the year.
Starting point is 00:54:49 Of course, I'm talking about Venezuela. And now Venezuela does have the connection with Cuba with that radical tradition, the revolutionary tradition that they share. And we're not going to go into that today. We've talked about it at length in our other episodes, but there is that connection with Cuba, this revolutionary tradition, this tradition towards a socialist state. And now Venezuela, of course, was in the news in the beginning of the year because that is when the Trump
Starting point is 00:55:19 administration put a bag over President Nicholas Maduro's head and extracted him from Caracas and brought him to the United States where he has been ever since. awaiting his day in court. And we're not going to talk about that either. We are going to use it as the entry point to sort of do our check-in with Venezuela because it seems that the Venezuela playbook is bearing out exactly as the Trump thugs wanted it to. And that is this model where the administration, the goons in charge, will do some action. In this case, it's the extraction of the president as sort of a show of force as a way to signal to other so-called rational state leaders that beware if you don't do what we say this might be your fate as well and so we're going to
Starting point is 00:56:20 let's check in now about Venezuela and I think a good entry point into our discussion here is the new connection that Venezuela is making with an institution that is very much not a friend of the podcast. Don, you want to take this one? Oh yeah, John J. McCloy's old outfit. Sure. Yeah, so as the listener might be aware, right, the World Bank and the IMF, the so-called Washington Consensus Institutions that effectuate, basically the economic slavery of the global south to the global north through a complex web of forced indebtedness and forced austerity, governmental control. It does date all the way back to the work of that great Reichsman John J. McCloy, whose life and work with the World
Starting point is 00:57:24 Bank we covered extensively. If not listen to those episodes, There's a lot in there. Please go check him out. That's part of our Warren Commission Decided series because wouldn't you know it? Not only did John McCloy free a bunch of Nazi war criminals when he was put in charge of Germany in the 1950s, he also went on to work on the Warren Commission and cover up the murder of John F. Kennedy. Well, the World Bank is still up to its same old shit. and after seven years with no relations with Venezuela under Maduro, it's back, baby.
Starting point is 00:58:06 The World Bank and the IMF are making moves and making deals. The World Bank sent a delegation to Venezuela, which was welcomed by the government. For now, Delci Rodriguez, the president of Venezuela, is acting and speaking as though the country will not get indebted to the IMF. It's not going to take out loans. I think that remains to be seen because, you know, so far it seems to me, at least, that the U.S. and the Western financial interests that it represents, namely the oil companies, right, talking Chevron, Exxon, Mobile, Shell, etc., they have been having a pretty nice time getting their hands on some very, very long-term contracts that would basically read out the Venezuelan people from the profits of that sweet, crude
Starting point is 00:59:13 that sits there underneath the soil of Venezuela. and if there were people that are even worse than the Washington Consensus institutions, well, we found them, folks, and they too are making trips to Venezuela to get their dirty little fingers into its future and into its economy. That's right, folks. Everybody's favorite Nazi fuck, who allegedly, through his boy toy off of a Miami balcony to his death, talking Peter Thiel, the Palantir co-founder, you know him, you hate him, as well as Coinbase co-founder, the American
Starting point is 01:00:05 billionaire and Trump buddy Fred Ersom. Those two guys have also been making junkets down Venezuela way and have been speaking with both the government leaders and the central bankers of Venezuela about transitioning the economy into the digital age, transitioning the Venezuelan banking system and transaction system into digital and digital currencies and making room for the development of the tech sector in Venezuela, the development of data centers. and all the fucking rest of it. Now, if there was any doubt that the country of Venezuela has been reduced to little more than what we'll call a vassal state
Starting point is 01:00:57 for the Trump administration for the United States, whereby this country of Venezuela is now willing to do anything, willing to bend the knee and acquiesce to any one of the Trump administration's demand, If there was any doubt that that was happening, this next headline should eliminate those minimal doubts. And the news here is that on May 16th, Alex Saab, the former Ministry of Industry under the Maduro government, he was brought to the United States, extradited to the United States by the American government, government in the United States with the blessing of the Delci Rodriguez government. Now, in that audio clip, we had just a moment ago, we had that mashup where Delci was the one speaking,
Starting point is 01:01:50 talking about Alex Sabin, saying that this guy, he's just a Colombian, and he was in Venezuela, and the United States had a deportation order, and, well, we just acquiesced as an administrative matter. We are looking out for the best interest of the Venezuelan people. So of course we acquiesced. Now, what is Alex Saab being brought to the United States for? What is the reason for him being brought to so-called justice here in the US of A? Well, on a single count charge, they are, the government is saying that Alex Saab is responsible for a scheme. The scheme is that He was responsible for money laundering and for bribery in connection with some work he did years ago, whereby he was bringing in food hundreds of millions of dollars worth of food and supplies into the country.
