Starting point is 00:00:00 We won out! We won out! We won out! Big episode. Mexico is dope, though. Oh, yeah, we did a lot of steak in Mexico. What did... Crazy streams. What was the Well doing out there?
Starting point is 00:00:13 I had her out for... Dude, people wanted her in the streams. Yeah? Fucking running, sweeping Anza, and all the comments are, yo, where's Noelle? So called her, got her out there. She might have been bad luck, though. You guys lost? She got on the next flight out.
Starting point is 00:00:26 I think when we gamble, we can't focus on the views. have the chicks we just got to have just the boys yeah if you're trying to win you have to dial in no distractions yeah because then you start firing like he did three 100 k spins in a row like it was crazy what dude it was because bro okay spins yeah three in a row though because if you hit it's hitting yeah but if you but if you but it doesn't it didn't hit don't you don't you fuck yeah oh that's so terrified yeah you did it on stream oh i would have watched that that's A hundred K blackjack hands, too. Oh, God, that's devastating.
Starting point is 00:01:02 Did you come up or no? I think we went out even. Or like plus 10-k. It's a win. That's fun because it's just fun. You got to enjoy the time. Breaking even is a win. This is pretty dope, though, the baby.
Starting point is 00:01:13 I don't think he's like, has he done anything since even that like rolling loud shit? Since the whole like, yeah. I don't think so. In terms of interviews, no. No. Like this is a really crazy guess A huge get for us I think everybody knows
Starting point is 00:01:31 We wanted to do him for a minute He was one of the first people you think of Who would you want to come on? The baby Damn It's dope I'm glad I'm here for this one Yeah, it's gonna be good Fucking dope
Starting point is 00:01:40 And I uh I know his bodyguard real well Don't do your takeover bullshit bro What takeover bullshit? I'm just here chilling Okay I'm just letting you know I asked him I said is anything off limits And he said just don't involve my kids
Starting point is 00:01:50 Oh yeah And that's it So I mean he's pretty much Yeah he's a pretty controversial guy though no he is very he is he's shot a trespasser what did he say at rolling loud should we should probably know that but it was definitely a little edgy right i think it was something about sucking dick maybe yeah he was something about like sending like if you're something like get out of here if you're doing that if you're yeah we could find out
Starting point is 00:02:14 he basically said like no gay shit in the audience exactly yeah or in the in the yeah i mean he was trying to kiss a fan and a fan wasn't into it apparently That's another viral thing. I don't want to get on his bad side because I'm a huge fan. Bradley, maybe you take the hard hitting ones this time. Okay. So you never really go that route.
Starting point is 00:02:30 The baby's the one guy that would like scrap Brad though, eh? Yeah, but you have a good shit. You're fine. He would. You have him. He feels like he scraps everyone. That's like that's his thing.
Starting point is 00:02:40 Like he gets him all the time. Well, just don't. He might hit you with an elbow. You got to be the bad guy this time. You always try to be the good guy. Bro, I just be me. I'm not trying to be any guy.
Starting point is 00:02:49 I'm just the guy asking you. You the bullshit. Yo, let me get really deep and connect with you. Just come on, bro. Ask the tough ones. I just like a fucking hater. Because I have to ask the tough ones. I fucking hate it, dude.
Starting point is 00:02:58 I'm scared. What are you scared of? What are you scared of? I hope he's about that. I hope he comes with his bodyguard. His bodyguard's my homie. Is he? Kane, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:07 How do you know him? You know all the bodyguards. I know all the bodyguards. It's true now. Yeah, we used to film videos back in the day too. Work out a little bit here and there. What bodyguards do you know? All of them.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Who's Chris Browns? yeah dude i met all i met all the subways i met has been through like through uh bodyguards because bodyguards obviously into the gym they're into working out they're into training and they'll like find me because they're into that shit on social and then i'll end up developing a relationship if they come to the gym and a lot of them are in that area so they end up there so like all the guards who work with like drake all of them like fucking kim kardash and all that shit do they juice or no yeah i feel like there's a huge what what's app for all the juice gym heads oh what's app?
Starting point is 00:03:50 Yeah, is there? Probably telegram. Yeah, like a telegram. That's how you guys are all connected. Also, how's Miami not a la, Steve will do it? It's fun, man. It's gonna be back, yeah. You gotta buy new watches.
Starting point is 00:04:02 Yeah, we're not gonna get into that. You can't wear the hand-me-downs. Steve took your watch? Yeah. Yeah. It's okay. He made me take it. Yeah, that's fucked up, bro.
Starting point is 00:04:10 Like, why do you have to do that? Not even on camera? No, not even on camera. Brad, like in the back of his head, he's like, well, do I need to get more Steve will do it titles or not? Like, do I need it? That's what you're thinking. Pass my phone.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Now you're upgraded. You got your own shit. Yeah. Yeah. Doesn't it feel better to get like it does? It does. How much was I watched? 15,000?
Starting point is 00:04:26 A little more. 18. Yeah. Yeah. I knew that. I also know how much that chain was. Yeah. I mean, I don't want to talk about that yet.
Starting point is 00:04:35 Yeah. I'm waiting for the baby to talk about that. Okay. I'll talk about it with him. You think mine'll, this will be bigger than his? I don't, I don't think he's going to have a chain on.
Starting point is 00:04:42 What if he gets pissed about that? I don't think he's going to have a chain off. you want to make a bet let's make a bet right now let's make a bet okay one thousand bucks a thousand bucks he has a chain on okay okay come and shake my hand any chain of any sort yeah well he get i'm talking about this yeah a thousand dollars and if he does i want to get paid right after the pod hogg this is tough you can't make the bet i i like your odds i think he's gonna i think he's coming on here to la combo okay yep boom but I'm going with that.
Starting point is 00:05:18 You really think so? Yeah, and just send it to Time Piece for my commitment plan. Damn it, bro. Yeah, for the watch. It's not paid off. You're dropping Timepiece ads like crazy. No, I'm not, bro.
Starting point is 00:05:27 What's going on there? What's going on there? Hell, dude? There's nothing going on, bro. I swear, there's nothing going on. Is that how much you got? No, it was 18, bro. Yeah, but the hoodie.
Starting point is 00:05:36 You get 15K for the hoodie? I got nothing for the hoodie, bro. I said, yo, here's a hoodie on the way out. I said, yo, I have no clothes. I'm going to wear it. That's dope. You don't have a shirt on? Yeah, I have a shirt
Starting point is 00:05:44 It wasn't like official though But it was probably at like 20K And then he's like 18 bro And I'll rock the hoodie on the bottom I only shirt That's what Steinie does That's the only shirt I had He's the only shirt just in case
Starting point is 00:05:55 No I don't That's hilarious Because earlier Literally like 20 minutes before this pot I saw you wearing completely different outfit You're a cap but I showered before this You're a capper bro You're a fucking chaffir
Starting point is 00:06:06 Shut up dude Oh God I love it Whatever shout out timepiece trading They're always taking care of us Those are our boys They're dope straight up i'm gonna do that though i think that's a move is to get a i know we're going back but to get a crazy like kung fu fighter security just to have that nobody knows he's security but he's
Starting point is 00:06:23 in the squad and he can fuck shit up just like just like sleeper like it would be lit to roll around around like bruce lee is in the squad but no one knows though man chris is the best he's a great security guard is six nine the dude's fucking have you met the baby uh Have you? I don't think so. I met him one time. Yeah, we're at. At the design district.
Starting point is 00:06:47 I asked him to come on the show. This show. Yeah. And what do he say? He was like with his family. He was like, yeah, hold the security guard. But it wasn't that guy because it wasn't that big. But whoever he was with, get the info.
Starting point is 00:06:59 We'll check it out. Never heard from him. Yeah. But I had to try. How did this one come about? So I was fucking hammered an OC at this place called Bungalow. Okay, I heard of it. It was a club.
Starting point is 00:07:11 and then this guy just walks up to me and he paid for my booth. He paid for the table, yeah. We were leaving and he paid for the table. He's like, his name's Tyler and he does the baby's merch. And he does NBA Young Boys merch, Rodman's shit.
Starting point is 00:07:28 So he's like a huge, just huge clothing guy in OC. And then we were just connecting the next day, I thanked him and shit. And then he said, he told me that he does the baby shit. Yeah. And then I said,
Starting point is 00:07:40 he's like, on the pod i was like fuck yeah was this recent then it was like yeah it's pretty recent yeah probably like a week or two ago or less that's pretty crazy when did you guys go out in l-a it was that night yeah like a week ago yeah like a week ago and then he's like i was like how do we do it and shit and then he said i just kept kind of you got to stay on top of them like yeah when can we do it when can we do it when can we do it and then uh he's like the baby's out there right now he said he's down and we're like all right fuck let's do it i'm a huge man but yeah we had to wait around a while right it was
Starting point is 00:08:11 supposed to go down last night. Yeah. And then it was supposed to be like three or four. And now he's saying seven or eight. He's probably going to show up at like midnight. Yeah. Yeah, it's going to be tomorrow at three or four. No.
Starting point is 00:08:23 The rappers are just like, that's the thing with the pod. You just got to be on standby. It makes sense. Like, he knows we're going to be ready whenever he's ready. So he's like, fuck off. If you want the best guess, you got to act. Fucking quick. And you just got to be like ready.
Starting point is 00:08:38 You know what I mean? You were in Kodak's living room for five hours. five hours yeah what the fuck chilling with his family and shit eating deep fried pickles like when you're at kodak's house you're not going to leave until you get that episode because you're at his place you know so it's different rappers are on rapper time
Starting point is 00:08:55 yeah it's true it's a real thing it's like fuck it they're like whatever time i want to do it i'm gonna do it i want to see him live to baby he goes pretty ham at his concerts you watch him i've seen a shit i heard that he's not getting booked a lot though right now in miami he's doing rolling loud is he oh right yeah on friday is it is it because of the controversial shit or what
Starting point is 00:09:16 yeah but I think like that was like a year ago and fuck if we don't go to Croatia we should fucking yeah you have to Croatia so I hate Andrew Tate God damn it dude it's up to you you're welcome to come why do you have that reaction I uh I don't go to Kroy I mean I hit Andrew Tate and I said
Starting point is 00:09:35 we got to come out and he's like what are you doing and then he's like There's this thing called Yacht Week. Oh, God. So you get on a yacht and you island hop for seven days. I've heard of it. So I posted a story, and then the Yacht Week actually hit me, hit us back. So they might set us up with like a free yacht.