Starting point is 01:02:50 And when he did that, apparently, allegedly, he was skimming off the top. Now, this is what they've brought him. This is what they've brought him to the United States for. and we will see how this plays out. I would just to provide a little bit more context around it, you know, that's the way that the story is told in the U.S. media and in the indictment itself and, you know, as reported by the fawning propagandists who serve the administration.
Starting point is 01:03:22 But as a matter of fact, this so-called scheme, this so-called money laundering conspiracy, The position of the Venezuelan government is that he should have diplomatic immunity and that really the allegations against him are an attempt to criminalize what was actually Saabs and the Maduro administration's efforts to feed the people of Venezuela, to import food around the sanctions regime that had been put. in place by the United States. So there was, you know, creativity in the establishment of these entities to arrange and provide for that importation when, in fact, you know, I think there's
Starting point is 01:04:16 real questions as to the legitimacy of these charges. And he had previously been incarcerated in the U.S. but was released by the U.S. by Biden. And what I'm not sure is how it's going to work, I think that his release, that Biden issued a pardon in connection with that release. And the prisoner swap under which he was released was for those guys involved in the so-called Bay of Piglets, right? That goofy-ass little fake and failed coup attempt that the CIA ran in Venezuela several years back. those special ops guys or ex-special ops, whatever they were, were released in exchange for Saab. And now, with no price in return other than the non-intervention of the United States and the well-being of Delci Rodriguez and her inner circle, that is why they have now handed Saab back.
Starting point is 01:05:26 over to the United States voluntarily. Now again, it bears noting that Delci Rodriguez disavowed Alex Saab, but she called him a Colombian, someone born in Colombia, who, in her view, was harming the Venezuelan people, had nothing to do with Venezuela and was not welcome there. And she characterized this extraction of this foreign national into the United States. She characterized that as like an administrative deportation proceeding where the U.S. business to handle with this guy. He's not a Venezuelan. And so she got out of the way. It was an administrative matter that she really had no real control over. That's a bunch of bullshit, of course.
Starting point is 01:06:08 She is doing nothing more than carrying water for the United States. She is doing this thing that I was saying she's serving as the head of this vassal state. And really what it's showing is that the Trump administration will not stop with just Maduro. In fact, he's going after others in Maduro's government. The whole Bolivarian revolution. Right. The entire Bolivarian revolution, the entire idea that there can be a socialist movement so close to the United States, so close here in our Western hemisphere. And so if there's any doubt that Venezuela is shaking out to be this pawn in that scheme and that giant scheme, this should be proof. Yeah, there was even the reporting that Trump was very seriously considering trying to make
Starting point is 01:07:03 Venezuela the 51st state of the United States, which is obviously it's like preposterous. But according to the Fox News reporter that broke the story, it was a serious consideration. And of course, it gave Delci the opportunity to say that will never happen and gain some bona fides in her defense of Venezuelan sovereignty. But, you know, this is a controversial subject now. You see a lot of debate among the left, people on one side saying that, in fact, Delci is just doing what she has to do. to prevent an even worse outcome for the Venezuelan people. And you can't fault her for her cooperation with Trump. And on the other side, people saying that, you know,
Starting point is 01:08:03 she is effectively selling out the Venezuelan people to this corrupt imperial regime. And I find it very hard to fall on the former side of that divide. I mean, I just think that, Compare it, obviously Venezuela is not Iran, but, you know, sitting here in the comfort of the imperial core, it is hard to imagine any way out of this hell world that we are already in and getting even deeper into that doesn't involve real unification of a strong anti-imperialist block to oppose this aggression from the United States and without that unification, without that real coming together to, if not replicate, at least approximate the counterbalancing force that
Starting point is 01:09:08 the Soviet Union once upon a time posed to the United States, a countervailing force that China has chosen not to embody, right? It's playing the long game, of course, which can say what you will about it. But it certainly is not doing what the USSR used to do in terms of supporting liberation movements, in terms of opposing the United States and standing up for the oppressed peoples of the world. And, you know, of course, the USSR didn't do so perfectly by any means. It didn't do so consistently all the time. But it definitely did so a hell of a lot more than any country or agglomeration of countries is doing today.