Starting point is 00:09:54 So he said he's down to do a pod. And then I also said, yo, let's do a Nelk video. Because no one's, like, everyone's doing him over Zoom, but no one knows what he's like, his lifestyle is like. So, like, if we go and film a Nelk video, I think I want to know, bang. You go crazy. I want to know how that. if he's actually, if he's capping about his lifestyle
Starting point is 00:10:12 or if he's actually, like, that rich. He claimed he's a trillionaire. Obviously, that's not real. A trillionaire. Yeah, that's obviously not true. Yeah, he did. Well, he trolls, but like, I want to see, like, what is he at, what's his lifestyle actually like?
Starting point is 00:10:26 Yeah. Because I don't know how he fucking makes his money. Well, I know he makes a fuck ton of money on that, like, whatever hustlers thing is, the thing that he does on the internet now. So what does he do? What's that? Well, how he got all these people posting about him was basically like, He, like, he, like, created this website where you could sign up to, like, almost use his content to generate views.
Starting point is 00:10:48 I don't know if it's for AdSense or for whatever it's for. But that's how, that's why you see him everywhere. Because everyone's posting about him. Yeah, so, like, a part of his course is, like, use me for content. And your page will grow. And your page will grow. Whoa. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:11:02 But anyone could do that. Yeah, but he did. No, but he could do that. He's, he's so clickable that it's perfect. Yeah. I mean, he made himself clickable. He says such crazy shit That's a huge win-win
Starting point is 00:11:12 Yeah, it's fucking amazing I mean anyone could do that Anyone could No one's done it Because TikTok's so interesting Because the small people go viral Yeah, dude So if you have
Starting point is 00:11:21 But do you have to give people Permission to post you like that No, you don't have to give permission But you could just tell them I can do it fucking So he probably makes specific clips For specific pages No, he's just shooting content
Starting point is 00:11:33 For like that his platform And also podcasts that we're seeing Or like Shit we're seeing on the internet that he's like doing his own podcast type shit and then people are using that content and like putting clips and just because it's become this like snowball effect
Starting point is 00:11:46 it just keeps gathering steam which is why we're fucking talking about it. I feel like you guys will be boys. Probably. I called him today. He seems really cool. So if you guys are watching this right now in two days we're probably
Starting point is 00:11:58 flying to Croatia and we're going to yacht island hop with Andrew Tate for three days. God damn it. See what he's like? I want to spend time of my dogs man. Probably. Dogs are Andrew Tate in Croatia for three days.
Starting point is 00:12:11 The fuck? That's the lamest thing I've ever heard. That's your call. What are you, beta? I can't miss that one, though. It's like, I can't miss that one. I think, like. But we're not going to do the girl thing.
Starting point is 00:12:22 We're not going to bring the girls. What girls? For like the, you know, we were talking about having a podcast with him and like. Oh, I don't think so. Okay. I want to watch that guy. I mean, we could try. I want to see that guy hit on a girl like, no cameras.
Starting point is 00:12:34 Just see what his game is like. He told me three different ways on the phone to bring chase. Well, can you tell them or no? Huh? Three different ways? Kind of. No, like, he just said it. Like, he's like, yeah, get your yacht and, like, bring chicks on your yacht and like, then he, like, said it again.
Starting point is 00:12:47 He's like, oh, oh, I thought he was giving you. I guess he's, like, pretty much saying, like, yo, don't make sure your yacht's not dust. Oh, I thought he was saying, I got three strategies. Yeah. Well, he doesn't want to be on camera on chicks. Yeah, maybe bring, like, four guys, then, like, fill it with chicks. Like, I was like, oh, fuck, all right. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:13:02 It's expensive, though. How do we bring chicks to Croatia? Can you just find them there? Find him in Croatia? We can. That's got to leave. I got that. Oh, you got that.
Starting point is 00:13:10 You got that. Yeah, I'll take leave on that. You worry about other bullshit. You worry about senior dog on FaceTime. I'll take care of the chicks. Yeah. I'll miss my dog, man. Fuck, it's tough.
Starting point is 00:13:20 I think it would be epic, though. What? I think it'd be epic. No. Are we getting like an actual emergency alert? It's like flood warning. Tsunamis coming. Imagine.
Starting point is 00:13:32 The baby pulled the fire alarm? Yeah. It's a buying time. Tsunami a warning. Bro, Croatia, though. Where is that? Where the fuck is that? I called Carnage.
Starting point is 00:13:46 It's next to Greece. Because he's always there, right? 16 hours then. Yeah, it's a far-house flight. I called Carnage, and he said, it's like, if you want to go to a place that doesn't even look like the fucking world, like go there. Like, he said, it's so beautiful.
Starting point is 00:14:00 What does it look like? It's just dope. Book Club on Monday. Jim on Tuesday. Date night on Wednesday. Out on the town on Thursday. Quiet night in on Friday. It's good to have a routine.
Starting point is 00:14:19 And it's good for your eyes too. Because with regular comprehensive eye exams at Specsavers, you'll know just how healthy they are. Visit Spexavers.cavers.cai to book your next eye exam. I exams provided by independent optometrists. Why does it matter? Why would you turn that down? No, I'm not...
Starting point is 00:14:38 Dude, I just... What else you really got going on? You got some bullshit. Dude, I have a lot of shit going on. You got to compete with Andrew, too. Like, if he's working on something, you got to interfere. And Jim bro, him on his chick, yeah. And try and swoop.
Starting point is 00:14:50 If he's competing on a girl? Yeah. Oh, I'll take that no problem. I think he might fuck you up, though. He's a kickboxer, wasn't he? I don't give a fuck. Oh, fuck. Search up that island that starts with an H.
Starting point is 00:15:00 It's like Havar or some shit. It actually, this actually sounds like a really good. time. Shaggy. HB.E.R. What? I look like a vagina. What the hell?
Starting point is 00:15:14 You see that? Little hair on top. The trees? Is it just me? I wish this was on camera right now. It is amazing. Holy shit. Where the fuck is Croatia?
Starting point is 00:15:29 Yeah, pull up a map. Is this like a... There's a lot of Croatian. I have a lot of Croatian friends. In Canada. Really? Oh, it's by Italy. That makes sense.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Mediterranean. Boom. Wow. That actually makes so much sense. So far. It's extremely out of the way. Fucking Croatia, bro. Bro, it's probably gorgeous there.
Starting point is 00:15:55 I like these spontaneous trips like that where you just don't know what's going to happen. Italy is so beautiful. So this is the Mediterranean. It's fucking incredible. I thought you and Dan. Dan B fucking went there, bro. He does. Me and Dan B went with 10 models, fucking.
Starting point is 00:16:09 Oh, you and Dan B? No, I'm saying you. Yeah, we went to Thailand. Oh, okay. Yeah, we didn't go to Croatia. That was fun. Holy shit. This would be crazy, though.
Starting point is 00:16:18 I hope it goes down. Does he have girls out there like that, or is like, we got to bring you girls? I don't know. That's what I'm saying. He's not like Dan B like that. He doesn't have to go. He's not going to give us girls. But, I mean, we could try to pick up girls, what?
Starting point is 00:16:31 This is where we would be going? Really. Really? Yo, I think the baby shot somebody inside of Walmart. He shot someone recently, didn't he? Yeah, at his house recently. This happened a long time ago. Walmart was like three or four years ago, but there's like new footage.
Starting point is 00:16:46 Yeah, I saw that earlier today. You should probably know that. It's four years ago, 2018, but there's new, like, footage of it. Yeah, I saw that. Damn, he killed him here today. Yeah, he killed that guy. Fuck, what the fuck. Yo, Gabe, you got to pat him down when he comes in here into security.
Starting point is 00:17:00 You have to do a pat down. Yo, can we agree that Gabe need to just like pat him down and Gabe act like you're our security, which isn't a good look for us. He's not afraid. I'm afraid. Yeah, but he's coming to a party. He can come here and fucking shoot us.
Starting point is 00:17:13 He didn't go to Walmart to shoot anybody. He went to their party to get a new fucking LED TV and he fucking killed a guy. Yeah, no, I don't know if that's exactly what happened. I think it's a little more complicated than that, but I mean, he's not going to walk in here and be like, what are you looking at and then trying to shoot us?
Starting point is 00:17:26 I mean, he might not like you. You have the highest odds of being shot by the baby. I'm just saying? Whatever, I'll take that. As long as I don't die, fuck it. shot by the just like take one shot yeah nice I feel like you're frail like if you guys shot you die really quickly
Starting point is 00:17:41 yeah for sure bleed out fast no one would do anything to help save me like no I'd help you'd fucking yap my Cuban it's my bitch no no if you died I would yeah that's okay and I give it back to fucking meal because it's a fucking loner you're just wearing bet me a thousand bucks you wouldn't
Starting point is 00:17:58 I lost the chain with the chain on the easiest thousand I've ever made I lost the bet The two easiest thousand I ever meant I know, yeah. The two fattest chains, too. But I bet him, I bet him 5K mine would be bigger
Starting point is 00:18:10 so I lost that. Oh shit. Gabe, you want to get a mic fix? Yeah, you're gambling, man. You need a mic on me? No, no,
Starting point is 00:18:18 as long as you like that. Yeah, no, it's cool. Yeah, it's cool. There you go, Gabe. Get your camera time in. There you go, Gabe. Solid work, Gabe.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Big, big episode. All right, so we got to start this off. Yeah, the most important question. Right away, eh? How much you bench? How much you bench? mention right now? Because you look like for real you're in the gym. I don't even, it's the thing, I've been, I'm like, it's been like a whole month that
Starting point is 00:18:42 I've been bullshit and I ain't even been back in the whole month. So really right night, I look at myself right now like, like I'm skinny. But you take it serious. But like benching, not when I do. Like I just got with a trainer and everything. I just need to be motivated once I'm in the groove and I see results. It ain't nothing, you know, I'm trying to become. No gym for a month? Yeah, it ain't been, yeah. It ain't been, yeah. But you've been moving around, right? You've And I've been moving around. I've been overseas, so I ain't been eating good.
Starting point is 00:19:06 Yeah. I'm eating good, certain spots, certain spots. I ain't ate at all, you know what I'm saying? But you take the gym serious, though? When I'm in that, yeah, yeah, especially with the training, yeah. Or I wouldn't even, I wouldn't even, yeah. What are you trying to get a client? No, I'm trying to get a client, bro.
Starting point is 00:19:19 He came in here, like the cutoff. He looks like he really takes a gym for a room. You look at. Oh, I take it for room. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, that's where I'm, that's why I'm going to be at, you know what I'm saying? Where'd you guys hit in Europe? Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:19:30 number of different places. We started off. I was in Korea, like two days before, I flew back just to shoot a music video and then flew right back, which I don't know why I did this. I should just did the video when I got back, but whatever. So I flew back to do a music video. I flew back in LA straight from Korea and spent 4th of July in LA in the hotel room watching fucking fireworks from, you know what I'm saying, miles away or whatever. I'm like, I didn't even realize it was 4th of July, you know what I'm saying, until I saw fireworks outside The hotel, my name is 4th, July. I could have went home.
Starting point is 00:20:02 What video is you shooting in Korea? Yeah, y'all, no, no, no, I went, I had a show in North Korea. Oh, okay. Y'all was headlined in the festival, North Korea. South Korea. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Imagine North Korea.
Starting point is 00:20:12 Can't go there. That'd be lit. That'd be a lit show. They were like, North Korea or South Korea. It was so much love that, though. It's crazy that they know my music, you know what I'm saying? Like, word for word. But, yeah, what's that like when you perform in, like, Asia and shit?
Starting point is 00:20:27 Yeah. It's different. You know what I'm saying? It's surreal. You know what I mean? I went overseas, though, like my first year in the game, 2019, I went overseas. I went to, like, the U.K., but that's closer to, you know what I'm saying? Like American culture, for sure.
Starting point is 00:20:38 You know what I mean? Like, I was getting ready to go on my run. Like, they had already, like, payment events and everything. All right before COVID hit, you know, I was like, I had, like, number one song in the world when COVID hit. So I had already, it was on my, I had a calendar full for, like, the whole year ahead before the ball even drop. And I was supposed to go to all them places, but that's when COVID hits. So the world kind of shut down, you know what I'm saying? So they're just now getting to get me back around.
Starting point is 00:21:01 So they rap them like my day one. Do you think people show more love overseas or in the U.S.? Like at shows and all that? It's different, you know what I'm saying? And then you got to think, like, so if you're talking about like a tour, like it's different because everybody just pulling up, they're pulling up specifically for their artist. Right. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:21:20 Which I sold out, like my first three tours, you know what I'm saying? When I pop, like, first one was like, you know, the regular capsized rooms that people start off with, but they had to, like, upgrade me, like, by, like, my second or third date, just because that's when Shug was going crazy, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. So I ended up, I did, I completed, like, two arena tours in the U.S., and that love is crazy, too, you know what I'm saying? Every single person is there for you.
Starting point is 00:21:42 People bringing me pictures of me and my kids, pictures of me, I ain't, I don't even got, you know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, that type of stuff, you know, it's different, but when it's overseas and these people don't even speak the same language as you, like, literally, like, I can't even ask somebody, you know what I'm saying? Hey, oh, what time? Yeah, but the bank goes over it. I can't even ask the most simple question.
Starting point is 00:22:01 You know what I'm saying? And people know your music, word for word. That's, to my music come on. Okay, now they know. I can say, put your hands in the air. They look at me like, like, what the fuck is he talking about? You know what I'm saying? Music come on.
Starting point is 00:22:12 I know every word, you know? Yeah, you blew up fast. You blew up really fast, too. Yeah, I mean, you know, from a mainstream standpoint. Like, did you or does it just look like that, though? No, I probably just looked like that because of how, like, once I got in a dough, like, I, boom. You know what I'm saying, a hundred miles of running.
Starting point is 00:22:28 Like, I ain't slow down at all. And I'm glad I did. Like, I mean, I really treated it like the same way I would treat like, like anything, like on the streets. You know what I'm saying? Like, it's nothing's guaranteed. Nothing's promise. You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm saying that to say, like, the way COVID hit out of nowhere, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:22:44 Like if I wouldn't have came in 2019, most people would have had to hit song like Shug and just, you know what I'm saying? I could have sat back and ate off debt for like two years. I'm literally overseas three years later. That's what they want to hear. You know what I'm saying? Like, they want to hear those. So I really could have just, like, ate off of, like, my very first release, you know what I'm saying? It's a mainstream artist, like, the music I pop with.
Starting point is 00:23:04 But I dropped another album six months later. I dropped Kirk, then I dropped, uh, blaming on baby, you know what I'm saying, six months after that. And I dropped that right when COVID hit. Like, we had masks out of it. I got a mask on my face. But I did all that within a year and six months of being in the game. I feel like Rockstar was super by those albums, two of those albums. I went number one first week, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:23:24 I get stuff like people have been in the game, five years. is just not doing. What do you think makes you different? I did Saturday night live, Jimmy, I did all that. Like, what makes you different? Like, why do you have that drive? You know what I'm saying? Like, I'm just me.
Starting point is 00:23:34 And then not only that, like, you know, I'm in love with, like, the hustle. You know what I'm saying? No matter what it is that I do. Yeah. So I don't, I just really, it ain't more so about, like, accomplishments with me is more so, like, the journey and the hustle. That's what I, that's what I rock with. Did anyone teach you that specifically?
Starting point is 00:23:50 Yeah, I mean, probably, yeah, I had to see my pops, you know what I'm saying? Like, just to never be satisfied with it. It's always like, what's next? I, job well done, what's next, what's next? But you still don't, I always been set up that way. I'm still that way right now. But, bro, I feel like you went super viral during COVID because Rockstar and Toes, I remember went wild during that time too.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Crazy. Toes was on project before the one that rock star was on. Toes was on Kurt. Toes was still doing this thing. But I was just always ready to just boom, boom, boom like I had more. I had new. I just had so much more to offer. Even like a song like Rockstar, like the contrast between rock star
Starting point is 00:24:23 and the song I broke through it. shook. You know what I'm saying? That's like two completely different. Do you know which ones are going to go like viral and crazy? Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure, for sure. I really don't try to, I don't try to guess it so much now just because I ain't dropped the album in two years and three
Starting point is 00:24:39 months, you know, the game changed so much. So now I'm more so just, you know, back to just making music that I love making it. What's changed? I'm going to put it out, let people receive it. I mean, no, just music, the game, it just changes. It evolves, you know what I'm saying? It constantly evolves, you know what I'm saying? Real quick. You know what I mean? I guess so many artists that are
Starting point is 00:24:54 in the game doing their thing. Now, it was, you know, that was probably like, you know, I meet them, they'd probably be like, hey, bro, watching you, boom, boom, boom. Like, that's what made me, blah, blah, you know what I'm saying? People say that to you? Yeah, yeah, for sure. Are you, like, a competitive guy when it comes to, like, numbers and shit like that with other rappers? Like, are you trying to, like, set records?
Starting point is 00:25:12 I mean, I already did. Like, when it comes to all that, like, I already did. But I ain't, that ain't really what I'm on. I'm definitely, like, yeah, I definitely, like, try to be the best of whatever I do. You get what I'm saying. But it's, it ain't, like, a personal competitive type thing. ain't like it's all good i really already did it i already beat everybody you know what i'm saying like i did like i got like you know beat t awards best new artist this award best and i was the top
Starting point is 00:25:34 streaming artists in the world i got three billboard awards two or three i was a top streamer artist in the world you know what i'm saying in in uh 2020 you know like that ain't that's and so you know the way i that's why you know just like my approach on on anything i do period like that's what that's what And that's why I was able to just come in and just do what I did. Because I really didn't even pay that shit no attention. And I look up and it's like, boom, like, number one in the world. Can I ask you a question about, about, like, your father and your relationship with your father? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Because you, you, obviously, I know you, I know that you had all of the come up, everything and your father had passed. And you still don't know how he passed. Nah, I mean, I ain't even, no, they say he had help problems. And even, like, when we came to his career, right, to come, like, pack his stuff up and everything. Because I had to, like, as yet there, like, it was, like, my second day on tour. You know what I'm saying? Like my second day on tour, so I had to go there for the funeral. I took a jet there.
Starting point is 00:26:28 This is when I didn't even know what was up, period. You know what I'm saying? I fly in. I took a regular flight there. This is the very next morning after I find out one in the morning. It's the very next morning I get on the plane. But me and my little brother, we're in his crib. We get access to his crib.
Starting point is 00:26:41 And I found out type of, like, medication and shit like that too. My brother, he talked more with my brother than he talked to me. I'm more like him. I'm more like stubborn. Like, I don't really want to talk to nobody until I get the job done, especially to him because that's what we do you know what I'm saying like we on I don't want no cookie no cupcakes no claps no nothing it's just you know yeah yeah job well done I lost my father when I was six does this like does it drive you does it make you want to be better yeah yeah for sure I mean
Starting point is 00:27:06 that's already instilled them and not only that like the the the beauty of it is he got to see me boom break through and pop right before you know what I'm saying he got to hit me and tell me hey look you taught me something you know I mean boom boom so it kind of felt like you know The shit was so weird to me, man. You know what I'm saying? It kind of just felt like, you know, at least I got to, you know, show him that his job as a father was, boom, well done, completed the right way. You know what I'm saying? Before he left everything, so it was all good.