Starting point is 01:10:04 And so, you know, I don't know. What do you think, Dick? What do you think about this rock in a hard place that the Venezuelan government finds itself? Oh, man, I don't have very much faith in an improvement at all. You know, in the past on this podcast, we have called the Trump administration's foreign policy, one that is very much informed by rape. And I will say that its relationship with Venezuela is very much a toxic relationship. So one of an abuser who has taken control of another state, taken control,
Starting point is 01:10:41 and is now manipulating that state to its own. own pleasures to meet its own ends and for the U.S., for the Trump administration, what that goal is effectively, as with Cuba, is to destroy this revolutionary tradition, this radical tradition, and to eliminate any last hope of a people's socialist movement in the Western Hemisphere. And for now, at least, it seems like Venezuela will abide. that does not make me feel good. But what does make me feel good is the news that is coming out of Bolivia. So why don't we turn to that country next?
Starting point is 01:11:27 Yeah, I mean, that's exactly kind of what you were just saying, where the U.S. is bringing to bear to try and snuff out the final embers of the movement to socialism, the Maas party of Evo Morales, which is still the biggest opposition bloc, even though the country is now in firm right-wing hands, but the neoliberal austerity measures and reforms that the right-wing government has implemented have caused a resurgence of that popular spirit most carried by the indigenous communities of Bolivia, the indigenous communities that supported Evo Morales while in power, and that have so inspirationally organized, for example, against the privatization of water way back in the
Starting point is 01:13:09 early 2000s, right? There, again, was that quite a good fictionalized portrayal of it. That movie, Tambien La Juvia, even The Rain, also starring Gail Garcia-Bernal, by the way.
Starting point is 01:13:26 And, you know, it's, it is inspirational to see that people are putting their lives on the line to defend Evo from being kidnapped and murdered by the United States.
Starting point is 01:13:42 The U.S. has activated its proxy freak Javier Milay, who's sending all kinds of equipment and I think maybe even some reinforcements to the repressive forces of the Bolivian government to help out with the suppression of protests. And, you know, it's another situation where it's yet to be determined what the outcome will be, but it bears keeping in mind in this general picture of things,
Starting point is 01:14:14 right, where you have a popular base, an actual organized popular base that's a lot harder to destroy than just a government, right? You can take out a government that's centralized in one place that is centralized in the hands of some number of individuals, but when the masses are organized as in Bolivia. They have historically been, even though that organization has been undermined and chipped away at, it's a lot harder to destroy them. And, you know, you see in the other countries, that's a difference between Bolivia and places that have gone full fascists like Ecuador under Noboa, U.S. puppet. and in Chile under the fascist Nazi government of Kast, who we talked about,
Starting point is 01:15:15 remember actual son of a fucking SS veteran and Argentina, of course, where Trump bought the election for his fascist friend. So, you know, eyes on Bolivia as on all these other places. And, you know, I think part of what this episode and part of what our message is here is that it's so imperative to hold multiple thoughts in your head at the same time, to pay attention to multiple situations at the same time, to not let the distraction machine just consist of this lighthouse-like beam that spot. lights one thing at a time and then moves on to the other thing and memory holes whatever came before. It is an effortful process, especially when these little machines that we carry around in our pockets, these little surveillance distraction machines are neurologically rewiring our brains so that we're physically incapable of doing so. But it's an essential component of building.