Starting point is 00:27:31 That's the only part about it to give me peace. Like, he literally text me, text it to me. You get what I'm saying? So that's the only part about it to kind of give me peace on the situation. But, like, had I known, like, as far as I mean, not knowing that he had, like, health problems and shit going on. He was taking out of that medication. She had, like, surgery, this and that. Like, because he don't, you know, and I'm the same way.
Starting point is 00:27:51 Like, he didn't want to tell him. He ain't no complaining. Yeah, yeah. He probably told my little brother because their relationship is there. But me, like, I'm like, you know, I'm like him. You know what I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, we see you. You're all over the grand mirror family guy, for sure. Yeah, yeah, for my kids.
Starting point is 00:28:03 Love my kids. How's it changed, like, being a father? Like, I always hear people say, like, once you have kids, it really changes you. Yeah. I had my first born daughter, like, when was they born, 2017? So it's like a year before I popped. And which I was already, you know, like the second I got him from a microphone and rapped, like it was to be, you know, where I met today was to take it all the way there or I
Starting point is 00:28:28 would have just left the where it was at. Like the second I would have felt like I'm not, you know, like people like in my city, like they was competing with like each other like trying to be, you know, the man in the city and off the rip like I was already competing with like I have my eyes on people like Drake and these people and whoever was hot as hell at the time. You know what I mean? Like I was competing with them so that was the level. Like, that I was hustling on.
Starting point is 00:28:50 You get what I'm saying? Were you actually competed with them? I ran circles around. No, I mean, not. And I won't say, can people like that's, I'm striving to be like them. I'm trying to outdo them. Who are people, you know? And then those people became my peers.
Starting point is 00:29:01 Who are people like, you were like watching like that? Drake, who else? Watching. As far as like they hustle, like, in the way they, like, they, like, they, like. So that's like somebody like as far as like. Yeah. Yeah, like who like inspired you to like want to do. Future.
Starting point is 00:29:14 Future for show. Like the way he like, once he, like, once he just. drop, what was it, a monster. Oh, yeah. Was that coding crazy on there? Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It was that.
Starting point is 00:29:25 It was probably that right there because I wasn't doing a number around and a car making plays all I was listening to. You were bumping monster and your dad's Mercedes, right? Yeah, coding crazy. You know that song.
Starting point is 00:29:34 That's the song's hard as fault. What's wrong with that? Why do you have to hate it? Everything on them projects. So like before you got hot, you were looking at these guys like this is the competition I wanted to be with,
Starting point is 00:29:42 not the people in your city. Like as you were making it. Like that was off the rip the second I stepped in front of a microphone. Yeah, you're like, that's where you wanted to go. Yeah, yeah. I was trying to go all the way there.
Starting point is 00:29:51 I wasn't trying to wrap the gig, girls, to be cool, nothing and that shit. I already had that type of shit going on. I already had emotion. You know what I'm saying? So I really wasn't, it was a little bit different with me. And I really wasn't too excited about that. I had what I had going on, but it wasn't really, you know, back then. We'd go to the club.
Starting point is 00:30:08 I'd be in there really, like, with the straight face the whole night. Like, you know, it's not about being in that, like, this whole night. You know what I mean? Like, just chilling. You're a cross-arm guy in the club? Nah, not, not, not with my arms crossed. That's a little bit too tough. What's your vibe in the club?
Starting point is 00:30:22 What's your vibe in the club? Yeah, drink, yeah, I'm saying, for show. That's a good vibe. Yeah, what's the best thing to do in the club? Like, smoke a lot. Just, you know, do you. Just, you know, do you. I mean, different clubs got different type vibes, though.
Starting point is 00:30:36 But now, like, more so. Like, if I go to a club, now I'm probably getting paid. Yeah. And if I'm not getting paid to go, then I'm going to have a good time. And I just, you know, I have a good time if I go, but I ain't really. What does a club pay you to pull up? Oh, man, it varies. It varies, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:30:53 Sometimes I, you know, I get 200. 200K to pull up to a club? You're performing, though. You're doing a couple songs, right? I do a few. Yeah. What? Like, three, but I always overplay it, though.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Like, if you, you know. That's fucking lead. It's the best gig ever. You over deliver. You over deliver. You said a couple songs. Hell, yeah, I do. Yeah, I do it.
Starting point is 00:31:12 Because if they give me that type of bag, that means it's love that. That means you got that type of draw in that club. And then you've got to come back and ask for 300. It's people, it's full of people that just, you know, got nothing but love for you. And they don't get to get that close to you. Like, it was such a, like, it was a divide put between me and those types of fans. Because when I popped, I went so big, like, I went from being, like, in the clubs
Starting point is 00:31:33 where, like, so close to me, like, where, like, the roof going to come off just more. I went from being in the clubs to, like, getting 10, 15 in the clubs to, boom. Like, hey, like, no, you need to go on tour, which I accepted less. When you first going to her, I went from getting, like, 15 in clubs. It's easy to get him like, and then I've only got to be in the club 20 minutes to saying, okay, now you got to go on a hard ticket sell run and you got to perform for 45 minutes to an hour, or it was an hour off the rip, actually, yeah, an hour and you only get $7,500. I'm like, man, hell no, I'm like, hell no, hell no, like trust me, like the way you perform
Starting point is 00:32:07 boom, I trusted them, I popped out, I went around that corner the first show, saw them people, I'm like, okay, yeah. Do you remember the first big bag you got for a performance? First big bag? I don't remember that. I can't remember that. I'm still stuck on 200K for the club, bro. It's amazing.
Starting point is 00:32:26 You should be doing a club, just three times a week. I didn't got more for a club before. What's the most? Yeah. Y'all going to make me send it. I could ask real quick and it'll probably come through before the end of the end of the feature you ever got on like on a feature. Doa Lipa, no?
Starting point is 00:32:40 A feature. Was it duolipa? Because I saw that with three-fitting. I got a bag. Duolipa. It's on the internet. I'm going to say it. It was $350K.
Starting point is 00:32:47 Just pretty lit. I think it was three even. It said $3.50. It might have been $3. Who said that? That's on the Internet, bud. Who the fuck said that? A bunch of different articles.
Starting point is 00:32:55 I can't believe everything you see on the Internet, buddy. That's why I'm asking you see. I think it was $300 to be fair. I think she got off cheap. I don't want to no extra grease in the pan. You should ask for $400. It was at least three, though. It was three.
Starting point is 00:33:07 It might have been $350. That song has $1.4 billion streams on Spotify. Absolutely. They love it overseas. They love it. They love it. They were singing a word for word. Let's talk about it.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Do a loop, but you should be thinking your ass? I got a question for you. What do you think, like, now, nowadays, do you think the internet and, like, social media has a massive effect on an artist's ability to grow, to become popular? To grow? Yeah, like, to, because, like, I'll see random shit pop off, like, random people. Like, do you think if artists are not using social? It's just, like, they're done for it.
Starting point is 00:33:35 They can't succeed. Yeah, what artist doesn't use social? Yeah, I mean, at some point, I think it, I think in the beginning, yeah, you do. But at some point, I think, like, it may be safer for you not to use it as much. You get what I'm saying? Yeah. I think, I think. Why?
Starting point is 00:33:51 Because you can become overexposed. Well, they believe that you overexposed when really they, you know, it's like, it's like me. I got a prime example. Like, I don't really got to speak. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Like, I don't even got to speak that way. Like, I get to where I'm so big.
Starting point is 00:34:07 You get what I'm saying to certain people. Like, people see me on Saturday Night Live. Like, I didn't even know where Saturday Night, like, no disrespect. Saturday Night, like, I didn't know what Saturday Night Live was until I went. You know what I'm saying? Like, I didn't, oh, yeah. I didn't know. You get what I'm saying? So, even when I'm going, like, everybody's so, like, my team, they're so excited, like, even the performance that I did there, like, you know what I mean? Like, all that, like, it was just so, like, just me doing me type of thing. Like, you know what I mean? Like, I was so all over the place. I
Starting point is 00:34:34 probably had maybe, like, 15 days off the whole 365 days, like, of the first year I pop. If that, and those is, like, how to do you have pop. If that, and those is, like, holidays, you know what I'm saying? Or birthdays, where I'm like, nah, I gotta. But even on a birthday, like, I'm leaving that night. Like, I'm going to do a show that night. I'm doing two, three shows a day that type of shit. But, like, I mean, the only difference is not, like, it'll leave you like, like me. Like, I get, so in other people's eyes, like, I'm like a fucking household name, I'm, you know. And I mean, you know, to the world's defense, like, I was like, like, I don't even know if I'm supposed to speak on this, but whatever. I don't
Starting point is 00:35:10 I don't give a fuck. Like, I have my own meal at Burger King. A lot of people don't know that it was called the Jonathan Kirk Mill. They wanted to use my name. I shot the commercial for it and everything. Oh, shit. I got, I still, they had my name on the box, everything. Did it come out of me?
Starting point is 00:35:23 No, no, no, that's when all the controversy and shit popped off. Was it fire or not? Oh. Yeah, it was, yeah. What was on the burger? It was going to come through Burger King and see, like, my government name. And I'm like, why don't try to use the baby? And they're like, nah, they want to use Jonathan Kirk.
Starting point is 00:35:37 It was supposed to be like the real meal, real and greaker. That was the whole thing. The real, the real, real. What was on it? What was on the burger? Oh, I told him no mayo because I don't like mayo, so I told meo. This Canadians, the Canadians love mayo, bro. That's what I'm talking about. No, fuck mail. No, fuck meo.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Fuck mail. No, fuck no. What do you go? ketchup and mustard? Yeah, ketchup and mustard. I like to make them. It tastes like a double cheeseburger ketchup. He puts mayo on a hot dog.
Starting point is 00:36:01 No, I don't. You're not on a hot dog. All the Canadians do that shit. No, I don't do it on a burger. Mayo on a burger's fired. That's kind of weird, too. I don't like it, man. I'm strictly ketchup on a hot dog.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Which is also not cool. But they have bacon too. I like bacon on a burger for sure. So like I had a lot of shit going on. So with that going on, like, I don't know. I mean, people would see like how big I am and like the streaming numbers. And if you look at the billboard top 10, like I'm on there and all that shit. But I'm still, you know, I'm still like just, I'm me.
Starting point is 00:36:32 You know what I'm still just a down other person to meet. I'm just doing me. Like I'm not even really caught up in what I got going on. I probably should be more. be more caught up in it than I will be more aware of it, you know, I got to move a certain way, you know, watch what I say, you know, when I'm in certain places or whatever, you get what I'm saying? But to me, like, it's just another day on the job. That's why people respect you so much, though, because you're just like, you're just like
Starting point is 00:36:53 controversy, you don't give a fuck. Yeah, I mean, at the end of the day, that's what you got to do. And, you know, whatever comes with it, it comes with it, you know, you just got to, you got to figure it out. That's life. That's life in general, you know, but that's why I approach any hustle I do. Like, I'm, you know, I'm full esteem ahead. Like, I don't really, I don't play around with nothing.
Starting point is 00:37:10 Because, you know, you never know. I look at it like a drought. You know what I'm saying? In the streets, like, it's the same thing. Like, that's guaranteed to happen. You know what I'm saying? It's going to make a break cussless. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:37:21 Yeah, absolutely. And whatever game you play, you know what I mean? It ain't nothing just ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, ups, you feel? It ain't never been like that for me, so I don't expect it. Yeah. You know, I don't expect it out of this business for show. So through all that, because, like, all the, I'm assuming we're talking about the same thing, the drama, the Rolling Loud
Starting point is 00:37:37 Yeah, yeah. What did you learn through all that? And have you came out and spoke about that stuff yet? No, I mean, I just spoke about it several times. Like on the, on IG stories and shit. Yeah, nah, no, no. I'd rather not. I'd rather just talk about it in the music.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I mean, I have. Hell yeah. Besides like on the IG stores, like when this shit first happened, I spoke on it several times. It didn't been a whole year. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Coming up probably a year now.
Starting point is 00:38:00 Yeah. It'll be like a whole year, like next week probably. Yeah. You know what I perform down at. Because you're performing now, right, Friday? That's this week. I'm pissed. because it's hard to see that you're not headlining.
Starting point is 00:38:11 Right, right, right, right. But that's something. Rollin a lot, fuck with me, though, no. I saw I love with Rolling Loud, man. Even, like, you know, when the shit, when everything was going on, rolling loud, I still, like, went out on, like, a tool with them and everything.
Starting point is 00:38:20 So Rolling Loud Day. You just did Portugal, right? Yeah, yeah, absolutely, I did. I did a lot of, any Rolling Lives that I wasn't on, like, over the past years because, like, I told you, I was already booked all the way through 2021. Like, I was already booked
Starting point is 00:38:34 damn near until now. You get what I'm saying? But, like, all the, like, the festivals and stuff that, like, had to pull back, you know what I'm saying? And, you know, respect what was going on or whatever. Like, I was, it was radius clauses put in place. Like, because I was at all these shit, you see, like, Governor's Balloos and, like, I was on all them shit.
Starting point is 00:38:51 So, like, all of them, like, I was, like, headlining them, like, every last one of them. So it was a radius clause to where Roland Lai was in the same area within a month, then I couldn't do both. What was that like? Rollin Lowe, they ain't never, they ain't never shot away from him and step back, whatever. You should be headlining, though. Yeah, we'll get the home. I'm going to say that.
Starting point is 00:39:08 Yeah, what was that like in the moment? They know I should. I'll be rocking shit. I know. It's crazy. When all that shit was going down, like, were you kind of scared, like, how everyone was, like, trying to cancel you and shit like that?
Starting point is 00:39:18 No, I wasn't scared. No, I wasn't scared at all. That was probably my problem. That was fucking at all. Like you, none of you is like. They probably took that as like, you get what I'm saying? Like. They want to go harder.
Starting point is 00:39:29 Yeah, exactly. Like, you know. You just got doubling down. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, but that's just me. Like, you know, like, it ain't. Yeah. It ain't, that's me in any situation.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Why do people try you all the time in person? They don't. They don't? They don't. Because I feel like I've seen a few things on the internet. Yeah, I mean, you may see a thing or two, and that's, you know, things go.
Starting point is 00:39:51 They go the way they go at the end of the day. Like, you know, but it's, I think, I think really like, like the negative perceptions and everything, like put out in the media. I think it kind of like, you know, the way the media, the media paints me, that draws. a certain type of attention from people. I don't think I know for a fact, like people will see me and think like I'm a super aggressive person or whatever. You don't seem that way at all.
Starting point is 00:40:15 But please don't, man. I'm like, and I just laugh because it's like, you know, I'm really like. You don't seem that way. Yeah, but that's because you're as big as you are. People want to got to go. You're not going to be positive. Be negative.
Starting point is 00:40:25 You know, they go hard. Yeah. I mean, whatever, you know. But yes, it's like, yeah, they had to. And when I look back, like, when I look at like history and like, when I just studied the game, I studied the game before I even, you know, step foot in.
Starting point is 00:40:36 to it. I studied it. That's why I'm like, okay, yeah, I could definitely do that. Like, I can be up there with them. You know what I'm saying? I studied the game before I even took part in it. But, like, all the people who had the type of motion that I had when I came in, like, you know, you got to go through, you got to go through what you go through. You have a favorite. Some people be, you know, they blessed enough to, you know what I mean, be able to maneuver through it. But when you pop, like, the way I pop, like, the way this person popped, the way this person had it on lock, The way this person had it on lock, I can say names,
Starting point is 00:41:06 but I don't even, you know, out of respect for people. And I get it, you know what I'm saying, what people go through, because I go through it, so I would never try to make somebody relive a moment. They didn't grew fast, you get what I'm saying? Sure, sure. You can probably think about a number of people, you know what I'm saying, like who have been like, you know,
Starting point is 00:41:22 here, they still live in legends, they still heroes, but, you know, at some point, like, the world, you know, just try to just bring them down. It's part of life. It's a part of success. You deal with that. Absolutely. Once you go up,
Starting point is 00:41:33 Once you go all the way up, you know what I'm saying? I can't wait for you to follow. It's just the way. It's so common. People want to see you winning until you're winning, and then they fucking hate you. Straight up. Absolutely. You got a favorite hours?
Starting point is 00:41:42 And then you win through that, then they, oh my God, I just love to see them win. You know what I'm saying? That's the way to go. People get bored of the cancel culture shit, too. It's cycles to the shit. They want to cancel you for a bit, and then it's not cool anymore. And then they're like, ah, what's like, I'm over this. Right.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Right. All right. He's crazy. He's cooling in this shit. He's cooling in this trend. And then, you know, it go to where it goes. So it's the people who they survive all the fitness. You know, I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:42:02 The people who can survive through it and maneuver through it, they remain amongst us to other people, you know. They may say, man, fuck this shit. It ain't worth it. I'm cool on it. Yeah. We had Torrey Lanes on like a while ago, and he said he doesn't think it's canceled. He just thinks it's, like, suspended now.
Starting point is 00:42:17 He doesn't believe in the cancel shit. What do you think about that? I mean, it's a trend. The cancel shit in itself is just, it's a, it's a trend. Like, it's not something to believe in. Like, it ain't even a concrete thing. You know what I'm saying? It's just a trend of, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:33 popular at the time. I think it's just straight up, on the internet, it's like negativity always rises to the top. Yeah, that's where is that right now? And people like to push that. That's a way is that. But it's like the love is always, it's always greater. It's just louder.
Starting point is 00:42:44 Yeah, the love's just louder. You know what I'm saying? And sometimes you're scared of love and make the love. And people aren't going to comment positive shit, right? Like, no one comments positive shit. You know what I mean? They're doing too much if they do that, so it's kind of. But if you know how to read between the,
Starting point is 00:42:58 lines, it's definitely, it's always still there, I think, where people who are going through would fuck up at, and I've been guilty of this before, you give what I'm saying, this, when you give more attention to the negative than the, because, like I say, like, I'm, I'm whole live, okay, going through this career-wise over here, and then I go overseas, so I've never been, they don't know nothing about, they, they got different trends or whatever they follow over there, like, they, oh, my God, they fainting, you know what I'm saying? In South Korea, they don't give a fuck out of that. You know, I feel like most of the negativity has got to be from Americans.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Yeah, yeah, for sure. South Korea is showing love. Yeah, I don't know. It was South Korea, Portugal. Oh, man. Is there a... I went everywhere. I went everywhere in Europe just now, bro.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Poland, I saw, Norway. I went to Paris. I went to... Norway, right? Yep. What's your favorite out of all those places? Did I just went to? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Portugal. Where the best girls at? Which one had the best girl? Yeah, in your opinion. Portugal. I went to Micanos, Greece. Greece. Greece has some vibes.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Did you go to Croatia? Some vibes? No, I went to, uh, uh, um, Kosovo. Uh-huh, Kosovo. I ain't going to Perj. I went to Kosovo. I went, so I went like nine countries in like 10 days.
Starting point is 00:44:18 Damn, eight days, yeah, like nine countries. It was a different language everywhere I went. Do you have translators with you? No. No, we didn't. So how do you communicate? Even in South Korea? No, South Korea, we did.
Starting point is 00:44:31 Yeah, you did one. Yes, we did. Yes, oh, my God, we did. We definitely did. South Korea was loved. They treated me great. And if I told you all what I just made, you know what I'm saying? In South Korea?
Starting point is 00:44:41 Yeah, and that's one of them. Wow. Can you say or no? How much you made going to international? Egg tall, let's go. Just no, I ain't tripping. Damn. Hey, you hear me.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Well, how many? No, I ain't tripping. We need the bag talk. Go back to ball. But wait, how many shows did you do there? Just know, I ain't tripping. Motel, just no baby straight. How many shows did you do?
Starting point is 00:45:01 Just one? I did, what in South Korea? Yeah, just one show? Yeah, I did one. How many people showed? I think South Korea I made that want me to pop it. Do you know how many people came? What I made.