Starting point is 01:16:33 that consciousness that is prerequisite to any sort of political organization that can defeat these nefarious, nefarious forces that we're up against. We are going to round out today's episode by traveling north, heading into Central America and to discuss one of the countries that is part of the so-called Northern Triangle, what has sometimes been called the Triangle of Death, because of its relationship with gang violence. I am talking about Honduras, the nation of Honduras, has historically been a victim of gang violence at the hand of MS-13,
Starting point is 01:18:19 the Mada Salvatrucha gang, and the 18th Street gang. Now, these gangs, for those of you, you in the know, will know that these gangs are actually originated in the United States. MS-13, for example, was a prison gang that started in Southern California, in the prisons in California, and was then exported to countries like Honduras, and these gangs meted out untold violence on the people of Honduras, extorting residents, selling drugs, meeting out violence, and they effectively served as the de facto government in Honduras for many, many years. There was, of course, a crackdown of this in around about 2022,
Starting point is 01:19:06 similar to what was going on in El Salvador and Buckele's regime. But that's not what we're talking about today, just laying the scene setting that Honduras is another one of these countries that has been and continues to be, suffering at the hands of something that is, you know, the United States's fault effectively, right? Now, one thing to point out before we get into it is Honduras is actually one of, if I think, not the poorest country in our hemisphere, in the Western Hemisphere. So it's a country with very minimal resources.
Starting point is 01:19:45 It's a country that has fallen victim to the oppression of the United States. and this story, I think it's one that I found interested when we were talking about just a bit off air, Don, I found it interesting. I don't really know much about it, so could you please give us a lay of the land here? Yeah, so really we just have time to scratch the surface on it because it is a pretty epic story. And, you know, I encourage folks to go and check it out. there's a really good website created by the folks that broke this story. We'll link it in the show notes. But the story is under the title of Honduras Gate.
Starting point is 01:20:31 And essentially what happened was that there were a number of voice notes, voice memos, WhatsApp, voice recordings, telegram recordings, and other sorts of communications. between the elite politicians in Honduras, showing them conspiring with the U.S., with Israel, and amongst themselves, to basically take power for their own corrupt purposes and to advance this agenda that we have been conceiving as a sort of Planned Condor 2.0.
Starting point is 01:21:18 And we talked again about Planned Condor with Mo Tassick. In the Mafiocracy episode, you can listen to that for a little background. It was the CIA coordinated agglomeration of military dictatorships in the 1970s, in particular, that was sort of a fascist axis, that joined forces to suppress the left under the banner of anti-communism and murder thousands and thousands of people, assassinate leaders and prevent any sort of a democratic groundswell against these corrupt narco states that existed at the time.