Starting point is 00:45:11 Wait, wait, wait, do you know how many people were there? FaceTime the accountant right now. Show it to Kyle. Kyle will tell us. I'm going to let him say. South Korea I made, I made $4.50 South Korea. How many days? It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:45:23 One show. One show. Do you know how many people came? That's ridiculous. What? What? How many? Wait, how many people came?
Starting point is 00:45:31 $450,000. I think they had like $10,000 out there. It was outside of where they do, where they'd be having an Olympics set over there. Oh, fuck. Whatever that arena is, I think it's open. What's the fans, like, what's the vibe? Like, what do you see when you look at the fans in South Korea compared to like Americans? Is it still like everybody's getting lit?
Starting point is 00:45:48 Oh, yeah, no, they, for sure. Do you see the video? Do they know all the words? Yeah. On my Instagram. It's on it. What? It ain't chopped up, it ain't edited, none of it.
Starting point is 00:45:59 How are the girls in South Korea? Is there any fire out there? There's fire everywhere. Why are you laughing? Why are you laughing? This guy gets out of their bad as fuck or their dust. Yeah, he follows. I don't like, and I don't know the language either, so it's kind of, you know, I got to.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Yeah, they go to the footage, probably somebody probably ripped it up my. You get a rub and tug twice a week, Brad. What? I don't know why you're laughing. Bro, whatever. He lives at the tuggy. His response was hilarious. Yeah, no, I just, you know, I was trying to let it, I was trying to process it.
Starting point is 00:46:33 You know what I'm saying? You still love performing? Absolutely. That's what I love doing the most. Out of every, out of all aspects of music? Yeah, I love making the music, but I love performing, for sure. That's so dope that you get paid that much to do what you love. Because it's not, anybody can make the music.
Starting point is 00:46:48 Yeah. A lot of people, they go in the dark room, they close the door, they kick everybody out. Oh, there's a few baddies in that. But, like, performing, you got to really be, you got to really mean everything. you say. What kind of artist? The fuck with me. You got everything you say.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Do you have a ton of music made or do you make it like on the fly? I make it on the fly because I think it'd have been two years. So like at this point, like I got more music. I'm really music I've ever had in my life. Like it's usually I don't even like making it. I like to feel exactly, you know what I'm saying? Like the music when the music comes out. Like I don't want it to be, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:19 Past feelings. Yeah. You want from the heart. Or I'm not going to fuck with it. Like I'm going to drop it in because I didn't already move on from who I was. So do you have stuff. Go. Should you want post?
Starting point is 00:47:29 I always, I just record. I record more. They give me my release date. I, so I got to have the assets turned in by this time. This is the deadline. And I go to the studio on their ass and be like, okay, let's clear these the ones I'm doing. Damn. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:47:43 It's in the frenzy, but it's art. You know what I'm saying? Like, that's the way I paint. You said that the music evolves so quick that you can't really sit on tracks anymore. Yeah, I ain't really want to sit on. Anytime I have, like, I won't even fuck with it. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I won't fuck with it.
Starting point is 00:47:57 This is the most, like, attention I've paid to, like, some music before I've dropped it before, like, the new project I'm getting ready to drop. When does it drop it? Can you say? Yeah, fuck that. Um, yeah, I can say it. Fuck it. Yeah, I'm gonna drop it beginning of August. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:48:14 Oh. Yeah, so we're talking like... Full album, obviously. Yeah, for sure. Can you say the name of it? Baby on baby, too. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:48:23 I'm hype. Do you like doing songs with features or more solo tracks? Oh, shit. No, I've been waiting. Baby on baby, too, no good. Let's go. You like doing, like, solo tracks more, or you like features? On my own shit?
Starting point is 00:48:33 Yeah, like... On my own shit? Probably solo tracks. I like collaborating, too. You get what I'm saying? I like collaborating when the artist, like, just when we both equally invested in the song. You know what I'm saying? Other than that, like, it's all good.
Starting point is 00:48:47 Like, I ain't tripping. I didn't did that before. Like, you got to think at a certain point, like, where I was on everybody's shit. Okay, I want to say this. I remember at one point, you were on everyone's shit. and you were like, probably, it was probably some of the best music. Absolutely. I remember that time, too.
Starting point is 00:49:01 Yeah, yeah, I was on everybody's shit, you know what I'm saying? Like, from, I mean, I was people calling me to be on that shit that I've never heard of before. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Are people coming back to you? They're going to come back. Yeah, they're going to come back. But it's all, you know, it's part of the game.
Starting point is 00:49:15 And that's why I ain't tripping. Like, it was all, I treated like business. Like, I don't really, you know, that's just how I treat it anyway. It's like, I ain't really no, you know, like, we don't got to be. I get it. I let some of these people I ain't never met, bro. Like, I've never stood in a room. What do you say to them, though?
Starting point is 00:49:29 You say, like, who are you, or you just go for a big bag? I don't say shit. I mean, they send this on to me and ask me. Oh, okay. Even if you've never heard of them, you'll listen to it and see you. No, I'm going to listen to it. You know what I'm saying? I mean, it had been some before where I just, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:49:44 It was something before I didn't want to do. I still did. And they ended up being. You know what I'm saying? Do you have any big features on this album? On this album, for sure. I do. And the ones I got on this album are all
Starting point is 00:49:55 Yeah like they like they them type of features Like I really don't even care to do features Like if I got a feature on this album like It's somebody who I really like You know what I'm saying Like okay yeah I want to hear them on this song Like it's you know When are you gonna
Starting point is 00:50:08 Sorry go ahead When are you gonna reveal a track list Um I really ain't I ain't probably like the week before Like I really don't need trip on like track list type shit Like you know what I'm saying Like I'm ready to just bomb
Starting point is 00:50:21 Like let's just go How you know when you want someone on the song? How do you know that? I mean, I don't know. And this, like, this is the way I work, like, when it's my music, like, I would stop, like at the first, like, I'd do the first verse. I just wouldn't even, I'd be like, okay, open it up and bounce it out. Like, a lot of songs I just know, like, I, you know, I see the entire song being done
Starting point is 00:50:39 before I even finish it. If the person I got in mind, boom, end up passing on it. And I'm the same way, like, it's a bunch of songs. I love the songs. People didn't send me, but like, I just got to be in the vibe of making the music to really make. If I'm in about boom, I, You know, once I go to this, once I do do it, though, it's nothing. Like, it's nothing.
Starting point is 00:50:57 I make a song sitting right here. It's funny. I sit on the couch just like this, a hit. That's a lot of shit on top. That's how I made a lot of songs. A lot of it out of top? I made Bop in the hotel room in Miami. Damn.
Starting point is 00:51:07 That's what I was going to. The song went wild, though. The dance went wild, too. Yeah, I made that shit sitting down. So you don't write a lot, it's more just, you just go for it. You don't write at all. What? Oh, whoa.
Starting point is 00:51:15 Yeah, I don't write it off. No way. No, I don't write it on. What? I don't. Play the music. Are you for real? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Oh my God, that's crazy. So how many times you got to go through it though? I mean, I'll punch in, you know what I'm saying? Some of my, some of them I just walk shit down. What the fuck? Punch in, you know, I go in and out. Do you have a favorite artist you like to work with, anybody? Favorite artist that I like to work with?
Starting point is 00:51:39 I wouldn't even say out of work. And then see the thing with me, like a lot of people, like a lot of, and this is another thing. Like, so with feature is not like, I would rather like be in the room with the arts. with the artists. You get what I'm saying? Yeah. Exactly. Or they be in the room with me.
Starting point is 00:51:53 Even if I already did my part or something, whatever. And I ain't don't know, like, I'm not really with the, like, you don't got to hang with me to make music with me. Like, I ain't really that type of guy. Like, it's all good when they come to that type of shit. But, like, you know, I'm just like on an artistic level. You know what I'm saying? Because we could do so much more.
Starting point is 00:52:09 You know what I mean? But like, a lot of people, like, they didn't want to record. Well, you could do so much more. Like, it's like, you can hear something and I can add something to it. We can just, you can make it so much more better. You know, it's just so much more you could do if you're in the same room. It's like what you guys can do, sitting in the room as opposed to us all being on the fucking Zoom call. I guess I meant, what do you mean?
Starting point is 00:52:27 They don't need to hang with you. What does that mean? Oh, yeah. Like, we don't got to, you know, we don't got to really fake kick it. Some people you do, it depends on what level you want to create on. But, like, you know, if this is like, for me to want somebody on my song, I got to already be a fan of their work. You get what I'm saying? So we don't got to really, you know.
Starting point is 00:52:43 Has anybody ever, like, sent you some shit? Sent you some shit. and you're like, yo, you might want to run that back or you didn't really feel it, and you hit them straight and you're like, yo, bro, like, maybe one more take? Oh, like, sent me a verse and I ain't fuck with it? Yeah. Oh, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:52:55 And you tell them you're straight up, like, bro, run it back? Well, everything about them is straight up. I'm going to tell nobody to run that back. Like, I ain't never told nobody to, like, redo that verse. Before I do that, I just probably just won't use it. Oh, okay. Yeah, because what you did is what you did? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:08 Did people catch feelings like that in the rap game? Oh, yeah. No, like, if they send you a voice and it's like, Like, yo, why do you want to, like, give me a feature? Yo, this is so funny. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're getting their feelings. You know who don't give a fuck about shit like that? My boy, yay.
Starting point is 00:53:22 I don't know. He don't give a little fuck. What do you think about him trying to be president? I think I'm voting. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Prison, and I'm voting. Damn.
Starting point is 00:53:30 For sure. I'm full with Ye. Yeah, he's a gangster. But he's never going to think if you're like, yo, I don't like that. He's not going to be like, what the fuck is the best. Oh, but like I was saying, yeah, he's going to tell you. Oh, he's going to tell you how he feels? Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Starting point is 00:53:41 That's like with Trump or no. Do I fuck with Trump? Now, hell, yeah. Oh, man. What made you fuck with him? Trump is a gangster. Stop. Do you know how fast you were going?