Starting point is 01:22:08 And we're seeing a very similar phenomenon, although, you know, now instead of wearing, jingly, jangly military uniforms with all those metals hanging down, they are wearing suits and ties. Some of them are practicing law. Some of them are wearing robes of judges, and they are achieving and pursuing the very same ends. So to make the long story short and just kind of give the 30,000 foot view, and maybe this bears doing a whole episode just of its own on this subject. But basically what we see is that, one, any doubts that there were about U.S. interference in the elections in Honduras last year have been resolved in
Starting point is 01:23:02 favor of certainty that, yes, Donald Trump did, and the United States government did influence and affect the outcome of that election as part of this larger agenda to put a real strong foothold for the empire in Honduras. And not just for the government, but that is a part of it, because building and expanding U.S. military presence in Honduras is part of this agenda, to be sure, but that's not all. It is also to advance the interests of the very same tech billionaires that we mentioned were making trips to Venezuela, talking about Peter Thiel himself,
Starting point is 01:23:52 talking about other tech billionaires like Mark Andreessen, Sam Altman, the Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, and all of these transhumanist freaks who, are the embodiment today of the Epstein class. And, you know, that I think is a solid evidence point that the Epstein class is by no means exclusively Jewish with folks like the Nazi Peter Thiel. So how are they going about this plan? Well, first, recall, as we discussed, right, Juan Orlando Hernandez used to be president of Honduras, extreme right-wing. guy came to power in the wake of a U.S.-backed coup against the leftist president Juan Manuel
Starting point is 01:24:46 Celaya. Not immediately, but some years later, he was ushered in to the presidency, and he ran it like his personal piggy bank and worked very closely with drug traffickers so much so and so recklessly that he was extradited to the U.S. and convicted by a jury on several counts of drug trafficking and sentenced to 45 years in U.S. federal prison. 45 years. That is a heavy, heavy sentence. His brother, Tony, was sentenced to life for involvement in this drug trafficking conspiracy. So these are major kingpins. We're not talking. We're not talking. about small fish and again convicted by a jury in Miami right one of the most right-wing jury
Starting point is 01:25:44 pools in the United States and nevertheless they got this guy's number and put him into the whooskow but of course when Donald Trump got elected he got a presidential pardon and is now free and after his freedom he's making these calls that are getting leaked now as part of this Honduras gate to the current president, a guy by the name of Tito Asfura, another right winger from the same far-right political party. And first I just mentioned that, Dick, do you want to read this truth social post that Trump posted on the eve of the Honduran election to give the listener a little sense of the nature of his involvement and influencing it. If Tito Asphura wins for President of Honduras, because the United States has so much confidence in him,
Starting point is 01:26:46 his policies and what he will do for the great people of Honduras, we will be very supportive. If he doesn't win, the United States will not be throwing good money after bad because, A wrong leader can only bring catastrophic results to a country, no matter which country it is. Tito will be a great president, and the United States will work closely with him in order to ensure the success with all of its potential of Honduras. Additionally, I will be granting a full and complete pardon to former president, Juan Orlando Hernandez, who has been, according to many people that I greatly respect, treated very harshly and very unfairly. This cannot be allowed to happen, especially now
Starting point is 01:27:41 after Tito Asforah wins the election when Honduras will be on its way to great political and financial success. Vote for Tida Asfora for president, and congratulations to Juan Orlando Hernandez on your upcoming pardon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. May Kong, is great again, President Donald J. Trump. A lot in there.
Starting point is 01:28:12 Yeah, yeah. There sure is. But it is just so funny, I guess, is the word, although it's really not that funny, if you think about it just because it's so fucked up, that once upon a time, you know, there was a quaint period of time, Seems not so long ago when the notion of foreign interference in elections was a big no-no.