Starting point is 00:53:53 I'm going to have to write you a ticket to my new movie, The Naked Gun. Liam Nissan. Buy your tickets now. I get a free Tilly Dog. Chilly Dog, not included. The Naked God. Tickets on sale now. August 1st.
Starting point is 00:54:06 You let code that guy. Yeah. And, love back in, though. What the fuck? Anlo Wayne. No, he ain't back in. Oh, man, he's good. A lot of that shit don't be, man.
Starting point is 00:54:16 It's just media. Media. Now, we just make, you know, media make an ant look like a fucking dinosaur like. Yeah. You see we had, did you see when we had Trump on this shit? We had Trump on this. Yeah, see y'all don't see that. See, y'all got something going on.
Starting point is 00:54:29 They got taken down. It got deleted in 12 hours. Why they do that? Because he's a gangster. And I need to get my cousin out. Get him out? Yeah, yeah, California. Oh, California's tough.
Starting point is 00:54:41 Yeah, with you. You need your new campaign partner Trump when you come back around. I let me, man. I can swap it out. He'll get my cousin out here for sure. He's a political prisoner. We're getting to that later, Trump.
Starting point is 00:54:54 You got to get on that. For what? Oh, you know somebody. He knows Trump. I know Trump a little bit. Yeah, you know. They fucking play golf together. Don't undersell it, bro.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Don't undersell it. I've been practicing on my golf. Yeah, they play golf together. I've been practicing on my golf. Yeah, you got to get out on the course for Trump. That'd be dope. I got to practice some more. I won't come out.
Starting point is 00:55:09 out there, they'd be like, it's a rookie, nah. Why, you actually golf? No, I just been practicing. Do you play any sports or do anything like? Put it on the side of the house. I'd be beating out of my home boys in basketball. They can't. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Like one on one. Confirmed? Hold on. Hold on. We got to home. Is that confirmed? He's shaking his head, bro. He said no.
Starting point is 00:55:28 He shook his head, this guy. I'm not trying to call him out. Look, you see the goddamn. You know what I'm saying? But, nah, yeah, I play basketball, football. I like sports a lot. I like sports. I never.
Starting point is 00:55:39 played, like, for the school teams and none of that. You're a Hornets fan, though. I'm with all the rules and shit. You support the Hornets, don't you? Yeah, yeah, floor seats. You got our relationship with, like, Lamello, or any of the guys? Yeah, yeah, the whole game, man, we cool people's. We rock out.
Starting point is 00:55:53 We rock. What's it like living there? And Charlotte. Yeah. I love Charlotte. You know what I'm saying? It's the crib. It's where I'm from.
Starting point is 00:56:00 It's, like, everywhere else, I mean, at first, like, you know, like, when I'm first bubbled, like, I got, like, a lot of, like, a lot of, like, pushback from, like, the police, like, they didn't want us, like, that was you could tell, like, anything we would do. Like, if they would see us, they would know there was us in cars over there. They'll pull out of cars over there. Come try to shut every show down that I had, you know what I'm saying? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:23 And then once they start seeing me, like, do more in the community, they see me do, like, I don't know. I don't know when it's, I know it just changed out of nowhere. I think probably, like, they see me. I came and spoke at, like, some type of, like, panel. There was sitting, like, the city council was there. everybody was there was a lot of people that was there once i came and did that like now they you know they embrace more open arms that like they let me move like a human being you know what i'm saying so now i saw a little you like to stay away from like like you would
Starting point is 00:56:51 did you ever live in l.a or anything like that no i was about i was about to get me a spot out in LA right before cover here because i was just out there so much like with music and then what i want to do like on like a film and yeah film production side like that's where all the resources is that. But like, even with, like, music videos, like, I was, I was getting so much work done on that level. You know what I'm saying? L.A., I was going to just get a spot out there. Every time I went to L.A., I was working, working, work, and I stopped, you know. L.A. in New York, like, in two spots, I go there. Boom. You can't take me nowhere. Yeah, you can't take me. I wouldn't even say
Starting point is 00:57:23 most productive. Most productive, yeah, like music video, yeah, you can't take me nowhere with that amount of resources and I don't, yeah. But you like to get away and just go back? I'm like a kid at the candy stone. You like to just get away and go back? I wouldn't get away from everything? No, I don't call that a getaway. That's when I go to everything.
Starting point is 00:57:38 That's when I go get to work. But is North Carolina getting away? Oh, I'm sure. I'll be cooling. I'll be cooling. I'd be riding around like I was in 2014, chilling. Has MJ ever showed you love at the Hornets game? Car still at pump number four rolling up before I pull off.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Michael Jordan showed you love? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We did see MJ walking out at one time. We were sitting in his lamb truck. He showed me love. You showed him my first time bumping into him down up. Damn. What's the crib like?
Starting point is 00:58:10 The crib is nice. Like a fortress or what? That's what they'd be saying in the media. Yeah, that's they say. Fortress with guys with air, man. I like, I like their description of the crib, though. They said it's like Tony Montana's house. There they go.
Starting point is 00:58:25 In the media. Like there's guards walking around with ARs. I don't know. That's what they say, bro. They say you're walking around with a gun everywhere. That's what they're saying. Straight up. That's what they do.
Starting point is 00:58:33 I live in the, I live in the, By the way, I live in North Carolina, you know what I'm saying? That's amazing. That's amazing. Yeah, you can have a, you know. You have to. Yeah. Everybody has one.
Starting point is 00:58:44 People got them. They kids got them. You know what I'm saying? Like, kids like in the country, like, you know, where I'm from Charlotte, it ain't its country as like other outside areas. But like, yeah, they teach, they take their kids to the gun range and shit. So, you know, people who, a lot of people who, and it's different, you know, some people from New York where you can't have them. LA, they're super strict on them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:05 I think a lot of people who are, what you would call, like, maybe over-opinionated, like, on, like, gun, yeah, gun control is that they just lack the knowledge. Like, they don't know you can rightfully possess a file on just like everybody else, you know what I'm saying? And they need to exercise those rights, I think that'll help protect people from a lot of the bullshit to be going on, like, mass shootings and shit. Like, that shit is, like, it should be no way, like, that type of shit can happen. Like, that could never happen around me. Never, right? It's going to be some movie shit, like some Denzel washing the grocery store.
Starting point is 00:59:40 You could pull, like, you could be Denzel? Yeah, yeah. Would you ever do acting? Yeah, for sure. Being a movie? Yeah, for sure. I'm, it's, they coming. If you, if you had to have one guy play you in a movie, who would it be?
Starting point is 00:59:52 Play me, me. Yeah. But it couldn't be you. But it couldn't be me? Yeah. I don't know, man. The way it go with like acting and movies and shit, bro, you know, a new, a new talent to come through and just surprise you.
Starting point is 01:00:06 There's so many people I know of now. Yeah. From certain shows, like 50 cents, he real good at, like, picking out talent and, you know, making people stars. You got, um, excuse me, um, what's my guy name? Damn, uh, damn some of the Idris from. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I hope I ain't fuck my boy name up from Snowfall, like people like that.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Like, it's, you know, really all some people need is the shot in the right script and the right. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? The right story. You know what I'm saying? And then they can just boom, you know, I feel like I can put any good actor in. you know, in the script, this, just fueled by my ideas. What was your childhood like, switching the subject a little bit?
Starting point is 01:00:45 That's broad for me, you know what, you grew up, like, how did you grow up? Like, what sort of, you know, financial setting? Like, how were you? Different ones, different ones definitely, definitely came from nothing at all, you know what I'm saying? It was me, my mama, my two brothers, you know what I'm saying? And so I know when my mama got like the first crib that she got, we thought it was a fucking mansion. We was calling it a mansion. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:01:12 It wasn't up but like a three-bedroom house upstairs and downstairs to us. That was a mansion. Now it's like, yeah, okay, you know, whatever. But like up until the end, like, you know, it started off apartments, apartments, whatever. We was born in me and my brother just sitting right here, we was born in Cleveland, Ohio. We moved to Charlotte when I was when I was seven, when I was six, seven, six. just turned 70, you know what I'm saying? I'm 30 now.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Right. So I've been in Charlotte, like, you know, I'm basically from Charlotte, you know. But I've seen a whole lot of shit before the age of seven, too, so it's so many different size in me. So from Mississippi to Cleveland to Charlotte, them three places, Clarksdale, Mississippi, Cleveland, Ohio, Charlotte, North Carolina. Anybody could do like they research on all three and, you know, or Google Maps the shit and Zoom in and see what it look like, and then I let that paint the picture.
Starting point is 01:02:01 paint the picture. Yeah. Because to me, like, you know, and this is like, this is shit, like, I had to start doing like interview. I mean, I know I came from that. You know what I'm saying? Like, I understand this, but like, it wasn't until, like, I popped and started doing interviews. Like, they asked that question more and more and I go into detail about it.
Starting point is 01:02:17 That's what make me think about it. Because up until then, it's just, this shit normal to us, like, you know. It's just how we think it's supposed to go. How old were you when you first got in the studio? Um, I used to like, I, uh, I remember somebody having one, like, up the street. one like up the street from me, maybe like two neighborhoods up. And I go up there and rap with them, but niggas, niggas would be funny style, though. I remember, like, the one or two times I would, like, go rap, like, at, like, a studio
Starting point is 01:02:44 and shit like that, like, and I was little, like, to whoever did have access to a computer and software and all that shit, you know what I'm saying? Like, they'd get my ass up out of there, like, I do some shit with them, and there. I was better, for sure. So how did, like, when did you first know that your show? It was fire. What were you like, yo, this is amazing? The first song I made.
Starting point is 01:03:03 So, like, the first real song I made. The first real song. But then not, but see, later on, see, I went and got, like, I went and got a MacBook and a fucking microphone, but I just never really did. And I, and a camera, shot the whole music video, everything, like, did the whole shit. And I knew that was better than a lot of this. You directed it and all that yourself? I mean, we're talking, like, just a Sony, bro, like, just...
Starting point is 01:03:24 You just turn that bitch on in the apartment. You get what I'm saying? Yeah. Like that type of vibe. But I'm even at, like, the first. The first time I really went in the studio and made a song, like, it was like a hit song. Like, in my city, that was a hit song. Like, I ended up getting Bootsie on the same song, like, a year or two later.
Starting point is 01:03:41 I remixed it and then from there just, but the very first song I made, very first song I made. Like, it was, yeah, like I moved on to get it made. I got it played in the clubs, people in the clubs in my city, rapping it, word for word. Like, the very first song, man. Went to South by South Westwood. People going crazy chanting it. I went to South by South Westwood. I was like two months after rapping.
Starting point is 01:04:03 I'd be seriously rapping. Did you have to do like the old school style, like taking it to clubs and being like, yo, play this shit or listen to this? That's definitely what I did. That's why, you know what I said? That's a crime. When y'all asked like, I feel like I pop quick,
Starting point is 01:04:13 like, I really like. That's the hustle. Yeah, I was like passing out CDs, like putting flyers on every car outside the club, a flyer on every single car outside the club. How long are you doing that for? Like two, three years. Okay.
Starting point is 01:04:26 So you did, you hustle that. Yeah, for sure. I did that all over the place. I was doing that shit down here. I was in Mayan, we was down on, we was on South Beach, we was on Collins doing that shit when I was riding around. I came out here to, like, shoot a video. It's a song called Light Show.
Starting point is 01:04:42 And I shot it with Real Ghost with the same guys that I popped and shot Shug with rock star, all that shit, pop. I actually went to jail shooting that video down here. Yeah, me and like five other people. Wait, like, shooting a video. Oh, my God. They came and like, pressed this, like, what y'all doing? Cut us off.
Starting point is 01:05:00 Like nothing, they start putting people in handcuffs. Be like, what you mean? What's going on? They start slamming, slamming niggas, putting nicks in handcuffs. Ended up charging like five of them. They charged me with assault on the officer. It's like 2017, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:05:18 So what would you say, like, an upcoming artist? Like, what do you think is the most important thing to do in the game right now? To be, like, a top artist? To try to become a top artist. Right now? Yeah, like, what? as someone's like, besides have fire music, obviously. Yeah, yeah, I would just say to just beat themselves
Starting point is 01:05:34 and just do them, don't try to really, you know. I don't know, because like I say, it's different. Like, I knew how to become number one. Like, when I, you know, it's even, yeah, it's more water down now than it just was in 2019 when I pop for show. Like, you can't, nigs got to walk on eggshells. Now, you got to be careful, like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:05:53 But with me, but I don't even think you've got to do that if you're a fresh artist. Like, what they want is that fresh, you know, they want that artist to get. give them that don't give a fuck feeling when they listen to them, you know what I'm saying? Like, I feel like that's what I was. I feel like a lot of people pop too and then they fall off though too. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 01:06:08 That's what I'm saying. So it's kind of like, you know, it ain't really no way to, it ain't no way to gauge it. Like, you know, the only advice I get somebody to just do them, just stay true to you and, you know, and definitely stay consistent. You know what I'm saying? Like in, and for show, like, once you get in the door, like, you know, take full advantage of it. Like, don't, like me. Like, I ain't take a fucking day off. like I literally did and I'm glad I did I got all my flowers before you get what I'm
Starting point is 01:06:34 saying before the powers they be you know played it however they played it like I got fucking I got platinum I everything I ever dropped is platinum so every album I've ever drop is a platinum album double platinum so you but is that put pressure on you everything I've ever dropped nah because you want to be platinum every time right it's no pressure comes naturally then yeah yeah it's no pressure it's even less I didn't already did it. I got my rings. It's like a basketball up. Yeah. I'm chilling. I let y'all I let y'all fucking grow
Starting point is 01:07:04 gray hairs and shit over there. Is there anything you would have done differently if you could redo it? Nah, hell no. I love it. Absolutely not. Yeah. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. Are you able to tell us about that story about recently when someone broke into your house? Yeah, they ain't breaking my house. They jumped
Starting point is 01:07:20 the fence. They broke into the state. You know what I'm saying? Why? I... You probably wanted a picture, huh? They wanted a picture? No, hell no. No, they're one of the Cubans. I'm fucking around, dude. They had a hoodie on and was like knelt down behind a wall and some more shit.
Starting point is 01:07:36 Like, yeah. How did you like, what were you doing? I was actually in the studio, like, putting together, like, the track list for the album and shit. And then how did you notice? I got a call from somebody that was outside, like working outside, like my contractor. I got a call from him. I was my house. I was my house on the football.
Starting point is 01:07:55 It's just the way you talking. I come outside. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah, the threat was neutralizing to... You hate being in the situations like that? Yeah, absolutely. What goes through your head when you're in a situation like that?
Starting point is 01:08:11 Girl, that's scary as fuck, bro. You know, once the situation was under control enough, you get what I'm saying? Like, for me to even be able to prosecute because at first it's like, I don't know what's going on. Yeah. I wouldn't, you know, I wouldn't expect nobody to jump a fence at my house, you know what I'm saying? And it's clearly posted all over the place. There's ill intent. And then to be absolutely ill intent.
Starting point is 01:08:33 You know what I'm saying? Like I'm still all the way until they get there, get this dude up and I walk my property. You know what I'm saying? See what's up. See where it came in there. You know, when we get everything, figure it out it's still. To me, to me it's still, you know, I still can't trust. Like what's going on with that situation?
Starting point is 01:08:48 You still don't know why exactly that were there. Yeah. You get what I'm saying. So, you know. But, you know, the guy, the guy made it out good. He's okay. Yeah. Was he armed?
Starting point is 01:08:57 No. It wasn't. But it's crazy. Now it's like the shit that happens to these people, like, what happened to fucking pop smoke? That's what I'm saying. Yeah. You gotta be in your car.
Starting point is 01:09:08 Like you have to protect yourself. No, for sure. You better. You better, especially me. I mean, you. I got daughters, you know what I'm saying? Had one of them had been there, it probably would have went a different way. I probably would have been even more like, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:09:20 Yeah. Definitely. I would have been way more like protective. Like, you know what I'm saying? Which is me like, contrary to like, you know, popular belief. I'm, I'm way more controlled in, like, high pressure situations when people think I I am. You get what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:09:34 Like I say, just the media and the way they paint things. It'll make an ant look like a dinosaur. I'm an ant. Look at me like an. Yeah, well, they like, they like pushing areas. Yeah. Not for sure, for sure, for sure, for that, you know, I'm glad, you know, that situation was able to turn out the way it turned out of it thing, you know?
Starting point is 01:09:51 How did you, this kind of switching out topics, but how did you an MBA go about, like, doing that whole collab album? We had to pass it back and forth, you know what I'm saying, because just the conditions of his, um... It's like a whole process doing that. It was like it's probation or whatever, his supervisor, at least whatever they got going on with him. Yeah, it was a process for sure,
Starting point is 01:10:06 but he got a dope-ass engineer over there with him. Shout out the Jason dope-ass engineer. Did he hit you up? You know what? He even, bro, like, major shots to him. Like, yeah, he reached out to me, um, he reached out to me through my book in age. As a matter of fact, um, just randomly one day.
Starting point is 01:10:21 We was already working together before he, before he got locked up the last time he got. locked up and shit. Oh, okay. Yeah, yeah. And he had mentioned that, like, what's up? Let's do it. Let's do an album, a joint tape.
Starting point is 01:10:31 And I'm like, it's whatever. So we go back in the same spot. We get up and we start doing it, we knock it out. You know what I'm saying? And he got picked up maybe like a week later. Oh, really? Yeah, so whenever he did get out, which ended up being, I don't know, nine months later. Yeah, it was a big chunk of time, with a big little chunk of time.
Starting point is 01:10:49 You guys link and then, like, in the same city and just, like, kind of, do the whole album together? Yeah, yeah. But at the time, he was located at the time, it was like a dope, a big dope, like, what you call it, like, one of those places that where you can ski and shit, like a ski resort. Oh, damn. Like, maybe, like, 30 minutes from him. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:11:07 That was something different to, like, out into the kids to, like, you know, tropical places, shit like that. I ain't never, I've never even been to a ski resort. That was my first time going to one. Did you ski? I took the, I ain't ski out of. Snowboard? Yeah, snowboard. Oh, you bored?
Starting point is 01:11:20 How'd you do? Yeah. Yeah. I didn't even, I ain't going to lie. Falling? I ain't gonna lie when I like a bitch I ain't do the big You had a bunny hill
Starting point is 01:11:29 But I was out there recording Like so I was you know I would do the I was doing the I was doing shit with my kids With my kids and my nieces and shit I was doing that with them The stuff that was like
Starting point is 01:11:38 Care friendly It would have been selfishing me to go Yeah mom like Oh what I'd be pretty thrown off if I saw you on the bunny hill I'd go practice for fucking A hour On not breaking my leg
Starting point is 01:11:48 You're like Greg here I said I'm gonna go I was telling all I was telling I was telling my brother She's like we gotta go That's the best phone Wait wait wait wait Yeah, that's like, that's some different shit.
Starting point is 01:11:55 So is NBA, you're like right here and NBA is blowing by you? Did that piss you off or was he on the bunny hill? Nah, he couldn't come, he couldn't come to ski or stay in the career, that type of shit. What's the bunny thing? What you're talking about? No, he was saying that. I'm not, bunny thing's like the beginner hill. It's the lowest hill.
Starting point is 01:12:09 That's fucked up. Yeah, that's definitely what I was going. Yeah, that's what I was on. Yeah, he's what I was on. You have to start on the bunny hill. I wouldn't. I ain't about to break my leg. I'm like, shit.
Starting point is 01:12:18 I got, I got shit to do. I can't be out here on crutches and shit. How long did it take you guys to do that whole album? How long does it take you to that whole album? It ain't take long. It probably took maybe like two, three, four days I was out, two, three days. That was two days. That was two days.
Starting point is 01:12:34 It was two days of record. Two days for a whole album. I'm still shook that you just come up off top on these songs. Like, that's so incredible. Yeah, no. It's, you know, it's a gift. It's a gift for sure. It's amazing.