Starting point is 01:28:38 You remember that? Oh, yeah. And yeah, here we have just right out there in the open and behind the scenes as well, because the election itself was basically put up to a media debate because it was declared too close to call and long story short you know there appears to have been some fraud as well in tipping the scales in favor of Tito Asfura needless to say in one of these leaked recordings Juan Orlando Hernandez is saying to Tiroas Fura basically hey you know I'm waiting for my favors because if it wasn't for me you wouldn't be president this
Starting point is 01:29:29 was the deal we arranged with Trump. And on other of the recordings, the current president of Honduras, the current vice president of Honduras, and Juan Orlando Hernandez are communicating about creating a misinformation network among the press of Latin America to launch false accusations against their enemies in other Latin American countries, the enemies of the global ruling class, talking about Claudia Scheinbaum in Mexico, Lula in Brazil, and Gustavo Petro in Colombia. So for them, it certainly is a continental agenda, and it's backed by the two most evil countries in the entire world, being U.S. and Israel. And in some of the other ones, he says, yeah, the Prime Minister of Israel has been a great help to us as well,
Starting point is 01:30:32 and also Millet is going to be a big help to us. And in response, Asfuda says, oh, thank you, Mr. President. I'm so happy to hear from you. And we're having meetings with investors, and we're going to expand these special economic zones, and we're going to make an interoceanic train connecting the coast, and we're going to give it to GE and the investors are very excited and this is where you know the fact of what Bolanyo was writing about in 2666 22 years ago with the situation in Mexico and just the hopelessness of it all really does bring one down to hear about how these people right out there in the open, you know, they're denying that it's their voice and whatever, you know, it's been suppressed in the media. Certainly, I'm sure none of the
Starting point is 01:31:39 mainstream outlets that are busy braying for war against Cuba have had time to cover this. And it's just been wiped out of memory before it even got there in the front. first place. It's a scandal that never was in a way. And it's not hard to tell why, because who are the beneficiaries of expanding these special economic zones? Well, obviously, they are these same fucking freaks. And again, it's like, not only do they want these places to destroy the environment in the tropics, which has already been degraded. beyond repair most probably i mean something that will take decades to restore if not centuries uh not only will they permit a level of exploitation of some of the poorest people on the planet and i'm sure many many
Starting point is 01:32:42 more deaths too remember honduras like syudahuares before it was the site of one of the highest murder rates in the world at the height of the gang warfare that was fueling so much of the northward migration out of Central America. But also, they're setting up these experiment facilities, medical experimentation facilities. For example, everybody's favorite piece of shit defier of death, Brian Johnson went to one of these facilities in Honduras reportedly. They're doing experiments in immortality. They're doing all kinds of MK shit
Starting point is 01:33:31 that would be unthinkable in the United States. And they appear poised to expand. And without that organized population to take them on, it really becomes, incumbent upon those of us in the Imperial Corps to make these facts known. So please, you know, check out Hondurasgate. Check out the leaks.
Starting point is 01:34:06 There's just very impressive, I thought, compelling, sort of showing the work as to how the audio recordings were verified, that they were authentic. And, you know, in an age where the proliferation of AI slop is such that anybody can deny anything and say, that wasn't me, that was a deep fake, it is important to kind of use claims to the truth while we still can, because the window on the very truth itself is slamming shut in our faces. and we are becoming literally ill-equipped. And I mean that as a cognitive matter. Like our brains are changing in ways that prohibit us from understanding the world that we live in. And, you know, I, for one, would rather be a human being than cattle. yet it is cattle that they want to make us into.
Starting point is 01:35:22 And it's not to invoke the goy cattle metaphor as like a Jewish and goyish dichotomy here. This is, again, a ruling class freaks versus everybody else dichotomy. and it's no accident that Israel has its grubby little pause in Latin America as well. It always has, indeed, dating back to the days of Iran-Contra when it was training the death squads, you know, in Guatemala, in El Salvador, in Nicaragua, in Honduras. And today, again, this, you could call it the axis of jesus. genocide, which is really just, you know, the U.S., Israel, their Latin American allies, certainly, the countries that we named before, and they are seeking not only to stamp out the spirit
Starting point is 01:36:27 of humanity that burns in the souls of the masses of people throughout the world, but they're seeking to make it, you know, salt the earth over that flame and make it so that never again will it burn to the advancement of beauty, of truth, of justice, of life. And I'll be fucked if I'm going to just sit back and throw my hands up and say, well, what can we do about it? It doesn't mean that I know what to do about it, but God damn it, we better do something and fast. All right, friends, we are at the hour and a half March. here and it seems like a good place to leave you. Thank you very much for tuning in. Join us next week where we will no doubt discuss something current, something historical, some theory, maybe some
Starting point is 01:37:27 practical application of that theory. Who knows? Remember, it's just Don and I here and you all and we are going to do whatever feels right. And in the meantime, please do take care of yourselves, take care of each other and take care of those around you. For now, I am Dick. I am Don. Saying farewell. And keep on digging.
Starting point is 01:38:05 Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So
